yes, Rob's hand is finally back to normal size! Caya is back to work, but still looks like, as the saying is in Dutch: a pooped-out grey pea (een uitgescheten grauwe erwt). I hope she can stay on track for her study.
I am still sick. But a little bit better than yesterday so that is moving in the right direction. I slept well tonight!

yes, Rob has done all the doggie walks yesterday, and took care of cooking and groceries. He is being great. I hope I can do one walk today.
yes it is amazing how much difference a good night's sleep makes. And to think I could go without sleep for at least one full night without feeling rotten.... back in da day... when I was young and stupid.
aaannnndd.... my sister-in-law has finally consented to hand over ALL the photo albums of my father's and grandmother's. i have been asking her for years to allow me to see them. always have had absolutely no response, like she thought she was entitled to have them.

recipe: freeze uniform overnight. Collect jelly in bucket. Remove uniform from freezer, pour in jelly. Throw in schoolbus right away, no time to let it set!
It's so much easier than it used to be. Years ago I had four small boys (youngest now 16, oldest 27), and THEY are the reason I went grey so early :)

She has Downs syndrome, so has the world's most fabulous stubborn streak. I wake her up by seizing the opportunity to get her socks on before she is out of bed. That's two less limbs to deal with later. Shes fabulous once shes awake and running but OMW not so good before her morning drink when shes half awake. Same as all of us.

probably. when we were first married, Don said i would fall asleep mid-sentence. that amused him no end. that was pre-CPAP days. i was pretty tired.

Rob is catching up on sleep at last. He sleeps like a baby. Most nights, the app says he has slept like 4 or 5 hours of deep sleep and about 10 or 11 in total. One or zero apnoea attacks an hour. And no more snoring at all.

it certainly is. He is mostly back to his former self too. No more sniping, no angry flare-ups all the time, he is playful and sometimes downright obnoxious, lol, and I love it
