I got pneumonia vaccine on Thursday. Today, Saturday, was first day I had energy again. Friday was powered by 10 cups of coffee and a Pepsi it left me so tired.

Well, the groundhog says six more weeks of winter. But since he is only right 30% of the time, I am still rooting for an early Spring.

Oh I know there are finer and better whiskey's than Jameson. They are also more expensive, so out of my reach.

It has not been a good week for air safety. First that awful crash here (body parts are still washing up on the banks of the Potomac River, ugh) and now that air medic plane crash in Philadelphia.
Lets pray that it is over now.

hurshy, the medic jet crash is 20mins from my home, the area it crashed is very populated, all row homes .. we were near it yesterday for hockey ... the scary concern is ppl p/u jet parts for souveniors .... the air strip it left from is in a industrial area 3.5mi from the crash ... there's never been an accident that i know of like this ..
well i heard the plane itself was pretty old, so, it could just be, you know, not super surprising if something goes wrong with old stuff i guess :(
it sounds like it's pretty lucky there weren't more deaths on the ground than there were, given the populated-ness of the area

i saw a news interview with a guy who witnessed it, who is from Ukraine, so like, his instant unconscious reaction was like that it was a rocket attack, poor fellow :(
not too scared, but, as far as jets age, lear 55, any plane that flys, it subjected to extensive maintenance on a periodic basis .... it had to be a malfunction of something electronic or ???? the way it nose dived, i think the flaps were pitched down for some reason, on take off, they are out and down, to gain height, it would of been too early to trim them for flight, only in air 3.5m .. they need the black box to determine the cause, not pilot error
but they said the black box could be damaged bc of the severity of the impact
yes, that's true, but, at least there will be pieces .. none found yet, they take off about 160/180mph .... when it went down was likely doing 220mph ... that was a big hole in the ground, i was worried about the jet fuel spreading and burning everything ... back to cooking, just came on to get a recipe for a dry rub on pork ... ttfn

when it happens in a field, it's no big deal, in an area like northeast phily, there's hundreds that are in walking distance of the crash site .. a friends brother was driving on the blvd when it happened
