we are going over to her home in about 30 mins for a private audience..lol. then on into Wodonga to meet up with other cousins for dinner. it's going to make for a long day but we don't do this often.
sometimes it is simply worth the price. At least that is how I look at it. I enjoy it to the hilt, then pay the price while gorging on the great memories.

ikr? But we manage. I slept well this night and Rob's gout attack is subsiding. DLS has started (ughhh) which is destabilizing but a good night's sleep does help with that too. So all in all, not bad.
i am pleased to see that sprite. btw, in one of Anne's albums is a photo of all the living Drummond family at that time. I'm about 5-6 years old, i think my mother was expecting my brother, David. My grandmother and Anne's mother were sisters.

They can be removed manually when doing a copy and paste - I prefer that to short links because it's hard to know where the short links are going

That's why the \n is included in the code here. To prevent people from being redirected to spam or porn.
the long ones show the name of the actual site, unlike TinyURL links, which redirect to a different site
the "\n" is a character code for a line break, intended to break up long items so that they don't blow the chat width, but in Windows, it needs to be "\r\n" instead to work (long stupid story - "\r" stands for carriage return, "\n" stands for line break)
If they were working as intended, they wouldn't appear at all, but there would be a line break instead
In my case, I guess the position of the hyphens prevented any of the lines from being too long, in spite of the added "\n" characters, but that would depend on the browser, font, and maybe other factors.
Just to be clear, the fact that TinyURL links appear in the chat here without "\n" in them doesn't mean that they don't redirect to spam, porn, or even to a site that looks like what you were expecting, but also installs a virus on the side.
Anyway, now Trump is saying that maybe a journalist ended up in a Yemen bombing chat discussion because there is something wrong with the Signal chat app - unlikely, but it wouldn't have happened anyway if they were following Defense Department instructions NOT TO USE Signal.

If you copy it from the chat, then paste it in the address box, you can edit it to delete the "\n" characters before hitting enter. Spaces would mess up the address, and would also need to be deleted.
I will just avoid it all by not going to any websites directed to.
But maybe I can see if I can put in my own line breaks in future - I'm not sure if that will work

Well, hopefully all the rain this week will improve conditions there. My sister said the smoke in the air is fierce.
