12:11 pm

Howdy, Hokie. :)

12:12 pm

Nice, toasty one here today. Sitting at 31C.

12:13 pm

I don't know what that is but it is very hot here too. I played tennis this morning and am having trouble acclimating to the heat after my trip.

12:13 pm

Is 87F

12:14 pm

thanks

12:14 pm

85, feels like 88 here. I would've sworn it was hotter.

12:18 pm

Humidity is the killer.

12:18 pm

yep

12:18 pm

you are more eastern? I forgot where you are.

12:18 pm

We are right on Georgian Bay so humidity is always right up there.

12:19 pm

More central. Two hour drive north of Toronto.

12:19 pm

gotcha

12:20 pm

I have to admit my canadian geography knowledge is limited

12:21 pm

thanks for the un9 hint, sug and aloy (who are both gone)

12:22 pm

We found thos amazing fan for the bedroom though; it is a 16 inch circular fan on a fixed base. It does not ossalate, but pivots up and down. We just point it at the ceiling and it gets the air moving wonerfully.

12:23 pm

Darn typos

12:23 pm

do you not have AC?

12:24 pm

I don't know how common it is in canada

12:24 pm

Yes, but only in the livingroom, kitchen, and bathroom.

12:24 pm

Not the bedrooms.

12:25 pm

might have to sleep in the living room

12:25 pm

If it got bad enough we would, but this $35 is a true wonder at moving the air around.

12:26 pm

$35 fan*

12:27 pm

We could also put the fan in the hallways to push the cold air to the bedrooms if needed.

12:27 pm

mr homie puts ours on 70F at night and it is freezing in the a.m.

12:28 pm

phantom eyeroll

12:28 pm

phantom eyeliner

12:28 pm

I am struggling with that E - only found one

12:28 pm

phantom eyesore

12:29 pm

My brother lives in Vegas now. They must be roasting there.

12:30 pm

yeah. the one time I went to vegas it was like 105, but it really felt better to me than 95 with humidity

12:30 pm

My daughter and son-in-law just got back from a quick trip -- said it was 105 degrees F.

12:30 pm

Ouch!

12:30 pm

Carla, maybe you are too bored to find the en5 (yes, it's a hint). But I'm still missing one also

12:31 pm

that's the one I have, sadly

12:31 pm

12:32 pm

12:33 pm

oh, found en6

12:33 pm

and the other en5

12:34 pm

oh duh!

12:34 pm

thanks for the nudge, paris

12:34 pm

I had the 6 but not the 5 alternate...

12:34 pm

yeah, no one spells it that way

12:39 pm

Seriously, what is that en6? When you sign up for a Pillsbury bake-off?

12:40 pm

Came across these cartoon panels online by Jenny Jinya. They deal with death and the passing of beloved pets. She is a true artist, but be warned, these cartoons will rip your heart out of your chest.

12:40 pm

what do you mean? en6 is a regular word.

12:41 pm

Have no idea what it is at this point.

12:42 pm

the en6? like when you sign up for a school or something.

12:42 pm
