you are the best, lickety, thanks. Morning babblers.
crashing - not seeing the n nor the corner r -- maybe in the morning. Good night.
just saw the n :)
Someone will be dying to give a clue for the ne8
not more of that rotten humor, ru
Why? Is there an expiration date?
Jokes of this nature lead to a dead end I guess
it is blackened humor, I guess
Should I repose it in another way?
I think you should behave with some extinction
We could go on and on ad masoleum?
it is a grave matter
Bad jokes are my demise
end mine
You are tomb much sprite
have you two stopped digging at each other?
It will be the newest cessation here! Mark my words
*hugs rose* Late as ever!
I'll have to put you in a room full of spades and tell you to take your pick.
As long as we don’t drop dead from a lack of sleep
all with a stiff upper lip
sprite * hugs * so long as it's not late for dinner..
a 6am start on a Sunday should be illegal.
I draw the line at the cannibalpark
you tell Nero that, lol.
Maybe not just a lip! You have a certain esprit de corpse sprite
it does repose a problem
I better got lay to rest
Go to
make it a temporary one, ru :) Sleep well.
sweet dreams ruru
Night. Thanks for the laughs. I nearly died laughing
you just made my dead
I am just passing…. Through now
I think ru went to brush his pearly gates
* giggle *
how are you doing, darling?
not too bad considering infusion time is just 4 weeks away. oh darn, just remembered i was supposed to plant out some new daisies i have bought, always tomorrow i guess.
tomorrow is early enough
and you honey? good, bad, or indifferent night?
finally slept some tonight. And it looks like we have a buyer for the trailer! He paid a part of the price in advance already so that makes it pretty sure
terrific. yes, people don't walk away from a deposit on something. it's sold. that's for sure.
i think i need to remember to dose myself Friday nights. Fridays are so busy, that i think i am over-tired. slept about a total of 3 hours last Friday.
it was my biggest worry, that we couldn't sell it. Hopefully, today we will also get rid of all the wooden whatsits that are stored in Tim's FIL's garage.
did you have a busy day yesterday?
your fridays are too busy, honey. You don't rest, you don't eat, and then you are surprised you don't sleep
yeah, yesterday was crazy. Lots of stuff to arrange. Today I will go upstairs and go through some more boxes, throwing away a LOT.
i don't envy you at all.
did i tell you i am knitting little teddy bears?
no? Tell me
a lady at church knits up squares, then sews them together to make knee rugs. she sews one last square in the middle to make a pocket, and she wants to put a little teddy bear in the pocket.
aw that is sweet
first time i have tried to knit in years. a few cramps from holding size 10 needles, but with a little rest between every four rows, i am managing to do it. i am so pleased. knitting was something i did well back in the day.
it is such a soothing thing to do
please send me a pic of the bear!
oh my.just glanced over at Don. he is sound asleep, sitting in his chair, headphones on, movie running on his laptop. and now he will tell me he is just resting his eyes...
he is. Profoundly resting them.
how is Rob doing?
rob does the same thing, I usually let him sleep, unless his posture is such that he will be in agony otherwise
okayish. He is going to Zaanstad by himself today, I am staying home. So that is progress.
does the sock thingy i sent over help him with the compression socks?
no, the socks are too tight for that to work. We are putting them on together, both armed with rubber gloves. We have the routine down pat by now
what a good idea with the rubber gloves!! which clever person thought of that?
:D guess!
of course! you are brilliant. i must remember to try that for myself.
*giggles* one fun side effect of it all... Rob is stiff as a board, but he has to reach for his feet twice a day now. He is getting a little more limber
not the cleaning rubber gloves, but the workman ones. They give great grip.
hey, that's also great news. and i can now reach my feet and the floor when sitting down, so am able to do my socks and shoes for myself.
wow awesome!
when i weighed myself last week, i was 200gm short of 9kg lost. my clothes are staring to hang on me. i have had to give away my lovely floaty tops i bought in Rome. they are too big for me.
am so proud of you, honey
maintaining the exercise program as i lose weight is helping so much. Don says i am shrinking all over. when i fell over the other day he was able to pull me to my feet without any problems.
awesome. But not the falling part
fireflies
it was the same step Don has fallen up on himself. it is now sporting a smart coat of white paint, which highlights it's height.
WTG SPRITE!!
are you up for a phone call later? if so when.
well that is something at least. As they say here, when the calf has drowned, they fill in the well
I think you say close the barn after the horse has fled or smth like that
after the horse has bolted... yeah.
in about an hour? Rob is still asleep.
no probs. will have a good chin wag then. see you soon.
bolted. that is the one. Lol, in all the stress I even lose dutch words. English is worse.
see you then, honey. Big hugs for now. Poofing!

Good morning, Babblers. :)
I think today is a good day for reading--which I do far too little of these days. It seems that the internet and social media have given me a diminished attention span. Now, when I pick up a book I glory in the act of reading a story, and each time I chide myself for not doing it more often these days. I have always been attracted to sea stories--especially in my youth, so I am starting with some old favourites--Captains Courageous, followed by some sea stories by Cpt. Frederick Marryat. I have left our young protagonist on a fishing schooner, soaking wet smelling of fish, and full of indignation at his current situation to find a few words here. Kipling knew how to set the scene!
Good for you. Have you read the Master & Commander books?
Oddly enough, I have not--though they have been on my radar for many years.
I enjoyed the movies.
I also just finished Grey Seas Under, and Serpents Coil, by Farley Mowatt. I sea I could tastes the ocean spray in his words. Brilliant writing!
Sorry, typos.
Maybe I am thinking of Horatio Hornblower on TV.
Perhaps. :)
I passed halfway so I am done. Enjoy the day.
Have a goid day, Scrabby. :)

I guess I don't remember the babblets like you think ;)
some of these have to be really strange. Can't figure out anything resembling a word for that cr 6/21 that fits
yeah, that took me a bit of trying things. ends in sibling.

missing sa x5 and running out of ideas
so 7 please?
so7...witchcraft. Why did you want to know if I live alone?
your comment about people who chat a lot -- for those of us who live alone this is the only contact we have with others for 2 or 3 days
ty for the so 7
My comment was not about people who chat a lot. It was about an interesting word I got from a word of the day site.
8 to go, but need a break first
molly, what was the word again? I remember I liked it when you posted about it, but now I can't remember what it was
ooh, just found 2 S words Sa 6/18 and Sa 7/28... only 2 S's to go!
hi nrk
logorrhea
i knew someone who seemed to have that. she would just talk and talk and talk over you to continue her monologue
i mean, not just voluable, just weird.
I have/had a couple of aunts like that
I like that word!
Hi TO!
probably not the illness, just very strange. i have never met another person like her.
well, there's the technical illness and then there's just the general criticism... I think the word can be used both ways :)
pathologically incoherent, repetitious speech....remind you of anyone?...hello all....just finished, so heading out...bye!
I'm out. Have a good night.
night
