this is the first puzzle I've seen where the 6 & 7 letter words are easier to find than the 4's
So funny... so airconditioning is taken from the english and turned into a dutch abbrevation. Don't you love the way language works?

when I am concentrating on the grid the chat log keeps beeping and bouncing it is really hard to catch it everytime
What I really don't like, is that when I am reading the log, it jumps as someone posts a new message. Have to keep scrolling and somehow that doesn't work comfortable.
I think Dr_God is working on a fix that will turn off the auto refresh of the chat log if wanted ...

It's a magic strategy. Any promising ending I put behind everything remotely likely to connect, and it pays off more often than not. Don't feel bad about the ending, Hugs, it happens! :)

Oh, and another trick: if there are words with double consonants in it, try the alt. with single consonant, or the other way around. Gave me the first C7/36, which is in dutch with the double-consonant spelling.

Brandyjack -- it's easy to spend half a grand on one pair of glasses. It depends on your prescription. They charge for high index lenses, the finishes, anti scratch etc etc. If I bought just one pair, it would have been not far off that. I got the second pair "free", but had to pay for each lens.

Its not easy Liana & I felt like hell for about 6 months but I really do feel an improvement now and I honestly don't miss it much. Both my sisters smoke so if I'm craving I make them light up and passive smoke for a while!

Used patches for 2 days then 1 fell off and I hadn't noticed, I didn't see the point after that. I think i must just have been ready to give up. It wasn't hard but my chest has been awful since - right up to Jan 05. Loads of infections which I never got when I smoked! I told my GP - she laughed!
Must go to bed now - still not finished but have had great fun so I dont care. Sweet dreams to you all & thanks for the stats & clues and good company.

torg..I hear ya Last time i quit it was when I got food poisoning.
I won't preach, but quitting was the best thing I ever did. It was hard. I had to get bronchitis and pneumonia to do it. But once I quit, I realized how much I hate it, and have not wanted a cig since.

I became very ill with bronchitis myself, but I kept on smoking althouth it would have been relatively easy to quit. I love smoking. I enjoy it.
Errrrr..well, lol. all this smoking talk has me ready to go downstairs and outside..to smoke. I dont smoke in the house..In winter, it really cuts down..lol
The quitting aids, especially the nicoteine lozenges work quite well, but I have always given in eventually to my half-pack a day.

Thats pretty far up there. The farthest I've ever been in Canada is to New Liskeard for the wedding of one of my best friends. French farming country. None of us speaks French and we had some issues getting around but it was beautiful up there. NOt near you I don't think though.

Minski - that is a far ways from me, almost at the other end of the country. I have been to Quebec a few times though... and I am of French origin so I don't have too much trouble getting around there.
I just can't hear the word snow yet. I love snow and I love winter but I'm just not ready for it. We are skiers and I took last season off to have a baby. My feet grew an entire size in pregnancy and haven't gone down so my almost brand new skiboots don't fit anymore and I still have 20 pounds of babyfat to lose so my ski pants don't fit either. Tonight was the night the club opened up the coming season's trips for signups-- I got there early and got in line, was able to make both the Jackson Hole and Salt Lake trips! Happy! Both trips sold out tonight, 24 people each. We also run six weekend trips to Mammoth Mountain from San Diego, 50 people each.

Hugs, I've been skiing for 38 years now-- still not really good but I do enjoy it. Going with a group makes it a lot more fun. We share condos so that helps keep expenses down, and one is always with friends.

The new craze is snowboarding-- I know several long-time skiers who have tried boarding. Some have never gone back and some are "bi". Of course, the kids are all boarders now.

onyx when coming to sd, come NOW-- October & November. Do NOT come in May and June-- we have "May Gray" and "June Gloom" and many visitors are disappointed. Now we are having our extended summer and the kids are in school, no lines at the Wild Animal Park or Sea World
