Hey everybody!
Another day another puzzle, thanks to everyone who helped me with the last one. For 45 minutes I guess falling like 10 words short wasn't terrible ;-)
morning! :D
I think my blood pressure went up about 40 points during those last 30 minutes. Now to relax and begin the evening again!
hehehe, well thank you for your help Griffums, I'll have to make you a nice cake or something
Hey Babbler - there you are!!!! Was asking if anyone heard from you tonite!!! Still on sis's computer?
Hello again!
Griffums - you and me both!!! Amazing how such a little game can be so .... exhausting!!!!
Oh oh, I almost forgot - I brought home a spectacular piece of Chocolate Mountain Cake from dinner. Thank you for reminding me! mmmmph
TitianAngel - a most fitting showing for such a short time!!!! *bear hug*
hi Mamabear! yes, I'm on my sister's laptop! I asked last night if I could just check my bank balance....... so you know, while I'm here, it would be rude not to pop in!! How are you? : D
lol sounds tasty!
aaaarrrrgggh. i was typing the last word of yesterday's puzzle just as the timer stopped. So I almost made it. I think I'll start today's now instead of rushing it.
Hello to all Good Luck
need more than that bucket of cold water over my head - that last half hour of the puzzle was a rush!!! But tiring..... i should go to bed.....
hi Blaze :)
If you go, sleep well Mamabear, and thanks :)
Good luck to you too Blaze!!! Stace - you came soooo close!!!!! Good job!!!
how does you know when you get all the words?
good evening, babbler
*makes cup of tea for Mamabear, puts on desk*
good evening, LesHart! :) (morning here in the UK!)

Babbler - it's 6:15 am by you????? OMG - what are you doing up at the buttcrack of dawn???? It's 12:15am here....
Only 134? Hurrah, I'll have to print it and take it to rehearsal lol
I woke up at 4am, then couldn't get back to sleep, then I started thinking about scrambled eggs and toast, then tea, then finally, close to 6am, I thought I may as well get up as the new puzzle starts then!!! :)
The World Series - baseball - the Chicago White Sox are in it and haven't been in the WS since 1959, haven't WON the WS since 1917!!!!!!!! Very exciting!!!
blaze, how do you find out?
Wow Mamabear! Best of luck!!!!! : ) The atmosphere in Chicago must be amazing!

is it wrong to have a snickers bar for breakfast??.....
brandyjack hasn't posted them for today yet.
brandyjack is late!
tash No not yet.... sometimes it takes a while as Brandy Jack does the posting...
co 6/33...they aren't cheap, ruff
ok thanks
lol
Tash. maybe Brandyjack is still working on them?? Or it could be, he's busy today so won't be able to?? We'll have to wait and see! :)
Babbler- don't be ridiculous. You get protein from the nuts, sugar boost from the caramel, and um chocolate is a plant at some point right?
lol
The chocolate is planted right in my face, mmmph (I told you it was a mountain cake)
4-letter words: 73 X 5-letter words: 36 X 6-letter words: 17 X 7-letter words: 7 X 8-letter words: 1 X
that's exactly what | thought, TitianAngel!! so........ is it wrong to have TWO snickers bars for breakfast....??...........
Babbler there is nothing wrong with having breakfast (wink) LOL
they're just a big bigger than 'fun size', but smaller than normal.....
well, you could always fridge one, and then you'd burn so many calories warming it up ;-) it wouldn't even count, plus think of all that protein lol
a7/28 & a8/40
hrm don't think I've seen that size...
34 down, 100 to go. Would love to stay an feed my new addiction, but I keep dozing off. I'll be back after sleep+work+family goes to bed again.
"they're just a big bigger than 'fun size', but smaller than normal....." Babbler can I borrow this line on my next date? (if I ever have one?)
funny you should say that, they were in the fridge already. so that means I am burning a lot of calories already!!! which means my metabolism is nicely boosted for the last one, which is calling my name....!!! See the thing is, if I don't nab it, my brother will!!!
ROFL Griffums
LOL!!!! Be my guest, Griffums!!! :D
since when are mylar & cetyl not words?

w6/36
your welcome anything to justify chocolate
40...and 2am. I'll return later. Nite All.
hugs, are you still there?
I agree - chocolate is a vital part of any diet - it's soooooo good for you!!! Boosts serotonin levels, promotes good mood, tryptophan something, helps you sleep. It's magic!! It's just sugar I have an issue with..... eek! :)
ummm--- is it obvious I'm a bit sugared-out?? LOL! :D
sugar cane --- natural product --- grow on cane farms, so it's produce probably a vegatable
you say the sweetest things, Queenie! (boom boom!! LOL!) :D
Unsweet chocolate... not so good... need a bit of sugar
ah schucks!!!
I am partial to dark chocolate, like 70% cocoa solids. But there's nothing snickers bars etc!!! :)
Hi all...just settling in for a bit, I think I'm getting capral, so I have the wrist brace on...certainly makes for interersting typing...I think it was tbear the other night who was one-handed...wonder how she did...
The less processed the better... I hate milk chocolate...
keep talking chocolate and i'm going to need some where's that halloween candy???
Can anyone use the "J" yet?
some caffine would be good right now, i'm fading here
Sits beside Babbler & shares some dark chocolate that was hidden in the freezer...
No, no words start with the j today
Dark chocolate? Did someone mention dark chocolate?
"num num num num num!!!" thanks, Jera!! :)
Is the J used at all? Nothing starts with J...
Passes Mirage some dark chocolate...
How do you know the words if it's not posted yet?
Whoo-hoo! Just found my first 7 letter word!!
Right on... thanks! I have a 1/2 lb block from Hershey, PA that I can't open for fear I'll eat it all in one sitting
My daughter went to hershey park for a Girl Scout thing last year... some day I'm gonna go there & get a chocolate body wrap... sounds so decadent...
Tash - if you u/g to babble pro it shows you which letters are used and where abouts in the grid, and tells you how many words.
Mirage - open it and just have one square...... or just two squares..... and that's it!! :)
did ya know that Hershey now makes extra dark choc bars? bought some for my sis, haven't heard if she's tried it yet.
well done Jera!!! even though I'm hyped, I can't find any of the 7s..
keeping it frozen helps me to pace myself... & hides it from the children... they are Philistines...
yeah mirage 1 square thats all
It's the nanochoc... ;>
I buy lots and lots of organic extra dark chocolate. I don't have kids, and most people don't like it, so it's pretty safe!! I have a square or two after dinner. It's too strong to eat more.
ok i give too tired for this going to take "nap" until m daughter gets home back in the am good luck to all
I found the s7 & the h7... I usually need tons of hints to find anything over a 5 letter... must be the nap I took this afternoon...
cya Queenie!
....also, I know it's really good for me, and might even help promote better sleep, so I kind of should try to have some every day...... which spoils the fun, really!! It's not clandestine anymore, it's medicine!!
save me a snickers
Fun vitamins, Babbler!!
*puts snickers bar in fridge for Queenie for later* have a good nap!! :)
I'm too weak... if I open I'm afraid I'll succumb to that delicious aroma and just pig out
exactly, Jera!!! That's why I'm sharing the logic - everybody should have chocolate without guilt!!! What shall I call my campaign? ......
Mirage, it is timely that I have come into your life, eh?? We need to help you have your chocolate! :)
Hey Chocolate Without Guilt should be catchy enough, LOL!
*tries to wake up Anj from his slumber to join in the chat* Hope you read this later, Our Kid!!! :D
Chocolate: It's Not Just for Breakfast Anymore...
.... it's for Life!!! LOL!
Where are you, Babbler? You don't have a flag?
UK. Usually London, but right now I'm in Manchester visiting my Mum....
Ok, so it's first thing int he morning for you perky people... nearly 3 am here in the states...
Not in ALL the states... ;)
yes, it's 7.45am.
.... well, 7.42am, if I'm going to be exact.
Where are you, Griffums? I'm in VA
2:43
I'm in Alaska where it's a respectable 10:45 pm
Alaska, cool! (no pun intended)
akron
2:44 AM here in PA
No pun taken (it's chilly out there).
Alaska! wow!! where's akron?
Jessmom... love your icon... have you seen the movie yet?
ohio
Jera-thanks! Yep, saw the movie the first weekend out. loved it of course! There were more adults than kids in the theater!
morning all from cloudy London :)
Mornin', sherb... cloudy here, too!
It's always cloudy round here for celestial events (mutters furiously about missing Orionids) :<
Hello everyone, how many words today?
morning Sherb!
Well, it's thundering here, so I think I'll take a break at the halfway mark... see you guys in a few hours when the sun's up on my side of the world... happy Babbling!!
morning Babbler! Manchester today, heh? I spent several happy years there as a student, great place :)
see you later, Jera!!! *wraps up remaining chocolate to go back in freezer, to have later with a big pot of earl grey tea*
Kutemee 134
134 words today
sweet dreams Jera :)
134 words today
Thanks Deb
I grew up here, Sherb. In fact, am considering moving back. The 'feel' in Manchester now is how London used to be in the 80s and 90s. It's really buzzing here!
and where do all the words come from?
any help for the S 7's and a 7?
Mikelina, scroll up to Babble Rules, that will explain the game in more detail. Basically, you have to make words of 4 letters of more, they have to be touching, and you can only use a tile once in any word. Do you know how to play Scrabble or Boggle? It's a bit like that. Each letter has a value. So when you see us post messages like T7/40, it means a word that begins with T, there are 7 letters, and the values add up to 10, multiplied by 4 gives a total of 40. I don't recognise your name, so I am presuming you're a newbie??
mikelina...all the letters in the boxes, with exception of v,j,d,m,y,i,u at least no words starting with those letters...forgive me, it's past midnight here :)
thanks for the very detailed info...I do get the general premise, but am in absolute AWE at those of you who get all of the words! yes am a newbie, just the last couple of days have I played.
Welcome!!!!! :D Well, I've been here 2 hours now, I've had 2 snickers bars for breakfast and am really sugared-out, and I haven't found any of the 7s either!!! How are you enjoying the game? Addicted yet??? :)
usually BrandyJack has posted word lists on the BabblersAnonymous site, but perhaps he's delayed this morning, or on holiday?
yup. I find I come back and forth throughout the day and find one or two more, usally thanks to someone's clues.
babblersanonymous?
a/7..... A short aria
2nd letter for the a7 is an r
Deb I thnik we are working the same words LOL
A player called SWMBO set up a chat board type of thing on ezboard. It's called Babblers Anonymous. I think it's the one in the friends of Babble panel on the right of your screen. Brandyjack usually posts the stats for the day's game there. He must be busy this weekend.
check the link on the right side of page, under Friends of Babble...then under the General link there, and then under Stat's Lists for the day...
Anyone found the 8 yet?
I've just spent half an hour reading the log (then looking for choculate!), printing the grid, writing out the number of words starting with each letter, and I've so far found a total of... 0 words! Talk about displacement activity, lol. Going to try those a's first, they're usually my nemesis :)
great clue Debs!!! thanks!
yw :)
Thanks, Deb and HoHum ... I'm new, too, and this is really hard for me :-) I echo Mikelina -- I'm in AWE.
Debs, you just have to make your a7 a plural for the 8....
the 8 is the plural of one of the 7s
pretty amazing that brandyjack.
Debs and Atalante - you rock!
Thanks Debs n' Atalante
Back and forth and strum my lip dribbling....lol
thanks Debs and Atalante - nice to start with some biggies..... 2 down, 132 to go :)
Cheers Atal ... Got it :)
(sadly, those two words in the last 45 minutes are just the amount of variable reinforcement I need to sit here another couple hours...thanks?)
s7/28 extension of s5/10
only 107 to go!! am on a roll with help from my new friends...
Patrice, I don't know about everyone else here, but I don't think the average bear really knows half of these words. You might try www.a2zwordfinder.com for a little help.
great clue, Ho Hum!!! Patrice, Mikelina - not many of us knew all these 'fancy' words when we started!!! I used a2zwordfinder a few times, but I found it spoilt my fun. I love the buzz of deciphering clues and finding words that way. As time goes by, you remember some of them, especially the ones that took ages to find!! :D
This game is certainly a way to learn some new words - fiddling around to make a word out of some of the letters, then finding out it really is a word, then looking up the meaning. Hahaha.
2nd letter for s7/40 is t, composite word
70 for 903, must stop and get on with the day, enjoy the game and see you anon.
aarrgghh! stuck on 13 a's - I have a4x8, a5x2, a6x1, a7x1 and a8x1 - anyone know what's missing, please?
I cannot find the H7. any hints>???? **Pulls hair out by fistfuls**
Sherb there are 2 a6 6/27 and 6/18
Morning all! Couldn't get out of bed this morning... so I am a little late and I am sure all the biggies are found already! ;) I'll try to catch up with you guys.
H7 - hint: a colorless or white material
thanks Ho Hum - I'm on the hunt :)
Yaaaay - thanks mslars
Morning Sprite, and bye all am really going this time!
yw. :-)
Very startrek! Beam me up...
bye Ho Hum, and thanks for the help:) morning sprite:)
thank you, mslars!
hi Sprite!
Thanks everyone, am heading to bed with 41...might be back tomorrow...or later today that is.
Hi Babbler and sherb! Bye mikelina, sleep well. Nice grid!
this size grid is my favourite. small enough to have those pesky obscure words to ponder, and big enough to make a juicy list of words. !!
I'm right with you, Babbler, best of both wor(l)ds!
oooh, very impressive!!! :D
Er... just to be sure: you are positive there are 7s and an 8 in this grid? I am halfway and nothing above 6, lol.
Yup sprite... I've gotten a few of the 7s, and the 8.
yes, there are 7 x 7s, and 1 x 8... and 17 x 6s, ....
Those 6s are no problem :) But I'll find the rest, in time... Wouldn't it be something to have nothing left to find but biggies? First time for everything ;)
4-letter words: 73 5-letter words: 36 6-letter words: 17 7-letter words: 7 8-letter words: 1
yayyy, finally found the t7/40....!!
help w/ t7!!! I cannot locate!
yyayyyy! just found the h7! the t7 is all in the upper middle part of the grid. (is it acceptable to say that? I can't think of a good clue)
yayyy, found the n7...... burning rubber over here! lol!
thanks for the T7 Babbler!
Green with envy here, lol!
sorry, i must be dense. need more help for t7
I've never had anyone green with envy over my progress before, Sprite! LOL! :D
found the t7 thanks to your clue, Babbler...you're on a roll, woo!
59 more words to find and still not 1 biggie! I am having a very blonde day.
just found a nice e5/14 - sounds like a racecourse ;)
good call!!! :)
wsmb's url please
*sniffff* Just thought I found an E7, but "most of a select group" isn't working, apparently.
awwwww *hugs Sprite*
2nd letter help w/ t7?
Sprite if it makes you feel any better that helped me knock off the other two E's (duhhh can't believe I didn't see that)
te7/40 never mind Sprite, we all know you are one of the e5/10! :)
still not seeing that a6/27 - can anyone give a hint please?
ok, I'm after clues for a couple of 7s : the s7/36 and the st7/40. Anyone have any clues for me pls? tvm
LOL! Thanks for the encouragement, all, I really need it today! Jeez, I feel dumb. I figured it would be Te, and still no luck. Doing great with the little ones, though ;)
sherb: a petite aria ???
whoooops!! wrong clue!!!! sorry sorry sorry!
Hey, I got that one, sherb! I think that if I were of the E5/10, I would answer very A6/27 to that. :)
OY! Talk about looking in all the wrong places for the te 7! I was starting to get very te 5/16
st7/40 - do it to your hair + weight less --- not sure of the real definition. :-)
Babbler - st7/40 - sounds hard :)
> starting to get very te 5/16 Now you're on the right track...
its something in early christianity.
yayyy! got the st7/40! anyone got a second letter for the s7/36?
Babbler - sorry, wrong one - st7/40, a member of a 70's group, sang 'Have You Seen Her' (I think) :)
Thanks! That gave me the St7, my first biggie!
may I ask for the 2nd ltr a6 27...and am missing one last a4,somehow ....:(
bliss, finally got that last a - thanks sprite :)
ai 6/27
Glad to be of help. I am still on the wrong track with the T7, though I found a T6 with the clue.
what's this t6?
nm, how blind can one be? Got it, finally :)
Te6/18, alt. spelling of Te5/16
thanks mstar....
yw ;-)
on reflection, the 70's pop group were The St****tics...the st7's were ascetics who live on the tops of pillars, hmmnn, bit if a difference, lol
Eeeuw - I just found those creepy little E's... *shudder*
that's what I thought, Sherb, but then I started to get confused! lol!
92 words. Anyone know the total, please?
134 words today. Hi Zubie!!
Hi Babbler. :D 134? Whoa then I shouldn't despair!
my mind's obviously going, it's probably time I went and did something else for a bit...well, maybe just another half an hour ...
you're doing exceptionally well, zubie!!! I'm at 69 words. After two snickers, I should do better! lol!
Thanks, Babbler. Brain feels bogged down now, though :D
82 words only, and still many biggies to find. I just made breakfast to prod my mind into action :)
hello all! slightly new at this, finished yesterdays at 1155pm, ha! 108 words so far, need any clue for the t7. thanks!
I'm at 92 but half of it is from monkey typing...
83 1000 pts 51 to go...
I've got my 7mth old niece on my knee now..... not sure I'll find many more!! :)
Okay... if the A6 is valid, then why not the H7 you can make of it? All women will agree that there are H7 areas we do not want to discuss, right?
Turn her loose on the keyboard!
She'll find them for you! Monkeytype away, you little one!
*gasp* no way! my sister will kill me!! :)
Oh I am tired - Sprite I took your H7 and set it to the last line of Row Row Row Your Boat
Anyone have a list of the e words? I seem to have found just five of them.
In about 15 years time, she is sitting on the sofa at her therapist's and tells: I was addicted from 7 months on, forced into it by my aunt/uncle :)
6e's, anyone have more?
ROFLOL Griffums!

Life is but a dream...

oh wait...scratch that...my bad. I have 13 a's. ~ i haven't started on the e's yet. :-)
Yeah, my H7 did not work. Haven't found yours so far.
there are 14 a's total

*hunting for that H6 now, to pluralise it afterwards*
yayyyy! thx sprite!!! xxx
Lisa, if you are getting impatient, you are on the right track.

yw! I am better in clues than in finding words today, lol!
yay got all the 7's finally!!
want to try a clue for ha? its giving me a head-ache!
me too!! yayy!! now, what's this o6/33 and a6/27???? :)
wrong one, s28, I need to go to bed!
I'd love to, Lisa. Wouldn't mind the H6 either... can't find it for the life of me. ;(
o5/33 is the plural of the o5/20
o6 33 pl of o5 20
lisa HA make is weigh less then pluralise it
I can give you the a 6/27 breezily...
Er... the O6 is something nonexistent, I see. "hypothetical hydrocarbon radical" Sure... scotty isn't allowed, but some made up radical is?
ha7, combine a laugh sound with doesn't weigh much
Made up radicals? Don't we have enough REAL radicals running around? just sayin
From my mind to your mind... er, fingers, Griffums!
Ah, thanks for the H!
Well, I wish that st clue had gone from your mind to my mind before it went to everyone else's mind. :( I think I have to eat the rest of my chocolate mountain cake.
clue for st 40?
sprite, did you get the s28?
Yeah, I got lost on the block part of that clue. I think I was up on a pillar with the Stylistics.
Griffums - glad I'm not the only one remembers them, lol!
Mslars gave a great clue for the St7: st7/40 - do it to your hair + weight less --- not sure of the real definition. :-) For the block thing: I mean the blocks that form things like this grid.
You bet. Plus the real name in the puzzle would have been a great name for a girl band.
96 words; just four since I spoke last. *hangs head in shame*
could i have a clue for the H4/9 please?
Lisa...think of being fashionable...you'd by in st5...but if it were st7, it would weigh less..as they say
h4/9 - sounds like to do damage to something, but different spelling :)
yeah, chinese spelling ;) I'd say, add an a and you have a game, but I am not sure whether the game is only dutch or not.
got it!! thanks everyone! anyone need a clue for the 7's? i have to go to bed, 515am here. haven't played in months, forgot how addicting it is!!!! 111words, guess i'll check back later.
That gets me a big zonkin zero. Let's face it, I'm just a dork <hanging head lower than zubie>
ha4 9,,,google this: stems of beans and peas and potatoes and grasses collectively as used for thatching and bedding
Googled and yes, it is an internationally known game :)
112, thanks pav3!
And if I never read the word "Oops!" again it would be too freakin soon. just sayin
g'nite all! g'luck!
Sometimes it is in the grid too, Griffums :D I have felt pretty stupid ones, hunting for hours for a word that is right before my eyes every other second.
sweet dreams Lisa :)
can't find the o5/20 either...... :(
*once* Night Lisa, thanks for the help!
Babbler, try a chemical looking ending.
nite Lisa!!!! sleep tight!
Babbler - ends like a dinosaur ;)
Yeah - like an 8-legged dinosaur.
babbler remember those teradac*** flying dinosaurs from the Jurasic park series...what if there were 8 parts
what clever clues!!! I found the o5 and o6!!! ty!! :)
ROFLMAO... I love you guys, some great clues!
Griffums and sherb...we must be eating the same things? or perhaps it's in the water?
Well, the water does feel real warm all of a sudden... I'm concerned.
Griffums...were you drinking from the jacuzzi?
*adds more foam to keep you from embarrassement* Any help on the S7/28? It's my last biggie. Pretty please?
may i ask for the first letter stats pls?
s7/28 sound hard ;)
Ya busted me PAV. But actually, I realize now I don't need the st7 that you have all been talking about because I *did* know it from sherb's original clue with the ascetics on pillars. I didn't need any tweaky hair stuff and weightlessness - I already had that word. Now I don't even know what word it was I was looking for. What. Ever.
morning all, sprite change an s6/27 ending for the s7/28
sand box...join the club....BrandyJack must be on holiday...no stats avail yet..cruise through the log for aids..so far
Hi ferrari, thanks. Looks like a clue for the S7/40 too :) I can make the firstletter stats, give me a mo.
97 words. Shame on me!
well, it was either that or warm beer, and since I don't drink beer, I wouldn't know if that would cause the simultaneous answering or your confusion....
chin up, zubie, only 78 words here! what's this a6/27? (have I already asked?? sorry if I'm repeating myself) :)
A -- 14 C -- 7 E -- 8 H -- 9 L -- 15 N -- 3 O -- 4 R -- 12 S -- 27 T -- 15 W -- 20 (yes, really)
Ianswered you breezily on that one...but it was so vaporous you may have missed it.
Or it could have been the breeze :D
soz griffums, might have been when my niece wanted to play bouncy bouncy! :D
8 e's ee 4 4 ee 4 7 el 4 4 el 5 10 el 6 18 el 4 9 el 4 4 es 5 14

Hi Hugs! I am being so stupid today!
Good morning, Hugs!! how are you?
Nice to see you hugs.
Hi ferrari :)
oooh! Hi ferrari!
Mornin' Hugs...yes, I'm still here....
Hi zubie, how are you doing?
Hi Babbler
and Ferrari...wow we are in the e5 group this a.m.!!
Is there really an es5/14?
81 words and I've hit a wall..... I can do it, I can do it.....:D
Ok I've got four c4, one c5 and one c6. Which one am I missing?
I thought I'd do the right thing and get a good night's sleep... but here it is, 4:30 a.m. and I've been tossing and turning for the past 2 hrs... so I figured... might as well be Babbling!
I'm good, ferrari. Struggling to reach 100. :D On 98 now.
Babbler, yes you can
another c5
hugabugs, we're in the same boat!
Ok. Thanks Sprite.
I am starting to feel lonely. Two in the jacuzzi, two in the same boat... where does that leave me? ;)
grab a paddle!
on the patio with me, sprite! :D
You can be in my boat sprite
*paddles fervently towards Une*
That's even better, Babbler! Thanks :)
A clue for that c5, Sprite? Please? :D
y/w sprite! care for tea and scones, darling??
Now that would be lovely! As a hobbit fan I never turn down a second breakfast :D
Zubie...ce5 or co5
mmmm second breakfast! what a good idea!
c's for the taking... ce 5 14 ce 4 6 co 5 14 co 4 6 co 6 33 co 4 9 co 4 6
Got it, PAV! Thanks!
Second breakfast!!!! *toddles off to put giant Babble Kettle on*

LOL Ferrari! :o
It is getting very Co4/9 on your patio, Babbler :D
Thanks for the C's Pav... that ce5 is a bit different.
What's a clue on the ce5? (I'm just trying to pretend I'm still in this - sooo sleepy and I ate enough chocolate L-tryp to stun a longshoreman...)
I've got an n4 and n5 which is related to the 4. Clue for the last n please?
What fantastic clues you are sharing tonight!
Oh, what a nice W6/36! We have another rhyming grid today... if she starts talking A6, you better approach her W6...
*puts patio heater on* *brings big pots of various teas* ok, what are you all having with your scones, jam and cream?? I have earl grey, PG Tips, posh Assam and Roibush!
Just keep right on going zubie, collect the whole s--...
Zubie compound word n7..begins with your n4
N7 to keep your hands tidy
Roibush?
went to get dressed...hello Hugs and ferrari :) Roibush for me please Babbler...don't know what it is but I'm game for anything ;)
or is it spelt rooibush? it's African, also called Bush Tea. Naturally decaffeinated!
It's rooibos :) But wouldn't know the english spelling.
Need the caffeine, so pg tips please, no sugar
I can't remember how it's written on the box. It's just lovely and that's all I care about! :D
Ha! Great clues! Thanks :D
Sprite... you know how there's always a word staring at you .. well, today Harriette won't leave me alone...
LOL! I keep seeing stylee! Wish it was a word! :)
You too, Hugs? I have the same thing, keeps coming up. I tried variants of it until my fingers hurt when hunting for those H6/7 :)
I've got the big a's, but why no aillettes?
And that was 101! Now on to the l's of which I have 7!
Shouldn't that have 2x L?
I need 3 more Rs and then I will be finally done! This grid twisted my mind in new and exiting ways, lol... or I got up on the wrong side of my wits this morning.
which am i missing in the wee hours of the morn? oc 5 14 oc 5 20 oc 6 33
Didn't mean to put 2 l's in the post, my scrabble bookonly has the single L

Well, I'm getting nowhere and you're all leaving me behind with my pitiful little 95 words anyway. Yes, that's me - back there in the dust. It's 2 am and time for good little girls to go to sleep. And also me.
Os5: small openings or orifices, as in a body organ or passage, or in sponges. It's a familiar one in the babble grids.
Babbler...bone disease in older folks....os***perosis...change the two end vowels...

Good morning Ferrari and all. Got 50 on my own but definitely grateful for yours and Sprites lists now. Thankyou
babes, you're asking for too much, the idea of the game is to find the words with only small clues, anything more defeats the object of playing, rather like cheating at crossword puzzles by looking at the answers all the time
hello
Okay, I posted stats at babblers anonymous, I think it worked out ;) Don't have 2nd letter stats and such, my program doesn't make them.
Hi Trotters, nice to see you again, together again in yesterday's finishing list, I wonder why it's invariably trotters, ferrari, Anj
thanks Sprite...we'll see what we can do for the later crowd...
Ferrari, maybe we're triplets separated at birth! but then I've seen Anj's photo so don't think so!!! sorry, Anj only joking

I just found them Pav
Hello all. Am soooo tempted to play today; already have 90+ words to put in, but am off in non-Babble land where there are noooo computers(!) for the weekend and can't leave an unfinished grid for fear of dropping down the rankings faster than a brick-booted budgerigar. So, happy Babbling folks. See ya! x
Yup. The last one I got is a weird one - got it by monkeying around with the letters. It has no def but is almost identical to one of the others which is a type of currency (old).
Just need 2 more S's and I'm done.
Thx Beepbeep! I got that one :)
beepbeep..yep, I had that on my list but not keyed..just need one more then Hugs? already? of course my puter is acting stragnely,,not letting come here and there wihtout logging back in, what a pain...
The other one that took a while to find means "in place of" - it's a relatively common word - I was just looking in the wrong direction!
thanks beepbeep, so many strange words
Hey all :) How's it going?
Afternoon Mi... (just)
Hi miyavi

Ooh, so polite...good afternoon, Jooboz :) Hey Ferrari :) Pav...not hiding, more shaking with withdrawal symptoms as the computer refused to connect to broadband :(
yes..but I can't always be at work using the very nice ones.:((
...and I make it 12:40 :)
Know what u mean PAV - The Technology Policy where i work forbids any games, but my screen is a nice big one (such a waste!!)
Anyone got an S list... I only have 4 to get
I'm down to 1 S6/27 missing....I'll put mine together and maybe someone can help me figure out what I'm missing.
yeah...they tried that on us when we were given spanking new ones in June, but we knew better!! nowadays, I'm lucky if I do "work" !!
Good morning everyone. I'm ready to start babbling!

How do you do the lists pav?
ferrari - I imagine we could actually do it... just edit our word lists and post that.
Well, not done yet but I have to get to work. Maybe Poo can find a few (if she ever wakes up). Good luck everyone!
iwas going to copy my list to Notepad...cut the words down to 2 ltrs and re-post onto Anon
but once you've done it, on notepad presumably, how do you get it to the message box?
Good morning everyone, I'm missing one A word, if I post what I have, would someone lead me in the right direction?
Ferrari and Pav - I'm working on it now. Then I'll post it to Anon!
Hugabugs - will need leading to this site please! How can Brandy Jack fail us?
pezzie, there's an a list at 5.22
But how do you post it to anon? We could share the job if I knew how

Alleyn...Ferrari et al...link to the BabblersAnon site is on the right side under "friends of babble"...click on General thread when you get there, then Stat's List within that...that's where Jack was posting them ..I hope he's only on Holiday this weekend and not something worse...eventually it had to happen...at least it wasn't on the big one the other day!!
Ok - list is posted
PAV I know how to get there, it's posting a list there from notepad that I don't know how to do
ferrari - I copy my list onto Notepad... edit out the extra letters, than copy and paste it into Anon.
btw - that was my first Anon post!
Okay...aaaand I'm back
Well - I'm off for a wee bit of sleep. Have a great day everyone.

Hi all - just a quick babble - will hopefully finish tonight. See theres been some speculation re brandyjack, butreading in babblers anon, I think some people want him to post later in the day as they feel the stats make the game to easy. Personally I need all the help I can get, but that may be the reason he hasn't posted yet.
Congratulations Pav! Hey Snowy :)

Hi everyone still struggling on the 3rd Wi5/16. I've got the opposite of black & what a flower does when not watered? I only need this one so that I can unchain myself from the desk!!!
Paddy, Used to express sorrow or anxious concern.
please explain terminology when you ask for letters and numbers
'morning all -- long time, no babble :)
Shana, wi5/16 simply means: wi - first & second letters 5 - number of letters 16 - total points score It's 16 because 5 means double face value. 6 = x3, 7 = x4 etc
Greetings Sproing :)
thanks Boysaway, that will point me in the right direction :-)
Hi Sproing - more reasonably sized grid today!
Hiya! Any food fights so far today? I saw the grid yesterday but alas that daytime thing that I have to do which pays the bills has been somewhat time-consuming this week
No fights at all yet Sproing! but don't hold your breath!
Hi sproing :)
Boysaway, I'm deeply grateful :-) I can now go and get on with other things. Thanks everyone for previously posted clues.

flapjacks sound good. I have the maple syrup.
:) mocha with the trimmings please Snowy :)
sherb -sounds like a plural of the currency
joelgee and snowy, I think flapjacks mean different things to you. Joel means pancakes and snowy means oatie type cookies, right?
Thanks guys for the clue on a6.
Learn something new here everyday I never knew of flapjacks as anything but pancakes...
That's what I was thinking. However, if you have the oaty type cookies--like oatcakes, I'll survive. Ran into them in Nova Scotia. Another thing I didn't need to know about--kind of like Babble.
coffees coming up!!!! Help yourselves to a little addition - what grandma would have called a winter warmer - brandy ? whisky?
flapjacks are *pancakes*? In America? Wow - never knew that!
speed, I also call little pancakes flapjacks. The brits call them drop scones I think?
Hi Guys just a quick visit! :)
Yes oaty cookies is what they are here! Had porridge oats to use up. Trouble is I can't stop eating them!
Ooh whiskey please snowy! :)
Hey sis, how you doing?!
Hi Lotti :) Seems you're only ever about for a quickie recently hun ;)
The things you take for granted. If only world leaders would play Babble, instead of babble, they might learn a little bit about other cultures. Editorial done. Off soapbox.
Oh cute lotti! coffe with a drop of the hard stuff? Lola we call the drop scones pikelets! We could probably fill the log with all the different names for thing!
joelgee- here, here!
snowy - thanks for the clue to the last li4.....and you're making me want to make some flapjacks now, lol :)
Hey Lola......supposed to be my big night out tonight, but i`m too poorly to go :(
Mmmph. Mmmph. <oaty cookie crumbs falling into keyboard>

We don't usually have hot water bottles, what about a heating pad..?

the st 5/16 is from the madonna song "she's got st***, she's got grace, bette davis gave good face"
sherb-- I like it.

Sire I beg to differ! The number of games not completed due to hilarities.....!!! or ability to type due to laughter :)
Any clues for the st7/40?
mac: Lola said she forgave me, just watching real close, but with you on my side I feel safe:)) Noone messes with Mom
Any clues for wy 4 / 10 or wy 5 / 22? I have the one wy 4/10 which sounds like another word for during.
*guiltily hides rubber chicken, fish, large feather and pulls the curtain to hide the custard pool* The evidence is, at best, circumstancial... lol :D
Hydra st7/40 sounds like they should have signed with Motown. Word is compoiste - where pigs live and diet drink?
robert240, rhymes with your te5/16
hydra st7/40 early Christian ascetic
hydra - clue at 3.20 :)
...er, circumstantial :/ Babble has got all my spelling muddy bloodled up :)
Anj you are going to have to get a bigger cupboard to hide things in - it is really getting full up
Oh! Brilliant clues. Ta muchly!
hydra sounds like something you're bathed in while dressing up!
I agree FMitch, there's nowhere to put the costumes either!
Glad to know youv`e made thing OK again. This makes me feel better.
Anj - new feature coming to babble is the bable fish - then we will all be able to understand all of our "mis" typings.
Could someone give me a gentle shove in the direction of the ra6 please?
Lola you have the whole of the west wing for your costumes - how much more space do you need!?!
Get caught up in all the chatter and someone asks for a clue...oh yeah the game LOL
Oh boy do I need one of those fish.
Costumes?? Given what everybody has been wearing recently they are not going to take up much more space than a large hankie... :)
Lola ra 6 - me ;) lol
LOL! Good point babe :D
lol, cute and you're right
lola - ra6 - there aren't many of them ;)
Lola Scarcity or few of a kind.
Thx Anj saw the word as soon as I read your clue!!!
Greetings and salutations everybody...Heeeeeerrrrreeesss movieman!!!!!!!!! I desperately need cluez and/or definitions for all the li4's...'cos I need to know which one I'm missing...a small lake's worth of champers and a box of chocs the size and volume of the White House for the first fellow Babbler to assist me in these dark times for the Rebellion... Gracias...
LOL! Thanks guys. And babe, won't tell you which word I looked for first!
...or am I un6?? Hmmm...I hate getting all existential on a Saturday *Anj spluts himslef with a custard pie* Better! :)
Also, the one li4 I'm missing ISN'T listed on A2Z as far as I can see...
himslef ??? ROFL
Anj.Perhaps Rincewind would let you borrow his walking trunk. If I remember correctly it could hold any quantity.Or don`t you visit Discworld?
Hello from Cape Cod Mass. The Real American Hero is now on line. Great day all.
The trick is getting hold of enough sapient pear wood and then letting the luggage know you're friendly. Tha's the real trick.
aha.. back online.. PC HD died
movieman - it's an acronym for a Research Institute in South Africa, relating to the leather industry ;)
LOL! Macadam - refresh, refresh! I've been waiting for an opportunity to use The Luggage :) Go Sapient Pearwood :D *Anj blushes furiously at Lola's earlier comment* Thanks babe ;)
RAHRAH I live in Kingston, MA where on the Cape?
B-Bay Onset area.
FMitch...I told you Babble has diddled with my spelling. It looked quite innocuous at frist, but tehn it bogan to ...ack!
Much better than a handbag Anj!!!
God bless the Two Ronnies
Nice area..cloudy cool day good day to babble
hello every1! :) how many words today? guessin bout 100
Hi Tbug - higher ;)
133
OK I know there are 3 st6/18 looked back for clues, been monkey typing no luck clues pls..
Try 134 !
speed - there are only two, and they're both related to the things the st7's sit on ;)
Only 2 st6/18 and both build from the st5/10.
Speed One st6 sounds like a girls name eg Paul Mccartneys daughter.Another is an upright stone with text eg Rosetta stone
Hi all showered, dressed & ready to go! Speed st6s 1. that look in your eye 2. think small pigs home 3. think twinkly things in the night sky with a single 4th consonant
thanks snowyowl! *sneezes* (ugh, I hate colds)
*hands sproing tissue* Bless you :)
thanks lola *blows nose and scares the cat*
Thank you all!!! Got them...
yw sproing! I 'm just getting over some fluey thing but no sneezes just achy with a cough. I never got chest infections before I gave up smoking!
snowy: missed it where are you going???
is the "v" used at all?
Not goimg anywhere spped =- Just got dressed for the 1st time today. The litlies mum has taken them to the cinema so I've just not dressed!
I've got a horrible sore throat and the sniffles -- feels like I smoked a whole pack last night but I didn't (since I'm not smoking anymore)
oops caught the babble spelling thing! You'll just have to guess the unreadable bits!
(living in the USA is very helpful when giving up smoking!)
Ouwachita -- no V words today
Its getting that way here too sproing - I've not missed it too much really and it has got way too expensive for me now.
Does anyone have a clue for wy 5/22? Online hugs will be provided to the he/she who provides assistance.
Sproing, that's just Philip Morris thanking you for your previous patronage...
rhymes with lites
Hey, Dylan! Daddy here at work. Just wanted to say HI. Keep trying! Love, Dad
wy5 plural of wy4
lol Anj :)
snowy and sproing: still have the habit, did you use anything to quit or just willpower (lacking on my part), need to do something too expensive and nasty
ever sit with one word left to go stumped, only to realize that you just mis-typed it over an hour ago?....
Thanks Snowy. *ohro looks at floor and tries to avoid eyecontact after missing a plural word* online hug for you......
Does anyone know what time the L list was posted?
I started going out with a Californian who hates smoking (and later married him), plus you can't smoke in any public place in Boston now (including bars) -- which is helpful. Mostly willpower though. And being a poor grad student :)
ooh, my husband had his wisdom teeth removed and quit smoking cause he couldn't suck on them! try that...
Online hug for you too ouwachita....
although I'm not a student anymore... but going outside to smoke in subzero temperatures is also a put-off.
Hello all...how's the weather?
I'm in process, I use these little tablets, they are $2.50 a box, called Ariva or Stonewall, they really, really curb the cravings.
They are nicotine tablets, taste like tic-tacs.
Queen: the weather is crappy in New York. : )
This is the 3rd time in 15 years for me! I used a patch for 2 days and 1 fell off and I hadn't noticed so I just went cold turkey then. I did feel really rotten for about 6 months afterwards but I am beginning to feel I might live now! If I get a pang I find a smoker and do a bit of passive smoking! But I don't feel like a smoker any more - strange but true!
good luck bunnyvicious!! it's worth it! (although I do miss it...)
It wouldn't be so hard if the twins would just start kindergarten!!!
snowyowl, that's what I do too :)
Thankyou ohro I need all the hugs I can get!
la\4\4 li\4\4 na\4\4 na 5\10 ra\4\4 ra\5\10 st\ 5\10 te\4\4 ti\4\4 wa\4 7 wa\4\7 ***that is all i have***
I have to do something, my family would be thrilled
K, I'm done, back tomorrow, luck all! Have a great Saturday!
Really, try those Ariva. WWW.goariva.com. Or Stonewall, same things.
Congrats Bunnyv: time for some laundry 27 left BBL:)
see you later bunnyvicious!
You have to do it on your own terms speed. I used to buy extra cigs on no smoking day and smoke for spite in front of the telly! I have grwon up a little since then. I hate people making you fell guilty tho' - I also married a non smoker.
ohromujici--weather is pretty bad here in N. Carolina. Cloudy
congrats bunnyvicious!
I am missing 3 w's, anyone have a list, or know where one is posted?
Snowy - I am so with your last posting. I stopped in May with patches and havent had a cig since and no huge cravings either (bearing in mind I was a 40+ a day). Still can't believe I have actually done it.
nice one FMitch!!!
complete lists are posted at Babblers Anonymous - there's a link on the right-hand side of the page :)
right side of screen. Babblers Anonymous. Click it. Then click "General". You'll see list for today.
I can go all day at work and when out with friends (since smoking is banned in public) sadly in my car and house I make up for it big time!!
ha7/40 has me stumped -- any clues?????? THANKS
Spriong - smoking in UK v expensive too about US$8.50 a pack so saving is happy bonus.
wa 4 7 wa 5 16 wa 4 7 wa 4 7 wa 5 16 wa 4 7 wa 4 10 wa 6 36 wa 4 7 wi 4 7 wi 5 16 wi 4 10 wi 4 7 wi 5 16 wi 4 7 wy 4 10 wy 5 22
more than one rock salt
Patrice - ha7 40 begins with a laugh and ends in diet drinks :)
speedfreak best way I know _ my father was very ill in hospital at Christmas over thirty years ago. What do you buy a dying man? So I asked and he said please stop smoking - worked for me - not had one since!
Patrice - plural of ha6/27. Sounds like bad breath
dylan go to http://p105.ezboard.com/bbabbl ersanonymous click on GENERAL it's the 4th link down BABBLE STATS 22 OCTOBER
wow, hadn't realized that it was so expensive in the UK now! you should treat yourself with the money you're saving :)
Not ready to quit again yet. But tired of shelling out big bucks for cigs. Started making my own. Cheaper. Better tobacco. No additives.
Snowy I have 2 wy 4/10 and wy 5/22
thank you for the posting snowyowl, and thank you joelgee for the great site. I didn't know that existed. Thank you both.
Thank you Carp & Sherb -- finally got them!!
Oops just realised my list was incomplete! Sorry there are 3 more ws!! a quick way to babblers anon is in the friends of babble box on the right of the screen.
time for me to be elsewhere...thanks for all the chat and clues everyone, and happy babbling :)
sherb. later.
bye sherb.
'bye sherb :)
t'ra sherb!
I've been stuck at 95 for about 20 minutes. I'm about ready to throw in the towel. I may have to stop for a while, then come back.
could I get a clue for the wa 6/36 pleeeeeeease?
see you later Queen - don't give up
Speed - the thing that did it for me was I finally felt all the pieces of the jigsaw had fallen into place and that is what worked for me - it is no good trying to give up if you are not ready.
wa 6/36 -- on guard; watchful
no mom ur not allowed
thank you sproing.
I second that FMitch
yw :)
Sheila: Approaching something with great caution.
I had another variation of the word in my head and couldn't get it to work. Thank you both. I got it.
Ah, I appear to have finished. Must have spent a few minutes looking for non-existent words lol :/ I shall cease forthwith :)
congrats Anj!
Well done babe! :) xxx
Good job, Anj.
Wondered why you had been so quiet Anj - well done.
Cheers folks :) The brain wasn't up to multi-tasking today. My RAM is preoccupied with something else... lol :)
Does anyone have al 4/4? I have the one that means leeward, the one that means an upper octave and the one that means to settle to the ground after a flight.
Finished. Last word was that really stupid N7 word!
...how about that one that means too ?
could someone tell me what is the total words for today's puzzle?
Thanks Anj. I didn't have that one. -O
That was my last one too Atalante. One of those noodle-friendly but not so obvious nasties :/
The Luggage! May it follow you everywhere.
134, Jane.
thanks!
One more to go ... then I'll have finished for the first time ever!
stupid stupid N word *mutters about proper words and stupid put-together babble words*!
Joel, it does, although this one does not yet bear the powerful travelling rune, TWA :)
Congrats! Patrice
Well, I still do have to figure out that darn last word ... se7/36 ... it's killing me.
A clue please for the second wi word
Macadam, as in plant that's not watered?
a plant wi**s if it isn't watered...
Patrice - combine an se4/6 and a ti 4/4, take out a redundant t and there you have it!
Patrice se7/37 a mineral that can be cut sounds like a religious animal!
Patrice, if something looks like an ant or spider, it would be called ins....... Drop the in :)
Thanks Anj.I had that written down in the wrong place I must mean wi in 5th place.
Ah...place on Merseyside? without the last L...
HoLola? :) How are you doing babe??
Anj, I'm trying to figure out your clue... :) (I'm from Merseyside)
Okay :) Trying to get a mail off :/
Patrice oops that should be se7/36
Time to go, thanks everyone especially Anj.Nite to you all.See you tomorrow.
'bye mom :)
Bye Lola.
Have a Great Night Macadam:) Thanks for your help!!!
YooHoo! I did it -- thank you, all.
'nite Macadam :) Hang in there babe ;) I'm off to do some food. Back later
nice job Patrice! congratulations
Patrice: Awesome, feels good to finish:)
Well done patrice
Okay babe, should be there for you when you get back :)
Well done patrice! :)
hi is the ar 7/28 and ar8/40 a carry on from ar 6/18
roncook no - think singing
Someone described the ar7/28 and 8/40 as being 'little arias'. They remind me of the name of a character in the Borrowers.
sproing...alas, I have never been anywhere near merseyside and I need that wi5/16 too :(
think old lettuce
ohrom....not the blacks in your eyes, but the wy....
lola one wi 5/16 is like a color(less) wi 5/16 sounds like werrrr
wi5/16 - I did get it from Anj's clue, but if you think of the noise that a helicopter makes, take out the h and add an a, you should have the word.
ahh, I know what it is -- in fact, it's actually where I'm from... ok, it's a peninsula that is part of Merseyside -- Birkenhead and Wallasey are towns in it... the wi5/16 is it's name but without the last consonant
I should add, it's an a at the end.
Thanks guys!
Lola - it makes a change to be helping you!
down to my last word...
haz thanks for the borrowers clue
You're welcome, Ron.
Well haz, I'm down to my last 6 and they are doing my head in! May be begging for more help soon :)

OK. Back again. That didn't take as long as I thought it would. Now what's this about a jacuzzi party I wasn't invited to? I'm so sad. Any chance of catching the tail end? It's raw, damp, and chilly here. I could stand a nice jacuzzi.

So I'm late getting started on this game, but can't miss that brown-eyed boy's game. I'm a pushover for brown eyes after my own four blue or green eyed children.

Good. I've just managed to complete the grid, so if there are any words I can help with, please let me know. I'll be heading off to bed soon.
Congratulations Haz. I'm struggling with the longer words; may I have a clue for the na7 please?
na 7 is a combo of two separate words
the first part of na 7 is na 4 4
The na 7/28 is a peculiar word! Think of a manicurist's complete collection. It builds off na4/4
The na4, yes? I'll noodle a bit with that. Thank you kindly.
I could use help with TE 5/10. There are 3 and I have two. I have the sesame oil and the botanical term.
do they recycle puzzles?
harpjane...I'm missing the same one!
doesnt this puzzle seem familiar, i think its the same as one from last week
te5/10 - think snakelike creatures te5/10 - a plant sore te 5/10 - follow the te with the first three letters of the country now known as Thailand (I think!)
anyone?
snoozyJ - it's not exactly the same but sometimes you do find that grids have the same words over and over again. Etna and feta are common though missing in today's puzzle.
thanks haz...though i still saqy it looks VERY similar
does anybody have a word list?
Aeon and Erst are common as well. those are two of the first words i look for in every grid.
JoyLee - if you look under friends of Babble at the right hand side, there is a link to babblers anonymous. There, under general, you will find a stats list for today's puzzle, giving second letters and values. It's easy to print off.
howdy... first timer here... virgin babbler! having fun reading all the messages... got a question are words in all different languages in this thing or only english?
They are English words, but there are lots of very unusual ones, along with foreign words which have crept into general usage in English.
THANKS! I'll keep looking!
Hi everyone. I need one more wi 5/16. I have the ones for limp and the color (pl. & spelled weird)
not you- yeah they are all supposed to be english, but there world of babble does sometimes seem to lapse into Klingon.
peri, thanks for the clue, actually got it, couldn't figure out the math clue though :0)
Nevermind. Found it. wi 5/16 is an Irish word used to express sorrow or concern
having trouble with st5/16, not the one that implies fashion sense
Need help with ce 5/14? Thanks!

Of or relating to a stylus. The end rhymes with star.
I am no where near finishing. This is my first time really playing babble. This is really challenging.
no, got the wintry sl 6, need the st 6/27 below to swirl and mix
Full second letter lists available at Babblers Anonymous.
This is only my 5th time, but I have finished 2 in a row. You'll get it.
Allstart- take the last letter off of your first st 5/16 and add an ar.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE FOR OC5 20 AND OC 6 33? PLEASE.....
Good job LeslieAnn! Soon there is going to be some kind of fireworks display (or something) whe you finish! I still have 13, will I make it?? : - /
what do you need erin
suel, sorry the definition is the best i can do (this and its plural): A hypothetical hydrocarbon radical regarded as an essential residue of octane
a bunch of te's: 5/10 (2nd and 3rd ones), and te 6/18.
help with ai 6/27 please?
THANKS LESLIE ....
ai 6/27: in a breezy way.
the te 6/18 is someone who takes a "quiz"

thanks, hand over the fish please.lol
why doesn't my 5 (balloon stuff) register?????
the third te 5/10 is both a scientist and a "unit of magnetic flux density" (why couldn't you get that one?!)
the 2nd te 5/10 is the plural of "A pustulelike sorus formed on the tissue of a plant infected by a rust fungus and producing teliospores"

Any clues for st7/40? My last word.
ma: the beginning 4 letters are the same, plus another ending you've used (think- not heavy)
mab* sorry my keyboard is dying
it rhymes with the windows on your roof that let light into your house
Bless you Titian and Leslie -- I could not see it, I still can't see it! Many thanks.
That's ok Titian, I'm undoubtedly old enough to be your mother.
lol!
Well I still ought to get new batteries, it makes playing somewhat difficult...
Hallo all - clock's ticking!
Just add a few laugh lines to my icon. My laptop hasn't been the same since I let a 12-year-old use it. The s is problematic.
shhh don't tell it that! I still have 30 words to find!
:) I typically have icons turned off, but peeking- that's a sassy one ;-) I love the red. And yes, 12 year olds can be somewhat... distressing to fine mechanics
help with the na 7/28 please?
If you have all 10 na 4/4 then you'd have a ___ of na 4/4 (then put them together)
or just na 5 plus a vowel and a consonant
thank you! i never would have gotten that on my own!
You're welcome (and indeed, to be honest, I figured it would get rejected when I tried it, I was very surprised lol)
gang..I'm off again. did my best with 2 hours and no a2z tonight. got 99. just read through all the clues i could. thanx again.
Good night miss. And good for you! Is the middle ri 5/10 staring me in the face and I'm just blind?
Titian it's just the plural of the ri 4/4 preceding.
hrm maybe I'm not missing the one I think I'm missing. Because you can't have an s on the preceding 4/4
Maybe you're missing one of the 4/4s still?
oops I'm missing the first one I guess
No I'm not, perhaps I've just gone mad.
Of the 7 ri's, 6 are sing/pl pairs. The fifth ri in the list stands alone.
Or perhaps I am dense and misanswered your question. No time to ponder.
Yes, I'm missing the middle ri 4/4 and 4/5, so I'll keep looking, I think learned too much today ;-) My brain is full
no pondering necessary, I thought I had typed them in earlier. Hate when I do that.
How many words in total? Hi again!
134 (14 to go!!!)
134? Yippee! I'm done then!
Woo hoo zubie! <applause>
How did you get 14 words in two minutes?????
*confetti for zubie* ~`~`~ (that does not look like confetti...) 12 to go! Agh I feel the pressure!
Lol! Not 14 words in two minutes! I've been here an hour. I left off at 108 and have been silently battling since I logged back in. Then I looked at the total and wondered whether the reason I couldn't find more words was because I'd already found them! :D
aah...sorry, "I confuse the cook!! "
....only 125 to go!!!!!
are there any words with that durn ''J"???
Nope. No J, no OJ, no J.Lo. Just say no to J.
lol Becoz, that's the spirit. ANd no, no j words. Also, who wants to aidez-moi with the se 7? A teeny iota of a hint please?
hahahahahaha!
Woooooohoooooo! 134, I can't believe I have finished 2 in a row! :-D
Titian it extends the se 4/6 above it, um, with the material used for bathroom floors.
se 7/36: combine one-sixtieth of a minute with the material on your bathroom floor.
*virtual cake for you both* Thank you!
thanks for the cake! virtual champagne for all! (wish I had some for real)
mmmm yummy. Alas, I have no real cake tonight but the memory of last night's cake will sustain me.
Mandang araw!
Magandang araw o gabi sa inyong lahat!!
4 st words to go and then I am done! *frantic staring at letters*
Do you know what you're missing? (in the puzzle I mean) as far as the combos?
what st ones do you need?
The 5/10 followed by the 2 6/18 and then another 5/10 between 2 4/4 *continue staring*
To start, the 5/10 is a misspelling of the famous woman's name Brando shouted in Streetcar. The two 6/18's just add a different letter onto it.
dang got a late start only got 11 words :(
nevermind I had the 5's. Why am I having typing issues?
YAY! I thought I had tried the second 6, but never would have thought the first to be a word! *throws arms around neck to hug you!* Wait, I'm still missing two? EEK!
Which two? We have LOOOOOOTS of time
I don't know lol!
st 6/18, take your 2nd 5/10 and add one letter.
those two 6/18s were the ones I needed help with!
HELP! Need one ha4 to finish..have mercy! have what comes outof the sky; what grows on your head; word for healthy...
Dang... Puzzle closed as I was typing my last word!
