GW - besides, I thought you said you just started this game yesterday (now 2 day ago?) - how'd you get so smart so quick (another q word!!!)
(embarassed flush, eyes looking down) ...that doesn't enter into it... No actually, I only know because I had an insomnia attack last night. And I'm still here bec I wanted to have a few words too...(defiant grin)
GW - a sly wolf you are.
I live my name...
I see. This is so silly... I am sooo tired, but I have one brain cell that is insistant on finding that p 7/44!!!! Like THAT's gonna hapen!!!!!!
I completely empathize... I gonna give it 5 minutes then really go to bed
Evening all, trying to keep my eyes open for a little while and see what I can find

Hey Griffums - gotta tell you before i go - I finished the last 153 worder - the first one I finished that was over 50 words!!!!! Now I know what the White Sox felt like yesterday!!!!!
Awesome - I got it too but only by staying up until 1:30 in the morning and with a lot of pushing and pulling by babblers to get me there!
I finished it 3 minutes before it closed!!!!
Congrats MAMABEAR!!! I know it is late for you but I will still toast to you (it's only 10:30 here) *tink cheers*
Ok, now I can go to sleep for real. I got it too!
I'm sure I'll feel properly stupid when I finally see what the Alaskan clue was, especially if it relates to the oilpatch (been there done that).
Thx Schroeder!!! Never to late for a toast!!! (mamabear goes to kitchen to get glass..... damn... trips on dog ... puts on lite..... apologizes to dog....ok you pourin????)
YEAH GW!!!!!! You can toast with Schroeder and me!!!

It's a nice thought but I do have to really go now. I've got 50 words already, but my cats are begging me to clean out their litterbox. I'll be back tomorrow night. *salute my peers and drain glass* TTFN
wolf cleaning cat litter box... funny oxymoron
me too GW.... and you are 15 words ahead of me!!!! til tomorrow..... *tips glass high.... mmmmm*
Nite GW, looks like the jacuzzi will have to wait, so tired wouldn't want to pass out in it....
It's what makes the world such an enjoyable place to live, Tbug
not really tho... wolves are gentle giants once you learn about em, wonderful beautiful animals :)
Love to talk to you more re:Wolves, Tbug but must sleep now. Good night to all
And they are very adept (? I can't tell if anything is spelled right anymore) at giving clues!!!!!

hi & bye schroeder - sleep well!
I will sleep well only 61 words left...*head hits keyboard again*
Oh dang, Schroeder left just when I found SNOKAP too!
then you can sleep happy :) just don't let the grid keep swirling round in your head!
sw 5 22, i just got it and i never heard of it before
Griff you are little stuck on the Kap tonite.... are you a bit cold.... or keeing the brain cells warm LOL
Probably the former, the snow is creeping down the mountains pretty quickly now and we got a dusting on the street tonight on my way home, but just barely. I can't believe we got to the end of October without snow.
I like the snow.... if only it would not go on the roads... when I was up north snowy roads were not a problem but down here it is stay at home time...
it's 32 degrees in northeast ohio
OK 5/20 just for griff
blabbel - 34 here in Oberlin. where you?
So what's the deal with the white 5 at the bottom of the K? I read the Babble rules, and did not see anything about it.
boat..... the grid tiles had to be changed because of hasbro request.... it was done two nights ago....
boatierra - the 5 is the point value of the K, just like in scrabble.
boatierra -- the tiles were recently redesigned; you may have to empty your cache or refresh a few times to get a matching set of tiles. They all should look like your K.
Sorry I drifted away again, like the snow. Thanks for the ok 5/20 Blaze!
It is so fitting for tonites grid... for yoou Griff
Yeah, Blaze, the ok5 is a great word. I love your pumpkins icon.
hello Mab.... how are you...??
Hmm, but no HANDYKAP or ANDYKAP okay I'll put a kap on it
Trying to do this with a migraine, Blaze. I need to go to bed and let it pass, but a new babble is hard to tear oneself away from.
:((( oh, migraines are awful - I've been lucky not to have had one in almost a year. So sorry.
Mab best to take yourself to bed.... the babble will still be here.... the computer screen will do you no favors with a migraine....
The K on my board is the only one with a white letter at the bottom. Its the first time I've seen this. And every time I refresh it comes up the same way. No biggie. Just interesting to note. Thanks for the info.
It's a waxing and waning thing, this headache, but you're right, will stop staring at this very soon. Griffums, I don't get these very often. If I take Excedrin right away I can sometimes escape it.
mabs - look after yourself - migraines are nasty beasts - feel better tomorrow :)
Mab have you tried a cold pack on the back of your neck...??
Me too - a big dose of excedrin ahead, but I get a clear aura so I know it's coming. Hey I just found today's fish in the puzzle!
Good night, all -- 35 to go.
Fish word letter please Griff (wink)
It starts with an H and it has no kap!
well, that's half way now & time to get everyone up & ready for the day - uuugh, groaning moaning teenagers! good luck all & maybe see you later :)
'night nan -
You're all so sweet, thank you. It will go away soon and yes, thanks, Blaze I do have ice.
I get migraines all the time. This is what I do to help get rid of it: proper hydration (dehydration can cause a migraine), take an OTC painkiller, go to the bathroom (backed up bowls can cause a migraine), start sniffing essential oil of spearmint, and hit the hay if I can. In aromatherapy, the mint family is well known to help reduce headache/migraine pain. I prefer spearmint. But whatever works for you, works for you. Good luck :)
boat.... the mints are great I also use lavender...and rescue remedy for everything including migraines
Blaze - Ya, laverder is great to help go to sleep. I haven't tried Rescue Remedy for migraines, but always something to consider.
Rescue remedy on the temple and back of neck....
I attended massage therapy school a few years ago, and focused on aromatherapy. Personally I place the spearmint oil neat on my occipital ridge, and a bit on both temples. If I do it just right, the mild burning sensation on my OR feels really good. But, as my disclaimer, I would never, ever advise to anyone to place spearmint oil neat on their skin. If done improperly, it can seriously burn.
thank you boaterra
the ti 6/24 is hillarious
All I know is that is isn't TIPKAP
I would not want to fall and be ti 6/24 LOL kap or no kap
omg!
mu 4/6 suits me perfectly!
Na I don't think so.... you are mighty regal....
Regal as a beagle!
...but I am wearing a fine purple KAP
it's the kap that adds the crowning tough....LOL
ptang!
...how about SNAPHU?
162 words 4.43 1837 That one is in the bag.... so Kap that Griff.... LOL
I can't kap that! I still have 55 to go. Boo hoo! Nice job!
GRiff you will get there you know you will.... I was just in the groove tonight..... Good luck I will be here for a bit... if you need a clue woof out....
how many words are there today?
I don't need too many clues yet I don't think, I'm just slow. But I *could* use a push on the...okay, you're not going to believe me, but the ka's...I only have the last one so far.
all stats at begining of log.... see post also at 2:36
so far i'm on 94/973
(of course the moment I admitted that, I found two more)
Griff one ka set is like walking sticks the other set is ka (above something)
Never mind - I got 'em!
Looks like a doable grid, even on a day with little time... not that I wouldn't play if it were a 500+ grid, lol. Morning, co-babblers!
*yaawwwwwn* Oh, I'm just too sleepy to keep doing this tonight - it's about midnight and I'll have some time to finish tomorrow. Going to stop with a nice even 50 to go. 'Night everybody!
Howdy Sprite... how are you ??
Hi and bye sprite - I am bequeathing all my kaps to you - SNOKAP, GASKAP, TIPKAP... 'Night all.
Griffums a nite Kap coming your way.....
hee hee! Thanks!
any clue fo fa7?
:D Thanks Griffums, I'll take good care of them for you! I'm a little better, less pain and slept better, so I am ready for a new babble round ;)
lshultz the fa 7 builds from the fa 4 add petrol
Darn... I have a teaser from the very start. No 'alpha' here.
got it - thanks blaze
Sprite there is no Think or Swim either LOL
And no pinup either.
ti 6/24 is very funny
Nor 'muppet'. Well, that's quite a lot of nots for the first few minutes!
the "cool dude" from Happy Days is in this grid. Morning all
Hi Ho Hum.
Morning Sprite, glad you are feeling a bit better.
Hunting for that Ti6, Blaze, I want to laugh! I was turned down by 'mulan' too... doesn't babble know disney?
who knew the ti6 was even a word! but I guess thats babble for you.
i've been looking for ti6 now for ages. i din't care how funny it is , im not laughing. help!!!!!
shultz think if you fell you would not want to be ti 6/24
ti6 split into 2 words is a small bird and another word for a sheep
Ho Hum that is a funny word for sheep...
yUP :)
got it thanks, but i don't get the sheep reference
Found it! To move in a lively, capering manner; prance. But it sounds like what they must have said to the pinups that are not in this grid.
last 3 letters another word for a male sheep
Now that you are laughing I am off to bed.... nitey nite all.
Bye, I must be off too.
Our smiles will accompany you to your sleeping parlor, my dear ;) Sleep well and thanks.
yes, I'm done! Anyone need a clue?
Congrats! I still need almost 100 words, so can't ask for clues yet, lol.
Bedtime. Bye ya'll.
Ethie, these hateful K's!!!!!
I am afraid Ethie is gone already, granadan. I still need 7 more Ks. Perhaps we can compare our lists?
Make that 6. This is what I have so far: ka 4 8 ka 5 18 ka 4 10 ke 4 10 ke 4 8 kh 4 9 kh 5 20 kn 4 9 kn 4 8 kn 5 18 kn 4 9 ko 4 8 ko 5 18 ko 4 10
morning sprite, there's a ke5/24, it's a fibre
you are missing another ka4/8 and 5/10 and a kn5/20 not sure about the others
sprite, a clue for (a) ka 4/8 - plural of "know" or "understand"
You guys are the greatest. Ks are never my strong suit.
wait scratch that. i totally misread your message :P
Thanks anyway, turtle :) Nice of you to help.
oh I see. there are two ke 4/8's. my clue was for the first one
blah :P
I would be grateful for a shove in the right direction for the 2nd Ka combo. I have the alt. spelling for "Scot. and Irish Eng.rent paid in kind, esp. a percentage of a farm crop" one.
got all the k's, there are 2x ka5/18
Do Ko words really exist???? I have been trying every combination I can think of and have not gotten one of the three yet! Can anyone help?
have you got the ka that's a subatomic particle sprite?
nm, found it right after asking. Asking helps :)
ko4/ko5, is a Zen story apparently
dalmatian: two are words from the buddhism, sing. and pl. for a very short story that contains an unsolvable riddle. The other one is a hebrew letter.
Can I have a clue for the kn5/20 please
Only if you go down on them and beg, HoHum :)
K's are making me Krazy - I have ka x 5 ke x 3 kh x 3 kn x 5 ko x 3 What one am I missing?
I would but I have that already as a 5/18 ?!
Hm, I see you are right. I don't have a Kn5/20 yet, only a Kh5/20. Sorry!
NP appreciate the throught anyway
Dianne, ke4/10, ke5/24, ke4/8 x2
doh - got it,plural of the kn4/9
kn 5/20 - To break or chip (stone) with sharp blows, as in shaping flint or obsidian into tools.
apparently it's chiefly british
Sprite - thanks a million! I cannot believe how smart all the folks that Babble are!!!!!
lol Ho Hum, bet you did the same as I: only seeing that one place for the 4th letter and not realising you could go another way and make it plural :)
ferrari - got that last K thanks to your help :)
yw, dalmatian! The longer you play, the more absolutely useless but very interesting words you get to know ;)
Exactly Sprite!!!! oh well it's all part of the fun LOL
hello all :) yes, sprite, but sadly I forget the words by the next day!
Chessy - glad to know there is someone else kust like me out there - I see them one day and then have to hunt for them again the next!
Chessy, I refuse to believe you have forgotten 'ywis', 'crms', 'hisn' or any of the 'naoi-anoa-etui' family!
True sprite, not to mention 'haen' and 'pfui' !
Oh yeah, those nasty ones too :)
One I really hate: haar. It's such a dutch word (for hair) and it doesn't look even remotely english.
121 so far but have to go to a meeting, Bye for now.
At least you have some words to use in that meeting, Ho Hum! ;) See you later.
not to mention 'neuk' eh sprite, lol
Yeah, one of the rudest words in dutch indeed, Chessy :)
too bad babble doesn't take German words. This one's full of 'em!
Frustrating, right amanda? ;) I know the feeling.
I need just one more word and I will be through. It is probably right in front of my face. But, I cannot see it. Please, please a hint for the first Pa 4/6.
dalmation, my first Pa4/6 is: elongated, often segmented appendage usually found near the mouth in invertebrate organisms such as mollusks, crustaceans, and insects, the functions of which include sensation, locomotion, and feeding. (Well, you asked.)
No wonderI cannot find the darn thing! At least it is not too easy! I am watching a movie called Papi and I wanted to use that word!!!!
Perhaps easier: a tropical tree with another last letter.
dalmation haveyou got the appendage? it's almost same as pu4/7
dalmation - my 1st Pa4/6 sounds like a shortened form of "heart pa--------s" - beating very fast.
Sprite and Ferrari - thank you so much!!!! I got it from the tropical tree. I have finished and will be able to get a great nights sleep - but better yet can get some things done tomorrow!!!! Thank you again!
WTG dalmatian! Sleep well and enjoy your day tomorrow :)
Night all..........
3 cheers for dal
Good Morning all! Its my second puzzle and i am going to complete it today as got tired yesterday!! lol
could anyone put me out of my misery? I am still stuck on pi6/30 and pi7/44. I don't "get" the alaska reference because there's no "i" near it. These are my last two I need. Then I'm finished and I will give clues til the cows come home.
Good luck Chrissy! Jen, I am sorry, I don't have them yet. I hope for some brilliant clues too ;)
ps. I went through the log, got the fruit reference. pi fruit meaning middle portion not the sweet fruit pl reference. tx!
quick clue if its not a seed it could be a 3 letter word that starts with p and the 2nd part is if someone asks you how old you are you tell them your ...
Haven't got those pi's jen, are they to do with fruit?
Ho Hum thanks for those clues i've got the pi s now
Me too, great clues!
got it...for the love I had read those clues from way before ...specifically the one saying to start in middle then go straight up one side.... I was going up the WRONG side. This is such the story of my life! Completed... thanks so much, off to get coffee, be back with the clues I promised!
Struggling with the nasty Ns. I have ni4/5, ni5/12 and ni4/5. What are the other two?
me too, once I got past the pi4 word, thanks
Congrats Jen, have fun ;)
Is there really an fa7 ?
I have No5/12
ferrari - if you have the fa4/7 then add indigestion to it
Sprite - thanks - now I only need one more N :)
How many words today?
dianne, I've got 2 fa4/7's
ferrari - it is an extension of my first Fa 4/7.
162 words today
I have 2x Fa4/7 too and the first one cannot be made into any 7, as far as I can see. Mine rhymes with a small boat.
ferrari: found it. There is another Fa4, comes before the others, change the last letter of the second Fa4/7.
the fa 7 is a weathercock plus american petrol
errr.... that is your first, ferrari ;)
thanks dianne, what a word. sprite it's a spanish bushel
Another new word for me, to remember and try to use, lol. I love the Ti6, didn't know that one either.
Ti6 - ins't that what the Wonderbra is supposed to do?
Exactly!
Diane your clue for Ti/6 is one of the best I've seen! LOL LOL LOL
the ti 6 is a lovely word, you can imagine D'Arcy ti*****ing to dry off his wet shirt
A friend of mine calls the bra an upper-decker flopper stopper!
jenwould - you make me blush.

You miss Na4!
dianne, there are 3 ni5's, you'll pinch yourself, or have you got that one?

No there arent dianne its an na the thought's the same just change a miiddle letter
and then you can go and have a na*
I'm pinching myself - again and again - how did I not see that - DUH. Thanks all for the help.

Jakes mum homonym for insight
another ke4/8
jakes-- If you're looking for a clue, you're looking for in***, the opposite of outgo.
in5/14 - what you do with your Babble words to get them onto your word list on computer.
jakes mum and everyone else, i'm so so sorry. very very bad clue, will replace SOX hat with Dunce hat and walk back to my corner in utter embarrassment and shame.
aargh!! why are the wasy word so hard to find!!! ty all

Uneaixoise, Thanx for the aid. But I have to say, if I wasn't such a nice guy I would be writing all the nasty words I'm muttering right now :->

sp5/20
Anybody else having trouble reaching Babblers Anon. today. Keeps timing out on me.
I am having the same thing. forgot how much more difficult it was to this without the lists.
Could someone tell me what this Babblers Anon. is? This is the first I've heard of it.
stuck on the ok/5 any ideas?
Punster - Click on the Babblers Anonymous link of Friends of Babble on your right.
i copy and paste the list and then print part of it
Mutter, mutter, mutter ....
punster-- on right side of screen is a link to B.A. Click (or right click for new tab). Then click General to find entry for today's words: count, second letters, etc. Also chat board. Alas, not at the moment. Bergery, thanks. First think checked: just my 'puter or wider.
ok5/20 is an antelope, half of which looks like a zebra.
need a clue to ok/5 my brain is going s.l.o.w....
Jac-- Which half?
Joelgee - its rump. LOL.
Natural curiosity, don't you know.
still eluding me???
A clue for the ok5 - You might exclaim this if you saw a French gendarme's hat, but you'd use a different vowel.
I'm missing one s5. The ones I have are: sa5 x2, sn5 x1, sp5 x2, sw5 x3.
thanx jacula got there in the end couldnt see the i!!

good morning people
ha. got it from the wonderbra clue of all things. Thanks Fmitch
Hi e_gurl, afternoon here.
If g4/10 was the first word I found, does that make me one?
Good morning/Good afternoon... Happy Friday!!
torgone-- hell no. You were one already.
torgone, that was the first one i found too, so my vote would be of course not! :)
finished!!! anyone need anything before i get out of here?
Thank you, joelgee ;+)
bergery-- What was the wonderbra clue, please?
Begrery pleez the clue for ti 6/24 the wonderbra eludes me...
torgone-- you lobbed it. I had to spike it. Reflex.
Happy Friday everyone :)
Happy Friday Bugzy!
Besides, we're all ge5/22 on this bus.
around 4:37 a.m. posts, there was quite a discussion. the word is ti6/24 Dianne posted: Ti6 - ins't that what the Wonderbra is supposed to do?
good day all...and it looks like i got here just in time...we all must start in the same spot...lol i'm the biggest of all i bet...
Hey Baggo, happy Fridays!
Hey Lupe... don't you have a parade to go to today? :)
hey fmitch...like the new icon!!
Cheers, was a bit fed up with the last one, finished the grid a little while ago so am sitting here in the hope I can help out.

i'm trying to do it today with no help from the log..saw the wonderbra one and it's still not clicking...but i'll come back.. i have about 4 left...
It is a great babble word once you find it.:)
Yes I do Bugzy! I wore the wrong shoes for it though. I will sacrifice myself and walk over blisters and all during lunch!
fmitch...can't get babblers to come up...what's total point...didn't write it down...
162 for 1837
It will be totally worth the pain Lupe... Have fun! :) Any clues for the uh's, anyone?

:-)
oooh thanks Baggo and well done. It's a great word isn't it ....Cheers!
cheers!! i really didn't think that should be a word, kept looking at it...and just put it in...:-)
ge 5/14 will be 113 still a long way to go... can anyone help me up to speed?
has to be added to the list along with ywis and crhms as someone was saying earlier today
question......... why does it not except lakhs when it is a word?
yes i agree...bubbles, i guess it's not in enable..
lucky do you need that clue? if so think of salami
Lucky you are doing well, let us know what you need help on.
can I have a clue for the 2 Uh words plz?
Bubbles1- Maybe Babble doesn't accept lakhs because it's an Indian word. Just guessing. Also, Enable is key source. Not there, no word. Just beez that way.
baggo salami??? geezihateit
if you have the ul's add the h...if not i'll get a real def
forget that, I 've got them
Bubbles-- Actually, Babble accepted the singular. I don't think you can get to the plural.
luck how about a jib used in sailling??? that any better???lol
ohh ty baggo, I just saw your post
i looked on the a2z and its on there.
bubble, pl must not be a word, not in merriam wbster
a2z is just an aid. It's not the official source. Singular works. Can't get to the plural. Letters have to touch.
Ok ok i'm thick not paying any attention, your right you cannot get to it. I'm gonna go and hide in the corner.
missing an o oa 5 18 oa 4 8 ok 4 8 on 4 4 op 4 6 op 4 5
fyi not all words on babble are on a2z...
Bub-- Come out of the corner. Everyone who is perfect, raise a hand.
ok 5/18
Baggo thanks for your clues but I think I am not American enough anymore living in Holland to get some of your clues HELP
by the way, you helped me with my last "l", so there.
my face is now the same colour as grommits nose!!!
okay a word for a man, minus a letter...plus 2 vowels...
does anyone have the address for the second letter list?
scsong...dr_g put a link under friends of babble...
baggo, I have now tried all 5 letter words around the ok and cannot find it, are you teasing me?!?!?
if you look on the right hand side of this site you will see friends of babble its the babblers anonymous one
thanks baggo!!
oops it's for ok5/20 i gave you the oa5...think of an indian tribe...
Lets try another op 4/6 Baggo can I twist your arm again?
a german term for grandpa...
THe semi-precious gem, change the last letter.
or as we always find a fish in a babble puzzle, the real def for the op4/6 is a moonfish
Baggo your the best! op 4/6 in the bag!
still cant find it baggo, any other clues for the british dunce plz?
heres the real def...(it ends with a vowel)ruminant forest mammal of the Congo River basin in Africa, related to the giraffe but smaller and having a short neck, reddish-brown body, creamy white cheeks, and whitish stripes and bands on the legs
Joelgee .. my thanks extends to you too ofcourse!
ohhh got it!! ty baggo
wtg jakes-mum ***stomping on dunce cap**
The op4/6 sounds like a Greek exclamation (around here, it's what they say when they light the saganaki). Thanks all, BTW, for helping me finish my o's...
Ssee you are doing a serling job baggo! Got called away there for 5 mins back now.
fmitch i wondered where you went
Nice clue, bugzy--thanks
Y/W Scoutsmom... didn't know if anyone would get the Greek connection...
Wonder where Anj and the rest of the crew are this afternoon?
Baggo what real def are you talking about 9:45 am??
ok, just a bit of a teaching moment...since we all can get the second letter list quite easily now thanks to dr g...what i do is try all i can without it's aid...then copy it to a word document and go back and check off what i have...use the point count and go alphabetically and you should be able to come up with the odd ones pretty easily...unless you're math challenged then ignore the above...5's are x2, 6'sx3 etc.... ;-)
the OK 5/20, anyone have any ideas, can't find it anywhere
would anyone be kind enough to post a list of P's or H's plz???
kc8501 - if you reaad down the log just a few entries you will se the definition and clues too!
the ok5/20 lucky...kc see clues below...
...but I would think that flaming cheese would be pretty appealing for this bunch! :)
Duh. n/m I found it hiding behind that "invisiable" tile
Baggo thanks that beast was down with me already
excellent advice, Baggo! I use notepad myself. (start, accessories, notepad) :)
fmitch...anj has a concert tonight, he was on ezboard earlier with a post...he said if he had no fun he'd be back on tomorrow, and lola is with 3 yo's at pizza hut and someplace else...
Baggo I'm Uhhhh on the Uh's
jakes-mum, can you get to the exboard site at babblers anonymous in the friends of babble section???
if you are getting missing tiles try F5 to refresh, should help
lucky see my earlier post...

Baggo - for us thickies......how do you get the 2nd letter list easily.......what has Dr God done that I am not aware of to help with this? Not been babbling much lately so I must have missed it.
sorry baggo, just saw the request, didn't see Jakes reply...
hey mtn, i went to broad ripple yesterday looking for the vegetarian rest, and couldn't find it, and i've not heard of the pony???? any clues?
Pretty sure mtnjock just made that all up the other day. there's no such place as the pony! mtn, quit messing with people!
ty mtn, I copied your list over what I got from babblers anon, I like to have point values
Madxser...up in the friends of a babble box, there is a babblers anonymous link, click on it, go to general and then to stats, brandyjack rocks, he posts all the stats there...copy paste to a word document, and theya re at your hand
jakes mum go further down, you'll see all the points with the second letter post....
There is a English Pub (the pony is a rock bar down the alley behind it) near the end of the main strip in Broad Ripple. The veggie place is 2 blocks up the strip and on the right. It has a mediterrian theme to it. Great Place, I will get the name and post later today, I have co-workers in Indy who will tell me the name, loc exactly for you.
It it-it it it it itttts Me! Hurrah!
I have to add that I copy and paste to excel instead of word as I find it easier to manimulate the data that way but then I am probably an excel g4/10
nice to know scoutsmom, i've lived not far from broad ripple, my whole life, never had heard of it the other day, but bars are ever changing there, and thought it might be off the main street...mtn, you owe me gas money....lol
WooHoo!!!!!!! Iiiiittttt'ss AANNJJ!!! Sorry do we know ya? LOL
Thanks Baggo - I will go and have a nosy.
evil scoutsMom! I am not messing with people! Baggo, I will buy you dinner when I come through at thanksgiving! Probably over the weekend.
fmitch, I've been using notepad. I'm not much of an excell user. What are the benefits?
i've been to the mediterr place...but the pony...you sure it's not the patio???? that's down the back alley from union jacks..
Anj - Go ahead and Jump!
oh, come on. i'm just having fun with y'all. i'm in a grand old mood because g. will be here tomorrow.
fmitch...excel is much easier for me as well!
Think it's a personal thing I tend to use excel where others would use word.
hello anj love.....when's the concert...shouldn't you be primping????
back in my hey day there, it used to be called the pony! my college roommate bartended at Union Jacks for years and we would go there afterwords...
scoutsMom, I have a clock counting down the 32 hours until G gets here for you...
ah yes, mtn. confusion arised from the fact that you're OLD!
fmitch, I just opened excell. I ran screaming. thanks, but us simple folk will stick to notepad! lol
LOL Deutsch
you're just a few years behind me scouts, so don't push it!
ok mtn, i'm older than you...so hey maybe we were in the same spots. did you live here?
Hi Baggo, Bugzy, FMitch, All :) Naw, I've got an hour to play with but I need to feed before I go and do the rock thang :) This one was a pussycat. Had a good laugh at the ti6 :D That sounded like a medical problem...
if the pony is the patio, the patio is closing..dark place tiny??
yeah, went to Purdue, and then helped build out the FedEx hub for 2 years there at the airport. Most of my college buds still live there. Mom lives in South Bend, works for ND, so I go back often.
hiya... Deustch - should you be screaming w/ your laryngitis & all??? : )
its closing? uh huh... that place rocked. Hard rock, live bands...
sorry, meant to say coughing my lungs up! lol
oh, i see, hubby is up working at purdue on a remodel this week, he says he hardly recognized the campus...south bend is a great town...
The 5/20s are eluding me. Any ideas for the kn 5/20 or the ok 5/20 please?
munner...do you have kn 5/20 - head, shoulders, ____ and toes?
munner, kn5 think of a sack...and the ok is an antelope like thing...
kn5/20 is plural of kn 4/9.
campus started changing when I left, went back for 5 year reunion with the guys, almost got lost (no smokestack to guide anymore). South Bend is great, beautiful town, hate the lake effect snow... ;)
see i'd love the lake effect snow, we don't get much here, if it's cold better have snow!!
exactly! Memphis gets about an inch a year... and it doesn't stick around (thank god), cause the people here don't know how to drive in good weather, let alone rain, sleet or snow!
Handyman is finally here. BBL
Woo Hoo! Hooray for *ahem* handy men! Enjoy, Deutsch!
ty, Lucky and Baggo. I was going the wrong direction. Have to recover now from dizziness!
no prob munner, how go things???
let me know how much snow you'd like.... we get at least 150" per year here
i'll come live with you...are you near the lake too??
Poo's Mom: I will take 5-6 inches every other week, if you don't mind. Scattered or all at once, your choice. Esp. since Scout has never seen it.
Wow Poo's Mum that is a lot of snow!!!
I'm in the PA snow belt just south of Erie
do you ever get to Put IN Bay (Sandusky)?
i heard on the weather channel, what we can expect the winter to be as bad as the hurricane season...
Holy Cow... I live on the "non-lake effect" side of the lakes... we get about 40-50 inches a year, and that's plenty for me!
You'll notice I said 'at least'; those are the slow years LOL Glad my driveway isn't particularly big :) Sandusky? no.... Have a brother in Ashtabula, that's about as far into OH I go
We are getting warnings for the UK that it is going to be a very hard winter too but nothing like yours by the sound of it!
can I have a clue for the Pi6/30 plz
Hello from Cape Cod Mass.
what is pl 5/18
Hi everyone! Have been suffering from withdrawal symptoms for ages!
slang term (made up) for what a plummer fixes...
miya - people were asking about you yesterday...
hey miyavi...been wondering if you were okay
Hi rahrah... grew up in MA (North Attleboro) Things still rather soggy over there?
thanx baggo
Cool, I have been missed...I am trying very hard to type normally on an Italian keyboard at present! (three guesses as to why I have been away from babble, hm?)
Miy - where you been! oh it's half term isn't it (((miy)))
jakesmum - I think you're reading my mind! I was just looking for that pi6 !
Didn't rain all summer from June 12 until Labor Day weekend. Hasn't stopped since then.
Hello everyone :)
Hi lola
Hellola! :) *stealth hug*
Afternoon lola
Got stuck on the earlier clues for the ge 5/14 does anyone have new inspiration?

Hiya Miya!! Didn't see you there. You've been missed :)
Luck - city in Switzerland and also a type of cake

Hi mu and FMitch :) Hey babe! *stealth kiss*

FMitch, thanks for the fish explanation yesterday
ok miyavi my guess if you ran off with your favorite band???
5/14 by crazy typing down!
Hi miyavi! :) Hi baggo :)
la la la lola, la la la lola...
you're welcome gnu
Hey ScoutsMom! What is Memphis' official trick or treat night?
lol, hi coosin! :)
are you getting all dolled up for the concert?
I hadn't heard, mtn. I assumed it was, you know, halloween night. why would it be otherwise?
Hey Lola! Baggo, I wish! Nein, my family want me to be "cultured" (hah) , I think, so I'm in Rome, sadly without Dir en Grey.
1 word to go with no clues so far, need the 2nd PA4/6
Was that question for me mtn?
got it, done!
gnu...to touch or the test women should have done yearly..
thanks, baggo! got it just before you posted
lola you survived pizza and the outing??? i have to go be lunch lady for 200 in about 20 minutes...
the dolled up one? yes, it was for you lola! scoutsMom, its Memphis, last year it was saturday and not Sunday (the 31st)... thats why I was asking.
baggo, are you moonlighting as a lunchlady?
No, last year it was halloween night. That's when I took the picture that is my icon right now...I'd just gotten back from Indiana that day.
yep every friday you can find me at my kids school, helping out...really must go and eat before i go, cause i wont want to after...its a great diet...
Ah, is anyone else looking forward to Halloween? THe parents insist it's a pagan festivil but that's nothing to stp me donning visual kei and scaring the elderly...mwahahahaha...
See you baggo! I have to go too.
I am, Scout is coming over (dressed as ... a little devil) and she is helping me hand out candy! and going down to the haunted house down the street!
Miyavi...I love halloween. It's better than christmas.
I'm forced to agree with that...Christmas in my house gets pretty scary, what with the sister 'smiling' and my parents staring with undisguised disgust at the dir en grey CD's I beg for.
Get this... my son is planning on being Darth Vader for Halloween. This week, his school sends home a note saying all kids must dress up as "positive role models" for Halloween parties at school, ie. no villains, etc. So he's going in his last year's costume, a king. I think that's such a crock!! Just had to vent...
baggo- barely... :/ No, lol, actually it was good fun :) mtn- I'm not going to a concert, Anj is :)
Punster, Ka 5/18 consists of a electrally charged form
bugzy: r u serious? Darth Vader can be a positive role model as well - not following the norm of the society, thinking outside the box...etc.
that is a big load of crock.
Bugzy, I have the same problem. Scout's day care said they could wear costumes as long as they were "friendly." So I made a joke about my apple-cheeked girly dressing up like a little red devil and they were so shocked they told me she couldn't wear it to school. It's velvet! It has sequins! It's a couple of horns and a tail away from being elmo, for crying out loud! SHe's wearing it anyway.
That's what my son said "He's a good role model for the Dark Side!!" LOL
Who is a better role for redemption than Darth Vader? How feisty do you want to get about this? I say put it on the school board to make a stink. Right to the Supreme Court, baby!
Of course Darth Vader is a positive role model, especially since so many children these days are aspiring to take over the world
Agree. talking about limiting the freedom of speech. Plus, look at the girl darth vader got. He got to hang out with Princess Amidala...
Myself included
I'll admit, though...a vader costume would've been cooler than the red devil. But I don't remember seeing one in her size. *alas*
Well, if you wanted to take over the world, you could always dress like pinky and the brain.
Scouts-- A teacher at Joe's preschool a couple of years ago also had a problem with the t-shirt that he wore (bought at Old Navy) that said "Little Devil" on it. Crazy!!! Not to get political here, but what also gets me is that one of the suggestions of "positive role models" they gave was a soldier....
www.buycostumes.com has all the Star Wars characters, in all kinds of sizes. They had an adorable Yoda costume for toddlers. It was sold out in August, tho. That's when I got Joe's costume from there. He decided a long time ago that he was going to be Darth Vader....
Bugsy: Can they dress up as power rangers? Because I think they are the worst role models ever!
A soldier! What the hell?! How is that a positive influence! Oh yeah, let's go kill people...in a POSITIVE way!
I guess it depends who's defining "positive role model". I guess you can see soldiers on the news any time doing soldiery things, but you have to be a certain age to see Darth Vader. Go figure.
Bugzy: time to move to California (more liberal?!?) ... I can't imagine such a thing happening here!
Exactly... who's to decide what "positive" is. We were considering using one of Joe's old costumes, a Ninja, but wondered if it was "Positive" or not... Anyway, can you tell that Joe picks costumes based on how cool the weapons are that go with it??? LOL
AK 4/8 AND AK 5/18 PLEEZ SOME CLUES?
Lucky--sounds like what you use to open your locked door, and then plural.
the ak's sound like what you put in a lock to open it
Of course ninjas are positive influences! If I was made to dress as a positive influence, I would probably go as Marilyn Manson, then make up loads of good stuff about him.
LOL Miyavi.... MM has probably done wonders for the sales of disturbingly pale colored contact lenses, for example...
thanks bob x
bugsy: Ninja's are definitely good role models - they're the most disciplined ppl on the planet!
no probs bubby. Used jo's card. x Hi all *waves*
Indeed, Bugzy! Though I found out only the other day that his real name is Brian Wagner, so he has also bought laughter to many peoples lives. Nothing against the name, it just really doesn't suit him!
Help, please!!!!! pi6/30 and pi7/44
Walnutchen, indeedy.
Hi bobsta! :) Woo, bubbles went pro! :D
hey lola ;o)
I thought I read that he's getting married, too, Miyavi? So a positive role model for *that* sacred institution! walnutchen - not to mention in fantastic physical shape... you don't see many overweight ninjas!
say thanks to jo for me please. Hi lola finally got it!!
pi6 and pi7 - slange for what a plumber fixes, someone said earlier...
got to go now. Bye all
bubbles, go get yourself a pink handbag now girlfriend ;)
Good morning, all -- I suppose you are all close to finishing this thing!
Bugzy, yep. To a, er, stripper. So that may not last as long as hoped. Though she seems quite committed, she bought him a...er...indecent statue. Ah, true love!
Hi cybernan :)
ok hun will do, don't need to tell me twice!
lol! See you later bubbles :)
Anyone have a clue for the ak's?
LOL Miyavi! So romantic, those two!
Thanks, Bugzy! Got 'em ... and finished.
Way to go, Patrice!
I tried to change my icon last night, but couldn't get the new one to upload -- have any of you experienced this problem?
cybernan: took me a couple of tries today to change icons. got it eventually.
cyber - what was the format?
I think you can only do jpeg or gifs.... I tried to save a pix in paintbrush (.bmp) and it wouldn't work - resaved as current in gif format
cybernan ak4/8 and ak5/18 tropical fruit and its plural
Yay Patrice! Glad I could help... Lunchtime for me ... I'm thinking Taco Bell. Anyone want anything? :)
scoutsmom took me some time but got it now the pi's bother me
thanks bugzy but i'll stick w/ my salad.
Ooo! Bring me back a couple a' meximelts, would you please?
Morning, all. I've gone blind! Any clues on the Ti6? thanks bunches.
G-morning Charm
Charm ti6/24 think base over apexish
Hey, cybernan. Do Canadians make a to-do over halloween?
Eastern - I have saved it as a gif -- guess I will just have to wait for a reply from Dr. God
Will do, Scoutsmom... and Poo's, not even a gordita? A chalupa? A pintos and cheese? Well, OK... TTFN!
Yes, we celebrate Halloween, but mostly in parties and treats for the kids -- although a few adults also let the kid in them out! I've never seen such a fuss as what they do in Europe, though!
Frances - thanks, but still struggling. Maybe I'll go away and come back later! Cybernan - what do they do Over There?
We have theme parties in pubs and clubs in Britain - the adults probably have more fun than the kids! I'm gigging tonight and tomorrow and will have to dress-up for both!
Wow! - my new icon just uploaded! - thank you Dr. God
charm ti6/24 add together a boob and a sheep!
Thanks for the ak clue, Frances
cybernan you're welcome
Frances! Thank you. That did it for me. Both were great clues; I was just slow. Gotta go pick up the Monster Baby. See y'all later....
You're welcome charm
pi6 and pi7 what a plumber fixes? this clue doesn't ring a bell can anyone help out?
110 but gotta go for now...talk with you later!
Frances - great ti6 clue - thx!
cybernan my pleasure
Bye Eastern...

ScoutsMom I've been living in Holland for 40 years now so plz forgive my outdated words...
Frances - we spent a week in London last year and absoulutely loved it -- have relatives in Scotland, however, so tend to go there when in Europe.
thanks with the sp help, but I had them already. Two words left and I accidentally crossed them out. One is an "F" word and one is a "P" word. $@#$$%!!
No! I love it, lucky. I'm re-adding it to my lexicon. I think people's vocabularies are pitifully small these days. thank you!
Lucky - whereabouts in Holland? -- we hope to take that river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam next Spring -- looking forward to seeing something of the country -- any tips?

one ke is a card game. Another "ke" means "knows", but it's also more than one boyfriend of Barbie The last one is: fiber from an East Indian plant Hibiscus cannabinus
american as apple *** without the last vowel

Afternoon (or morning or evening) everyone. Stumped by the last N. Have Na4-5, Ni4-5x2 and Ni-5. What am I missing?
Can someone post the word list?
maybe its called the stats list
no 5/12 -- wordlist posted at babblers anonymous
no5/12-- put a consonant in front of your semi-precious gem.
Can someone ppost the STATS Page?
stats list (2nd letter list included) at: http://p105.ezboard.com/fbab blersanonymousfrm2.showMessage ?topicID=6.topic (make sure there are no spaces when you copy and paste the URL)
joey can you open the google page while you're playing? type in: to move in a lively capering manner, prance and you'll get the ti 6
For stats, click "babblers anonymous". Then click "General". You'll see a posting for today's puzzle.
wx... on right hand side of screen in the friends of babble click on babblers anon, then click on general then the stats list
thanks cyber...but it doesnt load
Looks like it's warmed up enough to go out and tackle the weeds. Have a great day, everyone.
It's been sick on and off today.
STATS also show up when you cough up the dough to go pro.
Don't know why more people don't go pro -- cost is reasonable and such a great game deserves support!
Norad - thanks a whole bunch, there is not a chance on this earth that I would have gotten that without your help. On bended knee.
no problem, the chatters help me all the time!
cybernan, re: ke 5/24 - scots for know plus abbreviation for the bite sized food eaten before dinner. I get the first half - but am lost at the 2nd - any other hint?
Could I have a hint for the fa6/33 & the fa7/48, please?
Jera, take your fa4/7 and go to the wonderful state of Georgia (hint hint)
Cadfan - first two letters of a home on the 24th floor of a large building.
hi folks
ty, mtnjock... gee, why didn't I see that? I use those words everyday...
Bye - can't put off the gardening any longer
Hi, karenth!
Heck, after getting those 2, I had the Fanta's commercial running through my head...
Yes, thanks mtn...another new word for my lexicon.

I'll do it, Jera. He's right down the street from me.
Hi there, ScoutsMom! Is that Scout all dressed up for Halloween?
Bye everyone all done for today
wanna fanta, doncha wanna, wanna fanta..
Whoo-hoo for mu!!
Hey Jera...yes, this is last year's costume. I'll post a new one on Monday with her little red devil outfit.
mtn. you're cruisin' for the mommy voice from one of us.
How sweet! Gwyd's going as a volcano & Sprite will be Juniper Lee. Such fun!
I dunno ScoutsMom... he'd probably enjoy it...
Bugzy and I were discussing her son's Darth Vader costume earlier.
I'm just glad she didn't go for the Tokyo Mew-Mew scene... just might happen next year...
Jera is definitely getting to know me better... (evil grin)
sprite my be cute as hello kitty!
i NEED THE SAT LIST......ITS NOT LOADING FOR ME.....i SUCK......I FEEL INCREDIBLY DUMB....oooppps my capps was on.....mmmm oatmeal is good
Apparently no dumbness here, just an incredibly short attention span. What were we talking about?
Babblers Anon has been sick on and off today.
Oh dear no, Hello Kitty is babyish... Tokyo Mew Mew is more like Sailor Moon, can get a bit more sexy than I'm comfortable with for my 9 year old.
Missing the last U. I have the U4x2 and the U5x2 that all sound the same. Clue for last one?
There are U's in this puzzle? (I'm on the G's)
Back from lunch... I can't wait to see the devil costume, Scouts... tho the bumblebee is adorable too. My little guy (2) is going to be Winnie the Pooh - don't know how long that costume will stay on, though...
Take you UL and add a cooking utensil.
Oh, Judi...I miss U too.
When Gwys was 2 he was Stitch... VERY in character...
Last year he was a dragon... now the volcano... who knows where we'll be next year!
I'm sensing a fire-spewing theme here, Jera... :)
With all the flame throwing, kid sounds like a little arsonist. At least it's a profitable profession.
Very explosive personality... loves red...
Arsonist
could someone please give me clue for fa6/33
Doesn't like actual fire much... tried to grab the candle on his first birthday cake...
Sing it, Mtn!
check my post thats still on this page... to Jera
WHY WONT BABBLERS ANNON. WORK...............AHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......I NEED THE STAT LIST...CAN NE ONE HELP ME OUT?
fa 6/33: A dry measure in Spain and Spanish America, varying from 1? to 2? bushels
Okay, not being a parent and having no knowledge of developmental theory, of course I'm an expert. Arsonist. You'll be proud. You heard it here first.
I'm not having a problem with it, wxpxe. What do you need? Are you working on a certain letter I can post for you?
hi all! Do we have a kind one today? I started it last nite (this morning?) and got about 35 to start.... home sick today so I have more time to play ...
H to the A to the P P Y, to the B to the I to the R T H, D to the A to the Y(iiiiiiiiii) Happy Birthday.... happy happy happy happy happy Biiiiirthday, happy birthday
NO, I AM STUCK AT 35 WORDS MOM.
Sick. Yeah. Right. Friday. Seriously, not too ill, I hope.
walnutchen-- thanks so much!
Darnittoheck, I thought you were going to make others a part of the fanta-song hell you've created.
I think my daughter came down with a spelling test today.
joelgee - no not seriously. if I was a PAPAbear, I would not be in this pain, if you get my drift
mama needs drugs!
No. I don't get it. Get it? Sorry to hear. Ouch.
evanonut - you are absolutely correct!!! got any good stuff?
I get it. *hands MamaBear a heating pad & ibuprofen*
i got narcotics my dear, the very best
Oh yeah, that's right I was working on the G's...
bring em on evanonut!!!!!
Poor mama. *walks in with a tray of tea*
* chucks a couple of innocent looking pills at mama *
if it don't kill the pain, it'll kill the care
First ones are free.
heck, joel, the copay is CHEAP, it's the running out that sucks
I would stay home from work too, if I had narcotic pain...
thanks for the tea scoutsmom...hmmmm. spiked... my favorite. goes well with evanonut's cute little pills... and a heating pad... what good friends!!! am resorting alot to a2z today... bad mama
*looks sheepish & puts the wimpy ibuprofen away*
jera, no narcotit pain, narcotic anxiety. i gave up and came home.
don't feel bad jera - I took them too!!
awe jera, i'm proud of you, you don't need the good stuff!
"things are different today, I hear every mother say..."
I did in college... guess I'm tougher now...
what do you need mama bear?
well jera, i'd be tougher if my husband were better.
right now looking for the last an 4/4 - can't even find it with a2z... how pathetic
I was happy to see an4/9 (wearing one right now)!
mama, rhymes with "pains"
I found those short little A's just doing the math & typing stuff in... no idea what most of them mean...
an 4/4 sounds like a response to a question...but it only sounds like that if you're from Boston.
evanonut - thx but I have that one
just went pro - testing my icon - sorry for the interruption
egyptian religious symble.
dang, sorry mama, only one i have right now
Nice one, Kristin.
mamabear an4/9 wear it on a chain round your neck
Had to pop out there for a minute. Belated thanks to Joelgee for the UL.
Is that a Cosmopolitan?
Could I have a hint for ga5/24? I'm sure I'll feel stupid... I've been staring at it 10 minutes now...
got it ScoutsMom - thanx - great clue - have good friend in Boston who talks like that - love the accent!!!
that it is - thought it would fit in with this rowdy drinking crowd LOL!
mamabear, my clue was for the last an4/4. is that what you needed?
cute icon Kristin - I think I'll join the pro ranks today - it's about time I made it legal.... not a babble virgin anymore
take your ga 5/30, and no k, but a p
ga 5 is pl of ga4/11 (reminiscent of Hagrids baby brother...)
if you have a ga4/11, turn it into a 3rd person active verb.
yes ScoutsMOm - muchas grasias
mamabear I resisted forever but couldn't resist the icon temptation
do you get icons to choose from or do you have to find your own?
kristen, nice icon, but i'm charmed by the dog in mtnjocks icon
AARGHH!!! Plural... plural... plural!!!
you find your own but it gives instructions on how to insert the icon - trust me i'm by far computer literate and I did it - just google whatever kind of image you are looking for
Can I get a hint for the kn 5/20
Okay ge5/14... I'm ready to smack myself again...
hi all. worry, slow today! ti 6 - boob + sheep? don't get it. ok5 - animal of africa? any help would be great! Then i can go back to being productive for the day!
kn4/9... plural... = kn5/20
evanonut, thats Beau, he's a favorite of mine as well (he is quite the character)...
Jera-- Can we watch?
kn 5/20 = kn 4/9+s
(banging head on monitor) plurals plurals, babble = mind yoga!
my boy, macky, i 3. he's obsessive compulsive.
Sure, why not... help me with the word first, though...
town in italy, or type of lunch meat!
hi all! how many words today?
ge5/14 = jib
The ge is a type of salami. May also be an island in Italy.
Coulda sworn I tried that!!! Thanks... on to the K's...
diane: 162. not too bad - not too many super long words today...
That's the town my soap is in... :>
thanks walnut
This is so cool. I can actually work on one half of my screen and follow the chat on the other half. When you spend all your working time alone in a smallish room, it really helps.
If your soap is in that town, how do you wash?
Need ti6 help, pleas! I know what a boob is. (We have those in Montana.) I know what a sheep is. (We have those in Montana.) I'm still missing something.
ok, my turn for idiocy, help with the first la 5/12?
just heard a good one guys... "if ignorance is bliss, why aren't there more happy people" - quoth the little taggie on my teabag.
think underwire bra, pushup bra, they do what to boobs?
More than one la4/4
la 5/12 French bunny rabbit!
oops my mistake. If I said it's French for rabbit, would that help?
thanks spellit, don't speak french but knew that word!
harpjane ti6/24 t..t..
mtnjock: Tony stewart was la5 (soundslike!) some ppl this Past sunday
my favorite quote is a Dilbert - Dilbert is intereviewing a guy and says "I don't mean to frighten you, but you'll have to do some actual work" and the guy interviewing replies "that's crazy talk" - the guy must have found the Babble website!
evanonut - you just made my profile of great babble quotes...
kristine - good one mtnjock - NICE!
I got the ti word. Thanks. We don't use that word for sheep out here. Babblers learn something every day!
finally... last one... ti5! any help would be awesome.
my favorite dilbert is about the numbing, where they all go to watch a co-worker as he stresses about his work until he cant take it anymore, then he crosses over and is numbed,...i wish i would cross over already.
oops, I meant ok5, not ti5. man.. losing my mind...
7 p words left, uuggghhh how are you fareing scouts?
No ti5. Two ti4. One ti6
btw, my favorite dilbert thing is that he says that companies will keep promoting ppl upward until they can do the least harm to the company. So the better worker you are, the lower on the totem pole you stay!
the ok5 would be your antelope-like beastie.
Walnutchen - how true it is!
ah walnut...i just knew i was good...now i have proof. * sitting cross legged at the bottom of the pole * could be worse, i could be in files i guess
walnutchen ok5/20 forest mammal
having trouble keeping up with the animal clues - can't find the fench rabbit or the sheep and now there's an antelope.... you have to be Noah to play this game!!!
also called a "forest giraffe".
This is only tangentially related, but I've been sitting here all morning doing my job and listening to my boss invite ALMOST every person in the office over for thanksgiving dinner. It's the ALMOST that's ticking me off.
alright thank you so much all...!!!! yeah!
awe scouts - my boss promised me monday she wasn't leaving, and announced yesterday she was.
That's not right for a boss to do that. Tell him/her I said so. Bad management policy. Everybody or nobody.
Spellit, your doggy looks like my doggy. Is your dog a husky?
kristin/Evonut... Yeah, I am sitting here on the bottom of the totem pole also. ahhaha. Too bad I don't know how to cause some damage... any ideas?
walnut - hatchet if you want to watch some people tumble first chainsaw for complete dessimation
That's what I'm saying. I would rather hang out, just Scout and me, for the holiday. Relax and watch "A Bug's Life" and crap like that, spend the day in our pajamas. But don't play favorites. Give me the chance to gracefully turn down an invite.
any help with pi 6/30?
scouts, turn the table and invite your boss, make like you don't know about these invites :-)
pi6 - fee charged for using someone else's oil pipes... or, slangly, Man, I have soo much pi6 that I don't know what to do with it....
Scoutsmom-- So you don't want to go, but you're feeling bad that you're not invited. Things like that remind us of the relative importance of the workplace, sometimes.
evan, good call, devious, yet sublime...
ok all. time for my exercise of the week.. Ultimate Frisbee time! see you all later. Thanks for all your help! have a great weekend!
mtn - how ironic, that's my husbands pet name for me.
Clue for the last 6-letter word? I have F6, P6x2, T6 and U6
whenever I click on the babblers anon link I just get a page saying service maintainence. What am I doing wrong? Newbie here so need all the help I can get!
Thanks walnutchen! Great clue... Man, I got... LOL
Nothing to do with you. BA has been up and down all day.
Judi, uh6
Hi all, back for a while trying to get my last 31
3 p6's my bad!
having trouble with the ak's here, any hints
thanks. Will keep trying! Only got 76 words and been on this all day (sad but true!) very addictive!
evan, house ke*, car ke* on a ke** ring
I have the U6, Mtnjock. Must be something else.
evanonut what you use to open a door
+ plural
pl6 pl6 pi6, which one do you need a clue for?
No, I do not care to go. But as a former boss of many people (changed careers recently), I know that exclusion does not foster productivity.
epiphany! tx guys
The other PL-6. I have the one that means boards.
Evan, Your husband's pet name for you is devious or sublime.
true scout, neither does dwelling on negatives or making your employees feel stupid and inferior
Judi - A movie Pl****, trains and automobiles...
i believe he intones that the devious leads to the sublime
Thank you for the Pl-6. I'm so stupid I should jump out of one right now.
I am missing the 2 HA 5/12s. Could someone please help me? Thanks.
HA** Christian Anderson (childrens author) + vowel then change the vowel
Schroeder - I love your new icon - LOL
Thanks mtnjock. Who knew those were words? Muchly appreciated.
Done, who needs help, I am here for the next 1/2 hour!
judi - not without a glass of champs you don't
Scout - just have to say that I love your "productivity" comment and here you are babbling -
thanks MAMABEAR, figured everyone should be in costume.
i need the last an 4, i got the one that rhymes with pain and the one that is mixed up nasa
Pouring a big glass of Jack and Coke... Where is the party tonight, seeing our cruise director Lola is out!
Thanks, Evanonut. I'll just drink it on my way dowwwwwwn.
Lola and Anj are both MIA - obviously we weren't invited to the party and on a Friday night at that!
evan - egyptian religious symbol of old
Judi, count to 10 and pull the ripcord
now if i had only paid attention in school...
kristin, they are at a rock concert
Kristin, that just illustrates my point.
evan - think logans run... LOL... or an Kappa Happy
Scout, considering my boss (a VP at that) sits and surfs the internet all day, don't think I feel any guilt for babbling all day
ah to have internet access at work - but security first they say.
what kind of work are you in Evan?
and did you get the an from the Clues?
no i didn't, and i'm in investigations
i'd bang my head off the wall, but it doesn't seem worth it for one word.
evan - very cool about the job! and look at the caps in my last post.
mtnjock, ... you sly devil you!
i shall remember if ever your case comes across my desk
Eeshi - are you there?
as a client or as a someone under investigation?
'm here big mama
i meant, what's up little mamabear??
hmmm, you'd be a client? you kind of need to be a company owner for that. haven't you ever been investigated mtnjock
Hello fellow babblers. Been watching the Sox rally...... how's everyone doing today. Happy Friday!
ah lupe, i'm feelin bad for those astros
evenonut - as they've said in Chicago for the last 80+ years: "maybe next year..."
it takes me so long and a lot of mental energy to get about a third of the words every day. Do you all have jobs or are you all super intellectual?
hi all! :) any1 have a clue for the uh's?
mama 77, i'm an idiot, only ever get half, and i work, just not any more today...mental health day.
Mammabear, Huh?
evan - once about 10 years when I applied to work at FedEx. Got the job.
ditto for me mama77. I'm still trying to figure out the codes half the time and others are thanking the clue givers mere seconds after receiving the clues. Wondering if there are any fakers out there...:)
Gasp! I'm done. Been a while since I finished one.
today is friday - i've worked 7 days full time. how on earth can I get all the words. Help!
don't fell bad Mama77 - I usually only finish the smaller puzzles - but it's so much fun in here I subject myself to mental torture trying to finish the bigger puzzles (to no avail).
Tbug - the uh are the ul but with an h thrown in!
Having brain drain on the last 19, hoping food will help
ah, I'm in good company, Lupe613
ah mtnjock, might have been my company did that, i know we do postal. i don't do postal though, i do department of defense. much more fun, that one.
go Judi, go Judi, here is your glass of champagne or would you like a jack and coke along with me?
LOL Lisabex :-)
Evanonut - being a Sox fan, I am overjoyed at their long awaited victory for the city, however, I also feel sympathy for the Astros. But they have to be happy they just got to play in it this year - their first time EVER!!!!
now as senior tech, I do interviews and background checks for all potential new hires in my department (I am a computer geek)
i've only been playing a little over a week... find it extremely helpful after finding what i can to print the two letter list... mark off what i got and get clues from the alphabetical order
Hey coosin, are you pouring the champers tonight?! :)
Lupe613 and Lisabex - I can connect with you. Can you understand how these people get such wonderful scores when my brain is absolutely drained achieving only one third of their scores?
right you are mamab - they'll go down in history as the first astros team ever to lose in the world series. they lost rather completely too!
mama77 - dont worry I am the same..I work full time (no access to babble in work) so only usualy manage to play for an hour or so each night.have only ever finished 2 !!!!!.its just the fun of it
mammabear: First time our Astros have gotten so far! We're just happy for an excuse to party...that'll be a Jack and water, please.
evanonut glad to hear to don't go postal....oh sorry that was do postal
very PC of you mamabear. I just ran in high heeled boots from my office to catch the motorcade and waive like a child at the Sox players. I figure I make a fool of myself all the time for no good reason, may as well do it for a good cause.
Well yes, been waiting for you to come back... We need our Julie McCoy to get us started, here's your glass sweetie... Let me pour you a tall one.
tyvm mtn :)
Aaah, thank you coosin, need one of those :)
mama77 - just keep trying and hope that the next puzzle is a small one.
mama77 - i finished my first puzzle over 50 words yesterday. 153 words. but I was up until midnite!!! Are you using the crutches? Like clues on the log and a2zwordfinder and google? If I tried to just get them on my own totally, I would be in a strait jacket.
finished about 30 minutes ago, decided to pour for everyone in your absense...
schroeder...worry not, wouldn't care. besides, yours is a bit lower investigation, much easier. mtnjock, isn't it cool the things you find out. well somettimes, sometimes you just want to throw up.
Lupe613 what are the smaller puzzles? CathB Hello How long did it take you to finish 2 games when you work full time
Hola Lola!! Thank goodness - I need a drink to quench my thirst after that humiliating run...
mtnjock - what are we drinkiin? I'm ready!!!!
puzzles with less than 100 words...... at least I consider them "smaller"
so sad to say that I share an office w/Siouxz and together we usually only get about a third of the words - two brains... half the words.. very little work happenin'...
Cosmo's anyone?
mamab - it's five o clock somewhere
tell me about it, there was one that I was sure would be a perfect addition to a team, and then I saw his records and well.... you understand.
Well done coosin! And thanks! Can you take my place for a while longer? Haven't finished yet :)
I find that I am practicing monkey typing more and more.
sure, what help do you need sweetie?
what about me, lupe and mama? hahahahahaha
ask away... I am here to help, cause I have needed it to!
lupe, that monkey typing, its fun as heck!
me too on the making-up-words concept...my vocabulary has definitely expanded tho
Who's tending bar?
Hi lupe! :) Not sure yet coosin, let me get back into it and I'll give you a shout :)
still have 111 words left to get
thats me lupe, what would whet your whistle?
Well pour me a drink and call me done, 'cause I'm... done! Kristin, shoot one of those cosmos down my way!
How on earth did I ever graduate?
mtn - surprise me......
* slap a ten on the bar * gimme a crown
mtn, I'm not finished but I could use a drink. Any gin in your stash?
The biggest help for me is the second letter/points list .. That makes it easy to monkey type all but the longest words .. Just finished btw .. I'll one of whatever whoever is pouring .. Hi kids ..
Yeah Bugzy!!! Cheers!! What am I drinking mtn?
mama77,,they were very small ones and one was on a friday night when i could manage an extra hour or so (normaly 11pm bed for a 5.45 am start)

Well done bugzy! :) Hi torgone :)

Most definitely not, makes monkey typing more fun
*sips on one cosmo while holding the other* Nothing like double fisting!!

**holds glass up** Cheers MAMABEAR!
take you fa 4/7 and go to Georgia! (singing the fantas theme song in background)
My high-maintenance martini, please: shake tanqueray with ice, pour into glass. pull out a bottle of vermouth, show the bottle to the tanq, and hand the glass to me. with a twist of lemon.
Nos da mama77
Eeshi - okie dokie - have fun at work LOL..... talk to you later....love ya

mtnjock - thanks for that clue - a bit tricky to understand as I am from UK but guess GA means Georgia? Anyway, got the answer so thanks
what would you prefer to drink there evan?
*clink* Cheers all! *Buzgy slams one cosmo and starts on the other*
i'm switching to tequila rose
mtnjock - by the way what the heck is a fanega?
tell me how to put a pic up on the site
Lola never says no to more champers mtn! *holds out empty glass*
evanonut - Love that stuff -
8 to go... ke 5/24 - any clues pretty please?
mmmm, tastes like strawberry milk.
ke 5/24 barbie's old boyfriend + if africa were a state its abbr. would be?
sneaks up on you - I got my aunt very tipsy with that - my cousins never let me live that down.... deceptively sweet!
nice choice, I like tequila rose as well.
not only have i not done any work today... i haven't done well worker this puzzle
lupe, what - not deviously sublime
mtn - good hint!
good ole tequila rose... mmmmmmmmmm
Sure - we'll go with that!
Lidl in wales are doing a good line in buubly at the moment - £3.99 per bottle. Good babbling stuff
Hey all, I'm back... didja miss me??
evan and lupe, the deviously sublime duo.
here is your cosmo Jera
Hi Jera - it's happy hour here at the Babble bar! :)
Hi jera :)
thx again mtn... awesome multi-tasking what do you have on tap?
getting cold here, think i'll step out and light the wood burner
hi jera...
welcome back Jera - i need a ke 4/8 i seem to recall a clue a while back about using it to get in a car, but that won't work....
72 beers, from around world and guiness (sp)
mtnjock... where are you? Atlanta, GA here
evanonut - should I fill the jacuzzi early for ya?
Memphis TN
i'd like a 22oz becks then please
i figured you were another southener :)
getting pulled into work for a few minutes - DAMN THEM
ke 4/8 is either multi - of barbie's ex, or a game played in casinos rhymes with reno
very large spanish brandy and ginger for me please - I need inspiration
There you go Tbug, I hope you don't mind a frosted mug, And yes, I am a converted southerner 12 years and counting
what is your dog's name?
Here you go mama77, I left the ice on the side, some don't like their brandy cold.
Beau -- His brothers name is Luke, so I had to...
ah perfect ty!!! here's a tip... dont eat yellow snow! :)
Yeah, what mtnjock said, MamaBear...
Sorry so slow to respond, I was busy cheating with a2z... *hangs head in shame*
that is not right I have a one eyed Jack Russell named Sparky-Doodle
mama - yes! jacuzzi would do the trick
i love my dog
and to quote a wonderful actor- "fire, i have made fire!"
great name! He often gets extentions to his name...
That's ok Jera - I'm sure most of us can identify with you... no shame, just research!
Hey I did my first puzzle just last week with out using morewords.com! It has become a goal to go as far as I can without it
jera - the A2Z can be a lifesaver in times of need
Beau - Jingles :) Beau Bowie
i wuv my dog more... her name's Borealis
Bo Beau
mtn- has beau had his lola snuggle today?? :)
Spanish brandy and ginger! That's the most charming-sounding drink I've heard in a long time. Mtn, let's find someone to make those for real here in town, shall we?
Beau cefus, beau regard, beau jangles...
I usually allow it when I'm running out of time or just burned out with 50 words to go... seem to hit a wall then most of the time!
and yes, beau bo
I have 2 dogs - while we're on the canine subject - one looks just like the one on mtjock's pillow and the other one's name is Bo!!!!!!!
I feel so out of place... diehard cat person here...
beau peep?
sounds great! Betcha side street could!
i love my dog more then my boyfriend! they are jealous of one another...
french brandy - curved glass - not cold. Spanish brandy - long glass lots of ice and very cold Try spanish brandy with chocolate milk - hot. good night's sleep
mamabear leaves room to go start filling up jacuzzi - nice and warm and bubbly.....
have cats too.. Tink and Faux Pas
dang, a2z isn't helping with ap
cats are stinky and they poop indoors...
I have a cat, Zack & my daughter's cat is named Zippy... we found her abandoned in the woods after hurricane Floyd
my cats: link and chocolate milk
... not when u kick em outside! ;)
AP think of your la5 thats not a plural and take off the L
ap word... think big big monkeys without the e
link is my savior, he keeps me from going right off the edge *looks over the edge*
my dog smiles.... it cracks me up
ooops - let me rephrase - think big big monkeys with the last 2 letters reversed..... maybe i shouldn't mix evanonut's goood pills with mtnjock's goooood drinks
mama77 - had a lamumba last week in pollensa...very nice with warm choclate milk..the only thing was it took 2 bottles of cocao to dilute it enough to drink!!!..depends on the brandy
My daughters cat is named skipper (and weighs 2lbs), cause he skips after our dog to beat him up (weighs 80 lbs)
how many words are there today?
Bori (borealis) is my savior too :) :) :)
LOL Meisa
162 words today
Bori... that is a cute name... might have to steal that oneday
I'd rather scoop cat poop than step in dog poop... or have to *gag* pick it up after following them around to watch them do their business. But that's just me.
good pills do not go well with good drinks good tip mtn, you bring those clues right down to my level - so do you mama, but i only saw one cause i mixed those good pills with good drinks
It's the funniest thing ever. He totally chases the dog and stands on his hind legs and just slaps him silly. Good entertainment.
evanonut - did you get the ap?
ScoutsMom - obviously a girl after my own heart. French brandy is not the same. Got to be Spanish only. French brandy served in this way can make you cross! (angry)
thx... u welcome to "steal" it anytime! aurora borealis... aurora to hard to say... sounds like i'm howling myself, so went with borealis, bori for short
Meisa - I'd love to see that! Good show I'm sure!
Back again, see we are on the subject of dogs, I have 2 mini doxies Adolph and Eva
sure did mama...tx meisa, my cat sent my dog (100lbs) to the vet one day.
who needs a re-fill? or are more shots in order?
i'm dry mtn
*decides to apply her Crest Whitestrips to keep busy & cover up her lack of liquor savvy*
the only thing my dog beats up is paper napkins and paper towels.... he has to shred them like they are evil
Hey mtn... how about some shots? Slippery nipples, all around!
coming write up mama bear, more becks Tbug?
my dog obsessive compulsively carries a regulation football around, he looks like a snake trying to swallow an egg.
Bugzy - wait till we get in the jacuzzi for THOSE!!! LOL
Bugzy!!! What in the world?
I'll make you the house specialty, a slippery noodle, 1 part buttershots, 1 part baileys and 1 part kahlua
LOL MAMABEAR....
Can We do body shots?????
evan, mine is addicted to softballs... its sooo funny ...
Oooh mtnjock that sounds good, can I have one please
I will have a glass of Frangelico.....
Ooh, I'll take two of those please mtn :)
evan, hit F5 - I posted a new pick of Beau
Cath B Lumumba is great but after having just one you make sure you tell them in Spain how you like it in future. Asda do a good a good choco milk and they do the best Spanish brandy - Fabuloso is the name!!!!!!
my dog will want to jump in the jacuzzi
one sec... *glug glug glug* another Beck's now mtn ty!
all this talk has made me thirsty...off for a raid in the cupboard...see you later
i don't pick poop... that is why you hire landscapers..
Slippery noodles all around, and here is your frangelico Lupe, and another cold one for you TBug
he looks beaglish
Slippery noodles, sounds good mtn.... for all those who are thinking I'm just being *obscene*, a slippery nipple is a shot of Baileys & butterscotch schnapps. Yummmy!!
I don't pick poop, that's why I have a husband :)
mtn - love it...we had two dogs, but they were too much for us, so i found one a better home.
how do get the icons and flags at the side of your name?
good call, he is a beagle / Lab mix ... I call him a Bagle
meisa, i don't pick poop, i live on a farm. if one lands where i dont want it, i just grab a shovel and chuck it in the pasture.
my boyfriend won;t pick up poop.... to squimish... I always joke that I am the man and he is the woman
mama77 - i usually do but was not in our "local bar"..husband likes the spanish brandy..brought back a few bottles of Terry's
thats funny mtn.. ty for the becks my next dog's name will probable be babble :)
mama77, fill out your profile fully, they will appear after you save it, log out and then log back in.
Thanks mtn - *guzzles the entire drink* - boss just walked in with a last minute assignment!!! Be back! *stumbles out of office*
very cute! I just lost my Beagle (Curious George aka CG) about a year ago... that is why recued Sparky-Doodle
Bugzy - you're not obscene - I've heard of that before. I was going to ask for a Sex on the Beach!!!
MAMABear, no one just asks for A Sex on the Beach, you have to have several if you are going to do it right!
Hold my order for a pina colada in 20 minutes... I think I'll need it...
I could always do Pink Panties as well!
I want to live on a farm with horses and all that good stuff, but then you can't live on the beach where I live. My dog is a cattle dog, bought him from cow farm. I don't think he could herd to save his life. He's little slow. (mentally) likes to bark at leaves and such.
Hackerty - sorry to hear about your beag. I love that name, Curious George, for a beagle, how perfect! A friend has a beagle named Chase, which I love too. (I have 2 beagles myself - Bugsy and Sprite)
mtnjock - one at a time.....
Got it Jera...
I used to have a cat that loved to play fetch with ponytail holder, LOL...
Yes, me too hackerly, losing a loved pet is tough...
love my dog, sometimes he barks at the cows, always barks at the bears. i like the bear warning myself.
Hey, I need a relief bartender, who's up for it? I gotta run an errand...
Yes, bear warnings are good. No bears on the beach, good trade off.
evanonut - thanks for the warning!!! I'll have to watch out for your dog if I ever come visit you!!! Bear that I am
my dog lets me know when the cats are fighting and dug a den in the backyard 10+feet long
allright, mtn... I think I'm setting myself up for something here, but what's in a Pink Panty??
i had CG for about 13 years... it was really tough They become like your children, the best companions anyone could ask for.... Sparky is alot of fun and he has helped me to move on....
A big wolf howl greetings to all!!!
i'll give it a shot mtn
have fun TBug... I be back later guys... happy babbling!
Evanonut is your cat Meisa playing babble too or is it just a coincidence that a player has that name to?
aaarrrrrooooo back grey :)
mamab - your welcome anytime, i'll call the big guy off, besides, he's all bark, no bite.
Downs a slippery noodle and pours his Jack and Coke into a traveller, and heads for the door...
alright what'll it be peops? anyone need a refill?
sorry kristin, my cats are link and chocolate milk (and neither of them knows how to type - actually, they are the anti-type)
later mtn - tx for the help
Evanonut is it just a coincidence that there is a player called Meisa or is your cat playing babble too?
They just kicked me out of work to save on hours. So I'll take a double of what everyone else is having.
Bye mtn!!
wow that cat rules!
See ya mtn. Thx for the drinks!
sorry for the double post - computer problems, I thought I read your cat Meisa hurt your dog, but maybe I missed something - sorry
Kristen, Is that your cats name? I could be a cat, laying around getting my tummy rubbed all day. Not a bad life, except no babble to make the work day less suckey. No really, My parents are strange and I ended up with Chameisa, (meisa for short) to hard to pronounce other wise. Cha-me-sa.
who? the anti-type? that would be chocolate milk
wow... start with a double sex on the beach then...
still doing something wrong - can't get my pic up on the left hand side
i like chamiesa, i didn't get to name my cats, they came pre named by a 4 year old boy.
My kitties are Sace (short for versace) a crazy little 5 month old kitten, and Tess. I think Meisa is a really cool name!
Later, mtnjock...
calling to find out where my hubby is, bet he is last minute shopping for my b-day
o.k. I am in Wales. What time is it in your country and where are you?
bye mtn--call you later & see you tomorrow!
round of shots comin up... tequila, crown, jager?
mama 77, in whose country? if you address the drinking, the saying is that it's 5 o clock somewhere.
I told my mom, it was unfair that i got my name and they go and name my sister amanda. where is her starnge and totally unpronounceable name???
Is there only 2 ge 4/6??
evanonut, is it your birthday? well, say! that's great.
Mama77 - 3:22 pm in Tennessee (USA)
Thx Tbug. Jumping into a thread midstream, I would like to share that the wolf has three cats - Twitch, a 5 yo magpie, and her daughters, Meeper & Creeper, both torties (dad was an orange tabby)
There are 2 ge 4/6.
yes christina.
thanks scout, i alway cringe on my birthday, it seems to carry quite a bit of bad luck with it - today was no exception.
Thank you...
1:20pm Santa Cruz, California.
Sorry your having a bad day Evanonut, but Happy Birthday and Cheers ~
i'm sorry to hear that. but to quote that old TV show, HeeHaw, "If it weren't fer bad luck I'd have no luck at all!"
i woulda thought you had three little pigs grey! :D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY (But it is Friday. No bad luck on Fridays)
thanks guys
Bummer, evanonut... but hope the rest of it's better! Birthday toast to evanonut! *clink*
PS I think it's cute how y'all call me Scout. My daughter would chastise you, but I like it.
If I lived alone, maybe. But the cat's are more baby friendly
skaal, evanonut!
skaal?
However, given their appetites, some days it is hard to tell the difference
mama77...where in Wales are you?
Hi kristinand Meisa Just about to eat a very late dinner and I suppose you are sunning yourself at this time?
NO SUNNING! haven't you ever heard of skin cancer.
Mama77 - its sunny but not even 60 degrees outside - however I am getting ready to leave work and will warm myself up with some cocktails - cheers all, until tomorrow
No sunning for me (redhead/ pale skin) and it's kinda yucky here, waiting for the rain. Hopefully it comes now so my daughter doesn't have to trick or treat in the rain.
evanonut, my Boy is swedish--that's what the swedes say when they toast, apparently. I may not be spelling it right. if not, don't ever ever tell him I invoked the mother tongue incorrectly.
good girl meisa, a credo my hubby should have followed.
speaking of cocktails... this is the quietest, lonliest bar i've tended for awile... :)
Sorry Tbug, I'm not much of a drinker anymore, but make me something fun and fruity if you please.
gotcha scout, how bout a slovak one i don't know how to spell...diebuzsha
Cheers Kristin and everyone else... Time for me to leave the Babble bar, I mean work, too! Happy Friday everyone! :)
had to leave for a spell.... getting caught up on the chatter... let's see. bye mtnjock Hi there GW! And... most important, who's tending bar now? Need another Sex on the Beach
*dims lights... starts karioke machine*
*stumbles out to car; thinks better of it and calls a cab, no, a LIMO, to take her home*
*hands mamabear a stinkin strong sex on the beach*

Any bday plans evanonut?? Fun tubbing with the hubby??
MAMABEAR I think I'll join you...if you don't mind
evanout and meisa - i am a very responsible senior nurse and woud never sunny myself without major protection - 25 at least - but just love the surrounding warmth.
thanks mama, *raises tequila rose in salute*
tbug, another high-maintenance martini, please.
*wipes a tear... hearing bugzy*
Her name was lola.....
good girl mama77 - i drive people crazy with my lectures
Hi CATHB am in west wales - carmathenshire in fact. Anywhere near you?
Mama77, i need like spf10000, very pale with many freckles. Besides I love the rain.
Schroeder - don't mind at all! Sex on the Beach is no fun alone!!!
mama77.Tycroes,Ammanford

ABCDEFGHIJKLOSERSMNOPQRETARDST UVWXYZ1234567890
Hey evanonut, where are you?? If you told me aready i must be having a senior moment at my old age of 26 but please tell again
cathb do you knopw a girl named Tor by her parents? Were you in Cardiff Uni?
shroeder... it was barely a whisper but i think you were wanting a mama special? *hands shroeder hecka strong Sex on the Beach*
whats up with th emean alphabet??
meisa - pa/usa - and at 27 (as of today) my senior moments are greater than yours. :-)
dunno, chief person has a poor attitude
Do you mean grayer than mine? JK :)
well, i am going grey - he he he
no mama77.. not in Uni and wrong age group i think..(hate to admit but now "middle age" as they say..
ignore him and he'll go away.....
After that special drink I hope the jacuzzi is on
Well, in playground fashion: "I'm rubber and you're glue whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you!" (sticking tongue out)
O.K. Signing off. Dinner calls
where would you be meisa, if you said, i missed
the jacuzzi is about half full....... takes a while for a big one - have to have room for everyone!!!
*delivers bubbly and chocolate dipped strawberries to jacuzzi*
mama - you have them all lined up? like one seater two seater three seater four?
Evanonut- Santa Cruz California. (On the beach) tourist town we have the Boardwalk.
oh yeah, i remember now! california, i gotta go there
Meisa you live in Santa Cruz!!! I lived in Redwood Estates for years (just up 17)
it's not too bad but i've lived here my whole life.
Tbug - so thoughtful!!! will put the strawberries in fridge until the uzzi's filled up!!! About 3/4 now.....
Schroeder- Near San Jose right? Sorry, never really make it over the hill. but have heard of it. Where are you now?
Man I hate my cable provider. They have a strong wind and I lose my cable modem signal.
Hey GW - did you sleep well?
business is slow... *sets up bar in tiki hut next to jacuzzi, along w/ portable kareoke, fog, and bubble machine*
Hey MAMA, sorta. My daughter woke up calling my name at around 3:30 but before I could check on her she went back to sleep. But of course adrenalin prevented me from falling asleep for awhile
Tbug- does this bar serve food, I am starved.
How about you?
Tbug - awesome... all we need is one of those little fire pits!!! let me test the water..... mamabear puts foot in jacuzzi and swishes it around..... awwwww... perfect... and almost full
*puts out peanuts, pretzels, and cheezy poofs*
Meisa actually it is at the top of the hill. I live in Pollock Pines now up by Lake Tahoe
GW - slept restlessly - stayed home from work today. been babbling off and on ... how old is your daughter?
I guess I should get some work done, (under extreme duress) since I am getting paid to sit here. My sales have been pretty low today and it's deadline day. Talk at you all later. Evanonut--HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
2 this past august - my little Leo - her name is Kristianna
I see you guys are setting up the party! *lola scatters cabin boys tastefully around the place*
cheezy poufs? who invited Cartman????
my kitten woke me up at 4:30 am playing with the balls we left out on our pool table :)
thanx lola... woohoo!
GW - that's a beautiful name!!!! Your little wolflet!!!
OOOOH Chezy poufs, my favorite. dont want to leave now. Schroder- Get A lot of Snow??? I'm taking my daughter this year to the snow, she's never been and totally wants to go.
help on how many words in this puzzle please.
Thanx. One of these days I will actually make a webpage and post some pictures
lola - ahhhh the cabin boys... now the party's complete... and the jacuzzi is FULL and warm and bubbly - everybody in!!!! I'll go get the berries out of the fridge..... Tbug - lite the fire please, begin the fog and who's first for kareoke???
She is sitting next to me right now. She loves that I can show her music videos from NOGGIN while playing
happy hour! malibu n cokes free for an hour!!!
*lights fire... loses a couplea eyebrow hairs*
tx meisha, just got back from stoking the fire
Tbug - MALIBU????????????? You didn't tell me you had malibu - that's my favorite... pour me a large one please!!!!! mmmmmmmmm I'm gonna have to stay home from work more often!!!
staying home from work is the sh*t.
Okay... I'm ready for that pina colada now!!
*hands mama large malibu and a microphone.. elvis song is playing softly in the background*
shat? shet? shot? shut? not playing hooky though - legitimately ill
Oooh, cabin boys... thanks Lola!!
i'm legitimately off, i was incapable of work
*hands jera icy pina colada w/ a brightly colored toothpick umbrella
Tbug - now you're starting to scare me - how do you know all my favorites??????
staying home from work is only fun when it is by choice. I work for Lenscrafter's and they have started a new hours cutting protocol which is scaring all the staff. Even fulltimers like me have no guarantee of being scheduled iin a given week now
Mama if you start dancing on the tables, we are going to have to question "legitimately ill"
lol... dont know bout the elvis - have seen some malibu references in the past... elvis is just universal! :)
I slip away for a moment and the malibu starts flowing...and cabin boys too....
GW - that's not good. Seems like it's getting harder and harder to just work these days.
Thanks, Tbug... settles in a corner with a cabin boy...
Tbug - well it's nice of you to remember... if we can begin our Elvis tribute with "wise men say...." that would be divine.
happy hour... still about 50 mins to go... free malibu n cokes..anyone????
Oh yeah Schroeder - jacuzzi's full - come on in!!!! There's a cabin boy over there who isn't doing .... oops ..... someone just grabbed him.. I'll let you know when he's free!!! LOL
You said it. But enough depressing thoughts. WE are here to BAbble and party. (Caps are courtesy of Kristianna)
Set me up Tbug!
absolutely *skips ahead to track 5... i cant help falling in love with you*
That song always puts me to sleep & I have 29 more words to find... how about some Def Leppard?? *waves cd enticingly*
*slides malibu down the bar to grey woulf*
tbug! malibu stacys now? bit girly for me...but i'd take another HMM before I leave work...
Some metallica maybe, or some rocking county, no slow stuff :)
Or for the country crowd, some Toby Keith
Oh yeah, Babble, I must be getting back to it. too wrapped up in the party part... if I'm not careful I'll be struggling for my last word at midnite again (and from looking on the stats log I see my last word didn't make it this am!!! I am listed right under you, GW!!!)
I only see 3 icons here... is everybody new or do I have something turned off??
You were robbed, MAMA!
GW - ahhhh Toby.... "if you kiss me like this,......."
def leopard up next... name the song Jera - you requesting someone to take the mic or do you want it yourself?
got my b-day gift guys, massage, cut and color
I'm new, only been around a week maybe two. Can't budget pro babble in just yet.
i cant see many either Jera
Count me in Tbug for a malibu/coke it will keep me busy while I'm prowling....waiting for a cabin boy
*lola sings* Pour some sugar on me! And hand me one of those free malibu and cokes will you?! :)
mama was rapping or sumthin in the middle of her elvis song me thinks?
evanonut - awesome gift!!! enjoy
oh i will mama, i surely will
Can I have a Captain Morgan's and cranberry please?
Cool gifts, I wish my honey would buy me something cool for my b-day. Last year I got a cd, ( which I already owned)
with a wedge of lime.
Tbug - nope just jumping ahead to a Toby Keith song...
*hands shroeder malibu*
can any one help me with the pl/7....just cant see it?
*cptn n cran for minski... w/lime*... woulda been way quicker w/o the lime sry :)
I'm with you MAMABEAR I still have 12 left....those malibu and cokes are to good to pass up. May I have another please
chrissy which one?
meisa, less than subtle hints are the ticket to happiness
thanx for the help with the kareoke machine mama... i was getting the buttons all sticky with booze

I have only 97
no e's
charm and mamabear - thanks, I'm looking for them.
Jadaoz, try looking at Babbler's Anonymous on the right side of your screen. It will give you lots of good stats.
will be back in a few.... gonna check out how to go pro on this puppy
Thanks Mamabear and JW
You are welcome...B.Anonymous is very helpful in telling you number counts.
ok i signed up for the pro thing.... want to see if my message looks any different....
OK nothing different.... maybe if I fill out my profile.... please hold....
MamaBear, you could try logging out and then logging back in?

OK. Let's try this again....
O.K. - can't do it on my own. I have Sk 4/8 and Sk 4/10. Any clues on the missing one - please.
hey torgone? Notice anything different about me???
sk5/18 a chewing tobacco
your missing sk is s + what santa leaves in your stocking if you're not good
Mamabear, did you not indicate that you were a female on your profile?
JW and mamabear - I just got it - thanks for all the help. mamabear - you look great!!!!
mamabear! You grew an icon! Very nice!
JW - I noticed that too - went back in - I forgot to check that little box now I have a pink purse too!!!!!
thanks torgone - yeah, it's been 2 weeks - thought it was time to make myself legal.
Hi all. I am not very good at this, but I keep coming back.
eggtoni - there is no good, there is no bad in babbleonia. hey torgone - you missed a good party this afternoon!! I'm still cleaning up the bubble residue in the jacuzzi
Mamabear, you have inspired me to try to get an icon too...still work in progress.
Hello everyone! I'm back from jury duty. I only need one more. Any clues on sn 5/18? Pleeeeease?
I always wanted to inspire someone!!! It's cute although I must admit I am not a cat person.... I can't decide if I'm happy with mine yet... such important decisions we face in life....
sn 5/18 is a slithery thing.......
Thank you mamabear!
Heya eggtoni - As somebody once said: "The play's the thing." mamabear - I usually miss the party ..
still have some leftovers - would you care for a slippery nipple or sex on the beach????
Yes, and yes ..
Always tryin to improve the vocab.
mamabear pours 2 shotglasses for torgone..... *cheers*
YUM! Slippery nipples!
would you care for one eggtoni????? *mamabear pours another shotglass for eggtoni*
That is one thing Babble will do: Fill your brain with a ton of arcane, obscure, and obsolete words you will NEVER use or even see in modern writing and conversation .. Yay Babble!
Oh, you meant the drinks ...
Thx Mama.
feeling a little frisky my fang-ed friend?
Thx Torgone.
Always ..
If things are always so "arcane and obscure", maybe that is why some of us are always doomed to be nothing more than mediocre!
shall I refill the jacuzzi for a late nite dip?
The fun thing about Babble is that you don't have to know the words .. Using the second letter/points list, you can monkey type letter combinations till a word pops up ..
ceejai - mediocrity is allowed, not predestined
To "jacuzzi" twice in one day - isn't that a bit like sloppy seconds?!
I could SO use some hot tub time right now .. I feel like a stubbed toe ..
ceejai - mamabear cleaned it up after last night free for all :)
Believe me, this "monkey" has definately learned that trick - ever since I saw the term mentioned here some time ago! Love the phrase!
Dianne- but of course - nice and sparkling with brand new bubbles. Oh, and I see you joined the pro ranks also!! More of my inspiration spilling forth?
I'm missing 1 measly pi5/14 and feel like I've monkey typed everything, but have obviously missed it! Send a poor woman to sleep....any clues much appreciated.
Eva - pi + a friend
mamabear - I thought the stats list might help me since I'm Bab anon deprived. How do I get a pretty picture?
Mamabear, we honored you since you had such a nice party for all.
eva, I'm told it's a fig tree
pi5/14 = "A fig tree (Ficus religiosa) native to India, having broadly ovate leaves with a long terminal projection. It is regarded as sacred by Buddhists. Also called bo tree"
Thank you, thank you, Mamabear!!!!!
Dianne - I got mine from Google Images.
And everyone else! A fig tree. Who would have thunk it?
JW - you are most kind *mamabear blushes and lowers head in humbleness*
OK ... torgone or other knowledgeable pro - what can I do now that I couldn't do before besides my nifty stat list?
never heard of tu/4 before
You can bask in the self-satisfied glow of your own smug superiority .. OR, enjoy sharing personal info with other pro Babblers, OR feel happy you contributed the cost of a Happy Meal to keep our little time-waster alive ..
I've never heard of half of the words in this game.
can i have some help for fa 6/33 please?
chiefexec - according to dictionary: To overturn. Often used with over: You're about to tump that thing over.
fa6/33 = A dry measure in Spain and Spanish America, varying from 1? to 2? bushels; also, a measure of land.
Hey Folks, Kristianna has gone to sleep and I am finish up and socialize
I am back to finish... Boy, can you tell sleep dep is setting in?
welcome back GW!!!! Need any help?
Hey, MamaBear - like the cute icon!
torgone - and where does this "sharing of personal information with other pro babblers" take place?
Always... oh, you mean word wise. I have seven left. let's start with both sa 5's
BTW, I love the new look, MAMA
Sa 5/10 - think halo Sa 5/12 - think speak
Sa5/10 - not a sinner but a *****. Sa5/12 - verb used often in the bible for speak; quoth the raven...
Thanks Charm!!!! GW - thought you didn't notice!!!! I got my hair cut too - do you like it??? LOL now down to business - the sa 5's... sa*** - when someone dies who has lived a really good life they become one of these (so the story goes) the other sa 5 - if someone speaks in the Bible - this word is used
Thank you Charm & Dianne, bloody obvious when the sign is there
Yeah!!! Got 'em all!
Now what kind of man would I be if I didn't notice the little things, MAMA?
WTG Jammersbabe!!!!!!
y/w. The fun, and self-satisfaction, really kick in when you get there without the signposts!
GW - a typical one????
Congrats Jammer!
MamaBear, I was not going to touch that one!
how many words are there?
162 words
mama - Should have said sharing personal info with EVERYbody .. Actually, the stats panel can save a lot of word counting, especially on big puzzles ..
okie doke - actually the main thrill for me was choosing an icon!!!!!!!
The real question is: What is the definition of typical? Actually, my next question is: help with the uh's, please?
Uh5 - "One of a body of horse cavalry that formed part of the Polish, German, Austrian, and Russian armies." Uh6 - pl.
uh's - uh + of **** and of sea.... except without the last consonant and then its plural
I am so technaramous - I don't have the faintest idea how to get and place an icon - I can't even cut & paste!
Diane - techna....... geeeezzzzzzzzzzz. that's like a te 12/6005 pointer!!!!
Thanks again, MAMA I have one to go! I'm going to try to get it on my own before I ask again, tho
mamabear - maybe it will be in the next puzzle.
here if ya need me, GW
Don't I know it ;)
*wink*
Hoody Hoo!! Three in a row complete!
Grey - congrats - that's something I've never done!
Way to go, GreyWoulf!
WTG GW.. .... .... but now we are both finished.... what shall we do?
Thanks, I owe it all to clean living and not so clean thinking
Yay GreyWoulf!
a good combination GW, doesn't get you in as much trouble as the other way around!!!
Beware, GreyWoulf. Sounds as if MamaBear would like to lead you down a primrose path. I've always wondered what it is about primroses which make them so dangerous to virtue????
Not me... this bear is harmless. but is known to give bear hugs on occasion.
I think bec primroses want you to think they are all nice and proper (prim, if you will)... all the better to shred you with the thorns you don't see
And this woulf is known to accept bearhugs on occasion
Hey there. I am brandnew here....How is this game different from boggle?
Nope, nope. Primroses don't have thorns. Gotta be some other, sinister, reason....
wisedoggy - it's really pretty much the same as Boggle - you can click on the rules up at the top right hand corner
well, wisedoggy, the key difference is that we all want to see each other finish the board. We are only truly scoring against ourselves, not others
See, that's what the primroses WANT you to believe.
I'm not sure I'm liking this being compared to a primrose stuff....... I am neither thorny nor sinister
primroses have ulterior motives?
Sorry, MAMA, just enjoying playing with someone else's mental blocks for achange. No insult intended
No, no, MamaBear, not comparing you to anything. Just going where the stream of consciousness takes me....
I understand GW...... My response to wisedoggy was more geared toward how to play rather than how to score. Your point was a very important difference that I overlooked......
OK Charm... I wish I could help you get an icon up and running, it's a very easy thing to do, but rather difficult to explain in a chat log!!!!
Not to worry, MamaBear. Not having an icon doesn't bug me in the least.
I have the real answer re: primroses. Apparently, the primrose used to be a focus plant for lust/domination spells. Merely being in the presence of the flower while working a spell would allow one to dominate the will of their target. Thanks to my lady for the info.
Thank you, GreyWoulf. That is worth learning!
How do I get a bunch of them?
GW - thanks for the non-puzzle related knowledge!! I did not know that - and I work in the flower industry!!!
Now, now Dianne, you don't want to go there. By dominate, I mean TOTAL control. The object has no free will, and the bad karma you accumulate will bite you so hard, you will feel it for a looooong time.
i'm getting better at this -- 126 words for the day
great job, pbr
excellent pbr!!!! need any help?
GW - o.k., o.k. - maybe just a petal ............
Dianne --ROFL :D
my head is swimming a bit, so I haven't checked what I have left to find. Some of the clues from you all helped -- like the plumber one..phew, finally got that one
I am probably missing the larger words!
pbr - there are only two 7 letter words ---1 fa and 1 pi did you get those?
wisedoggy (cute name!) - are you still with us?????
yeppers..have both
Yup, still here...thanks for the help.
fa-6 pi-6 pl-6 pl-6 are there more 6's
These hints are maddening. But I like it.
We are all mad in babbleonia

ack...have about 50 words left and only an hour left...a minute a word? yeah right :P
you can do it mlk - one word at a time.
we're here for you, mlk anything is possible
I have a measly 48 words. But hey, I keep eeking out a few more, a few more. 6 and 7 letter words? Interesting......WHERE???????? ?????
I can make up words for the ti6, uh6 -- but of course, that doesn't work.
gets a person dizzy, doesn't it? :)
Uh6 - Uh plu word for earth/property and drop the last letter. Ti6 - what the Wonderbra was invented to do.
wisedoggy - the ti 6 = ti + double consonant + the opposite of down
hi again all.. 4 left.. any clues for ok 5/20?

any clues for the fa 5/16 and the fa 4/7s? I have the fa 4/7 used to cool yourself with
Mangaged to get most of the hints but uhhhh, no clue what these things are....:) This is fun. I willl come back when I am less tired. Screen swimming in front on my eyes doesn't help. 'night all.
wa's let's see wa4 is salary wa5 is plural of same wa4 is what a dog does with his tail wa4 sounds like a boys name (think Wa----'s World) wa4 to pause wa4 a flying stinging insect
You fought the good fight wisedoggy Rest well and we'll see you soon
okay, I have just noticed my typitis is going wonky... sorry I usually spell better than that.
good nite wisedoggy!!! nice to meet you!!!
I've made it to 130 -- that's all for tonight. Been playing this game about a week--it is rather addictive!!!
fa5/16 is the fa4/7 you have with an extra E and the other 4/7 is the singular
isn't though, pbr. I only found out about it a couple of days ago myself.
night all, thanks for the help
thanks GreyWoulf!
G'night, arleneehm
g'nite arlenee - sleep well
GW - are you waiting around for the new grid?????
Lucky, are you out there?
so mama how'd the kareoke go? sorry i didnt make it back to give u a break...
No, I'm hanging out right now to help out and enjoy the banter. But I have to get some real sleep tonight. I can only go with 3 hours or less for about 4 days before I become a danger to others.
Tbug - it went well.. although my voice is rather hoarse for the wear..... but worth it!!!
So, anybody need any help?
My thoughts exactly GW, getting rather bleary eyed myself.
I could use some clues for the kh's, since you're offering
Well, MAMA, you said last night that these wee hours are not your typical hours of functionality.
kh** - not a whole but split in 2 kh** - Gengis **** and the plural
kh** - variant spelling for coffee stimulant
I'm impressed GW - you do remember the little things!!! You are correct, it is not. However, I was off work today which accounted for the late nite last nite and tomorrow being the coveted weekend, well, there you have it!!!!!
thank you!
Being in trapped in retail currently, the only meaning to weekends is that Sunday has a single shift
three to go... pi 6/30 pi 7/44 ul 5/14 help please
what's your count now, mlk?
hail to the Babblers... just coming on to wait for new grid...
pi 6 - pi + the sheet(s) of a book and its plural gives you the pi7
Hi Blaze!!!!!!
Tbug - if you have the Ul6 just drop the last letter.
30 more words left
pi 6 & 7 (pl) think pips and old
couldn't put it better myself, MAMA
we make a good babble-team, GW!!!!
mama you have an Icon now.... looks great....ans GW you are both hanging in there...
ul 5/14 = ul + frying ---
Thanks for noticing Blaze!!! It's been 2 weeks since I entered Babblonia and I was celebrating today with my 2nd consecutive finished puzzle!!!!

LeslieAnn, take the first f4/7 and add fuel to the end
I'm sorry - I shouldn't ASSume!!!! Go with GW's clue....
Grey can't you babble in your sleep?? LOL get rested the grid is up for 24 hours.....
Oh, I can babble alright - it's the ability to keep up with my daughter that becomes the issue. She isn't always understanding when poppa doesn't want to chase her or be a horsie
Well, I think I am going to go hibernate.... having difficulty focusing.... last call for clues!!!!!! Anybody??
Have a good rest MAMA, see you tomorrow!
LeslieAnn, how you doin'?

MAMA, I wouldn't hold out on you. I'm just loyal to the pack. I like to see people succeed.

Yes, the more you babble the better babbler you become.... LOL especially with bizzare words.
Thank you thank you :)
I hope the next puzzle isn't impossible.
we all get em? any more clues needed? if not... *round of champagne for all*
GW - I know - I was just pulling your tail.... or leg... I guess that's why I'm still here too....... it's fun to read "OMG I can't believe I finished the puzzle - thanks!"
which ko's do you have ??
Usually it takes me a few hours to get it all. I do a bit in the morning, a bit in the afternoon, etc. Except when they are the short ones, around 50 words or so. Then I try knocking them out early, even if I'm bored the rest of the day! :)
ko4 is a Buddhist Prayer ko5 is the plural
Ko 5/18 is plural of Ko 4/8.
I have all the ko's :oP You want definitions?
ko 4 is also what you do when you have a cold - spelled weirdly
BTW, nena, excellent work!
ko 4/8 + ko + and take off the d for the 5 add an s
I only have the ko that sounds like someone who is sick
Ko 4/10. Alternate spelling for cough (think phonetically).
mlk - follow TBug's clue and you'll have em
In Hawaii there is an island called Ko**. Reverse the last 2 letters, then pluralize it.
Ko4/8 - rhymes with the little thing you put a scoop of ice cream in.
Sounds like Cohen.
ko4/8 is not a payer but Buddhist teaching story ko + fan - the f
ko 4/8 = ko + and take off the d for the 5 add an s
I hate sleep dep miskeys
Honest. I'm using my math skills as well as my verbal. We should tell those kids studying for the SAT's to play babble! :)
awesome, thanks everyone
lol nena true!
