Jac, I don't know how other people see Tuva, but my take is his sense of humour doesn't dovetail with the rest of us. He has this 'thing' with a 'religion' (a satire of some sort) which he makes constant reference to. Sometimes, people engage with him - sometimes out of frustration, other times it's just banter. But overall, people are being very generous and trying very hard not to be offended when he pushes his message about the 'one true god' of his 'religion'. I haven't seen his post to Miya yet, but I am sure it was probably flippant and he (I hope) didn't mean it.
Because it's 7 long cold months away.........

Jac - I have met so many people like that - People who imagine themselves superior because they have found a way to put down a large group of people as inferior; In this case, people who beleive in God, because it's not "logical". It's just as fundamentalist as fundamentalist religions - "My way is right and your way is wrong".

As far as I could tell, he was telling her she only had a problem becasue she thought she did and that he had no problems 'cos he 'has a life'. She's 13 for God's sake, if there were any nuances in his messages, I would hope that she's too young and unaffected to understand them yet.

We should make an effort to be civil, and we should let the stuff that offens us roll off our backs. It's a game on the Internet, for crying out loud, not a support group. Every now and then I choose to make a comment about my religion in a post. That is MY choice. And I realize that others may choose to say something unpleasant about my religion. We should be civil. Personally, I think the FSM website is hillarious. It's a spoof on Intelligent Design. But that's just my opinion. I don't believe in the thing. But I still think it's funny. But that's just me.

very easy sherb, all you do is follow the intructions when you download firefox. when you get to the part where it asks you if you want firefox to be your default browser, click on no because you can access firefox by double clicking the icon on desktop. that way you don't mess up your IE settings.

he stroked inside me and the stroke effected his eyes. he had a cataract removed from one eye at age one, the good eye developed a nasty one, and they removed it this past summer to only have his iris stick to the implant 2 weeks later. it is now sticking again, and they feel it is his body's way of rejecting it, and thus removal means instant blindness as he had no vision already out of the right. (sorry for the long post)

I'm not into gross, movieman -- that is what I consider to be the failing of most horror movies today... Too many of them rely on the splatter factor to win the viewer -- the Ring legitimately creeped me out because of the story, not the special effects
