If it's not the singular then it's actually the first tu4/8. Also, it looks to me that you are missing one of the first to4's.

Now that I can relax- could someone please explain(very simply) the word scoring to me? It isn't just the sum of the letter points and I haven't figured it out in all this time. As you can see, numbers are NOT my thing.
You take the total of points of the letters of a word. Then, if it's a 4 letter word, you have the total points. Is it 5 letters, then you take the total times 2. For a 6 letter word, times 3. Etcetera. It is in the babble rules, if you'd like to look it up.
Eva 4-letter word = 1 x Points 5-letter word = 2 x Points 6-letter word = 3 x Points 7-letter word = 4 x Points 8-letter word = 5 x Points 9-letter word = 6 x Points

Like blow-semis-off-interstate windy. Now I'm by Missoula. Have you been to Livingston? It is quite beautiful there in every other season besides winter. smaller, my daughter and I have been to a small ranch near there (actually between Clyde Park and Bozeman) a couple of times. Incredible country. My mother did a summer school program in Bozeman many moons ago, also. Winter here is cold, but we don't have the same winds!

Miyavi, one of my students is on his way to London today for break. Since he's only in 3rd grade, his report of how the explosion affected his grandparents (who live there) was a bit off geographically. He thought it was in the center of the city!

i have a stud in my right nostril... had problems with my ear piercings...used to have 4 in each ear...then the top one in my right ear got badl infected so i had to let it close up. so then i got the upper cartilidge pierced, but that also got badly infected. both of them had these huge keloids in them that i had ot have surgery to remove. so now i just wear my nose stud + one pair of earrings. :)

my old roommate was an RA when she was in college. one of the girls who lived on her hall went + got her nipple pierced. it got really, really infected, so the girl decided to take it out + let it close up. when she took it out, there was some long, thin, white stringy thing thing attached to it -- the girl just assumed it was pus or something. then, within the next few days, the girl started losing feeling in the arm on that side of her body, so they took her to the emergency room. turns out the stringy thing that was attached to the piercing that she pulled out was a NERVE. it had healed onto the nipple ring and she pulled it out!!

ren, so do you babble by finding about half of the words like really quick, but then when you have to go to the 2nd letter list, it's just so much of the commitment that rest takes forever? so it's funny b/c I find the first half of any word list in about 30 minutes. Then it takes about 23 hours 30 minutes for me to stick with it to finish the rest.

I read them just for fun. I was drawn in by the first one,The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe. It's the most magical book and it stays with you. Wonderful series. There is an old fashioned christian theme running through, but it's all about being a good person, so it never bothered me.

but i don't know if IDEAS can be considered old-fashioned. i think they can be more or less good ideas, but they should be evaluated on their own strength, not on when they were thought of, or how many people know about them. however, it is certainly true that society is now more secular.

I read an article recently GW, about CS Lewis, and about how he came to write the stories. He had some kids come stay, during the second world war. He had no idea how to relate to them. He found them bored one day, so he made up a story about the wardrobe. Years later, he wrote the books. Isn't that charming?

an idea can be old fashioned... and way out of time for many!... religion is no exception... their theories have evolved and included a much broader sense of our secular society and are now considered modern to many young christians... even acceptable

lickety -- I think the real confusion comes when one tries to label a belief or a belief sytem -- the reality is that the core ideas are always the same -- it is how they are interpreted by individuals that creates conflict :)

i think people may sort of WANT to think that all religions are the same, because that would be a fairly comfortable thing to think. but it just isn't really true.
It's what we call Conservative. That means there is religion here, but you arn't expected to join in unless you feel the need. Settling here was more of a decision based on wanting to give my kids a choice (religion wise) later on in life. I don't consider myself a religios person. (also Consevatism means that men & women are considered eaqual religiously- unlike in orthadox Jewdism)
for instance, the buddhist belief in nirvana is essentially the idea that our goal should be the elimination of personhood into nothingness. the christian idea of a god who is a person (three persons!), and a heaven in which we will all still be persons - but more fully ourselves - is clearly quite different from that.
I agree there are fundamental differences, but most of us are going in roughly the same direction. Joseph Campbell (an anti-Semite) demonstrated that convincingly, I think.

that does make things difficult, GW. it's something teenagers today are particularly bad at. they are incapable of even comprehending the idea that people might not think it's best to just have sex whenever and with whomever you desire. my husband often complains that it is very difficult to teach them literature because they can't understand points of view other than their own.
Part of that is actually neurological in basis, hurshy -- studies have just been released which show that the brain does not finish developing until well into the mid 20's -- as a result, teenager DO think & reason in a different manner than adults
well, yes, the higher reasoning centers do take time to develop. but i believe they've also noticed that it is not so much a matter of chronological age as of STAGES. the more your parents expect of you, sooner, the quicker you can develop. i was capable of making better decisions than my peers at an earlier age.

Do you mind telling what it's about, or would you rather not? hurshy: teenagers do think in such a black and white way, however, they need to be ready to think critically as college is almost upon them. It must be frustrating to convince them that 'Sense and Sensibility' actually has relevance for them.

i know, mab. the thing is there usually isn't anyone to teach them. they're too embarrassed to talk to their own mothers about it, and once they are actually in a relationship, it's complicated. not to mention that girls their own age haven't necessarily figured out themselves what they want or need, so they can't tell the boys what it is! :)

My, I have on leggings over tights with two pairs of socks, legwarmers, a turtleneck and sweatshirt, and what passes for a winter jacket in DC. My calves and ankles are the same diameter as my thighs!
