morning all!
Hello again
HEllo!
Hello all! looks like a C grid!
We've had heavy wet snow all day here -- power lines coming down, etc. If I disappear, it's because we've lost power again.
hi all
Poor cybernan... :( You need a laptop, so a powerdown will not affect your babbling :)
Hi sprite! It figures--- you are here bright and early and I have to go rub Kirsten's back -- I'll be back in about 10-15 mins -- (*HUG*)
r 7/32
146 words, it says
*sigh* still had 9 to go... oh well, on to the next one...
*big hug back* The rubbing is more important than any babbling can ever be, Woulf. Enjoy ;)
R7/32
C7/36
C7/40
Don't I wish though, Sprite
And M7/36. All very common words :) I only have a laptop, no real pc.
First run through yielded only 56 words -- this is going to be tough!
Hit 70 just a few moments ago. I agree!
I have to tell you all... this is the best chat place I have ever visited... everyone is great!! Last night, Jac was in full form... she made me laugh so hard I was crying!!... I love coming here for babble and blah blah...
I'm back! C-nan -- I went and tried Cubis 2 -- it's fun, the time limit on each board is long enough to not feel restrictive
mrP, you are totally, completely and utterly right :D
mrp -- when I googled I came up with bouncy baby -- is that yours?
grey... that is mine!! Like it??
Good day to everyone!
Woulf, when you said 'bouncing baby' I thought... ;) But still counting down, I presume.
Hugs, hi!
mrp -- looks nice -- only took a quick peek though -- will definitely take a closer look when I have more time! :)
N7/36 - 8/50
oh Sprite! the babble song competition was hysterical!!
What song was decided upon in the end?
Another C7/40
(*HUGS*) for Hugs :D (I love saying that! ;) ) That's right, sprite -- all is well and according to plan, so far :)
What song competition?
I think that the archives is getting the 'babble babble' (my one!!) sung to 'rebel rebel' I am too embarassed to repeat it!
The babble parody song competition. Good to hear all is going well! Wish Kirsten good luck for the last stretch :)
Thanks sprite, I will -- she is soooo looking forward to having energy again, that it makes the anticipation all the worse :)
Jacula wants to hold a babble parody song competition so I think she is doing something on bab anon... look out for it... should be a scream!! :)
*quoting mrP in the babble competition* babble babble, your grid is a mess babble babble, you have no regrets babble babble, your words are so sad hot dog babble, that fart word is bad!!
Babble filks -- what will we come up with next?!
oh Sprite!! ROFLMAO!!
Woulf, I know the feeling. My thoughts go with her (and you), with my best wishes.
Hi Sprite and GW *hugs* So far I can't see any of those 7's or 8's.... *stares intently at grid*
I only have the M7 so far myself :)
The N-biggies are not nice, a kind of tumor(s). I have rhyming C7 and R7. And a C7 that was a popular way to pass your time in the middle ages, with the blessing of the church. The other C7 is the same, except for the last letter.
ok i'm doing very bad on this grid
Thanks sprite -- I had just found the rhyming R and C -- but not the other C's -- still need to noodle the N's :)
No fish so far, but I found an interesting E4/8- 5/18 : fresh-water tortoise(s).
Woulf: for the Ns think of getting on one's nerves ;)
Got the N's with that one Sprite... thx
CJ: just keep on looking, the words will jump out of the grid to you when you least expect them to ;)
ty sprite- i printed out the grid trying to find words
Oh... got the M7 now... :o)
Actually, I am surprised, in every grid, that after getting completely stuck at some point, somehow some hidden corner of the grid opens up and supply me with another load of words. Teaches me to never despair, just to go on trying until I succeed, and not just with babble ;)
Did you notice that in almost every other puzzle medical prefixes are accepted as words -- but not in this one!
cybernan, the ways of the enable dictionary are completely obscure to me :D
The grid also helps to remind me that it is OK to ask others for help -- even with the simple stuff :)
printing the grid is helping some
So true, Woulf! We tend to be so hard on ourselves, only allowing ourselves to ask for help when the problems are running out of hand, if even then. And all is so much better if we reach out earlier. Especially with the simple stuff, that sometimes is too obvious to be noticed.
thanks, Sprite -- got the n's
Who would've thought that such a simple game could have such deep meaning attributed to it?
WTG nan! Woulf, I think every game has that potential, if you give it a chance. Perhaps this babble site helps bring out that potential, because of the openness of the chatters about how they experience the playing. Could be that being not competitive has something to do with that, I think.
i found the r7 and c7 that rhyme
Great going, CJ! The church-approved C7 has to do with forcing others to accept the christian belief system, at knife's point if need be.
ty sprite- its like the light bulb just lit up
I always love that feeling :)
now maybe i'll find the n's
three double faults in a row!!! Hewitt deserves to lose!
... and he dug himself out!!
I just cannot count MY double faults. I have been 'oopsed' about a million times already. Today.
Finallly! I have the N's as well :) The other thing I have learned from the grid ---- How to decipher a text that has been through at least two spin cycles! ;D
Finally -- the c's too!
I keep wanting to type in carbs!
i want to keep typing nurse
I keep wanting to eat carbs!!
Hail and hello... to all.... my interveiw was great and I got the position.... I start late in February as a Facilitato/Presenter..... a fantastic day...
wtg Blaze
Huzzah for you, Blaze!!!!!!!
thank you thank you all
You had to bring that up Pres -- now you've got me thinking about chocolate! and pie! and sticky toffee pudding!
congrats Blaze!!
Great news! -- Congratulations, Blaze.
mmm.... pie, and chips, and rice pudding, and pasta marinara....
now you have me wanting pasta and pizza
... yeah... in the same bowl!!
Well done Blaze, congrats! :o)
its too bad i'm stuck at work
oh yes -- chips -- big salty ones!
I am very excited about this new venture.....I will be presenting information on Families raising Child relatives my favorite subject....
congratulations, Blaze! hi all : )
Blaze, congratulations! Well done and good luck! (((Blaze)))
hi babbler
... chips with heaps of vinegar!
(((***Babbler***))) Haven't seen you in awhile! Missed you! ;)
Hi Babbler! Enjoy the grid, this is a nice one. Well... perhaps except for the Cs, some of them were pretty obscure to me. It's 146 words / 4.65 average length / 1673 points today. Good hunting to all of you and thanks again for the great company :)
Hi GW!! I've missed you too! I logged on the other day and just missed you by minutes! (((hugs))) how are things?
bab... can we have aussie theme day for 26th Jan please!!
congrats, Sprite! and hi! :D
mrpresident.... you haven't checked my handbag today, have you? ; )
(Fmitch told me) :D
doing it now (anticipation!!)
Babbler -- Pretty good, though gettin down to the wire -- Baby is due on Feb 3 :) Mama tried to start an impromptu Baby Shower icon display earlier, but not enough people were around for it to go too far
oh you good sport! what a champ!! Thanks matey!!
I knew it was imminent, GW. We don't have baby showers in the UK. At what point do we do them, and what's involved?
my pleasure, mrp ! :D
CJ -- did you know that Costco as really thin crust pizzas called Margharitas (green box) that taste good and aren't too bad on the carbs?
Don't they usually take place AFTER the baby is born?
GW - Feb 3rd is my oldest daughter's b-day. She was due on the 4th.
sprite... it is like a bridal shower... before the big day!
cybernan... ty for the pizza tip..... thankfully i'm a naturally thin person..in fact i'm trying to gain about 15 lbs
mrp - Most of our baby showers here in Canada, at least in Manitoba, are held AFTER the baby is born.
..... we don't have bridal showers either.... : / what happens then?
I think the timing is up to whoever wants to organise the shower -- I have seen them before to help the new parents stock up on needed supplies and accessories -- and I have seen them after to fill in the missing supplies -- also after you know the sex of the baby so you can get the right clothes ;)
ahaaa, so showers are presents?
the bride gets really plastered... gets a stripper... gets a belly button ring.... and wakes up in the morning with one eyebrow shaved off!!
babbler... a shower of any type is like a party where you give gifts and play silly game, time to celebrate
lol mrp!! we call them Hen Nights over here! :D:D:D
CJ: you can have mine :) I have some lbs to spare :D
We call those Stagettes here
Babbler -- a baby or bridal shower is an excuse to get together and throw a party with the theme being to celebrate the imminent event (birth or wedding) -- the idea is that the guest of honor will be 'shower'ed with gifts to wish luck and demonstrate love :)
CJ, I picked up a few extra lbs over Christmas. Happy to share!! :D
lol sprite i will take them if i could
we have a combined hens night/ bridal shower... lots of fun and presents!!
Cj -- why the need to gain weight?
well, if we have a baby shower for you on 1st Feb, would that be ok, GW?
Woulf, did I mention my daughter is born on Feb 3th?
i'm 5'7 and about 105 lbs.... but i've been like this for 7 years.. i just think i would look better and feel healthier maybe
Sounds good to me, Babbler! We already know that it's a boy so let's have some fun!!!!
Sprite - so is mine! :o)
hugs you have mail
If you're naturally slender, CJ, I wouldn't worry. : )
Mine is Feb 23rd
sprite -- I think you may have, but I had forgotten -- so Sebastian will have some great company for his birthday celebration, with both daughters :)
my daughter is feb 24th
This is getting weird :D If your son behaves, we will have 3 babble kids with the same birthday. What would be the odds in such a relatively small community??
* sprites and Hugs for those who got lost ;D
GW - done. : )
Sebastian?? What a fantastic name! Great choice! :D
Ooh, CJ -- I have 15 pounds to spare!
I have multiples of 15 pounds to spare....
cybernan send them my way
CJ -- have you actually consulted with a doctor before trying to add the weight? Babbler is right, natural tendency does play a big part :)
cj if you have been at the same weight for 7 years then that must be your natural body weight... do you feel good are you active ???
For 6 letter words, I have the following: ce, cu, de, duX2, or, ra, ru, sc, un Can any of you tell me what I'm missing?
my doctors encourage me gain weight i have never been heavier than 110 lbs, my father is a naturally thin person so i don't think that i will get to be 120 lbs unless i have a baby
My last word on the topic, CJ, before I look like I am preaching --- What ever you do, please be sure to be healthy about your food choices, ok? :) We all care about you (*hug*)
Doctors don't always get it right, CJ.
Blaze i love going to the gym and love running but i don't get to do it much anymore... i'm very busy with work and college... i want to play softball this year.. maybe it will happen
me too, last word. : ) ((hugs))
CJ - I am 6 foot and 130 pounds... can't gain anything either! But I have to try and try to stay healthy!
You are missing ca, another ce, co, do, ma.
GW before i graduated H/S i was going to join the military.. they would not take me because i couldn't gain the weight...
CJ, mrpresident, what happens if you stop trying to gain weight?
Not to worry CJ -- at your age I was 15 pounds underweight too -- then I hit 35 and it's been the battle of the bulge ever since!
at my age, and with two small children to chase, I get sick and lie down!!
CJ -- when I graduated, I was 5'8 and weighed 107 pounds.
Then by all means, Good luck in your endeavour, CJ -- Hopefully you will be able to achieve both goals -- my former housemate was denied the ablility to serve though she wanted to and is very bitter these days as a result -- I will send positive mojo your way to help if you like :)
Thanks, Sprite
hmmm.... *makes mrp a peanut butter and jam sandwich* ; )
bab... in the same sandwich??
*makes one for CJ too* : )
I say thin or not.... just enjoy life and Live it to the fullest.....
babbler i have to eat at least 2 meals and 4 snacks a day... i have hypoglycemia .... so eating is a have to
oh mrp!! haven't you tried it?? it's yummy scrummy!! I like brown bread, crunchy peanut butter, and blackcurrant jam. MMmmmmm!! :D
CJ, that sounds about right. Anything less and you'd faint.
... I've been deprived!!! I am going to try one!!
bab.... blackcurrant jam???
oh CJ! yes, blackcurrant. It's divine!! My favourite jam. (but I only have strawberry jam if I'm having a cream tea).
lol mrp!! wave bye bye to 105lbs! lol! : )
my fav. snack is peanut butter and red apples
CJ, I really like peanut butter and kiwi fruit. On rice cakes.... (lol!) yes, I am a bit adventurous...
peanut butter and green apples on a bagel is good too
that sounds intersting bab
I love vegemite, avocado and cheese melt!
yummmy..... not tried it with a bagel before..... ! :D
oh mrp! sounds gorgeous! we call vegemite 'marmite' over here. I love it! CJ - the juicy kiwi fruit goes really well with peanut butter, I think. : )
morning all

I wish I was sleeping beauty, Bubbles, (haven't slept a wink!). : / How are you?
mrp, I appear to have found them, though I have to say, I'm just bashing at the keyboard! lol! :D
i'm ok thanks, i'm only at work till 11am so i'm counting the hours down!!! How comes you didn't sleep?
lol... I pick up my mouse and bash it on the table when I get frustrated!!
I'm an insomniac, Bubbles. Sometimes I don't even manage a wink, though usually I manage some sleep at least. : /
lol mrp!! top tip - aim the mouse at the keyboard, yeah? ; )
bab... you are right.... I would get heaps more words that way LOL
i normally try to get at least 8 hours, bobsta can set his watch by me, 10.18pm and i'm asleep, even though lately its been about midnight. Anything nice planned for your day?
you lucky thing, Bubbles!! I'm planning on going back to bed at some point. Too mashed to do anything productive. : /
LOL mrp!! :D
when we move to the house i won't get that much sleep as by the time we've finished working and then esating it will be late and then i;ll have to be up at 6.30am to get to work on time. AAGGHH. You should put a boring film on, that will send you to sleep.
eeek, Bubbles, I'm not sure I like the sound of that! I know, you'll have to find a fabby new job like Bobsta's, but closer to home. :/
i could transfer to the hospital nearer to home but then i would'nt be doing what i do now and i love my job. Bobsta started his new job yesterday, it was the induction day!!! (I hate the induction days)
can you please help with ma6?? it is hurting my feeling!!
oh wow! say hi and good luck to Bobsta for me? Hope you find a good solution to the sleep/work thing.
i've only just started so i don't have it, sorry mrp

i will do, he's in bed at the moment, he's got a terrible cold.
awwww, poor Bobsta!! *makes lemsip, reaches over and puts it on Bubble's desk*
thanks, i will give it to him. Don't give him too much sympathy though, i'll never hear the end of it!!
ok, Bubbles *wink* ; ). A cold becomes flu, right?
spot on
what type of crappy words are the em's!!
they look backwards, don't they, mrp? : )
they sure do! I would give those turtles a better word than that!!
is that what they mean? do you know, I haven't looked up a definition for absolutely aaaaaaages!! bad bad bad.... :/
top half of the grid to go... that is like a million words to me!!
have you got or6/24 by any chance?
or6 - take the du4 and add the or to the front!!

I don't like it much either Haz
I'm glad that it's not just me. Possible words just peeter out and I'm getting frustrated.
Haz... Sprite told me to pick up the mouse and throw it at the keyboard.... it often helps get more words apparently LOL :)
I think I'll stick to taking a break! Doggy walk time calls.
sorry not being rude, got spooked by the window cleaner and had to get showered and dressed so I could pay him
Good morning everyone. Is there a theme for today? I have the fishy cu7 & 8 but haven't been able to find the church one. Any clues?

Okay cat lovers- once I get the second cu7 I will get up and feed the cat. But I could use some help here. Feel like I've tried every combo.
Eva the theme today is fairy tales
Thanks Missy- I'll be glad to trade the dementor in for something far less lethal.
same as word above it only with a different vowel at the end
Missy- I don't know what the word above it is. I have the other cu7, but it ends with a consonant.
sorry...that was a cr word you want a word that rhymes with du6/24
cu7 is a plural fish that rhymes with your ru6 and 7 combo

jdtp - 146 today If you click on the 'Babbler's Anonymous' link on the right hand side of this page, then go to 'general' and look at the first post, it's BrandyJack's stats list which gives you totals and letter-lists. Or you can become pro (small payment) and get the stats grid.
jtpd you can get word count and stats at Bab Anon..... the site has a link under friends of babble on the top right corner of this site...

Good afternoon all. I see MrPres was looking for me. I'm here for a short while now but it looks like she's gone off to watch the tennis. Quite a tricky grid this from what I've been so far.
I'm drawing a complete blank on this grid. maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow.

Hi Jac! How is your day today? Hope all is better!
How does that work? It seems the minute I break down and ask...I find it.
which me do you need?
lol gram.... it happens all the time!
mrpresident, I found it right after I asked. Ty anyway.
I am unable to sleep.... again... CLUES GALORE if you need them!
Gramma - It happens to Peri all the time. LOL. MrPres - Fine, thanks. Have to go out soon though.
mrpresident, it seems our postings are off a bit.
Good morning, everyone! Back for more, oh ye gluttons for punishment?
go out!! you lucky chick!!
Hi Jera!
do you guys wanna hear my post xams ode??
Hiya Jera. MrPres - It's 13.38 here in UK. I meant go out to the shops, not go out as in go OUT for fun. LOL.
Jac... take the credit card and beat it into submission! Retail therapy is a blessing!
MrPres - is it the one you put in BabAnon. You just beat me to it, if so. Someone e-mailed me that poem the other day.
I'm home with Gwyd today... he was up most of last night with coughing & fever... poor baby, it's really not fair...
jac, that's the one! I laughed so much...!
Oh, by the way. Had a reply back from Dr_God about the parody song for Babble. He says he's no preference for what song we do, free choice. I'll put a thread in BabAnon for people to put their ideas and attempt in.
jac.... excellent!
Jera - Hope Gwyd's better soon.x MrPres - It's P's birthday pressie I'm off to get. Oh, and probably some more 'hairy' wool for scarf knitting.
I love hairy wool scarfs... my kids go mad for them!!
Are those the really soft & fuzzy ones? Sprite is working on one... I plan to steal it as soon as she's finished!
being on the other side... I don't start knitting until May!
MOrning all!
Hi Jen!
Any hints on AR 5?
Jera, yes. So far, I've done one for my Mum in iridescent shades of peacock tail, one for P's Mum's birthday (which is today) in a pink & blue mix, one for myself in lovely jewel shades of garnet and green and I'm working on a plain white one for my daughter now.
ar + c + another work for last vowel + the letter before s
Oooh, fuzzy scarves??? I've made about 5 for myself! I love being able to make something in 2 night's worth of TV watching!
can anyone do a fuzzy pair of mittens...? please?
NOt me, not yet at least. My knitting is a lot like my quilting... straight lines only! :)
Mr.Pres - I should have a pattern for mittens somewhere. I'll post it to you via ez-boards message box if I find one.
Jen, I would pay sooooo much for a quilt!! Please quote me and I will give you my email! (everyone here is witness to this)
Think I'm going to leave it at 86 words found for now. I'll be coming home in the dark if I don't go out soon. TTFN all.x
Oooh I love peacock/iridescent... the one Sprite has is more of a raspberry but sooooooooo soft!
Thanks. Even monkey typing would not have helped me on that one. 'tis enough to make one use expletives.
thank you jac!! You are the best mum in the world!!
{{{Jen!}}} How are you today?
LOL! I am soooo slow when I quilt! I have 2 friends pregnant and I do baby quilts for all my friends... I am just hoping I finish the 1st before the baby is born in March!
Jera - the peacock wool is Patons Whisper shade 00001. My jewelled shades is Patons Whisper shade 00006. Must go now. Byeee!
Bye Jac! Hey Jera!
bye Jac... have a lovely nite/day!!
Ok, any clues needed.... I am ready!!
All this warm fuzzy talk makes me want to go back to bed!
i love it when you guys talk about knitting :) mrpres, check out my site, www.wearescarves.co.uk - i can knit mittens for you :)
all this warm fuzzy talk makes me want to find my husband and.... ask him what scarf he wants for winter!!
Well I gotta go warm up, chilly in the front room this morning... 60 words earns me a break, right?
mia, I knit childrens jackets and cardigans, I love to knit and your designs look gorgeous! I have a childrens/baby store so have alot of clients for kids knits!! I should link you to my page!!
Jera, you are a champ... break and return with gusto!
I must retire.... it is soooo late... must get at least 5 hours sleep.... see you all later!!
Bye Jera and mrpres!
Mrpres, that would be great :) my email is talkative@gmail.com
mia - you should make little ipod covers - one of my friends who knits does that and sells them!
actualy Mia, can I give your email to another of my friends? She lives in Cornwall and is a budding costume designer - she loves finding other crafty people around!
Anyone out there have a clue for the ne7?
Nevermind... monkey-typed it
any clues for the ad 5/16?
Jen, new rule ['cuz I just made it up.] If you ask for a clue ...you have to give a clue :}
Sorry mia... I'm working backwards, so only up to M's.
atlante, go ahead :) and i have knit icozies in the past, they're very popular :)
I bet - its much nicer having a cool cover rather than a vastly expensive apple one! and TY - I will do!
Mia, do you knit those like you would knit a cap? I actually did manage to knit a cap for my son.
i knit hats on straight needles and then seam them, so yeah, same process for the cover :) they're really, really easy. just a rectangle, folded in half and seamed.
Okay, cool! That's how my Grandma taught me to knit the cap... on straight needles. I'm not ready for the knitting in the round!
mia - ad5 = ad + not your aunt but your ***
hehe, me either. i just started cables tho, they're really fun!
thanks for the clue dsp, i'd never have got that
any clues for the cr7's?
cr7 - knights of old used to go on these to the Holy Land and then change last letter for alt sp for the other 7
i'm stuck on two of the cr4/6's actually, little critters!
one of the cr's i4 s a short version of another name for alligator
the other cr 4 is what college students are known for doing before tests.....
haha, i'm totally working from the wrong c. thanks for that!
whoo, half way!
wtg Mia !!
that was a horrid horrid grid :(
Blech! I used to think re words were the worst, but du is definitely running neck and neck!
FMitch - I agree (though I just started)! I thought it was just me being slow today....
No Bugsy it's not just you :) Jen watch out for the cu's and su's too, oh and don't forget the u's all be it there are only 5 of them!!!!
At least the y's were relatively easy... :)
True, true.
U's were pretty easy for me, but not looking forward to any of the C's!
well I've managed all the Cs but not finished the Ys or Us!
Atalante: Can I please have a clue for the ca6/21 Thank you!!
Hello.
Morning harpjane!
Hi Harpjane :) Is the theme fairy tales today, I'm guessing?
CA6/21 - it rhymes with the thing you store beer in!
ca6= A partially partitioned nook in or near the stacks in a library, used for private study.
Fairy tales. Mine's the harp from Jack and the Beanstalk.
I'm stuck on ce6/24 (2nd one) & ar5/14?
Yup, fairy tales today. While I know The Princess Bride isn't a classic tale, I think it's a wonderful story! :)
Oh (%*$! I'm a librarian. I should have seen ca6/21!! Jen- I love the Princess Bride. "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die" :) Off to find a fairy tale - back in a few :)
*sigh* I've got rid of Darthy - got a fairy tale pic too now :)
not a fan of Princes bride, but I did meet Mandy Ptempkin last year!!
ca6/21 was the first word I saw - habits from PhD days are obviously too engrained!
It's one of my favorite movies and the book is even better! Especially when one pictures Cary Elwes! ;)
afternoon all! :)
<<EvaN>>!!!
just getting started babbling, im afraid! alarm decided not to go off this morning, so i was 2 hours late for work! :X
had a better icon idea. david bowie in tight trousers. very fairy tale-y :)
Evanadine I love your icon! Too bad her feet are cropped out. Sleeping Beauty, I assume. I picked out some ballet sleeping beauties too. Ishult, you met Mandy Ptempkin? He's so gorgeous. Sometimes I like him a lot, and sometimes I think 'schmaltz.' It depends on what he's doing I guess.
Oh my goodness! I am waaaaay beyond stuck. I walked away for awhile hoping my babble eyes would return; but, to no avail. This could be a long day:{
her feet actually are in there, its just very hard to see with the icon being so small... and its clara, from the nutcracker -- my favorite fairy tale of all time!
Evanadine - he was staying on my Kibbutz for a couple of dayd, taking part in a bike ride. The longest conversation I had with him was when I pointed out the way to the bathroom!!
the ne's anyone?
Oh, of course, evana. I thought at first she was holding a mirror.
morning all! or afternoon or evening! pick your favorite or favourite! : ) anyhooo, is there a theme today?
ive got a second icon for later, same theme, that i think will be clearer...hehe
ne: A tumor composed of nerve tissue (and the plural). Or, think not mas. or fem. but ... then add a certain kind of tomato (the one that is smaller than a beefsteak)
Ishult, I don't have a single ne word. So I'll be lurking here w/bated breath...hoping someone helps you and vicariously me:]
that would be a 7/8 combo... woohoo!
smaller, today's theme is fairytales
thanks une! the tears of neglect were beginning to well
Good morning! Any help with the ma 6/27?
sometimes requests get lost in the chat . . . :-)
Morning Nonny! The def is "a dark-brown strong and slightly sweet cigar"
: )
Ma6 sounds like "angry" + "unit of currency in europe"
ne7: ne + opposite of me + capitol of Italy
ne8 is the plural
hoe can anyone smoke cigars? *shudders with almost cigar phobia*
Atalante, when they are good, they are very good... when they are bad, they make you puke! :)
thanx evandine & jen
the smell just makes me feel so ill! though I'm sure good ones are a great delight if you like them!
i agree . . . they're just nasty
Anyone have either ce6?
ce6/24 is a kind of cactus
jen, one is a type of tree or wood o that tree, 5, plus the plural.
'The ce6 of Lebanon' Don't have the other yet.
wood with a wonderful fragrance that people often use to make chests and closets
Thanks maband Une... couldn't see the forrest through the ce....! :)
Jen, LOL!
the other ce6/24 is - : genus of much-branched treelike or shrubby cacti with pronounced ribs and rounded needlelike spines and nocturnal flowers usually white.
Can I get a WHOOT!?! Done!
Hurrah Jen!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woohoo Jen !*!*!*!*
congrats!
Okay, I really need to hit the gym... anyone need anything before I go?
OOps! Jen, I read your last post as 'I really need to hit the gin'. ROFLOL.
Jac, roflmao! Still a little too early for that yet. :)
gin tastes like chritsmas trees...heh
eva!!! It does!
I gotta agree with you EvaN... the only thing gin is good for is soaking olives. Well, then I am out of here. Have a great rest of the day everyone! :)
That'll be the juniper berries.:-)
Have you guys eaten christmas trees? How do you know?
heh, fmitch...good point! gin TASTES like christmas trees SMELL. :D
It tastes the way pine trees smell - at least that's my line of reasoning.
Nice ice-cold with tonic and a slice of lemon though.
Gin and tonic is a summer smell to me as that is the only time I drink it. Funny how smells/taste and music can be so evocative.
Indeed, yes, FMitch.
de4/7 anyone?
never mind, got it!
(Sounds like that 'Happy' programme The Fonz was in.)
thanks jacula!
2 summers ago, I made gin and tonic gelees, served on fresh slice of lime. Had to make them several times since. Even people who don't care for gin seem to love them.
any hints for the 2 Ns in the corner?
gramma, thats sounds great - perhaps you could post the how to do on BabAnon?
You can find the recipe in Bon Apetit. There's also an agave watermelon, that is amazing.
nu4--alternate spelling of the word for geek, then the plural
thanks une...surprised i didnt try that before...
They sound nice, Gramma.
Just looking for my final word, cr5/14.
thanks gramma, after the day I have had - anthing with alcohol in it works for me.
eva . . . monkeytyping at its finest!
FMitch, I didn't mean that the way it may have sounded. I don't have the recipes here. They're at our lake house. Sorry, if I sounded curt.
Not at all gramma!!!!
All done.
By the time I finish typing a mesage ..others have allready responded. I'm a little slow w/ this computer stuff.
Gramma - I'm searching the Bon Appetit database. Do you have the exact title of the recipe?
I thought it was gin and tonic gelees. God only knows the way my mind works. It was a summer issue. Margarita watermelon was the other name, I hope
Gramma - Thanks. Can't seem to find it at the moment. Never mind, I'm sure I can put a recipe together. Would be nice if you can help out with a list of ingrients. Don't worry if you can't.
Hellooooooooo =o)
is someone talking FOOD....
gin and tonic......gin and tonic....did someone mention gin and tonic........suddenly alert bear
did someone mention liqour?
ooo food and liquor!
Boozy jellies is the subject. Gin & tonic gelee served on a a slice of lime. Gramma makes them.

Jacula, I was looking on line too; but, no luck. I recall the gin and tonic ones were made w/unflavored gelatin, obviously gin and tonic, and I'm sure something else..??..?..?served on fresh line slices

Gramma - I've found a recipe. I'll put in BabAnon now.
hi all any clues for the last ca 6/21 ca5/12 please
ca6/21 it's a small individual study area in a library--rhymes with what you store beer in
Rosa ca 6/21 - what you sing at christmas put change the last vowel ca 5/12 - take the last two letters off and pluralize it
ca6? Me7? I've got to go to work in a few minutes.
Thanks uni and mary jo
me 7 - use a tape to find out how long things are
Well, I finished the grid a while ago and it's that time of day where I have to get busy with things domestic. The gin jelly recipe's in BabAnon now and I must go. Happy Babbling, folks!
Bye Jacs .... steer clear of the gin....
Jacula, I'm sorry, I wasn't looking at the log.

can I have a wee clue for the ne7....pretty please
NE = opposite of me + capital of italia
This clue is from earlier... It helped me ne + not me but * + capitol of Italy
Thank you Evan... I think it was you that gave that..
no, wasnt me either...heh...i just thought it was a good clue when i saw it earlier
today's grid is a bear. thanks for the help, and I'll be back to work on it more in 8 hours.
Thx Eva and MaryJo.....and Angelsong hope that bear statement meant BEAR = difficult but challenging...Lol
hi all : )
Hey Babbler.....can we have a David Bowie Day...
hiya babbler! looks like youve got the icon themes filled in for quite a while now! hehe
un 6/21?
un + re4/4
un6/21 - not to dance
Thanks.
hi tbear, evanadine : ) tbear, David Bowie day is ok by me. What does everyone else say? Also, I just thought of Musicals (theatre and films) and I also thought of Tarot Cards, but if that's too scary, playing cards. All in favour, say aye!
Jacula, are you still here?
aye aye aye aye aye aye aye aye to DB
I probably haven't had enough coffee, but the ne 7 hint went right over my head...
ne7 - German for new plus Italian rendering of capital city
Or ne word to do with nerves followed by shortened version of mother
Last clue worked on me, excellent, thx!
you're welcome!
aye
hi rosalind : ) just skipping off to msn... brb.... : )
....or the scent new Germans give off.
Hi kids! Just stopping in for a quick hello...not sure if I'll have time to start the grid - travelled for work last week & I'm catching up like crazy now that I'm back in the office!!
Sounds like fun Blue! Hello.
Eastern....do yourself a favour and don't start this one...it's a BEAR
Hi Eastern,dont work to hard!
Seconded - it's a horrible grid.
back! i am having difficulty with the short du words...for the cluster of three, i have only one of them...clue please???
i'm just dropping in to say hi before i go to the bank...and parts unknownnnnnn
thanks for the heads up...I will resist the urge today (if I can...at least for now!!)....
Hello :)
tbear...this grid should be right up your alley then!! tee hee hee!!
tbear...if you say it's a bear...i believe you!!!
Ahhh, it isn't too bad, except for the expected "what the heck is that" word you always get....
hi bunny+all How are you today?
like steve martin's snl routine...what the heck is that?
Good, just got outta bed a few mins. ago (yes it's noon)!
It's a Bear....but nice a nice cuddly soft centred bear like me....I would never be this hard
MAKE that 'not a nice.....
You know, I don't think I've ever watched SNL. Big Conan O'Brian fan. OKEY DOLEY!
tbear - too true...you & mamabear both!! I think it's wrong to compare a difficult grid to 2 such nice bears!!
Snuggles Eastern deep into Bear armpit......phew!!!
Two of the du words end in a vowel and the other in n. The same third letter for all.
Haz, great clues, I needed those too. They should put you on the payroll!
What a nice thought!
*getting drowzy in tbears cuddly....* ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Shhhh Eastern's fallen asleep....it's either over-work,over babble or over-powering bears armpits....
hi caitlyn!
Hi efor........are you okay?
Sorry did i wake eastern?
Poor Eastern, overworked and them shoved mercilessly into stinky bear pits, quick, www.suredeoderant.com!
Can someone take over from me...as a bear cushion...have to tend to Lamb Shanks.....mmmmmmmmmmm
She can use my dog..pass her over
Well, Cait's got the dog if were going for animal snuggling in the pits... hey Babs, new theme!
bunnyvicious...don't be jealous....I have two pits you know
What was that you said yesterday Cait, great minds...lol.
Huh? *jolted awake by ringing phone at work* Whad I miss?? oo \_/ Thanks for the snooze spot tbear!!
Ahhh, so sweet TBear, but I think bears eat bunnies when they can't find fish. I smell a trap. Just remember, I am vicious!
Ere....how did my bear pits become topic of the hour, they had a lick and a promise earlier...they're just fine and dandy...you know
*slinks back to work* see you later!!
Bye Blue!
Bye Eastern lolx
bunnyvicious....REFRESH pls and watch it!!!
Eastern.....anytime hun
LOL!
how many words today, guys?
GoBraves 146
thanks tbear
ce 6/24....feeling needy today
never mind, monkey typing won the day
ce 6/24 this sounds like the latin name for star called "the dog star" ce4/5 (word above ce6/24) + word for not "them" but "**"
GGGrrrrr bunny give us a clue then......
bunny same as word above +vowel and constanant
sounds like the character on Harry Potter who was wrongly imprisoned
Missy, cute pic!
sorry caitlyn i was afk... why did u ask if i'm ok?
thank you bunny I never understood this particular fairy tale...lol
Sorry wrong spelling!!!!!!!!!!!! Need a drink!!
Read something about gin slushes earlier....
lol I was wondering when they would get around to making them in booze flavors
Barcardi please!!!
I don't think beer would hold well as a slushy
I dunno, they make those coke slushies, they're pretty good. A cheery Coors Lite Slushy, hmmm
Is everyone quietly working on the puzzle?
Puzzle? Oh, yeah!
Hic..............arent we supposed to be babbling ?Hic.......
Don't know if it's just me....this puzzle has me blocked
Nah, we've swithed to gin and beer slushies!
wow, are we still chatting about drinkies?? hehe
Coors is not to my taste. I prefer the microbrews we have around here or a Heineken
tbear...when I saw the letters in the grid I immediately began monkey typing wildly...not even looking for words. I found about 40 that way!
My best mate made me Damson gin for my birthday....it's wicked!!
mmmmmmm.....frambois slushy!!
Have you tried sloe gin? Hic........
You betcha....used to pick and make my own
mojito anyone?
Ooh, I have. Godd stuff, but my preference is 1800 in a shot glass.
we do every year :)
ty haz - i was kicked out for a while... i have the du4/6 group now need the du 5 below them...anyone?
Nawww bunny....black sambucca
I feel so puny next to you hard liquor lovers. I've never acquired a taste for it but I enjoy beer
We're just a load of Lushies
I waited tables for forever and our kitchen staff was all Hispanic, so it was tequila or bust when we played quarters or cards after work.
So my husband thinks!!
Well, if there is a worldwide boggle convention, we know to reserve a hotel with a bar!
du 5 the first du5 is the plural of the above word the second du5 add the letter "c" to the word above it
still prefer black sambucca....but any tequila in a storm
haven't had Sambucca, what is it?
Surely you mean a bar with rooms....hahaha
Aniseed flavoured,sticky stuff
ty missy - i typed that word in already - guess it got lost when the site booted me out : )
YW Did you get both of the 5's? There's two of em
Syrupy stuff and I don't get along, I can mix any clear or brown liquor all night, but after that first drink of Hot Damn or Jager......ughhh!
actually 4 of em but I think you meant the ones I gave you...if not Ill post the others
if you guys are into rummy, kinda fruity drinks, i highly recommend the italian surfer
Het evanadine is that a man or a drink?
next du5 (with the double consonant) add vowel at end the du6 is the plural of this word next du5 is plural of du4/6, (four words up from the bottom of the list)
Eva whats in it?
sa 6.21 please? do tell evaN...
2 parts pineapple juice 1 part amaretto almond liqueur 1 part Malibu coconut rum
Oh, I've had that, just didn't know it had a name. It is good.
mmmm.... malibu.... <drools>
Think my favorite mixed is a royal f*** or italian screwdriver.
ive only had it in shot form... only had it at this one place where i walked up to the bartender and said "make me osmething sweet that i probably havent had before" that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship...hehe
sa 6.21 Temple You probably want sc6/21 this is a netted covering on your window
im also a big sucker for a Melon Ball. i also go for fuzzy navels, jolly ranchers (they come in different flavors), kamikazes...anything sweet. :)
Sighh, I had a bartender friend like that. Made me drink called Red Death, very good, have no idea what is in it. If anyone knows, I'm begging.

Bunny co 6/27 co + second ma4/6 word
LOL you're incorrigible! the babbler convention will rack up quite a bar bill, i fear!
yeah, some places use chambord, some dont...heheends up tasting about the same either way... its a creamy one, but so yummy!
When I bartended, you always had those very large men who refused to be cut off, and they usually drank coke with liquor. We'd fill the glass with coke and put one drop of the booze in the straw rather than have a problem....hands on to Cait now...
ooh cait - you're right about these dry things - bartender! one martini here - extra dry...
TY Missy, that put me at the finish line. Gonna wake up the twins and start in on the house, ya'll sober up and have a good afternoon. See ya tomorrow!

hey folks, can someone tell me if there's a theme today?
Hello Hurshy today is fairy tale day :)
Hushy Hi theme I don't know but we were learning spanish earlier
think it is the fourth cu4/6 I am missing, have the one you gave a clue for, MissyMe
Missy who makes up the theme of the day or where do you find it?
Hi, hurshy,
drop one of the double consonants and make it plural :)
peri cu might be what milk is stored in minus the h
find this to be a difficult grid. anyone else feel the same way.
Lucky I think Dr. God does it but I've never been able to find it. Jacula posted the themes for the month of January which I will repost here so you can copy and paste. :) Themes Babbler January 2006 Theme for Mon 16 Jan - The Waltons Theme for Tues 17 Jan - Fairy Tales Theme for Weds 18 Jan - Bridges Theme for Thurs 19 Jan - Volcanoes Theme for Fri 20 Jan - Circus Theme for Sat 21 Jan - "Let's all go on safari" Theme for Sun 22 Jan - Stars and Planets Theme for Mon 23 Jan - Harps Theme for Tues 24 Jan - Favourite Album Covers Theme for Weds 25 Jan - Book Covers Theme for Thurs 26 Jan - Australia Day Theme for Fri 27 Jan - Devils Theme for Sat 28 Jan - Dragons Theme for Sun 29 Jan - Chinese New Year - Dog Theme for Mon 30 Jan - Musical Instruments Theme for Tues 31 Jan - Ducks
hi folks, ok let me go find a fairy tale icon. haven't been able to babble last 2 days bc network was down.
mo, thanks that was the one cu I needed Way to many words left. Don't really feel like begging for so many clues. May be back later.
peri...you're not alone. So many have said the same thing. It's difficult because of the extremely odd spellings
no, the themes are picked by whoever. babbler is in charge of them, because she's the president of the babbleonia social club. but if you have a request you just tell it to her and she'll put it on the schedule.
MissyMe, I feel so much better now, thanks
Thanx Hurshy, now i know :D
((((peri)))) A few of these words have left me spot-bald in certain places lol
no RADS ? its a word http://dictionary.referen ce.com/search?q=rads
obscurity...that happens on occasion, a real word gets left out of the solution for the puzzle. Very frustrating
Missy I told you you were GREAT thanks for the theme list and making me feel better too just like peri I feel bad to ask so many times ... thanks again Q: are we supposed to change icons to the theme of the day??
It's not mandatory, Lucky, just a fun thing for everyone to enjoy the choices we make
Obscurity, it let me use the word "rads."
JW...just saw it on my list! Good thing you saw that. Obscurity...you either put it in and didn't see its on your list, or the list hasn't updated properly, (refresh the page to make it show up), or you may have mispelled it while typing it in
Oke Missy I thought so already but now I know... about the icons .....lets cross that "bridge" when we get there
Missy and JW just for the record my RADS is validated too!
Lucky, I like your icon. I love still-life paintings. I have a favorite oil painting in my kitchen...it is done to perfection, the artist is very talented!
Talking about farytails and rads!!!
lol Lucky The magical, mystical, all-knowing, all-disappearing RADs!!! *poof*
afternoon/evening all! putting in some extra time at work tonight since i was late this morning... how is everyone?
Thanks Missy I'm a still life painter myself... that is I'm studying at the art academy (four more years to go .. sigh ) on 17th century still life paintings I'm happy to say they sell like hotdogs!
From henceforth it shall be known as: ra4/5, second on the ra list, or ra** in any of my future posts. :)
ok then, what about MEDS
Hello Eva :) Well, that painting is gorgeous, Lucky!
meds is a slang abbreviation for medicines...while the babble rules are shaky, they generally dont accept abbreviations or slang
Meds is an abbreviation, I think that's the reason why it's not an acceptable word
could i please have a clue for the er (have the one meaning to make mistakes) thanks
sandr -- sounds like "to make money"
Thanks Missy but that one is actually of my teacher HENK HELMANTEL you may look him up online he has his own site but I do same thing ... will refresh with one of my own later so you may see oke?
sandr the word sounds like when you "earn" money but spelled like the man's name that starts with a "V"
Lucky, I would love that! thank you
Wow, Lucky...two of his murals have been stolen. Did he recover them yet?
Missy I changed my icon for you this is one of my still life paintings
cananyone please give me a clue for the un 6/21
ok here's my fairy tale - robin hood - starring captain picard, of course
un + re4/4
Missy did you find HENK HELMANTEL on the internet yet yes he recovered all his paintings and oops I refreshed but my icon did not change yet will leave and come back maybe that helps
un 6/21 un + re4/4
Hurshy lol :) okay Lucky What I usually do is refresh the page when I've uploaded a new icon on the edit page then when I come back to the chat its automatically refreshed for everyone
.... thought I'd drop off my handbag, for themes etc :D It's looking pretty healthy well into Feb now!
thanks evanadine
Lucky, I found his site and Im in love with his style, it gives me a sense of peace when I look at them
thank you Babbler :)
what does everyone think of Full Evening Dress, for a theme?
That's a good idea
Maybe like the Black & White Balls that organizations host. :)
have we done hats yet?
hi hurshy : ) No! I don't think we have!! What does everyone think of Hats as a theme?
:) hi babbler :)
i like the evening dress one too.
MIssy, I like Black & White Ball as a theme. Is there a suitable date this year we can save it for?
Be nice to save it for Easter to do "Easter Bonnet" theme :)
I mean a special occasion?
that easter bonnet theme was for the hats. For the Black and White I think it would be great for spring
Hurshy... is that Q?
hmmm, special occasion...how about election day?
smaller - if you haven't refreshed lately, then yes. he was my super villain from a few days ago.
Election day won't work for everyone, though, we international...just remembered that lol
today's is picard as robin hood (courtesy of Q, of course ;)
oooh! when's election day? is that american elections? is it a biggie?
what day was "the thomas crown affair" released - it featured a notable black and white ball...
that's not hugely special but it's something
it was released in 1968
we dont have another presidential election til 2008
i meant the new one with pierce brosnan :)
How about the ball saved for Dr. God's birthday?
hey we should have a history theme day sometime. be educational and all.
Right, I see in my diary you have President's Day on Feb 20. What shall we do? I think we can ALL participate!! : )
didn't Dr_G's birthday just pass? or did we just honor him for fun?
Missy - fantastic idea!!! when's Dr God's birthday?
lol - pick your favorite president or prime minister on feb 20
we honoured him for fun (unless he had a birthday while I was away??)
Hurshy I must not have been here when it did. I don't know the date
Hello All - the back & white ball sounds great! Also the Easter bonnets. How about an Easter bonnet Parade? Easter sunday is 16th April here. Hows about the end of March for the ball? Clocks go forward somewhere near the end of March I think
we gotta find out his bday then
h snowy! :)
Hello Snowy :)
hello all!
Hi Niamh!
Hello Niamh :)
hi NIamh : ) I've asked Dr G when his birthday is.
Niamh You are my favorite little elf. Dopey is so cute and sweet. :)
so we're having a ball for Dr. God but we need to know his birthday... am I all caught up on the chat?
Niamh That's what's missing...finding the date.
oh thank you, I really like me (him) too!
Snowy, I was thinking for Easter, we could keep it general, which gives it a wider scope, eg for easter eggs, etc. Are maypoles associated with easter? (memory's getting hazy now!) Also, do we do Easter on the sunday? What shall we do for Good Friday and EAster Monday?
Somebody mentioned evening dress, so I am dressed ready for tomorrow!
good friday is all about food for me... can we be our favorite desserts?
hi Ex Wren : ) we were throwing ideas around for future themes. Tomorrow's is Bridges! : )
I thought Good Friday was about fish? Am I wrong?
omg!! FISH!!! Why haven't we thought of that before?????
It really is hard to celebrate religious holidays because we're all so diverse, (and wonderfully so!), in our beliefs
lol
I don't know, I've just always had a "good" friday... that includes lots of "good" food.
good friday could be fish for the christians but just plain haddocks of obviousness for everyone else though :)
For Catholics Fridays used to be a day when you were restricted to only eating fish but a pope years ago stopped that practice
We do Easter on the Sunday Babbler - Good Friday is for the day of the crucifixion so not a great cause for celebration! No meat eaten on Good Friday, therefore the fish. Sunday is the resurrection day - therefore the celebration!
ahaa, thanks Snowy, it all makes sense now. So Fish for Good Friday, fish for the christians, and other fish for others. And on Easter Sunday, ooooh!! I know!! Let's have a parade!! (How will we do that?) And Easter Monday, errr.... need help now..
The Easter bonnet parade could be for everyone tho'! A party should be inclusive don't you think -that way we have the fun and bypass the religious. We are such a diverse lot it would be a pity to make anyone feel excluded
hear hear, snowy!! exactomundo!!! :D:D:D
Have you done any astronomical themes, like planets, stars, icons of galaxies?
Easter Monday could be favourite leisure activties - perversions excluded tho' lol
I think there's one scheduled, Missy.
Hi everyone!!
Is Easter Monday about leisure, snowy? And when do we do maypoles and morris dancing??
Hello Schroeder :)
Hi Schroeder
hello Schroeder :)
hi Schroeder : )
May Day is for Maypole dancing Babbler LOL MAY pole!
well, or easter could be sort of a mix - it could be religious for those who want, non-religious (bunnies, etc) for those who don't
Been reading the log -- maypoles are for May Day (May 1) -- think it's rooted way back in some pagan rites of one of the ancient tribes in England.
Then a theme dedicated to a famous invention...any kind?
yay! I love maypole dancing! :D
and btw, i think the no-meat-but-fish on fridays rule was established to help out the fish industry, originally :)
Invention works for me -- missy -- diverse enough that there should be some variety.
that's what I was thinking too, hurshy, then everyone can play, regardless of religion or background. : )
Oh Missy - thats a great one!
but we should still get a hat day in there somewhere
Missy, that's obvious - the computer!!! How else would we have met each other???
cyber I'm already thinking about the littlest inventions in our lives that mean so much to us and are so useful
Agree with Hurshy's comments on Easter
absolutely, hurshy, a Hat day. (I wear a lot of hats, don't you fret!) ; )
just inventions would be more fun than specifically computers - then someone could do the cotton gin :)
good thinking, hurshy! :) what's a cotton gin?
What about birthday symbols -- stones, flowers or zodiac - representing our birthdays?
Babbler...yes the computer is primo...but I was thinking about things like saftey pins, paper clips, pens, pencils, airplanes, printing press...and, of course, the greatest invention of all time....DUCT TAPE!
lol, something that processes cotton, i don't think it's in use anymore, but eli whitney invented it and every american kid learns about it in school (it was also mentioned in a friends episode).
how many Mother's Days are we going to have this year? The UK date is different to the US/Aus date. (UK 26 March, US/Aus 14 May)
cyber, we've got star signs coming up, but not symbols. could schedule that in for a future date?
lol, that reminds me of a funny. my friend edward's mom is french, but his dad is american and they live in the states. on american mother's day he does nothing for her because "she's french!" but on french mother's day he does nothing because "she's not in france anymore!"
Post its rank up there with Duct tape...
if we're doing Duct Tape, then we have to do WD40....
How about things we would like to give Dr. G for his birthday?
Hurshy lol If only I could be so clever in my excuses when I want to get out of something unpleasant!
"Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape."
i hope we're still putting all these little inventions together - it would be hard to find a lot of WD40 icons!
ooh oooh!! we'll have to have a Tools Party!! LOL!!
cybernan I love that idea! Or something fun like what we would give an alien to sum up earth for him in one picture
how about a time capsule day - what we would put in one to show people 100 years from now what we were like?
My favourite inventions are the hot glue gun, the stapler & blu-tack.
hurshy yup that's what I wanted to pick and choose what we think is a great invention
that's good cyber, I'll put that in when I find out when Dr God's birthday is. I'd give an alien a pencil. Interesing, Missy!!
Time Capsule Day!! wow!! I'd better get a pen and some paper, hadn't I?? busy busy!
oh & double sided sticky tape! I should have been on Blue Peter
*hands Snowy an empty bottle of Fairy washing up liquid* *oh, and some sticky back plastic*
I'd like the Time capsule one too...and to reinforce Hurshy's other idea, the hat day would be fun too...where we have a choice of any hat
pirate day! dessert day!
snowy lol
-------------Tracy Island coming up! LOL
Righto, I'm going to start adding these ideas to the list. If I mess up, please do let me know, and I'll correct it. : )
that's my girl, hurshy!! :D xxx Great ideas!!
arrrrr matey, a pirate day will do ye fine!
singers we're embarrassed we've liked day!
LOL hurshy!!!
Gosh ! Just noticed that all my favourite things stick something to something else! creepy Do you think it may be significant! LOL
owls don't stick to anything else :)
Hurshy lol
ohmyohmy Hairdos we are embarrassed we had!
not two days of embarrassment in a row though - space 'em apart :)
lol hurshy - this owls stuck to her Guiding!
Renaissance day
shall I put the notable dates in my diary in the list, eg some special national days, some special sports days, Queen's birthday, etc. ?
k Babs
Missy !! I was saving Hair Do's and Don'ts!! lol!
sure why not? long live the queen!
as long as we can post pics of prince william on the queen's bday
Caveman day
good idea Babbler - we'll have no time to babble soon we'll be too busy getting icons! LOL!!
Babbler! lol
sounds good babbler I second missy's Renaissance day!
Just popping in for a quick second. I just got a call from my daughter. She is being married on Friday, and I couldn't be happier!
meantime, i'm not getting very far here. help with ad?
Angel!! Congratulations!!! :D:D:D:D
oh wow, congrats angelsong!
Angel!! I'm so happy for you and your daughter! Congratulations!
hurshy, ad + male relative, ie your Dad's brother (abbr.)
what wonderful news angel! congrats :0)
WoW Angel song what lovely news!!! Congratulations!
ad 5/16 - hooked like a parrots bill
Congrats Angel!!
wow, wouldn't have guessed that.
and, um, so sorry but also ar?
Hurshy...that applies to just about every word in this puzzle, at least in my case it did lol
What do people do for Waitangi Day in New Zealand (Feb 6) ?
Noah's ar* (change the "k" to the other k-sounding consonant), + opposite of "them"
Babbler thats Anjs futurama day isn't it?
hurshy, Missy's clue from earlier: ar5/14 Noah's ar*, (not a k) + opposite of "them"
thanks!
hi all, any clues for the first ru4/5 and 5/12? And while your at it, the or6/24?
Snowy, as the future dates are some way off, I think it's ok to move things.
how far ahead are we planning babbler? (My birthday is in June)
That holiday is celebrated on Feb 6th. Ummm...how about displaying political documents of all kinds because that's the day a treaty was signed
my pleasure, hurshy. It's nice to be able to help you for a change! : )
thats good for me babbler Lol I don't know why I'm reminding you - you wrote the list!!!!!!
this is like playing dress-up w/ our icons!!! goody goody!!!
I'm really enjoying being the list monitor, snowy! It's really good for my memory skills!
well if you like helping me, then i won't be shy about asking for help with the second ce6
first ru4/5 and 5/12 it's like the expression, "You'll ru* the day you were born!" This is the person who actually does...he's a ru**...the 5/12 is the plural or6/24 or + third du4/6
lol hurshy! yes, add opp of them to your ce4/5 just above it.
what date is your birthday, Niamh?
ty again!
Hurshy ce6 ce4/5 + opposite of "them"
hursh... my house is made of the ce5 (as it is wooden) and the ce6 is plural
hi again, mrp! :)
oh, that ce6!
Hi Renfield!!
hi again bab ;)_
what about Hobart Regatta Day (S Tasmania) and Launceston Cup (N Tasmania) ?? what happens on these days?
Missy, got the or, but not getting the ru clue, got another clue?
bab, there is not alot to do in Tasmania... ;)
hi shro - how's your dad?
cr 5/14?
Hobart Regatta Day The public holiday is the culmination of three days of races and other water activities held on the Derwent River. Yachts, motor boats and ferries all participate. Vantage points all around the river provide good viewing. I guess boats would be appropriate then
should I put them in as themes, mrp?
hurshy, it kind of rhymes with the lady in the Starship Enterprise....
kristin, the stuff you make with flower and water when you're trying to thicken the gravy... then make it a person then make it plural
bab, not even I know what they are LOL! one is a yacht/rowing race and the other is a horse race?? I don't think they are 'theme' worthy myself
a perfect clue for me. i have her autograph, you know. :)
thanks niamh and missyme!
kristin ru4/5 it rhymes with the first su4/5...just different first letters the ru5/12 is the plural
ok, thanks mrp! I'm just running my Notable Dates in my diary with you all, please just say Yay or Nay, as appropriate. : )
I got him home on Sunday, he is doing better today both physically and his attitude. He can be such a jewel sometimes.....:)
Impressive, hurshy!!! :D
ok so why isn't cuer a word - one who cues?
Any help on the ne's?
drum77 ne's brain tumor latin for brain + Italian word for the city of Rome
Howdy from Kentucky. I'm in need of clue(s) for the one word I've got left: last co 5/14. I've got the plural of measured cord of wood and both english and latin plurals for the unconscious state (co 4/6).
bab... can we have a 'our gorgeous children' day??
:O peester used a word
TY missy
Missyme are you still there? I was gone for a bit to refresh in order to change my icon but I could not get back online so it took awhile. Now I'm back I find my icon still has not changed Glad you like HENK HELMANTEL TOO so much he is my alltime favorite and he is a very nice humble man at that he is a true artist. Will try refreshing again
but, peester, looks like you need the pl of the musical term
peester co 5/14 spelled like the 5/14 following it on the list but drop the consonant and add an "e"
Still here Lucky...glad you're back :D
You're welcome Drum :)
Thanx Hurshy... that was it. Sorry about the other word, meant to say PILE of wood... May I help anyone with some clues?
shro - that's good news....dads are like that sometimes..8)
mrp, we had a day along those lines before Christmas. Having said that, why don't we have it again???? what does everyone think? oh, mrp, there are some Aus/NZ dates I'm unsure of - all the different Labour Days WA, VIC, QLD, NZ, and ACT/SW/SA; and the three Queen's Birthdays. What shall I do?
I say yay to another day of our children, (or grandchildren) :D
I missed the children day, I'd love another opportunity!
for those who don't have kids they can put up their pets or a favorite relative or person
labour days - nay - we just sit around a drink beer!! Queens birthday - mmm... we should have that on the Queens ACTUAL birthday... I will hunt around for some good holidays that actually have meaning!! :)
or themselfs when they were little, that might be a fun theme in itself....
I've always thought the Queen a very classy person. I was especially impressed with her work during WWII...very inspiring!
thanks bab... 'gorgeous children' theme for sure!!
thanks, mrp. That would be brilliant! good thinking, Missy and Niamh. I think that's what some people did last time.
Niamh That is a perfect solution! What a great idea!
in for 21 Feb, mrp!! : )
good evening
HI Ren!! ((xx)) :D Niamh, did you tell me when your birthday is?
ma6?
Hi evanonut!! ((xx)) :D
Hi evanonut
what's the word in babbleland?
not yet... it's a ways off, june 6th
ma6 - another word for crazy, and then alt spelling of continental currency
you're in, Niamh! ; )
looking or LuvMyPom
merci!
you know Easter Weekend? What happens on the Saturday?
Eva today's Babble word is: crudcuncrurnnrrs It means: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
very cool!
oh, i like that word missy - are you frazzled
babbler - everything gets very quiet. according to tradition, jesus descended into hell to rescue people.
We spend all day shopping & cooking ready for Easter Sunday Babbler & setting up Easter Egg hunts!
RobRob lol...that name is cracking me up...LuvMyPom *snicker*
what would be an appropriate theme for that day?
hurshy, i didn't know that, and i was raised catholic * crosses self in recognition of ignorance *
um... maybe black?
Eva I don't need to see another cu word for a long long time. This puzzle was maddening!
been waiting to tell LuvMyPom something but never see him/her here!
you mean black clothes? black dresses and suits?
mo 5/16?
mo5/16 operandi..... !!
i don't know, black anything, as long as it's sort of respectful.
hmmm, not starting this puzzle, but the first word i think of when i hear the letters 'cu' isn't a nice one.
Rob I'm sorry...I haven't been around long enough to see the long term people who play off and on :(
ne 7 & 8 anyone?
lots of latin today.
Rob, I haven't seen Luvmypom for a while now.... but I've been on and off myself lately. : /
Niamh those words mean a type of brain tumor start off with the latin for "brain" which is a neu...and so forth and add the Italian spelling of the City Rome, (it has a different vowel at the end)
curiously me too babbler, and what would your excuse be?
hurshy, if we go for black clothes, I can guarantee it will lean towards party frocks. What else do you think we could do that would be appropriate?
sunrises
Thanks Missy : )
thank you missy, I saw that clue earlier... but I wasn't paying attention, sorry. Thank you again!
evan - you mean why I've been on and off? I was at home with my family till the weekend just gone. What about you?
Babbler, how about angels?
Niamh YW :)
all work and no play - pathetic i know
babbler - hmmm... how about anything that symbolizes quietness.
Thanks Babbler
what the heck is or4?
Chic I remember doing angels at Christmas I had a fish with wings--angelfish :)
how about contemplation Babbler - not sure I''ve thought that through. - or it may be just better to leave Good friday & Easter saturday free and celebrate on the Sunday
or crosses...
we did angels before Christmas, Chic. Thanks though. all things quiet?? that sounds like it might be good!
or4 or + what you put in a paper to advertise something you have for sale...an **
again, ty missy!
hurshy, or + abbreviation for messages on tv that sell us stuff.
YW Hurshy :)
this is getting ridiculous, but...ra6?
Snowy, maybe I'll do that, leave Good Friday and the Saturday free. Hurshy, do you think that would be acceptable?
oooo how about strange sites around the world...architecture...such as stone henge, the rock, the pyramids and so forth...let people chose
ra6 - usually see this word with an e at the beginning. (which was the name of an 80s band). ra + su4/5
ra+ raise your hand if you're su**
ra6 ra + 4th su4/5
Missy, I was thinking about architecture last night!! You're in my brain!! Great minds!! :D
how funny, i looked for that as an e7, but didn't know it could be an r6!
once again we're thinking alike! :) indeed...
Missy, I've put it in for after Easter, (and credited us both!! lol!) I called it Architecture, Ancient & Modern.
How about deep sea creatures?...there's a new species discovered every minute :)
hurshy, I left Good Friday, the Sat and Easter Monday as free choice. Is that ok?
The same here Babs...it's a fascinating subject!
Testing for new icon
sure, it's fine with me whatever we do.
Missy, did you say have the Black & White Ball for President's Day?
yup...seemed official enough of a day for that
oh, but then when do we get to do our favorite pres? and help with first su5?
Lucky I'm still getting your old one...there's a problem refreshing using Opera. I have to log off the internet and get back on to see the new one, just tell me when
Lucky your icon hasn't changed here
su5 - su + what you open to enter a room, minus a hoop. oh yeah, favourite president..... eek! what shall I do? another date for it?
first su5 su + what you open and close to get into and out of buildings...drop one of the vowels
snap, Missy!!! again!! :D
Have the Black and White on another day...fav prezzies seem more appropriate for prez day
oooh, can I have a masquerade ball for my birthday?
that's getting weird, Babs lol The Black and White can be on April Fool's Day just for kicks
Babbler how about the spring time change? Thats the end of march for us. a spring ball would be somethingto look forward to!
Magic, Snowy!!! :D Niamh, your wish is my command! :D
*cheesy grins* thank you!
Niamh I already have the perfect icon for your day Cool...
whew, made it. it's been fun discussing themes with you all, and i cannot tell you how good it is to have some light fun and chat with you babblers when going through a tough time. going to go eat something now. thanks for all the clues and just for being you!
errr... Snowy - it's the same day as our Mother's Day!! Shall I do it for the Saturday?
Hurshy Its always good to babble with you! (((((xx)))) Enjoy the rest of your day
Hurshy!!! I'm glad you feel better! ~%~%~%~%~Fireworks~ %~%~%~%~ and hugs
Bye Hurshy ((((hugs))))
((((((( hurshy )))))))) :D:D:D xxx congratulations!
keep me in your thoughts - been struggling a bit with depression - hoping i will be better tomorrow.
see you soon hurshy!
can anyone help with my last one en5/12?
Good idea Babbler - I'd prefer a virtual hangover rather than the real thing! LOL
:) thanks for all the love. :)
en5/12 en + last 3 letters of 4th su4/5
kristin - en5/12 - start with horse poo, drop the first three letters, add an E
snowy lol
en5 - on the last page of a book it may say The End drop the d & add su4/5 I think the last one!
Yippee - thanks all, I'm done, but I'll be in and out to help with clues, this one was a bear!
OOPS - think its time for a break! LOL BBL
kristin!!! Hoorah!!! ~%~%~%~%~Firework s~%~%~%~%~
k snowy cya later :)
Congrats Kristen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
congrats kristin! see you later snowy :0)
congrats, kristin! :)
Evening ladies and germs! Started this thing this morning at the flip - 6 am here - a few minutes before I went to work. Just returned home after a killer day (its now almost midnight), only to find this grids a bit of a b*gger. Wish I hadnt started this morning!
nite snowy
i agree dachef, not a friendly puzzle today
...you're not the only one Dachef : / Evening All : )
evening anj
well hello Dachef!
and hello anj!
love that book, and the whole series anj.... great choice!
Niamh, haven't read any TB for years now. I must be 6 or 7 books out of date. He's written at least two more Shannara trilogies since I last dabbled... : /
Dachef I'm only a fair Babbler but the experts around here have had trouble with this puzzle, tells me this is a real booger!
stuff this for a game of soldiers. Far too tired. When you keep putting in words with a w in them and wondering why it wont accept them for 5 minutes before realising there is no w in the grid, you know it just aint gonna happen.
Hello Anj :)
I have one he wrote a few years back, The voyage of the Jerel Shannara, I think... still waiting for me to read it
Hi all I am trying for ages to change my icon .. I check the correct ending of the pics and refresh but still without luck does anyone have a clue to this problem?
I had to reread the kingdom of Landover series recently... they were calling me
got down to 40 words to go - cant even be bothered to reconcile my list with the babble anonymous site. Need sleep. In the words of the immortal one, "smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for....."
lucky, I usually open the pic I want full screen, then copy the entire web addy (ctrl C) then when I get to the profile I erase the http:// that is already there and paste the whole thing in (ctrl V)
Lucky what file name is your icon you're trying to upload?
Missy the filenames are jepgs
Whoops! Hi Kristin, MissyMe : ) Lol Dachef, been there, done that, didn't admit it at the time tho' ; )
Lucky...you're right...that should work. But open it in Paint, copy it and then save the copy as a .gif or another file name to see if that works
then after you upload, refresh while still on the edit page...see if it's there
thanks Missy I'll do but mabe later because I now want to get on with the grid .... you will see my paintings I promise
Back again -- finally got with the fairy tale program
Lucky I look forward to it :) In the meantime...go go go!
WB cyber :)
Well the random word generator has thrown a few curveballs today. I'm struggling to find 46 words in common usage in this grid : / Maybe it's using the Disable Dictionary... : )
Those DU'S are a chore! any clues recycling?
just a thought Lucky - is the pic you are trying to use saved as a jpeg? - I think you have to use a pic that is a jpeg
Lucky, 10 of them start with the same 3 letters...
Lucky -- which du's in particular?
Lucky except for the first two du's...the rest are dur's all the way down...just add different endings
last 4 du's: du 4/6: rhymes with sound a cat makes when contented du 5/14: add vowel to above du 6/24: pluralize the 5/14 du 5/14: pluralize the 4/6
cu5/20 is like the two words above it but it has a funn"y" ending
the happy, snappy, doubble consonannts in the puzzle are our friends throughout the grid
Thanks snowyowl yes they are jpegs Thanks anj that saves time thanks cybernan and all others .. this way I think I might even finish the grid tonight ... lets DUR!!! LOL
My brain has died and gone to the great Pile of Left Socks Why was I giving clues for cu's when we were discussing du's? lol
Any others, Lucky?
Hi everyone, I am back for more torture, er I mean more fun. This is a real toughie. May have to beg for clues as usual.
Cyber I like your froggie. I remember the first time I heard that story as a child...I thought it was YUCKY the princess would kiss the frog :D
WB Peri...:)

Hi Une ! I need a spelling lesson too I think! Blame a late night last night with sick little ones!
I am up to 116 but not sure I will finish. Will try again to find words myself and then decide if I want to beg for clues. I thought I had a pretty decent vocabulary but this game sure changed that.
No Missy I would not **** but enough chat left over LOL
kristin I do that and feel bad when the person gets back to me and says something like, "I've tried and tried to fit that in and it just won't accept it", then we find out I had given the wrong clue
Missy if you finished last night you must be a night owl, where are you from?
hey, snowy . . . we all do it!!

Babbler ROCK GROUP????
lucky - does Carl Jung mean anything to you? congrats, doxy!! :D
Lucky when two things are working together they're in sy**...the word sounds like ink but drop the "k" and use a consonant that sounds like a "k" sometimes
Lucky, I didn't say anything about a rock group. Though I was that close!! *pinches fingers* !! : D
otay! all dressed up and ready for tomorrow!
Lucky I was the one who mentioned the rock group. Their name is the same as today's sy word

ooh! ooh!! MIssy!!! how about Ballet for a theme?? Do you think people will go for it??
i am ready for tomorrw also:)
Babbler ballet ... of course we are in a spagate all the time with the grid anyway so...
Babbler Inspriation! That would be loverly...loverly....loverly.. .
what does spagate mean? :/
hello everyone ....need the ma 6/27 clue?? :D
im always up for a ballet/dance theme!! dunno which bridge this is...i just googled bridges and picked one i liked. :)
hi Tim :) ma6/27 - first half another word for crazy, second half alt spelling of continental currency
Babbler I might be missspelling spagate but I mean the pose sitting with each leg in an opposite direction in an angle of 180 degrees. you have to be very elastic to be able to do it
nice one, Evan! : )
ooooh, that's what it's called! I can do that..... sort of..... almost.... when I really try..... : /
sitting?? nope - can't do that! :/
Babbler what is the correct spelling then?
ouch!!! :/ nope, deffo can't do that.
I have no idea! lol Lucky! :)
Ballet is in the bag! We can all pirrhouette (sp?) on the day! :)
Its a typical ballet pose .... ballerina's lets hear it!
the dutch word is spagaat LOL
ouch Lucky..."the splits" is what we call spagate :)
pirouette...... ahem
The splits?? Ouch!! mega double ouch! oh no no no no :/
MissyMe for the rescue!!!!! I feel soooo stupid now... and can you imagine I have a US Passport without knowing how to speak proper USA.... ***hiding behind Babblerfor shame ****
**Babbler tries to hide behind Lucky cos she didn't know either** lol! :D
Lucky I have NO trouble understanding you! I admire you very much for your language abilities!
me too, Lucky!
thank God Babbler you saved my face (dutch expression!)
FRIENDS BIS BIS BIS!!! ***CHEEKS RED AND PUFFY*** ME SOFT AND STUFFY
that's a British expression too, Lucky. And American, if I am correct?
HOW UNIVERSAL ARE WE EHH!
exactly right, Lucky! People all over the world are more or less the same. We have more in common than not. That's my observation anyway. : )
yes in US its the same...and in Japanese culture it is very important to "save face"...its a matter of honor
***Hugs Babbler in all the right languages** zoen, bisous, hugs kisses, kusje, kuss etc
Oh Japanese Babbler shall we ask Dr God for a Japanese grid some time could be fun...:) LOL
awww! beso, Lucky! : ) xxx
wow what a challenge that would be Lucky!
i cant even finish the puzzles in ENGLISH!!
errr.... well I'd just sit and admire a Japanese grid, as I wouldn't be able to play it. But I bet Miyavi_Fan would love it! lol : )
MissyMe it would be a total party for everyone would be seeing crosseyed and needing ALL but clues
Dame un abrazo un beso... :)
Lucky...so true
Babbler...we'd drive her crazy picking her mind for clues lol
How about a four language grid. Me and my mother used to play US scrabble in dutch, english french, german and latin for the Q at the same time.. makes wonderful high scores into the 500
yes , Missy, we'd exhaust the inexhaustible Miya! lol! : )
Lucky...that is so impressive!
Babs lol she is a joy when she's around...her energy is catching
Lucky, wow!!! so many languages!!! I knew you would speak a few, but I didn't think of latin. Wow!!
What's more in japan one is NOT supposed to eat in public.... bye bye snacks, bye bye drinks, gone is the peanutbutter ooooh boy what are we in for
I didn't know that, Lucky...interesting...
Babbleras to the latin .... had one year of latin in school and studied law for some years (actually partied more hush)
Miya is awesome! Lovely girl. Very wise for someone so young. I did a year of latin at school too, Lucky, though I don't remember too much of it. Badly taught.... :/
MissyMe ask Miya if you want to know details ... this is all I know (and fussy about showing pubic hair on tv as well... everything else is aloud)
I'm a retired medical transcriptionist. I had to take Latin and Greek in school to be able to break down medical terms
most of the latin I remember is from science and biology lessons at school.
Babbler ... AMO AMAS AMAT, AMAMUS AMATIS AMANT... or something
Lucky, I know about the way sex is protrayed in the media in Japan...there always must be something between the man and the woman...no actually skin to skin contact during a "sex" scene
we never learnt any greek. I'm always stuck when there are greek letters of the alphabet in puzzles.
MissyMe how awfully boring!!!!
What's nice about a site like Babble, we all love words or we wouldn't be here...:) Nice to meet like-minds
though I remember a few from a book. alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon. sigma, omega, zeta..... that's it! lol!
"And Shepherds we shall be For thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti." thats from one of my favorite movies. :)
yes Missy! This site is wonderful. I've never met so many like-minded people! :D
In the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit...
good work missy!
the saddest line I know comes from a Siegfried Sassoon poem: "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori".
which means "It is a sweet and fitting thing to die for one's country". I think he wrote it around the 1st World War. So sad.
no, it was Wilfred Owen!!
Lucky...with their attitude about showing the actual sex act...they sure make up for it in their anime! lol very very sexy material
*bashes head over thtoooopid memory*
Babbler was he being patriotic when he wrote that or sarcastic? (I don't know the poem)
I'm just looking at it. He said it was "the old lie".
it's called Dulce et Decorum Est if you want to look it up. I studied it at school and it stayed with me.
ah...good for him! :)
Eva.. It should long have passed away... says my mind.. or never have happened at all taking at same time each event so small into consideration. Alike a lawyer facing facts.. but still on the ball to make the best of it Choosing her speech so keen not to loose a friend plausible between the audience present Oh its my mind not or I would have won this case keeping track and easy pace with acceptation. As an Emperor infact but rules my soul on end too strict My heart skipping few beats... Not able to contradict! Lucky
I just bookmarked it and will read it later...thank you :)
lucky -- did you write that?
I agree. He describes what it's really like to be a soldier and says if you knew what he knew, you wouldn't say it's a good thing to die for one's country.
MissyMe the poet in me was busy so Should we have a sex grid then some time eh!
Yes Eva I did
Lucky...very intelligent with good measure. You must have written that while studying law?
wow Lucky! It's brilliant!
Lucky I would say yes to that but for one reason, we can never tell how old some of the Babblers are who come here...it might get Dr. God into trouble with the parents...
Yes MissyMe a long time ago but I LOVE writing poems... sad that my painting studies (and babbling )takes up most of my time now
MissyMe I know of course was just kidding LOL
I love writing poems too, though I have hardly written anything since I discovered Babble! : )
Thanks Babbler ... we aim to please!!
Poetry is not a job, it's not something you can do all the time have the poetry be fresh and alive. Poetry is pure expression, alive and beautiful like nature...created as a surprise and...secret like a mother's womb...
I like that, Missy! Yes, very secret! :D
Babbler shake hands!!! que je fasse de ma vie une chose simple et droite com une flûte de rossot (forgot spelling) que tu puisse emplir de music Lucky
translation? *shakes hands* : )
MissyMe welcome to poets world!!!!
scuse me good people...I must step away from my obsession...I mean the computer...for a few minutes to finish up dinner...Be back in a few
*looks around* What a lovely place it is, Lucky...thank you for inviting me!
looking for the first su 5/14.....any help?
Babbler What should I do with my life Something simple and straight Alike a flute made of straw that you may fill with music Lucky
wow, Lucky! I really like that!
Welcome Babbler!;)
how about you post them in BabAnon, Lucky? So we can read them again?
su5/14 - su + what you go through to enter a room, minus a hoop
Tim su 5/14 su + object you open and close to enter and leave a building, (drop one of the vowels)
Babbler a. How would I go about that? b. They are not THAT great! c. What about copy rights?
Missy, we're in sy4/7 again! : )
Lucky...posting them online is almost as good as a copywrite because dates and times are always recorded as we are here
Babbler we sure are!
I think you can add an entry whereever you want, Lucky. Hmmm... hadn't thought about copyright. Mind you, these chatlogs are archived, so your poems are here now!
Talking about sy ** MissyMe any left overs to spare???
...and Lucky, I really enjoyed them!!
thanx found it........googling.....:-)
Oh boy Babbler had not thought of archives ooops!
Babbler poet... may we enjoy some of your work some time soon?
Lucky, no way! I'm very very secretive! And they are awful anyway! They're just how I'm feeling at the time. Nothing special. Just a creative way of working things through.
I'm having ham, fried rice and corn tonight if that sounds good to you, Lucky. You're welcome to a place at our table :)
MissyMe I am running ....where will you have me?
Babbler I am twisting your arm for a teeny weeny poem of you hand pleeeeez would enjoy soo much!
*blush*
I know what Babbler join me at the table with Missy we will not spill the beans....
*hands Lucky a heaping plate of home cooking goodness*
*hands Babbler another heaping plate* dig in :) we're just folks here...
ok : D
MissyMe I am FLABBERGASTED how wonderful it smells good too ;D
*tries to talk with mouth full* delishush! :D
You'll think me outrageous, Lucky but when I write poetry it's for cleansing my heart and mind...ridding myself of daemons...when I'm finished writing, the exorcism is not quite complete...I have to tear up the poem and throw it away...it must be destroyed...after that act I feel better
Anything else cooking?????
thank you thank you :) lol
Missy, I know what you mean. I rarely go back an re-read them.
We only have peanut butter cookies for dessert this evening...oh I have some vanilla ice cream with some homemade hot fudge my daughter's mother-in-law made for us...it's delicious!
MissyMe .. let me fill you in... By all means We DO NOT destroy poetry of any kind shape or form We better eat our hats. LOL
come to think of it, everything I create is kind of like that. I rarely keep anything I make. Funny that. It's just that whatever it is is hugely invested with how I'm feeling. And I reckon once it's gone, it's gone.
*cross-eyed over thought of ice-cream and homemade hot fudge*
lol Lucky But poetry is therapy for me. If I were to leave it lying around it would haunt me. I'm of the same mind as Babbler...it's secret to me
lol Missy!! I write in a notebook..... and anytime I have visitors, I hide it!!! :D
Did you say cookies and icecream MissyMe.... You have to move here definitely! Taring of poems is hereby graciously forgiven!
((((Babbler)))) Okay we must have been siamese twins separated at birth...or both of us were car salesman and partners in another life! lol
Lucky lol!
(((Missy))) we are soooooo in sy4/7 !! :D
lol Lucky! :D
You guys have me soooo hungry. I want that home made hot fudge - and the fried rice - although not together. First the hot fudge then the rice :)
a word Lucky will not soon forget... He sweat bullets for that word!
Dianne ROTF!!! :D :D :D :D
hey Dianne!! Happy New Year! Haven't seen you for ages. How are you? : )
scuse my mispelling...I mean she SHEESH sorry Lucky
Not kidding MissyMe before artschool I studied spycho therapy for five years with good results so if any therapy is needed ...
Lucky thank you for the offer of help. Just talking in Babble is a big plus.
for me too, Missy : )
Lucky is your heart in your painting...or are you would you rather go back to either being a lawyer or doctor?
Babbler..this site is wonderful...I have yet to see a Troll here. It's full of such nice people
you're lucky Missy, I've seen a few trolls. We just ignore them now and they go away. But yes, I love the people on this site too! : )
Hi Babbler - thanks for the good wishes - same to you. Darn work has been getting in the way of babbling. Trying to play today's grid but not having too much success :(
Babbler...are they at least articulate? My guess is they're not and what really chases them off is the intelligence naturally welling up from this place. :) They didn't just meet their match...they met their master!
Dianne, Sprite said it was a nice grid, so I jumped in. I found it tough too! I found most of my words just monkey-typing. Some strange words today! :/
ahaaaa!! well put, Missy!!! I like that! :D
you're right, they're not usually articulate.
The Ur4/6 is vexing me - been worrying with this for ages - monkey typing hasn't helped at all.
Dianne, this grid was made for monkey typing...once you get the first 3 words you can monkey type a good many more...and reuse middle parts of words to complete other words...
MissyMe I would never want to be neither a lawyer nor a psych anymore since I was accepted to this artschool My father was an artist so it must have been in my genes all along but my soul, heart and all the universe are combined in my painting would not want to do anything else for as long as I live and beyond....
Ur4/6 its like the last 4 letters of cu5/16
Dianne - ur4/6 - ur + 4th letter of alphabet + what makes a word plural
follow your passion, Lucky. : )
ur4/6 and ur4/7 are almost the same just change the third letter to a d
Lucky...you are hereby christened an artiste...your home is where your heart is...you have come home...
Yes Babbler could not agree more but you and MissyMe are in my heart too
marigold & babbler - I have the Ur4/7 and Ur4/5 - it's the 4/6 that I can't get for anything.
MissyMe could not agree more!! here here
I'm sad to say it's time for me to go. : ( Thanks for the great company!!! Goodnight and God bless all. : )
Good Evening, My Friends! (*Hugs for all*)
Ur4/6 its like the last 4 letters of cu5/16
Hello fellow gamer! How are you? :)
(((** GW!!**)))
Doing great, Missy :) (((***Babbler***)))
MissyMe - the last for letter of my Cu5/16 are the Ur4/7. What am I missing here?
Dianne, the cu5/16? drop the c....
(((Babbler))) Bye for now Cya soon :)
Hi Gw - how is everything? Good I hope.
Dianne...yes that's the word...its the last four letters of the cu word...the grid should accept it
Oh boy folks in case we forget .. I stumbled upon a grid sometime somewhere... or is it dirg .... could be irgd .... or rigd any clues?
Kirsten had ANOTHER dr appt today and the sonogram shows the baby to be around 6 pounds 9 ounces in weight
Hi everyone.
Jojo hello :)
Lucky lol
GW in town ***snug*** hi
GW - that sounds great. Glad to hear all o.k.
Missy: Hi to you as well. How's everything going?
MissyMe - I have that one - it is the one after it that I can't seem to find.
dianne, they're both the last letters, the 4/6 is ur + the new game system, nintendo **
Hi LUCKY! (*Hug*)
So, Babbler -- you're still fighting the insomnia, it seems :D And just as you are about to go, I show up -- doesn't help much, does it? ;)
GW give my best to Kirsten and we want pics soon as possible :)
Dianne there's only one cu5/16 do you mean cu5/14? thats a cu + double consonant + plural
yes, GW, I'm sad to say, I am. : ( I always seem to miss you lately! lol! really must go now. I'm actually feeling sleepy! I'll make like my icon and away to my bed. Nighty night! :D
LUCKY -- as soon as I can after the porcedure -- I will at the very least, post an icon --Today was just one of the biweekly checkups leading to the big day
Woulfie: 6 lbs 9 ounces is OK. My boy was 8 lbs 1 ounce. Ouch!! Is she going natural?
Gw we've been chatting along bye bye scores hello fun MissyMe forgive me asking what does ROTF mean cannot figure it out.
there's also a cu5/18 which is the plural of cu4/8 above it. It's the side area where street meets sidewalk
glad to hear all is well with Kirsten, GW : )
Babbler Babbler hang on !
ROTF rolling on the floor sometimes it's written ROTFLMAO rolling on the floor laughing my ass off
Thanks, Baqbbler -- you go and tackle sleep while you can -- you will see me again soon enough -- and there is always email too :) Sleep Well ((**HUG**))
thanks GW! ((hugs))) what's up, Lucky?
Babbler I'm sleepy too 4:48 am herestick with me or will we meet again soon???
MissyMe - I am so confused now (not unusaul for me). I have tried evey combo for the UR4/6 and no matter what I can't get it. Got a rhyme for me?
this one is a doozie! Any help on the ad 5/16 or ar 5/14. Thanks in advance!
JoJo -- (*Hug*) -- planned c-section due to prior complications with Kristianna's birth -- she got stuck and wouldn't budge despite 12 hours of induced labor
Just had so much fun Babbler I need to go to sleep to but cannot get myself to go
it's 3.48 here, Lucky. But I didn't sleep last night, otherwise I'd happily stick with you. I'll definitely see you again soon!! :D ps: you go to bed too! ; )
dianne, i gave a clue at 9:43. or.... ur + fourth letter + plural
Dianne -- so you have the su4/6?
ad 5/16 ad + abbrev. of the brother of your parent, (what he is to you) ar 5/14 Noah's ar* (change the k to another vowel) + opposite of the word "them"
Gald she is going c-section then. Feb. 5th, right? I'll be thinking about you all.
I mean change the K to another consonant...sorry not a vowel
Oke Babbler lets have MissyMe and GW join us at what time tomorrow?
Feb 3rd, JoJo :)
thx missy...real simple huh?
I'm usually on the grid about 3-5 p.m. PST to chat
GW - I have the su4/6. I have the ur4/7 that has tas the last 3 letter of the su4/6 and then plural. What I don't have is the word that comes after that - the Ur4/6. This is making me crazy.
Lucky -- the earliest I can usually log on is after 9:30 EST-- I work during the day and the baby's bedtime is 9 :)
kristinc this puzzle was a doozy! so many odd spellings!
GW: **HUGS** I'll be thinking about you guys on Feb. 3rd. Are you going to let us know how things went on the 4th.
I'm in and out all day, every day! :)
Dianne -- the ur4/6 is the su4/6 with the s at the end without changing the order of the other 3
Missy...no kidding. I have 88 left to go and actually am not sure if I'll finish!
Oke MissyMe and GW we'll meet again and Missy I will try hard to change icons Sleep well all ... it was great fun (((HUGS))
Dianne Think of ur4/6 this way like Little Bo Peep eating her c**** and whey. Now drop the c and you have the word
(((Lucky))) Thank you for the wonderful chat this evening Sleep well!
JoJo -- most likely you will hear from me that night -- the procedure is sometime in the morning, like 7 AMish -- I will probably get the baby to bed and then come here to destress
Babbler you too sleep well I am leaving you with 17 words to go
MissyMe, GW and everyone else - I need to quite this game - It is the Ur4/7 that I don't have (I need to learn how to add). Sorry to have had you all helping me with the wrong word.
arg...not little bo peep...what am I thinking...its little miss muffet eating her c**** and whey...sorry about that!
Good job, today, Lucky -- go get your much deserved rest --- there will be another grid tomorrow! ;D (*Hug*) -- sleep well, dream deep
Woulfie: You will probably be so stressed out that you won't even think about babbling. But, if you aren't, I will probably be here.
Ur4/7 this sounds like the word herbs...spell it according to the first two letters you have to shart with :)
Dianne -- (*Big Hug*) -- it's quite alright, you aren't the first, and you won't be the last -- the 4/7 is the cu5/18 (plural of the edge of the street) minus the c
MissyMe and GW - thanks for the help. Thank goodness I finally got that. I appreciate all the time you took helping me :)
Dianne -- you have helped me a time or two in the past as I recall --- just my way of balancing the books ;D
Dianne...just another monkey word. I started off this grid by monkey typing when I saw the letters involved. I didn't bother looking for "real" words until I had moneky typed about 40 words! :)
MissyMe - this grid seems filled with "non-word" words.
YVW Dianne :) You've helped me too
Dianne Indeed...its the oddest collection of "what the heck does that word mean" words I've ever come across.
You're telling me! Help with the cr5/14?
Glad I am not the only one having problems with the grid. I thought I may be loosing it!
I don't want to sound like I'm complaining...I actually had fun finding the secret Martian code. Oh...according to the grid's secret grid, the Martians are anticipating the new season of Stargate SG1...they mentioned they really like comedy...
ROFL, Missy! ;D
GW cr5/14 first 3 letters of word above this word + cheer **, **, **, sis boom ba!
Gw - Cr5/14 - same first 3 letters as cr4/7 then first 2 letter of the word you yell when cheering for your team.
And here I thought it actually said -- "Eat at Wnoeir's!"
GW LMAO!!!!
Thank you, Dianne -- must have missed monkeying that one :)
hi everyone i'm new here at Bbble.com.
lnb92954 Welcome!
Is the Cr4/6 one of the "non-word" words? Because I can't get it - in either direction.
Welcome Inb:
Dianne--which cr 4?
Dianne, the cr4/6 is like crust, but w/out the t
hi GW...
1st cr4/6 -- to panic study for exams 2nd cr4/6 -- plural of the 1st three letters of the cr's around it
The 1st Cr4/6. I've got the one with the first four letters of the bread edge.
Cr4/6 there's 3 cr4/5 words ~when you push something into something else, jam it in you cr** it in ~abbrev. for an alligator type animal ~means "cross", spelled using first four letters of the next two cr words in the grid
lnb -- welcome to the asylum! ;) Hi Angelsong --(*hug*0 mark -- how's the music going?
GW {hug} I got some wonderful news today!
lnb -- do you have any questions about what you are seeing?
Mark, GW and MissyMe - thanks for the help. I can't beleive that I didn't see that critter - I just didn't zig zag enough with my eyes.
hey Grey, i just uploaded a new song to: Soundclick.com. it's an unreleased song...10+ minutes. u can download the MP3 from there too: www.soundclick.com/markbowers
Angel (*hug*) -- what kind of good news?
my daughter is getting married on Friday of this week! I am so happy for her!!!
mark...speaking of music...have you ever visited AcidPlanets website? They have great music by unknown artists trying to get a start. The site is run by the Sony Company. You can download whole songs, MP3's, for free :)
Dianne you're welcome :)
Congratulations, Angel!!!! Kind of short notice, though, isn't it? ;D
Missy, i have not...maybe i should check that out...(ther's so many places online...mind-babbling)... ;)
mark lol! It's a great site because you can configure the songs you want to hear...your preferences and not have to wade through every genre of music.
GW, hardly. she has a son almost 2 years old and she's marrying the baby's father. About time, I'd say.
ROFLMAO, Angel!!! I am very happy for you and them :) ((*HUG*))
sweet!...thx Missy...i'll have to check that out
O.K. - I'm finished - phew. Anyone need any help?
BTW -- mark, have you had a chance to look into becoming a Friend of Babble yet?
Dianne!!! Yay!! *throws pastel-colored confetti around delicately...thinks twice about it then grabs handfuls and fills the air with it* ~%~%~%~%~fireworks~%~%~ %~%~
Dianne - since you are offering, how about the ar5?
no way will I finish this grid. oh, well, there's always tomorrow's.
And --- Yayyyyy! for Dianne!! (*Hug*)
not yet Grey, but i did just write myself a note...i've been considering a re-write of my site (haven't done much yet), and was thinking about holding off til that was done....maybe i should just email him
for dreams to come true...
GW - Ar + last bit of Chinese calculator. MissyMe - I took pictures of the confetti :) thanks.
Dianne lol
clues for the or6 and the two ca5/14........:~)
mark -- I had noticed right after you left the other day, that there is a link in the Friends box that says 'Become a Friend' -- so I have a feeling that it is pretty simple ;)
so how many words can I get in an hour?
Tim or6 or + the third du4/6
"The Friends of Babble are all blogs that have professed their love of Babble. If you want to become a Friend, just mention Babble in your blog, and I'll add you to the list." -- Dr_God....i don't know if my site counts as a blog
Hi mike! -- depends on how fast you type and how many clues you want? ;D
Ca5/14 - you play bridge witha deck of these.
GW, it is easy. you post about babble to your site or log, then e mail dr_god to let him know. that's it.
two ca5/14 ~ playing ca*** ~first three letters of above word plus sound people making when meditating...
Then I guess you will have to email Dr God after all, mark :)
thx, Angel, i will have to modify my site to include that...that would be sweet.... :-)
I did the Friends thing and let dr_god know, but no link to the left of this page for my blog yet.
2nd Ca5/15 - ca + word that follows CD___
so Grey, have u checked out my new song at Soundclick yet? 10 minutes for free....
I meant CA5/14
thanxs again got em........good clues...had the playing ca... didnt realize it.....:D
Oh boy -- 25 words to go and they are all D's or M's!
Tim lol I did that a few times with this grid...and yw :)
not yet, mark -- but will do so now --- it's this darn obsessive personality of mine -- I get focussed on one thing and forget how to multitask ;D
lol, Grey
just 16 more to go........slowly finding out what they are ....having a hard time with the do's....have only one do/4 .....Help....Please...
All the Do's have the same first 3 letters.
all of them start with the same first 3 letters...so the one you have already is a start use the double consonant for the first two do words drop one of the double consonants for the next word and make it plural the next is the first three letters + "sa+ the next is add a "d" to the end of the above word
mark -- I just got it started -- It's wonderful!
thx, Grey...it didn't make the cut for the CD, because it was a one-shot deal...composed/arranged as i played it...i like the spontaneous stuff now and then
SWEET got all of em again......thanx 11 more........
mark -- In my opinion, the spontaneous is what defines the artist more accurately than the planned :)
Grey, i am so quoting u on that! thx... most of my songs have grown out of spontaneous wanderings, but that one was TOTALLY spontaneous
Go ahead, mark -- you may quote me with my blessing ;)
cool Tim :) go go go!
having trouble with all of the mo 5s.........why ?
hey, it's a good quote...what can i say?
hello everyone! I'm back
Hello. 79 words to go.
back from where? outerspace?
Hi Niamh! -- (*Hug*) -- I got your email, but haven't had the opp to answer yet, but I will by the weekend :)
very cool, I was wondering if you received it or not
hello ::::harp
yes outerspace mark.... I had to have a little chat with my kin
~ mo + anothe word for donkey...but drop one "s" ~this rhymes with the movie title Tora, Tora, Tora! ~ short little word...same first 3 letters as word above it + pluralize it
harp -- looking at your icon just reminded me that I didn't actually need to find one special for today :D
hello:::::Niamh
<grin>...doesn't surprise me...next time say hi for me... ;)
Very good, GW, are you the big bad one?
Harp was that harp in The Little Mermaid?
No, Jack in the Beanstalk!
only if you want me to be, harp ;)
It just looked like an underwater scene is the reason I asked :)
Aaaahhhh! My cat just decided to leave my lap and now I can stretch my legs for the first time in about a half hour :)
The dial up gods are being very cruel tonight. I don't think I could type in 79 words in an hour, even if I already knew what they were! Oh well, it's only a game.....
GW you're like me...I will keep myself in an uncomfortable position if my friend/pet is comfortable
Missy -- the worst is when I have Kristianna on one side and the cats on the other!
GW...you find a little comfort in the fact they feel so drawn to you...good spirit in you obviously!
I have ferrets... they don't cuddle :(
what is it with cats and computers? Mine will only stay on my lap when I'm trying to do anything on the computer...
Niamh My son wanted a ferret but we have laws in California making it illegal to own one. I understand they're curious to the point of distraction...and can be distructive if not kept busy...is that correct?
thanx Missy ...but Imstill missying the mo 5/16 and one mo5/14......::::::::)
Darleen...is it possible they are attracted to the static electricity and other forces a computer bleeds out?
nah, I think she knows it annoys me ;-)
they are very curious, but not so destructive... I would say it's like having a kitten ~ forever playful and active
Mark - Just listened to your "Untitled" piece on Soundclick. I really liked it. Is that the one you were referring to?
Tim - I'm done and I don't have a mo5/16. Check again.
Thanks, Missy -- I do :) Darleen -- before I moved to PA, my one cat, Meeper, claimed my lap whenever I was in the computer room -- the other two had to content themselves with sitting in the doorway
no Luv, the "new" song is The Medley...
mo 5/16 mo*** operandi mo5/14 (could you mean mo5/12?) both are spelled the same except for the last letter...one ends in a vowel...the other a consonant, but both vowel and consonant are used to pluralize the word
Got that one playing right now... verrry nice. :)
clue for the last ce 6/24 please?
Niamh I find them fascinating creatures but I don't have the energy to keep up with them :)
ce 6:plural of the ce 5 (a type of tree)
thx Luv...i wanted to put up some free tunes before the next CD
Tim - sorry - I do have the mo5/16 mo + 4th letter in alpha + you & me.
not the plural one... the other one
mark -- this is definitely a great piece for using as background for a guided meditation
Naimh-sorry that was the first ce, let me work on the second!
ce 6/24 this sounds like the dog star, sirius in a way... take the word above this word + opposite word for "them"
GW, isn't it always the way? We have 2 cats and occasionally they will both consent to "share"me when I'm napping in the recliner...
ca 5/14? I have the one that's the plural. What the other one?
Mark, I may just have to get your first one! :) I should have stuck with piano lessons.... :( My claim to fame it playing the theme from "Love Story". lol
Missy, they are very fun and wonderful pets... but they do smell. I have to clean the cage at least twice a week
well Grey, a lot of my music was composed =with meditation in mind
Niamh lol I didn't know that! like rabbits?
thank you missy got it!
Niamh alright! :)
harpjane: like fake chocolate with an M
Darleen -- until we moved here, and thus had the entire apartment to ourselves instead of sharing with others, I used to have all 3 of my cats surrounding me on the bed at night -- talk about an adventure in rolling over! :D
Missy :::your a lifesaver"""""""""" ""5 more to go : )
thank you! 64 to go. Gonna cut it close tonight!
harpjane - ca5/14 ca + word that follows CD ___
Mark -- then I guess you got it right!! ;D
Hi Kids!!
down to my last 5 m's now -- the d's were much easier than I thought they would be :)
Hello SB :)
Missy, did I know you were in California?? I'm near Grass Valley.
GW ... hubby has a similar problem with ours. I toss and turn so much they leave me alone but, esp in the winter, our two pin him to the bed every nite. Now mind you, he's 6'2" and weighs close to 190 so those cats must be VERY heavy, LOL
Hello neighbor :)
Yeah my cat pins me.
cr 5/14? And cr 7/40? I have the one that knights did in the Middle Ages.
Spat I'm in Foresthill :)
CR7/40 - chage the last letter to a different vowel.
Hi there I'm back could not sleep over the grid words Harpjane tried to reach you yesterday again at the mail you gave me ... guess what .... no luck again you are unmailable at least for me,,' Folks 4 words to go please help me en 5/12 sa 5/12 do 6/24 ????
Darleen -- have you ever seen the book "The Theory of Cat Gravity" by Robin Woods -- it explains how cats can pin anyone in place despite being a fraction of their size
We are almost neighbors!! Wave!!
No GW I haven't. Sounds like one I HAVE to have, thanks!
cat gravity hahaha
5 more ......dont have the cu 5/14 ......also need the ru5/12.....
do6/24 -- add the letter that starts it to the 5/12
Harp cr 5/14 first 3 letters are the same as the word above this one + "ra" And cr 7/40 During the Middle ages the knights went on a cr***** to the mideast both 7's end in different vowels
cu 5/14 cu + double consonant + plural
cu 6/24 & 7/36?
The Theory of Cat Gravity states that cats convert sunlight into gravity and can release it at will -- this is best seen by the fact that when a cat jumps into a window they ghost up and in, but when they jump down they go 'Thud!'
ru5/12 this is the plural of word above it...

MissyMe do not understand sa 5/12 clue help please!!!
cu6/24 -- rhymes with ru6/21 (a jogger)
night Tim
cu 6/24 its funner to type this onner with a double consonant
sa5/12 -- insert an o before the last letter of the sa4
cu7 is plural -- same with the ru7
Thanks . 35 words to go, in 35 minutes...
sa 5/12 like the word above it only insert an "o" before the last letter
dr 4?
I watch way too many kid shows... your double consonant thing is reminding me of the goose from Charlet's Web
dr4 -- change the first letter of the cr4 -- a measure of liquid
dr 4 just a small bit, rhymes with the first cr4/6
the def is for the dr, not the cr
Niamh lol We've got lots in common where it really counts Where it really counts We have large amounts... What we look like doesn't Count an Ounce We have lots in common where it really counts!
Thanks! du 6/24? either one?
du6 -- also rhymes with the others
du 6/24 yet another funner word than most du 6/24 plural of word above it rhymes with curass
still at work - wanted to say hi to all of you!!! so HI...8)
the other du6 builds from the du4 -- du4 -- du + double consonant du5 - du4 + a du6 - plural of du5 du5 - plural of du4

ne words? either one?
prodrafter ru 6&7 are people who go faster than joggers
Darn work - just keeps getting in the way - I see you guys didn't need my help - congrats on finishing.
prodrafter mo 5/12 mo + spelled differently than "ray" but sounds the same second mo5/12 is same as above but the ending...both words use letters that pluralize them
the last mo 5/12 has a different ending than the one before it
ne 7 -- a brain surageon is a ne***ologist + not da, but ** ne8 - plural
some ru's follow the f"unner" route... the first two ru's have to do with this threat: "You'll ru* the day you were born!" now add an "r" at the end for the first and pluralize it for the second
Thanks GW, 18 to go! I might actually make it!

Hiya, just 5 to go... or 6/24 ra 6/21 please
lol! a couple of artists scared the wits out of me one day...they were trying to encourage me to make a tape of me saying my poetry so they could set it to music...scary!
ra6/21 was just given by Niamh or6 = or + du4/6 (3rd one)
Missy -- you should do it!

ru4 - one that regrets
1st ru4 -- one who regrets ru5 is plural
harpjane, a person who mixes flour and water to make gravy... (not really but that's what I think of)
aha! 8 to go! thank you
Harp "You'll ru* the day you were born!" now add an "r" at the end for the first and pluralize it for the second this is probably the one you're missing
C'mon harp!!!!!
tu, all er 4/4 (1st one) du 5/16
Harp Harp Harp!!!!
the er 4/4 sounds like one of the guys from sesame street .... Bert and ____
er4 -- sounds like to ea-- a living
the sc words?
du5/16 -- the du4 before it + c
chic er 4/4 sounds like the word earn but spelled diffferently...like the man's name that starts with a "V", as in Jules V****
du 5/16... du + another word for stone - the K
sc5 -- windows have sc5's in them
sc4 -- drop the last letter of the 5
sc + double vowel
SC - you watch a movie on a big sc____ and for the sc5 drop the last letter.
sorry -- sc6 and then 5
sorry there's a consonant before that double vowel...
