Hi everyone!11
second post! Hi peri
hi all
Hi yourself!
Can't believe I was the first to post!!! Hi, JB
Hey, hoot, here I am, waiting to see the new stats!
Good job, peri!
And so we start anew! HI to all!
um, GW, you've got a little chocolate dribble in the left corner of your mouth...
Peri - you posting first is a good omen.
I'm wondering if we'll get a word list before 2pm tomorrow!
AAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!!! Dr _God knows! 202 words!!!!!!!!
Jacula, I sure hope so
I am usually asleep at this hour (1 am) but I took a nap and therefore am not tired now.
(*wipes mouth*) But over half are 4 letters, JB :)
And look at all those a's!
No "weird" letters, anyway!
Hello Everyone -- just logged on so haven't even taken a peek yet!
I'm happy about the a's, for sure, hootowl.
Ok - how do you know how many words????
Making up for no a's in the last two? -- and an s, even
c7/36
If you went pro, you have access to the stats panel that shows the total amount of words by letter count, and by placement in the grid. Each letter grays out once all the words it starts are found.
hoot -- benefit of being pro status -- the stat page gives word count, breakdown by letter count and shows how many words start with each box on the grid :)
Hail and Hello to ALL This is a crwth (icon)
202 words and 109 of then are 4's.
And now, full of chocolate and camraderie, and before I stress about today's grid - Goodnight everyone!
Well I can't and won't. I'd have to get that paypal thing and really don't like paying for anything on-line. But waiting 12 hrs for a list in Anon is not fun.
Excuse spelling error - listening to my fave song of all time now - Lyn Skyn's 'Freebird' live version.
hoot I don't think you have to join Paypal in order to pay someone via PP.
Usually the list at Bab Anon is up fairly soon after the flip, unless Brandyjack is afflicted with one of his migraines -- then it is several hours til post
c7/36 x 2
Yep! Yesterdays was real late. And I know about the migraines so am not complaining...just frustrating.
As for today's grid. Won't be looking at it untll tonight, UK time.
Hope this is a more friendly grid then the last two! They certainly put me in my place!
We do have one S that is a charmer
w7/48
For now, I'll be sliding out slowly to Lyn Skyn - as I intend to at my very end,,,
and she's OFF and running!! [waves at Deb]
So long, Jac -- Enjoy your day :) (*Hug*)
<<passes Darleen a vodka & waves back..... :)
[slurp] ahhh. I needed that. thanks!
Night jac - thanks for the help.
Hugs GW back. Will do. *gets off and mind-lost on guitar solo*. Hopes her family will do so too, when the time comes.

Hehe. Thanks, Ishult and Chessy. What a strange word!

the weather in my corner of the world has me a bit worried...it is FAR too warm for january! dont get me wrong, i LOVE warm weather, but i dont want a freak blizzard in july!
It's unusual weather here also. I had to dig a hole the other day and the ground wasn't frozen one bit. I think we'll pay for this freaky weather later.
breakfast time! back in a bit all!
Why can't I have Santana.....they're great
Hi all, just popped in to do a few words before the school run.Are you all ok?
Hi caitlyn. Tbear as you found them - you can keep them. (love their music)
Hi caitlyn.....yeah they're cool....So Cool
Hello caitln. Evandine just dropped out for breakfast. Do you think my icon made her hungry?
He makes me more than hungry!!! WOW
It's an H word, right??...8)
Yup and its not in todays grid...
I know it's hard to believe....but sometimes we have to think outside the grid.
I never thought of that. I think i have gone babble crazy !!
The CDC is working on a cure. It's an international pandemic. Way worse than the threat of bird flu.
blueberry bagel with cream cheese and honey, a hard-boiled egg, and a mountain dew livewire...hehe breakfast of champions!

I thought the breakfast of champions was your icon gramma,he would be mine anyway!!
You are so right 8)
*le sigh* i DO wish my stupid computer here at work would actually update peoples icons as they update them! i cant do a force refresh here, so all i can try is to clean out my cache + my cookies, but then i hafta fill in all my email addresses and passwords in all the sites i go to and thats oh-so-tedious!
I had better sign off for now.....shopping before the school run....see you all later happy babbling...lol X
c ya later, caitlyn.
Can anybody give me a clue for the 2nd an7? I can't seem to concentrate on this today. I can only find 4 and 5 letter words. Any thing longer than that and my mind wanders. And you all know how scarey that can be.
the only 7 i have is the CH, sorry gramma!
Thanks any way
just working on the a's now, iwll let you know if/when I find it, and in the mean time don't go signing anything!!!
just monkey-typed one, not wure if its the right one.... AN + vowel + nuisance
one an 7 has a p4 as the ending. other one starts with the same 3 letters, then a t4 that is not actually a word, but rhymes with "the ph___ the moon is now in..."
thanks anyas_wrath!!

DarleenMB, you will have to wait your turn. I don't share very well.
Hmm. Well, how's about we SWAP for a bit, hee hee.
inge, why are you skipping it? it is warm here and looks like rain. I was able to work in the garden yesterday.
Here are a couple of 7s: bo7 a place at the marina; rhymes with a traveler's inn wh7: something you put on a shelf
too many words for my computer to handle. When it gets that slow the game is not relaxing anymore.
Well, the hour I allot myself to working puzzle is up. Only 117 words found, but what the hey...GL to all my fellow babblers..the day awaits!
DarleenMB, I'm not done yet. Puleeez give us time. I'm an old lady. We'll trade later.

help with an 7/28?
Why isn't wantan a word? Isn't there a wantan soup in my chinese menu?
wonton
i think it's wonton. not wantan
A form of titanium dioxide used in paint, hurshy
there is also a word wanton but not wantan
a7 a rare blue or yellow to light brown crystalline mineral used in paint.
ok, i KNOW we've had that one before - i have got to try to remember it in the future.
I can never remember the t-word that sounds like Welsh Mafia!
first ch6?
refresh! the welsch have a mafia?
Who knows, bach? If they did, it would sound like the ta5/16. Need help with sa5/10, if anyone's got it.
ch6/24 -A bristle or seta, especially of an annelid worm
Hydra, sa5/10 = jolly old fellow, but change last letter
hydra, sa5/10 kinda like father christmas, but change the last vowel
hydra...think of father Christmas with a diff ending

answer? an Amish drive-by
Oh man, poking fun at the Amish. You know we'll never find them here!
Like it! LOL
You guys....
kinda difficult to access the internet if u don't have electricity...
yeah, if the amish mafia have it in for you - well - barn raising accidents have been known to happen...
You just have to turn the crank REALLY fast...
nb: i love the amish
nenauli- LOL!! true!
afternoon all!
So maybe all the weekend cottage burning in Wales was by the Welsh mafia
Did anyone ever watch that TV show "Amish in the City"?
sigh, i need help with the second ch 6/7 combo
nenaluli -- my BF and i did...heh
scratch that - pulled a hurshy again
OMG it was the queerest show ever. A bunch of teenage amish kids going to live in.. what was it? NY? or San Francisco?
Hola! How is everyone??
Lupe! how r u?
Hi Lupe! we're gettin' wild. talkin' smack about amish.
pretty sure it was somewhere out in cali... it was like watching a car wreck...heh... sadly, the amish kids were more open-minded and well-adjusted (emotionally, at least) than the "city kids"
Good (for a monday)...thanks Mark!
LOL smaller - you bunch of trouble-makers!
Haha true Evanadine. And that Kirstie Alley movie "For richer or poorer". What a riot!
living on the edge, Lupe. babble rebels
today I realized that e-mail is such a blessing, yet such a curse. sometimes words just don't translate well in an e-mail. a phone call on Friday would have saved me a big headache this morning!!
hello everyone
hi ruthy!
Hi Ruthy! Lupe - I agree.
*Squeals* Love the Tigger icon! ^_^
did I scare everyone away??? was is something I said?? lol
I take it back - I LOVE E-MAIL!
i need help with an fe 5/16 before the fe4 cheese
LOL Lupe! it's just slow in here today. bigger grid probably. I hate email too. except with friends. for work it's horrible. people take seconds to write a question, that they are too lazy to look up. Ruthy- cute!

Bye for now Hurshy.
Good morning, all! ha 6/21: extend the 5/12 preceding it -- to speed (something or someone) up
hi cybernan! and thanks!
Thanks cybernan.I have that one ,it`s the first one I need.
Deutsch -- The need for a paper trail is rediculous. Next time I am just going to pick up the phone. Also, I got a new computer at work and lost all my bookmarks, stored passwords, etc. Not to mention that today the tech person did something and removed a bunch of programs that were just installed on Friday... which, of course I need today. My tech guy does not get in until after noon!!! ARGH!
forgive my manners, hi cybernan.
I scared everyone off again :-(
Lupe if you feel better and the steam no longer pours from your ears I for one don`t mind.
Thanks macadam. I'm done....it's a good day. I'm awake, got to tell my son that I love him, still have my job, and haven't gotten a call from my son's school (so far) today.
And you have all of us , universal pals.
that's right!! thanks again macadam!
Macadam -- didn't have it when you asked, but do now... ha 6/21: ha + curvy letter + allow

HI Lotti! Pretty dress!
Bo6 & bo7 please?
Why thankyou...... ;) lol
Lotti- you're welcome! Mary- I don't have those either
bo - add on to your bo 4/6...
Mary extension of the bo4 above +plural
They begin with the sailing vessel and rhyme with hotel, the 7 is plural :)
Mary rhymes with a place you would stay over when driving
Thank all, got it. Means: a ship that functions as a hotel and its plural.
As usual, the a's are defeating me.... an 7/28? ap's? - just have the simian
cybernan, from hydra earlier "form of titanium dioxide used in paint"
Cyber...... a rare blue or light yellow to brown crystalline mineral, the rarest of three forms of titanium dioxide, used as a pigment especially in paint.
Ooo must dash.....back soon :)
can anyone please give me a clue for the 1st na 4/4
na 4/4 what grandchildren call you

first Na4 Type of indian bread
Ruthy, na4/4 leavened bread baked in a clay oven in India; but double the vowel.

Evening /Afternoon all....ruthy what part of Wales are you from?
penarth near cardiff
I know Penarth well im in the Rhondda!!
can anyone give me a clue for the sa 5/10 please
spanish for holy
sa5/10 almost like the man who calls at xmas different end
hmmm... need help with last two na's (don't be surprised if i monkey them before you can get the clues out...)
I think they rhyme with ro****.......to spin or turn
sorry lotti, not no's, na's :)
Derrr.....ignore that you said na!!!!!!!
na6/18.....floating or swimming in water na5/10 rhymes with m****........friends
Hi lotti - you look devine today *must be careful not to get faerie dust on Lottis pretty yellow dress* just a sprinkle for her hair *giggles and hides*
*smiles at faeriekae's antics*
i could have used your faerie dust on friday - was having unpleasant side effects from a med.
Thanks.....:D you`re the 2nd person to comment on the dress.....it`s Vanessa Mae, she`s gorgeous isn`t she!!!!! Lucky thing !!
hi everyone!
Hurshy - sorry to hear that. I'll share my faerie dust anytime sweetie....
Hi Temple
Hey Temple....how are you?? :)
hi temple! floating or swimming in water...that sounds easy enough...am i a dunce today?
Hurshy - what type meds were you on?
It ends in three little letters meaning insects
no 5 please? faerie - does your magic dust help math ability? i am at a break in doing final exam...
ah, thanks lotti. faerie - i tried an antidepressant. just the one day. debating whether to try a different one.
ooh, what class temple? i'm a math teacher
Temple - my faerie dust will fix or cure anything %**%*% except this da** grid.
Temple...the ability to do something....having the no***
lol! actually, managerial accounting...
faeerriieakaeeea, i have the flu, could really use some cure-all fairy dust
no5 - phonetic spelling of the knowledge required to do something
OMG I`m on a refresh Math course.....it gets me ready for GCSE level..
Hurshy - I'm taking celexa and valium...the combo seems to really help.
i tried lexapro. the thing is, i'm not that bad - i'm borderline. so it's really kind of up to me whether i want to take something or just cope as best i can.
Smaller *sprinkle *sprinkle *sprinkle* there, that should make you feel better soon. (*^_^*)
lotti - got any math ?'s i can help with? :)
Hurshy - the Celexa is great - very mild - I have a sister-in-law who tries to fight the world with out meds but she now swears by it....saved her, really
hursh - i have one ting to say: the decision is yours alone. but unless you have been thru it and back ...well, you are not always the best judge of what's right for you. have a dr. you can trust is the best advise
but of course, faerie, each med affects everyone differently. part of my prob, i think, is that i have a really sensitive stomach.
Faerie...was it you that was temp laid off work a while ago because of "the boss" saga??? Or have i got you mixed up with someone else??
i have a psychologist and an MD advising me - and they say it's up to me! :) i hate that.
thanks faerrieeikaeaeae!
I have a class in the morning Hurshy....Just covering the basics so far!! Metric etc :/
Hurshy - I agree with Temple see a couple of diffrent Drs. before making your own decision. I just went thru a divorce, my Mom has dementa and on and on and on so every situation is diffrent
well let me know if i can help anytime. pay you back for all the babble clues. :)
Smaller - you are just so cute.....
Cheers Hurshy, may have to take you up on that at some point :)
whati'm saying is i had probably been depressed since ihad a miscarriage - hormones and all - and it became everyday life - i forgot what it felt like to be right! then life knocks you around and what might be a little blue becomes a whole lot black
Hurshy - Life sure has a way of playing dirty little tricks on us huh?
good luck hurshy!
my psych says i've probably been mildly depressed all my life, just got a smidge worse a couple weeks ago. but i sort of wonder then, if i go on a med for a bit, then go off, won't i just go back - if this is just my personality?
Awww You guys all need a hug......Group (((((Hugs)))))
i'll join that (((((((HUG)))))))
Hurshy - All I can say is thank God for my Babble friends at least I can find an escape. Living in Michigan with noone to talk to sucks. My entire family lives in Kentucky -- going there this Wed. for short visit.
yeah, babble helps me a lot too.
me too! ((((( ))))) the thing feeds on itself - sometimes it just needs to be set back on the right track
Lotti- (((((((hugs)))))) I agree.
now how about that no 5/20 anyone pls?
Sometimes an antidepressant is only necessary for a short time. To get over a tough time, learn new patterns of "self-talk" etc. There's such a stigma about antidepressante. Nobody thinks a diabetic should "tough it out" with no insulin. But even though clinical depression is often caused by a hormonal or chemical imbalance, we think we can beat it if we try harder..... That being said, Prozac changed my life, for the better, about 20 years ago.
Harpjane - Amen
yeah, that is what they tell me harp. i may give another one a try...
faeriekae - just take the beginning of your question and drop the first w
no5/20...have the no***, the ability to do something
Ok ----- I'll take the fish NOW.
LOL Faerie!!!!! :)
i have the funn ho word and its plural, and the one that's part of no5/12 - am i missing one?
Yes. The first Ho5/12
yes, the first 5 - rhymes with c**** the barbarian
Well i must go and make dinner. See you all tomorrow. Bye :)

Hey hurshy, I'm here, but I haven't done the E's yet. Just wanted to say hey and give ya a smile! :)

Think of Disney's animated classical music, then replace the "Fan" with "en"
oh, yikes, i'm late for class! got to find the last one later i guess...
Hasta luego hursh
Thanks Vicuna...what kind of word is that!!
GREAT clue, vicuna! thanks!
No idea, but the dictionary just says "see tonic spasm"!
can anyone give me a clue for the sa 5/10 please
sa5/10 -Spanish for "saint", sounds like St Nick, with different final letter
ruthy....father xmas with a diff end
thanks vic una and t bear
i am back - i need some help please with the two ha6...
One ha 6 means to hurry and adds onto the word before it. The other means hog-guts and ends like the last name of "Titanic" actress Kate. (Those clues are in reverse alphabetical order.)
ty vicuna - i had the hurry but not the hog-guts eeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww! it's a 5 i seek!
Which 5?
now just missing one word - letter unknown ( i hate when that happens...)
done one little pesky te4! i have to run - topick car up from shop : (
Congratulations! (on finishing, and on the car being done at the shop!)
well vicuna - the bill is $$$!!!
No fun, but presumably better than a car that doesn't function!
bye and happy babbling!
TO, I know the feeling... I actually had 2 claims running when my car was in last week... one for a parking lot crash (not my fault, BTW) and then the breakin! Talk about pricey, but at least the insurance picked it all up. :)
all done thank u all for ur help
hey all :)
na 6/18?
na6 means: Floating or swimming in water
i'm back, thanks vicuna - great clue, now i'm finished!!!
na6/18 - means swimming or floating in water, ends like Teenage Mu-- Ninja Turtles.
Congrats, Hurshy.

i dont know of you guys got it, but that's my typed out interpretation of the dance of joy. :)
You walk down it as a bride.
That's why I start at the bottom... so I can be stuck on the last one instead! :) (sorry, don't have that one yet)
hello evryone....:)
pixie - think of a wedding, the bride walking down the ai___
hi karys!

Hi Boreetos!! Happy Monday!
no, not yet, i was joining in on Hurshy's being done. He said we should do the dance of joy, so I did.
sorry hurshy....didn't go down far enough...!!!

thanks, it's a doosy so far.
got 13 to find....think I have to do a BJ now
Tee hee, Karys... do you know what that just sounded like? :)
Jen - you went there - I was not brave enough to....
karys, does that mean the same thing in Europe that it means here?
no...do tell....am I being a lttle braindead ?
Lupe, it was just sitting there out in the open... I HAD to!!!
Got it! Brandy Jack! nevermind!
looks like thats a no then boreetos.....but it could just be me !!!
so...who's gonna tell her?
ROFLMAO!!!!!
not it!
I'm trying to figure a way to explain without getting myself kicked off Babble!
not it!
I was too much of a chicken to even point it out...
ok, 3 things 1) thanks karys 2) i'm american and i don't know what horrid meaning BJ might have 3) boreetos thinks i'm a boy... *tears*
so....how bout this weather we're having?
LOL Smaller!!!!
Okay, when Moneypenny said James Bond was a cunning linguist... it was a reference to guys doing... and when you said do a BJ...
come on guys....someone has to !!!
Let the hysterical laughter begin!
bawk bawk bawk bawwwwwk
think Monica Lewinski!!
ok...Jen...got it...that was excellent....weel done you.. !!!...:) ;)
Une, that was a great way to explain it, thanks! :)
ah.
my bad Hurshy, i suck at pronouns. and uh, BJ is the common abreviation for the common term for felatio.
Is it getting hot in here, or is it just me?
good job jen and une!
i think we've all got it now.
heh heh heh
wow, I'm a lot less subtle.
(incidentally, though, if i didn't know "BJ" do you really think i would know "felatio"?)
just one question here....why 'BJ'....... aahh....scrap that...just all become VERY clear.....so sorry everyone....!!!!
boreetos, but very factual. and akin to your gender
good point Hurshy... um... yeah.
i do what i can :)
pretty soon we will be coming to a screen with the message - "click here if you are over 18, if not you must get parental consent to enter this site."
well, if miya or speedfreak sam had been here, we wouldn't have talked about this...
LOL...Lupe
:) the only adult onlt word search game on the net!
once i was looking to download a tetris and i accidentally downloaded 'adult tetris'.... interesting....
Maybe Dr. God should start a playbabble4kids -- my 10 year olf son called a few minutes ago and asked that I register him to play. hmmmm.
OOops - 10 year old
how come potato and banana are both so close?!
coz youre feeling hungry? :p
close to what boreetos ?
to being in the grid i think
close to being in the puzzle. :) yeah that wasn't very clear. I really wasn't trying to say that Banana and Potato were close to each other. Honest!
aaahh...yes...I see that too now
nowherepixie, adult tetris?
yes it was disturbing... :s ....worth a giggle though :p
Clues for the last two Ch's? (6/24 & 7/36)
so ironically cybernan, the ch6 means pure (unlike what we've been talking about) and the 7 adds an N
like a nun...cybernan !
there's ONE 6/24 that's pretty funny considering the conversation we've just had!
can anyone help with the other ch7 please ?
and ofcourse dropping the c on both of those are two of the h's as well.
nowherepixie.... disturbing like i'm-just-saying-that-to-cover -my-bottom-so-you-people-won' t think-i'm-creepy-b/c-it's-ac tually-pretty-nifty or disturb ing like ...disturbing
meanwhile I'll put the kettle on....coffee anyone ?
lol well disturbing like... why would someone put so much effort into making that? :s hehe
ch 6/7 combo: the 6: add the blanks in pax r*m*** the 7: appropriately enough, given my clue, latin plural
I have the purity ones, thanks -- it is the latter two that I'm looking for (following what some people do to tobacco)
:) smaller. There's a version of tetris on the Monty Python and the Holy Grail video game, themed around the "Bring out your dead!" sketch. The pieces are all dead people, and every once and a while, you'll get a piece that's not dead yet and the peice moves around and changes position. It's weird and just a little bit awesome.
or, if you prefer to google: ch6: The opening into the nasopharynx of the nasal cavity on either side; posterior naris.
2nd ch6: The opening into the nasopharynx of the nasal cavity on either side; posterior naris. then make it plural like in Latin 101 (not with the S)
and why we're not allowed that ch6 with the letters -te tacked on the end, I'll never know!
poor, suffering atalante
Thank you, hurshy
cnan - did you use my first clue, or google (just curious...)
thank you all...but how do I google ?
used first clue, hurshy
Hey did you miss me? Well, if you did or not...I'm Baaaack!
I used that word many times in my PhD thesis! *pets the word*
open up a new window, type in www.google.com, and enter whatever you want to search into the search field. It's the best.
Karys, open another window (easiest so you don't have to go back pages)... and type in www.google.com put the phrase or word or whatever and hit enter... that's all.
GOT IT...GOt IT...."!!!!..TY..TY..TY
oh goody karys - you copy and paste the clue in to the text box at www.google.com and hit enter. see what comes up.
who woulda thunk it that there would be so many tetris options!
day late, dollar short
really ?...is it that simple....why have I not done this before ?.....have you just not been telling me something !!!
leave it to babblers to know tetris so well!
fl 6/27?

Never mind -- just monkey typed it!

bye boreetos!
bye boreetos!
jen.. i can't believe that's actually a word! some of these are so silly. thanks for the clue!
The ironic thing is that the enable dictionary has no def. for it, but when I monkey-typed it, that's all I could think of.

thanks harp...dont know why I miss the easy ones!

it must be something to do with an instrument... but I can't make out what it is... part of a harp?
pipe organ!
harp, here i was thinking they were rolling pins in end and you were just THAT good of a musician that you could even make music from a gross of rolling pins
Sorry. I was on the phone w/the man in my life. I mean the love of my life. 8)

What the heck is going on here, isn't anybody here working? smaller where are you, get everybody back to work.
thinkthey all fell off the end Jessie !
finished work three hours ago, Jessie... I'm on my own time now... :D
I scared them ;-} They all feel guilty, i just know it.
shhh, jessie. you're interfering with my unstable work vs. babble conscience
I don't want to ruin it for you, I just like to make myself feel less guilty by blaming others ;-}
I don't feel guilty at all...it's nearly 10 'o'clock here !!!
ooooo good strategy! that same plan is why i bring treats to the office so much so that i fatten up everyone around me
and that makes you 'smaller' !!!!
karys, ding ding ding! it's only by comparison!
you're made for each other...
shreb, since you finished work and you're all comfortable at home while the rest of us are struggling with our bosses and the phones ringing, and people demanding things from us non-stop for 8+ hours... Have a good day!
aahh...but from here....we all think you tiny....we can't see
Hey everyone... just popping in to ch4/6 a bit!
wb Jera :)
Jessie - just think, 12 hours from now, when you're snug in your nice warm bed, dreaming of sunny summer days, I'll be fighting my way through the traffic to work, wrapped up against the biting Arctic wind...
Hey Karys... my son has dubbed your happy cat... *drumroll*... Happy!
oooohh....sherb....don't !!!
Having trouble with my last word - sa 5/10. Any clues?
Don't worry - I just got it!!!
Think of Mr. Claus with a different vowel ending...
well ....there you go then.....could you have thought of something nearly so good....thank you Jera's big boy xx
sa 5/10: Spanish saint
afternoon/evening all! just popping on for a few minutes at the dance studio before my classes get here!!
He's busy watching Backyardigans now... priorities, ya know...
shreb, what is "Artic Wind"? I live in California. Here it never goes below 70F and never over 80F. We only know 70 to 80F.
but of course Jera....we all have them !
Too bad neither santa nor satan are valid...
Jessie....not going to talk to you if you are going to be not nice !!!
hello there evan :)
He just got home from preschool... got in trouble today for hitting a little girl during naptime (I think he's got a crush on her!)... I'm so embarrassed
You must be in southern Cal, Jessie -- I've seen snow in northern CA
oh dear....never mind....one of my worst was when my youngest had a p**....fight at school...the headmistress rang me at home to tell me !!
hi Jera and evanadine :D :D Jessie - actually, the wind is coming from Siberia at the moment... bbrrrrrrrr... but California weather sounds a little dull...we can have four seasons in one day!!
Yes, I've seen snow in the movies too...
Anyone need any clues before I leave?
Hey, sherb, how's it going? I feel the same way about seasons... I couldn't live somewhere that it was always the same, even if it were nice weather... Here in Virginia we are getting a taste of Spring in January... not much Winter weather this year for us!
Jera - don't be embarrassed. I'm to the point that I have told all my friends NOT to call me on my cell phone during the day because I always assume it's my son's school. The stories I can tell you!
shreb, we like four seasons in a year. We lend out Winter to Chicago, Ottom and Spring share the winter season. it's not dull, we get to spend more time outside doing things. If we want snow we go out to the mountains, far, far, away...
regarding the weather - I'm in Chicago, 'nuff said.
got to say bye now everyone...see you tomorrow ...:)
Bye Karys! I'm leaving too....
im outta here myself -- might be able to sign back on late this evening...heh gnite all!
good thanks, Jera... :) ...noticed at the weekend that the days are starting to get longer...Spring is on it's way... a sure sign that we'll soon get snow !!:D
Bye Karys --I'm on my way as well -- see you tomorrow or at the flip, everyone. :)
bye Karys, eva, cybernan :)
Any clues for en 6 & 7? Please
it's bad enough that et4 keeps appearing, but to have et5 as well is just too much... how can there be more than one of them?
en6 -- 'sign up" for the army, or navy, etc
en7 reminds me of an old Disney film with dancing elephants...
Thank you pbr..
...and I don't mean Dumbo...
Thanks, Sherb! Hi everyone!
Are you talking about Fan*****? with Mickey Mouse?
hi Deutsch !! :D
thanks pbr
that's right, MaryJo... went on a school outing to see it at the cinema years ago... it would have been about 40 years old even then...
Thank you..

Hi kids...how's the puzzle today??
Not too bad, EB... how are you today?
Not too bad...busy day at work today...don't know if I should start the puzzle!!
Hmmm... there are a few tough (read weird) ones, but of course there is friendly help if you want to give it a go!
eeeewww...202...I think I might bow out today...my brain is fried from work!! Have a lovely evening!!! See you tomorrow....good luck with the grid!!
Thank you..

I live to serve... *bows*
hello again all.
man, i am dense sometimes. I've been searching and searching for my one remaining c word. and co4, and there it is plain as day. sheesh. I suck.
bovines rule. :)
ok ... when did "asia" get bumped from the dictionary
Yay for boreetos the bovine finder! (we gotta celebrate the small battles won, ya know)
thanks! yeah wordlady, I've had that problem with asia before as well, I guess since its a proper noun or some such silliness.
hmmmmmmmmm ... curious when names seem to work ... thanks for the input ... how y'all doin'?
not too shabby, yourself?
hangin in ...
I really can't figure out a rhyme or reason for what is valid... sometimes proper names are acceptable, some others are not... many foreign words are okay as well!
ultra bizarre, as is my need to go back to work. See you kids tomorrow!
help, I'm stuck in a Babble warp ... it won't let me post ... musta not liked what I had to say about it's "Enable" dictionary
Try refreshing, Wordlady...
mmmmmmmbbbbbbbbmmmmmmmmmmmm ... ok I've broken out
hello all can someone give me a clue for the ch 5/36 pls
sher... take the ch5/22 above and add a letter. Sounds like a verb.
There isn't a Ch5/36. There's a Ch6/36 and a Ch7/36 do you mean one of those?
sorry mean the ch 5/14 welcome to my monday
Sher, there are two of those. One is what Tom the Cat does to Jerry the mouse.
Sheryl, the other is what we all do on this log... it's a ch** log plural..
Sher, the other is what kids do while jumping rope, or monks do at mass.
LOL, I guess there were three of those ch5/14 words!
thats it ty so much wass driving me nuts
What's the point toal for today's grid?
the first ha6/21???
202 words, 2339 points
Ha + I5/10 without the i
thanks
Ha6 sounds like a little bother.
thanks tiger ...and minbat.:-}
need 7 more, 2nd ne5/10?.....3rd fe5/16???
Time, the nr5/10, take the ne4/4 below it and an a letter in the middle to sound like someone who says the sound a horse makes.
The fe5/16 you want means a little dog, but is spelled like that ne5 you just wanted. If you added a Y to the end, it would mean spunky and argumentative (fe***y).
Tim, what's wrong with my typing? I should have typed, a message ago, "Tim, the nE5/10, take the ne4/4 below it and ADD a letter in the middle to sound like someone who says the sound a horse makes."
thanks minbat, got them both. great clues..
Don't ya hate it when you mis-typo a good clue?
now I'm missing the en7, and alot of the an words
The A's are a major pain today...
The en7 is a fascinating word, I just looked it up. Start with EN, then finish with that Disney movie from teh 50's where the critics thought the animators were on drugs.
Minbat... I'm curious... what is your icon? Can't quite make it out...
Wow that is weird!
My icon is a little minbat in the wild.
thanks again 8)
en7 = Tonic spasm; -- applied generically to denote any disease characterized by tonic spasms, as tetanus, trismus, etc. The things you learn playing this game...
Sorry, I should have guessed that common sense from your name... but I don't know what a minbat is!
how about clues for both an7s??????
The first an7 is a terrific word, and appears in this handy poem I know to remember all your poetic feet. Each line is in a different meter, and uses the name of the meter: IAMBUS, king of all the north Sucking TROCHEES ventured forth Galloping DACTYLS emerged from their nest But he struggled and conquered this AN*****. SPONDEE!
man, I mean min, you lost me!!!!
an7 - use the first three letters of the first an4/4 - add pe4/5 meaning nuisance.
Er... sorry. The first an7 is the metrical foot that goes short-short-long.
2nd an 7/28 - use the first three letters as before, add anagram of se4/4 meaning place to sit
And the other an7 is a stupidhead chemical word. Take the first 3 letters of the an4 above, and add the four-letter word that cops do to people with an electric gadget instead of shooting them. Only don't spell it with a Z.
Haz writes more coherent clues.
Clues for Ap6 and Ap7?
I mean 5 and 6 *should check what she writes before posting*
googled metrical foot and found your poem.....cool
There isn't an ap7, I don't think. THe ap5 and following ap6 are the singular and plural of a sleep disorder where you don't breathe properly during sleep.
Hi Everybody! Great clues being given - thanks!
Thanks Minbat, thats me done. Any clues needed?
Congrats, Tigereye!
Im either missing the 2nd or the 3rd an5/10...help
Both are plural forms of an4/4 - normal plural and latin plural
Hey Ho Babblers. I have a question. ... when you all give a definition for a clue (which I love by the way) is there a quick way to get to the dictionary to look it up? BTW refresh if you see the bobcat icon. I picked a musical one. I'm so impressed I figured out how to do it.
musicmom - if you press on the question mark beside each word it will take you to a dictionary.
Thanks Haz
You're welcome - hope it helps.
Okay next question. How do you search when you know the definition but not the word?
musicmon You could google it or try the reverse dictionary www.onelook.com
Aha! A reverse dictuinary
Last one!!!!just need the wa5/20.....???
stuck on the ha 6/21 have the first one can someone help
tim wa is a plural of the wa 4/9
The second ha6/21 means to make someone go faster
ty gwen great clue

Hey there, musicmom... nice to see you again!
hey guys
Thanks Jera. My brain is split right now. Jeopardy is on<g>
Tim, remove the last letter from wa6/33 to get the wa5/20
thanks Sheryl......202 words.....2339 points......DONE
thanks gwen
Glad to be able to help. Congrats, Tim!
I give in gracefully, still 68 to find and I'm tired. Goodnight all, and the best of luck.
any help with the oa5/10 and oa4/4? I feel word blind and can only see the first oa...
NIte, ExWren... sweet dreams & return fresh to Babble again!
Huzzah for Tim!!! *does happy dance of done-ness in Tim's honor*
(sorry I just noticed... I'm trying to cull my e-mail inbox to under 300 messages)
oa4/4 - what you feed a horse
oa5/10 is when you have something made from oa4/4...
use the o in the upper right corner for the other one.
Thanks, I have it....how obvious, but I coldn't see them.
Duh I didn't read the oa request right. Sorry...
any clues for ta6/21?
That's one of the Babble mottos... these words HIDE, I swear they do!!
ta6/21 = A nutritive tissue within the sporangium, particularly within an anther. *google is your friend*
or, ta6/21 kinda sounds like what you would hear at a performance of River Dance!
jera -- why just today at lunch we were discussing the ta 6/21 .... good with italian dressing! LOL
thanks Jera, it googled right up.
ap5/12 and ap6/21 please
a sleep disorder and plural, sleep ap***
Stuck on ta5/16. ap5&6: not breathing while you sleep
periwinkle sleep disorder and plural
Frances, thanks so much, I knew those words, too, just couldn't see them
like the mafia with a different first letter
lwg and gwenski, thanks to you both, too
i did not know you could have more than one ap 5/12 -- that could prove fatal. weird words tonight
periwinkle then they slap you right in the face!
tx lwg. Now, to get three more ha's ....
missing the first ch6/24 and the second ch 7/36
1st ch6/24?
Tim: I think you were the one that gave me the recipe for Yellowfin Tuna. Thank you sooo much. We had it last night, and now I am a yellowfin tuna fan. Great recipe.
yes, my first ch5 is what the monks do
1st ch6/24 = A bristle or se4/4, especially of an annelid worm.
2nd ch7/32 is like a latin plural of the ch6/24
Thanks, that first ch6 is another new word for me
Well, I gotta scoot & start doing the littlies in bed thing... nite all... see ya tomorrow!
Help...what am I missing? The stats log that I have doesn't give me the extra clues of how many letters in each word (example ta5/16). How do I find this info? Thanks!
It's husband time.... back in a couple hours.
wa5/20?
J2 - On the right under Friends of Babble, click on Babblers Anonymous, then General, then the Stats for today's puzzle.
Remove the last letter from wa6/33 to get the wa5/20
gwenski, thanks, didn't think to do that
en 6/18 any one?
from one knitter to aknitter: en = to join the military
gwenski--thanks so much! hopefully that'll lead to at least a few more finds!
You would en6/18 if you wish to join one of the armed services.
ty deef. gotta get this list done, my yarn is calling me
en7/28?
peri, you thought the other words were weird? Wait until you get the en7! The definition is tonic spasm! It ends like the Disney animated cartoon movie set to classical music.
periwinkle en7/28 sounds like a type of knitting if you start with i def: tonic spasm
Hello all :) Hope everyone is well. I need a word I can't find in the chat anywhere. Apparently, I'm the only one who's stuck on it. :D ha5/18 thanx
thanks, Jera and Gwen. I had never heard of bristle worms and also got the other. I had to step away from my desk to check on something. THanks again!
MissyMe ha5/18 ha plus cod/trout/salmon etc with the h on the end
MissyMe sorry that should be with the h best I can do!!!
Frances Got it! Thanx so much :)
MissyMe sorry that should be without the h best I can do!!!
Good nite all. Happy hunting to those still looking.
any clue for the fi6/27 ( the first one)
found it! sorry asked too soon
Oh My God!!!!! There hasn't been a chat post for almost an hour!!!!! Someone call 911 - is anybody out there???? I'm getting the paddles.... *clear - POOT*..... am I getting a pulse?????
I'm here. Just got back. Still have 100 words to find:-) Can you tell I haven't been here for long?
Oh musicmom... thank goodness.... I came on and never saw the chat log left alone for so long and got scared!!! Thought maybe someone put a spell on Babbleonia and everyone was asleep!
We were playing PS2 football. It froze up or I still wouldn't be here. we were only in the 3rd quarter.
Me too! I'm here too. I just thought my computer wan't refreshing properly, not that there was a void in the babble universe! I'm glad you spoke up Mama, who knows how long the maddness would have continued. :)
I know!!! Can you imagine - no chat for almost an hour!!!!!!! Gives me goose bumps.
How goes it Mama? I haven't been on in a while. Are you finally feeling better?
Yes, kristinc.... finally. Still coughing a little and sinusy, but better. Thanks for asking!!!! How are you?
Extremely tired but good. I stayed home from work today hoping that would be enough to get me through the week...we'll see! Enjoying my evening of babble however.
*yawn* evenin, moms!
oh, and kristin!
hi all - i just arrived home from the office....don;t think i'm going to even attempt it tonight!!!!
Hello, hello evanadine...and we thought we were the only ones still awake, alive etc. :)
heh, well, i just got here.... and im not sure id say i was alive OR awake!
i think i'm in existing mode.....
I give up - wa 6/22??
I'm just playing around. No way will I finish tonight. I'm playing for a bunch of high schoolers this week at a contest on Saturday. Rehearsals T, W and Th. More time on the piano bench than on the computer.
welcome nonetheless ren and evanadine
hi evanadine & rennie!!!! Ren - I finished this one in about 2 hours. It really wasn't bad (with the help of BJ's list and a2z for the toughies).....
I'm around too, but barely sentient and with 61 to go it ain't gonna happen tonight. Just sticking around until I get sleepy enough to doze off. renfield-existing mode is the perfect place to be!
gumpunk - there isn't any wa 6/22 that I can see
kristinc - why so tired? have you been ill?
musicmom - we'll always have sunday..(feel like that's a line of casa blanca.....) 8)
Hi eva! sounds like everyone had a rough weekend and/or Monday.... Hope it gets better for us all or this is gonna be one LOOOOONNNNNGGGGGGG week!
sick...pregnant, pregnant then sick...you know! :)
Oh THAT kind of sick. When are you due?
Yep. But Sunday just bring another busy week. From now until Valentines Day I'm going to be very busy between my business, Girl Scouts and on the side accompanying. That's okay - I like to be busy, but it won't leave much time for Babble finishing.
oh sorry, wa 6/33. Someone gave it earlier as a clue to find 5/20, but that doesn't seem to be helping my brain any.
Congrats Kristin. Is this your first?
eva - we'll just loll around in the ex mode.....
wa 6/33 - if you have the wa 5 above it, add an e to the end, then the 7 after that is the plural of the 6
kristin - when????
Musicmom, you do sound busy but it all sounds like great things. Yes, baby #1!
Cool. I have two girls - 5 and 11 years old.
and when is baby #1 gonna be here?
I'm usually not *that* busy but things have kind of piled up this month. I am a stay at home mom most of the time.
musicmom - you sound like a very busy, GOOD Mom - enjoy it!!! They grow up too fast.
Thanks Mama. I do love what I do.
Ren and Mama...due the first of August and I'm beginning to wonder how the next 6 months will go. These first few have been pretty challenging--people keep telling me things will improve (at least temporarily) :P
Yep they should get better soon.
kristin - just stay happen and enjoy the new life!!!
it will get better soon. The first couple months are the hardest when your body is adjusting to all the changes. Then it settles down for the middle 3 months and the last 3 you just grow, grow, grow!!!!! (and so does baby!)
Good to hear...we're enjoying the pregnancy and accompanying excitement nonetheless
Hi all -- stopping by before I have to deal with all the last minute things I NEED to get done before tomorrow Kristi -- it does indeed get better unless you are in the rare minority that never gets over the morning sickness -- however it does take some adjustment as your body redirects its energy towards growing the baby, thus making your everyday routine seem like a herculean task at times (*Hug*)
Oh and CONGRATULATIONS!!!
hey wolfie!!! ((hugs)) to you as well!!!!
preparing icon for tomorrow...may i get some opinions?
GW-good to hear even from the new, probably tired dad. Congrats to you and the fam as well!
Speaking of BABIES!!! Hi GW - how is the little guy doing? I bet you can't wait to get him & Kirsten home tomorrow!
oops --phone call
what's the theme tomorrow, evanadine?
ducks
ducks
why a duck? why not a chicken? love the marx's brothers viaduct routine!!
oooh ducks. Okay, I have never taken the time to get an icon but you better believe I will be finding me a stellar duck...they are my favorite animals!
well I guess I might as well go duck hunting....brb
tell us when to refresh so we can give you our 2 cents worth
ok, here is #1 -- classic
That's pretty good!
ok #1 little rubber duckies....
#2 -- romantic
# 2 best so far...
I love that one
#3 -- me + daisy duck
Daisy and you are cute but it is really tiny.
between 2 & 3
and finally... #4 -- my friend, donald duck + me
I like #2 but only because #3 is kind of small.
between 2 & 4
I missed all but the #4 choice, evanadine - I was out duck hunting. I like your donald pic though! this was a tough choice - I found Daffy, and a bear dressed in a duck outfit, but I picked this one. REFRESH, please!
mine's a golf club duck
ok, re-cropped the last 2 this is #3
too cute, evanadine - yours, too, ren!!!! Is mine to obscure to tell what it is?
mama - it looks like a duck w/ a big pistole!!!
and again, #4
i feel like i'm having my eyes tested!!!! may we have 3 again????
It's a duck wrapped in tape..... duck tape! I think I will change it...
what in the world is ne4/7?
heres #3 again!
ne 4/7 - rhymes with leaf
Ahah. I didn't pay attention to the other "f". I was trying to do it by the numbers. Thanks
# 3 looks good cropped. you can really see daisy now!! and you too evanadine!!!
do we like me-n-daisy better than the love-ducks? hehe
OK - REFRESH!! Is this one easier to tell? If not, I'm switching to either Daffy or the bear in costume....
save loave duck for valentines day...you and daisy are cute!!!
I like you & Daisy, eva!!!!!!
mamabear -- ive seen that picture before -- i LOVE it! hehe
I liked the first one mama. I could tell what it ws.
course, bear in a duck costume would be very fitting for your screenname. ;)
"Daffy" is pretty fitting for me too!!!! LOL choices, choices, choices.......
heh, ill probably have something else for valentines, but i guess ill stick with me-n-daisy. ;)
eva...did you zoom that picture in after the first run? This one seems much easier to see and is ggrreat!
kristin -- yeah, i re-cropped it from the original. :)
mama - did you google image bear in a duck's costume, there's on called YELLOW DUCK BEAR BUDDY
LOL - that's the one I just put in - please REFRESH!
So what's the vote???? duck tape or bear duck or do I go with Daffy?
Mama, that one is the easiest to see and works with your wonderful namesake...a keeper in my book!
that little bear duckie is a cutie!!!
bear duck....
i personally like the duct-tape-duck best, but i like the bear in costume too...heh
where's the mistress of the dark this evening? i wonder if she will be duckula??? i was going to do that, but i didn;t want her getting me for doing an impersonation!!
duckula: http://www.evilmecca.com/ducku la.jpg
OK bear duck it is. Thank you for exercising your democratic rite to vote!
brb all
I'm stuck on what is probably a fish-worthy word. The first na 4/4. I have the alternate name for grandma.
kristinc - same letters as the grandma word (double vowel)
thanks, should have know that...my favorite part about Indian food!
Anymore clues needed before I stumble off to bed?
i'm zoning in the ex mode....and am off to bed as well!!!
good nite ren!!!! sleep well - see ya tomorrow maybe!
Just as I get off the phone, everyone is leaving?
Not gone yet, GW!!! How's the wolf cub doing?
I'm still here babbling to myself<g>
Momma just wanted to hear my voice -- she should be getting home tomorrow unless somtething interferes and she is lonely and impatient :)
me too! 35 to go
I remember that GW I had a C-sect with my second child.
Sebastian is doing just fine -- healthy lungs and good appetite -- I had to go get the car seat today via a county assistance program -- now I have to install the darn thing tomorrow... in the rain... while wrangling Kristianna! ... sounds like fun, huh? ;D
20 years from now you'll look back on it .... it will all be fun THEN!
And I still have room reorganizaion to do while washing his coming home outfit, so I am here for only a short bit more before I have to go :(
OHHHh great! I'd offer to help but I don't think I can make it in time.
GW...so have you been a "single" dad the past couple days?
hi all, been lurking for about 30 minutes.
hi doxy!!!! Getting ready to stare at the inside of my eyelids pretty soon.
Yes, I have kristi.... and while spending the day with Kristianna is a blast --- it is very hard to get anything done
that sounds good to me. been at work all day.
*yawn* am i asleep yet??
pretty close, eva!!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz OK, all, that's it for me... good nite, sleep tight and dream deep. *hugs to all* *special hug for the new dad* Hope all goes well tomorrow, GW, and you can enjoy everyone being home. Enjoy tonite's rest - it's your last one without 2 am feedings!!!! LOL
GW-she is probably liking all the one on one attention from dad...good for you two!
night mamabear.
good night mama.
Thanks Mama -- (*HUG*) -- most likely won't see me tomorrow -- but really knows for sure --Sleep Well and Dream Deep!
sleep well mama!
gnite everyone...i gotta get up for work in like 6 1/2 hours...heh
goodnight to you eva! Sleep tite!
night eva
Mamabear that's the best icon I've ever seen
kristi -- I know she does --- but her desire to be doing whatever I am doing can be both distracting and frustrating at times :) But I am loving it -- these memories will get me through her rebellious "I hate you!" teenage years ;)
Good perspective GW...she sounds very sharp and will probably keep you all on your toes for years to come!
kristi -- she didn't reveal that she could climb over the gate to my bedroom until the day I chose to go in to wake up her mother without her and she REALLY wanted to participate :D So yeah, she is sharp as a tack and snealy to boot ;)
ow 5/18? anyone?
add n to your ow4
Woulfie: Just logging on, is Sebastian OK, and Kristen? Just wondering.
Thanks. I'm not done but I'm headed to bed. managed not to cough last night - hope I don't again tonight. Quack!
GW..all traits that will likely serve her well in adulthood :)
sleep well musicmom
All is Aok, JoJo -- I am just destressing before having to do all my last minute prep for the homecoming --- Kirsten is just lonely and impatient to get home, and Sebastian is a wonderfully perfest 4 day old :)-
goodnight mm!
Rest Well, musicmom (*hug*)
Woulfie: Glad to here everything is OK on the home front. Be patient with your little girl, she probably just misses her mommy.
na6/18?
na + what you camp in except change the e to first vowel
TY
YW
sa 5/10...I think it is getting late!
sa5 - similar to sa*** claus, change last letter to different vowel
thanks Doxy, I kept trying either the devil or Mr. Clause and they just weren't working
yw. I agree, it is getting late.
ha5/18?
ha + trout minus last letter
ha+ salmon, trout etc without the last letter (I stole that clue from someone else!)
Thanks again --- only have 15 mins left before I have to go
fo4?

thanks GW
YW en7?
haven't got that one yet, sorry
hello folks... en 7 - same ending as disney movie fan*****
ty leslieann
Thanks Leslie how about the 2nd ch7/36, the bo7, and both an7's? I have to go prep for my son's homecoming and want to at least close out the 7's ;D
evening all - woulf if you have the bo 6 add an s
not a problem, i'm almost done (will have the ch in a minute): b 7 - sea vessel + a type of "high up" train (and plural)
I don't :)
an 7 - an + first vowel + an annoying person
an are harder - first an -last letter + pe 4/5
other an 7 - an + first vowel + your "sense" with your tongue - second T
secon use same first 3 letters + tase
thanks for the clues. :)
Sort of a marina but for transients
2nd ch 7/36 was my last word: comedienne margaret *** + first three letters of a snake ***conda, (that's a 6 - add second vowel for... plural?)
Thanks - Got the 6 but it's not a plural
Thank you -- now I have to go move some furniture around -- and sort through some clothes-- and a few dozen other tasks to prepare for homecoming -- fwill most likely only get 2 of them done before crashing -- Talk to people soon --- Bye for now (*HUGS for all*) (*+1 for mom*)
Some great clues LeslieAnn. I'm still missing the n & w's ?
have a good night GW. Don't work too hard. Have fun with that little one.
I'm not staying too much longer either. Hugs to you and yours too!
Goodnight GW-take care!
add second vowel and you get the 7!
sorry, hoot, i meant add the second vowel to the 6 for the 7
just figured out the wh7, now just the no & wa?
s'ok - worked it out. Falling asleep though. You give good clues Leslieann
wa + duct **** (and plural)
thanks hoot!
Love a straight-forward clue! Thanks again
no 7- to make a note of... no + short form of ink art on your body + second vowel (and plural)
no 7 is plural of no 6
no7--plural of no 6, to write something down, especially used in music, which is of course composed of no***
What on earth is the hs????
that's it for me, i'm all 7-clued out! good night folks.
that's all the 7's done, thanks LeslieAnn, your the best!!
you're welcome! good luck with the rest.
Night Leslieann and thanks again
Did everyone leave???
Hoot...I'm about to sign off but is there something I can help you with?
hoot-there is no hs, do you mean hw?
Oh yea - I knew I was tired but thats rediculous!
h + a long necked animal that starts with an s, minus the s
g'nite team!
THANK YOU Kristin! Now I can sleep! Only have about 150 but I can't see straight much less type. Thans again and good night
