My gift for evadine would be a trip to beautiful BC
Hello again

253 words
hoot - you would be surprised at how many words some grids have had that looked worse than this one!
It's a nice size :)
oh for cryin out loud I don't have time for this!
Really needs a t or 2
g7/44 g8/60
253 words are about 100 too many for me -- we're going to Kamploops tomorrow at noon -- not enough time to finsih. Good luck everyone, see you on Friday. :)
Hello Griffs
m 7/40
hey Blaze and all
So long c-nan (*hug*) Enjoy!!
m 8/45
m 8/55
I don't believe it! 253! If I can't make 100 right now I won't waste my time. Especially since the BF is off for the next 4 days. Better things to do!
C9/60 - 8/45
R9/60 - 8/45 too And R7/32 - 8/45
We will, GW -- going to a concert (opera) -- a friend's son is being featured. He is based in England and is only doing 2 concerts in Canada -- in Kamloops (his home town) and in Vancouver.
Oh, can't use the word for pair that we usually pick :)
Hello, everyone!!
That is very cool to hear, c-nan!
okeydoke, I'm out - with this back, I have to save all my sitting time for work. Stomp the grid, kids!
what opera, nan?
Hi smithchick!
Hi/Bye Griffs! (*HUG*)
good nite g h ope you feel better soon
Griffs! *hug*
The ample bosom is back.
They just allowed a sneeze!
Bless you! My favorite constellation is in here, but it isn't valid :(
I find this one hared than the last
berry there are lots of good words... changing grids is hard at first and sometimes later too... just hang in there.
Yeah, and still no 'insomnia'.
i meant to say harder, new at this typing thing
Ok. I give up on 66. Have to leave. Bye everyone. Hugs and have fun.
Bye, zubie. Onesie is too a word. Any mother can tell you.
Bye zubie (*hug*)
Berry, don't worry, every word you find is a good one. Don't let a grid fool you... the words are in there and they will have to come out sometime ;)
Bye zubie :D
Fathers too, smithchick! ;D
Not into ethnic though
The worst kind of man is in here too.
Sorry, GreyWoulf. Not used to daddy's who are actually dressing a child and taking care of it. My hubby is old school. When he did change the baby, it was usually dressed with backwards or inside-out clothes. That is no exaggeration.
no prob, smithchick --- so hoot was my dad that bad?
My love is more like Woulf. He did everything with our kids from day one, learning along with me, and he still does. Bless him (and you, Woulf!).
I'm otta here H will wake early so I better get some sleep, might come to ridge tommorow will call in morning
berry someone should be home... I will be gone for the day but T will be here I am sure...
Bye, berry.
sprite - *blush* Berry -- great to meet you! - (*hug*)
See you, Berry!
do i have to save my game or will it do just to it
Well Woulf, there aren't that many good men that we can do without blessing them :)
Babble will remember you, Berry.
It will be waiting for you when you return, Berry -- no special steps to remember :)
Won't go away Berry. Be waiting for you. Night
It will be the same if you come back before 10 pm tomorrow
nite all, can't stop yawning. see you tomorrow...
Nite, chic -- sleep well (*hug*)
thanks for the warm welcome till tommorow good night
Night chic :)
Good night, chic.
thanx, grey. I didn't sleep well last night so tonight should be good. (((hugs)))
must be off early and long day tomorrow at a workshop.... see you tomorrow nite....
Goodnight, blaze.
Bye Blaze! C9/66 - 8/50. I have to go for a little while, get my kids started and fed. Back soon! For those gone when I get back: sleep well and sweet dreams :)
Good night, Blaze -- Sleep well, Dream deep (*hug*)
Hello everyone! Good, great or gruesome grid?
Big but fun, mrp!
Hi, mr.president. Looks yucky me to me.
yesterdays was big and fun... today looks like too many oo's and I don't see more than 5 words!! LOL
did anyone mention c7/44 & c8/60 yet?
Oh my gosh, there are a lot of big words today - no wonder it seems so much harder!
Just got that too, GreyWoulf!
any one got the stats yet njoy....
n7/32
sprite mentioned c9/66 njoy....
not there yet - i"m getting 6's but no sevens and only 68 words so far!
Which c????
OOOOkkkkkk - just got a 7/8 combo
Back. I can make stats, but no 2nd letter stats. Give me a sec.
time for a late night feeding :)
If I ever meet anyone named Feona - I may kill them!
m 7/32
Bye, GreyWoulf. Late-night feedings are the best time for bonding, in my opinion!:)
Today's babble stats: 9 x 3 8 x 12 7 x 20 6 x 46 5 x 75 4 x 97 -- 253 words -- A -- 32 B -- 21 C -- 48 E -- 7 F -- 2 G -- 10 H -- 12 i -- 13 M -- 33 N -- 28 O -- 10 R -- 14 S -- 23
At least now we know where all the esses went!
got m7 and m8...... njoy....
Biggies I have found so far: A8/50 C8/45 x 2 C9/60 C8/50 C9/66 M7/40-M8/5 5 M7/32-8/45 R7/32 R8/45 x 2 R9/60
None of that is doing me any good. I'll wait for stats. Night all.
Plus S7/32 - 8/45
Goodnight, hootowl.
Sorry then, I thought it might help.
G7/44, G8/60
That g7 and g8 were rather appropriate description of me just then.
Yay, finally got a 9!!!
In case anyone is interested: the stupidhead H4/5 is back and there is a H8/65 - 7/48 pair.
M7/40 * 2 Njoy....
h7/48 -h8/65
Well, I've got 99 words left to find, and three kids to get up and take to school in approximately 5 1/2 hours. I'd better be heading in the direction of my bed. 'Night, all!
Bye smithchick.
Boy, sure got quiet :) *crickets chirping*
morning babblers :)
Hi Chessy -- seems like I am the only one active right now
maybe everyone is heads down and searching. how is your new boy?
doing well -- I just had to change him completely --- he spit up some of his last meal while in the bassinet -- I am waiting for him to quiet down to turn in myself :)
love the family photos. It always seems amazing how much uproar one tiny creature can produce :)
I am glad for the uproar -- it confirms my faith in existence -- when the glory of birth loses its wonder, the race is doomed in my mind
it is a miracle every time :)
Good morning, all... how goes the battle??
indeed! though another minor miracle to me is that the C has 48 words that it starts! :D
morning Jera. A bit like trying to plait sand :)
LOL GW
Not too bad, Jera -- though I have to turn in now, before I had to stop to feed Seb I hit my hundred, but now that the momentum is lost, I am kinda glad I need to go sleep
Just got up to speed with you & now you have to go... good night, GW!
Yet we press on, right, Chessy! I am just distracting myself waiting for painkillers to kick in... good way to get a head start!
Sorry about that Jera :) But I go back to work today/later and his night pattern is all screwy right now --- he sleeps long until the first feeding -- then it seems like he is up every hour or so --- definitely pretty draining
So good night, ladies, good night (*Hugs*)
Nite GW, hope you get some rest :)
No problem... I remember those days still!
Where is everybody?
Morning, I was wondering the same thing too, only just got here myself.
Morning Fmitch, Can't believe how quiet it is today.
Never seen the log so quiet for so long.
How are you getting on with the grid today?
i had a look at 8 this morning and see jera's last comment, couldn't believe when i logged on again 2 hours later that it was still the last comment!!! How are you?
I have 56 words so far. You? Don't think this is gonna be an easy one.
There are some really doozies today, I'm down to 106 left to find and going cross eyed - it's not as easy as yesterdays.
i didn't finish yesterdays i was too tired. I'm determined to finish today and hopefully without the help of brandyjacks list!!!
Hi Guys
I wish you good luck, am going to take a break now. TTFN
hi adsman
see you later x
Hi Bubbles do you know how many words there are today
109 completed...... Njoy....
Thanks 9tanks
oops sorry adsman. there are 253 today, I have completed 109 Njoy....
Adsman - there are 253 words today
253 today. 97 4 letter words 75 5 letter words 46 6 letter words 20 7 letter words 12 8 letter words 3 9 letter words
Cheers guys.... : )
I think this puzzle is a lot harder than the one yesterday. If you can finish without BJ's list you really deserve a gold star. There are lots of words in this one I have never heard of!
today's --- 1st Letter Count --- A - 32 B - 21 C - 48 E - 7 F - 2 G - 10 H - 12 I - 13 M - 33 N - 28 O - 10 R - 14 S - 23 Njoy....
do do do do do do sorry just singing while i Babble ; )
does anyone yet have a clue for ai6/21 or am7/32? Have been searching with no luck :/
ai6 - Flying male. Njoy....
thanx 9tanks, was coming at it from the wrong way!
ai7 --- difficult for clues, it is somthing italian ... ends in a rhyme of a big one tusk animal. Njoy...
oops sorry that should be am7 --- difficult for clues, it is somthing italian ... ends in a rhyme of a big one tusk animal. Njoy...
Can anyone help with one of the co 5/18 at the end. I have the one relating to a musical group
These words are a bit silly today
double up the vowel in the co4/8, arb.
9tanks, that's great, got it straightaway - word I've never heard of, thanks :)
Thank you TrishTrash
Any help on the bo 5/18 and the bo 6/30?
sorry, arb, just started, don't have those yet... and they aren't jumping out at me
ARB, the def is slang words for people of German descent ...
got em... bo5 = bo + first three letters of a dairy food (and plural)
co 5/18 take the last vowel and put it up front
Can anyone give me a clue for the co 6/27? Thanks.
122 completed...... See you all around gotta go home, will continue from home in around 2/3 hour. till then.. Njoy....
Dalmation - A small log house
Sorry- Thought you asked for ca :)
SummerBreeze I have a ca 6/27 with that definition. s the co 6/27 the same definition?
No...that was an "oops"...made a mistake :(
dont say sorry summer you helped me ; )
That's good :)
adsman... co6/27 = co + bi4/6
trishtrash - thanks! I needed that one and yet I had the one above me. Sure makes me feel stupid sometimes!
? Trish the bi4/6 i have aint working I have where you place your rubbish..in GB
yw, dal adsman... think an inclination to prefer one thing over another for the bi4/6
Got em both Trish your a ledgend.... ; )
lol, adsman, yw... i(n truth, this grid is kicking my ass square). Oh, and as dal mentioned, take the last letter off that co6, too, because it's actually a plural, rather than co + the b word)
wow... that makes you a double ledgend... & you Dal...
Don't you wonder where some of these words originated? It sure is a gretway to add words to the vocabulary.
Opps, my typing is as bad as my babbling : (
some of them fascinate me, dal :) and today's grid is certainly full of oddities!
Wait til you get to the ro's!!
argh, too many vowels!
I can have trouble just with the difference between our spelling in the States and your spelling across the ocean!
Hi F Mitch
*snorts* dal, I just have trouble with spelling ;) fmitch, that sounds like a dire warning!
Hi Adman and all, am back for another foray into the seemingly endless grid!
fmitch... those ro's were incredible!! Hi everyone!
I find it helps if you sing a little song while babbling its goes do do do do do (having rather a mad moment)
LOL MrP Adman, time for your medication I think!
(Pops a pill) sorry F mitch...
wouldn't mind Adsman but you were definately singing out of tune :)
Lol your not the 1st person to say that FMitch... ; )
ok, ... the o's are never to be used in casual conversation... or you are a dork!!
... and the sn's ... real babble words
Anyone else having problems with the game locking up today?
I was knocked off and just got back on.
went off line!
yes FMitch-have had to keep reloading over and over and then got lockedout completely for a while.
FMitch - yup - happened yesterday to. Got so fed up with it I never even got close to finishing. I just refreshed the page to get rid of a lock-up and could not get back on for over half hour. Something somewhere has gone horribly wrong........
2nd time today it's happened, glad it's not just me. Am going to keep my head down and get this finished incase it falls over again. Mind you still got 80+ left to go.
I've just printed the grid in case it happens again :/
I've been experiencing these kinds of problems for the past month or so.
Could I pretty, pretty please have some clues for the 9's? Haven't found any of them so far.
P.S. need more help than the first letters-have those already and nada!
hi all!
I only have 1x9 at the mo and it's one of the ro's- work your way through them and you find a 9 , 2x8 2x7 2x6 and a 5.
Hi folks. 102 words found here so far but with great difficulty getting them in, as the site keeps locking up. Bit miffed that I can't have 'himbo' (male equivalent of a 'bimbo'). And why isn't 'gorm' a word? If you can be gormless then surely there must be some 'gorm' in the first place. :-)
hi gem!
Yes Jacula-had a gorm snit a while ago myself.
miya is here!
Hi everyone!
The ca 8 and 9 build from the ca 5/12
ca9 - to bestow sainthood co9 - a state of bondedness (plural) ro9 - to convert to ro5/12 catholicism
The ro 8 and 9 build from the ro 5/12
hi folks who just spoke up, and bye... off for some lunch, happy babbling :)
C Ya Trish
Morning, Afternoon, whatever....co 9 a state of bondedness??? I'm not getting it. Help plz.
c ya trish
Got it....tya
Gramma - Remember the big 'ad' word from yesterday to do with glue? The co8/50 & 9/66 sound a bit like it.
Jacula, I got it....tya
Thank you trish & dalmatian! Got your wonderfully juicy clues and then got bounced off the site again for a while. The British/American spelling thing got int he way of seeing those (that's my excuse and I'm sticking by it!). Pretty feeble. But I still havent got the co one.
Sorry, Gramma. Site froze up on me again. Never mind, the clue might help someone else.
Just dropped Dr_G an email re the unstability.
Jacula, never apologize for helping...:)
jacula-i do remember the a word from yesterday so I have a sense of the ending for this one, but still can't get it.
Good girl, FMitch. I appreciate a woman of action!
YES!! Got it. What a nice word.
FMitch-for future reference, how do you get in touch with Dr God? I used to have an email address but have lost it.
Well done, Eva! FMitch - Thanks. I've saved my words to notepad in case he takes the site down for a while. Think I'll take advantage of the sunshine here and pop down to the greengrocer's to get some nice, fresh vegs for tonight.
LOL gramma. Eva - click on the comments/questions box on the right of the screen.
Thanks. Only if the problem is that I can't access the site, then I can't click the box(;:
AB???? Clues anyone?
doh ... good point eva!
Does anyone have a clue for the hi8? Please
jacula and trishtrash, thanks for the great clues for the ginormous words!
Eva - Dr_God's e-mail is <feedback@playbabble.com>
hi8 outside grill, and plural
hi8/9 Def A portable charcoal-burning brazier with a grill, used chiefly for cooking Sounds like a Japanses brand name for eletrical goods (I think) but change the 3rd letter
Thanks Jac!
Thanks, FMitch. I'd never have got those hi's in a million years without your clue.
BBL
Hi all.I`m trying to finish the a`s but can`t find the last am7.Please can someone rescue me.
Thank you so much. FMitch I kept looking at the wrong starting H.
macadam-haven't looked at BJ's list , so don't know if this is the last one, but there is an am7/32 which is 4 letter word for love + big horned animal minus an "h"
mac am7 - sounds like the song they did for children in need I think "Do you know the way to Am ? but with slightly dif sp.
am7 . . . looks like the word for love plus a large wild animal with a large tusk
Thanks .An hour of looking and all I needed to do was ask.Cheers everyone.
yr welcome

Duty calls. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish late this afternoon. Good luck and happy hunting, all. Happy b-day evan. Enjoy your day and your cake!!
Atalante, it's a BEAST!!

Oh no Evan that's not on....
Thank you fmitch & Haz, hard target (again) Adsman - no I haven't heard from A & J will phone them later
I think today we should all find viable excuses for not finishing. Mine is that I can't devote enough time away from writing my potential prize-winning first novel.
mine is I cant'd be arsed.....lol
The fact that I'm not writing a novel is neither here nor there.
Ooohh good idea Haz. My excuse is going to be that I have to.... er, um I must, oh dang Im going to the pub to celebrate Evans birthday - anyone else want to come?
I have to go and count my collection of scabs in the matchbox beside the bed....

Morning all -- happy birthday, evanadine! Your present is Cheese-and-Rice, one of your favorites! (I think anyway, I remember you mentioning it once in the log.) Anyway, HB!
hehe...good recall ch!
(blush) Okay, I cannot tell a lie... truth is, I browsed one of the archive logs specifically looking for something special for you birthday. Hope it's a great one!
wow, you even did homework -- im impressed!
Is the puzzle just long today, or is it hard too? I can't decide if I want to tackle it. Yesterday's almost did me in.
hi, just passing by to say - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! : D I left you a little message in my handbag, EvaN! And my present is Gina 'Stella' Boots (green - your favourite colour!) : D (((xxx)))
i think theyre all tough...heh... but from the sounds of others, i think it really may be a toughie
ooh, very flashy -- just the way i like em! i think the best present i got today was figuring out how to do a forced refresh here at work so i can actually see all of these lovely gifts!! hehe
evanadine - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear eva.... Happy Birthday to you!!!!!! ...@@@@@.@@@@@@@@ ___||||||_|||||||_||||____ |>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>| | ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^| |> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>| |__ _______________________|
eva - mine is your morning cereal with a fresh *unopened* carton of milk!!!
Eastern Blue what a stunning cake!
haha...thanks EB -- on both counts!
Hi Babs, macadam...Adsman... How's the shoulder, hun??
the funny thing is that i brought into work today a box of cereal, a carton of milk, and a box of instant oatmeal so i can make my own breakfast + not hafta worry about whether people have opened the ones in the cafeteria...haha
oopss..Hi Jen & Haz...
...and ch1212... my - I wasn't very careful reading through the log to see who was here!!! Hello!
...and mummy & spellit... oh, darn!! Hello EVERYONE!! (I stayed up too late to finish last night's puzzle...it was a long one...not sure if I'm going to tackle todays...)
eva - have you had a good birthday so far??
HI EB, hi all : ) shoulder's really hurting, EB :'( thanks for asking. :) xxx
EB Hello - I was out of the room for a while there. This is a horrible grid!
*passes a warm heating pad & 'good drugs' to Babs* Poor dear!! *gentle hug*
EB -- actually woke up with a sore throat :/ but ive had lots of happy bday wishes, and we arent very busy in the office today (i made sure of that by making everyone do extra work yesterday!! haha) so i think itll be a good day. :)
Haz - that isn't a vote of confidence to start it!! Maybe I'll just hang out & chat (altho' I have mounds of work I 'should' be doing!!)
I've started it but know that I won't finish it - my prize-winning (potential) will need my urgent attention today. That's to be my excuse for non-completion of the grid.
*passes over a hot toddy for eva's sore throat* less work is a good thing... and if you get a real cake - even better!!
thanks, EB : ) very kind of you! *gratefully accepts everything and does as she's told*
Novel - prize-wnnning novel.
*passes another hot toddy to EvaN* : )
Haz - are you really writing a novel - I'm impressed!! I don't think I could do that...
No - I'm not writing a novel - it's just that I was trying to think of inventive reasons for not being able to finish the grid.
Happy Birthday Evandine! and hello to all.
Hello Angelsong!
Haz - clever girl!! hmmm...my excuse...ummmm... *think!th ink!think!* I'm in training for the Olympics in...bobsledding - yah, that's it!! And I'm travelling to Italy tonight for the ceremonies tomorrow....
Hi Angelsong...
Lovely! Be sure to pack your winter woollies.
Haz - plus, I have to pack!! *puts winter woolies into suitcase* ooo!! this is fun!!
thanks angelsong!
Birthday greetings evanadine! May your sore throat be the worst you endure before your special day arrives again! Have a special day.
help with a7? My birthday is next week (the 14th).
It's been lovely, but I must go back to work...(I mean, packing & bobsledding)... Have a fantastic birthday eva!! Bye all...
Hi everyone. Just dropping by. Puzzle too long for me. EB don,t bother packing the Nutella. They produce it in Torino, along with TicTacs.
See you after the olympics...
Oops! Sorry evanadine! What I meant was I hope nothing worse than a sore throat! Not the worst sore throat! Note to self: read carefully before posting! Glorious year ahead!
Haz - I'll read your Internationally acclaimed novel on the plane ride home... : )
hehe, thanks mom!
am 7/32 - am followed by 2 letters for alternative, then last three letters of rh5 - the horned animal.
Great - spread the word!
thanks, haz. How about a clue for the AB7?
Your guess is as good as mine on that one! Sorry, Angelsong, I haven't got it yet. (Possibly never will at the rate I'm going.)
ab7 has no def. try a + b4/6, with es as plural ending ...
ab 7 - here is the definition - but you have to make it plural....Nonliving: The abiotic factors of the environment include light, temperature, and atmospheric gases.
AB7: AB +third and fourth vowels+a short form of a female sibling.
Thanks for the ab. Taking the dog for a walk. Hopefully the grid will have rearranged itself by the time I get back. Otherwise the novel-writing will have to start in earnest...
I am so stuck on the bo5&6 - can anyone help?
Me too FM.
bo words. def is 'disparaging term for Germans'
b5 and 6 - how to insult a German
Cheers everyone.
c9?
still can't see them - can someone walk me through or at least hit me with a fish.
C9 The making of a saint (plural0
FMitch, rhymes with cosh ...
FMitch..The bo rhyme with nosh
Hits self with fish - thanks - got there in the end.
no-one deserves a fish in this puzzle, FMitch!
still have yet to locate any 8s or 9s... do have 2 7s though...hehe
LOL Atalante, thank you!
I have a CO8...can't find the CO9. The 8 doesn't seem to pluralize.
put an 's' on it
There are 2 co8's I don't have the one you have got but the other one is the combo and it means roughly "to stick together"
the co8 I have already has an s on the end!
the CO8 I have is already a plural.
FMitch used a word!!! bad bad bad bad!!!!!!!!
oops... that should have been for the ca8, not co8.. sorry
oooo sorry, am getting so boggled, sorry!!! only 31 words left and they are all c's.
there are 2 co 8 one is to hold together as a unit the other to mix 2 or more together to make one thing
ca 8,ca8, and ca9 all begin with the very big gun.
31 left? lucky you! *sigh* 80 here ...

Learning tons of new words today!
Oh Adsman, I would love to but I am just plum booked solid with breaking knee caps for Evanadine. Don't be selfish. It's her birthday.

Hi Jacula
Lol Smaller (sniff sniff cough cough) have some choclate anyway...
Johnny Depp, that would be the best b-day present ever!!! Jac, I've been meaning to catch you. your baileys coffee cheescake recipe, what are gingersnap biscuits?

oooo thanks! for that, I'll try to pencil you in for next Wednesday. Just hang on to that flu!
HI Jac : ) Schro' not exactlu word-friendly is it? : /
Bunny - Hi. Just ginger biscuits. Do you not have them in US? Ginger cookies maybe?
No offence Smaller but I'll pass on holding on to the flu
jtdp - Thanks. I'll try that. I did try the desert but it wouldn't have that.
go plus ba4/6 -
go 5/20 - like the flying elephant or Cajun food
Hi Anj. I like your spronger! Oops! I mean 'space hopper'. Our family name for it is a 'spronger' due to The Perishers cartoon from the Daily Express many years ago. Baby Grumpling or Marlon (can't remember which) used to bounce round on one and it always had 'SPRONG!SPRONG! SPRONG!' written by it. :-)
Bunny I want to make that Bailey cheescake also...just need to be home in order to do it....I suppose work is saving my back side.. lol
lol Jac : ) more things should be named the way they sound : )
It looked so good! I might cheat and use grahm crust, mail ya a piece!
can anyone help with the bi/7
Bunny - Graham crackers are the US equivalent to our 'digestive biscuits', I think? The ginger in the ginger biscuits goes really well with the coffee though.
bi 7 - add donkeys
Gingersnaps will work I think with a light coating of egg white after I crush em up. The twins can help with the crushing.
Sounds good Bunny, if you mail me a piece that will save me from making it and eating the whole thing...
I'll have to put a recipe for making ginger biscuits in BabAnon and then, if you can bear to, you can crush them to make the cheesecake base.:-)
Thanks for the 'go' clues. Got 3 of 'em now.
ty haz never heard of that
It's the plural of bi4/6 meaning prejudice
Right thats it i'm going home to bed..... I'm sure I will speak to most of you 2morrow ttfn
Afternoon/Evening all....
how is Nimb not a word? Nimb has a secret, and words that aren't words do not have secrets!
Bye admsan - hello caitlyn.
Bye Adsm! Hi Cait! What's the icon?
Hi all. Am stuck w/the last two co 5/18. Actually I have one, but can't find the other. I have the small jazz band. Need the other. Any help out there?

...wonderful spaaam, luvverly spam : )
Schro...spam and pickle sandwiches mmmmmmmmmm
Oh, your missing out Schro! Fried with eggs, diced in Mac and cheese, outta the can with a spoon, good stuff!
i think I'd actually eat chocolate coated spam, though
bunny you are a star ty very much
smaller, deep fried chocolate coated spam : )
Hmmm, chocolate coated spam... YW! glad I helped :)
pork and ham covered in chocolate? something tells me that that is a bad idea...
Hubby eats fried Spam sandwiches with mayo....yucky
well, if you deepfry it, then, that's a different story.
anj and boreetos, with enough chocolate, anything is possible
Maybe you could crush up Oreos and coat Spam balls with it, then fry.
I do love some chocloate, but I have my limits.
smaller, the word 'enough' does not appear in the chocolate lexicon, neither does no, no thanks, sugar-free, diet or fruit & nut : )
I've got 38 words left to find but it's time I listened to my conscience, which is saying, 'Get thee to the kitchen and make Shepherd's Pie!' *Note to self: See someone about the voices in my head.* TTFN, folks. x
:) Anj, well said.
Bye Jacula ..
Bye Jacula You speak the truth Anj...
Boreetos, Make Chocolate, Not War party?
oh its on!
LOL anj!

Finally ... finished .. done and dusted ...... and made it to the end of the grid. 253 words.
I will come but i do like white chocolate please
yay FMitch - have a chocolate : )
Congrats FMitch
Bye boreetos Congrats FMitch
LOL I think I'll pass on that Anj - bt overwhelmed with choc and cake this afternoon.
sorry, phone
today the c's were the hardest and the co's I dont ever want to see again.
What gets me is words I would never think to be in there, I don't try (hyphenated, abbreviations, even some properss), but the ones I keep typing over and over that I know are words aren't in there! I actually know most of the words in the grid today... buncha biggies!
When i saw the grid first i thought i wouldnt even tackle it today, but its not too bad.Sometimes the longest words are easier than the short ones.
OK, done! Anyone need a few clues before I go back to filing taxes for my entire side of the family?
Way to go Bunny!!!
nummy!! mo5/16!!!!! i love babble
Well done bunny!! I have finished as well .Im going to cook supper for hubby (pork chops) catch you all tomorrow,Happy babbling!! LOL X
Bye Cait, take care to the hubby!
Bye caitlyn, Congrats
Hi everyone, any clues for ac7/32 or ac8/50 ?
ac 8/50 is what you feel in your joints when you have arthritis
ac 8/50 - the state of ac 5/14, think of the Loche **** Monster ac 7/32 ac + vowel + smell with it
ac7/32 - 'I knows' what you are looking for.
Allrighty, see ya'll tomorrow! IRS, here I come!! Take care!

Anyone here? I've not been able to get into babble zone until now. Has eva nadine been by? I got her a pony.
hello all! im back!! :D
she was here earlier . . . got flowers, cake, champagne, etc.!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVA NADINE!!!!!!!!!!!!

evaN ...happy birthday!!!! (((evaN))))
it's a killer, temple
happy birthday evan!!!
Well, temple, several people have and are finished. So it can't be that bad, right? I just got here, although a got a few words late last night while half asleep. Of course now I'm committed. Or should be committed?
well having just escaped from school, and relishing my free time for now,i may very well pass...but i missed you guys! i was locked out at work and dr. god just set me up again!
I'm back! : ) evaN, did you see my 'happy birthday' message earlier?? : )
Hi lola! I missed the party and I think eva just popped in and back out again. Is the grid truly evil today?
Temple, were you unable to get into the site today?
*lola hands mab some pink champers* Hi mab! We'll just have to have another party then, won't we? ; ) It is truely evil : /
Hi temple! Hang around and chat then : )
Pink champagne! La di da! Remember those bizarre champagne fountains one would see at wedding receptions?
caboom should be allowed
mab - i've been locked out at work since last friday...i usually stay logged in but somehow got unlogged..forcing me to remember my password! : /
that i will : D
mab, of course. I build them all the time in the babble bar : )
That recently happened to me, but I stumbled upon my password after a few tries. Today I couldn't get to the site at all - and so many words to find! I hope the long ones all end in the loch ne**.
Did eva have a gorgeous birthday last night with bf?
jeez . . . "only" 50 to go . . . taking a break
mab, I think anyone (me included) who is hooked on Babble should be committed !
oooh poor une! *hands her some ghirardelli*
could I get a hint on the ab7?
thanks mab, TO and lola! kinda scrambling to fix the plans i had made for celebration tomorrow night...heh
I only have 165 to go, but we do have eleven hours left. Can probably squeeze most of them in.
LOL mab! evaN, i am milking mine into birthday month!
Oh, good Eva -- Friday night...and so on. Your pony is a thoroughbred, a filly.
ab7, a plus bi4/6 (someones life story?) and pluralise : )
i heard chocolate! Hi CadFan!
Oh I hope the fuss goes on for a long time, over your birthday, and that bf has been planning romance, etc. And yours too, Temple.
was supposed to drive out to the beach tomorrow night to see my friends band play (not that its at all beach weather!!) but i just found out they got rescheduled to play saturday instead of friday!! so now i hafta get in touch with my friends to see if they can make it -- and im pretty sure they cant. :(
Tx lola - have been trying variations on abomination for ages.
Oh. Go to the beach with your friends anyway?
Whew.. got it Lola, thanks Hi Smaller!
Oh, Quick, yes, I was committed the moment I entered the first word, but feeling anxious now.
yeah, my one friend is definitely still gonna go and i think another is too...but one of them cant cause she already has plans...
Back again : ) This hasn't got any easier has it? : /
You'll have a fabulous time no matter what, eva, you have so many people who are crazy about you and you are a person naturally inclined to happiness -- oh you are lucky.
I've been warned --- but didn't believe; this really does become an obsession!!!
chips, oh yes!!! like your name. love the food and the tv show.
oh dear. this isn't going to be a pretty grid is it.
Hey babe! (((xx))) : ) Aww mab, still feeling blue? Here, have this ((x)) : )
luv the food too, therefore i could never be smaller!
smaller, Poncherello or the blonde? ; )
Lola, oooooo why choose? i'll take both
Oh, you're wonderful lola. I'm okish. Why was that show about motorcycle cops called chips?
chips..LOL... and hello : )
Calif Hiway Patrol
California HIghway Patrol : )
mab...California Highway (i!) Patrol : )
smaller, how are we going to share then?? lol : D
Should have known....or at least figured it out. Anj is that one of the bouncy things that one sits on and, well, bounces? They should make adult size.
it's been nice - but i gotta run! see you all tomorrow!
Happy Day Evandine! Lola100: Is the level in your glass ico dropping?
Mab, they are adult size : ) I bought a retro version at xmas and they are still meaty beefy big & bouncy : )
mab, I think they do! : ) 'bye temple : )
Lola, "share"? i do not understand this word you use. i looks like english. i think i can sound it out phonetically. the meaning, though, eludes me.
Quick--commit me, pleeeez! I'm too far gone to save myself! My daughters got me hooked here--and I thought they liked me! EasternBlue--after I'm locked up will you send me a pretty cake (sans file since I could use the vacation) like you sent evanadine? Mo5 filling, please!
eek! Happy Birthday to EvaNadine : )
What a charming handbag, csmith. a real one.
cmith, you betcha! ; ) Anj! You have a spacehopper??
mmmmmmmmmm............cake.... ..........
smaller, don't make me use the mommy voice on you! How about we take it in turns? ; )
mab: *in a weak voice* - it's an open chocolate bar with NO pieces missing (yet!)
Lo, no I bought it for Nick & Kath : ) But now that you mention it.... } )
LOL! : D
Poor mom23. You start out filling in the odd crossword puzzle. Next thing you know you are mainlining babble. Ya got the monkey on your back...
Lola, LOL sigh, ok.
mab, that word 'crossword' is so familiar...I'm sure I used to do those in the days before babble?
That's much better smaller. Now we can play nicely together! ; )
oh, i see, csmith. It's okay, I lean heavily toward the doltish side. and proud of it. chocolate, mmmmmm....
Heh--"cross"word is so appropo. I've uttered so many more since I entered this maze called babble. Can't seem to find my way out--and don't really care!
very primitive, lola. you had to use a stick kind of thing to do it -- like, you made marks on this stuff called paper... I don't know, it was a long time ago.
mab, yes...I remember now. I used to be able to put those down, do other things and then return to them later. Very unlike babble.
just as well, mom23, you'd be jonesing to get back in before an hour went by; staggering around in the street, reaching weakly out to strangers gasping 'he4/7, he4/7, pl****, he4/7'
I have to leave now, will be back in a hour or two : )
All good small persons in Britain should be in bed by now. Bye lola.
Ok guys, I guess I'm just stupid but I can not seem to get ab7 - help....plz
laters Lo : ) There are loads of non-words in here today...countries, names, companies, books, places... : /
ab 7/ 36 (plural) absences of life OR a + life stories + squiggly letter
ab plus third and fouth vowels. Then distress call with different vowel in place of o.
Evening all
bolloxy gid! That can't really be a word. memory mints? mmmmm...
Hi Mr. Yoink.
Yoink, run away now, this one has teeth : /
Oh I know Anj, I've been on and off all day without chatting, got 106 to go
Good job we didn't say anything nasty about you...
Is Evanadine about? I got her a penguin. Everyone would like a penguin for their birthday
thx gang - I got it
you can't imagine how that scares me, mr. needs no lists... It's hopeless, I tell you, hopeless! Run Yoink! And don't look back!
no yoink, everyone wants a pony for their birthdays.
I don't want a pony, I want a penguin
Not if you're 90 and equine phobic..
ca6/24 between the 6/30 and 7/36
Well I guess if we don't see eva today we'll both be very happy with our 'gifts,' yes, Yoink? Who would fear a sweet little weanling like this one? Even if one was 90.
I can't find the sn5 and I'm sure it's easy but I just can't see it
ca 6/ 24 miltary truck OR rotating machinery part + charged atom
sn plus what is left after a fire
it's anhedonia. honestly.
Thank you Haz! Stupid sn. *mutter mutter*
oh Sn....never mind. (that's not a real word)
Mab - a new word for me - just googled it for the definition. It could apply to working at today's grid for sure.
'If You Liked "Sn5," You Will Fall in Love with....' Ah, yes, I seem to recall some Atlant Sn5s, lovely family....
hi kids
a little help on the bottom o's?
Hi boreetos. oh good, you brought something o eat. at least I've heard it's edible.
hi mab, yeah i'm not really sure if it's considered edible. But, the first two ingredients are Pork and Ham... I thought ham WAS pork... ?
oo 6/ 24 alternate spelling of an Inuit boat; sounds like kayak or 6/ 24 plural of or5/14 (African antelopes OR o + chest bone + pronouns)
*YAWN* sami tired!!
its scary to think what the distinction might be.
hi Evanadine! I got you a penguin
:) mab thanks csmith!
yay pengies!
hey cmith, i added an extra special letter into your name just for you!
Happy B-day Evan!! I said so earlier, but you weren't here, I got you Spam!
yoink, you know evanadine so well!!!! boreetos! you are a hoot today!!!
:)
Hi Smaller! I think that it's a great gift for anyone of any age, everyone loves penguins
i guess you were right, yoink.
Woohoo! Being right rocks
and penguins might even be in spam too.
penguins are more versatile than ponies. and more portable.
lol!! yeah there's no way to tell...
of course, penguins make rather poor transportation....
...! I've managed to find 40 Cs : ) *Pours himself glass of white chocolate liqueur and with a Dooley's chaser and side order of choccy truffles* Anyone else? Small steps today, small steps : )
There's an urban myth here about a kid who stole a penguin from a zoo in his school bag, everyone knows it, and the kid seems to have gone to everyone's school
i haven't done anything near that productive, Anj, good job, but I'd definatley like a truffle! :) mmmmm... truffles.....
yoink, it was you that stole the penguin, huh?! and for evanadine's birthday!!! that's so sweet.
but not the band "sweet" kind of sweet
*hands Boreetos a plate of truffles* chow down : )
oh, ANJ! you are just KILLING me today
I'm just a sweet kind of a guy. In a law-breaking kind of a sweet way
congrats, anj. that is an impressive number of c words indeed. you're not going listless today are you?
yes, yoink, say it with feathers.
yoink, are you babbling from jail?
*Boreetos enters the sweet, sweet level of extacy that can only be accompanied by the delicious sounds of what can only be described as mouth wateringly suculent chocolate divinity*
I'm on the lam right now, covering my tracks well by telling everyone what I have done
Mab i've got 84 to go with no lists... Don't hold your breath tho'... i'm struggling now : /
ooo, the inmate with a heart of gold, how sssexy!
et tu, boreetos! there goes all my training from the week. i'm having chocolate ice cream tonight!!! there's a new Ben and Jerry's flavor called "Chocolate Therapy"!!
you're damn right they do, Ben and Jerry's kicks ass.
*forms orderly queue with BIG silver spoon and own napkin* : D
the band which did mmm-bop is in there
very good, yoink. I always find the truth so disarming.
My husband and I have a theory that there is always a penguin on television, somewhere. If not a nature program, then a cartoon, or an old movie with dancing men in tuxedos. We think it's some sort of homage that the programmers secretly pay to the days of black & white tv.
Of course, that's just my opinion! lol
goofball, LOL, it's probably the one yoink stole and it's trying to get home
Romba not allowed? I thought that was a squaredance...
Mmmbop, doop a dop, a doom bob, doopdoopdoop doo... ...damn you.
anj, what's the spoon for? *she asks suspiciously*
yeah, seriously, I am really jonesing for some chocolate right now. :)
correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe fred astaire was a penguin. tallish, but penguin.
boreetos, i'm now having hot cocoa. not perfect but fills the void
Hey, my favorite oddly named McDonalds character is in here! You know what he is supposed to be? huh huh do ya?
mmmmf smsmsmmmms sssmmsrrphh?? *he said trying to wipe chocolate ice cream from his face*
:) mab. yeah. I think he was a penguin, a penguin with happy feet, and a golden voice. :)
Boreetos, some kind of big... blob?
i wouldn't say no to a mug of white chocolate liqueur...
any one else got a guess?
Anj, YOU, sir, are EVIL!!
yoink and boreetos, is that the purple thing?
well, I'll tell you, the large purple blob of which we speak is supposed to be a taste bud.
Well it's obvious now you say it
well he did sing "P-P-P-Pick me up" and "Top Hat, White Tie, Tails and Flippers" ...or am I off the map here? Sorry smaller : / Jey but look, I cleaned the tub : D
a huge, fairly disturbing taste bud.
hey, a guy once SUFFOCATED with his head in a tub of ice cream. well, i'm pretty sure... I'll keep the defibrillator handy.
you know what you could do with a giant purple tastebud? Cover it in chocloate and melt into that wonderful oblivion...
Yeah, that was his surfboarding in the arctic film. '..you better dance little woman, dance little man, dance as fast as you can..'
Anj, oh well, how noble!!! You owe me a chocolate therapy in 7 hours.
...you want cream with that?
does the enormous purple taste bud have a name that is a legitimate word, or can you tell us its name?
Anj, Ok. Whatever clears your conscience for you. Sprinkles, oreos too, if needed. Please note you've mentioned chocolate A LOT today. AND I only got a wrapper earlier. So add in FMitch's chocolate fountain too!!
Hey I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream. Right.....No more faerie dust for Anj. Watching the chatter and I see how is all worked up with a chocolate high today.
Mab, it's a gr7, also a facial expression
alright, once again, I gotta get back to work. I think from here on out, I'm just going to say BTW, for back to work, no, wait that already stands for by the way....hmmm... how about Bak2Wrk? no, I'd sound like an idiot... I'll figure all that out later. Be back in two hours and 3 minutes. :)
yeah no, the large purple character is gr8 and 9
LOL! Bye Boreetos!
yeah 7 and 8 sorry. oh, yeah I'm leaving, BYE!!!
Bye Boreetos, and it's gr7 and gr8 actually ;)
*passes smaller an 18" Toblerone" Sorry : / I can't help myself around chocolate...
that's a good name; imagine being a giant taste bud. a huge naked nerve ending. painful.
Yoink, picky picky for someone who is a felon.
MAB!!! ROFLMAO!!!!!! Anj, I understand COMPLETELY!!! I've been in trouble SEVERAL times on here for stealing chocolate!!! I'd feel bad.....if it weren't so fun. *breaks toblerone in half and shares with Anj*
Cheers smaller : )
awww, sweet. get it? sweet? toberlone, mmmm...
correction: tolberone, mmmmm....
...take III? ; )
tollbelroroney
Heh, the way my penguins is facing it looks like he is saying all this stuff. So if there's anything bad, blame the penguin
toblerone, mmmm... (love the product, now, love the product....annnnnd, cut!)
Anj, by "half", I'm REALLY using that term generously for me. American math. so your half is like a fifth. exchange rate and all
spoken like a true man on the run.
smaller!
I'm back! What did I miss?? : D
yoink, Hey! Keep your penguin away from my half!!!
difficult to summarize, lola, but i wouldn't turn my back on yoink, i think he might have killed a man...
That's, er, fine smaller : ) *Cancels order for 1kg net intercontinental shipment of white chocolate mice* I understand entirely...
Hi babe : ) ((xx))
mab, oh my! *lola keeps one eye firmly on yoink while trying to find damn nonsense words with the other*
Look, the penguin does what the penguin likes, he's a rebel
Hi babe ((xx)) Did ya miss me?? : )
Anj, is that the plural of mousse? if not, well....yah, i'd still eat it
Is it really my fault if someone jumped out in front of me while I was driving away from the zoo? And the brake is quite close to the accellerator pedal...
Hmm, are you the same penguin that stole the ship in Madagascar??
Hi again, 29 rotten words to go *sobs*
Of course petal ; ) lol smaller...now that's the real mousse loose about the house : )
s'ok yoink. your intentions were pure.
...and you have those adorable webbed feet! Must be quite difficult to drive with those : )
I only let the penguin drive once we were far enough from the zoo that I was sure we weren't being followed. He did a passable job for his first time
*lola giggles* He called me petal! : )
Hi schro : )
Hi Schro :)
lola100: he could have called you stem or root or cricket
if you'd stolen a pony, yoink, you could have simply lept over the pedestriam. not to beat a dead horse.
HI Lola and Yoink Mab I like ponies :)
hi schoeder.
cmith, I know! He is such a romantic *lola swoons a little* : )
shall I activate the defibrillator lola?
Yeah Mab, but horses crap all over the place, I hate that
mab: I like ponies also. I think there is something a little wierd about flightless birds that WALK 100 km in the freezing cold just to mate.
that's some libido. oh yeah, yoink? and your penguin just holds it?
No, I'm okay now mab. But thank you for your concern. cmith, they mate for life. I think it's romantic : )
Must go - vicious Golden Retriever finally showed up for remedial socialisation. Later
Ok, more to the point, penguins don't crap on pathways or roads near me.
CSmith, evidently you haven't been to Newcastle : /
Bye Cmith
be carfeful csmith. wear oven mitts or something.
LOL yoink!!! Penguin's are tidy poopers?
'remedial socialisation'?? Sounds like the nursery I send my toddler to.
Anj...LOL! : D
(exes newcastle off itinerary)
Smaller, penguins don't poop in anywhere near the same quantities I'm sure
pony poo is good for the environment. I believe one can get a nasty respiratory virus from penguin poo.
Lo, must confess to ROFPMLMAO in retrospect... : ' D
Anj, I'm not sure why but the 'flightless' had something to do with it too : D
Oooh! I just found all my last word! : )
well done, brava and hurrah, lola!!!!!
back! 66 to go and I'm giving in and looking at BJ's list!
'all'?? Er, don't know where that came from...lol! : D
Yoink, do they make their beds, take out the trash, etc. is he a useful animal?
...huzzah! 69 to go here : )
Hi atalante : )
...words!
smaller, you can't expect them to make their beds with those silly little flippers!
it wouldnt do to find just part of your last word.
Smaller, yes, all of that plus he also finds all my hard words while I'm away from the computer
Oops Anj! Slip of the tongue? ; )
mab, it happens more often than you'd expect actually, lol! : D
Congrats Lola Hi Atalante & Smaller Yoink uses a penguin instead of a monkey?
...if you want : )
Schro, yes it's true. So if I ever mention that I am typing words with my pecker, don't get the wrong idea
Hmm, meet me in the jacuzzi in 5! ; )
whats the theme today? penguins crossed with space hopper penguins?
LOL! LOL! LOL!
it's what we women all like, anj. really!
Hi Tink, I'm out for awhile!
I aim to please ; )
sorry tink, mean, I'm leaving. have a good night all!
'bye smaller : )
(polite cough) bye smaller. hey, that's some crazy penguin you got there yoink old buddy.
Bye Smaller :) LOL Yoink, always knew there was something about the way your words came out...
clues for bo5/18 & bo6/30, please?
later smaller : )
bo6/30, add a board game played with black and white pieces less the last letter. The 6 is the plural of the 5 : )
Got the bo's by babbling. Thinks it's an Italian game with balls.
Anj, are 'headstones' the same as 'the headstones'? Any songs in particular you'd care to rec? : )
Mary, sounds like the name of a popular tool manufacturer : )
The bo's are evidently also a disparaging term for Germans. Funny, I speak fluent German and live in the country and have never heard of it - the things you learn on Babble!
The bo5 is a disparaging term for a german : /
Yup : ) Settle, Blonde & Blue, Mystery to Me, Firing Pin, Little Lies, F*** you, Whatchagonnado, It's all over, heart of darkness, absolutely, 3 angles, tweeter and the monkey man...
Hi everyone! Just got back from the police Academy to see this grid. I will never finish, but what the hey, right?
holy non sequiter.
But amandacath, the Germans don't call themselves that! Anyway, I think it's circa WWI, so people have thought of nastier things to call Germans since.
Hi Deutsch : )
Anj, just found their awesome cover of the Wilburys 'tweeter and the monkey man'! : )
Hi Deutsch, it's a rough one, down to 5 with not much hope......*sigh*
...it's all good stuff : )
Hi deutsch! : ) Anj, thanks sweetie : ) xxx
Ok, well, here goes! *splash*
anj, did you say you cannot access a2z?
No, they wouldn't call themselves that, but living here often gives one cause to curse them - and they generally know all the words that other-language-speakers say about them!
Angle, no, I just rarely use it. I prefer to find my words commando : )
I think the bo word(s) are French.
Hi Haz Okay only 4 C words left :)
any help for the se 7 and 8? I have tried everything except the right ones
your penguin's tidiness notwithstanding, yoink, i would brush off my computer chair before sitting down. Just a suggestion. by the way, does the penguin speak to you? just curious.
se 4/4 plus c plus two vowels
Schroe! You're all but done!
It's a plant form.
Hey all... 6 to go & they all have me stumped...
...'owzat Jear?
thanks, got them - geez...
lol! Jera : ) Sorry, name frenzy...
I need the second an5/10, an6/18 & last (?) an4/4...
Hi jera! Need some help? : )
Yes! *hugs Lola desperately in relief*
sn 5/12? Could I get a clue please?
an5/10, it's a star shaped spice. The six is the plural : )
From French dictionary - bo 5 - German
an4/4, there is the one that ends hoop plus vowel, then the one that ends hoop plus consonant, then the one that ends in the abrev of the country I'm from : )
sn5/12, add what you are left with after a fire : )
*smacks self with fish for missong star-shaped spice* Did I mention I have the flu?? I think I'm doing quite well, considering... this is the only luxury thing I got out of bed for today...
Thanks!
Aw, poor jera! Hope you feel better soon chicks : ) You're welcome goofball : )
Down to 2... that pesky an4 (still in the dark re your lovely clues, Lola) & an os4...
Yay! Got the O!! Now for that expletive deleted A...
evening all can anyone please give me a clue for the bo 5/18 and bo 6/30
You are doing brilliantly no matter what, Jera. I hope you are not in that unheated room doing this...
CA 6/30 pretty please
schro, the first part rhymes with baby sheep, then add two vowels : )
ruthy, for the 6 add a board game played with black and white pieces but without the last letter. The 6 is the plural of the 5 : )
Oh-oh...break time : ) back in 10...
Okay, for the an4's... I have the collections, Scottish number, buffalo, no name, & the loop... can anyone help put me out of my misery??
jera, lose the last letter of your spice : )
ty lola100
Thanks Lola 1 left.....
Oh brother... coulda sworn I tried that at least 3 times... tyvm Lola!!!
I don't think I could give coherent clues so to avoid confusion & aggravation for everyone, I will go back to bed... later, people!
ca6 country in africa dont use the Z
Congrats and take care, Jera!
I hope you feel better soon, Jera!
Any clues for ab 7/36?
'bye jera : )
Bye Jera, get well
ab7, a plus bi4/6 (the fourth one that sounds like life stories) and pluralise : )
You have 0word(s) left to find!!!!
You're a star Schroe!!!!
whats todays theme??
Woo! Well done schro! Would you like a glass of pink champers? : )
Hi tim : ) It was evanadine's birthday today so we all bought her a present : )
Your to sweet Mab :) Yes please Lola, after that grid I think I need one...or so
gifts for evanadine's birthday, Tim. (don't get her a pony, I've already gotten her one)
*lola hands schro a glass of pink bubbly*
Sweet .....I'll see what I can come up with...: )
tim, a large poop-scoop would probably not go amiss : )
i am having great trouble with the ro words i only have the ro5/12 and a ro6/21....if anyone could point me in the right direction i would be very pleased tyvm
Hi Mo, try a type of lettuce
It's horse poo! it's essentially clumped hay! is that so terrible?! actually, a scoop might be a good idea.
Hi mo : ) Try adding the 'hoop' vowel to the end of the ro you already have and pluralising that.
Mab, I just gave her a zebra. (refresh). A scoop might be helpful
I'm sorry, but what is the meaning of the ab word? I have it, but never seen it.
Hi again all! We should have a "poop" theme day. I took pics of my son's poop when he was born. B/c it was cute. 2 year old poop is not so cute now
Deutsch, Zebras make good pets. We have a rancher here that breeds them, also mixes them with donkeys and mules....
And yoink gave her penguin.
Schroeder and Lola thank you very much
smaller, 3 year old poop is even less so : /
Shroeder, that sounds interesting. does he have a web site?
mo, take your original ro5/12 and add the 'me' vowel before the last letter and the second vowel at the end. Pluralise for the ro8 : )
I don't think so, but I will find out. I have pictures of my daughter sitting on them when she was little.... Welcome back Smaller
oh smaller let's not do. Your child will thank you for that photo when he's 17.
mo, take the ro5/12 again and add three letters that sound like what you see with. Pluralise for the 9 : )
i even took a photo of the change in poop color from breast milk to formula milk. that was cute too. : )
Thanks, Shoreder, you should use that photo as your icon someday.
lola thanks i just got those all i need now are thero7/32 and ro8/45 if you can help please
mo, take the ro5/12 and add the third vowel before the last letter and the second vowel on the end. Pluralise for the 8 : )
Hi Mo that would be lettuce, RO + the small US state on the east coast
This is just nuts ! Who in their right mind has the kind of time it takes to complete this! Yet here I sit with all you other crazy people trying once again.......
Hi quick! Are you new to babble? : )
lola thank you so much for your great clues...i will stop tearing my hair out now!!!
I'm not crazy! Now excuse me while I take the wombat for a walk...
Yes. Hi! I've been doing it for almost a week and I'm hooked, hooked, hooked. Can't get away.........LOL
Deutsch I'll do that, I have to scan the picture in since it was before digital time....
Schroeder thank you very much also
Anj, just in time babe...how do I put my new tracks in iTunes?? : )
Hi Quick, They're coming to take you away, ha ha he he!
quick, you will get...er...quicker the more you play : )
I do wish they would just use normal words, though. I've never even heard of half of these words.
file, add file to library, then browse to wherever they are saved : )
You are always very welcome mo : )
Don't forget to highlight them first...
..and maybe some blusher and a bit of lippy...
Hi Deutsch. Yes, I knew they'd find me sooner or later ! hehe
But babe, you said I was beautiful WITHOUT the make-up! : ' (
...uh, was that rule no. 63? : /
No. 57. You haven't been paying attention at all, have you?
...that's rule no.3 : )
: P
...lol! : D
if i may, don't forget to refresh. rule #45.
Babe, who were the other band you told me to look for? I wrote it down somewhere but.... :)
Bullets & Octane?
mab, that's been moved up to 23 due to increasing importance : )
Thanks babe (((xx))) : )
ah! will pencil that in.
ok, why aren't there any clues for the oo6 in the log? huh? huh???? and I give eva a cute pic of my kitty :)
*rearranges rule book* so where does that leave the rule to pluralize?
Atalante, very cute!
I only have 171 more words to find ---- (laughing out loud).
atalante, add sounds like '** and you' and first half of band, **/dc : )
rule no 4 Deutsch... Not foegetting rule no. 1: Run away!
deutsch, that would be under the 'do it again' rule...rule 5 : )
oo6 - add plural for mouse, but change the last vowel to an a and put it in third position.
thanks Lola! I always think thats got a capital letter ..
quick, just read your bio. (as I'm suer we all did) I discovered Sudoku over the holidays.
Go Quick Go!!!! Your so close now (to insanity)
hello again!
lol :D, Anj!
Hey boreetos! : )
Hi boreetos!
...bl**dy vikings!
Hi again Boreetos
Anj? Now that the music is in iTunes can I delete the files in my docs?
mo needs the mo7/40....you would think i could get that!!!!
shouldn't that read 'run like the wind'?
It's the present tense verb form of mo5/16 - to amble along or hang around
yeah mo, i need all the boreetos words too. :)
mo, sounds like a word for kisses but without the s at the begining : )
this grid makes me want to type "alhambra" for some reason...
Hi Boreetos! Thanks for the clue lola!
lol! I just noticed your flag changed, did you move?
Hey, I'm here for you smaller.
~*~W~*~O~*~O~*~T~*~ : D

yeah, i'm back to finish my last 132.
boreetos, i think all the finished people should log onto our accounts and help us.
believe me, it's taken FOREVER! :-)
Ah, yes boreetos. No, I haven't moved, just suffering from post transplantation stress. Can't decide whether I'm from England or the United Kingdom : /
smaller, I think that's a great idea!
yeah une its a difficult grid today.
Aye, smaller!
thank you, thank you. since we're all in a vote of aye on that one. motion passes
Democracy in action - the American way!
Lola, maybe you could fly the SA flag sometimes
Haz, it is handy sometimes!!
2 to go! *bounce*
haz, does your icon say "memory mints"?
Yes - memory mints for senior moments.
Yeah, and our president is going to force every nation on earth to embrace democracy.
deutsch, sadly I am not allowed to (Dr God says it must be the flag of the country you are playing from). Should I put one in my icon seeing as evaN has left now?? : )
mab, LOL! : D
Yes, Mab - whether they want it or not!
ok lola, I'll quit badgering you about it, I was only curious. Didn't mean to add stress. :P Here: *passes what's left of the big plate full of truffles that I got from Anj earlier*
Mab!! LOL!! We need to be more star trekky about the prime directive
memory mints, mmmmm....
Sure, Lola, it's a pretty flag.
mab, he just makes me cringe every time he opens his mouth . . .
'heh heh' (that's a direct quote), me too.
that's aweome Haz. what are you guys talking about?!, we've got the bestest president this nationism could ever ask for again.
Aw boreetos, you didn't add to my stress! ...but I'll have the truffles anyway thanks! : )
a friend recently gave me a little tin of candies with a pic of W on the front: "National EmbarassMINTS"
*throws up hands and admits defeat* can I have a clue for the 2nd go6/30 please? At least I think its the 2nd. I've got the go+not allow (and plural)

Hi folks, I've managed to retain my sanity today - I resisted the grid. I've looked in from time to time to catch up on the chat but I think I have done the right thing in having a rest day.
HI, ExWren, great willpower, it is a toughy today, at least for me.
for me, too!
hi Ex-Wren :D ...I jumped in before I knew what I was getting into...
That was wise, ExWren. I wish I had resisted.
Hello everybody! I've not been able to babble for hours and I'm going through major withdrawals!
hi smithchick. i'm afraid i've jumped in too late. I keep reading how dreadful the grid is.
I only jumped in yesterday because gramma told me it wasn't too bad - she lied!
taking a dinner break, bbl
It was dreadful at 12:00 this morning, 7:30 this morning, and I'm sure it still is now. The problem is, when we get on at the flip and it is the middle of the night, we're all too sleep-deprived to know better than to start it.
Have you finished?
hi smithchick :D

ac6/24 - means some sort of small dry fruit, but builds off the previous ac4. Add a consonant and a vowel.

knitter...scroll down to 7:51 for clues
I'm off to buy more juice...my cupboard is bare! Nite, all!
Where are you, redshoe?
East Tennessee
Hi aknitter and yvo!
Central Arkansas, we're neighbors!
evening smithchick
ah, a southern babe...that's why so nice!
You too:)
redshoe, does that mean we northerners are mean???
ty, ty...I'm just a well-seasoned southern babe....
nope, knitter...just that southerners are known for their hospitality...we make friends standing in line.
too cold to stand in line around here!!
Of course not, aknitter! I'm missing an hi4/5. I've monkey-typed and can't come up with it. I've got hurries, and female chicken spelled with i.
the converse is often true as well...people not from the south often think southerners are a bit "slow" since we tend to smile a lot
We're supposed to get a piddly 2-3 inches of snow tomorrow. We haven't had one good snow all year. My kids are NOT happy about it.
i'm starting at the bottom tonight so have not gotten to the h's yet
I've been all over this dang grid.
smithchich, you will not believe this one thanks to the recent posts, but try hi 4 like you might see on the men's restroom in a campy place like Cracker Barrel
The drawl doesn't help either. I was an Air Force brat, so I traveled around a lot until I was about 9, so I don't have much of one but my nephew is 11 and has a very pronounced drawl and he sounds dumb as a rock. He's actually very intelligent. He just reminds me of this big lumbering creature because of his size and accent.
oh, no smith chick...I was army brat to age 17 and army wife from 22-37
sorry that should have been 31
Thanks redshoe!!! Definitely qualifies as a stupidhead word. Dogpatch here I come!
last requests?
so6/18 please?
My hubbie did a stint in the Army National Guard and hated it, so "our" military was short and didn't involve any travel. My sister and her hubby are both in the Air Force and another sister is married to an Air Force guy. They've been to England, Germany, Guam, etc. My one sister has done a couple of TDY's to different places.
so 6/18 - having a large bosom and pleasing curves starts with the same 4 letters as the word above...sounds like the cool guy from "Happy Days"
Thank you. Thank you.
Seems weird to me to live in one place...but I've been here now since '88.
My name doesn't start with so, redshoe! And it is only five letters!
ttfn--gotta run so i can get to the store.
Bye redshoe, thanks for all the help!
Does anyone have a clue for the ro6/21, ro7/32 and ro6/21?
ro 7/32 is a lettuce
Got that one. Do you have the other? It's sandwiched between the two last ro6/21's.
there is the ro 6 people who hung out at the colleseum in italy
nope don't have that yet
Got them. I guess I'll be needing the fish. Wasn't using any logic there.
i can't find the last (or near to the last) no 5 and 4
It's a kind of cheese, its plural and the ro5 plural.
one is to not have any and a plural, the same word but a different vowel ending and the plural for that and the thing on your face and its plural.
The very last 4 is a snack or light meal.
pass the fish please oh and thank you
I guess I'm done with it, so here you go:)
its been a busy fish tonight
good evening -- any help on the co8/50 and co9/66? pls
either put together or use out in the field.
Hi pbr, by the way.
Does anyone have the bi7/36?
Never mind. This grid has many stupid words. The bi7 is among them.
smithchick -- the word(s) are eluding me -- just don't see them
That smithchick sure does keep to herself, doesn't she?
What happens when you cook? You co***** the ingredients. Then the plural.
smithchick...do tell on the bi7. Purdy please?
bi7- could mean having two butts!
kim...give me a break! Thanks!
LOL kimdog!!! I'm not a swearer but in the interest of giving a clue---LM*A*0!:)
smithchick -- isn't that the 7/44?
pbj, Yes. I was temporarily braindead. The co you want is stickiness.
Sorry, pbr. I really must pay more attention.
Does anyone have the se7 and se8? Do they work off the se6/21?
smith...not ignoring you, just not there yet :)
smithchick -- finally ty
YW. Sorry about the mixup. I've not really gotten back into my zone since the whole paint on the carpet thing.
smithchick - no problem, we are human!!!
Okay, got the se7/8 combo. redshoe gave a really good clue at 7:51.
en6/21??
en+love (italian style)
Hey all. Just now checking in for today. I didn't have the luxury of blowing off responsibilities two days in a row:) No way am I going to finish this tonight but thought I would try to pick up as many points as possible before I go to bed.
Hey musicmom, there are definitely some big pointers here. We'll help!

Hello, doxy!

hooray smith-106 here for me, not sure if I'll finish but I'll try!
Do you have all of your 9's, musicmom?
I'm missing one. Just a minute I'll figure out what it is/
I have the ca and the co. Is it an ro?
Yes, ro- to become from the capitol of Italy.
is it related to the 8?
musicmom, plural the 8
Well, that was a dumb clue. Um, let's see... It's related to one of the ro8's. The other is the lettuce, an ro7/8 combo. Let's say you have a ro*** nose. Then add a vowel-consonant-vowel combo to the end.
That helped. Got it The no** has it. I had the lettuce already TY
Doxy, I meant my clue was dumb, not yours.
I'm so brain dead it isn't registering, so no prob.
Thanks guys. I have to go to bed. Big day tomorrow. My daughter completes her Bronze award for Girl Scouts. That means mom has to be busy while she is at school.
nite musicmom, have fun tomorrow.
g'nite mm, good luck tomorrow
ac8- the condition of being in pain. ca8/45- member of a religious group of women ca8/45 to treat as saintly co8/50- stickiness co8/45- to co***** ingredients gr8/60- the expression you'll have when reading these clues... hi8/65-grill ma8/55 - things we use to simplify our live ma8/45-fancy houses ro8/-lettuce ro8/ to become more Italian se8/45 plant genus daisy
Oh, well bye musicmom.
I'm starting to have strong negative feelings toward this grid! But, smithchick, YOU are an angel! Thanks for the clues!
smithchick, thanks for the 8 letter clues, got them all now, and the 9's.
YW. I was trying to help musicmom before she had to leave, but while I was busy typing away, she left. So I'm glad somebody else got good use out of them. I didn't want anyone to be miffed because I gave too much away.
Hello, by the way, smaller. Can you tell that I had a Dr. Pepper? A little hyper...
Absolutely perfect, smithchick! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
mi6/21? pls
mi6/21: It's a process having to do with the eye.
drink more!!! i have about 80 words left!!
LOL, smaller!
smithchick ty - 46 more to go.
any help on the am 7/32?
am7: italian word for love+vinnie barbar***
I'm assuming everyone watched Welcome Back, Kotter and loved John Travolta!:)
ty smith!
No problem kristin:)
smithchick, i've been going through your 8's clues, thank you. problem is i still can't get the h & s?
ishult, for the s use "daisy genus" on one-look reverse. for the h, think asian grill technique
hi- an outdoor grill (I think it is an Asian word) se- Work off your se4/4 + 2nd consonant + vowel + vowel + plural
Dang! Just shy of 50%! Appreciate great clues, but must close and head for headache relief from smacking self in forehead after reading clues! That's the good news and the bad! Nite all! And thanks!
nite mom23, sleep well
nite mom23!
G'Nite, Mom!
oh smithchick, these are soooooo haarrrrddddd!!! (note whine)
snivel snivel, whine whine
all right smaller, no whining.
Tell me about it. I worked on them for about an hour and a half last night, 30 min. this morning, and about three and a half hours this evening. I didn't even try not to use bj's list. Although I didn't break it out until I needed 65 more words.
what is smaller going on about? does she need another chocolate fix?
I think she does.
dooooxxxxeeyyee, but the grid's being mean. These words are stoooopid. Smithchick, If I vow to never use these words, they should magically jump onto my list
LOL Csmith, It's probably a sugar low!
Now that's true. These could be some of the most stupid words ever! Hello, Cmith:)
i still have 122 to find.
oh come on pbr......I am missing either the first or second no4/4 -- help!!! how simple can it be...I just can't find it
no4/4: plural negatives or french black?
pbr, many negative answers? film no**?
pbr- negative plural and french word for black (film no**)
Great minds do indeed think alike!!!
oooohh - smaller - we have great minds!
we could be charlie's angels!!
Can I be farrah? You know, back before the naked painting and wacked out talk show appearances?
I had to look this up after I found it - it's a silly hat! mo 6/ 21 a crested metal helmet OR me in the middle of a mentally challenged person
ty -- I took Spanish -- on-line translation helped also. 25 more to go
I need help with one of the final two co 5/18? I have that means mixture (ending w/ an o)

kristinc: anagram the one you have
ROFL, smaller!
csmith...of course?!? :)
woohoo pbr!! nice clue csmith!
Cmith, I have just misspelt your name, several times. Again.
smaller s'kay - I'll just call you LARGER from now on
17 s's left -- let's hope for the best
ok I give up. Lovely time going through mental pain with you dearies. Have a great rest of the evening
Cmith, that was hilarious. Either I'm especially giddy tonight, or you guys are especially funny.:)
Night, smaller.
LOL Cmith!
Hello everyone -- have 123 to find including the co8 (stickiness) and the se8 -- tried using the clues from earlier but am not seeing them :)
Bye, smaller. Did you finish?
hi GW. the co - remember the gluey one from yesterday ad*******
se 7/ 32 flowering plant OR se4/4 + 2/3 of Italian goodbye se 8/ 45 plural of se7/32 (flowering plants)
Now I do, doxy -- thanks ;)
the se - it's easiest to google the daisy genus def.
Hi, GreyWoulf. If you have a group that is very tight, (stick together) you have co*****n, then the plural. se4/4 +the second consonant + the middle three of your ab7 word.
what ab word? ;D I haven't hit brandyjack's list yet
wow -- I sound like such a newb right about now :D
the ab7/36 word is an odd one (to me, anyway) meaning absence of life. It's got one of the bi4/6's in it and ends in the two letter plural prefix.
ab 7/ 36 (plural) absences of life OR a + life stories + squiggly letter
Thank you, thank you -- I now have both the ab and the se :) And got a lesson along the way to always remember to burp the baby after feeding -- thankfully he spit up all over the swaddling cloth and not the daddy or the clean outfit I just put on him :D
Oh no, GreyWoulf. Not things I miss. My first son spit up after every feeding whether he was burped or not. Completely soaked the burp cloth every time.
he's usually pretty good with minimal if any -- I just let myself get distracted :)
i have three left -- one of which is sa5/16 - any help?
sa + hello + b
sa5/16 term of respect used for a European man in colonial India.
Definitely not finishing this one -- still have over 100 to go-- didn't think I would -- had to return to work today :)
haylp! I'm missing one of the first three no 4/4s before the first 5/10 (a 4/4...I know!) I have the opposite of affirmative plural and the prefix for nine. Can someone help me with the other 4/4?
it is the dark no -- as in film no**
update...either the first or second no 4/4
gotcha...not sure how I missed that! Thanks GW. How did the first day go?
GreyWoulf and smithchick --thanks, I am done and am going to bed -- I have a full day of work tomorrow -- training, interviewing potential new employee and dr. appt.
congrats pbr!!!!
Yay pbr!!!!Congrats!! Have a good day, tomorrow.
1 - opp yes 2 - fr black 3 - grandma 4 - nothing at all 5 - mid face 6 - bit to eat
right now I am back at Lenscrafter's, kristi so it went fine -- it is amazing how little stress I suffer knowing that I will only have to go there once a week starting next week ;)
thank you very much hoot! Are you done too?
evening woulf
GW...but don't you also have a new, new job?
Hi Kris. Not even close! Only 151 words. Didn't even try.
Hi hoot (*HUG*) kristi -- the new new job starts on monday --- at which point I will most likely only pop on the log during the week to say hi as I will have to get up VERY early (for me) and still deal with the midnight feedings :)
And the no's are only one of 3 letters I completed!
Hoot...well done enough to help...Well done! 10 left for me.
No fair, hoot! you have more than me :)
GW...remind me of the new job again?
Working for a battery company repairing batteries and battery chargers
GW...quite the change from Lenscrafters, why so?
need last (or second last) co5. Have the hair tamer with extra vowel.
Extremely tired of the retail grind plus I need to boost my income in order to keep my family happy and out of the poorhouse
Try all the same letters with the double vowel in the middle, doxy.
Gotcha...just curious. Good luck with the new new job then too! I'll let you keep hunting :)
thanks smith
not really hunting -- more like firing random shots into the brush and seeing what falls over ;D
Weird - tried to send a message and it locked up. Everything else worked. Restarted Babble. Was asking if maybe I had more imagination woulf?
Searched high and low for that one. It was my very last one to find.
maybe, hoot, or maybe you just had more time today :)
Any chance of getting the last ac 7? Might as well get points.
ac 7/ 32 divided as in a gland OR ac + 1st person pronoun + smelling organ
Didn't spent any time on it. Put in 70-75 words last night, printed out the list today and tried to fill in. Only been on for about an hour and picked up a few clues and did some searching on-line. BF was home today so was not on cmp. Will be the same for next 3 days.
Thank you
Still more time than I spent on it today -- was on for about an hour this am and haven't done anything till I got home -- didn't even print out the list -- never get time to work on it at LC
:( I'm not going to be able to finish today...just not enough time. still need 50 words.
You have 0 words left to find. Hooray! Not to shabby considering I did it all tonight...no time to babble at work today. Anyone need any help?
congrats kristin
Woo!!! Yay Kristin!!!
Well I usually go back & forth with list and cmp. Not so today. Didn't even print list til after noon and looked at it after dinner.
Yayyyy for kristi!!!!! (*hug*)
Congrats Krist
bi7?
Thank you smith, hoot and others for the help!
Tit for tat. Thank you!

Or Angels clue...I'm a crazy person...never read it that way! :) duh for me!
53 to go. working on ca's right now
yours worked for me, kristi :)
hey, could i have a hint with the en 6/21? im stuck!
It just gave me the bi6 I entered earlier and was denied. Very confused game! Why is it valid now and not then?
kole en+ french word for love
en6 love italian-style
It's how you feel about the other
Actually the same in many languages. All latin roots.

YW
