Kaynanda - it's a type of 'code' we use to help us recognise which words we are talking about. sc5/14 means that the word begins with sc, has 5 letters and when the points values are added up (and doubled because it's a 5, you get 14 points. Have a look at Babble rules.

Sorry, Mr P - was distracted there. Londonderry is one of the six counties of Northern Ireland. Portstewart is one of the seaside towns with a magnificent strand or beach. The 'sea' is the Atlantic ocean so sea bathing is not for the faint-hearted.

Well, if nothing else I'll be distracted<g> They did rearrest the guy yesterday and gave him a much higher bail without a surety. He Should stay locked up until trial in April. That is a relieve.

Oh, lovely, Babbler. Definitely a cure for ac6! I have been receiving the Saatchi gallery newsletter and think it is quite good. Saatchi himself is a very rich anti-intellectual, I think, but whoever is doing the newsletter is very clever.

I got to Oregon for the first time last summer. BF had to go to Idaho to help close his moms house and then we continued to Cos Bay to meet some friends. Finally saw the Pacific!
JoJo, thanks me. Hoot-yeah, the weather on the coast is not always great but is it still a unique place that I really enjoy. Coos Bay is a small little place but fun. My dad grew up in the area and said lots has changed over the years!

That was the biggest surprise - we were there for a week driving up to Portland after the visit and never saw the sun til we went inland again! Wanted to go in the ocean and settled for a bottle full to take home. I have finally been coast to coast!
JoJo, it was very fun. Had about 30 and some new faces to boot so we had a great time regardless of the game's outcome. Big screen, good food. I'd do it again (next year hopefully!)

JoJo-the church owns a couple In-Focus projectors so we moved one into a bigger room and projected it on a big screen by just hooking it up to a VCR-had a few technical difficulties w/ getting reception in a 3 story brick building but we figured it out.

Kristinc: No superbowl party. Our son and his wife invisted us out to their place, but they were having all their friends over and we just told them that they didn't need any old folgies there. But, yes, we were both pretty dismayed by the outcome, but we enjoyed it.

His schedual changes. Right now he's working 5am to 3-4pm. And 4 days on and 4 off. But he is usually very patient about my babbling. The 400+ made me stop voluntarily. Couldn't stand the time I was putting in when he was home all day! He'll be off mon thru thur next week so I may or may not be around. You'll know why if I'm not.
