yep...

Very nice!
that sucked. just as the flip happened my laptop went into hibernation. i was out of battery and had to find the cord and ..... frustration. i'm back :)
welcome back!

is there another site that has more information on these puzzles. I dont see where u are getting some of your clues
woo hoo a 9'er
If you click the lickety’s babble stats link on the bottom of the page you will get a first and second letter breakdown of all the words. Very helpful.
house
lickety's not up for today yet
oh, whoops. well, if you click back in a little while it should be up. right now people are just posting words they've found
or you could just type in what fish is typing ;(
er, ;)
any ideas on the 10 yet?
sorry bout that , wrong box
damn tab button
fear
damn it
i got nuthin, shade. the 9 doesn't seem to be able to be stretched
yeah, I figure there's a root somewhere
31 words already. this will be fun...
50 in 10 minutes - i'm stopping in 5 must sleep
holy crud, melon that's impressive
nice melon!
my mom & i were cutthroat bogglers
after that 1st burst tho i really slow down.
Same here melon. I need sleep too. See you tomorrow.
mk, love the dog
oh weird... was anyone in here about 2 hours ago? someone (gramma? saphyre?) taught us the te 4/6 word "in case it ever shows up in a puzzle"
no...
that is wierd leslie. i even thought it was a strange conversation then. now it's just creepy!
totally missed that, too.
i know, i thought it was a totally odd convo. i'm like, whatever. how very odd.
Dr. G-d, you are such a tease!! Oh, I guess I'll just have to go back to figuring the words out by hand. Thanks for the free stats, it was fun while it lasted ;)
does it rhyme with what your feet are attached to?
yup
yeah. it means adult sheep
baaaa
boatierra- You're supposed to say that you can't live without the stats panels. :)
and that just came up in conversation?
dr. g, you have to be messing with the grids for that te 4/6 word to show up, right?
and hello and good morning, btw :)
I can live w/o the stats panel. I can't live w/o my utilites. One day (soon), I'll have a few extra shekels to pass onto my favorite game. Until then, I just have extra money to buy chocolate. Priorities ;)
oh, THERE it is.
ra 4/6 + r should be a word surely... one who ra 4/6 + s!!
i tried it too, olive
evil, i just tried it too. annoying
and one who ga 4/6 should be the 5.
83 so far - laila tov
whoa! 70 here and SLOWING down.
is the 9 an h5+a w4?
yup
thanks kristin
then how come what I think it is won't work?!?
Maybe you have the wrong W4? zThere's more than one
go up from the w
hmmm, i dunno... is yours desperate?
kristinc the last part is not husband
got it, w/ the go up clue...thanks
I kept trying to describe what is on my body at the moment and thinking I was crazy...thanks :)
i tried that too kristin. :)
i think that is ware...
that would work... bummer it's not here!
logically yes, Leslie Ann...but it's babble...the land of made up compound words ;)
that's true, *ahem, rerig*
exactly :)
kristinc --re: what one puts on self in the home--I agree
exactly lib!
my mom and i always joke about the words in here. we'll "monkeytype" one and it'll take it, but it won't take the past tense or plural. we always say, "don't be silly!"
and apparantly, that is my favorite word at the moment
exactly!
wassup, yes not always a lot of rhyme or reason to the whole thing
tee hee
that's what makes it a challenge!
whats the 10
oggy...still working on that one
i don't think anyone's got it yet, oggy
dunno oggy
how many words today?
205
thanks
tease
wease

i can quit anytime. just one more... i promise
LOL kierlex
1 game is too many & 1000 is not enough...
it's just a hobby, not an obsession or anything...
LOL libarebel
everyone's doing it
i only do it at work once in a while...
especially the cool kids
Babble peer pressure. You must spell is right!!
i don't do it and drive for godsake...
lol kierlex
napoleon dynamite's favorite animal is in here. "it's bred for it's skills and magic"
lol--kierlex, I don't think it hurts your liver...
good one, wassup. i kept trying to make it in the last puzzle
"it's pretty much my favorite animal"
me too
i tried to make it in hte last puzzle, too
"gossssssshhhhhhhh"
"shocks, pegs, lucky..."
Not a llama, not a wolf....darn, I trying to remember which animal it is...
it's like, a lion and a tiger combined...
half lion, half...
Oh, I got that one a while ago. Boy, I totally don't remember that from the movie. Darn, I'll just have to watch it again :)
why isn't 'hiho' a word... hi ho hiho it's off to babble i go
it also won't take hehe, although it will take haha. go figure.
my kids quote napoleon, only they call him mapoleon.
It'll also take 'tsks'.
and 'pfft'
really? good to know pfft and tsks. not in this instance but hey...
lol, i haven't seen pfft or tsks. i love it!
argh! don't get me started on pfft! ridiculous!
Dr. G-d, any way we can find out when we signed up with Babble? I know I've been playing for over two years. Just wondering. Thanks.
well, pfft is kind of obvious when you see the list and it's like, pf 4/13 or whatever
ya'll are making my blood pressure go up
yeah, there just happens to be two f's in a row too...
I didn't know it would take 'pfft'. Good to know.
2 years?!? this is only my first week and i have already abandoned my family lol
uh oh... are you on bedrest?
whoa, watch the pregnant lady, folks!
it happens kierlex. my kids put themselves to bed tonight. i paused to kiss them.
that's right...so stop reminding me of these ridiculous words :)
(I actually like the crazy ones...I hate to admit it)
it's my hubby's turn to put the kids to bed tnite. and conveniently he fell asleep with one of them =
kierlex...get them to babble with you...that's my secret
li 7/28
boat - if you have a general idea when you started, just go back in the Archives to around that date and search the Chat log for your moniker.
our 7 year old was babbling with hubby earlier
lol, kierlex... for some reason i scanned your last post and read, "he fell asleep ON one of them"
that's awesome! my kids can't spell yet...
kier...that's fun, lots of kids actually play this game which is great
wondered why you were being so calm about the whole thing
ahh no, not on them as far as i know. not that i've gotten up to check ...
kierlex, as long as they're quiet...
yeah, my son was really proud to find 'firewood' i think in the last game
whenever i laugh out loud (lol) my daughter wants to know why. i just tell her there was a funny word. she's cool with that...
my hubby works graveyard shift 4 nights a week and falls asleep with the kids the other 3, so i get mommy time
mommy time that used to be spent being productive around the house, lol
nah...none of that!
120 words, a valient effort for tonight... i'll be taking off, see you folks later!
goodnight leslieann!
night leslie.. i'm done soon too
gnite
goodnight wassup
I'll join the club too and head out, happy hunting all!
nite LeslieAnn, I've got 105 and about to call it quit's
night kristin
kierlex - I know, 2 years. A friend of mine got me into this, and she does not play anymore. I love it.
I think it's great for little ones to babble
Broll - good idea. I'll take a look thru the archives.
i thot sudoku online was addictive!
CLues are up.
MY HERO! Thanks lickety
clues?
iou=plural should be a word ... :[]
Morning dear gang :)
ah, sprite, we meet again
hello sprite
kierlex, click on lickety's clues at the bottom of the page.
any clues on the nine or ten?
Almost bedtime, Juice?
im thinking so
Miss, i only have one of the 7's so far.
I've got one 7 that is an L. What's yours?
but i do already have 56 of the words for the day, so i may call it quits considering my eventful day
sw7/56
9 starts with ho 5/14
anyone got the 10?
We just had a sports day here at school and I'm briefly babbling before I head home. The kids wanted to see the puzzle before they left!
thanks olive 9i'm now looking)
Considering that, you could have called it quits after the very first word :) Sleep tight, Juice/Andy, hope you have a quiet night.
so, what's with the hostility?
not that i know of debbinla.
ooo thanks for the clue, got the 9 now :D
gnight all

Formally entered person.

That was the clue for the 10.
thx, Sprite
got it! thanks sprite...
yw :)
cannot quite get it
i'm too tired to figure it out...it'll hit me at 4 in the morning... :) Thanks for the clue though
The 10 sounds like an occupation.
ty, sprite ;D
Thanks, Sprite. Never would have found that on my own. :)
oh my, i got it!
Think about re***** for college courses for the 10.
is it the F or the G
Ah, a babblet: Ho4/12.
GL7/36, or has that been mentioned already?
I searched the archives, and found myself on the 7/1/04. I could have sworn that I started in March of '04. So I've been playing for about 22 months.
You're one of the old gang then, boatierra ;)
boat - you could have started before then, but skipped a day or two (or more)
Indeed. I saw a lot of old names. Lots of folks have come and gone.
Broll - I figure as much. I tried searching by the 15ths and 30ths of each month, to try and narrow down the search. I'll take another look later.
Don't think I have any idea when I started babbling.
Hardly can remember my prebabble days ;)
march 15th-ish 2006 for me!
Its seems as though I've seen your name for a long time.
wassup-- about then for me too
i forget when i started sprite but you were there already when i started
my obsession just keeps growing!
My original playing name was 'mulhermujer'. I much prefer this name.
Sprite - was wondering that very thing just yesterday! I know you appear on March 1, 2005, but not on Feb. 1, 2005.
boa you weere on before i was, did you ever watch that moviee, viva la muerte?
i need to change mine, but i'm afraid no one will know me! i didn't know i'd be signing up and doing this every day when i chose my dorky name. it was a joke!
do you like mine ?
it's german for thingywhatsit
nice... :)
hate i words
onyx - 'viva la muerta'? No. Was is something you recommened? I'll look it up on the IMDb.
everywhere else I am thingywhatsit
i gotta go. my left contact just folded in my eye. goodnight all!
Night!
Sorry, 'Viva la Muerte'. Its on the IMDb, but there is no plot outline. What's it about?
7s: GL7/36, Li7/28, Sw7/56 and Te7/36 (last one is a compound)
I'm a big fat liar...i fixed my contact (took them out) and came back for more! Did my name change?
Finally broke down and got a paid account, couldn't live without stats... :)
lol wassup, you addict!
Welcome to the world of stats then, Kitty!
i tried to change my name in my profile. hmmm
I emailed Dr. G-d directly, and he was kind enough to change it.
whats the GL7 cannot find it
oh... got it... i just changed the way it appears in my profile
What the snow does to blind you, dinks.
ok, really going to bed now.
Yeah, sure wassup ;)
yeah, what the heck. i'll bring the laptop to bed...
whoopee !!
See? :D
tee hee - I'm actually not babbling but the ironsudoku chat was slow so I was eavesdropping here - kitty and laptop and me in bed also
wassup, where in oregon do you live?
Hi there Krys! The sudoku is easy today, so no one lingers there long, I guess.
it will take me longer since i keep switchign back and forth....
i'm in hillsboro krys
And switching your mind from right half to left half and back! :)
I am down to 9 and I just cannot find them. Argh!
i haven't signed up with ironsudoku yet. i'm afraid of the addiction...
9!? i have 77 and started at the flip!
no wonder I'm dizzy. wassup, I'm driving all over Oregon this summer on a long road trip... mostly the coast and the OT, though..
Keep practising, wassup, and you will be faster in no time :)
oh, are you going to newport?
sprite, i'd be done if i'd just stop chatting, but where's the fun in that? :) ok, i wouldn't be done, but more done...
I can't refrain from chatting either, it's too much fun ;)
Good morning all - happy Friday (horrah). How's today's puzzle?
hello matty
pretty easy
It's nice, matty, some beautiful words. Also a couple of babblets.
babblets? is that like sonnets?
Oooh, babblets - the bane of my life. How long did it take y'all to remember those weird and wonderful words (like my mother's 'etui')?
Babblets are words you will never use or find anywhere else but here (and in crosswords maybe). Like anoa. And etwee.
the only other one i know is ywis
My all time favorite, wassup!
it's so obvious too. when are you ever going to have another yw word... :)
My mum was so disappointed when she discovered it wasn't pronounced as it's spelled - 'etooee'. Yah - you guys defined babblet for me at the weekend - it's just getting used to the ones here.
Today we have the vulcano(s), Ho4/12, the russian ruler.
First time 'ywis' appeared in a grid was before the stats times. It drove me completely bananas. But when I found it, finally, I fell in love right away ;)
I actually do occasionally use etwee in a conversation.. well, I use etui, actually.
.. and don't forget the cheese too. Morning
I like pfui or even phooey too.
we were just talking earlier about pfft and tsks
Hi FMitch!
hi fmitch
And the unfairness of aahed and ohed.
:)
Seems a decent grid today, or am I mistaken?
It's really nice, FMitch!
Beautiful biggies. Oh, not to mention 'aargh' AND 'aarrgh'!
oh good, thanks sprite, I will dive back in then :)
how is it possible to have that many ag words? :)
ok, sudoku's done (another unique rectangle, my favorite new trick) and I'm still wide awake... I give, I'll babble!
Got to hunt down the 7 last and lost ones and go shopping...
What's about that rectangle thing, Krys?
ah, you're just starting your day...i should have finished mine about an hour ago.
I just explained it in the chat log over there
Grid switches for me at 7 am every morning. I love that :)
*goes back to the sudoku site*
nothing like a bit of babble before breakfast wassup.
really, nothing happens before breakfast here... i wake up at 8:30 and immediately feed the fam. the kids aren't patient. :)
ahh, I don't have such lovely responsibilities.
morning all
i'm getting closer to freedom. ok, i've got about 16 years left... but i love it.
morning sha
LOL wassup. Morning sha
I get up, get the kids out of bed and get dressed myself. Then I play a little, until they are ready for breakfast.
how old are the kids?
Mine are 8 and 10 now. That is, the oldest will be 10 next week.
4 & 5 here. every day is easier though. they can do so much for themselves now. i still have to get them their food & help my son get dressed, but it's getting smoother every morning. :)
hubby wants to watch a movie. he's crazy, but I'll fall asleep to one. :) goodnight for real this time.
Yes, you are moving towards the easier years! Enjoy, wassup ;)
night night
Hey... zero words left and no fireworks?
What a swizz %"%"%"% for sprite "%"%"%"
:) Just hope it is not another connection problem with that server... buggy site this has become :(
Okay, I just refreshed and it still says 0 words to go, so I guess it is okay then. Any clues needed before I go do the dreaded shopping?
I just got eh 9 and 10 with teh clues back earlier in the log - thanks to people who posted them!
I know, really unstable! Well, I've just crossed the 1/2 way mark so bit early for clues. HAve a good day sprite
Bye then, have a great day/night/ whatever applies to you. I enjoyed the company very much :)
see you sprite! have fun shopping! ywis indeed!
Hello Everyone!!
hi Mr. P!
Afternoon MrP, hows goes your day?
your icon always makes me smile.
Hello Krys and Fmitch! My day has gone well thanks! Night is now upon us and the kids are about to jump me for the computer... thought I better get on here quick smart!
LOL you show them who's boss, or failing that fight for babble""
My daughter has joined the babble ranks and is playing for about half an hour every night... she desperately wants to say hello, so if she does say hi back... her user name is maddison and she is 8 and of course I will be supervising!!
Thats great MrP, develop an interest in words from early on. Will certaily say hi if I am around :)
52 words left got 2 go see ya later
She got 22 words yesterday! She could hardly sleep after that! Thanks FMitch, she is a bigger chatterbox than me! The kids love this game and we play boggle here at home so it was quite a progression to get an account and all!
Hello Everyone!
Hello Preethi!
My daughter's nearly 15, and she helps a bit (except she was beside herself last night due to a dead goldfish)
Yeah, dead pet anything gets that reaction here at home too! Did you have a buial?
Ummm...more of a flush down the toilet. It's not even her pet - she bought it for a boy she baby sits who turns 3 today. It was called Jeffrey - all mourn Jeffrey.
The 10 letter word was darn hard to find! It is well hidden! *RIP jeffrey*
I agree MrP was very hard to find. How was your week by the way?
the 9's a good one (compound)
Miss ABS...! how are you and why aren't you Pro yet!!??
That 10 letter one is driving me bonkers! I've read the log and monkey typed for a while now, and nothing!
kitty - you probably have the 1st 7 letters and then dont know what to add next? try a 3 letter tiny insect
I don
I don
oops... I don't know why I'm not pro?
What'd Dr God say?
my keys stuck there a second.
I'm doing pretty good Mr P. Had a very long day today. It was sports day at school. It went really well though so that's a plus.
He said fine and we worked out how to do it, I am gonna send him an email right now! I am sending you mail too!
Okay let me go see if my inbox has something in it.
WTF "14 day trial over"
I haven't been able to check my email this week Mr P. School won't let me get into "webmail" or "hosted sites" so I've not been able to get to yahoo.
Gayer than Fred Phelps
Yup, me too Schwer... and I only played 3 times
hey crooty :) found john in the grid? :)
Oh well I guess if you can't spare $15 for Dr. God you'd might as well curl off and die
Oh man. Finally got the ten. How silly!
Hmmm now that I think about it, I WOULD pay $15 if there was a "regular f*$king English" dictionary option that members would get access to
you need to talk to enable about that, not dr_g ...!
But $15 for a glorified word search that takes hours out of your day only because you have to grope around for some truly asinine words...
I got a paid account today, since I fell in love with the stats and could not live without :)
Don't play then, schwer! It isn't hard (unlike your name)
yeah ... or find a game with a different dictionary base!
Niiiiice matty. Ich bin schwer.
lol but schwer it doesn't have to take hours out of your day... you choose for it to, that's the beauty of babble!
Morning all! Worth every pennny going pro. Hours of endless fun!!
Ich weiss! Ich habe gehoert so. Wenn du nicht spielen willst, dann spielst nicht! Einfach!
you can play as long or short as you like... you can search for words or just simply see how you go.
Ich bin schill.
well apart from the re's that is!!
Very nice matty. I am already less pissed off.
You even know the umlaut/e-afterwards thing.
OK bye the f-ing bye people. Enjoy the game that only Fred Phelps could invent!
anyone get the re10 yet?
anyone get the re10 yet?
Yep, I got it this afternoon :D
explain.... i think
ok missABS! all on a roll! I must go and have my dinner, back soon ladies and gents!!
you have to re _____ to play the game... and once you re_____ you become what? That's the best clue I could come up with... hope it's not given too much away
I'm off for the night. I'm heading out to dinner and a movie! good luck everyone!
Goodnight everyone
Good morning all.
Bye MrP and Miss ABS
good night, Mr. and Miss1
and hello Haz
morning :)
It's a day for playing babble! Is the grid nice?
Excellent - apprently - I didnt realise this - my free 14 day trial period has run out so I have no idea how many words there are and its annoying :-(
there's 205 words
you could always use the clues from lickety's site (link at bottom of page
It is a good one today Haz, already at 122 so you will zoom through a lot too.
hi all
thanks - Ive got 9 so far hehe
That sounds inviting - Atalante, good morning.
Likety - Google Page Creator is having a little trouble right now. This is not because of anything you did; it's just a little hiccup in our system that will hopefully go away soon. We apologize for the inconvenience, and recommend you try reloading this page.
morning all
Good morning rosalind!
Not very nice weather very windy and raining and my husband has gone to play golf.
Morning does anyone have a clue for the li 7, I am not seeing it?
Its windier today - yesterday mind you some poor woman pushing a buggy nearly got blown over.
boats slightly tilted sidways?
if you have the li4/4 add to that or if you have the gl7 take the g off.
rosalind, sounds like he is a dedicated rather than fair weather golfer!
FMitch, I think you're describing an li6...
Yes he is. He runs a golf society
Got it, never heard of that and its not in A-Z either. Thanks for the clues.x
Krys you are right and there was me thinking I was fully awake LOL
not that my sideways boats clue was much better :)
The clues pointed me in the right direction so they were a help!
;)
and they helped me
Awww, my stats are gone. DrG gave us a 14-day free trial (I wondered) - back to stat-less playing for me, I guess. Morning, btw
at least you got 14 days of it! just go pro :)
Good morning amandacath.
Its worth going pro.
morning amandacath
aww, no fireworks
Schwer seemed to disagree earlier, but I reckon it's well worth the money to go pro.
I do too
congrats, balker :) It's ridiculously late here - going to bed!
sprite didn't get fireworkds when she finished earlier either, sounds like another glitch
Maybe I'll give myself pro for Christmas - unfortunately my finances are so tight that $14.95 is a luxury. No fireworks either? Hmmm - oh well, as long as I can play and chat, I'm happy
Oh, and I guess I'll have to start asking "how many words today?" again
205 words today
Thx Haz - may not be able to finish today.
use licketys clues amandacath - link at the bottom there under friends of babble
i generally end up using lickety's list even with the stats - think i've only finished once without it
yeah, same here
I've always used it as well.
I use it when I just see anymore words
that should be just cant see anymore words.
amandacath - me too - I never got as far as fireworks anyway hehe
Good Morning Haz, Amandacath, ilandrah, rosalind230, CJ25, everyone. Up for a sec to see what's going on then back to bed.
morning rumple
hi rumplestiltskin
finn
Hello rumple!
sorry cursor in wrong place
Howdy.
Why isn't "finn" a word?
I'm a finn myself! It should be a proper word :)
It's a proper noun and is capitalised in the dictionary.
mm-m, but apparently the dictionary Babble uses doesn't recognize it :(
It doesn't recognise it because it is a proper noun as in the name of a person or place.
aah! that explains it
I'm not very familiar with the dos and don'ts of Babble words quite yet :)
It's worth trying words because some very unlikely ones get accepted!
like the h4/12 in the grid today with no deF
Thank you for that one!
LOL yw
yes thanks
any clues for the 9 or 10 word please
for the 9 think of that US series Wisteria Lane
re10/84, one who enlists
The 9 is a compund word, for a person who doesn't have a job as such, but takes care of her husband
nit's not called that but it takes place there I think
had the two words but didnt put them together thankyou.
ho9/108 - skilled domestic multi-tasker (trying to talk myself up)
Hehe, I'm so going to use that defenition in the future when I talk about what I do! :D
Well, it's time I went and did some of that skilled multi-tasking. I'll be back later to find some more words. Bye all!
Bye Haz!
bye Haz see u later
a 10 letter word! got the 9 - no help needed there - much
Much against my better judgement, I am going to "have-a-go" today, despite there being 17 re's followed by 18 ra's!
Go for it ExWren, good luck and enjoy :)
bye Haz, back to bed, only 4:30

Any help on the 10?
how many words for today?
morning
mrpresident, you have fireworks already
Hi folks. Just started putting my words off paper in. A couple of years ago, Dr_God had to stop animated avatars (icons) because they interfered with the site so I do wonder if the fireworks, being animated, are doing the same. Maybe he's experimenting with leaving them off for that reason?
Hi scatty! not yet, I gave them to ARB cause dr.g's aren't working
re 10/84 someone who is signed up for a conference is a re..........
Good morning and thanks ARB!!
anytime, yw
ARB - huh? Delegate, attendee...I can't think what the re would be...
Is there a law of nature that says it has to stop raining some day?
Matty-when you sign in at a hotel you sign the re_____
Genesis says the rainbow is a promise
no rainbows here....lots of thunder and lightning last night though.
I sign the guestbook...
Any damage, Eva?
OOOOHHH...bear with me...
I don't know if the word is the same there-but the openings in the floor which let heat rise are re_______
hospitals - you get types of doctors - interns, consultants and re- . work around that idea
school teachers call the re every morning.
Teachers call the roll...
I don't think there's any damage around here. Haven't gone out yet. Hew Hampshire and Massachusetts are a mess, but things cleared there yesterday.
Morning eva and merp and Hi to all
Matty-think of the re prefix for a king, then go from there.
Morning FMitch....mrrrrrp
ok, maddison is going to be logging on, so she will be saying hi! Hi Eva!, hello again Fmitch and matty....
hi mrp. whois maddison?
mrp junior
how old is maddison?
Hello folks, I've become a pro member at last. Dr God did the right thing in giving me a taste of that icon . He's put the joining fee up though, so serves me right for not doing it sooner.

Yes, Atalante
Oh, there they are now!!! I feel so proud.

Hello everyone
Hi Maddison.
I watched a bit last night scatty - whata bunch they are this time!!!!
I haven't watch BB since the 4th series but I did set the video to tape the programme about BB Couples last night, as I want to know what happened to Helen & Paul. Haven't watched it yet, though.:-)
found any words yet maddison or have you just started?
In case anyone's wondering, that is a cat with its legs in the air on my icon.
awww helen and paul are cute
lol! oh! I thought it was a cow *blushes*
I just started but only found 1 word
Ata - I thought it was a cow, too.
Im sure you will find some more if you look hard. I hear you did well yesterday.
Oh well, it was my first attempt at downloading one. It's Felix, out on the deck. I'll try to find a close-up tomorrow.
felix! cool name :)
if you click on hydras profie you can see a bigger image and he/she (the cat) is georgeous
Only I call Felix. My boyfriend calls him Flad, short for Flathead. He has an oddly shaped head. He answers to anything, especially Dinner.
OH! he is!!! gorgeous!
Got the 10. Whew. Thank gowd for crossword solvers.
Cute cat - I thought it was a cow as well on the tiny icon
Yes i did . I found 31 words. And my brother helped
Like your icon, Atalante. Is it one of your own?
yay maddison! go you :)
its a concept art pic of Anakin Skywalker, but I fiddled around with it a bit and stuff. I wish he was one of mine!!!!
Really good. I must now sip my ghastly Chinese herbs. I'm trying to cure a stomach ulcer with herbs and acupuncture. Had my first needle session yesterday and it seems to have helped. Anyone else tried it?
Found 126 here. Time I went and fed the cats etc. BBL. Happy Babbling, all!
Bye, Jacula
I have 16 words so far, well bye for now
bye maddison
Well done. When you've played for a while, you'll learn all kinds of weird ones. Babble definitely improves the vocabulary.
Thank you. Bye
and that's me done.
Hydra, I have had chinese medicine for something that was beyond help with the doctors... I had chinese herbal tea (yuck to the point of nearly puking) and I have never had problems since! I do believe now and I was definitely sceptical before I tried it! Good on you for giving it a go!
"Babble improves the vocabulary" - hah! How many times do you use the yw word in convesation :)
Congrats, Mitch. I only have 68 so far and have to do some work now.

hydra - your pic has me thinking my cat Zoe is related. I went and uploaded a pic of her for today's icon (refresh if you're not seeing a black & white cat)
she asked my if she can go Pro, I told her she needs to save up her pocket money and she is now on a mission to unpack the dishwasher and feed the dog every day! She wants an icon of a pile of candy

Bye Smaller and firefly
methinks i shall call it a ..game.
the 9 and the 10 and two of the 7's are quite normal words.
one of the biggies is a compound, which is always harder for me to see, and the other biggie has a prefix and a suffix and kind of winds up the side of the board in a funny way.
hi lianakate
really krys, i find compounds ea6! :)
hi, abe..and ty Krys
show-off :P
(thwaaping Hursh)
no, i think it's impressive that you find whole words ea6.

G, L, S, T
I have been searching endlessly for TE 5,14 and still need a hint. Please. It's the final 5 word for TE. Thanks.
I have the s and the G
and the T
li7 is plural of li6 and is a person who is on an li4
nope still missing the T7
Oooh - I see your problem. You don't have the stats, do you? Go here: http://licketysplitaus.googlepages.com /babbleclues

matty - some of us like to try to do it without the list :)
I just got the Li7/26 ..and I think its a dumb, dumb word..LOL..I would never use it!! Would anyone here use it?
i might, now that I know it :)
merk, it's an anagram of what you do to parmesan cheese to put it on your pasta.
I know - I was talking to dinks...I'm not sure if she knew about it!
doc should put more info in the help section about the list, i think.
it would be helpful! :)
It's what I do to the cheese to prepare it to put on my pizzza?
no merk, it's an anagram of that. you scramble the letters.
hursh: are you talking about the thing on which "honi soit qui mal y pense" is written?
Hursh..are you talking about the item a bride tosses ..after she takes it off her thigh?
wow..that could sound sick..I so stink at clues.
i'm talking about te 5/14, which merk requested.
and erda - i don't know! IS te 5/14 the thing on which that is written?
and what's honi?
Right. I meant anagram of what I do to the cheese.
no -- we were talking about two different things
erda - what word is yours about?
I only understood the mal and the pense...ack
O
that whole quote is on the Order of the G*r*e*
I'm scrambling letters to no avail .... something I've been doing for awhile now.

Hope I never do! But thanks for the clues
Hurshy, you turned in to Marry Popins !! lol
I refuse to resort to licketys list..so I am done..Thanks all for the clues, and the chuckles..Out at 70 left (sigh)
well yes because the constable says "go fly a kite" on the phone to his superior, and then he says, "oh no sir, i didn't mean you PERSONALLY", so, then i had to start singing...
OH ok, if it makes you feel better lol xx

I'm like that wiht sushi - halfsies very important diplomatic tactic
Munner, that is just funny! only one teen boy in the house at the moment, but if he had his way, he'd get half of everything and leave the rest of us (3) to duke it out over the rest...

That's despise gardening. Love the results of other's efforts, though. Time to give up chatting since I can't bloody type straight!
yes evanadine it would- i'm allergic to beef so i am weary of pizza toppings (although they looked SO yummy)
abe, wasn't gloating -- after you left we were talking about chocolate cakes and eclairs and fruit pizza... so I went for something that would at least give me the energy to work off the calories! LOL
I've made salad pizzas for parties - especially good with hot cheese + cool greens. Yummy.
:( Oh, well, tomorrow is another day. Bye all

good day fellows
Thanks for asking Abe -- Tom got my computer to work in Linux last night, but I don't want to push my luck. I am on his box again until I make sure all my important files have been transferred. Then I will go back to my own for playtime

Peter....
paul
Stid - I love white irises I just put some out last fall they sould be in bloom within the next week. I can't wait.
mary
LOL
peter mayhew
I win! I win!
Well done, Stidmama!!!!!!!! *Applause!!!! Applause!!!!!*
Matthew would be so proud of me -- he would have known right away though...
*pouts* Unc and I both guessed him by character, do we count as winners?
hmmm, i wonder if my friend ryan mayhew is related to him... he's tall...
Stid - I also gave some black irises that are just beautiful they are actually a very deep purple and appear to be black.
firefly and Unc, you are winners just for playing the game! here have a consolation eclair
It is also the birthdate of both Ho Chi Min & M alcolm X
Firefly - yeah, go on then, I mean nobody else played Chewie.....
And Pol Pot
Mary - and Andre the Giant.....he would have been 60 today.....
any prize that has eclairs involved is good enough for me
I am slowly building my iris collection. a few here, a few there... the white iris is the first I actually loooed in a catalog and got -- though mother bought them for me...
I have concentrated mostly on dahlias because I know most about them... :-) I like growing things that will survive my care!
And Pete Townsend & Joey Ramone! Weird
with the PM clue, I was going to guess Peter Marshall, from the game show. Wasnt he a tall guy?
Stid - I've got the white, peach, purple(black) and standard purple and I have some deep pink ones.
thanks Mman :) just wanted to be part of the club
Ohhhh I dahlias but I have to dig them up in the fall so I stopped planting them after all my tubes froze in barn a few years back. I should have put them in my basement :(
oh -- there are some lovely ones down at our farmer's market -- I'll have to stop by and get some pics for you. There are some lovely frilly bearded ones with the falls a different color from the tops and that speckling around the edges... I don't have any of that type yet (but soon I think)
MM- He was so awesome in Princess Bride. What a great cast- what a great movie.
I had the red dinner plate dahlias :(
I'm so spoiled - live in zone 9, so everything overwinters. I have 3 kinds of dahlias plus a few Japanese irises (bloom in summer).
Stid - Iris is one of my all time favorits and Peonys..
Yes, for us the problem isn't the cold, but the damp. I put almost all of mine on top of our septic mound which (of course) is mostly sand so it drains well... I lift every few years to divide them.
Kaetchen - I jealous - I'm in Michigan so tubes have to come up every fall or we lose them :(
I have a connection to irises too ... most flowers "call" to me actually... peonies I have never had luck with, though.
I heart calla lilies- they grow like weeds here.
But faerie, the most gorgeous birds are in MI! Living in CA means no beautiful cardinals for me...
Ohhhhh Calla Lilies are beautiful.
I killed the callas a friend gave me a few years back -- don't know what i did wrong :-( so afraid to try again
My callas seem happiest in super-moist soil - almost boggy. I put them in front (faces east) by the tap, so they're dripped on all the time.
Kaetchen - we do have cardinals I have a nest in my arbor right now with babies in it and there is a robins nest not 10' away also with babies - go figure
Kaetchen: so cal? I LOVE the gardens around LA -- Descanso, the Arboretum, Huntington of course...
S-mama- That surprises me- you'd think the climate here and where you are would be quite similar.
that's probably what I did wrong -- they were under the eaves so didn't get water that winter....
Norcal, stidmama. Sacramento. But you've found the best things about LA! The museums and gardens are beautiful.
I haven't even tried Calla Lillies here I just know they couldn't survive the cold.
actually, the gardens, museums and the library are the only things I like about LA except my grandmother's house...
LOL Stid :)
lol I go away for a few minutes and the site is besieged by P. Allen Smith!
Completely agree, stidmama. The rest of it is, well, unfortunate.
Sacramento is lovely, too though -- enjoyed Sutter's Fort last summer when we drove through.
Nice! Napoleon's favorite animal
Too many people! I avoid people -- they carry plague you know.... not like us friendly rats and dogs :-)
Kaetchen, you live by me!!! Hi All, back for my last 28...
Have you all ever seen Lantana (not sure if is spelled correct) My mom grows them and they are beautiful.

jbp, can you clue me on the er 6? i didn't understand the clue from before
er + final word for film title Enemy at the ****
et 4? I have one of them
re 5/16 - it's the fifth word on licketies list - between re4/4 and re 6/27...
volcano, jbp
thanks jbp
hurshy, thanks.
again, i typed it in this AM, but it didn't end up on the list
oops
etart
i don't think an etart would be very filling... i'd prefer a real one
fewer calories
is there a tr word?
so, my 7mo's favorite activity - pulling herself up to the coffee table - aiee! sge'll be walking soon
and that was wierd, it typed my oops before the word...
tr 5/14, dino i mean flippy

i have the cheese and its plura, scaredness, mispelled mr. domino, and the companion.
and the costs.
i don't know how come for why my chatlog is like this.
a person can be touchy fe**y
jbp- do have not as many?
things at the end of your leg?
if you have less than you started with then you have fe5/24
thanks fmitch. had it this AM
and thanks jam!
what is the 'companion' f please?
the first fe 5/16?
abe, the companion one rhymes with the scaredy one
oh thanks jbp. i have that one...i have one missing and i cna't figure it out!
i just started playing and i don't quit understand- do the tile slats mean how many words start with that letter and how many you have out of that total, and do the word starts mean how many letters are in a word X the number in the puzzle?
fe5/16 = f + e4/4
fmitch, you did that with e4/4
thanks
FM, that is right
abe, i'm also confused as to which fes go where
jbp, you might like to read "hurshy's guide to boxes" in my profile.
Nearly there bee, yes re the tile stats, the word stats show how many words there are by the number of eltters in them. Have a look at angelsongs link under firend of babble at the bottom of the page.
Well, that is it, no fireworks, but I did get all 205
oh no
robb64, how many words do you have so far?
you don't mean boxes, you mean alphabetically
YEAH SCRAGGLY
go, scraggly! @$#@!@%^&**^&^%$!!!!!!! ( in place of fireworks)
i hate it when there is one missing
so that's happy punctuation jbp? ;)
thats me finished
hurshy (shamedly), I did, but it confused me more. I think I think differently than that. maybe after I get better at this, it will help me.
hiya all
woo hoo hannah lou!
YEAH HANNA LOU> FIREWORKS
how u all doin
thanx abe
scaredness, rhymes with rent, touch, touches, payments for services rendered, things you walk with, homonym of scaredness, pl, cheese, cheese, rhymes with wagers, french fires, less.
that's all the f's.
thanx jbp
As MrP would say if she was here "%"%"%" firewords for scraggly"%"%"%" firewords the good ole fashioned way
jam, well, it looked fireworky before I typed it. then it looked like a curseword
wait what are all these fe5/16 = f + e4/4 etc things you are typing in?
jbp - as there is only one f, my box guide has no bearing on them anyway.
jbp how u doin
I always type bloomin firewords not fireworks!!! however it seems quite appropriate somehow LOL
thanks hurshy, i've never heard fe 5/16 before..
please help with the "sacredness" clue for the fe's
fe5/16 means a 5 letter word starting with "FE" that is 16 points
not sacredness - scaredness, BGL
hurshy, that list rocked!!!
hurshy and jbp how u doin today ????????/
fine, and you hannah lou?
me good fankoooooooo are u finished hurshy
?????
hannah... slowly. i just get frustrated when I know i've typed something in earlier (b/c i write it down) but then it doesn't get counted b/c the server is funky. (I know, bitch moan bitch moan) thanks for askin, tho
yes i am finished.
kwl
i have 58 left is the short answer
jbp refresh it
hannah, have done so...many many many times
i guess i type fast, and don't pay attention to whether words I know get accepted...
sometimes even when they get accepted i think it loses them...
maybe... anyway, as always, help appreciated! ;-)
hurshy I would so agree with you there!!!!
hursh, f rhymes with wagers? can't get it.
how's about ga 4/16?
well, there is a difference between sacredness and scaredness... non wonder I couldn't figure it out! ;)
anders, think of at the track, when they say place your ****
i need in6,18 please
sorry indy, don't have it yet
ha ha ha I thought it literally rhymed with wagers!
I did too anders...
yes i do, indy...when you know something without having learned it, it's in***
jbp ga4/16 - do you mean the 5/16? if yes think ga*** Brookes? coutnry singer
thanx jdp
are all the ag 5's ag 5/14's?
but how would someone know how many points fe/16 is until they get it? ugh . i am confused
bye all
bee, there is another clue page out there someplace
faerie are you here?
bee, use the Lickety's Clues
hello again
what's a clue page?
hi boreetos, I just got back, too
:)
Bee -See the "Friends of babble" page at the bottom. Many of us *ocassionally* use the Lickety's clues to help figure out what we're missing
so, this nine and ten i've been hearing all about, any hints?
bee - go to http://licketysplitaus.googlepages.com /babbleclues
AngelSong's page explains the scoring (last link in 'Friends of Babble)
re 10/ someone who signs in someplace. or/// morning talk show host + consonant + **** and rave
9 - some of them are desperate, like bree, lynette, susan, and gabi...
thanks abe! grat clue!
thanks hurshy! great clue as well, allthough I don't watch the show, I knew what you were talking about.
fantastic clue hurshy!
any other tv clues would have to centered around Lost or the Office.
well lost is the same network, so yeah, you'd have to have seen ads :)
I don't watch tv Hurshy- any other clues?
exactly.
ho9 - women who don't work outside..
Married to the home
thanks Burke
SUE!! Are you really on, or are you just toying with my emotions??
top right t word?
boreetos, opposite of comedic, less the final consonant
desperate ho9 is a tr***-comic show
thanks stid and hurshy!
This is sad - sent hubby to the pub so that I could finish the last 16 words in peace (or in pieces). Now in the home straight - onto the t words
mmm a pub sounds nice right now.
Oooh - I lied - still missing two se words...
wow...that's devotion matty!
That's kinda pathetic, isn't it. Just a few more words and I'm free. I need the se 4/4 that comes after a wise man or fortune teller...
que ****, ****
se4 to burn?
oh, i guess i was missing that one too. :)
nice hurshy
No fireworks today??? actually the stats gird showed an i word missing which was in my word list, or did nobody get fireworks today???
i didn't inge
Got that one (the one meaning to cook the outside...)
Fireworks are busted today apparently
oh is that what it means? ;)
Hurshy should I report these idiocyncracies to Dr. G? By now he must know about all possible variations of the gremlin
i would think he would know, inge...but i don't know. up to you.
matty, did you see my clue? it's also the plural of a liquid... like an antidote, that sort of thing.
thanks fmitch for mr. brooks...
done... sigh.. no fireworks..
woo hoo burke!!
yeah burke
Nope - not seen that one - oooh - let me try that...
Of course. Now just the 5/10 after that, and that reallyh will be the s words done...
i keep having to close and re-login
as much as i'd love to give hints.. its already past 3 am here... i'd gotta get some sleep... have fun babbling =)
Got it. Have fun Burke - see you soon!
add another vowel matty
bye burke!
YAY burke
any clues on ga 6/24?
a belt or a snake, jbp
unless you mean the secont one which is more ga4/6
Specifically, a belt you might wear on your wedding day to hold your stockings up - ideally sexy
i need sl4,8 and sl5,16
please
A whole lotta things.
the 4 is killed or a whole bunch of, the 5 is bunches of
slear
do think about the point values, it will help.
sry it ment to say thanx typed in the wrong box
i got the ga 6/24 that's belty or snakelike, but don't get the other clue...more ga4/6?
jbp have you got ga 4/6 right after ga 5/16
Think of a word that means to kill, but sounds like the sled on which you put bells (there's a christmas song about it), then put it in the past tense
just change the 3rd letter :p
One of the ga 4/6 words -- add the comparative ending
not the entranceway ga4/6, but before that.
hursh, like the garden door?
no, i don't have that one.
no before that jbp there is another one.
well find that, and then make it more. :)
got it.
thanks!!
are all 6 ag 5's 5/14's?
there are only five of them, but yes they are all 5/14.
ty
there are 6 ag5,14's
nope just 5 i mistaked an ae for an ag
sry
ge 4/6 the last one?
yeah someone else must've done that before too cause as a result i spent half an hour looking for a non-existent ag5.
never mind, rhymes w/ cheese
lol
jbp - i gives a clue, i hopes you **** it.
i have 2 ag 4's, should i have more?
yep, i thought i had it, but didn't, but now I do. this is what happens when there are too many length/poins all in a role row, i mean
yep, i thought i had it, but didn't, but now I do. this is what happens when there are too many length/poins all in a role
no that's all abe.
thanks hurshy, i'm missing one a and it's driving me bananas
i'm a real go ge** that way

Scratch that -- I can't spell two letter words, I meant 2 an's
thanks hursh...again, on this list from the AM
i have the ans, i have the ags', i have one a ae and one as
Just two more left - te5/10 and te5/14...
Nope - three left - te6/18 as well
abe 2 ar 4/4
i ahve those, miraculously, hurshy :)
te 5/10 like se 5/10
matty, nyeh nyeh ne neh neh!
for the te 5 and 6
te 5/14 anagram of what you do to parm cheese to put it on your pasta
well then abe you need an ar, either a plural fish or a singular fish.
dang those fish!
hurshy, i don't get it for the te 5
so i should have 7 ar total.. cool
Really, hurshy? Do you do the same to yours I do to mine - are we talking about the same thing?
OK, got that one - two left - te6/18 and te5/14...the pint is calling me!
i don't see what else you can do with parm cheese...
matty/hurshy...huh?
Sorry - that was me being dense.
sprinkle?
matty the 6/18 is pl
jbp - also anagram of better than good, like tony the tiger would say.
oh, i get it!!!! thanks hursh!
Doesn't work - really, it doesn't...
Can someone help me with ho9
Think of the cheese in its block form
te 5/10 is like se 5/10 except first letter jbp - what's not to get?
Please :)
LOL ...jbp......hello everyone :)
matty look for the other a
ho9 some of them are desperate, like bree, lynette, gabi, and susan...
karys...glad you like it. ;-)

I can't believe I missed that
Thanks, hurshy
I'm stumped on the re 10 / 84
wow...that was pathetic...I had to write down the 6 possible anagrams before I found it in the puzzle!!!
Hi Everyone... does anyone know what happened to the fireworks? I just finished the grid, and, even after refreshing... sniff.. no fireworks..
Chasing: Someone that signed up
re10......someone who signs up for something ( I think)
re10, one who signs up for a contest, or on a website, or for classes at college...
HURRAH - no fireworks, but nevertheless, I can go drink.
Where do you all see the help on the site for finding words (e.g. te5/10, te6/18, etc.) I just signed up for the babble pro but I don't see what you all see.
enjoy, mattygroves
hooray for matty!
Beeeerrrr....beeerrr.....
drink one for me matty
markytom: http://licketysplitaus.googlepages.com /babbleclues
i don't know if I've found the right one, hursh, but that's ok. ;-)
well done matty !!!!!!
markytom, go to lickety's clues or angelsong's or hurshy's at the bottom of the page
Markytom - Lickety's Babble Clues - hit that link on the bottom
tegrae
thanks. don't have it yet but it should hit me like a tons of bricks in a second
um, there's no hurshy's
Nighty night all! (Beeerr....)
goodnight matty
jbp, there are two, one is what siblings do to each other, the other is the one i was cluing.
k, thanks hursh.
Thanks
and there are 2 se 5/10, one is a pl, the other is the one i was referring to in my te5 clue
AHA. Yep. There's that ton of bricks
i think i have to go rest for a minute...
i don't even know what I *don't* have... lol
Hi all - I have entered some words w. caps on and although show on list these are not counting on the Tile Stats box - has anyone noticed this??
hurshy -- can you give me a clue to eh se 5/10 that's *not* a plural
Lynxx, try refreshing.
Sorry, missed one of your x's
Jamsicle, se 5/10 is a harem or inn
thx Arb
thanks ARB
is there another se5/10, ARB?
Yes, there is another se 5/10 which is a plural of the se 4/4 before it
I have two re 4/4 and no matter what I try, I'm not getting the third. Am I missing something?
clue for that se 4/4, arb?
I must be blind or clueless - need help with LI 7/28 and LI 6/18 (not the strip or stripe)
se 4/4 to close the eyes of a falcon
to se*** the deal (just spelled diferently :p)
got it, jam. thx!
coral re** - undersea environment.
how many eu's and ews?
Both li words come out of the li r/4. the li 7 is the plural
re4/4 - dance or stagger , re4/4 double the vowel and pluralise, re4/4 anagram of rise
Thanks!
Two ew words only.
No eu's. 2 ew's
thanks haz
hi everyone
no fireworks today?
Sadly, no
I hope they get those fireworks fixed quickly :p

Our first died when he was two, so we have three here. But hubby remembers each of those four pregnancies.
i have 76 left - refusing to use list, but getting kinda stumped here
Hey, Kaetchen!
ag*** - ag + permit to do something
wow, so sorry smithchick. that's horrible
I've got 27 with no list. You can do it, helen!

"go into the list helen... go into the list..."
"all are welcome... all are welcome"
E=mc2
kaetchen, le is actually a specialist in the law
It was, but it's been 15 years and time really does help a lot.
Hi Fran! Hi smithchick! Seriously, 27 with no list? I usually make it about halfway before listing...
smith...sorry to hear that. I imagine three keeps you busy as well.
my worst nightmare.
oooh smith - i just read what you wrote - that's so sad - i'm so sorry for you
Bless you, jeffer! That did the trick.
smith...we're sending helen mixed messages :)
i just had to reload, connection error thing
jeffer, I have 3 of them and still missing two AG 5/14
smitchick, it has happened to me also and it was very tragic but time does heal somewhat
even after 15 years I would still think it would be very hard
I've been getting better and better. I've not used the list in a couple of weeks. I've been doing them since August though. Thanks everybody.

How long has it been Annie?
I love nrkii!
20 years
My religious beliefs helped me alot to get through it.
yes, time does heal - but time, well, it just takes time (how profound was that!)
yes that does help.
we get through it because we get through it, etc.
More help please... li 5/14 and 6/24? I assume they're related.
It sneaks up on you every once in a while, and hurts just as much, but then it fades again. Talking about it has always helped me.
I'm off to the markey. Anyone need anything?
the li5/14 is mentioned in Napoleon Dynamite
thanks smith!
milk, catfood
It's an animal YW, nrkii

Smithchick: the ho/9 is the singular of "Desperate Ho..." (Ahem, no pun intended.)
ho/9 domestic goddess
She liked part of it, but was very unhappy with the schools. She has a special needs child, and they were definitely equipped to deal with him. They were totally lacking in compassion. I went and visited her last summer, and thought it was beautiful. We dove, and snorkeled. Gorgeous.

evening all, just starting now!
Most teachers are. I volunteer at my kids' schools a lot and I think most teachers are awesome. Every once in a while though, there will be one who has no business in education working with children that he/she obviously can't stand. Fortunately, that isn't the norm. I love teachers!
hey there feather
kaetchen, ty for the clue, but my list was messed. got it now tho
hi feather!
thanks nrkii!
hey featherbee! here for clues if you need them
Hey, feather!
k, gonna work on my own first, but i'll let ya know, don't worry!
how about the ra 6/18? the one right after the 4/4 that rhymes with haze? Anyone please?
no te7 for me btw...someone asked for it so I'm letting them know I'm not ignoring them ;)
i always loved my teachers, but my sister had one that slammed a book down in front of her and was just nasty!
i used to do research in the chicago public schools & spent alot, alot of time in the teachers lounges - i was amazed at how dedicated they were, but out in the classroom, they have to be disciplinarians & the caring doesn't always have time to show through
oops, someone took care of it
hiya feather :)
kristin, sounds like not slower
hiya :)

jeffer, country crooner Brooks
I agree that teachers have to be strict, but you don't ever tell a kid who is deaf, has learning disabilities, ADHD, and is vision impaired that the music he is making is awful and should be shut up. That's just cruel.
not putting in my words now
oh that brooks! looking for meandering water. thanks all!
i agree smith
Especially when he is very emotionally immature.
I'll stop that ra**. I have to have about one ra** a day.:)

hi nrkii!
hey nrkii
any clues on th gl 7? Thanks
I'm just dropping in to see if I can be of any help.

mad, it rhymes with something you get on your foot from wearing tight shoes
but of course! abe just retired from cluing.... I'm in the r's, but using the list, so I'll just asked when FRUSTRATED :)
Thanks got it.
stid, there are 4 ar's from that bottom A
and they are all very very similar
okay, will look brb
start with same three letters, and make them sound the same
How about the first ga 6?
I have finished
way to go scatty
yay for scatty!
YAY scatty! what time did Jason get home? was he okay? was U okay?

Thanks again nrkii, got that off to my e's
nrkii, the program isn't taking my guesses!
Hullo Stid. I'm not able to play today, but I've been glancing at the log from time to time to see whether you're around.. . hope you are coping with the alien keyboard and chair and maintaining your cheerful disposition--also that your back id holding up.ees to me from the chjat that this is a good grid to have missed! LOL
i can't find any ar from bottom except one that ends in opp of no
anders, someone who makes you embarrassed
te 6/ 18 - spoiler for a TV show
if you have the te5/10, plural it
hey hetty, good to see you
hi hetty!
AR + what fish breathes with minus one of the double letters
got 2 5/10s, have pluralled one, no can do for the other one
the er 6 24 anyone, please and thankyou
Deef, what are you looking for
Hi Hetty
the other three ARs all sound similar
I am glad J got home safely scatty. :-) Hope he had a good time.
abe, aren't you glad we were playing yesterday with fake words
er 6 24 = big scandal in Nixon era, minus the first three letters
nrkii, hollu to you too...and you scatty, whose bad experience wit scoring cheered me up enormously. I won't hinder--just wanted to register my continuing love
anders, don't plural it, make it someone who does te 5/10
going to reboot and see if that lets these words through... hetty my back is okay today, I planted four geraniums and life is good. You?
scatty what happened?
hetty, you are NEVER a hinderance, but a lovely soul!
Thanks, anders got it
i'm back! who needs clues
hi hetty!
hetty, stay and chat for a while, throw out fake clues just to confuse everyone
when, hettys grid wouldn't register some of her words
got that one, it's apparently another one
Hi fran
nrkii, the ar + what fish breathe with I have... what is the other please?
LOL, nrkii!!
only 2 te 6/18's anders
you be careful stid, it won't do you any good planting if your back hurts, you are using alot of muscles when planting
by the way everyone, i don't worship william hung, just never got around to changing my icon since 15 minutes of fame day!
hi missyem
stid, keep same first letters, drop 4th, keep 5th and then add second vowel to end
or use what you do with listerine, and drop the G
help with the ea 6 18 please
I only did the four geraniums, and a tiny bit of weeding... honest!
mad, more simple
mad, don't ask for anything HARDER
okay, trying it...
I'll stay and chat, since you are all so kind, but fake clues are beyond me. The only word I can see on the grid is "stage" so I'll try to stage a comeback tomorrow
finished! yay.... but no fireworks...not a paying user
*needs a job*
benda, no one is getting fireworks right now, it's broken
bendamalina, I didn't get fireworks today either (several of us didn't)

top right corner t anyone?
scatty, that's the er, no?
thx, franmag :)
stid the first of second te 6
deef, it's really really sad, but cut the last letter
thanks fran, working on it...
deef, starts like very sad, but no C, tr***c
anybody know what half of these weird little words mean?
In chat mode, Stid, I have also planted geraniums, though only two, in pots at our front door. Mostly we try to keep our garden as wild as possible, since we have inherited a Gary Oak meadow
seems there's a lot of obscure stuff
do you have te 6/18: te+ what a cheerleader says (** ** **, sis boom bah) + form of 'to be'
sigh. thx
got them fran, thanks!
always, Liora! that's half teh craziness!
benda had a good clue also
sorry, ea+not hard
yw stid
ae anyone? thanks
(errr... I mean fun ....I think)
ae is the shield that carried medusa's head
mad, sounds like tv host Philbin
bend, are you singing "Ta ra ra BOOMdeay, (did you get yours today?). tut tut
does anyone have the ea6?
ea, = same three letters, two vowels and a hook
ls1, more simple
a meadow with oak, how lovely! Does camas grow there? I want to plant some next year and see if it'll take this time (didn't last time because Tom mowed it...)
eaterj
errr.......i think i'm a bit lost, hetty...what did i get today?
ea6 = not harder
I need just one more R and one more L
the ea is the same meaning as above it but has two vowels and a hook on the end of it
go stid!
yeah, it's pretty simple
fran and scatty - thanks
returned too fast... and then 20 more.... :-)
nrkii, i couldn't think of the hardER, i just said hard
go stidmama!
which ones
oh I was wrong -- I still have another three R from the right, too!
who wants hints?
do you have the ra6, shouter
do you guys print Lickety's list?
One R on the bottom... three from the right... and I am going to move to the other computer to save my spine... brb
Yes, we have camus, both the blue and the white.. . and ponds for the ravens and the deer, and all kinds of delicate wildflowers--we are high enough up to have a kind of alpine meadow as well as the Gary Oaks and arbutus
No Liora...I use Firefox, so I just switch between tabs
i try to get to at least half before going for the list
liora, i flip back and forth between the two tabs in firefox
I have one left and I have no idea what it is. off to look for it.
good idea
hi featherbee
hi scatty
i try to get as many as I can without going crazy before using lickety's list :D
i've been here, just working on whittling down my list before i ask for help
down to 59
That's a record, I think. I actually typed a message wthout a single slipped finger. Must be because I'm not frantically seeking or giving clues!
stading by featherbee!
I am back...
lol, thanks fran! hi stid!
do you have the ra 5/10 that sounds like an Indian surname
hey stid how's it looking now?
ok...i'm going to go play actual babble with a friend of mine...anyone want a hint before i go?
Can anybody give help with the O's?
Hetty, it sounds really lovely. We have madrona, and I have planted an arbuts unedo twice, but once a bulldozer ate it, and then last summer the replacement didn't get enough water...
are you sitting more comfortably
what does a arbuts unedo look like
Stid, since you've moved to the "other" computer I guess the hard drive is fixed? I'm glad for you if it is.
liora, both OW 4's
yes scatty -ma'am...
I have the debtor one, not the other
o's = a night bird, missing thel
no, not fixed, but Tom got it working in Linux without it making a lot of noise. So....
change order of last two letters
are you listless today, stid?
liora, the other o is an anagram of that one
sorry, i was meant to say missing the L
kind of sounds like a dwelling without the H
thanks, franmag!
atty... finish it ..then I'll begin". Don't tell me you are old enough to have heard "LIsten with Mother"?
scatty -- I don't have the ra 5/10 you just referred to...
yes benda, listless...
just a sec, gotta refresh again...
stid, rodent + end of hot**, vacation place
ow+ vowel+snake, and the other one you change the last two letters around
brb folks, baby wants her bottle and nap now
did you get the clue of not, sounds like Patel)
ok, i'm off to go visit my friend. Night all, and good luck
scatty and Fran, thanks. that was two, now down to 20 words, one r from each.
night benda!
have fun benda!
why has babble started having soooo many problems, i'm getting fed up of refreshing every hour, sometimes every few mins if its busy
does anyone have a clue for l1 6/24 and le 6/24 please. i'm getting near the end and would like to finish.
night benda, see you tomorrow
can anyone help with the re 5/18 and the re 6/30 from the bottom of the list
did you get the plural as well stid
debbin - bottom re 5/18 is beating someone again
yes scatty, I did.
if you are caught in the rain you get re5
plus the plural
i got the rain one
oooh
can someone give me the o word from the top left o, that is not someone that is in debts and ow** someone money
I have 17 ra, 26 re
scatty, 've looked at your profile, and no way did you "listen with Mother". So "Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin"ust have entered British folklore, like "Good night children (beat, beat) everywhere"
magzel, le 6/24 is what you stand on plus profession ending (a painter is an art***, a cello player is a cell***)
DONE!!!
YAYAYAYAY Mad!!
hint for ho9,108?
YAY mad!
wow, I didn't know qwerty was an actual word.
Liora, I don't work outside the home, I am a ho 9...
yay mad!!!
wee, got the ho9 on my own
argh. thanks stidmama
My babbling has turned into prattling, so I'm off. See you later
lol, and just now see the clues for it
sorry, not related to the puzzle. ;)
sorry, not related to the puzzle. ;)
hetty -- drop by later to chat?
stid, can you give me the 2nd o word from left side 2nd row?
bye hetty
I liked Hectors House the best at 5-20pm, just before Crossroads, and my best reading material was Jack and Jill
good night hetty!
night hetty!
bye hetty, see you later
thanks for the clue nrkii. i got that word. how about the li6/24?
Sure. When you've had your fireworks. Meantime goodnight, children , beat beat everywhere.
li + what you close when you leave the garden
ow cons + 2nd vowel
the second o word, change the last two letters around
ho 4, 12?

what do you need stidmama
scatty! you are the first person who has asked when I've been on... he felt misunderstood, and hasn't babbled in a couple weeks...
same three letters ? isn't that 4/9?
gotta go, I'll check back later
bye mad, later!
bye mad!
got em all - but no fireworks - but thanks so much for all the help
yay debbinla!
YAY debbinla! ***fireworks***
you are joking, he's really nice, i will have to e-mail him and try to get him babbling again
FIREWORKS FOR DEBBINLA!!!! ******* !!!!!
I think he would really appreciate that -- it's hard for him to let things blow over, I think.
any hints on the re 10?
liora, ho4/12 doesn't seem like a real word but there is only one combination of letters that makes the points
liora, there is a ho5/20 the the ho4/12 which i have given you a clue for, the first three letters are the same + letter after e
re 10 is person who has signed up for something such as a class
I was wondering about Mikey, too. I don't know him, but he was so often on.... were his feelings hurt?
yay for Debbinla
re 10 is a person who signs up for something.. starts with TV host Re*** philbin and end in the top right corner
thanks, guys. Newbie here, and still trying to figure this and the list/points out
Yes, missyem, his feelings were quite bruised! someone commented about some of us writing in German.... and he took it really hard.
thanks - I was spelling it incorrectly
thanks - I was spelling it incorrectly
dont worry, you'll catch on real soon, i have only been here for about a week
Liora, any time! Ask away!
no prob liora, once you figure out how the points work it gets ea6/18
stid, a few weeks ago when he was getting lectured about the way he spoke German, for christ sake, its his main language, that went on for hours, i turned off in th end, but for days we had French, Dutch, German etc
cute, FranMag...thanks for that one, too!
wha???? so WHAT? Just because this game is in English doesn't mean we all speak English!! What is his email, I'll email him & tell him he's missed, maybe even in pigeon Deutsch....
hmm, help on the LIs? I have the 5/14 and 4/4, but don't know where else to go from there
got the last R from the right... now need just one more R from the bottom and a few more...
whoever has a problem with communicating via the chat in WHATEVER language, unless it's porno :), should be kicked off!!!
YES PLEASE, scatty and missyem, that is what I keep telling him, but he feels a wall is now between him and some of his Babble friends...
feather, li6/24 means to take something before a court
how do I reach him?
li5/14 is a mix between two large cats
it was someone lecturing him on his spelling and teling him it was wrong, this person wouldn't let it drop either, they were winding everyone up
li 6/18 and li 7/28 all go off the li4/4, lickety's li**
Missyem, I don't know which email he is using right now... you could try his yahoo address which is the same as his Babble screen name MikeyinBerlin... that's also his IM address for yahoo or MSN
li 6/18 is the person making the li**
ooo, didn't think of working off that 4/4
got em both
i'm English and my spelling is horrendous, i have to keep a dictionary next to me so that i don't look like an idiot when i'm writint things in the grid
featherbee, glad you're here! that little otter always makes me smile.
hee
oh, i didn't see there were two 5/14s...i need the top one
I have MSN IM, too, mich_pdx@hotmail.com... Thx, Stid, I'll try them
i will have a look and see whch one i have, be back in a min
I don't know who mikey is, but I agree with you all. Bring him back.
scatty, me too! and there are enough of us with sufficient multi-lingual skills to make sure anything in non-English isn't offensive or derogatory...
debbinla, if you're still on, I'm sorry I missed your fireworks -- family phone call
starts like the other 5/14, but ends like this **d that
if you don't know who mikey is, nrkii, you can always read the chat logs from earlier days.
the only thing I'd ask is that you all don't talk about me in German, because I won't know what you're saying! :)
hurshy!!!
thanks so much fran! those were stumping me for some reason
I had others playing your game earlier.
hello, nrkii
brb, poopy diaper time!

missyem can i add you to my e-mail adress
hi hurshy!
hehe, i didn't know there WERE high-heeled moccasins!
hi stid.

the ending might mean east Germany
excellent, I'll send it there, thanks scatty...... hurshy, you feel strongly about this?
hurshy, from 2 weeks ago, or so you mean?
WHAT AM I MISSING!
ooo...
no -- he's in Berlin.... no east Germany.
someone repaired the intercom
i feel strongly that people should get information first hand about things, whether in the real world or the virtual one.
i don't think that anyone should feel so put out that they leave the chat log
noblelover, I missed you yesterday!
what are we talking about people
dear lord, what happened?
they're discussing why MikeyInBerlin isn't on lately
when it comes to feelings, there is no should or should not, people feel how they feel.
was hurshy telling jokes again?
oh..
we all come onto the chat log to make friends and chatter and occassionally ask for clues
hurshy, I'm willing to read the log before telling Mikey that I believe in freedom of speech, in ANY language -- can you clue me as to when this happened?
second day i came
what day was that, noble?
um...
yea...
I was newer then too noble, i thought it was a troll being bothersome at the time
*cough*
i think
it was a sunday
the things people are referring to right now took place over the course of two days, i think it was a tuesday and a wednesday.
hey... im not that trollish am i?
in the morning
about two weeks ago, then? Tues / Weds or a Sunday?
gosh, it's so hard to keep days straight! but firefox has a feature where you can search for a term in a page, so if you put in "mikey" you can see if he was there.
i don't know if other browsers have that as well.
yupers
ctrl+f
no noble, not a troll are you :)
noblelover, if you join us we will be able to see for ourselves if you look like a troll or not, i think the mini trolls are really cute
not a troll noble, just overenthusiastic sometimes
noblelover... sometimes if people don't know you're joking... and not all people are able to joke the same way you do. BUT that doesn't make you a troll any more than it makes me a grandma!
the force is strong in this one
ok, I'm off to search, brb
i just think that so much gets said in this chat log - i am here a LOT so i see a lot of it, and some people don't see as much and maybe don't get the whole story on things.
your a grandma?
personally, the loud intercom gets a little annoying, so when you do that I just turn off my "ears"
im just puting it out there.....
no dear, she's saying she's NOT a grandma.
Asking a question really
LOL no, dear, but I have children close to your age!
fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to....suffering
its really important to me...
18 words left to go have I, help please anyone?
stid can i add you to my msn
WHO FIXED THE INTERCOME?
what do you need stidmama
noblelover -- you are learning, as are we all, the limitations of internet chat.

Good evening all -- just checking in to say hi and let those who haven't already heard know that swmbo was able to post the new pics for me :)

I've still got 14 words to go.

Matthew -- that question is a little personal -- think: do you know who just asked your age?
noble my brain froze a while back
yes smith, only one
nrkii, which PA line? I'm in NY, near the PA border
mmmm....... peanuts....
scatty -- we are working on internet safety with the boys...

chrissie, it's the plural of the one before it
did you pluralize you LI6 stid?
is that near easton? my brother in law is in that area...philipsburg NJ actually
okay, so I need an li. I have one each li 5 and li 4 -- I have all possible 6 and 7s...
stidmama, li numbers,li 5/14, 6/24, 5/14, 4/4, 6/18, 7/28, 6/18

i'd like someone to use the ho4/12 in a sentence...what a weird word
Thanks
i need the first li 5/14!
firefly, i know, and i tried to click the ? to see what it was, and nothing
the ho4/12 burft into flamef
stidmama, when i asked your son how old he was i thought he was alot older, sorry for asking
yeah...nothing - why don't the ? take us to the official dictionary? just wondering
li 5/14, li+what food comes in, but change C to another consonant
feather, looks like easton is north of me, about an hour drive but a winding route, so maybe not too far if I were a crow
lol hurshy
ROFLMAO hurshy
that's okay scatty! that's why this is a perfect place for him, because I can be online when he is and help him learn how to respond appropriately. Your question was perfectly timed to go along with some family discussions we're having... :-)
li +when you start you be*** change the second to last letter to the 1st vowel
lol hurshy
hurshy :)
did you get that or did i confuse you
ty scatty! that made sense!
NOT a normal word!
whats next back to the r's or have you finished them
how about, "I ate too much chocolate and ro**ed."
done with R, could use two more T
a clue fo re 6/27 please. it's my last word.
there is a ts4

I have only three ta... and then 10 te plus the others you just mentioned scatty
ack! My head is bending...
stid do you have the 7 letter T word?
hello folks, anyone have the er6?
yes, I have the 7
er+ entranceway
hi LeslieAnn!
Hello everyone!
hi leslie - er + garden entrance
te's, 4/4, 7/36, 4/4, 5/10. 6/18, 4/4, 4/6, 4/4, 5/10, 6/18, 5/14

thnaks, i got the word but no fireworks. very disappointing after all that hard looking.
*****************
they're broken today
nobody is getting fireworks today
magzel gets *~*~*~FIREWORKS!~*~*~*
its turning into another party -- we just need Smeltz to show up now! :D
except from us
************ **MAGZEL* ************
yay magzel!! !!!!!*****!!!!!
%%%%%%%%%%%%FIREWORKS%%%%%%%%%%%%
can you work out whether you have anything missing from the list
it was too wet and the fireworks all fizzled...
oh bless
%***%***%FIREWORKS%***%***%
yay nrkii!
yay magzel!
no fireworks? this is serious.
yay nrkii!!!!
yay firefly! wow, lots at once
I have been listless all day scatty...
buy indoor one's next, they smoke a bit though
yes, quite anticlimatic
stid, the numbers i have just written down for you
not to mention freak out the cats
my chat log is acting up again... think dr-g is changing code?
no no no, I was giving them out, i didn't get them yet -still 30 words away, but fading
one to go! it's that confounding te 6/18. I've got the one that ends in is and the one that means someone who's promising, but not delivering.
stidmama - not saying his age is all very well, but the trouble is, other than ONE kid i've met on babble, i can tell who the kids are within half an hour of chat. greeting people with "sup", for instance, is kind of a teenager trademark. i doubt there is any way to prevent people from noticing he's a kid, esp. if that is what they are looking for. the key is for him not to give out any other personal info, i think, and to beware of anyone who makes suggestive comments, etc.... not that you asked for my two cents on the matter...
oh, oops
Cats love fireworks ..
scatty, I see them! just a sec...
my father, who is an expert in all things fireworky, would say, "whatever you do, don't buy american-made fireworks" (this from a man who won't approve of purchasing a non-american car)
it's the last te, the 5/14
The best are Chinese ..
anders the last one is a plural for the one above it
fe 4,8 anyone?
i like the fireworks on the Indian reservations myself... and no prob featherbee! :)
my father would like you tor, you are a sensible person
are there any words with qu in them?
te5 the first three latters are the same+ letter after f+1st vowel
no qu words
Mostly ..
how's things tor?
chrissie, like an unborn child minus the middle letter
hurshy, you are absolutely right! and I agree. but recent news releases have been talking about how giving out a birthdate or exact age/grade/school have led to abductions.... so we are trying to get him to not divulge that (and I am trying very hard to remember it myself!)
the q isn't used at all
Things are fairly good, hursh ..
I got that, i need the 8 point one
anders, i think you have both the 6/18s
Good policy stidm ..
stid, nowadays all you have to say is, i.e ,you are leaving schol or going to college and they can work out exactly how old you are
stidmama, the world has gotten scarier I think
I got that one now! but still missing a t? just a sec, refreshing...
heck, i'm an adult and i'm fairly paranoid about making even my email address known.
I'm back, just yahoo'd video chatted with my husband, who's at a conference in Toronto.
chrissie, that was the 8 point one
Even the cat got to wave hello!
I'm with you, hurshy ..
there are some good internet sites out there about online safety for kids (tho you probably already have looked at them!)
nice jb, and hurshy, ABSOLUTELY
chrissie, take out a different letter
chrissie, fe + abbr for country i live in
any about online safety for adults?
Did I miss anything, hursh? Except for GWoulf, seems like he left already.
just google internet safety kids and see what you find
I think the same rules really apply to everyone, but we're less likely to be "bullied" into leaving with someone we don't know...
we keep the computer in the living room so that we can keep an eye on whats happening, if its in my sons room, i wouldn't be able to keep an eye on him, i think laptops are a problem as you cam take them anywhere, bathroom etc and we might not have noticed
I think he took the keys to the jacuzzi....
did you find it stidmama
I'm here just feeding Seb
Oh!! Thanks guys, I was looking to the right, not the left
brb, baby fussing
my 7 year old inadvertently found some hardcore porn sites... iw as traumatized more than him...
*tosses keys to JB* -- Catch!!
jb's talking smack, gw! said you have keys to the hot tub!
We limit his access to the internet... but I admit his computer is in his room because he really does need it for homework.
jb - i'm the wrong one to ask about happenings at the moment - my head hurts and i'm tired. i think i'll call it a night, actually. see y'all later.
scatty, I saw a news blurb about a mom who disguised herself online as a 15yo, and her teenage son chatted her up not knowing it was her. Not good..
there are also kid safe browsers that you can install, tho i haven't used them
good night hursh!
night hurshy
i think i copied your icon
bye hurshy!
my friend is always talking to her kids about strangers, her eldest is 12, but if someone said have a quick look in that garden at the pups he would go over and look still
hurshy -- I hope you will be okay, sleep well and see you tomorrow.
'night, hursh, hope you feel better soon!
again
night hurshy!
I seem to be still missing on T...
stid, scatty, hurshy.... that archive is hell on my brand new dell -- crashed MANY times, but found the incident, I believe, from 5/9 where Mikey was taunted for the german and then 5/10 he refused to answer simple questions like "wie gehts?"
it's a fine balance between paranoia and teaching your kids to be safe and i never know which side i am on... lol
tosses the keys to...FranMag - catch! I can't play in the jacuzzi tonight, I have to go finish my work. I was out sick today, and have to be ready for our big inspection on wednesday, so I'm going in tomorrow.
G'nite, hurshy-poo!
how many ta?
stid i have all the t's! still missing 55, but have the t's... do you know the length?
yes missyem, that was the incident!
listless, LeslieAnn...
Fran tosses to stid, feeding baby right now!
3 ta stid
wow, down to 11...i must say this grid, even though a little big, is easier than some others
Torgone! Good to see the ol' bubblehead!
i've been doing it with minimal clues, 'cept for those pesky LIs
all ta 4
Got the keys! heading for the hot tub! good thing I have a swimsuit under my jammies!!!!
LOL, stidmama, so are we!!!
stid, throw me the keys - you're one word away!
Heya JB!
join you all later!
jb!!
I feel informed now, and have to start my email to Mikey **all over again*** because I lost it in the crash, so I'm off to yahoo land. See you all in the hottub
oooo, someone say hot tub?
stid, do you have 12 te's?
wait for me, the temperature better be on high, i could do with a nice hot soak, can i add some bubbles
I have the ta then... and must be missing one te. I have 4/4 7 4/4
ok
Okay, I need to concentrate to get 7 more words to get to a halfway point, and then I MUST go. Don't wanna. Haveta, tho.
lol scatty, that reminds me of my mom telling me when she was at a B&B, with a jacuzzi in the room, added bubble bath to it, foam all over the place!!!!
then te 5/10, 6/18, 4/4, 4/6, 4/4 5/10, 6/18 and 5/14
LeslieAnn, Tor's got a big bubble, make sure he gets in!
did you get the one i gave the clue for a min ago or did you miss it stid
4 4 7 36 4 4 5 10 6 18 4 4 4 6 4 4 5 10 6 18 5 14 4 8
Done! And no fireworks. Well, those fireworks are pretty lame, anyway. After finding all those words, you should be rewarded with something grand!
stid you're missing a teeny tiny te 4/8
hmmm. I lost everything in the crash of 9:34?
well done anders, fireworks
congrats anders!
stidmama - you need te4/8 - rhymes with church banches.
FIREWORKS for anders!!!!!
^*^*^*^*^FIREWORKS^*^*^*^*^ for anders
LeslieAnn, Dianne, nrkii, scatty, that was it.... no more T
uh - benches
YAY anders! *********FIREWORKS*******
FIREWORKS FOR STID?
%***%***%FIREWORKS for anders%***%***%
you guys are nice. What do you get when you upgrade?
do you feel better now that you have had your fireworks anders
no, 15 to go for me...
stid, did you get your words back
anders - chocolate! (kidding)
anders, the little icon, a bigger profile, and the stats so you can see how many words start from each tile
okay, put the fireworks back in the box (had to cut the wick a bit but we're okay)
anders you get US
do you think it's worth it?
you get an icon of your choosing, and a profile section... but wait, don't order yet -- you also get the satisfaction of knowing you help support a site that keeps so many of us off the streets! LOL
Go pro, anders, it's worth it. I started in October 05, went pro in December, much better!
yeah, she's kidding - that chick gives out chocolate like it's going out of style!
anders - it is well worth it.
LOL, stidmama!
whaich letters are still showing stidmama
it's totally worth it anders, you get to have a face! no more gray alien
Choclote will NEVER go out of style, LeslieAnn!
much more fun to play with the tile stats
anders -- I gave my mother pro status as a mother's day gift and she was very appreciative -- so yes it is worth it!!
Just watch the Food Network!!
i need two more W, five F, 5 E and 3 G
ha ha ha, okay will consider it. The only reason I'm hesitating is because this game is way too addictive.
Great present, G!
chocolate is always in good taste... :-)
i know, but every time i see you, you're throwing it around somewhere! ;)
GW - going pro was MY mother's day gift from my hubby!
you get a face and male/female icon
that's a cute idea, gw
Anders, just came back to see you being welcomed into our supergroup of caring babblers. Welcome from me too. Hope to see you--and play with you? tomorrow
going pro was my mother's day gift to myself!
hetty -- where were you when I needed the last te? it rhymes with your last name!
stidmama - do you have wh4/9?
<grin> I can be VERY generous with virtual chocolate!!!
I will play tomorrow, because it's the weekend and I can't get fired for spending a day searching for words.
hetty, have you yken anything for your headache
my mother's day gift to my mom was keeping her away from babble so she wouldn't get addicted like me
yes, I have that one Dianne. I have 8 we -- 7 are 4, one 5 and two wi
that's also a good gift, nrkii ;)
stid, there is a we4/8, 5/16 combo that sounds like a grain, but spelled with double vowels
husband and wi(plural0
those were my missing W FRan, thanks!
do you have the plural of a married woman?
Sorry, Stid, I was filling up bird feeders and clearing up from dinner. Maybe I'll make good on the "clews" tomorrow.
anybody need clues before I go watch the hockey game?
ready to tackle hte F words?
we +hook+vowel again
stidmama - there are 2 we5s - both are plurals. What's the piont value of the we5 that you have?
yes, but my mother taught me not to sw5/10
for some reason i can't find an sw 5/18. i have curse, and chocolate
done with W now scatty...
4 left!!!!! these are flying by!
we+ letter after e+crossed letter and the plural
or sw5/18 eaven
try a variation on the curse leslie
You're learning, L.Ann!
lol jb
I would like to finish the F before I take a break... I have fe x 8: five 4 and three 5
go featherbee go!
oh thanks nrkii
sw, bad language, but with two vowels the same in the middle leslieAnn
leslie, it's a strange word, it's got a double vowel in the middle
Scatty, thanks love, I'm over my headache. Still grumbly about the lost scores though.
Matthew are you still playing?
stid, do you have the two FEs that are unborn baby minus different letters?
hmm, think cheese for those fe's, too.
stid, fe 4 = 8
fe 5 = 5
((scatty, stidmama)) Posted an email to Mikey
fe's4/7 5/16 4/7 5/16 4/7 4/7 4/7 5/1 6 4/7 5/16 4/7 4/8

Way to go, Featherbee. And I feel bad about Mikey too. Anyone in touch with him?
ra4/5 rhymes with the room the tub is in.
good one dianne!
that wasn't my question, scatty
While stid is on the last word quest, would someone oblige with a clue for the in6? And I prefer a CHOCOLATE fish, please, for asking!
we just had a conversation about him. I am still in touch. His feelings were very bruised and he is still pretty upset -- but he misses babble...
JB, your ability to eat chocolate is something you were born with.. comes from within.... (clue clue)
jb - a hotel + past tense of eat
JB, another word for prisoner, change M to N
I have had some contact with him -- he is very disillusioned right now -- he has even gone so far as to ask Dr G to remove his account
oh, ghdjddhajgjawryuarst;jna; Fish, please!!!
**throws JB a large tuna**
Thanks, FranMag, another perfect clue! I got it.
'bout the only fish I like!
It was my question. I didn't know any had happened. Will someon email me and tell me? I hate that his feelings were hurt about something.
heading out, see you tomorrow
GW, disturbing reminder of the M saga earlier this year...
Sorry I missed the conversation. Glad you're in touch, Stid. If anyone can soothe, you can. I've had a supersensitive child, and I know how hard it is for such a ne--usually a creative, artisitic soul.
I think I need another fe 4/8... were there any fi?
night feather
Gnite, featherbee!
bye featherbee!
no fi stidmama
bye fb!
fe + you & me.

I don't know what code it might be referring to.
i tried finishing the grid at about 1:30 am my time and had no luck. this morning when i started again i found a lot that i missed the night before.

nrkii, how many ea words are there?
also LI 6/24 and 5/14 (have the LI + ***der)
bleu, ar + what a fish breathes with, but try a couple of spelling variations

you are braver than me, i wouldn't get more half way through without having to pull the list out
ar5/14 - think of a type of socks and leave out a vowel.
now LI 6/24 and 5/14 (in that order)
i think
maybe 5/14 and 6/24
thats the trouble when my sister lives half way round the world, we only ever chat at this time of night
li 6/24 is to take in front of a court of law

hmmm, leslie, it will give me more incentive, btw, i think i saw hurshy using your icon earlier, lol, what is it?
if i give that other clue again i'll have to say minus a TI
leslie, i think it just shows how our minds work
um i think it is just the prettiest pic that comes up when you type "cross" into google images. religion theme today, i think.
Are there more than three sw5's?
hursh and i have picked the same icon a handful of times by coincidence. unfortunately, our telepathy does not include me having her babbling powers :)
yeah, except i haven't changed mine and everyone probably thinks i worship wiliam hung!
LOL
There are 7 SC

le 6/24?
it will be my prize for when i finish - 19 to go

Ok folks I am going, but before I do, I want to thank everyone for all the positive vibes re: being taken on perm at my job :) It hasn't happened yet, but I have pretty much been promised that it will happen at the end of June -- politics and accounting are interfering
good luck gw!

well, let's hop to it, daisy!
friday's a good day for fish daisy, no worries
sorry, just trying to decide what to do with the chunk of mahi i have in the freezer right now
next?
gl 7?
gl 7 sounds like what you get on your foot if you wear shoes that rub...
or take li 6 and add a g to the front
it means to glisten
now that's a clue, fran! ;)
sorry, it gives away more than what i usually give, but that's what it actually means!
brb, son wants chocolate milk
