knutmeg gets *~*~*~FIREWORKS!~*~*~*

1:08 am

busy. tired. you know, the usual for a working mom of only 11 weeks.

1:08 am

Thanks, MrPres!

1:08 am

how's baby?

1:09 am

cranky of late, but we had a loooong weekend last weekend, and I think she's going through a growth spurt

1:10 am

yeah, they go in and out of those alot. my kids are still obvious when they're going through one. cranky and eat like pigs!

1:11 am

mr p what does the 8/9 start with please

1:11 am

So you're saying Hayden should be 5 feet tall soon?

1:11 am

nice to "meet" you knutmeg - i read your profile...my daughter was born Mar 18 last year

1:11 am

yeah, considering his attitude and appetite, he should be taller than josh soon

1:12 am

neat, firefly!

1:12 am

he ate 3 pieces of pizza today. i couldn't eat that much, huge pieces

1:12 am

He's an animal!

1:12 am

knutmeg, sorry she's so cranky. at least she's ADORABLE

1:13 am

yeah, the eating and crankiness together make me think growth spurt (spirt?) she's eating 8 or more ounces at each feeding, which is 2-3 ounces more than her normal.

1:13 am

Thanks. She's my cutie pie, that's for sure.

1:13 am

100 left of my first game

1:13 am

100 left of my first game

1:13 am

100 left of my first game

1:13 am

100 left of my first game

1:13 am

when's your b-day knutmeg? i'll be 27 July 31, and my daughter was my first child too

1:14 am

woah

1:14 am

I'll be 28 on Nov 9th.

1:14 am

yeah, that's alot for her age. my niece is almost 1 (but small due to premature birth) and only eats 6 oz. she's eating food too now, but never took a full 8 oz bottle.

1:14 am

ahhh...

1:14 am

keys stuck farmusic? :)

1:15 am

presicely

1:15 am

wassup - my daughter only takes 6oz too, never an 8oz, and she's 14 1/2 months

1:15 am

oggy Hi8/55 9/72 one who holds a position of authority and plural

1:15 am

we're trying rice cereal, but she's still not entirely clear on the concept, so it ends up with more on her than inher, but we aren't really pushing it too hard, she's only 11 weeks, and the doc said 12 weeks, we just are trying because of how much she is eating.

1:16 am

my kids ate more than any kids i've ever met. My daughter would polish off an 8 oz bottle and look at me like "what was that? i'm ready for my meal now"

1:16 am

it gets expensive knutmeg, i don't blame you.

1:16 am

lol!! I have a feeling that is going to be Livia sometime in the next couple of weeks.

1:17 am

she'll even back out soon knut, i think the spurts are like 3wks, 6wks, 3mos, and 6mos

1:17 am

amylou will attest to it. she was there to see both my babies. they're eaters alright! :)

1:17 am

They eat like you are going to take it away from them. Truely incredible

1:17 am

SOOo expensive. Even with the $5 coupons the companies send you, formula is so very expensive. I just keep reminding myself that her one canister of formula lasts as long as an equivalent dollar amount of food for me.

1:18 am

hi again

1:18 am

I hope she does, firefly, the cranky is starting to get old.

1:19 am

it's true. i think babies are more expensive than kids. diapers, wipes, formula, etc

1:19 am

maybe teething already?

1:19 am

hi nrkii

1:19 am

I've come back from isolation, having hit a mental roadblock with 23 left to go -- just checked archive to get the 8/9, thank you all! ... 21 to go and going to the list

1:19 am

ar 7/36 anyone?

1:20 am

It's 2:20 AM -- think I can finish in 10 mins? ha!

1:20 am

she isn't chewing on anything or drooling more than usual, so I don't think its teething. Plus she's sleeping through the nights still, everyone (including my doctor) says that when she starts teething, she'll wake up during the night because of the pain

1:20 am

amylou, people who shoot arrows

1:20 am

ar7/36 - think bow and arrows

1:20 am

plural of the arrow slinger

1:20 am

Brilliant~

1:20 am

ar7/36-plural of the FIRST ar6/24. more than one person who shoots arrows for sport

1:21 am

thanks wassup

knutmeg, I just logged on and haven't read all of the messages, but we used to put a small amount of cereal in the bottle where it is thin enough to be able to drink from the bottle but it was enough to seem to fill them more than if they just drank formula.

1:21 am

i don't know, sometimes kids, babies just have crappy moods. I know i do!

1:21 am

It's so much harder to get the plural when you never even got the singular. :)

1:21 am

we did that too maribel. good idea

1:22 am

yeah, that 7 will give you several others too

1:22 am

I'll give that a try. How much cereal did you use for how much formula? Do you remember?

1:22 am

can anyone help with 'q' words?

1:23 am

i don't remember. we did cut the nipple a little to let more through though.

1:23 am

ghia

1:23 am

oops

1:23 am

i only have one. think the little bird with the swirly thing on his head - the l

1:24 am

rrrr, I only have 2, the one wassup just hinted, plus qu + we *** the champions

1:24 am

well, i'm beat, and i'm not even attempting the grid! just wanted to chat with some nice people - knut, for what it's worth, there's a wonderful website called babycenter.com that i found very realistic and helpful through my pregnancy and childrearing, and if you go there, you can join a birth club message board for women with your same age babies and ask and answer questions with each other, and i'm just politely going to say that the cereal at such an early age is not what i would do and you should at least research it :) please, no hard feelings, just sharing my experience and humble opinion :)

My youngest is 28 years old so I don't remember exactly, but you'll be able to tell through trail and error by how it goes through the nipple. We did cut the nipple too but only used that nipple for the cereal not the milk.

1:25 am

thanks nrkii

1:25 am

qu 4/7: add two vowels; qu5/16: drop the first s off the s6/27; qu6/36: qu4/7 add first two letters of **ost (an apparition)

1:25 am

qu 5/16 is uncool minus 1st letter

1:25 am

thanks Knut!!!

1:26 am

yeah, if you use the nipple for formula only, they'll choke, gag...etc. no good. :)

1:26 am

thx knut

1:26 am

thanks everyone, got qu5/16 and working on the others

1:26 am

only 10 left until fireworks!

1:27 am

i'm going to bed. good night all

1:27 am

nite, wassup

1:27 am

me 2

1:27 am

night wassup

1:27 am

night farmusic

1:27 am

okay, I'll keep that in mind. As for the cereal the doctor recommended it because she's over 10 pounds, eating 8 ounces at least per feeding, and sleeping through the night. All signs that she's ready for the cereal. But he said just once per day should I do the cereal. He didn't mention adding it to formula, but that seems like a nice way to start the transition

1:27 am

night.

1:28 am

thanks firefly for both your opinion and the website. I appreciate the advice :-)

1:29 am

anyone have a hint for the gh 6/27?

1:29 am

g'night to all those who just left (she says belatedly)!

1:30 am

gh6/27 is not easy. gh+first vowel+ double consonant+ third vowel

1:30 am

rhymes with sorry, I think.

1:30 am

sure thing knut - i'm just one of those types that does a lot of research, and i don't always agree with my doc - i've found from babycenter that there's a LOT of different advice coming from the pediatricians all over the country

1:30 am

thanks knut! got it :)

1:30 am

great clues thanks knutmeg

1:31 am

i think the gh rhymes with marry

1:32 am

jillibus - i'm not sure how to say this, but are you the eldest Babbler? I'm really impressed if you are!

1:33 am

I'm using a family doctor instead of a pediatrician because of my experiences with family doctor's and the fact that my doc agrees with me on a lot of important issues with my baby. Plus, easy to treat my whole family when we get sick at the same time. I do some research, but I prefer to listen to the experiences of people around me, because no matter what the scientists say, the advice and stories others tell hold more information than anything. There are cold statistics and warm experiences. I tend to trust the experiences more.

1:33 am

and you're all welcome for the clues.

1:34 am

I think I am the eldest -- Hetty said she was until I came along

1:34 am

i totally agree on the experience thing - that's what i loved about babycenter, talking with other real-life moms who had much better ideas than my doc!

1:35 am

I am completely stuck on wa 6/30

1:35 am

jillibus - congrats then! i think that's awesome

1:35 am

plus they tend to be more realistic than doctors and scientists. I have a group of friends who all had babies at the same time whom I go to first with questions and such. My baby is the youngest of the bunch s

1:36 am

nrkii - someone who is more cautious would be called...

1:36 am

I'm working on recruiting several very sharp octogenarians

1:36 am

argh, I was using the wrong R!!!

1:36 am

wa6/30: take teh wa4/8 that comes before it, throw the third vowel in before the second vowel and a consonant on the end.

1:36 am

thanks darci

1:36 am

no problem :)

1:37 am

excellent jillibus! we can always use more "experienced" players :)

1:38 am

firefly, where in W Wash do you live? I grew up in Ellensburg.

1:39 am

i'm in the Tri-Cities luv

1:39 am

oh what a daninty way to say "ancient", firefly - lol

1:39 am

sheesh, if I weren't half asleep i'd be able to spell dainty

1:40 am

Love the Tri-Cities. I was born in Kennewick. My aunt/uncle and sister & family live in Richland. We just moved to North Dakota from Yakima.

1:40 am

jillibus - lol, i would never say such things, but my hubby would! i just figured it was great you were on a computer, considering my 50something mother has a hard time of it... :)

1:40 am

Well, folks I'm off to bed. I'll see everyone later! Thanks again, firefly for the advice, also wassup and amylou!

RRRR - there are two sh4,5's : one is a group of females and the other is the first four letters of type of scream (usually done by women)

OK, i did not know one of those Q words, figured out 6/36 by doing the math.

6:47 am

Eva, I think that address only works when Babble is up.

6:54 am

Congrats Dippnall! I could use a clue for my last 2 - the HE 4.5 & 5.12 set (either ist or 2nd - have the ones on the head). Thanks

7:13 am

7:18 am

missing an ar4/5 not limbs

7:19 am

How about half circles for ar 4?

Half curves, rrr?

7:19 am

And I now find that I am so busy llooking for obscure words and counting points that I don't see the simple ones anymore - like the first HE 4.5 was one of the last I found today. But good fun.

8:03 am

Thanks guys!

8:03 am

where have you been smaller - i've missed you?

8:04 am

awwwww!!! that's so sweet!! i've been training. did my first marathon yesterday!!

8:04 am

ewwwwwwwwwwwww - i hate running!

8:05 am

right now he's downstairs having a good yowl. Who knows what that's about. But he had me in stitches a little while ago. We were playing chase the cat after his breakfast (he tends to do these little celebrations after eating) and he dashed into the guest room and disappeared. Poof! Then I discovered him hidden behind the door in the book case. A new hiding place and one he had clearly planned to use. He was very pleased with himself and won the round. He is the first cat I've had who organizes complex games.

8:05 am

very sore today. and by sore i mean $%*#-ing SORE

8:05 am

but how'd you do? didja finish? was morellie there to greet you?

8:06 am

ahem, smaller - should a woman of you er...years, be running races dear?

8:06 am

oh nut- morelli helped me through many hills! LOLOL

8:06 am

At least Merp is active after he's eaten, Arnie (my cat) just tends to collapse on the sofa or my bed after he's eaten......

8:06 am

LOLOLOLOL - they let me use a cane. and carry my oxygen tank

8:06 am

the q's are stumping me. Have the equalateral shaped one minus the s, but can't find the others.

8:07 am

my stinkerbug disappears after he's gotten food out of me.

quare

SORRY!

8:07 am

eva, think pier

8:07 am

oh well then smaller - it all works out

8:07 am

or dock

8:07 am

Sounds very garfield like movieman-but with a name like Arnie, what would you expect? Merp also sleeps most of the day, but likes a good chase first.

8:08 am

thanks unea!

8:08 am

i saw 4 people collapse. that was weird. felt so badly for them

8:08 am

my cat eats, chases the dog, gives the dog a bath then goes and takes a nap

8:08 am

how incredibly indusftrious saphyre!

8:08 am

nut, any new thoughts on Tank?

8:09 am

Mind you, he did come in the house with a bird in his mouth the other day, and I had to chase him 'round the garden until he dropped it.....

8:09 am

glad you didn't smaller! would have been heck trying to clean the asphault out of your face

8:09 am

tank still eludes me - i really should get cracking on him! but click on my profile - i found her pet.

8:09 am

are there any TW words

8:09 am

my cat is the ultimate prgmatist. from the food bowl, to the litter box to what ever napping ground neeeds fresh drifts of cat ha**

8:10 am

no Alien :)

8:10 am

she also spends hours staring at the fish tank

8:10 am

lol!!!! why does it move on your profile but not here?

8:10 am

i don't think the log can handle that

8:11 am

I wish that Merp could go out...he'd love it and would get badly needed exercise, but as I've mentioned before, he'd also get eaten pretty quickly. It would be a brief but happy life. But I couldn't bear it. So he stays inside. This time of year Merp also creates multiple knots in his fur which have to be cut out so he looks like he has mange.

8:11 am

How old is Merp, Eva?

8:11 am

saphyre - someone's gotta keep track of those fish, they're quite sneaky!

8:12 am

nut, oh good point, and the icons are so much smaller now

8:12 am

she only likes the blue damsel though and ignores all the other fish, it's really funny

8:12 am

her name is tinkerbella :)

8:12 am

Eva, I wish that Merp had a blog as I am so sure it would be very entertaining.

8:12 am

have you seen any of those cat videos? They have pictures and sounds of mice, gerbils, birds, fish. Merp loved it twice, tried to find where in the TV they were, then got bored. Merp is around 12. How old is Arnie?

8:13 am

and since i'm so fond of the moving icons, you'll be forever having to click on my profile

dr6/30 anyone?

8:13 am

LOL FMitch, that would be hilarious!

8:13 am

He'll be 5 at the end of next month, Eva.....

8:14 am

nut - ever the rebel! i'm stuck on book 8, there isn't as much road construction and blasting so not as much copious reading time

8:15 am

afternoon all. any clues for the top s?

8:15 am

smaller - how did you get on in the marathon?

dr6/30 anyone?

The top h's are both sh4 words

8:16 am

smaller - shame shame - and with 12 coming out in 16 days

8:16 am

matty, think how you stop your hands being wet.

8:16 am

then turn it into a machine and multiply :)

8:17 am

can anyone help me with the sc 7?

8:17 am

oops, that's the dr 6/21 . sorry matty, i don't have the 30.

8:17 am

Layne: you still here?

8:17 am

Fmitch - 4:47. did great the first half at 2:08 but no cloud cover after Mile 18 and it became BLAZING hot. it wasn't until Mile 25 that I realized pouring water ON instead of IN is quite effective. oops!

Got that one - the not wetters - I need the 6/30 - it's after the word meaning to sketch

8:18 am

WTG, I applaud you smaller!!!!!

8:18 am

YoBaby, I'm back. Had to go pour the water into the coffee pot.

8:18 am

I restarted and still no lists... :-(

8:18 am

ty ty FMitch, I got all emotional at the end. total girl moment.

8:19 am

Lunchtime calls..... BBL......

8:19 am

If this persists, you should send e-mail to Dr_God. He will have suggestions.

8:19 am

bye movieman!

YoBaby - you're not pro, are you? You won't get the Dr_God lists without paying. Otherwise, use the links at the bottom of the page.

dr6/30 anyone plleeessee?

8:19 am

A Merp blog would be fun, as would many of the other Babble cats, but way, way beyond my skill level.

8:19 am

I need it too matty.

8:19 am

yobaby, try signing out then back in?

8:20 am

anyone? sc 7 please? :)

8:20 am

Matty: I paid to upgrade about 15 minutes ago. Any idea how long it will take before i get the Dr God lists?

8:20 am

log out then in again.

8:20 am

i have one top s, the female one. any clues on the other?

8:20 am

Nut- I have so much ground to cover AND you'r going to KILL me for this but I haven't even made it to the Stephanie/Ranger part yet! gasp. you'd think that would be incentive!

Oooh. I didn't know that. Try clearing your cache - do you know how to do that?

8:20 am

YoBaby, are we talking about the same list? It's your word list that disappeared?'

8:20 am

Featherbee: I signed out, signed back in. Didn't work. Restarted computer and signed back in. Still nada.

8:21 am

hmm, don't know then, sorry!

8:21 am

smaller, should be all the incentive you need

YoBaby, try clearing your cache.

8:21 am

Not the word list. The list at the bottom of the puzzle that tells you how many words there are that start with each letter.

8:21 am

the merp blog is a genius idea! i think i'll start a stinkerbug blog.

8:21 am

is there a theme to todays puzzle?

8:22 am

Matty: can you tell me how to do that?

8:22 am

Featherbee, there was some conversation about servers yesterday; seems like you may have to wait for your IP server to load the new pages. Much endorsement for Firefox at the time, although i don't know much about it.

8:22 am

yo, did you go by paypal? when i did it there was something i had to click to confirm the payment and thus the upgrade. otherwise hit the my account it may have something as well.

8:22 am

Sorry, not Featherbee...that was for yobaby.

Yep - are you using Internet Explorer?

8:22 am

YoBaby, those are called the "Tile Stats." Just so you'll know. And, check your e-mail.

8:23 am

Scoutsmom: I have Firefox and Explorer and i'm on through Explorer right now. I'll restart in Firefox. And yes, Bonkler, I paid by Paypal.

8:23 am

i switched to firefox yesterday - very happy with it too.

8:23 am

BBL

From Explorer, go into Tools-->Internet Options-->delete files - see if that helps

8:23 am

whoo, i found an 8 :)

I have Explorer at home, but Firefox at work - I love Firefox, but will wait until I go broadband until downloading it at home.

8:24 am

i switched to firefo on my Windows XP and anow most of the colors are gone

8:24 am

anyone l for the sc 7? pleeeeaaaasseee :)

Can ANYONE help me with the dr6/30? Pretty please?

8:25 am

8:26 am

I have a mac and no skillz. Explorer? Tools? Just repeating from yesterday.

8:26 am

thanks nut, must be that my work computer is possessed

8:26 am

8:26 am

8:26 am

Clue us in, Miametro.

Did you try to empty your cache as instructed? Can someone PLEASE help ME with the dr30?

8:27 am

8:27 am

8:27 am

2:05 pm

Ta, charm

2:05 pm

jilli - think of an eyebrow's shape

2:05 pm

yram, the numbers are the number of letters, the second number is their point value

2:06 pm

ar4/6 means a word beginning with ar with 4 letters totalling 6 points.

2:06 pm

thanks...how do you know how many letters? Process of elimination from the words already found?

2:06 pm

Welcome yram - Have a look at Angelsongs linkbelow in friends of babble - expalins a lot about this very addictive game.

2:06 pm

yram, I started yesterday and found the babble for dummies link below helpful No offense

2:06 pm

thanks for all advice

2:06 pm

2:14 pm

nrkii - have you seen my ranking??? it's because you can't , it's so low it doesn't make the page!

2:14 pm

this babble in dabble is hurting my horse's ****

2:14 pm

ma 5/12 is one of those lovely babble words that has no definition

2:15 pm

thnx darci...

2:15 pm

2:15 pm

ah. yes. those are fun. the words with no meaning.

2:15 pm

evan - that link works perfectly but can't see a link to the lovely pic, did you put it up on the new site?

2:15 pm

yram, every grid includes some words that have no definition, and then doesn't include words you would swear are real -- it's part of the challenge

2:15 pm

2:30 pm

lol thanks

2:30 pm

It sure soesn't help that I cannot spell when playing this game....LOL

2:30 pm

Dino, it's a plural

2:30 pm

hi 9 is plural of hi8, not compound -- having to do with order of power

2:31 pm

great fireworks nrkii !!!

2:31 pm

the hi 9 is a plural of the hi8 and a word that has to do with structure

2:31 pm

that's what I thought - maybe I just can't spell today.

2:31 pm

ty ty

2:32 pm

I was trying to make it -es - wonder why this word isn't on.

2:35 pm

2:35 pm

It's a Babble word- dr+ second vowel+ ending of something that feels rou**

2:35 pm

BGL 6/30 is what santa rides in but dropping first two letters

2:35 pm

2:35 pm

2:36 pm

squar

2:36 pm

it seems so -- too bad

2:36 pm

LOL! I misspelled that one, too.....Yes, they are what I calll Babble words....

2:37 pm

They occur over and over- keep a list

2:37 pm

babblewords are why we need each other, i think - well, one reason

2:37 pm

is quaigh a real word

2:38 pm

you can find out if words are real by clicking on the little question mark beside them

2:38 pm

So true, jilli- suppose that is Dr. God's purpose for the dictionary choice?

2:39 pm

Hello everybody....jillibus, I just read your profile. I've got temporary custody of my sister's Great Dane who is 9 or 10. He's the best dog ever! I love him!

2:39 pm

some of the words come up ? when you click on the question mark....

2:39 pm

ooh, i didn't know that. thank you jillibus

2:39 pm

hangthedj, oops, try not to put the words into the chat -- we get smacked with fish for that!

2:39 pm

quaigh is a real word

2:39 pm

The dictionary that is behind the grid is the Enable one - which has some serious flaws but such is life. Please dont post words in the log!!!

2:39 pm

2:42 pm

2:42 pm

gh 6 sounds like a mans name

2:42 pm

2:43 pm

jilli, you looking for HA or HE words?

2:43 pm

oops! all 1 sentence.

2:43 pm

ha pls

2:44 pm

first ha is like a laugh sound, but double vowel

2:44 pm

second ha is what men hate to lose from their head, but trim from their nose and ears

2:44 pm

ty for the gh, nrkii -- fireworks!

2:44 pm

(these are all ha 4)

2:44 pm

do i really have to pay $14.95 for everyone to see my country and have a userpic

2:44 pm

I love the tongue in cheek moroseness of most smiths songs, and can't believe how much I still like "how soon is now" everytime I hear it. I love the "I am the son and the heir" also being possibly "the sun and the air" -- with that I'm diving back in the grid (splash!!)

2:45 pm

YAY, Jen!!

2:45 pm

third ha 4 is meats from pigs

2:45 pm

congrats, jen. i was stuck with that one too.

2:45 pm

yay jen!!!!!!!!!!!

2:45 pm

about that gh word- think of the actor who hit his head, according to the song in 50 First Dates

2:45 pm

M3 - sc7/44 = s + ***** kilborne + eighth letter of the alphabet

2:45 pm

fourth ha 4 is difficult

2:45 pm

kilborne !!!!

2:45 pm

fith ha 4 is rabbit

2:46 pm

6th ha 4 is damage

2:46 pm

haha yeah i always thought they said "sun and the air" at first... and i was like that doesn't really make sense. okay, i'll let you play some more.

2:46 pm

that's all the ha 4's

2:46 pm

hangthedj, there are other advantages that make playing the game more fun, plus the developer uses the funds to keep updating the game -- this is a new interface, for example, that's much more sophisticated than previously

2:46 pm

4:26 pm

Cat -- even with a different consonant it is not working for me....there is only onepossible consonant

4:26 pm

then the other three start the same and each have a different consonant at ending

4:27 pm

ok, the he that I am talking about it the second row he, ends in the top right corner

4:28 pm

the tall consonant

4:28 pm

Thanks so much Cat --- I was working with the wrong he....got it!

4:28 pm

sc 7/44 is a babbleword starts with what you do to an itch minus the last 3 letters, then the last 3 letters of the opposite to low.

4:28 pm

no problem, I do that all the time, and yw

4:29 pm

yram - think Geoffrey for Toys R Us for the animal

4:29 pm

4:33 pm

theres something about the girl named ma***

4:33 pm

got her

4:33 pm

one ma 5/12 is planet plus vowel

4:33 pm

and the other is plural of ma 4/5 (first one)

4:33 pm

or a car named Black M....

4:33 pm

i need the noblewoman ma/

4:33 pm

Erda, one rhymes with the stuff on your head that you have to get cut; another sounds like the telegraph, m**** code, but with a different second letter.

4:34 pm

yram, google may help you find the universe's melting pot

4:34 pm

it was the second one -- got fireworks, finalmente!!!

4:34 pm

DS, did you get the ha 4/5 that is like the laugh sound but double vowel?

4:34 pm

Anniebrook, the noblewoman works off of ma 5/16 as a base. Add italian-sounding suffix.

4:34 pm

nrkii, thanks, will ponder on that

4:34 pm

erda, YAY!!!!!!!!!!

4:35 pm

yay yay yay indeed!!!

4:35 pm

Does anyone have a clue for the DR 6,30 please?

4:36 pm

4:36 pm

thank you layne, got it

4:36 pm

thx so much nrkii I needed that too

4:36 pm

Merk, DR 6,30 sounds like Santa's sl****, but swap the two vowels in positions 3 and 4.

4:39 pm

I have 53 to go. should I list, or no?

4:39 pm

TY, stidmama

4:39 pm

Hi Stid!!!

4:40 pm

stid, don't list

4:40 pm

Interesting word, that dr 6. It doesn't even have a meaning. Where do they get these things?

4:40 pm

no

4:40 pm

*holds out bowl of fresh cherries from farmer's market*

4:40 pm

okay, then I will need some serious handholding...

4:40 pm

I'm going through and putting in what I found when I was afk, and I think I've got close to 90 already

4:40 pm

bubbs, try phonetically -- what you do with a scale + syllable you use to indicate doing something again + another syllable you use to stall when you're thinking, like ummmmm

4:40 pm

ha 4/5 & 5/12??

4:40 pm

heck, if I can find the 9 on my own, it's not that bad. ;)

4:40 pm

stid, list if you like

4:40 pm

Finished! Thanks for everyone's help!

4:41 pm

kkiln, yay!!!!!!!!!

4:41 pm

YAY kkiln!

yay kkiln!

4:41 pm

Hooray for kkiln!

4:41 pm

yay, kkiln

4:41 pm

well, I'll see how many I get in the next hour... then decide.

4:41 pm

bubbs, for ha , use ha + we **e the champions

4:43 pm

of course, I'm also getting amazingly lucky with my word guesses, so your mileage may vary

4:43 pm

bubbs, another try for the wa 6, again sounding it out, sort of like what you do with a scale, plus another word for butt: **** end

4:43 pm

Shade, I think you have more word smarts than I, but still willing to try -- I will look around and keep watching for clues to surface... :-)

4:44 pm

Thanks everyone...with nrkii on board, I don't think anyone needs my clues...

4:45 pm

but what if I have to go cook dinner?

4:45 pm

kkiln, actually, I am wondering about the wa nrkii is cluing... do you have another way to explain what's happening with that word?

4:45 pm

oh stid, it means more cautious -- sorry was trying to find another way to clue it because "more cautious" wasn't working

4:46 pm

*thinking*

4:46 pm

ah ha! thanks!

4:46 pm

hey, I needed that too - thanks!

4:46 pm

are there any ae words I should be concerned about?

4:47 pm

nope!

4:47 pm

WA 6 - Some people are suspicious, but others are more suspicious.....some people are wa**, but others are wa****

4:47 pm

nope

4:47 pm

kkiln-- that was great! thank you.

4:47 pm

4:47 pm

4:48 pm

I need one more W -- I have 5 four-letter, one 5 letter, and one 6 letter.

4:49 pm

dax - wa 4/9: holding down the fort, wa**ing it off from attackers

4:49 pm

I like the he 6 clue that someone had earlier - he + part of a long-necked animal

4:49 pm

WA** Cleaver, beavers dad

4:49 pm

Dax, one can become a wa** of the state if they are unable to handle their affairs.

4:49 pm

thanks nrkii! I didn't have that one yet!

4:49 pm

stid, both 5's are plurals

4:49 pm

Dax --- division in a hospital

4:49 pm

Stid, wa + plus the guys you send your taxes to

4:50 pm

thanks, looking...

4:50 pm

got it! another gray bit.

4:50 pm

sweet, just closed the W myself there

4:51 pm

4:51 pm

jessie, a woman's scream, without the eek?

4:52 pm

thanks Layne

4:52 pm

GH 6 is g+ h**** Potter but change last vowel

4:52 pm

The other "sh" word is sh + the abbrieviation for the smallest U.S. state.

4:52 pm

The gh contains a phonetic spelling of one of the UK's princes (with a substitute last letter).

4:52 pm

yeah, what min said

4:53 pm

:)

4:53 pm

okay, I don't feel bad about not getting those.... I don't think I've heard of them before

merk, sounds like opposite of lower + noah's boat

4:57 pm

I'm missing one of the a's. an a 5/10, I have the songs and the places, please... thx

4:58 pm

Merk, the hi 8 -- organizational are often formed along this -- has to do with who's on top.

4:58 pm

okay - can I get a clue for the he 6 / 27 (I'm guessing the 7/40 is the plural)?

4:58 pm

Merk, it has to do with the structure of organizations, who's on top is the he 8, several of them make the 9

4:58 pm

okay guys...first game and i have 95 words (thanks to all of you) and cannot fine the g words. i have the thing that turns something else and plural plus the gh + ****** potter. any clues?

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of everyday's Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints, I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life! and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
