Not looked at the total words until you mentioned them, Ram. 308. Biggish, I guess. With that size of grid you usually get half quickly, which then leaves you with an easily tacklet grid for the rest of the day.

I have to agree, Jacula I like to get as many words as possible before I jump over to Lickety's list. If I'm working with my mom, usually we get to that sticking point quicker than if I were working alone, but once there, I look for the list. For myself - and I do do it by msself most of the time, because my family all know that intruding ony my Babble is like filling in my partially completed crossword, I have to say I do it alone. Mind you, my other half being dyslexic clinches words for me at times, if he's there. Why? Because he finds words I'd never have dreamed of spelling 'like that'!

Good - now, change around a pl5/10 to get somethin you would eat your dinner off. Pluralise it to get pl6/21. Then put a three letter word meaning final beginning with e, IN FRONT. Then pluralise. You should now have en8/50 and en9/66. Take the instructions one step at a time and concentrate.. Too late!

You're welcome alexsia. Now have you found some words that can be made up from a** - what is left over from a fire? you can find a spotty thing, a hurrying word, a thing you wear round your waist, and a thing that is used to whip people. All of these can be made into plurals.

That's good. It's nice when you can build up a series of words.
weird, start looking for the four letter words, and build on those, there are heaps of plurals off most of them
weird - concentrate first of all on getting four letter words. look at the top right hand corner and see how many you can get from there. Then move over the grid, again using squares of four, and work your way through, trying all the combinations.

yeah the US are rubbish but it's a minor sport for them at the professional level (despite being the highest participation sport in schools)... all the freak athletes in the US play baseball, basketball, football, or hockey.... like in Oz mostly rugby n cricket (and aussie rules for the southern states)
and despite everyone saying the Aussie team are all foreigners, the entire team (except Archie Thomson born in NZ) are born in Australia, just 1st or 2nd generation european immigrants (like my wife, and there's nothing wrong with that!)
