Heard a great deal about the scenery and the culture and so......... From Israel, it's not as long a journey as from the US. Direct flight of 10 hours to Bangkok, and then a 2 hour jaunt to Hanoi or Saigon.
A friend of mine just came back from a tour there, what a coincidence. Wonderful scenery, she said.

i actually found my birth mother when i was 19 -- took me one day. turns out she was looking for me too, and lives in the next town over! its kind of odd now, because she wants some sort of friendship, and i guess i never really thought it through enough to know exactly what i wanted from her when i found her.
