Absolutely, Jacula---all kinds of dirt and grime. This place lets you drive in, you get out of the car, and 4 teens attack it with vacuum cleaners and spray bottles and clothes. And they shampoo the rugs.
We are staying at a bed & breakfast--Schroon Lake B & B, right on the lake, overlooking the mountains. I just want to kayak and hike.

There is a 13 yr old girl up the street. She is very responsible and has done a fine job many times. But I sleep with Sebastian and he will wonder why the bed is empty.

I used to worry about leaving my Kira (my black cat who died) because, having been abandoned at least 3 times in her life, she hated being separated from me and would even come looking if I was up the garden or upstairs for too long. My daughter was her 2nd Mum though and looked after her here at home.
Our remaining cat (the hunter) doesn't seem bothered as long as he gets fed.
Am afraid if we left our 3 alone for any length of time I would have only one left upon return
Callie follows me everywhere downstairs. It is funny how we anthropomorphize animals, especially our pets. But they have routines and we recognize their behaviors.
Ditto for the rabbits and guinea pigs. My old family of g/pigs, the house ones, were different.
George is very agressive with the other two

well, i WAS in the office this morning... then i got a call that the AC guys were at my house (not that theyd called to set up an appointment!) but since its been so long with no AC, i rushed home to let them in. turns out that the guy who originally came out to measure did it wrong + while the guys replaced the outdoor unit OK, they cant do the indoor unit, so now they need to come back.

raane, some use dictionaries, like morewords.com, others don't like to use them, it's up to the person.

and re: cheating by using helps, i think in this game, you define cheating personally (other than taking words from a list that some troll has deliberately posted). Depending on the grid, for me some days morewords.com feels like a blessing, and other days it feels like I'm cheating myself. Same thing with the list. Depending on my time and how much I want to work my brain, using the list can either feel like cheating or be a much wanted and needed help. It's all personal!

my other book group, on the other hand, is definitely lower class (intellectually)... it's been hijacked by rich young things with vapid looks who like to think that they're still using their brains....but some of the books are good, and my best new buddy (the one I travelled to Amsterdam, Sedona and going to France with in two weeks) is the one who started the group., and neither of us are ready to leave
I haven't attended the whole time, but I'm pleased that I started it, and now I have the time to enjoy it.
