hi ornith -- I envy you the pub!
ooops...
lol orn your trying to do my trick
Yeah, I've been envying the Brits ever since I visited London a couple summers ago, but the English-style pub three blocks from my house reopened and they have cider on tap and good food and NO loud sports TV.
jilli, interesting quilt
oh yummmy cider
whats funny is sometimes when one is tipsy / half-asleep, babble is so much easier. either that or impossible
I hate beer, so hard cider is so great. Especially strongbow on tap.
usually easier on my part lol but i get too chatty
ATA! hey you! stillllll waiting on that email :P
flosey -- yours is a treasure!
argh I owe you an email? *groans* I owe so many people emails. designs. *sticks design head on*
thanks, my daughter has it and does indeed treasure it
Basically was just are you willing to do my design. No rush though, since I can't afford to have it actually applied right now.
phantom: inferno
Does she have it hanging on a wall? I'd be afraid to use it

Happy dining, Groovy
i don't have any of those yet ornith.
how many in 8's are there
How about the fa8?
people said 2, ruru
brb, have to finish dinner
one is that this board is very in****** + r
in 8/40 is more in 7/28; in 8/40 is plural of in 7/28
in8/40 builds on in6/18 (in + sea bird)
jellen, fa8 = the witch in Hansel and Gretel (bulk-up-er)
pigeonman, Rick here
geek, I don't think he's really here
in 7/8 combo # 1 ... someone who is seriously considering something is in + te 5/10
dee and jilli, I'm apparently missing some base words
It seems like it... He's way up north. It must be cold???
got one
ornith I gave you a base word -- in + sea bird (in6/18)
yeah, I think that;s the one I just found jilli, thanks
hi all
the 6/18 is an unpaid worker, right?
te 5/10 and te 6/18... 1. stretched tight, as a cord, fiber, etc.; drawn taut; rigid. 2. in a state of mental or nervous strain; high-strung; taut:
Hey Geek. Thought you'd stopped.
hi Cs

I'm still working the top row
fins
Up to 130 so far.
oh oh Geek. you said a word.
brb
I have to remember which box I have highlighted... Rookie mistake
I STILL do it.
You won't do it if you get BabbleExpert, guys
Never paid any attention to that. How do I get it and what does it do?
Kim to the airportin the early AM. We might do a Lord of teh Rings marathon. Seemed like a good idea.
One thing it does is give you "Lickety Add" -- a box which if you type in one word it goes to the list, and if you type in more than one word it goes to the chat. It also puts everything on one page. To get it, just email Lickety. You have to be pro to get it.
thanks. i'll try it.
pigeon... it will rock your world, but it won't make you breakfast in the morning :) email lickety
lol, mrp
Geek. If you have all the L.O.Rs with the extra scenes, it's something like 10 1/2 hours
hi jilli :))

it's probably been called but sc 8/45
The first one comes before the membranes you find all the time.
ok i is back - dinners up

wb kiwi, what's for dinner?
fresh crumbed schnitzel, baked potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and cheese sauce

Ruru, add a common suffix to the fr4/7 for the fr6/27
night geek!
Good night all!

The In are KILLLLLLLLLLLLLInggggggggggg me, lol
Hi, meliae
hello Jell
brb going to get sympathy ice cream, and I Blame the IN words!
night jilli!
i'm back!
Hi, Fran
hi jellen!
Good morning/evening all.
Contemplating sleep now. Good night!
Hi, Haz
hi haz! night jellen!
Looks like a purple theme today?
quilts haz.
i think jellen and i just like purple, at least i do. :-)
That explains it, then.
I must find a picture of a quilt that I've made.
Oh, that's right, I don't have one!
morning Haz!
that would be great haz.
Frances will be along later to put us to shame, I'm sure, she's a whizz with them.
I think Haz is being ironic...
Hello sherb - the weekend must be here! Nice to see you.
lol, missed the second post.
beautiful picture of Spangle, Haz...
Thanks sherb - daughter's boyfriend is pretty handy with the camera.
he is! ...such an intriguing expression...
I reckon Spangle is wondering whether there will be treats if she stays nice and still...
...silence in the log... all absorbed in the grid...
I know. Sometimes silence can be good, companionable silence is no bad thing.
Though it freaks some people out.
I need it from time to time... just to calm my brain...
I know, we'll whisper.
Sshhhhh some of us are trying to sleep!
Sorry!
Morning :)
HELLO FMITCH!!!
Good morning FMitch - glorious day your way?
oops... turned the volume the wrong way...
Glory is the word I would use *grin*
sherb happy weekend to you.
Snicker, snicker.
hi FM!
i got called away to read to kids.
happy weekend indeed... and sunshine to go with it... :)
Hello Fran, great quilt. I remember watching a documentary about the making and history of such styalised quilts byt a group of women on a very small Polyenesian (I think) island. Their main motif was the hibiscus.
thanks FM.
pineapples and breadfruit leaves are also very popular.
fier
hmmm...
Yes that is so. the cutting process is facinating, they called their quilts Tvivi or something that sounded like that.
Proud of yourself?
sherb you are saved from the penalty box.
no... *hangs head in shame*
We had a bit of franglais going yesterday, sherb, though some objected.
i love watching quilts being made.
what did that involve?
LOL, silly me, i tried it too even though i've finished my Fs!
It involved making le grand mess of les two languages.
I do that oo Fran, always optimistic it will wor.k
Mainly to illustrate pidgin (one of the grid words) but also for le amusement.
sounds like beaucoup de laughs...
Le LOL et le sigh
Pour some but not pour others.
that must have been after i went to bed haz.
and who objected?
i can't believe anyone objected
One who could not comprendre.
Working on the principal that you can't please all of the people all of the time, there are bound to be one or two objectors on every subject.
Oui!
well, at least it's better than le textspeak...
(and that probably is a French word)
What is the french txtspeak for how are you my friend?
That is vrai. Somehow French lends itself to being mangleed, much more than German, It is altogether more rigid.
cmmt vs tu, dude?
now that's a good question...
ha ha Haz!
If you were to shorten german words you would just end up with normal length ones :) LOL Haz
Some German words could do with a good pruning.
hehe
Or maybe just cut them up into separate words rather than running them all together.
hi mummy
brb
Phone BRB
Good morning, mummy. Do you have sunshine as well? We can only get it by proxy these days.
hi Fran, just popped in for 5, have to go to the bank in a mo yo get some us dollars, off to NY on Thurs!
Well! That'll be exciting.
Hi Has, we had a spot of early morning rain but it is trying to be sunny no
How long for M?
yep, a girly long weekend Thurs to Tues
WE gave up on the suntan this year Haz, just going a nice shade of rust
Sounds lovely NY that is not the rust
Are you going with fairly empty cases? The exchange rate couldn't be better if you have retail therapy on your mind.
My legs are so pale they would scare the horses, if we had any.
Oh while I think of it, Babbler is looking for suggestions for new themes if anyone has any ideas.
Cats?
right! ...time I was off to the supermarket... later all :)
Or has that been done to death?
Bye sherb - you're so disciplined.... I'll have to do the same soon.
Yes, trying to travel light! not that that ever works! don't buy a horse Haz, neither will I.
No, buying a horse is not on my wish-list. They're heavy things when they stand on your foot.
Ah oui, the petite chat q'ele s'appele T4/9ina?
Bye sherb
well bye bye for now, geting my balaclava and gun and off to the bank, see you all later for the last 160
As long as it's a balaclava and not baklava.
Must get my eyes tested thought M said she needed her greek pastry dessert and gun
Atalante would probably fight you for the baklava.
he he, held up by a sticky pudding!
We both need our eyes tested, FMitch, that was my immediate thought as well!
LOL we are definitely on the same wavelength today
talking about eye tests I will book up for one of those whilst I am out.....
I think we just have the same sense of the ridiculous!
It is an ambient grid today, I have stumbled across 55 words whilst chatting, may it bode well for the other 173.
ambient? benevolent, forgiving?
Chatting with purpose. There are lots of the words that are regular appearers.
Appearers?
Sounds like a valid word to me.
Words can't be guests, or turner-uppers.
Turner uppers sounds like my idea of a terrible job.
turner uppers a person that recycles shoe parts?
Continual hemming, what a thought.
A turner upper could also be an archaeologist.
They're always turning up old artefacts.
LOL
Things that granny threw out for a reason, they keep turning up and turning them up.
My chat is starting to get glitchy and some posts are not showing up.
Complain to the management, FMitch.
Mine is getting slow as well, our verbal badinage is slowing to a crawl....
Still chuckling away every time I look at 'you -know-what'
And thinking of you know who?
And I wish Atalante would stir her stumps.
Phone.
evening my children :)
you -know what and you-know who?? oooooh! can I solve a mystery LOL
MrP how delightful
Hello mrpresident!
good evening haz! fmitch! the delight is all mine! :)
Teehee Haz shall I emal MrP or doyou want to *grin*
FMitch, the art-work was shared with a section of Australia.
Ah excellent

Scurys off to email BRB
I am off to have some dinner... bit of chicken and vegetable medley... I shall return and check my email ;))
No - WAIT!

Who me or MrP?
Sometimes there are more important things than food.
Go for it, FMitch.
And try not to choke, mrpresident, I'd hate to be responsible for setting back the recovery.
i just saw a how to video on youtube..training the cat to use the toilet im considering it lol
lickety is getting cranky!! must.... leave.... the.... computer!!! oh no... he is insisting!!
Bow to lickety, then, and save it for later.

ok ok ok... coming darling!!
Sorry lickety!
We're SUCH a bad influence.
Email is heading south over the equator and beyond.
But we LOVE it Haz
I know.
Starting the day with a smile and a laugh if so theraputic. Sets you up nicely for the rest of the day :)
Now this is annoying. Enable doesn't recognise those with social aspirations. Neither hoitier nor toitier is there....
Thats because babble is a great leveller of all airs and aspirations.
I suppose so, but it's a bit sad.
Must get a coffee, it's definitely that time.
Okay, see you shortly.
Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen, The Haz & Mitch Show will be right back after these messages.
Where is everybody else?
Have they been invited to a party and we've been left out?
Oh dear, don't worry, BRB kettles boiled
mrpresident did say they would have a party and invite everyone. Maybe they've taken her at her word, and we're the last people left to man babble.
woohoo! made it thru the re's. hi fellow bblers.
Hello rmc!
One of us had better turn the light off on the way out then
It's okay, we're not alone.
On phone now

That's nice.
I notice some words from a few grids ago in here

Oh you have more than Jake?

lynxxx - sorry - yeah that 6 year old girl singing over the rainbow - beautiful indeed
what are you guys talkibg about?
great choice on video yesterday Lickety!!!!!!
Lickety's clip yesterday was from a show called 'Britain's got talent.' In some cases the title was debatable, but not in the case of the little girl yesterday.
I say leave her in peace to be a little girl, to train that voice and then see what happens.
How do you select the videos Lickety?
roflmao haz and fmitch!!
You liked it then, mrpresident?
Never fear, the movieman's here!!!!!!!
oh so true!! very liked!
sorry all but I have to go again as husband is taking me little girl clothes shopping *has been sitting on hands since found out as daddy has to buy first outfit and has been away all week*

My cat is also a bloody good ra6/18......(and mouser).......
movieman, my cat tries to chase wallabies! absolute nutter! she came home with a guinea pig once, I thought I might throw up (I was 2 months pregnant)!!
I saw a hedgehog outside my back door last night, I half expected Arnie to go after him......

too many phantoms in this one
ren t
ren t
my favourite time was when I saw my cat running across the balcony with a parrot attached to her underbelly... the parrot was dislodged by the balustrades and the cat never looked at birds again!

g'day fellow bblers
ty!
Thanks Ata
Hi Rose! its been ages
sure has, lynxxx. been head down, butt up, working like a demon. lol. didn't get home from work until 0200 this morning.
how's things with you?
ugh! looking after yourself too though I hope
super! I retired yestreday!
yup. had a three hour nap this arvo.
you retired???? darn, i have to wait another 5 years!!!
Hi my mum just went to bed
I opted out a bit early - really couldn't take the frantic pace anymore. I'll get a one or two days work if I don't like the reduced income
since MM found out that you don't pay tax on your super if you wait intil 60, he's been like a bear with a sore head. he thought he was going to retire b4 me, guess who's laughing now?
I don't think you pay tax on the first $30k. I'm not sure that I am doing the right thing, but i hope my savings last for another year (60) before I start drawing on my super too
RMcc i think that is wrong to make people work till sixty
congratulations on your retirement lyn :D
TY Sherb
herin, i think it depends on the person and the type of work.
My dad had to retire early
also depends on amt of savings :)
i have a 5 year plan. work like crazy, start salary-sacrificing, and then retire. working for a private hospital, i can only sacrifice into my super.
int he US one must now work til at least 65 and 10 months to get full SS
*in the*
i should be able to retire about six years after i'd dead ;-)
poop. My parents dont have much. The b.s. thing was they are still married (nearly 40 years this year) and they would be better off living as a defacto on benifits
65 in the UK... and likely to rise...
lol - poor Bonkler
lol, bonkler
POOR bonkler
The Aust government has been doing a huge push for everyone to be self funded retirees (superannuation)...if all the babyboomers going on the pension it would be massive drain on the economy. They are actively encouraging working for as long as you can..even giving $30k bonus if you work till you are 70!
clue pls for my last te, te6/18, the first one
lynxxx, don't think i'll last that long. osteoarthritis is a real plague for me
my first te6.18 is the slang for a 10 pound note
I am planning on working til I am 70, just changed careers and will be working in retail part time
there are 2 others b4 that one lynxxx
I know I wouldn't have lasted another 11 years!!
TY I'll look
I need a job in order to retire
lol Infernal
* giggle *
does anyone have both ot's. i have the animal
bbl
see ya peri

thanx herin
ok, now that te is going to be my last word.
Thats ok it was a random find
lynxxx, that te starts with the number
there is te5/6 combo
no sherb, it's earlier than that one
it starts from the 4th row t
I am having a problem - I keep finding shoes i want but i have no inclination or coordination to wear 6 inch heels
one who rents room?
buy them anyway, herin. a girl can never have too many shoes!
yay, sherb. i knew it had to be there. thanx.
I have no use for them. I got asked if it was inappropriate to lick the computer screen. I dont know why i said that
Thanks sherb
TY Sherb!
TY Sherb!

There was a man who entered a local paper's pun contest. He sent in ten different puns, in the hope that at least one of the puns would win. Unfortunately, no pun in ten did.

Hi Carlee
how r we today?
about to nap it
nap it?
Bed
ah...i c....
its 10 30pm been up since 630pm
Hope you are good
i'm..ok... up from 2 am -3 am.....got 1/2 way..now I have 15 mins to kill before I run to a crazy day at work...
errr
Why so early?
then.... i am off to a dinner I JUST got invited to last night... then..I can bake for tomorrows' party
my husband elbowed me in middle of nite..woke me up...then the one cat realised I was awake..thought.."oh goodie, I get attention now"
Party?
Crap thats annoying
is labour day weekend..the unofficial "end " of summer here
Oh ok nice
is a long weekend..and neighbourhood having yet ANOTHER party
didn't know canada had Labor Day
hope your weather is as spectacular as we are having
we have unions
I have eaten over the last two days Lindt chocolate that tasted mildly of coffee. JUST now i looked at the page 'With Coffee' head desk
oh oh....well..coffee is YUM
It is but seriously my brain is dense at the moment
I like coffee it was more a fact off 'what the heck, this takes odd;
ah.... well...here is dense for u...I was trying to think what dessert I can take to the party... one household she allegic to caffeine so no coffe and no chocolate..another household he HATES blueberries... my household I am allergic to strawberries... so I asked myself what is left?
ok
uh... a pound cake?
hi all
and I thought... PEACHES... they in season..I jsut came back from the market with 9 quart basket of peaches for peach cobbler and vanilla icecream..good plan..yes???? NO
I would say 'A choc blueberry cake'
apple pie
the OTHER remaining household I JUST remember..she HATES peaches
hi TO. OH YES, peaches good.
she OD"D on apricots whilst in bording school and ever since..peaches turn her stomach
So jam the peaches?
and these folks TELL you this? how rude
yours prob won't be the ONLY dessert so don't try to please every single person would be my thought
Apple cobbler is a good
i say pound cake, then those who like peaches can put them onn it
so I have a 9 quart basket of peaches... and I can't use them... ( not rude TO... we all just know eachotehr SO VERY WELL..imagine desperate housewives without the deperation... we live in eachothers homes ALL time)
if not, put ice cream on it or eat it plain
might be an idea TO
Happy Holiday Weekend, whoo hoo!! Good morning, TO, herin, carlee
its a knock and walk neighbourhood... u knock on door and don't wait for anyone to answer..u walk in... and whatever u find is fair game...
ok so pound cake. sliced peaches can be added by those who like them. then make a cobbler for yourself, or a small cobbler and a small pound cake
did you say coffee AND chocolate, herin? It's all good!
The definition of rude is being told your house is messy even though you spent ages cleaning your areas -the boys have 2 places for their crap. THe bathroom and kitchen were hygienic clean. The other day she said to me AGAIn 'Is the house as messy as the time i came over?' I nearly cried
TO, remember, it
oops
Jb i did but i didnt notice till now.
to use up some peaches
that IS rude
Oh TO you are brilliant
it's a HOLIDAY weekend, maybe she won't want to be cooking all day!
ok..well...my babble time up for today... at last got more then half way
cu all tomorrow
bye carlee have fun hi all i need to hang laundry bbl
at least I mean
I live here now and the bathroom kitchen lounge dinning/computer area are spotless. I am happy
*poof*
who, herin? (how rude!)
then come pclean my house LOL *poof*
bye, carlee, happy labor day!
Later, TO
A friend told me 'So is the house cleaner than when i visited?' Im sitting here going 'um' 'Sorry not being rude was the comment back'
Hello all.
Friend? perhaps "acquaintance" or "associate"
My house is cluttered. The dinning room is really the computer room boys have their crap everywhere. We have a spotless dinning table random clutter under the kitchen breakfast bench as there is no storage. You could lick my benches and bathtub they are that clean
Hi Scrabbler
A friend would just move the stuff off the chair and have a sit and a chat!
Oh, no, don't say the lick word, herin. Scrabbler tried to himelick me last night...
**reviewing the grid and noting excess of many letters**
*looks around* Oh, HI there, Scrabbler!
At least you didn't use Jacula's term, JB
My problem is we have lots of crap and not many cupboards. Oh and no vacuum. you can sit down that is the thing, the lounge is spotless (with my clutter in my corner and my boyfriend has a corner too)
*keeping front of self to Scrabbler +just+ in case*
Oh and my insides of my cupboards are organised too
Oh, sorry *slaps self on forehead* - it WAS Jacula!!!! {{{{Scrabbler}}}}
{{{{Herin}}}}
Don't worry, JB. I would NEVER do the maneuver mentioned in Jacula's joke!!
herin, I've had a major breakthrough with clutter busting with much help from DH - only one major area to tackle this weekend. Lots of paper to sort and shred, mainly
But, JB, you did throw me a pint of ice cream last night. Yummy.
No worries here, Scrabbler!
Ta im laughing at my kitty. She loves hiding in a milk crate. I am hoping to secure an old speaker box minus speakers to cover in carpet and let her have a better hidy hole
Yes, I did! and Yes, we had ice cream too!
JB I am working on it one room at a time. I just ran out of time and storage.
My Scrappy luvs boxes
I am starting to not be able to find clothes which is issing me off so i have to do my room.
JB--I reviewed your profile. How fortunate you were to have PAddywhack so long. (I spent almost $900 on my oldest rabbit, Callie, in May.) And your husband is a MD--what type? Where is he practicing now. Yippee that residency is over.
I am looking into a scratching box home thing.
You know, it takes a while to get it cluttered (although I can cover a flat area with STUFF in very little time), it's gonna take a while to deal with it!
TY, Scrabbler! I so have to update it! Anyway, he's a sleep medicine doctor, and looking for a spot in academic medicine, so just doing some part time right now
which is why he got the apartment clean! Nice to have clear floors and hallways. Don't give up, herin, conquer one area at a time!
I am a pediatrician. I don't miss residency days. Sleep medicine is very cool! Did he do Neuro first then a fellowship in Sleep Med?
Yep need to train the boys to clean
I lived in my own flat for 4 years know i have moved.
Boys/men ARE trainable, some more than others though
Transitional Med year, 3 years Psych, one year Sleep Med fellowship. Jeff Med College for school and later for fellowship
good afternoon all
by exclusion does that mean girls/women aren't?
{{{sprite!}}}}
Women are BORN trainers, BR!
They are fawning over the cat too cute. Thats great JB. Can i borrow your hubby to cure my boys insomnia. No these boys arent house trained i am (most of the time)
Hi sprite
Good for him! Esp for choosing a specialty. Primary care if brutal--overworked and underpaid! I interviewed at CHOP and St Chris' but stayed in Buffalo.
lol BabbleRabble
Hi Sprite & BR
when I see these comments it makes me wonder where I left my leash
Scrabbler how is the fur kids?
He's not picky, but he is waiting for the right opportunity. Something good will happen soon!
Babble depends on your kink :D
BR, leash for pet? Child? Spouse? Monster under the bed?
I have it right here, BabbleRabble... thought you did not need it anymore
Then again my parents have been married for 40 years this december
Sorry, BR, it was a broad generalization. Some women are slobs, some men know how to be clean & tidy.
well, I have had my quota of bashing for today
The bunnies are great, Lady. Sebastian did not want me sleeping in this AM, so he was jumping on me to get up. They all like to have their morning salads.
how is the grid today?
We LOVE you, BR!!
BR, lol, I had to reread your last comment - I first read it as "bathing"
AWWWWWWWW. Too cute.
I just started, Sprite, and am not happy with the letters--variety and placement.
I promise I was not bashing. Like you way too much for bashing, BabbleRabble.
hi Sprite, BR, Scrabbler, herin.. everyone.. i just found the Hawaian goose.. one of my first words..
Ever boy/man i know are complete hopeless slobs
yay Aloy, thanks
Hi Aloy + TY for the clue.
I know men who are tidier than I am
Morning, Al!
And I found some other birds now, singular + pl, with various spellings
so far I am finding words faster than I can type them. Then again, I just started.
Oh, look, Scrabbler, there are PGY1's in there!
Now we have a kitty they have to clean up. Like the chicken tonight. I told them eat it wrap it or throw the remains, don't leave it on the bench or youll have to pay the vet bills
I did that too, sprite, then got into the chat.
hi JBs.. birds, ooh.. i see the black birds.. back to the hunt
lol JBs
I still do that, herin, my Jazz loves to prowl the kitchen counters at night
Anyone got any words from the bottom a?
where sports are played, mm
I have 2 for place where fighting takes place, in front of spectators.

Any clues for the 9? (I'm trying to not hit the list til I get at least halfway)
JB, I use Babble Expert and Lickety Add so this isn't supposed to happen. Yikes. **bows head in shame and walks to the penalty box** **cheers up at thought of pastries in box**
Where's your dad, TO?
*hugs TOwl*
mmmmm, pastries! I have carrot muffins for breakfast, anyone?
it's an in9 JBs

north jersey. i mean i WANT to, but i want to roam free another day
scrbas, every italian girl knows "honor thy parents" well. and also guilt
Sprite--I was in lightspeed-typing pace.
I hear ya, TO!
may i have clues for the az words please? no need to procratinate to excess
an old friend, the volcano, just peeked out of the grid! hehe
that must be it, Scrabbler... lightspeed typing warped you into hitting space
I would send a gentle nudge your way, tho', TO - my FIL had a stroke 2 years ago and has had a broken brain since...love him while he's here!
i know that well. my mom is gone nearly 4 years now.
Hey, where's the lightspeed function on MY keyboard?

Apparently when British army wives were leaving accommodation, they had to leave them fit for the white glove test.
may I please have a clue for the first si6
it's a shade of brown flosey
well, considering it's been 3 weeks since nick was born, and 3 weeks since the house has been all decluttered and dusted and vacuumed at the same time, it needs it! I've spot cleaned here and there, but nothing has been all clean at once since he's been born. hmm, and not much before that either come to think of it...
thanks movieman, that gave me 2
yw flosey
i can vacuum one day, and do the bathroom another, but never have enough time to do it all at once
good night al
en 6,27 please
feather, it'll be fine. I know you're anxious to have the house nice, but I promise you, if they DO look at the tops of the doors, they're mentally deranged.
goodnight herein
have a great snooze, herin
LOL haz! i'll keep that in mind!
night herin
good night Herin I am goig to bed too
I agree Haz, I had a houseguest who told me that she always checked behind the shower curtain!!!
Good Night everyone and God Bless
Aloy, I just read the origin of your name and it is a tribute to the students of yore...what a lovely story
well, if they check behind my shower curtain, they'll see a clean tub, but with a bunch of sailboats in it!
Good night Tiny and herinfernal.
and she was only an afternoon guest, not staying over
****going to change shower curtain***
Had she strayed from the home for the bewildered?
my problem is clutter more than anything else
see you next time, Tiny.... oh, TY Annie.. i think of them all the time
she was sick
lol, you might wonder Haz
like i only now went through the pile of papers the hospital gave us that has been sitting on the kitchen counter
Find some big boxes, fling extra stuff in, store it in the garage or behind a locked door.
yeah, i'm a big fan of shove it in a drawer and forget about it!
As long as the drawer closes, is my motto.
is there a problem with that feather??
nope, no problem at all!
I am back--was checking out the bunny web site that ch1212 shared. Feather---don't overdo the cleaning.
Husband is of tidier disposition and knows where everything should be. Except that I've probably been in his drawer and moved it.
tummy is rumbling.. brb
doug's going to help with a bunch of it. he's taking the garbage and recycling to the landfill right now.
Hazel--you went in his drawers and MOVED it???
and that's why i'm sitting here for a few minutes too!
Alas, I am a foolish woman and know no better.
*naughty images of haz rearranging things in men's "drawers"*
LMAO, Hazel---you always make me laugh!!
Cast all naughty images aside. When have you ever known me to be naughty?
And there is a lot to arrange in there too
;)
never haz ;)
I need breakfast--coffee has rushed to the head. BBL
ok, nick's starting to squeak...might have an extended break while i take care of him!
bye for now scrab
Thank you doxy for that word of affirmation.

pleasure doxy
(As in change the last consonant for a vowel)
i think i am missing a chromosome. among other things.

i have the loaf about chromosome, which is infinitely superior.

Take a vowel from your mouth choppers
omg ty hazel
You're welcome!

Not yet, I'll look.
Have some herbal tea(s)
As in add mental competency to the ti, then plural.
thanks haz
You're welcome, doxy.
doh! i keep forgetting that other s!
it's the pollock for me : /
It's skulking in that corner.
wow- i don't have mental competency i think
brb must refresh in hope of finding some missing words
one of which is definitely na5/12
It was in the grid yesterday, I think. An anagram of Mr Penn.
na5/12 - Allmost Mrs Reagan.
oh wait - she's already here!
ni5/12
does anyone have a clue for the last ra7 please
more like a rodent, flosey
ra7 - being more frazzled in Hamelin
and re5/10 before the eye part
thanks Haz - will have to work on that
oh, how did I miss it!!!
ni5/12 - is it ordinal for a number?
so if i'm lucky babblecast will be up before i leave for the wedding...if not...you'll have to wait for further proof of my genius.
We know you're a genius.
spanks haz
nutty, there is no doubt of your huge mental capacity
re5/10 - r plus the number before 10 rearranged.
I protest. I spoke the truth and got punished.
Is this what you call AMerican justice?
Life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and the right to call Nut a genius. It's all there.
Read your constitution and weep, Nut.
mental...hmmm
And my re5/10 clue wasn't right for that position...
hey, it's a new month, i need all new votes in podcast alley, i've fallen off the rankings
what's podcast alley
http://www.podcastalley.com/podcast_de tails.php?pod_id=50968 --- vote there
i'm listening for the first time
So we have to vote again? Even though you're insulting your listeners and scorning your fans?
when have i done that??? never!
reached 100. have to go for now. BBL.
Bye doxy.
bye foxy doxy
later, doxy
ok haz back i did not get it from your clue sorry
Was this for na5/12?

I'm sensitive, nut, surely you know that.
awwww....but i don't make fun of haz...haz i?
what who when?
ty haz
this thing is so slow, i'd swear i was using dialup
Oh, go on then, Nut, otherwise I'll feel left out.
You're welcome TO.
ty i have fireworks but cannot stay
Well done!
howzabout this...voting gains you temporary amnesty??? will that work?
How long is temporary?
maybe like a week.
A week? Oh I'll go for that! I was expecting 10 minutes and was prepared to hold out for 15.
ehllo
hello i mean
Hello harpjane.
Back shortly - voting for babblecast.
hi jane
bless you haz!
sun is shining must gout while wecan
fireworks...
ok nut, I have the page up - don't see a place to vote??
have never seen this before, what is it?
WTG Angel
congrats Angelsong!!!
flosey, to the right of babblecast is a little red link that says vote.
I have voted.
to the right? i meant to the left
Have you ever thought of taking up air traffic control, nut?
i did, but i like the fact that i haven't killed anyone yet
I think you made a wise decision to leave it alone.
now who is making fun of who?
Of whom, dear.
(Just testing to see if nut cracks)
if i wanna talk wrong i'll talk wrong, i'm from pennsylvania after all.
ok, see it, but do I have to give my email address, etc? and what is the vote for?
you have to give your email address...they don't sell it...and it moves babblecast up in the rankings.
they like the email address to prevent cheating
sorry, don't know anything about babblecast, what it is, etc?
*gasp*!!! - it's our podcast flosey, dr. god has a link below for it.
we've dropped all the way to #30
Thirty out of how many?
30 in the comedy listing out of about 2600
afraid I am in the same boat as flosey.. never clicked on it..
So, you're doing pretty well, then!
ah, thanks aloy, I've never heard of podcast, etc
I am scared to wonder who is languishing at number 2600.
*GASP* - no no no no no nono aly and flosey!!!
haz, that was with only 15 votes, think what we could do!
blush..
So, despite all, you're glad I'm around, aren't you, Nut? I managed to vote and everything.
you voted...you have immunity for a week...
wtg haz, I'm beginning to feel so ooooold here, not underestanding this
i think has that the 2600 etc are ones who think they'll make a pod cast, list it, never bother again and don't delete it.
I think I voted...I am with flosey
Flosey, you and me both.
oh annie how nice to have company
Do all the voters get immunity for a week?
and hetty, thank you
woo hoo annie...okay...shall i do a download the podcast for dummies session just now?
Hi also annie. We're good company

I thought I had negotiated a special concession but maybe not.
nutty, I think that is advisable
Hi Hetty!
ok...click on dr gods babblecast link first
So is this dummy, nuttie. I voted for the babblecast, but don't know how to download it... Help?1
Don't call them dummies, call them computer challenged, or voting threatened.

but its like the book series my way
(taking notes here)
computer challenged - indeed I am! picked it up very late in life
what is babblecast?
sorry, my slow comp needs to catch ut

*eye starts to twitch*
Harpjane is throwing a spanner in the works.
Begin at the beginning. What is babblecast?
Who makes babblecast?
ready for step two, nut
Where can you hear babblecast?
no i really don't know! maybe i work too much and play too little?
first si6 please
How can you vote for babblecast?
babblecast is like a babble radio news cast
Neither am I computer challenged, jargon challenged maybe
i have a feeling it won't matter to me until i switch from dial up
under episode 15
si6/18 - resembling Miss Miller the actress, often seen in artist's palette of colours.
click on the word podbean in green
does babblecast its pearls before us oldies?
oh, i am SOOOO behind. What is a radio news cast, and where is the word podbean?
Hello everyone
thanks Haz

Hi, Alo and everyone! How is your weekend going, Aloy? ARe you still up north?
yup.. loving this lovely weather, Scarlet.. need to mow today and looking forward to the exercise .. how are you doing?
Wonderfully well, Aloy. I have to pull away from the clinic on poscast connections... have to make a cherry coffeecake with marscapone cheese and a crunchy brown sugar topping!! :-) (In a few minutes)
*podcast*
ooh, that sounds delectable!
That sounds pretty good, Scarlet....
ok, had to dry hair and plug in flat iron
It is, Haz... and hello to you! :-)
now, when you click on the podbean link, it will take you to a pink babblecast web page
oh yum! I have not had breakfast yet, that sounds so good scarlet
time to stop for breakfast - perhaps come back refreshed!
It is, flosey, Aloy and Haz... it is the only cake that uses a mix (as the base) and then you add yeast, eggs, oil and vanilla... then the marscapone, cherry pie topping (with a pinch of cardamom and a drop or two of almond extract) and then pile on the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup topping... soooooooo daggone good!
Hello, Scarlet. The card arrived safely with FMitch this morning. Much hilarity.
class over
ok, tyvm nut.. as soon as i find my last 9 words, i promise to follow through.. (-:
I am laughing so hard now that I cannot breathe properly, Haz... you are such a stirpot!! :-)
Round of applause for Nut, who got over the twitching eye beautifully.
Thank you, nuttie. I will visit your creation!
A stirpot? What COULD you mean?
you will not regret it Aloy!
LOL.... too funny, lady Ireland!!
nut's most recent podcast had me in stitches ... I laughed so much!
Hi, Nono... I must check it out when I have finished getting the bread dough made and the cake safely on a cooling rack!!
could someone clue the ar words?
place where sports are played, harp
thanks, must be time for breakfast!
how about the ca6/24?
put a familiar greeting at the end of ca5 before it
I have to retire to the kitchen for my personal version of the perfect day: baking and watching the debut of college football... then, the NFL starts later this week... baseball is in full swing and this is the perfect time of year! :-) :-)
see you next time, Scarlet.. have a great day of baking and sports!

Singer A**** Lennox
That did it -- thank you Haz
Thank you, Haz

You're welcome.
you were giving me the wrong 6/21, Aloy -- the one I already had
ouch, so sorry Erda..
I need help with the last sc's 6 & 5 I have exhausted all options I can see
np Aloy
sc5 - a landscape?
no the last ones
sc5/12 - s plus the candy stick rearranged, then plural.
sc5/12 - the last one, structured the same way as the preceding two, but the normal landscape spelling.
never would have found those thanks a lot haz
You're welcome.
off to the podcast and mowing now.. fireworks (-: bye fellow babblers.. see you next grid!
babblecast is 10 overall right now...thanks guys you rock. won't last when everyone else starts to vote, but hey...still cool
oh, i'm in so much pain right now...need to see a dentist, but with labor day right around the corner, gonna have to wait til tuesday at the earliest. Wish these ibuprofen were stronger
Bye Aloy.
Have you tried the old fashioned oil of cloves?
Clue for the in 9 please
ouch CsC will your dentist not take an emergency case?
Hi, all
csce - i've found rubbing whiskey on the gums does help
in9 - one who does not mean what they say
CsCde.. just saw your post. There ARE dentists who work on holidays.. really saved a Thanksgiving for my BIL... just call your dentist and he/she will have an emergency number on their recording.. don't suffer!
Or, speak to a pharmacist and see what is the strongest pain relief you can buy without prescription.
someone suggested oil of cloves to me last night, so gonna check out cvs later today and see if they have it. Will probably also be dropping by the liquor store, as I can't find the brandy I usually use to numb up a toothache.
Hi again.
Haz, I dont get it
Poor, Cascade---call your dentist.
taking the amount of ibuprofen i've taken in the last 30 hours, i should be totally painless or unconscious, and yet i'm neither, lol
hi Scrabbler
Hi Nono
Buttonman, when you mean what you say, you can be described as si7/32. This is the opposite.
how can there possibly be that many se's
LOL
got it, thanks
That's good.
I haven't looked at the list yet, ruru. I am not even halfway.
I'd better head towards the kitchen, so I'll say bye for now. Have a good day!
Bye hazel
bye haz, have a good day
bye bye Haz take care
fare
oops, sorry
I've got it, Buttonman, but I need 14 other F words.
down to 21 but head is spinning, going out for a walk - bbl
see ya later flosey
i used to love taking walks when i lived in ny...just can't seem to enjoy it now that i live in the suburbs (although, technically where i live now is more like a city-suburb)
I need a clue for the 4th se 6/18
scratch that the third is the one
I don't know what is 4th but my 2 se6's both rhyme with "senate"
And I found another se6 = pl of se5
I have that one scrab... I will find the third
Oh, how about the trig function? I just found that.
Anybody see Hursh today?
oh you are over my head on that one I hated trig and algebra
se + ca4
Hey everybody... My fourth se6/18 is an se4/4 with the word meaning opposite of out.
TY, smithchick! Did you graduate from Smith?
I guess I should say + opposite of out.
No, I married a Smith
Went from Billingsley to Smith.
OK, Mrs Smith
thanks scrab I had that one too
time for lunch here bbl
Hey, I am exactly halfway. Time for a walk. BBL
But don't ask for any pie or anything. In my wildest imaginings, I like to think I'm more the Angelina Jolie version of a Mrs. Smith. LOL
Bye all who are leaving. I've got 53 left and am going to make one more pass through before getting out the list.
ooooh, everyone leaves
I think it's me...I haven't showered yet this morning.
is that what i smell?
Yup...
i'm not really here either, have to go get makedupped for the wedding
Yeah, I have to do the dreaded bill paying and then Wal-Mart thing. Oh, and laundry. Being a grown-up sucks sometimes.
I really need the third si clue if anyone has one
that is si 6/18 the third one
I don't have a list yet. My third is an si7...meaning what you say.
si6/18 3rd that I have is one who minds children. Not sure if that is the third or not.
Third si6= one who breaks the Ten Commandments
That means I'm missing one. Thanks, Jellen
My first si6 is a color. I don't have the second.
Has anyone here today found the first na4?
You've got the one I've got.
back refreshed !! I hope

Hi, LoriP
Ack!
clued the wrong one! Apologies and blushes......
tx lori and jellen !
Hey Jellen. G'd afternoon
I clue the wrong word often, due to my inability to count.
I just chalk it up to general inability in my case... :)
lol
What a dilligent group!
It's quiet . . . too quiet.
Creepy. I got done this morn, and thought I'd roll in for a bit.
Our #1 spawnling is lurking and playing this afternoon.
DID YOU WANT ME TO YELL A BIT???
Shhh everyone. i think inge said something... :-)
That's okay, inge! :-)
did you get your hearing checked lately?
LOL INGE!!!
What was that?
No, but I think that did damage to my eyes......
I think I couldn't hear you...
.
#1! She heard ya' inge. can you tell her to clean her room please?
Oh dear, shall I consult our optomotrist babbler?
We have our own optometrist?
Cool. Free eye exams!
yes, though he rarely babbles, but is a sudoku elite
YAY! No more paying for eye exams!
Hello
we also have a bone surgeon and a pediatrician
Are you done the grid inge?
I've had this ache in my shoulder......
Ahh. I knew we had a pediatrician, a veterinarian, and several nurses. . .
HI, herin
And I have 4 kids, so this all looks promising!
yes, I finished at 8:30 this morning. I just come back for a little company
wb herin
I just got up. Stupid brain went 'wake up' 730am on Sunday is wrong. I had a lovely warm boyfriend to curl up next too but no we has to be awake NOW

Perfectly proper, inge

I wont be around later in the day my mum is here
Take care pink, we'll catch up soon, time zones be darned!
I too have to get some things done. I hate being responsible, it goes against the grain...... :-)
Inge that is a lovely pic. My mum and dad are up to 40 years at the end of this year
the icon theme makes me wonder. When I taught adult ed night German, I quickly learned not to ask for peoople's occupations, too many were embarrassed or unemployed
Thats a fair point Inge.
Later all, have a great evening everyone!
back again!
bye, Lori, and lady
Bye, Lori
people dont have to join in though, if they dont want to
But bringing up sad memories is also bad
yet jacula suggested the theme
its possible to bring up sad memories with any theme though...
it would be hard to anticipate that kind of reaction inge, when we had clowns as the theme, quite a few people were scared of clowns.
true, true
yes! that was awful!
I am not Married and well sometimes the wedding day is the happiest time of ones life. Clowns scare me
didnt we have spiders one day too?
I'm not going to participate, although I did have an awesome gown. It just isn't appropriate for me.
think of that poor gypsy girl in England with her "oversized dress". She was not happy
I'll put a pic up. then you can all see how fat and ugly I looked (according to my mother!!!)
we have a babbler that won't babble when a certain other babbler posts her pet hamster! you can't ever know what will push people's buttons the wrong way.
LOL ata
(honestly, that's what she told me on my wedding day!)
Jellen - What about a just a pic of the dress or one like it?
Fran thats a little extreme
The hamster problem intrigues me. . .
that hamster lady has not been on for a long time, is she still with us? Or is there another one now?
it's true though infernal.
Herin, wouldn't know where to find one. It was my mother's from 1950.
Ok Jellen interesting.
ankh? she'll be back in autumn

oh that i know!!!
ruru, my monkeys are well trained! :-)
excuse me?
your monkeys
what is with the monkeys
that's the amazing part scrabbler, like the article said, they did all the right things.
the monkey thing is based on the theory that if you put a bunch of monkeys in a room with typewriters they would put out the works of shakespeare by random chance.
It is a great story amidst so many tragic stories in the news everyday, so I wanted to share it.
so in babble, if you know the points needed, you can "monkey" the word by chance.
Thanks, Scrabbs.
yes, thank you scrabs!
can i use lickety without being a member??
:) :) :) :)
1st re 16 ?

emusing - ca6 = ca + to do a bad thing (maybe a mortal **?) + personal pronoun.
emusing, ca6 is the name of a space voyager or last name of designer oleg
You're welcome, ruru

Hi Fran
too slow at home, too busy at work
Joanne, I come in and out of this chatlog everyday. Just have fun, you don't have to finish, esp the larger grids.
and the near-death experience is missing from the pics, too scared to function!!!!:)
shdy--I almost majored in math---I love math!
me too! (almost majored in math that is)
What NDE, shdy????
me too, had lack of it undergrad, now getting a masters to go with my stats, i love learning it
storm in middle of sea of cortez, 8-10 ft seas, 50+ knot winds, 38-ft boat
= 3 hrs of terror!
Sometimes I loook at my diff eq or linear algebra texts and can't believe that I knew that stuff
yikes, we don't need pictures shdy, there are movies about it already.
Poor shdy! We are glad you made it!
GuTen Abend, Scrabbler Freundin, are you still not finished?
Yes, The Perfect Storm.
Good evening Inge
I am getting closer, Inge. 47 to go.
or the beginning of Dead Calm (i think)
fran, i didn't take pics during the storm, (but a friend got me some diapers after, with directions) the rest of the trip was fun
Hey Mom! I missed your entrance, I guess when I went into the kitchen.
Hi, Moma,d Fran, and Shdy, and whoever else is here

Yeah, I found sc7 and 8 by myself!

Hi, gwenski

Hi Gwenski
Hi Hurshy
better half wasn'[t he scared - he thought the ""mexican"" coast guard would come!!!
hi hursh!
It was a blast, Mom--we were Girl Scouts! We collected stones from the lake and made a campfire, then brought a coffee can to cook upon. We made pancakes! We were on our favorite little island in the lake. We skinnydipped as usual.
Hi! Hi! Hi! **just waves wildly**
and they got spied upon
welcome in Bableland, Hurshy
I am back and nearly 1/2 way need clues for the en words pls
He Gwenski + hursh
i think babbleland is my hometown.
sounds like a wonderful day Scrabbler
tsl. tsk

Hi Phandmd
Yes, as we were about to unclothe for our 2nd dip, a family kayaked past us and came on to "our" island!
phand, en6 means to make into servant or slave
en + peasant
Mine too, hursh
en + Spanish aunt
darn them! di they unclothe too?
yes, Hurshy, there is a certain warmth eminating from here
Oops, Inge doesn't like to hear about the skinnydipping part.
peasant?
inge = mom?
oh the nerve of them, Scrabbler :)
se4 word phand
No, shdy. Their son (looked to be 4yrs old) was playing pirate. Ren + Nut would have been proud. But I was annoyed that they violated our privacy. There are 2 other islands in the lake.
the last ti 6/18, please
got them both now, thanx!
hey, Scrab, I bleong to a n earlier generation
se 4/7 word; sounds like riding the waves

Going to forage for food. BBL
Hi, shady!

Who needs intellect here, Pam? You just need eye-hand coordination!

Thanks, fran, mom, and all
i always try it too mom.
I know, Mom, I tried it too.
Scrabbs - I've just put a pasta recipe you might like in BabAnon. It's on page 32 of my Recipes thread.
Is wine an acceptable substitute, scrab?
day 7 of not smoking....very grumpy, apparently
Congratulations Shdy
bravo shady, for not smoking
wine rocks....does anyone have v-cigarette?
Congrats, shady!!!!!
Red wine contains antioxidants + flavinoids--good for you, Pam.
Good work, shdy. You can do this! Trade one addiction for another.
you know what else is good for you? beans.
Well, I only have white, scrabs. Tomorrow's errands should include liquor store, CVS, and laundry. Wonder what they will include
TY, Jac, I will look.
I love beans, hursh!
Aah, Jacula, you promised to put up a wedding photo
1 week down, 9 to go,til I quit the patches too
WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO, shady
Beans, beans, they're good for your heart. The more you eat the more you fa4!
****making big pot of beans*******pfffffffttt
When I used teh patches, I could not sleep at night with one on. So I removed it at night, and put new one on the morning. Till I forgot one day, and realized I was cured. That was about halfway through month # 2
sa5,12? a5
Sorry, sa5,12 please?
i have been having horrible nightmares
Good for you, Inge!
Good luck, shady! And, yay, INGE

I have nightmares and I don't use a nicotine patch, shdy

sa + i love ice cream w*** cookies
sa5: to speak, in biblical times

Ty for sa5,12---odd word
once i dreamed that my dad was threatening to burn me with a hot iron if i refused to touch a snake (i have a snake phobia).
last nite, had my ex and my mom in mexico in "the storm" eeekl
During sleep I watch the Scrabbler Channel with very vivid, detailed movies, often starring ME!
I I quit some 14 years ago
Eeeewww, snakes!
the real version was my dad and other half
love them both
ok all i quit this one again!!!
then there was the time i dreamed that someone was choking me to death... and enjoying it.
but you did great, Joanne. You found more words than an average grid!
but my excuse this time is new doggie
luckily my medicines help me not have those kinds of nightmares anymore.
**must stir pasta**
in the dream a**hole ex was an **hole, and my mom, of course agreed, said i should be nicer!
tyvm scrab tweety
i have never been happier than telling ex to move the f^%$$out
wait a minute, Scrab, do you smoke???
geesh, those are tough nightmares, all... makes me glad I don't remember my dreams....
No way, Inge---never!
smoke? pant...pant....p0ant...
Who wants pasta? Whole wheat rotini.
for years after WWII I had a recurring dream of being caught in a glass house with divebombers shooting at me
***non-smoker
no thank you, Scrabbler
Yes, you are now, shdy!
hubby and i went out for mussels,n was fun
But you lived through the real WWII nightmare, Inge!
I had whole wheat elbows last night
yes, scrab, i hope to be, 2nd try now
but shdy's nightmares are realted to the attempt to quit smoiking , right
i had whole wheat rotini today! lol
inge - re the wedding photo. I'll see what I can do in the morning. I'm off to bed now, despite all the talk of nightmares that's been going on while I was outside hanging washing out and being almost divebombed by a tawny owl.
Barilla pasta, hursh?
i have allergies, probably allergic to the patch4es
night jac!
Hope the wine helped you sleep through it all last night, Jac!
See you all in about 10 hours or so. Happy Babbling!
Whoa, Jac!
Good, I feel a bit lonely here as the only bride icon
good night, Jacula
pam - it did! No alcohol tonight though!
Byeee. xxx
Hope tonight is successful, too
Wow, Inge, I just looked at your icon and profile--45 yrs on Sept 9th--congrats!!
But I have no wedding photos to share, and never will.
*grumbles*
GORGEOUS, INGE! Congrats, and by all means, leave the photo up!!!!!!!!
Why, hursh?

Love the picture Inge. Happy Anniversary (early)
add opp. of out to end, same length
scrab, re + consonant + fishing ***, it's the stomach lining of a cow.
Sorry, hursh, you are going through a grieving process.
Ty shdy and Fran
no need to be sorry. i just get my grumble out.
It is hard, hursh, but we will survive. ((((HUGS))))))
hursh, love you, for whatever that's worth
thanks, shady :)
i'm sure quitting smoking is way harder!

I took a brief internet stroll, I am back, thanks for the good wishes
in 9 is whiny american singer, whining about nobody liking her
Argh, these last 4 re's are annoying me. Feel free to toss out clues.
Hursh, you will be FINE! You seem to be doing SOOOO well

lol shdy, i'm sorry, but i'm like that all the time when it comes to math! love the info, just not very good at crunching the numbers
second in5?
scrab, not moving?
Oh, hursh.. My anniversary was mid-sept, my ex- dumped me on 9/11, she told me around this time that there were some things to work on--little did I know she was already cheating on me--so this time of year is icky!
2nd in5 is wha6t fran sais
scrabbler, a substance that doesn't react
I miss that word every time!!! Maybe because it is my middle name.
TY, shdy, for your clue, LOL
oh. my anniversary is 9/11. but, i mean, it's ok.
precise, huh? **
pam, that's what the guy i lived with for 4 years did to me.
You seem to be doing better than I, hursh!
we were just shy of 12 years...
but ... i was the one who left ... so it is different.
It stinks, fran, but I guess we move on... Dorens and Scrab and Natasha and others really gave me great advice last year...
But, there is still grieving, hursh....
No, Pam + Hursh, THIS Sept is a great month! Celebrate the end of summer, start of fall. Create new, better memories. (And my birthday is the 8th, so I always like Sept. And it reminds me of the start of school--I always liked the new year.)
i got divorced, (not done yet) was the happiest thing ever
Well, my dog just ate a HUGE meal. I am glad. She really tolerated the surgery and recuperation well.
LOLOL, scrabs.... (((((())))))))))
Good for her, Pam. You have nursed her back to health.
I am open to the possibilities, shady, but not ready to embrace any more change!
Well, me and my ex, to be honest.
i am glad for fall, i love fall. but this is the first time in my life i haven't been involved with a school and had that going on... it's really weird... anticlimactic
Only here, there isn't another dog, so I think she likes being the center...
all i know is when i told him to move, my life improved\
It's just different, hursh.
i went from argumaents every day, to arguments never
i hate the long boring summers, but i miss the excitement of back to school, lol. guess you can't have both.
this is true, shady, getting rid of tension is nice.
I missed an N.....ne5.
That's great, shady
i lost weight, i bought clothes i got my hair cut, i met someone else, i started another degree.....
Great changes, shdy!
Excellent, shady
i became happy!!
ne5's ne4.7 plural, or ne, sounds like the rental car agency,
You created your own happiness, shdy!
TY, dawger!

AAHHH, hot flash--I must run outside for a minute!
