I am so so sorry to hear about the bullying problms. My sister is a psychology prof and perhaps due to my son's experiences they have started some rather extensive research in the US on handling of these problems and communication between the school and parents. If anyone would like to take the survey (it is really quick) your responses will help with the research.... It isn't a fix, I know, but maybe a step in the right direction?

I almost went...had a friend from college that grew up there, and was going to go home with her for a college break...but it didn't work out. I have always regretted not getting there...and my ears and eyes always perk up ( I know I will get there eventually!!) The friend, of course married and lives in the states now..sigh

your son shouldn't be punished for what he has suffered ---sending him to a different school only hurts him and makes it look like the other kid can behave that way. You need to document document document...each contact you have and their responses.
schools need to take responsibility for this it happened regurlarly here at high school the schools dont want to deal with it. I had to deal with it, all fixed now. Dealt with it kiwi style

She hasn't yet founfd a safe parking place or garage for her car (a badger striped Mini Cooper S)... the Uni discourages 1st year students (who are usually 18 ... my daughter is 20) from bringing their cars. Secure parking is only provided for 2nd/3rd year students. She's left our lovely Badger Minnie 'in a sidestreet not far away' and is hoping she'll be okay.
One consolation is that daughter's room is not on ground floor - it's 1st floor (not too far to jump if there's a fire but not first call for any 'prowler'. Oh dear! I really must stop worrying so much, mustn't I?
