Pam, I spent 2 hrs with MAry and her husband last evening. She mostly slept as the intense PT makes her tired.

The older kids are struggling at times, as expected. They want their mommy home.
Of course they want their mommy... it's just so sad...
She had symptoms for 5 wks, then labor was induced 3 wks before the due date, and a MRI revealed 5 brain tumors 2 days after delivery. Brain surgery was done 5 days after delivery and 2 tumors were removed. The others are inoperable.
Oh wow. That is a stressful period for all
It is SO sad, and still surreal to talk about or to see her.

I am sad a lot, not depressed fortunately but afraid of a relapse. I do what I can to help her, her husband and the kids, so I feel some control in a situtation in which we have no control.

here we have pepperidge farm, who make a wholegrain white and an oatmeal that are ok, but what i really like about white bread is its softness....the oatmeal variety comes close to being soft enough

I have a couple of excercise things I must start to use this year..... an airwalker, and a guthy renker ball....
i find if i eat what i like and drink only light beer when i drink beer, i'll gain weight. If I do the same and take the pups out each day for a walk, I lose weight.

I walk past the donut place behind the cooking area and it smells gross that and mac donalds
only problem is that walking my dogs alone is very difficult. They are not well trained, 2 are nearly 80 pounds, my "little" dog is 40 puonds. If someone takes one dog, I can walk the other 2 easily. I've had 2 surgeries after walking all 3!
