What's the point of online fighting? A vast majority of the time you're talking to someone you will never see.
Ignoring requests for clues is a hard one - many reasons why people can't clue - no time, not there, don't have the word etc etc
Frantique, a Very long time babbler had me in tears, when I first started, couldn't believe it!
Sometimes people pop-in and say Hi...and then switch the chat off....as I do......and then don't see anyone talking to them, till its too late!

I went in for a CAT scan because my lung xrays looked bad after my pneumonia. The radiologist spotted the PE.
Calling Dr Hurshy! Yes, there is a risk of bleeding, but frequent blood work (Jellen, you will become an expert in INR's) will put her at the right range.
No theories yet, Scrabbler. All the blood work wasn't back yet.

Lung has healed, btw. I just have scar tissue. The other lung had the PE.
My NJ sister went through this in May 2006---right arm swelled up. She had 2 large clots in the right subclavian vein and internal jugular vein. She was on Coumadin x 6 mo. Ultrasound showed absorption of the clots. No cause was ever determined.

my husband had PE's in both lungs. Turned out they came from a clot behind his knee. Coumadin for a few months, then no problems. That was six years ago.
One of my favorite authors, Richard Carlson, of the "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" books, died at 44 of a PE in Dec 2006.
thus demonstrating the problem with the philosophy "don't sweat the small stuff" - some stuff is big stuff.
