In my early twenties I was visiting a family whose children were expected to eat everything put before them. We were presented with ta7 for pudding. I had to both eat it and pretend to enjoy it.

Does anyone have experience with what to do when one has left the car window open in a deluge and the driver's seat is sodden, and also the front carpet? I can put the house dehumidifier in there, and also turn the air conditioning and heat all the way up, but will that still leave dampness and mildew? I'm trying to avoid the cost of going to a pro, but not if I'll be living with mold spores forever.

One of the main holdbacks is the odor of fish. I love fish that is unfishy smelling... love shellfish: lobster, crab, Alaskan crablegs, oysters and clams... but have pulled away from them too since there was a very bad outbreak of hepatitis from raw bivalves...
