I can't get my icon to behave
what do you see?
weren't u "darning" because u can't change yr stonehenge icon?
ty west, Dee, nan
no.. I can't change my unperson from yesterday's grid
yr unperson?
I want my stonehenge to show up..can you see it?
I can, west
yes, perfectly, I thought that was the one u wanted to change
yep
oh well as long as the rest of you can see it
I'm going to restart
It's in your profile, west
aroot
ca 6/21
book of tickets
isn't that a French word?
oui
where is jilli??
hey mrp :-)
hi une
only have one 7 so far and ca, ma and ou for 6's
howdy :-)
hi une!! **hugs** what is the theme today for profile
am 7 was called nan
one more time
I have ra6
Yes !!
haven't found that one -- just the no 7-8
the theme is druids
yes -- have the ra 6 as well (missed it)
mo 6x2
ras, that will assist you in getting the no7 and 8... ra6'es are no7
the am7 sounds like an ozzie sheep
no7 is a piece of music...?
and now to the grid
sounded like a car to me :)
do you have the animal ra6?
ty ras my first word
i like the sheep version!
yes -- chopin comes to mind :)
aren't the first few no's night dwellers?
hi and bt
nbt
thanks rasta, for the 7, and 8, now nbs
hi josh are you married yet?
oohh, tx for the no7/8
sunday night west
ooh getting excited??
so r u gonna babble on yr honeymoon? ( u don't have to answer that)
think I'm going to have to list for the last few
well I certainly did
sure, i fear that i am not shouldering my share of the burden in the last few days
best you stay away
oh wow -- congrats, josh
honeymoon is not until wintertime, and it should be nice
what kind of wedding josh? small and simple or lots of attendants?
about 100 guests, so not small
josh, where is the little old church?
downtown toronto, berkeley church
get your groomsmen in line and your job is done
wondered if it might be behind the Eaton Centre?
i know it's early but i'm getting twitchy...can i pls have a clue for the co6 and cr5?
it's not at the eaton centre, more to the east in downtown core
joshies getting married!!!
co 6/36
gort, it is never 'early' for a clue!
ok, not familiar with it josh
we need to throw him a bachelor party
i agree mrp
too late, my mates threw me one tonight
wouldn't that be fun west
I'd like a clue for the am 7 -- has me stumped
cr + we own this so it is **rs... switch the vowels around
co6 + jo ... bring together
and here you are on babble..was it fun?
it was fun - i'm trying to finish the grid before reality i.e. fitful sleep happens
ahhh, twitching stopped, much relieved, thanks mrp
glad i could help!
no fitful sleeping allowed..just relax and think happy thoughts
am7... do you know the aussie sheep with the incredible wool?? a + m***** but the vowel after the m is 4th vowel instead
the fitful sleeping will be related more to the alcohol consumption than to my state of mind
I see. Nice cup of tea then
me**** wool is the most used wool in the world for blankets
so they gave you a bachelor party??
ty mrp
it certainly feels that way mrp
ma 6/21
thanks mrp for am7
do you have your eyebrows in tact??
i think i am going to call it a night - best of luck with the grid everyone
i will try to recuperate for tomorrow's festivities
sleep well josh
see ya josh! relax darling... the wedding is all about HER!
ooh found an ro 6
all my parts are where i left them, so i'm ahead of the game
for now josh! for now!!
CONGRATS JOSH
ty nan
usually, it is an eyebrow removal... half a head shave and tar & feather! well, that is what they do to blokes here in the bush
and the headshave is a grandpa cut usually
10 to go and definitely listing this time!
my hen's night was out of control! I had no idea what the girls were gonna do, but at least I got to the wedding on time.... ok, half hour late
doing well nan
fireworks
on ya dee!!
wtg Dee
yay dee !!
ty
wtg dee
may I help anyone before I leave?
ok -- stuck on the last 5
tu 6, please?
yes pls dee...the last 2 ms and the first no?
oh -- just saw the am 7 clue -- ty
tu + what Dale Earnhardt does for a living ...change the last vowel to shape mouth makes in exclammation
mo 5/14... grieve for a loved one who has died
thanks dee
ty dee
of course, thanks volley, don't worry about the other mo, i got it
mo 6/24 change movie name.. - Rouge ..... change the middle consonant
lickety just got home! yay, bbs
definition for mo 6/24 is: sheepskin that has been processed to resemble another fur, especially seal or beaver. ------------------------------------ -------------------------------------- ------
bye mrp
thx volley, guess it's a heckofalot cheaper than getting yr mitts on a seal
ne 4/7 ne + _ _ ( ? I Were a Rich Man) song title
thanks dee always wondered what that was
lol
mo 6/21?
Stupid question, how do you know what the stats are if Lickety is not up?
mo 6/21 mo + abbreviation for state Rhode Island + opp of off
ozzie women on the other hand, are free and easy with their beavers (sorry, that was a real tone-lowerer, wasn't it)
mo6 red
ty -- another new one
jo 5?
add male sheep, cyb
new one for me mo 6 21 is an open helmet of 16th and 17th centuries
ty dee and ty for mentioning my state
just need the jo 5 and the no 6 now
jo 5/22 jo + what one does to a door with a battering item to get in ..
no 6/21 no + a penny
would you think I was an idiot if I asked for the left corner c ?
ty ty ty
left corner c was really tough... cr 5/14 ... cr + letter used in texting for "you" + either _ _
*!* ta da *!* -- now I can go to bed -- been up since 5:30

thanks jilli was cleaning the kitchen
good morning all, anychance of a clue for the 8 please?
it's musical jenny
think Chopin
can you give me the stats west
sure thought you had them..no 8/50
ty west for the no8
lovely, got it thanks
you're welcome
hi jenny and all
jilli I had so much trouble with my icon..it refused to switch over
jenny take the vowel off the end for a 7
wel, it's here now, west!
everyone but me could see it lol
everyone but I ?
hmm, I wonder -- me or I?
but I sounds weird
it does
haz would know but she's never here any more
busy with the wedding I'd guess
I have to go to bed!
west, have you ever visited Stonehenge?
oh and josh is getting married this Sunday..had his bachelor party tonight
wedding?
no I haven't jenny ..would love to
I remember she mentioned her daughter was getting married in August
I've been to Stonehenge -- twice -- in 1936 and 1968
it looks amazing
It used to be absolutely wonderful, but now it is rather commercialised and you are no longer allowed to walk around the stones. It's a pity, but a necessity.
poor josh will likely have a giant hangover tomorrow
oh that is too bad..that's what I'd like to do
we could go right in when I was there, jenny -- so long ago. Why do a few people have to spoil things for everyone else?
josh said he didn't think he was doing enough re the wedding..I told him it was best if he stayed out of it lol
back in the early 70's we could walk on the Parthenon too
you're right, west.
best he got his groomsmen in line
can somebody clue the top left C? A cr5, I think
Hi Jilli .... cr + belonging to us
The belonging to us spelt diferent ...
oh, thanks norma -- had me puzzled there for a bit!
I have seen it from the road since they stopped you going right in but haven't ventured any further parly because it cost £7.50 each to get in!
I suppose they need the fee for the upkeep
which is pretty funny since it's a ruin
I would like to announce with a great deal of pride that I finally have nbt
that bottom middle a was my downfall
would never have got that Norma without your help
nbt and nbs here, over halfway and heading for bed -- goodnight/evening/day all and ...*poof
good night jilli sweet dreams
good morning
hi ruby purple fingers
hello westford!
and after all that work, I only got 4 jars!
what a nice bunch of clues in the chog, those no's were brilliant!
what happened?
I use a food mill to remove the seeds but I guess they just weren't very juicy
I liked the no8
we don't have very many musical words
me, too, but what a small grid for a Saturday
are you up extremely late or very early?
the first one
can't sleep so here I am
perhaps it's better than sleep
what did we do without babble?
I can't remember, lol
ooh, I just got an o6 on my own
good job
small pleasures!
I was happy with that one too
a real word lol
for a change
I can't believe my husband has moved his aperitif time from 11AM to 10:30! Too bad for him, I'm not joining him
that is early..
he must be an early riser
his eyes are bad and he gets up at 5AM, so can't read as long as he would like -- but still.....
and he would eat lunch at 11 now, if I would agree
but I make him wait 'til 12 as we have a big breakfast on Sat and 'til 6 for dinner, although he'd like to eat at 5
that's more like brunch
old age is no joke!
no kidding
and since the big breakfast kills my appetite, you can imagine my interest in the other meals.....
we eat late husband's mother used to have dinner on the table at 5 p.m. not here lol
it breaks up the day too much and keeps me from seeing neighbors, etc
I thought all Europeans dined late
and took 3 hour lunches
they do and we don't, so when they're cleaning up after lunch, I'm starting dinner
so civilized
did you get a new housekeeper yet?
the only nice thing that happened this week as, when looking for something else, I found a large drawful of my old artwork from '68-'78, that my son had carefully put aside for me
oh how nice
our temp finished Friday and I'm hoping that the "real" one will start on Monday. This house gets very dirty, very fast!
drawerful* bad typing
I knew that's what you meant
and the temp only worked 5 or 6 hours a week!
that's hardly enough
drawful sounds like a portmaneau word
lol
not with two long-haired dogs and a literally dirty garden (the sod didn't take!)
an awful drawful
or fully dreadful
you can't imagine the dog hair and footprints
I thought sod always worked..we just had some stuff sprayed on
hydro seed I think it's called
I take care of the kitchen, cooking and laundry but can't do a lot more than that
that's enough !!
I'm ready to paint that section of lawn green. Husband wants to pave it over!
our new brick patio is beautiful
it is very shady and the sod just turned to a muddy carpet
only have less than half the yard for lawn now
who laid the bricks? a professional? and are they in a zigzag pattern?
nobody who looks at the garden says "Nice grass!"
they notice the flowers
yes very professional and not zigzag. started out that way and we didn't like it so they started over
I had better go now with less than half done. But it's been very nice chatting with you westford; I hope you can get some sleep !
what is between the bricks?
nice to see you too ruby
some kind of sand..they did a fantastic job
I'll post pictures
the entire yard had to be graded and you wouldn't believe the roots
I would love that, but unfortunately, we have to continue the flat stones from the pathway or it will look too odd
helllo all
you have my e-mail, yes?
it's in my profile
hi and bye saddy
yes I do I'll send you pics
*poof*
hi saddy
{{west}}
((ruby))
time for me to hit the hay
*poof*
sheesh tiugh grid
tough
good morning all... who shrunk my babble?!
fireflies. Not too hard, a bit too small.
Only 76 words and 13 of the tiles are vowels. Wheeeee! Who do I have to pay to get a decent grid on a Saturday?
unfortunately i believe doc just lets them generate randomly
Me Me. Pay me!!
(Cant do anything about the grid, but needs a cash injection....)
Weird odds then. They have been small on Saturday for weeks now. Hi Hursh. Hi Soodle.
Hi Hursh, Molls :-)
chance is a funny thing
*Quickly checks Lottery tickets*
.............(holding breath..........)
the lottery is simply a voluntary tax on the poor - another example of class warfare.
Breathe Soodle, I'm still a peasant.
I know, Hursh, but I have been doing the same set of numbers for years now, and I am petrified that the day I stop doing them,.....the inevitable will happen.
Well, the lottery gives me a chance at a dream a few times a week. I can't knock that.
What Molly said!
sigh.
maybe you need a different dream. maybe your sense of what a lot of money would do for your life is inaccurate.
Meanwhile, I have the Summer cold from hell, so it's hot liquids and old movies for me today. *Sniff*
or you could find a friend who would do what my dad used to do for people - they paid him the money they used to put on lottery tickets, and then when they felt like winning, he'd give it all back to them.
this grid makes me want macaroni and macaroons
Oh thanks for the clue Hursh. : )
clue? what clue?
One of your words, less two letters.
LOL, yeah, thanks Hursh. That gave me the color.
oh, i see. :)
Three letters
That was quite a good idea your Dad had with the lottery players, Hursh. But, I think I will continue with my quest for millions :-)
GMorning Babble Peoples!! :0)
Hi Mary
Hey Soodle!
I'm with you on the lottery.....cha-ching!
Along with making sure my family is taken care of, I have a philanthropic use for lottery winnings, so I figure I would put the money to good use. I have no desire for fancy cars and rich stuff.
Seriously, me too....I am quite comfortable with my lifestyle... After making sure that my family is taken care of.... I would help others with the money...my fav is foster children..
That's good Maryte. There is a lot of room for improvement in the care of foster children. Sometimes I think foster animals are treated better.
they have so little.....the highest expectation these children have is a decent meal and someone who cares...you rarely see foster kids with a pair of Nikes or a Dora backpack....
<---------- hanging head in shame, as dreams of luxury yachts, fast cars and a debauched life fly out the window.....
There is a running theme in the TV show "Bones" where two of the main characters were foster kids. They touch on the subject of what it's like to grow up that way. I give the writers some credit for using that to create awareness of the situation.
it's highly admirable to want to help foster children. it's just, if you set out with that goal in mind and tried to figure out the best way to help, playing the lottery would not be high on the list.
Not that name brands make life better, its just they know they will never own what our children take for granted, I want to set up scholarships for these kids....Soodle..you know what you would do...you are too nice...
<--- Knows that Soodle would be donating to worthy causes in between yacht trips and rides in her fast car.
I already help these kids Hurshy.... winning the lottery would really expand what I can do.....
O.k. I know Soodle would take them for rides on the yacht and fast cars!!!
Good for you Maryte. (meanwhile I consider myself to BE a worthy cause :-)...)
my sister took in foster kids..adopted two litle brothers.. gave me two beautiful nephews
haha!! If I win, I will get you a scholarship!!
God bless her Ivesy! It is a wonderful calling....
Thanks, Maryte. To Barbados, or Hawaii, please!!
University of Hawaii??
Ivesy - thats fantastic. I took 2 little boys from Chernobyl one summer. It was very difficult, but so rewarding.
or University of Fiji??
yes, it is difficult.. she had to give up quite a few that we became attached to. dont think people realize how many kids out there need a family
But Ivesy..she sent them onward with the experience of someone who really cares and what a real family is like...
true.. she would have adopted them all lol!
I think dreams are a good thing. Life would be very bland and mundane without them.
here, here Molly!! So true.....
i dream im out of debt.. in the meantime its a nightmare
(((Ivesy)))
We still get letters from the two lads we took for the summer. They are both 19 now, and doing very well. They still speak highly of their summer here. I think my own kids benefited more than the 2 fostered kids.
Letters? You actually get letters? Not texts that say "how r u". I am overjoyed that people do indeed still write letters. Yay!
Actual letters Moll! Its a joy to receive them, in among all the bills. I know the feeling, Ivesy!
morning all

C's Confiscated! 5 left
Hi Une :)
go min!
morning, annie :-)
good morning ((Une)), we had a storm earlier this week. Not enough to green things up though. Still so dry. We are suppose to get some rain today
Hello Uneaixoise! How are you doing? Welcome to grid
way to go Min
T's Totaled! 4 left
we finally got a great amount of rain
we got about half an inch yesterday -- wonderful! The few drops we got last week dried up FAST in the 100 degree temps . . .
of course, because I wanted my garden a day before which I had not done all suller
wow Min, you are killing this grid
That is a good amount Une. Yes, it has been hot.
lol, it works that way, Sue
we broke the Nashville record for the day on Wednesday -- heat index of 114 . . .
oh, my favorite chore is in the grid. ir 4/4
I need to take a break from slaughtering the grid. I'll be back later on for my last four words & to help clue
for the first time, I actually have ripe figs on my potted fig tree -- and they're really good! :-)
wow Une, that is hot.
see you soon Min, enjoy your day
I cannot imagine 114 degrees
hi and bye, min
her in NC it is hot also
yesterday was a wonderful break
bye Min
back up to the high 90's by monday
Annie, that evening it was still in the 90s at 10:00 when I took my dogs out to pee -- ugh
Hello all. It has been a hot, dry summer in many places. My garden suffered for that, even with me watering it.
glad you've gotten some relief, sue! Looks like Charlotte had quite a storm yesterday . . .
hey, molly :-)

bye Crossy, have to go.
hello everybody
hego, are you still here???
hi ruby
((RUBY)))
Hi all. Not a darn pluot in the whole grocery store. : P
what the heck is a pluot?
{{wv, molly and crossy}} big group hug!
Apparently it is some kind of plum/apricot combo. The word was in the grid yesterday and people were talking about them. Me, I've never heard of them.
sounds as good as a chocolate martini to me, molly!
Chocolate martini...*Gag*
ahh frankenfruit! i was blown away the first time i saw brociflower
mmmmmm chocolate.........
You know the old saying, it's not nice to fool with Mother Nature.
indeed,
crash, bang, lightning, thunder!!!!!!!
our ontario fresh peaches are out!! yaa no more crap trucked from the states and ripened on I 95 lol
I try to stay on Ma Nature's good side. I find if I'm good to Her, She's good to me.
it's funny, crossy, we like brocollini. Cook it to death, saute with garlic and olive oil. It's wonderful
never seen brocolini
Fresh peaches are a little bit of heaven. So juicy, you have to eat them over the sink.
I just yelled at the neighbor-children "Shut up!" and the screaming stopped immediately. Husband was very embarrassed.....
yup,i have a beard,so i make a total disaster of myself when i eat fresh peaches:)
We get white peaches here, molly, and I've been making preserves with them while they last. They're the best
I guess I'm a grumpy person, but it gets very tiresome when children scream all the time. I don't know how their parents stand it.
.......tomatoes from the garden....mmmmmmm
poor grumpy ruby..have a nice martini
what i dearly miss are the sweet pea pods right from the garden
I have the most tomatoes this year that I've ever had, enough to give away! And they're huge.
tis a good year for tomatoes and cuccumbers
i remember as kids we would sit in the garden for hours eating peas
I loved growing peas but then, after the second year, developed a severe allergy to the pods and the raw peas, severe enough to need an adrenalin shot
:(
one year, since we've lived here, all the tomatoes in this valley turned black. Very weird
I used to love shelling peas and eating the occasional raw pea.....
gads! where are the words in this bloody grid?
I can't even reach half! (but I couldn't yesterday, either)
half? i cannot get past 20!
when I was a kid, my friend and I used to steal figs from a neighbor's garden. Nowe I have an enormous fig tree, beautiful, but it only gives ripened fruit sporadically
I have 26 left.....
ahh just found that masked critter of the night
hi movieman
I have 41 left
My tomatoes didn't do so well this year. Only got a few and I don't see any new growth. Ah well.
mine are so laden that they are flling down. Last year, I got none, just cherry ones, tiny but many
good morning every one. My tomatoes r quite good this year especially the cherry tomatoes
I don't know enough about gardens to understand, but I don't think it's up to me, somehow.....
falling*
where do you live, marija?
I need to prepare my soil better next year. I enjoy the process though, even if the yield is sparse.
my husband thinks it's cheaper to buy them every week, but there's no pleasure in that!
and, no matter what, home-grown tomatoes taste better!
i live just out side Montreal, it is on the west side of Montreal island in a small town called Kirkland
The only place around here that I can get produce as fresh as home grown is at the Amish market. Their baby potatoes are SO good.
as crossy said about peaches, they don't have to ripen on the truck
your name looks Finnish or Lithuanian, so I thought you'd be in Europe, Marija. Presumptuous Ruby (sorry)
many people around here grow their own potatoes and they are reputedly, much better
My father is from Lithuanian, my mother from Ireland, we immigrated from Yorkshire england into Ontario, then i met my husband who is from Montrea so i am here now
half, yay!
$2,50 a basket..crossy is in peach heven!
well, marija, it is nice to see you here. My husband's antecedents came from Lithuania, too, but in the 19th C.
that is a good price, crossy, you should "put some up" for winter
I have tried growing potatoes, but apparently, they need cool nights, which we don't have in the summer.
i have never done preserves in the last 15 years,i am out of practice
thank you Ruby, it is a small world, i think we r all related at some point
boiling all those darn jars and rubber rings is all i can remember lol
and the wax plugs
I've never had home-grown potatoes, but even the ones in the market are better than American ones (but it doesn't make up for the terrible beef!!!!!)
does anyone have the mo 6/21?
not me, ru ru, I must be a mo5/12
m+ name of constellation
ty teach
thank you teach.
I don't bother with that, crossy, just make the jam or jelly, get the jars really full, invert them and hope for the best.
I sure couldn't find that one
Nobody's ever been poisoned here (although I some times hoped so)
lol, hope to hear those lids pop
ty teach!
that is a very nice thing to say, marija, but I think crossy has the most distinguished roots!
coon
uh oh, making marija a vodka smush in the pb! lol
problem is now i have no equipment, will need a case of jars, lids and rings and the deep boiler pot...peaches will cost 10 dollars a pint by the time im done lol
I don't do it that elaborately, crossy, just do small batches at a time. I boil the jars and lids for a little while and the worst thing that ever happens is a little mold forms and I just scoop it off! That's why I'm so tough
The cost of all that stuff is why I freeze leftover fresh fruit.
lol ruby makes her own pennicillin
yes, molly, except my fridge/freezer, appears to be dying.
you betcha
from what the locals say, that mold won't hurt you.....it's a little bit disgusting, but I wear gloves
sorry , pushed wrong button, was trying a new word. Crossy what r your roots if i may ask? thank you ruby for the vodka smush
though i love the minds eye view i have right now of rows of preserves, jams, jellies, bread and butter pickles, small taters, chilli sauce all lined up in rows,..corn peas...
crossy is VERY distinguished, not the child of immigrants like most of us!
crossy: I worry about vermin in the pantry....
That would be the pantry of my friends in Pennsylvania. They have a small farm and they put up fruit, vegetables, spaghetti sauce and salsa.
for a New York girl like me, "putting up" fruit is a delicious and strange pleasure
i am of the melbourne clan marjia, trace our tree back to just before the year 1000 in france MAL-BOURN but we were big in the 1700,s and 1800,s in england, dirty old men we were for the most part, chasing princess round the castle lol
am7?
kind of a dubious fame at best
hello shirlock, you must be kidding
crossy: I think my husband must be related to your clan
lol
whoa, yes u r quite distinguished, crossy
a + good ***ning + a rh*** has a big horn on it's nose
thx molly
I had a biz friend from SA who, when asked if he had a criminal record when entering Australia said,"Is it still necessary?"
ty for that am 7 molly
ty molly
Need a clue for ar5. Anyone?
Got it
smell, kenny
hit me with a fish, shir
Bye everyone, must get some work done
Ruby your friend from SA is a smart ass. I would get along with him just fine.
lol, like i say, dingos and convicts..a dubious honor at best:) but i love all my aussie friend,,just pullingn yer leg
bye marija, it was nice to see you!
thank you every one
I had a lot of fun travelling with my "factory guys" when I was working
hey crossy, 43 words, nya nya nya
:P
I think 43 is it!
Jeeze. 31 American special ops service people were killed in a helicopter shoot down. Are we EVER going to get out of this pointless war?
now i am going to make it my goal in life to get 44 words:P
that is horrible, molly!
happy to help, crossy
not to worry when the country goes bankrupt, they will have to pull the troops
molly, between you and me, we could probably settle this deficit problem: legalize drugs, raise taxes on the rich and end these futile wars!
lol, make weed legal and the taxes would pour in
exactly!
Oh but Ruby, they will never raise taxes on the rich. The rich run the country. And yes, it's high time we AT LEAST legalize marijuana.
did anyone (refering to Crossy's note) see Saving Grace with Bl;enda Blethyn, one of my faves
Nope, haven't seen it.
opium growing finances the taliban. So drug companies make money with synthetic opium. How stupid is that?
legal booze can be more evil than legal weed can ever be
Legalize opium and the war in Afghanistan would end (taliban would run out of money), painkillers would be virtually free, and the drug company lobbies would lose their power
My ex used to say he would much rather meet a stoner in a dark alley than a drunk. The worst thing the stoner will do is steal your twinkies. : )
Ruby is not popular!
crossy thinks what legal weed in grams,1/4 oz and half oz would do for his convienienvce store monthly totals:)
that's so true, moll
You are popular with me Ruby. It's high time the drug lobbies and the insurance leeches get squashed.
I could grow it for you, crossy, in my potager
lol
here an oz or less right now is just a ticket, not a felony like of old
I think the drug lobbies are responsible for the border problems with Mexico and the war in Afghanistan! Next, they'll start monitoring my e-mails!!! hahahah
lol,as long as it is not all in little gram baggies
the whole thing makes me angry
err, ruby, here the powers that be can request from your isp provider a list of every sitre you have been to and everythin gthing you did there
OMG
law is less than a year old
I think you could commit a murder in France and they'd say "Oh, she had a difficult childhood"
not that I'm considering it, or anything lol
but they are very close to legal weed,so we will not care lol..if the doctor will let me smoke it that is:((
if some law-enforcement geek wants to read all of this sh**, "have at it!"
Sadly, the word is full of enablers and excuse makers.
right now on most days, good ole fresh air can be an adventure lol
this is probably a (gin) martini talking, but too bad
and, on this note, I have to make dinner.
i love it when ruby gets all fiesty after her nightly martini:)
43, crossy, 43! I'll be back after dinner to check on your progress.
lol,ill shall do my best
at least I'm not yelling at you to be quiet (like the neighbors, who, BTW, have been quiet since I shouted at them)
hah, 44!
45!
46! setting the bar higher, crossy!
*poof*

bfn Crossy
ok, sorry, I got distracted by other things. I am leaving on Monday, hego, and returning next Sunday.
Hi Sue
Just wondering where in NJ you're going
hi again, hego :-)
my dad lives in Millington
but I will be driving, so will have my car
Not familiar with that. Is it north?
near Morristown
so yes
Aha! northwest Jersey.
Nice up there.
north central, anyway
it is - his house is on the top of a ridge, so when you look out his living room window all you see is woods
he's near the intersection of 287 and 78
Busy area
interstates are busy but the towns are small
are you in south Jersey?
I'm down on the Shore, near Asbury Park
oh, ok, we used to go to Point Pleasant when I was a kid
Very congested this time of year
Can't wait for Labor Day
It's the locals favorite holiday. lol
I'll bet! We always took our vacation in August because my dad said by that time the water was nice and warm (and it was :-)
true
And less crowded than JUly too
last time i was there was in the mid 60s; I'll bet it's changed a lot since then!
Yes, it was nicer then.
And way less expensive.
we usually just went for the day, with a picnic lunch, so the main expense was parking (and gas, which was very cheap back then)
nice
anyway I am headed out for a while, see you later!
hello babble friends. a quick lunch break on a busy saturday...how is everyone?
Hi Trif
hello! Rather grateful to dr. god today - a nice short grid so I won't get sidetracked for too long. so much to do today!
Need to get lunch. bbl
crossy back and munching lunch of seared chicken breast strips, coated in my famouse pulled pork sweet and spicy sauce
humpf. I finally have time to babble, and there is no one to talk to! bummer....
howdy trif:)
hello
howdy sadie
howdy crosshair
howdy!!! so excited to see you both!
how's the family, cross? Elegant and the boy doing well?
both doing fine trif;) and how about you and your clan?
mostly well, thank you! Summer is my VERY busy season, and this year has been more busy than last, so that's been a challenge. Primo is SO excited to be heading off to college soon, but he has had a tough summer due to a very troubling bout with Lyme disease that really knocked him for a loop. He is down to just 116 lbs, which is a light weight for an 18 year old, obvs.
lyme disease? from ticks right?
he does seem to be doing much better lately, and managed a full dinner last night, so thats good. Yes, from a deer tick bite. It was a CLASSIC bullseye - honestly, the doctor said they could have put a photo in a text book
yes a healty 18 year old boy should be in around 150-160
healthy
mind you, he has always had a "body by kermit" but it is getting SCARY
give him supplimental protein shakes with meals
you can get them at pharmacy
eating isn't the problem....er...."retaining" the meals is
mm:(
anyway...as I said, he is doing much better this week, especially the last couple of days, so I am hopeful
and it has been SO FUN getting him ready to go off to his new college adventure. Getting dorm supplies, registering for classes, etc.
scary time for the kids, but once they get first year done it is all good
yes, I agree. I remember so well the real mix of anticipation and dread fear. And then going back for sophomore year was a breeeeeeze
crossy, quick canadian question -do you guys have the same Discovery Channel programming up there that we have in the States? i.e., is it "shark week" for you all too?
they can focus on specific targets and that will be perfect for my son when he finishes high school
yes we do trif
crossy loves discovery and history channel
is shark week a big deal up there? man, it sure is here, much more than I ever would have guessed!
if i could get those 2 and amc alnoe in a three pack,i would toss all the rest
alone
semi big..
hmmm. I think I would add in bravo, and that would be my dream offering...
yes,i think i could bring it up to a 5 pack..the rest is garbage
whoops, there goes the timer! Back to work for me. LOVELY to check in with you, albeit briefly, my dear crossy....my best wishes to you, and to the family.
tc trif:)
and blessings to you and yours
I'd add the Science Channel and maybe National Geographic, but I like your list :-)
hello, back to try to find 29 impossible words
hi, ruby! I only have 28 and already some of them were impossible :-P
perhaps I shall amuse myself by making up some words, like mootif (a cow theme)
{{sue}}
finished (1/2 way at least) with my post-prandial chores
good for you, ruby! I slept in and am just finishing my breakfast (!)
no chance of sleeping in around here!
all I've done today (besides babbling and reading) is cook and wash pots
If Ru were here he would say "Udderly terrific word Sue" : P
do you have the lone e?
well, that is two more things than I have done (unless you count putting the yogurt on my cereal as cooking)
eeew, molly
hi folks
close enough, sue
hi welki
ec4 a color Ruby
I do: ec4/6, pale tan
hi, welki!
slap me with a mack!
Hi Welki
I do not, however, have any words from the j or from the central o
except the of5 fish that i just found :-P
would you like clues or stats, for once, I have both
**** in holy matrimony Sue
oh look! You can go to the RIGHT from that J! (thx, molly)
ou6, what you'd wear to the ceremony
you would think I would know that one, being as I've done it so many times :-P
thx, ruby!
Shush Sue. You are not Elizabeth Taylor.
Or Zsa Zsa. I think she got married more times than Liz.
elizabeth taylor wilding burton fisher burton something or other +++
true :-)
I've never gotten the Burton twice thing. I would think once would be enough for anyone.
from what I've read, they were obsessed with each other.....
do I read trash or what?
I have a friend here who got divorced and then remarried the same guy - it's working for her...
I have a friend in SA who did the same thing, with somebody else in the middle, but she's miserable now
oh and thanks to molly ad ruby I have nbs and nbt
did you get the stupid co6/36? I was just monkeying around
Oh see, therein lies the downfall. Whenever anyone uses the word "Obsessed" look out. It's one of my red flags for instability.
with my friend I think the first marriage was brief, and they were quite young; she also married someone else but they've been together almost 20 years now (the second time)
Wasnt the other husband Mike Todd - always thought he suioted her best?
ahah, molly, I am only obsessed with finding the names of the 7th dwarf and the 8th reindeer! hahah
right, deetha, I forgot about him
no co6 here but I am just starting
Sue, I'm guessing that your friend's husband is not a raging alcoholic. That's what I don't get about Taylor marrying Burton twice.
but wasn't she, also?
It's possible Ruby, although I have never read that about her.
from what I can tell he is not. I don't know him well but he seems nice (every time I see him he is working on their farm)
DH says that he once saw them together when he was at a game park in SA and they were roaring drunk and roaring!
ruby!!! 56!!:P
oh no! that crossy is too smart!
And the race continues!!!
hello hego, nice to see you; I missed you earlier
lol,she will win i am sure,i have 15 min then must head to work
I'll only stay 15 mins, crossy, and if I can't get 7 more, that's it!
co6/36 please?
and she has had her martini(crossy is noit allowed his for 8 more hours) :((
Hi Ruby!
<--- Is starting to think Ruby is an incognito celebrity. Paul Simon, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton...
co6, like what liz and richard did, twice
co + **** in holy matrimony
lol
no no, I didn't see them. Much before me in DH's life
ah, thx, ruby!
Thanks Molly
I've only known a couple of celebrities back in my jazz groupie days....
gee, i'm more than half way!
Thanks ruby too
You're welcome Betty Anne
hi bettyanne
Hi ruby
and hi, betty!
gorgeous picture, btw, betty
------monkeying my brains out!
crossy is stalled, time to catch me ruby!:)
Monkey, Crossy!!
only 51
Thanks
Fireworks for me. Bye all and thanks for your help. Have a great day.
yay, betty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
YAY!!! Betty
hoorah betty anne!
*Adds to Sue's made up words. Notif, a negative style of decorating.
I love when I make up a word and voila!
lol,molly!
and then the occasional Fr word....mo6/24 baaaa
and with 59 words i must head to work and give the lady a flower for her hair for a race well played
oooo Ruby!
thx, ruby!
you win, crossy!
Bye Crossy
tc all and happy babbling...poink
whenever I see French words in the grid, I type them in, just in case
I feel like a mo5/12
bye, crossy!
thx for that one too, ruby :-)
me too
hahah
I give up! Good night everybody
I hope tomorrow is a big one
night, ruby!
Night Ruby!
afternoon babblers!
Hi Skinny
hi, eva!
heh, as im eating a chocolate chip cookie. ;)
well, if you only eat one, I raise my hat to you1
you!
Quick, eat some salad and do that diet math thing!
(still working on the da** shift key on this rubber keyboard)
my mom made them + sent them home for hubby, but he doesnt really eat them. honestly, theyre not that good!
still jealous
heh, molly, already had a side salad with my jr cheeseburger from wendys for lunch. ;)
<--- Instantly depressed at the thought of a chocolate chip cookie that doesn't taste good
something like that I would take to work and give to the graduate students :-)
yup
mom made them from one of those buckets of dough you buy from school fundraisers. the flavor is ok at best, but i prefer my cookies slightly underdone, and these just arent soft enough for my taste...
Oh, say no more. Fundraiser food. Ickity.
thats what i do whenever i bake at home. keep a small plate for hubby + roomie (and myself) and take the rest to work for the coworkers.
OK, I am up to 46 requests in gardens of time. better play again :-)
Jo5 anyone. pls
jo + butting animal
nm tx
silly word
this is a hard puzzle...i thought it was gonna be easy because there are so little bit of words in it!
the little ones are always mean.
and tricky
Fireworks for me!
i cant even imagine many 6 letter words in there, let alone 7 and 8!!
Evil, nasty, tricksy small grids.
great job hego...proof that it can be done :)
I couldn't have done it without my monkeys.
They were hard working today
Clues anyone before I go?
Bye till tomorrow, then.
Poof!
hullo
Hi, jes!
how goes, uusue?
I've been following your blog (hope you don't mind) and see that you have been under the weather - hope you are feeling better!
don't mind at all :) antibiotics are being most helpful!
I'm doing well, jes, taking my son to see my dad next week
sounds fun. bruce and i are going down to see his grandpa tomorrow
nice. where is grandpa?
about 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive, so not too bad
bruce goes down monthly to help with bills and errands and stuff
ah, good. My dad is in NJ so it is quite a trek from here (IL)
wow. hope you get to stay a while!
we'll be gone for 6 days, spend two days on the road, so about 4 days with him
how old is your son?
21
and my dad is 90
ah, no porobs with long car ride then :)
not at all, although he was quite good about it even when little
i was imagining that trip with a 5 year old...
I would pile him in the back seat with his gameboy and a lot of books, and a miner's helmet (toy one) with a light so he could read in the dark, and he was fine
excellent
anyway, i am off for a bit, bbl!
enjoy your aftrenoon!
Hi! Just starting as I was doing things like dusting and putting away stuff.
hi all, and my phantom is crouton
I also like crouton but nothing shaking for it.
i do not care for stale bread on my salad
hi all, back from a lovely time at the beach
did it rain?
no
(we got rain here, and no beach, lol)
where are you BDG?
tojour
Bon jour : )
michigan, near detroit (okay, there's prolly a beach around here somewhere)
then you must look for one, Gwen
we have lots of little lakes and some of them have tiny little beaches
I much prefer beaches with an ocean.
must mostly private property
do they have tiny little people on the beaches :)
(used to swim a lot as a kid, now don't even have a bathing suit)
Yes, under little tiny umbrellas
yes, usually under 6 LOL
:_
top row done, woo
meant :)
help with corner C pls
cr + two diff vowels + one of the two consonants you already used
ty Gwen
crap I still don't have nbt or nbs
ty gwen for the clue.
yw, and i don't have nbt either, still need 2 tiles for that
Oil & vinegar go in a ***et + this ** that
me too, the top N and the O next to the J
ty Molly but I already found it
top n is a piece of table wear that you cut with (spelled wrong)
sheesh, ty Gween, should have found that one myself
missing the O next to J also
Sorry Peri, my messages are taking forever to post
ou6...what you wear
no need to be sorry, Molly
found an O, something that happens a lot of5
duh, ty gwen
Hello everybody :-)
ty Molly
hey Soodle
ty molly, center O is blue now, woo!
just need the bottom A ...
nice smell, ar5/12
woo hoo NBT and TY peri!
yw
what does the 8 start with pls
well i have to harvest some crops, BBL
Sorry Peri. (I don't actually believe that there could be an 8 in this grid...)
no 8/50
ty Molly, I just found it
Hi Soodle
27 left, bbs
Hey Molls :-). Could you perhaps give a lickle clue for the NO 8, please?
Well, if you're a Harry Potter fan, it's the name of an alley. If not, I'll clue it differently.
co 6 pls
Erm... Not THAT much of a HP fan, Molly, could you try another clue, please?
K***k on the door + **** over a new leaf, then add a vowel for the 8
co6...co + **** in holy matrimony
ty, couldn't see the second part there
Great. Thanks Molly.
Nothing like the smell of charcoal on a Summer Eve.
Nothing like the smell of charcoal around here. Its bucketing down with rain! We have had the grand total of 2 bbq's this year. Summer???
Watching 'Ghost' on TV. Great movie!
stats on the 8?
See Molly's clue at 3.15, Kap.
no 8/50
just wanted stat thank you!
I love "Ghost". I get to hear Patrick Swayze say "I love you Molly" : )
that was a good movie
LOL Moll! He has just said 'Ditto'!
That and "A Few Good Men" are the only movies I can tolerate Demi Moore in.
Keep watching Soodle.
don't know that i've even seen her in any others
Demi Moore needs to deal with the fact that she will be 50.
Never happen Kap. That is why she married the boy toy.
many of us have, and others will
hi again, all! back for my last 32 :-P
How long do you think Kutscher and Moore will last?
Hi Sue
hi sue
She is clearly subscribing to the '50 is the new 25' theory.
I'm surprised they've lasted this long, actually.
Hey Sue!
Celebrities are narcissistically disturbed.
Also the theory that 30 goes into 50 better than 50 goes into 30. (Shame on me)
hi, molly, doren, soodle!
I watched the Ryan and Tatum reality show and came to the conclusion that these people do not feel they exist unless they see themselves on screen
Bad one, Molly
The 'Unchained Melody' bit is on now... pardon me while I gawp unashamedly at the sheer emotion of it all...
God bless the O'Neal family. They are such a mess.
sheer emotionality, to be sure
Gawp away Soodle.
But I insist that Lady Gaga is more psychologically healthy and will neither die young nor require rehab
outfit
often
SUCH a mess. I could make a fortune if I were a Hollywood therapist
aakkk sorry
that's it, dorens!
thanks dorens!
Sheesh......Molly!!!! How can I watch the emotional scene while rolling on the floor laughing at your 30 in 50 post????
*Stares at Kap with that HUH WHAT? look*
No- really. I am serious.
Free clues! Gecher free clues here! : )
nope, i'm done
i don't mean fireworks, i mean done giving free clues
Encore, Dorens, encore.....
Kap, we can agree to disagree on that. Gaga is a HUGE narcissist.
how many entertainers are NOT?
She knows what she is doing and is in control of her act. Different from being narcissistically empty- as in HAS no "self"
Don't know what you mean, Molly. I wear dresses made out of raw meat all the time, and I'm not a narcissist.
I actually kinda like gaga
Aw, Molly- don't be a drag- just be a queen!
ruru. made my first farro today. wow. this stuff is so wonderful
:D
Farro??
Same with Madonna- she wasn't going to burn out early--too calculated...
italian kind of wheat... very healthy very delicious
it's a whole grain (wheat), isn't it, dorens? How do you make it?
Tatum O'Neal on the other hand- thinly held together by rehab talk
And what do you make with this wheat?
because her dad dumped her for Farro Fawcett.
cooked it with bay leaf and a dried ancho chile, then combined it with chard, onion, garlic, shallot, roasted broccoli, lemon zest,
Speaking of Farro.
yumm
right on time, yes kap?
*Goes to get bald, eunuch looking men to carry me through the chog in an egg*
Farro Fawcett Majors.
huh???
lol molly
doren doesn't watch the grammies
It's a Gaga thing Dorens.
Huh what?
you caught me!
Get them to peel you a couple of grapes as well, Molly.
do you eat it hot or cold, dorens/ (I could imagine it as a salad)
but now i figured it out. and i did see her meat dress
hot
Chog is getting unwrapped again
room temp sue, how i do most things, particularly if i prepare them ahead of time
did her dress go sur-loin?
ah, sounds good!
it's not my fault- I was Born This Way.
Do you make bread/pasta out of the farro?
lol
i've seen lots of farro salad recipes... spent a lot of time looking them up, then combined different elements no, soodle, not me
You all need to watch Lisa Kudrow's "Web Therapy"
I wasn't, but my Poker Face takes me far.
that sounds farro - out doren
Ryan still has Farro's little red bathing suit.
oh no, who started him on this?
Oh, I would have to pass on that Kap. Lisa, and all the "Friends" make me gag.
kaplan
Kaplan
wonder how awful Ryan looks in the little red bathing suit
<--- Loves Ru's icon. Huge Beany & Cecil fan.
:D
No- it's a whole different thing- she does this therapist who does on-line therapy in 3 minute sessions and it is hysterically funny- nothing to do with Friends. It's an online series and also now on showtime.
She's aggressive and crazy and really funny. And I did not start this conversation.
It is a must for all psychologists-in-training.
did so.. did so
Trust me Molly- would I steer you wrong?
There once was a lady called Bessy, Who went to Lough Ness to see Nessy, She slipped in some mud, With a terrible thud, and Bessy saw Nessy all messy.
don't get me started on Limmericks.
Time for our medication!
Dont get me started on the Good Ship Venus....
oh.. boy. I can tell where this is going
even I can!
I trust anyone who has the wealth of Allan Sherman knowledge that you do Kap.
I think I need a new keyboard.. for the puter

good for her though Doren for doing what is important to her
she's an impressive kid

congrats sue!!!
good job
word length lisa
7 x 2 Lisa
for 5-letter words, multpily the count by 2
then x3 for 6letters, and so on
she might not survive on it.. this is experimental... three months to see if she can help raise enough money to make a difference, and then they will pay her decently (right now it's 2 K a month, which in nyc is less than rent, right?) but her bf is helping out during the experimental phasse
she's got lots of guts...
Lord, yes...
yup.. that she never lacked! made raising her a bit more interesting than her brothers
Lol I bet
need to head out.. happy babbling all.
Happy Birthday, Lucy!
I emailed you back doren
i think she was also getting disillusioned with the fashion industry/advertising world, which I hoped would happen. happy day ruru

NM found it.
39 left. missing r's and c's. help!

ce 5/12 word is ce 4/5 word plus a vowel anc co 4/8 is Laura Cr*** Tomb Raider. co 7/36 is co plus jo 4/9.
The ra6/21 is garbage loving animal and ra 5/12 is ra 6/21 minus a letter. An ra4/4 is sprinted plus a vowel.
An ro6/21 word is actor Ray Ro**** and ra 5/12 takes away last vowel of that ro 6/21 word egbokmom2000.
hi min, gap, torgone & all!
Hey there, dan2

hi all --crawls in meekly with no shift key computer--
am 7: a small chubby naked boy representing a cupid.
Hi jmcnrick! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid.
still sulking that my brad new computer is broken
Thanks much, Min.
Well that sucks JMC.
Oh that's bummer! Is it still under warranty jmcnrick?
yw gapeach1066
poor jmc, sounds like a incorrect software set up,will need to be reformatted
that is the odd thing min i went to the web page and put in the number and they said i had bought in april
unless it is a simple faulty kb
that would be okay with me cross since only spent 6 hours transfering files and hadn't added all my soft war
win 7 is very easy to reformat
i know i bought it the last week in june so will have to find the receipt
what is a kb/
keyboard
sorry no shift key / is a question mark
sorry i forget and use geek short form sometimes
oh if it is that it will take them forever to give it back to me ;-9
hit the question mark,do you get a stylized euro E?
sorry grrr that was --- frown
no i get /
no shift key means all lc
mm,software issue
wish i was there for you jmc
this is the computer i was getting rid of when i bought the new one because this one says that its hard drive is about to crash --of course it has said that for 4 months now
i can replace hard drive in 10 minutes for under 50 dollars...
i think i will call a mennonite friend of mine and ask if he will take pity on me for this computer and i will take the other one back to the store.
ar5-12 please....it is the last word for this grid.. thanks
my local guy does it in an hour or so for about 150
bout the going rate
but his rent is higher --smile--
new drive+ time and 100% markup
i should have just taken it to him but if i don't upgrade regularly my tax software often doesnt work
ar 5/12 -- smell
Thank you much, Mom.
Thanks for all the great clues....see y'all at the flip.
ma6?
glad 1 of us could finish!
ma6 --shade of red
aha, what a ma6 I am, what a nincowpoop
don't you mean what a mo5/12 you are --wink--
and with 17 left i must bid you all a good night
bye crossy
tc all and happy babbling...poink
what are the stats for the first row c please
I think 2Bit might have been making a joke. A lot of chat room "misspellers" use ma6 for mo5. It's like teh for the, and opps for oops.
Goodbye crosshair! I will see you tomorrow in the log.
cr 5/14
oh well i have no sense of humor molls
ty min
yw
sigh at this rate i won't even make nbt
Sure you do JMC. You have just been Jack-less for too long. : )
i always thought eton should be a word
it should mean snobby boy
i am happy to say i am home with a jack
but i came home to find the back of my house gone --good--and my fridge unplugged--bad
*Sings* Reunited and it feels so good.
hahaha
swings jack glass in time with music
The back of your house gone???
yes i am getting a new kitchen, my bedroom enlarged and a second floor deck
I am happy to say I am home with a Jack too, my dog.
haha min
we all have the jack's we love
Wow! Major renovations. Very nice.
when it is done molls you will have to come over
--stamps foot--have to exclamation point
i need a clue for that cr from the corner
please
*Has big, bright, shiny eyes at the thought of a new kitchen*
cr 5 please......
hi mary
cr 5/14
oh molls i am sooooooo excited
hey JMC!
you're so excited I'm here????
I will never be bored with the details of a new kitchen renovation. Every minute detail.
me too
any way when it is done --if it is ever done-- i am having a party to sell kenyan jackets made by aids widows--we are calling it a a kenyan tuppaware party
of course mary exclamation point and hugs
*looks down and blushes*
oh i could post somewhere my blue prints and the fabulous lobster claws that my house has now and that i am adding to my roof
how much are the jackets......do you have a pic??
silly mary
45 dollars but they are reversible and all the money goes to help the widows become self sufficient
What's the square feet on the bedroom build out? Will this now be a boudoir?
i will look for a pic--i just brought one home to mail to bugs
I'm in...... for men/women?? colours???
Hmm, recently left job...building out bedroom...contemplates JMC's next profession. : P
yes yes yes molls and it will have sliding doors out to a deck and a spiral stair case to a deck on the ro4/7
hahaha this is what i am doing with the money i inherited from my mother
*Swoons at the idea of a spiral staircase that leads to a ro4 deck*
Molly......mmmmmm....is this a 'kept' women or what?
for women and if you give me your bust and hip measurements and colors you like and colors you hate i will find jackets that will fit and take pictures and you can pick one
only need 3 more -- jo5, mo6/24 & mo6/21. any clues?
Ahahahaha Maryte...JMC will never be a kept woman.
that spiral stair case has been my son's dream forever
jo5...jo + butting animal with spiral horns.
hahaha --wonders if she should tell molls about when she was offered 10 thousand dollars to walk around a pool in a bikini to prove that a guy wasn't gay
joass
haha mary no not an ass
tks, molly. cute, maryte!
actually molls if the price was right i am old enough to consider it
hi mom
*Laughing at what the proof would be* Is that an accessory in your trunks, or are you just glad to see me?
Is the renovations coming from the bikini bet??
hahaha he wanted people to think he was like james bond
no mary see 10;10
to be fair he said he wanted to impress his associates but my gaydar went off right away
mo 6/24...mo + a f**** is a couch that can also be a bed.
omg my sister still has a group of friends who meet for annual mo6/24 hunting parties exclamation point
mo 6/21...Maid ****** from the Robin Hood story...use a different second vowel.
JMC....the jackets....is there a website??
there is mary but the problem is that each jacket is unique
so the website really doesn't help pick out a jacker
if you send me the size at my profile name at yahoo.com i will work with you to find the ideal jacket
JMC, you need something long, and flowing and sparkly to glide up the spiral staircase to the ro4 deck.
it is 45 dollars plus shipping from the u.s. since i will make sure my friend who is doing this in retirement brings a jacket you will love if i do not have one
i have a red caftan with gold and silver embroidery but alas it is from the days when i was a size 8 and now i am a size 2x
WAHOO! *F*I*R*E*W*O*R*K*S*!! Tks, kids, for all the great clues. Couldnta done it w/o you! Sweet dreams.
but i cannot bear to give it up
whooo hooo mom
.*.*.*.*MOM.*.*.*.*.
it is a caftan from Qatar
JMC, the jackets may not be my style, but keep me posted on this. It sounds like a very worthy cause and I would kick in a contribution, if not wanting to buy a jacket.
well there are quilts and a few other things-- you should at least come to the party and have some jack with me
oooooo sounds nice! I would like to order at least one jacket......
well email me the measurements and we can work it out but you may have to be patient
Ooo, now quilts are a whole 'nother ball game. : )
--smile-- i can suck them in to babble and i can suck them into supporting my charities
bwahahahahaha
okay i need the clue for dummies for the cr in the corner
Aren't you looking for a job? Did you miss that snake oil salesperson posting on craigslist? : P
.....odd, I just woke up and dreamed I ordered a jacket......
haha mary
....where am I??........
hahaha molls ;-p
cr in the corner...you mix oil and vinegar in a ***et + this ** that.
it is a great jacket mary ask bugs she just ordered her second
gosh try again molls
my e-mail address in my profile and I have paypal.....would that work?
nm i got it ty molls
no mary i do not do paypal which has rip me off when i ran a nonprofit
Good, I was just about to go the ***ella Deville ro5
i am content to work with you to pick out a jacket you want and then mail it to you and if you like it you pay for the jacket and shipping
okie dokie
okay then about that n on the first row
ne...** a picture paints a thousand words, then why can't I paint you?
damn it is the needle case
ty molls
brb i need more jack after being deprived
back with jack
mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Ahem, the needle case is etui. ne4 is some kind of serf.
--blush--
give me a break i was on the road almost all of july
Blame it on the Jack reunion.
haha okay there you go
okay if i want some vague notion of not being completely incompetent i need the e on the top row too
although the stats for the 8 would be nice too
if you only knew how stiff my jacks are
ec4 beige
no8 add vowel to no7 (musical piece)
Stiff Jacks...where the hell is Ruru when I need him?
(think Chopin)
a stiff ru is different
LOL!!!
hi uune --waves furiously
howdy!!
where exactly do you add the vowel --frown
at the end LOL
nbt
that's a hardened clue
I KNEW you were lurking!!

*what pocket?*
oops he will have to give up his congressional seat if we go on

throws kisses at molls
i am too why would you say i am not question mark
I thought you have quaker leanings
or quacker leanings too
there is that issue about jesus as being a manifestation of christ
*Gets out of the line of fire*
uh i hate to disabuse you ru but the vast majority of quakers are christians of one stripe or another
quack quack quack
*buys jmc a t-shirt " I babble-for Christ's sake!*
really? I don't know enough about the quakers..
oh molly surely you know by now i don't take what people think i believe seriously
haha i would love that t-shirt ru
how do they geel about polygamy those quakers
feel
there are more christian black quakers than any other quakers
*Joking* Ignore me mostly. I have the cold from hell and nothing it making much sense at this point. : P
really?
wow
Or IS making much sense.
theologically we are opposed to polygamy but there are some kenyan quakers who have not gotten the memo
*zips lips*
makes a poltice for molls
i'm an atheist.. although you'd never know
ru you cannot offend me with comments about quakers
there are atheist quakers
*Thanks God I am old enough to know what a poltice is*
I'm not trying to jm.. I am interested in Quakers.. just don't know much about them
god is good all the time
poltice sounds like a frozen chicken drink
some time ru i will return to sf and you and i will meet at some place where you can steer me to good wine and i will wax about my faith
poultice

okay.. I do need to read about quakers someday.
:-D
*Goes to the back of the classroom, dons dunce cap*
same here, ru
I'm reading about the Monarchy of England first
can i be a fly on the wall at the "wax and wine" event?
www.quakers.org bubala
haha i love that you caught the wax and wine une
I don't like to offend people for their religious beliefs.. feeling everyone is entitled to what they want.. but the far-far christian right does get to me
ditto
well there are those who would feel that i am far far christian and others who would feel i am not
i recommend reading philip gulley
really jm..? I don't see that in you
he started from the rigid christian to the open christian
ru i am a religious fanantic
back to erection jokes I see
my life is completely directed by my faith
Faith, in whatever form it takes, is more easily understood when grace is involved.
holy cow!..
fortunately i love a good dirty joke
so get it up
to me the sad thing is that the completely humorless have taken control of the media image of the faithful
that's really true Molly.. nice way to put it
so while i do not use a profile of heistheone etc god is essential to my life
amazing grace is my a number one hymn
mmmm I would never have guessed
with jack or without?
well there is no reasom why you should ru
jack is not a deterrent
hahahah
well you are about the coolest christian I've ever met then
well i hate to tell you but there are lots of cool christians--but thank you
I need to forage for food after this theological discussion.. *blows kisses * waves to the crowd*
