*poofing with hugs*
thanx dee, nite dear one.
(((rose))) hugs!!
ugh..it is crossy zombie..darn bursitis,,,,ugh....
and no-one left to witness my triumphant fireworks......
i am:) yaa for granny!
awww crossy....feel your pain, buddy, truely do
okay, let's analyse this, just what measures have you taken thus far, crossy?
well granny, this is new for me.all of a sudden i got radiating pain in a arc under the knee and hot circles of pain on the left and right of the knee cap...
i have been given t3,s and told to take ibuprophen for any swelling ,then sent to x-rays....
then was told i may need cortosteriod injections into the knee
okay, sounds more like the tendons on both sides of your knee are giving you pain. when you try to straighten your leg, do these tendons feel tender and tight?
i have an appointment with the doc on mon
no,it is like an icepick stabbing pain and it always feels like the knee is going to buckle ot bend too far the other way
hmmmm, do you have any tynelol in the house?
like i said,he gave me t 3,s
and that means????don't forget i'm from down under
would not be so bad,if i did not walk for a living
ahh tylenol threes with codeine
* nods head* know what you mean....
(((crossy))) !! what happened hunny? I read back.... have you done too much on your legs lately??
okay, cold pack for 5 minutes, then hot pack for 5 minutes, then rest, then repeat cycle
most likely 40 extra poun ds and 30 years of running service stations (((MRP)))
i will give it a go granny, hurts like a bugger atm
keep it up for 2 cycles, when you go back to bed, try a rolled towel behind your knee
i have a nice body pillow i can shove tween knees
could be the medial meniscus?... that can blow out the back of your knee too. and rose is right, heat and ice. and support with a rolled up towel
i have a ice pack from the freezer on it,and will be good in a bit after the t 3,s kick in
is tylenol the same as voltarin rose?
no, under the knee, to flex and support at the same time. also would advise you to try and find something like my "pain away. arthritis cream"
no mrp, same as panadol
just a pain, was always the invincible, indestructable machine..but no longer alas..maybe whiskey and nookie
ah, so you need anti-inflamatory
i havce ibuprophen
well of course crossy! that is the answer to everything!!
you can take ibup with tylenol
"pain away" contains arnica, rosemary oil, sandalwood oil, and emu oil.
good, cause there is some t 3,s with my name on em right now
mm.emu,s are scarce here granny lol
write the ingredients down, crossy, and see if your local health /natural shop can help you
and just how do you milk an emu? lol
not like a duck, that's for sure. do you know how to milk a duck?
did not know they had teats!
did not know they had teats!
i wanna know what part of the emu they get the oil from!
i must visit down under some time! lol
you need a VERY low stool
maybe it is from emus that need a shower?
a tiny bucket?
ibuprophen....gawd I wish I could take it, but all I can take for my pain is panadeine forte, cos anything stronger is too much for my system (knocks me around too much)....(have scoliosis and with my age is playing havoc.
i mean it, crossy, or google the name, and see if you can buy it over the internet
like chicken salt... which part of the chicken do they get that from ??
i will granny, and crossy can gobble t 3,s like candy
I imagine pygmy Papua Newguinea people using a special wooden spatula to scrape the sweat from under the chicken's wings, after they had chased them for a half hour
i will granny, and crossy can gobble t 3,s like candy
i use the "pain away" on my knee...it is pain free( i have grade 4 arthritis, that means absolutely NO cartilage in my right knee) i have thus so far avoided a second arthroscopy and cortisone injections. ( which they don't tell you...softens the bone, thus a total replacement requires that they take more bone)
crossy, i am buying "anatrin" from the us of a...it's a natural remedy for my fibromyalgia...you never know, you might get lucky
red boxes
mills, you still here?
well, don't know what has happened to the chog for the last 1hr and 20 mins.
veeery strange. is anyone here?
just got here granny
hi kje......seems to be a huge hiatus in the chog

hey dachef
Its babble expert I am using Dach it is doing all sorts of peculiar things lol
Thanks granny think I might just try later ... perhaps Dr G will sort his servers out, or what he does behind the scenes lol
norma, just sent you an email. hope it gets thru
Nothing has come thru yet granny ;-(
used the babble address in your profile...is it correct?
okay, email was just returned. what is your correct email address?
babble was down for ages!
mrp, you still there? hope you got some of the steak...
The email is correct in my profile granny....
what is WRONG here?!
This place needs a shot of Draino. Very sluggish.
groan . . . grid's apparently had too much turkey . . .
This place needs a shot of Draino. Very sluggish.

back. i wish i understood potatoes
Where was Babble this morning?????
sleep well, dart
bye Dart
bye all...pooof
think it has a hangover Kap
Understanding potatoes sounds very Zen
they always take MUCH MUCH longer than i expect to fry
you should boil them first
hi all
i grew up in a family that rarely ate them, so cooking with them is always foreign to me
these are mashed that i added some stuff to for fritters
hi jmc
i know that much about the boiling first :)
morning, jmc
haha
hi lynxxx
got woken this morning by hammers and saws!
i slept like a baby. Sorry to hear that, jmc
but that is good isn't it?
absolutely--they even came thanksgiving day
they keep getting rained out so work every chance they get
i dread them getting snowed out
did you promise them Thanksgiving feast?
no i actually had not set my alarm thinking to sleep in
they sound like a good bunch
they are--which is what makes the whole thing so frustrating :)
it would be easier if i could be mad at them
in
what stage are you up to
see my icon? they are waiting for a crane to put the stairs on the second floor deck--and they are roofing
it must be nice to have an end in sight
omg - thought you were just doing a new kitchen...and you are living through it!?
we are now talking about new years
I don't get the fingers. What is that supposed to be?
it is a decoration--when you come to my party you will see all :-D
NYE party - 2012?
probably 12/31/12!
all the years of looking at American MMDDYY - still an effort to translate it
sorry dec 31 2012 better?
31/12/12 does make more sense
does seem more logical doesn't it
yes for a while i was trying to shift to using the "european" date but when i quit practicing law i stopped for some unknown reason
Good day to all. Specifically 26/11/11.
hi scrabs
hi all....clue please for as5/10?
hi Scrabs
as & the end of the curved yellow fruit
Occasionally I see kids in my office that have come to the US from other countries that list the vaccine dates as day/month/year and I have to be cautious when listing those dates into our charts.
gm everyone!! may i have a clue for the ha6.33?
hi flask
hi Dawg
hi lbd
Hi Flask + dawg
there's Hs?
cance
hi lynxxx, jmc, scrabs
Don't bother trying that word.

Hi Bacon Boy

Hi Sue

Thank you.
tatoo
as & the end of it Flask

ty scrabs
okay, so no one has the ha6.33?
nope, double t in the middle, scrabs
Oh the penny has dropped!!!!
phantom: bastard
Not a word. Damn, I am trying really hard to get into the PB.
or as & ban***
darn!
hi uu
Hi Owl
hi TO
we will get in easy with ch4.
I need a 4th T from the first column T
thanx for your patience.....
hi, babblers
hi welki
Hi Scrabbler. I am missing the same one, I think.
hi scrabbler hi je hi welk
hi welki
Welki, felling ANY better?
hi TO
there are 2 ta5.10s
hows the cold welki?
hi dawg
too early to tell - lots of morning congestion
oh well, got up to yell at the kid, which I did, so I think I will go back to bed for a while
She's got pneumonia!
Why did Leo get yelled at?
tiring yelling at the kid
oh Welki - can you go back to bed soon
oh no! one of the holiday guests had & just got out of hospital that morning
working on it, lynxx .. in about 1/2 an hour
ugh, poor welki
got a "notice of copyright infringement" from our ISP - he's been downloading things he shouldn't hvae
*have
why is tada not a word :(
Uh, oh.
uh oh...LEO!!!
i always try it, jmc :-)
uh oh!
Does one get a warning before trying to download that type of stuff?
he didn't seem to think it was a big deal (and why should he, the account's in my name!) but said he would stop. Sigh.
dunno, scrabs, he seems to have used BitTorrent and I don't know if they include a warning or not
I got the 4th T--close to the sauce served with fish
ty scrabs
i would think a site would block downloading without payment or something.
stats for the middle A please
we got one of them, too, sue. i pointed laser eyes at husband - because i'm one of the ones who pay for music/movies
9 left...think i'll go get motating and finish later. Everyone take care! bbl
motating?
bye Dawg
Is motating fun?
the idea of the torrent sites, dawg, is to download w/o paying
an6.24, jmc
I think BitTorrent is a file sharing site - they don't take responsibility for what people upload and download
motivated while rotating
ty lbd *looking*
But I would get dizzy.
motivated for what while rotating? upchuck?
I think you get in a lot more trouble for uploading things than downloading them
and if they cut off our service I am going to be REALLY pissed
Can that happen?
if they prosecuted you, i think you'd be more than upset - and i understand that there've been a few successful prosecutions on these in the states
Sure! Comcast reminds you that use of the Service (or any part of the Service) in any manner that constitutes an infringement of any copyrighted work is a violation of Comcast's Acceptable Use Policy and may result in the suspension or termination of your Service account.
Oh, yes, I guess that makes sense.
does anyone have the ha 6/33?
Hi Jes
clue for an6/24 please
hi jes sorry
and meanwhile I am still going back to bed, see you all later!
Sleep well, Sue.
an + muscle + ** the world turns

I'm doing well, in Pennsylvania for the Holiday. I have stopped loving the nephews, and it is quite cold.
Are they adolescents?

I am a singular person, so not used to noise.
Feral humans
We just put them in the car home!!!

They were great fun for 2-3 days...somewhere along the third day...it just got to be too much.

During a 1992 state dinner, President George H. W. Bush, ill with the flu, lost his lunch in the lap of the Japanese prime minister. Oddly enough, Bush’s faux pas coined a slang Japanese word, bushusuru, which translates as “to do the Bush thing,†meaning “to vomit.â€
For anyone old enough to remember Spiro Agnew, one of his famous insults was calling the media "nattering na/5's of negativism"

He called rock music godawful caterwauling.
That na doesn't exist in the grid, jan, does it?
Some is, Kaplan. That's why I like it!

Thanks from me to Molly
Lame guess. ch6/27 is too ordinary for a dog's name in your family Stid. : )
which gives me NBT and past halfway. Time to get to work before the kiddo wakes up and needs my computer for his homework.... *sigh* He has his own computer, but it's not as fast or as fun to use apparently.
Glad to help, Stid and Jan. : )
LOL Molly!

hi everyone! anyone have a clue for the ha6.33?
yay! :) I'm special :)
morning, dawg
morning, jes
i have no ha6 to share with you, sorry
ah well, it may be one of those totally obscure scottish hebrew words spelled with a french accent!
well, i found a 6/24...
ha6 = sounds like the way a Jamaican would say ANYWAY - rhymes with Canada's capital...
it's my last H...
that was it
weird one isn't it ?
on to the 7's
... I'd like to see if Minerva can get the ha6 into her clue story today ... it would be a challenge to be sure
i'll say..lol
jes's clue of rhyming with Canada's capital helped.
wasn't mine, dawg...i'm still trying to figure it out!
is every other letter a vowel?
yes jes
that was montreal's clue
... I was going for a clue with the marine battle at the end of world war II and changing the last vowel ... but the clue was longer than the battle
ty, montreal! i've been hunting for that darn word forever!
yw, didn't know how else to clue it...
an excellent clue!
well..ty ty
finally! thanks :)

as kids we called it mush melon, cuz it was always softer than the other melons
I think it's a part of the muskmelon family.
are there any odd wa words? I am missing one of them
wa7, superlative
that is the one I need,ty, looking...
musk melon...i bet that's what the folks were calling it and the kids called it MUSH!
ty lbd
yw, peri
tada!! finito!
yay lbs
Congrats Dawg!

yay, lbd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY LBD!!! I arrived just in time
48 left here
49.
about to head out with Mother to go car shopping... *shudder* I HATE shopping for cars when I "need" to.
hurrah, dawg!
ty, ty, ty! special thanks to Dose and Montreal for the super clues!
Hiya Stiddy!!
bbl
... anytime
good luck avoiding the sexist salesmen, stid :)
hi, stid!
ugh, have fun stid. glad it's you and not me. i hate car shopping
hi stid
I love the fact that you can research everything on line before you go buy a car. Last time I bought one it was a cake walk.
Tom and Matthew (the babbler formerly known as stidkid # 1) are about to head out to finish transferring boxes from the smaller (original) storage locker to the new (larger) locker... we are discovering that a lot of the bulk are actually empty boxes!!! Which improves our potential to downsize again next summer.
when i bought my jeep, the sales guy kept talking to hubz. I walked off the car lot. Hubz said, "you better go make up to my wife or you will have lost a sale. it's HER money."
I have been doing that, Molly -- but on a budget of $0 and not likely to be able to qualify for a loan... *sigh* quite discouraging.
lol at storing empty boxes stiddy
I did that with my first car, LBD! Stupid salesmen who think women don't know their cars. For that matter, stupid technicians at times (though I regularly call our local shop in a panic... LOL)
last time i went car shopping, a friend drove me around, so if i bought something i could get it home. i'd ask questions, and he'd wander around not really paying attention. at one lot, the salesman INSISTED on answering every question I asked directed at my friend, even though he'd not said a word, and was on the other side of a different car.
Tom likes to keep the empties for new purchases just in case we want to return things.
It's a little ridiculous after 12 years in our house...
after about 3 questions of that, I said "nevermind. I'm not buying a car from a bloke who can't force himself to talk to me, no matter how good your cars are," and we left.
Hubz does that too, Stid. i have to remind him that after 30 days we can't take stuff back.
... save the boxes until the spring and then sell them to students from the local university who are moving home
good for you, too, jes!
Good idea, dose!
it's so infuriating, Jes. I did buy my jeep for that dealer, just not from that salesman.
Wow, zero dollars and not qualifying for financing doesn't give you um, any options?
... not fair ... I've got a frosh and a grad who are still in annual moving mode
used car, molly. that's about the only option for a lot of folks.
new cars are WAY freaking spendy
I am hoping late next summer to be able to sell the useable but only "first place" appropriate extra furniture to the kids who are returning to school.
Yep. Used car.
nothing wrong with a good previously owned vehicle. ask for the carfax tho!
... hate to be morbid ... but suggest looking for an elderly couple who are finally getting rid of their car ... ... was just offered an excellent deal that way
Sorry, I guess I misunderstood zero dollars.
I will have to borrow from parentals, Molly -- which at my age is somewhat embarrassing. But the van is not safe, and I must have some transportation to get to the sub jobs I am offered.
And until I am getting regular, dependable jobs, I literally have NO money.
i have an 89 jeep, almost mint condition 40,000 miles on it...wanna buy it?
gee whiz, LBD! I would LOVE to -- EXCEPT going over the Rockies this time of year is NOT my cup of tay!
I want 4WD, though -- since there is a gully between our home and the closest plowed road.
well darn. it's my dad's jeep. it really is in great condition. brand new tires, new battery, leather upholstery
*drooling over the cool factor of a jeep...* with the rural schools I teach in, that would enhance my status as a sub in no time flat! LOL
my cousin might. can you deliver to spokane?
it's sitting in Denver.
hm. My BIL lives in Aspen....
... fly me out there ... I'll drive it ... loved that drive
but it would take a while to get down there. *sigh* too many decisions, I can feel the neurons shutting down.
i just did that drive...i'm too old to do it again in the winter.
babbler's auto delivery service, dose?
... as I said ... just need the airfare to Denver ...
i probably should ask my sister if it's still for sale...i haven't heard anyting so i'm assuming it and the house are still on the market
fares from canada are probably less expensive than what we pay here. but then i live in podunk nowhere and there are no direct flights to anywhere from here.
so, does anyone have opinions on the Honda CR-V? there are a few used ones that might work...
they are nice cars, stid. very roomy and handle well on the roads
... not quite ... Air Canada is noted for high prices ... ... a lot of people from the Toronto area drive down to Buffalo to fly anywhere in the States
it's the winter driving that I am thinking about -- and being big enough to carry Lucky without having him in my lap! LOL the van was SO nice for that...
Stid, you can look up auto reviews on line. Hondas are good cars, although you may be told differently by "some" here.
I think that's what we are going to look at -- I have liked my Honda, and so has Mother. Tom's Hyundai has served us well, but it's a little small for hauling four people long distances.
Why does the dog need to ride with you?
My sister in Colorado has one, and she has to drive in nasty snowy weather. She loads up her two Little dogs, and heads off to where ever. lots of room for Lucky
I don't like any U.S.-made models that are in my low-end price range, and their mileage tends to be very poor anyway. I don't want to get less than 25 mpg
LBD, that's the encouragement I needed. Thanks.
We are in a rural area, Molly -- must be able to get Lucky the many miles to the vet, and the occasional long drive when we take trips.
it has a nice roomy "trunk" for all the hauling you'd have to do too, stid.
And since stidkid #2 is now a full 6 feet tall... *sigh* I keep telling him to stop growing, but you can't tell adolescents what to do! rofl...
LBD, I think my mind is made up. Now to justify the price. And find one that seems reasonable.
Oh, okay. I get it now. Earlier you were talking about your commute to work and I thought, for some reason, you took him to work with you.
detachable legs! that's what stidkid2 needs! lol
hi all .....is there a list anywhere?
bath
yep, below the grid is a link
at lickety's, aeb
there's an '05 with about 90K miles on it...
oops!
bon jour, chere Une! *prepares PB for incoming guests*
at lickety i still get the malware warning
salut, stiddy!!
rofl LBD!!! TOO funny!
ignore it, musica
find out who did all the driving on the car stid. A kid with a heavy foot or someone more sedate.
btw, I am in the PB too...
I can do that I think, LBD -- carfax is up on my computer right now...
i'll post it in my profile for you aeb. brb
Also, if you buy a car with mileage that high, they should provide you with a service record.
ah, Lucky dit: "Grandmere ici!"
gee that dog is LOUD!
posted, aeb!
thany u Ibd...i just spent 285 dollars getting my MAC fixed , can't afford any other mishaps
okay, i feel a nap coming on. bbl. good luck stiddy.
Grandmere dit: "Bonjour tout le monde!"
sleep sweet, dawg
Later LBD, thanks so much!!!
Aeb, you are wise to "not ignore" a warning like that. They are there for a reason.
for what it's worth, musica, i wasn't advising you lightly -- lots of folks have tested it and it's fine -- and mrp has said more than once that it's fine and she's trying to get the erroneous message not to show up
didn't want you to think I was being cavalier
Hi All. clue for an7 anyone pls.

Hi Min and uu2 and all else who are on
I st4/4ted the grid an 4/8 at the flip.I'm almost done so here is a story of clues for you to sc 4/5. Husband proposed to me while we were on a ca4/7ing trip. He took out a black ca4/5 that was in his co4/5 pocket. I opened it and saw a 10-ca 5/12 ring which probably cost several co 5/12. Husband told me he was taking a big ch 6/27 asking me because he wasn't sure what my reply would be.I said of course I would marry him, what else would the answer be? Hubby said he wasn't sure because he had to ch 5/14 me for years just to get me to date him so he wasn't sure about marriage After putting the ring on my finger he did a happy da 5/14. Hubby wants to ch 4/6 w/people on FaceBook. He drives me insa4/4 with his FaceBook addiction.FB has become the ba4/6 of my existence. I am going to sc5/12 on out of here to eat ta4/5s for dinner. By all means, Jac! Something every woman should be made aware of!
Okay if I put it on FB, Soodle?
I'll print a copy out for my Mum and her friends, too.:-)
Of course! And feel free to add me on fb, to play a game of words with friends. I've just started playing, and enjoying it very much.

Congratulations perwinkle on fireworks! Hooray for U
Goodbye perwinkle! I will see you tomorrow in the log
Am listening to my new 'The Magic of Doris Day' cd, as Peri probably knows, since she is on FB at present. 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is on now - quite apt for Babble, I think.
Well done, peri! (Better nip back to FB in a minute to find Soodle and check that Peri's not beating me in our game. LOL)
Jac, you have the most varied taste in music of anyone I know.
thanks
Hi Jess.
Molly - Yes, I have very eclectic taste. I love all the old music because of the huge record collection my parents had, and going to films and to parties with them.
I understand that Jac. I am ever thankful to my folks for turning me onto swing music.
That reminds me - I'd like to change my icon pic to one of my parents when young, before I came along, on the coast. Last Wednesday was the 8th year since my lovely Dad died.
Ah... a difficult time, Jac. Condolences.
I'm listening to Paul McCarteny's Having a Wonderful Christmastime. Not one of my favorites, but still like it
{{{HUGS TO JACULA}}}
Min - not got into the Christmas spirit yet. Will do in a couple of weeks.:-)
Thanks Min.
What a nice way to remember your Dad, Jac.
Have changed my icon pic to the one of my parents now.
What a great picture!
It's lovely, isn't it? I've got lots of wonderful B&W photos to scan in. Quite a lot are on FB to share with my family, since I'm the Keeper of the Photos from grandmas on both sides of my family.
That could be in Life Magazine. It really captures the mood of the setting.
I can only see the pic in the chat log, Jac. when I go into your profile, I can still see the friendly wet dog!
Soodle, when you go to Jac's profile, right click and hit RELOAD.
How odd! My Doris Day cd is playing the track 'The Way We Were' now. Must try not to cry.
an 7/28 pls
If you want to see the majority of the family pics, which date from the 1800s to present day, you'll have to look on Facebook.

I can't pick anyone who doesn't live in UK as we still don't have jobs here, though Beloved has 2 days work next week, possibly leading to a month's worth of work up to Christmas.
Well Lil, aren't you the most popular Lil Babbler. : )
I'd love to come to the UK and meet lilliann, Jacula, Lindrickway, Soodle
Lil* - I've seen the Babbler's meet pics. It's great.
Molly you are going to be one of my five, I just know it
Where is Lilliann these days?
Where in the UK are you Jac? My son is living in Hastings and working in Woking.
She is on FB but doesn't Babble much anymore... if you want her FB name, I'll send it to you on FB Molly
Lilliann is still around, but I can't remember if I was talking to her on here the other day or on FB. I think it was on FB.
Lil, just tell her I said hi and I miss her. Glad she's doing okay.
I call her Cheeky
Soodle, I'm in Worcestershire which is quite a way up from there.
Yes I will do that Molly
Love your sauce, Jac!!!!
I used to live in Gerrard's Cross, Bucks county, if any of you Brits know where that is
*Chuckles at "working in Woking" *
dammit soodle beat me to it
Lil* - yes, I do. 'Working in Woking' isn't the expression I usually hear for that town in Surrey. LOL
Tee hee Molls......... never thought of that!
*Gasp* Wonking in Woking? Poking in Woking?
Gerrard's Cross always used to make me laugh as a child when we passed the sign. I wondered what he was cross about. Still haven't grown up enough not to wonder that about any sign with whatever's Cross.
Molly - take your first guess but change the 1st vowel to an 'a'. LOL
Doesn't it just mean a cross street, like an intersection?
I never get Brit speak right.
wanking!
Lil* . No, it usually means some kind of holy site.
Lil*! That word is not one we use in polite conversation here in UK! *shocked*
Jac, what is Gerrard's Cross close to? I was just a girl then. I can't remember where it was exactly. I went to school on a US Air Force base called High Wycombe.
I used to date a chap who lived in High Wycombe. High times in High Wycombe.... Le sigh.......
oh i must only know impolite brits then
I nearly typed 'some kind of holy sHite'. Oh dear!
Rofl LeslieAnn
Bloody wanker! lol
lol I've never been to a HOly Shite
well except for Stonehenge
LA - so you DO know what the term means? When I first went on the internet, many moons ago, a lot of our friends over The Pond, seemed to have no idea what that word was.
Hmmm... never been to ireland then, Lil!!
<---Is not well versed in polite conversation
wanker? yes I know, I lived in UK for a while
Atta girl, Molls ROFL
Lil* - could you still touch the stones at Stonehenge when you went there? You're not allowed to these days!
No, we could not touch the stones when I was there
I have no desire to see Stonehenge anymore, now that it's all roped off. What's the point?
Lil* The village name is fairly new, when compared with other villages that surround it. Gerrards Cross did not exist in any formal sense until 1859 when it was formed by taking pieces out of the five parishes of Chalfont St Peter, Fulmer, Iver, Langley Marish and Upton to form a new ecclesiastical parish. It is named after the Gerrard family who in the early 17th century owned a manor here. At that time it was a hamlet in the parish of Chalfont St Peter. It is the site of an Iron Age hillfort.
Molly - don't blame you! Thank God and Gaia that I'm old enough to have been there when you could still touch the stones, and THAT is an experience, believe me!
Jac, where is it relative to London
Thank you Jacepedia. : P
*TM
Or Jacgoogle......
Molly - y/w. LOL
Lil* - it's on the border of Greater London, which is probably a lot bigger than the London you recall. Check Google maps to be sure.
What train stop is it?
We used to ride an above-ground train and then switch to the tube
Would you look at the time. The son and heir is home from the working in Woking this weekend, and will be demanding a full Irish breakfast in approx 5 hours time. I better hit the sack.
Gotta think on your feet here and google and hope for the best. I don't do that in my blog, but you can tell if I've done it here, 'cos it's not typed in my style. LOL
'Lil* - I have NO IDEA what train stop it is. I live nearer Birmingham than London.
OK... I could ask my parents but they barely remember their own names anymore LOL
5 left
And the way they keep changing the location of the bus stops in Birmingham, I'd guess, since I can't keep up with those, I'm long lost on London, where I haven't been for at least 12 years.
57 left
dammit
'Lil*' you can look it all up if you want to go there.
Good night Molly, Jac, Lil, Jes and assorted lurking Babblers.
'Night Soodle. Dormez bien.

ca7/32 is a card game

co7/36 = to appear in a play together.
co + battle *****ment.
The battle thing is about acting out battles from the past.
thanks
y.w Jes..
That does not seem like a word
It is, Lil*.
hi again...it's me...any clue for ne6/21, please
hi again...it's me...any clue for ne6/21, please
hi again...it's me...any clue for ne6/21, please
Oh I see, but "poot" is not a word
ne6/21 is what bees get from flowers
ne6/21 is what bees collect to make honey - not pollen.
tyvm, jacula
ambrosia is ne6/21 for the Gods.
y/w aeb.
and I'm sure this one's fishy but I can't seem to monkey it. ha5,14? the very first one
haven't listed yet but my first rhymes with take a ch**** on me
'Lil* - poot is in the Scrabble dictionary, meaning 'break wind'. We call it a fart or a trump.
but never an accepted word in Babble *hmpf*
jes - think Shakespeare - 'thou ha5/14 not the means to let your poor old mother know thou wouldst not be home by the prick of midnight?'
Did thou not have thy phone of the cell, the one worked by hags of the night, with thee?
'Lil* - that's enough! Stop sulking!
Last time I checked, you weren't my mum
maybe you should check again
thanks, and fireworks
yay jes!
'Lil*' - teenaged sulks. LOL
Well done, jess.
Joling with Lil* aside, it is confusing when you play lots of word games on the net, because the dictionaries differ. You think you've got a brilliant million point word using z and q and the damned dictionary doesn't allow it on that particular game. GRR!
JoKing, I meant to type.
Please, pretty please, for the millionth time of asking Dr_God, can we have an edit button on here, please?
Ren's been posting like mad on FB, She doesn't come in here now.
I'm talking to myself in here just like she is on FB. Time for me to go. See you all next grid.
clue for one of the last sc5/12's...i already have ella/s singing with an extra consonant and the one which means i'll scram in a hurry
don't make a sc**e, change the last letter to another vowel.

hey LA and doren
73 left here, won't finish, but enjoying the game nonetheless
and as for subbing -- until I have a new(er) car, I am unavailable. The van is unsafe to drive because the steering rack is about to fail (no way to tell when it actually will, so.....)
that's the spirit, stid
oh no, tht is sad. i'm sorry... hope it gts fixed or replaced soon
I think I have found the right replacement, a 2007 Honda CR-V. Will see on Monday when our auto shop gurus check it out for me
brain died, last two are sa 6/21 and one of the last batch of sc 5/12s
can't afford to keep fixing the d__n thing, it's cost half its current value in repairs over the last couple years.
LA: sa 6/21 is latin for "holy" (it's a plural form, sing ens with -um)
ah thanks
and try doubling the last consonant on the sc that chases away critters
how are you doren? weather behaving for a change, I hope?
that would be it, psychic mama. fireworks!
just finished the grid. weather has been lovely stid, but a litte scary. think it hit 70 today
YAY LA!!!!
huzzah dorens!
oh dear, that is far too warm for this time of year! *fuss, fuss*
YAY doren too!!!
can't really complain.. it was really nice here... but kind of concerned about the strange fluctuations.... and yay for leslie ann!
how are the prince and princess doing, doren? Haven't seen pics of them in a while
will have to work on posting one tomorow stid.. they are totally adorable. am taking Phoebe next weekend to see the nutcracker... and Levi, two and funny as can be, keeps saying "when I'm three I'm going to the nutcracker" and of course he has no idea what it is, but he is determined to join us next year. they are thoroughly enjoyable, stid. i highly recommend grandchildren
and with that i say good night. catch you later
LOL I am so pleased you are enjoying them! I actually asked about car seat tie-downs today, just in case I need them before the next car is done... NOT that I am anticipating grands in the next decade!
Sweet dreams doren.

the walk went really well... very long day but fun
Great ... $100,000 is great
yes, overall the group did well
Hi BabbleRabble! How are you doing? Welcome to grid.
I hit my toe on a hidden root at full force and broke it
No, you have such bad luck
That must've really hurt. Are you still limping around?
nah - it only hurts when bent certain ways... mostly getting better
Any guesses for next grid size? My guess is 114 words
I didn't use to have bad luck, but yes, it seems that way lately - LOL
