oh heck, i am watching the today show. about germs in baby nurseries. i mean we all lived, is more than normal cleanliness required? I don't remember my nother cleaning out my baby borhter;s room with CN .

people get way too scared about "germs", I think; there are some dangerous ones but our environment is full of all kinds
look what kids stick into their mouths
hand washing is the most important. that helps with everything else.
I remember chatting with some moms when I had a new baby; one of them asked when to stop sterilizing the baby's bottles. The other one said she stopped when she saw the kid eating dirt out of the garden.

It's nice that you still do Christmas letters Jac. They are almost a thing of the past. People barely send cards anymore. Which makes me sad. It was the one time of year that you got happy mail (not bills).

just chatted with Jilli and she is doing very well. She has begun physio and will be home as soon as they get her house accessible and supports in place. She says she does not have the internet at the hospital but she will be on babble the minute she gets home.
