wow. I'm tired. concerts all finally over.
this is where you were singing, m9?
yes flosey
how many concerts?
well last weekend the community choir that I JUST joined did 3 concerts of spanish Christmas songs.
and then tonight was the Messiah
oh wow, I can only imagine
Elina had a camera that can do video. But she didn't really know how to use it. ANd then the battery died.LOL
but if you like I'll put link in my profile for a moment so you can hear me...
I remember singing in the church choir when I was much younger, we were going on radio so the regular director was temporarily replaced by a pro - wow the difference!
the snippet she got
I'd love it m9, please do
that should have done it.
and then I'm going to remove it!LOL
ok, going now
is it the first one m9? if so, I can't open it
how did you try and open it? you're not sticking that in the youtube search window again are you?
no, in firefox
hmm.. it worked for one friend.
which one is it? there are 4
the last one is wedding pics
i just redid. first one.. it's 2 lines
ok, will try again
Beautiful m9, very pretty little church too
ah it worked.
yes. interesting story there..
when they built the new (ugly) catholic church in town they were going to tear that down! Locals raised funds and took it over.
they saved it.
interesting, I think it's lovely
I've saved this to pass on to Jilli, ok?
hard to see in that vid just how lovely it is!
am sure she wil love to hear you
yes that is ok
thanks
One of the other soloists is interested in my giving her voice lessons! Her mother taped it and so I hope to get a full vid of that piece.
do you teach? or would this be a private lesson
http://www.oldstpeterslandmark.org/int erest.htm
it would be private. I've given private lessons before but it's been a while
if you go to that link (if it's not too long) I think the part about the madonna is interesting.
very interesting, will pass this on to Jilli too
When we sing the Messiah, a woman plays the organ up in the loft.
oh, I'd love to hear it
I don't think she's playing during that clip...
more during the choral bits.
thanks for taking the time to share these clips
phantom: Steve and Eydie
sorry.. I just found an interview on youtube with a woman who does tours of the Landmark and I'm watching them!
interesting, I noticed there were other clips, will check them out later
yes.. just type "st peters the landmark" in the youtbue search bar.
thanks, will do that

hi seain
evening, flosey
i sort of slept some, but here i am awake and tired. sigh.
i wonder if the coffee at 2PM was a mistake. I was tired then and running on 4h sleep. Ah, well. I'm alive, well, and able to complain. Can't be that bad. :)
TY. Must go. Happy babbling
how are you today, flosey?
ah seain, 4 hours not enough to keep you going for a full day
see next flip anike

i am going to make sure they have a wonderful xmas eve / xmas day and boxing day with food they love at least!
have you got the holiday season to yourself? or are you having family/friends over?

good morning from winter wonderland!
Hi Ruby. Up to have coffee and find a few words before an early morning trip to the grocery store.
VERY early morning grocery run
it's almost lunchtime here and off to the local Italian resto in the snow
to see my lover-boy Capone, the Malinois who calls me "Tatie Nancy"
(not really, but when his owner says Tatie Nancy is coming, his ears perk up and he gets all excited!)
Have a good lunch with the boys
it's terrible to love dogs this much, mine and other people's
Probably not so terrible. : )
off I go! see you later
morning all
morning Giant
can anyone clue the bu6/7 for me by chance?
rhymes with baby dogs
thanks so much
np - strange word(s)
And...they would qualify as acronyms, which supposedly are not allowed..but whatever
Happy Sunday, Molly
Hey Aloy
you actually know the meaning?
Yes, it's a stupid urban acronym.
newbie to me
missed the punctuation mark, ti5.12
Most people have no clue what that is called
Same goes for ellipsis
don't believe grammar/punctuation is taught much anymore.. certainly dinosaurs like diagramming sentences have gone poofsy
And that could be a good thing (about diagramming sentences). I think I'm seriously warped from all the sentences I diagrammed in 8th grad.
Or grade.
well, there I've gone and done it.. FW.. I hated doing the diagrams too
just for fun, I'm going to look up some of the weirdo words
hi all
i loved diagramming sentences
hi jmc, lover of diagramming
and i think the reason so many this i read today have sentence fragments and run-on sentences is because diagramming is out of style
hey snuffy
vi7.48 = division of Turkish govt... everyday word, lol
if you are in turkey it is
sigh, I see what you mean, Molly.. bu6.33= a black professional person, working in the city.. stoooooooooooooooopid word!
it had its use in 1970s
how did I escape hearing it? H'mmm... well, I was in the country
i especially like it because it is the only word i have found so far!
lol jmc, and I had never seen it!
ah now i have a few i feel better
have seen na5.12 before, but never looked it up. It is an insecticide..
babble is so educational
... and ni5.12 means "bright".. (-:
this is so fun.. but I have to get going, will leave you with si6.24 = a small piece of bread soaked in gravy.. didn't know that either! So now I have my Babble "fix" and jollies for today (-:
mmmmmm gravy
bye snuffy have a great day!
ty jmc, you too! bye, Molly if you are still here.. till next time, poof
Happy Sunday morning to all of you

Thanks Molly great clue
Just over 9 hours ... sore coxis from sitting for so long lol
wow. Those are long flights. I know from Kentucky to Hawaii is a 7 hour flight
my sweetie went there for a convention .... he said to sit that long is horrible
It is the six hour time difference that gets you ... it would be worth 7 hours to go to Hawaii lol
ah forgot about the time difference
England is 6 hours ahead of us
so you just said. I misread

I would love to know how much the Apple people paid for the HUGE ad that's on the front page of Yahoo today.
do not know but i know a single page in the toronto star will run you $7,500.00
That thing takes up about an 1/8 of Yahoo's front page. It was probably very pricey.
and a half page above the fold is worth more than a half page below the fold.have got to love the idosyncrocies of newspring
newsprint
Mornin' cross, Molly, deb

i bought turkey bacon this week...made a turkey bacon sandy.....was ok
I don't mind the turkey bacon, but most people don't like it
cannot smoke anymore.gave that up ten years ago.good thing tooas just fresh air is an adventure now:(
well..if i want bacon....tht is the only option for me
carlee and pig do not play nice together
( mind..i love pigs...they are so darn cute )
ei
and turkeys aren't so cute
i mean in the frying pan,not as pets lol
ok, we are off, bbl!
turkeys are just dumb
byebye sue
tc suze
frying pan....oven... smoked...dried....cured....= bad..very very bd...extremely painful on the scale of i would do childbirth every day instead of tht kind of pain
poor carlee
its ok crossy...i dont feel am missing much...
carol said that that kind of pain is like taking your bottom lip and pulling it over your forehead,so you better not lol
anyway...i am thinking about cheaping out..getting some tart shells and some good mince and making mince tarts today... ( instead of making my own pastry..i am not THAT ambitious yet post exams)
but i did make a lovely albeit "dump" dinner last night....to go with my cinnabons
i buy pre-made pie and tart shells all the time
i make wicked pastry but i just cant be bothered anymore....someday when i have time..or i seriously want to "impress" someone ;)
mm,you could make me some chickem pot pies, all with that rich sauce, chunks of chicken brest, peas, onions, shaved carrotses,spices..mmmm
oh...when i do mine..i dont do pastry...i make dumplings..BUT..i cook in oven uncovered and they get all "biscuity" and my dumplings are full of butter...
mm chicken and dumplings..now yer talking...
soo flakey on top... golden brown... and my gravy is a chicken and white wine gravy
b
FOOD PORN!
have to get a nice fresh itallian loaf with creamery nbutter to sop up the gravy
or i can make my famous yorkie puds
last night was dump..ijust layered onion slices on the bottom... then slices of potatoes... then a stove top stuffing ( turkey) then a herb and wild rice mix ( i told you was dump ) then the chicken ( boneless skinless0 then chicken broth over top ...foil on top so all the liquid goes intot he rice... was soo yum
( I am not to the "from scratch" stage yet..give me a week
<---- thinkng there must not have been much food porn in the last couple of months
omne dish meals can be handy
one
made peas... big glass of milk... considering most "mels" for me the last 2months have been weiners and beans on toast..or fried eggs.. or canned ghetti or soup....with toast...
meals*
well, now you have some down time
yeap..i think i will run to the store and get some tart shells...and some PC mince
hmmm..wht else can i get..i guess ineed butter...maybe will find a good sugar cookie recipe...
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Holiday-L ights/Detail.aspx?src=rotd
ok..those are SOOO cute
hmm..or mayybe i will make some ginger bread ( not hte cookies..the bread)
goooooooooooooooooooood morning babblers!
howdy eva
mmmm fresh soft gingerbread cookies....
nope..the bread...the cake :)
hi eva..welcome to crossy and carlee's foodporn channel
do the mince, the gingerbread and do 3 or 4 loaves of fresh home made bread and the house will smell amazing
i may be spending today cookie-baking. :)
ive got a few recipes with all the ingredients. holiday party on thursday, so i need it all done by then.
hmmmm.... and maybe a batch of applesauce ;)
gone to make my list of what to buy...
toodles all
that reminds me. i have 4 apples and 2 pears ready to go to the dark side (assuming they havent already turned on me). wonder what i could make of them...
well, with the apples you can make crossys slow cooker jamacian pulled pork
dont have pork. trying to figure out what i can add to my day-o-baking with what i have on hand. mayhaps an apple-pear crumble... or pear-applesauce
well how about apple foldovers
do share...
bu
make the pastry cut into squares, fill with mashed apple, sinnamon mic, fold over into triangles, use egg white to seal edges and pinch with thumb, cut 3 slits in to and sprinkle with sugar
mix
after baking use a cake decorating bag with fine tip and add icing sugar lines
olde tyme fruit foldovers
or sift icing sugar over after with kitchen sieve
PB for you crossy!
4 large apples should make enough filling for 8-12 foldovers
off i go...
needed that one too:)
Hi everybody! I just finished. Vi7....what the ??? It took forever and some help.
and i see no reason not to combine the apples and the pears
vi 7??? eep!
It's " a province or main administrative division of Turkey." of course.
what a weird word, in a game of weird words
so mash the apples and pears, add cinnamon, and if you like a spoon or 2 of brown sugar
an administrative division of turkey?? omg
di
Instead of sugar, we use maple syrup.
that works as well
And now you have made me hungry. See ya, munch, munch, munch
things like this are great, anything can be added, sugars can be substituted, fruit can be changed..all grand stuff
secret is to not use to much filling or they will explode..a good tablespoon should be fine
cut your pastry squares about 4x4
lol, eva.did i bore you to death?
any clue for the bu6/33 and the bu7 after it which I assume is a plural?
Ouwa: The 7 is little dogs, with the first letter changed to a B; the 6 is the singular
got it...thanks
finished...need a clue before I leave?

We go to Beatle Fest every year here and met his ex-wife a couple of years ago
Patty, that is
Ah yes, Pattie Boyd. Who couldn't decide which famous musician she wanted.
It's the Oh My Lord song that did it.. she figured if he was going to start writing crap like that.. she's better off with Clapton
That woman was the Sheryl Crow of the 70's. She got around big time.
I read somewhere that Sheryl Crow was a horrible bitch and she treated her staff like slaves
on the plus side she's done several benefit concerts for good causes so who knows
Sheryl Crow stood up at a VHS Storyteller's taping that Don Henley did and asked how much a person could make as a back up singer these days. Henley's response was "I can't afford you anymore, darlin"
was she a back up singer for the Eagles? I didn't know where she came from
She was a back up singer for Henley.

Good morning, folks. Is it just me or this a really, really tough grid?
doesn't seem too bad for me
I have had to ask for a couple of clues though
i think it is challenging
depends on how many times you have to type in the same word to get it accepted.
gm everyone.
oooh, good phantom today! peptide
and I do think this grid is hard! I had to list AND use more words, just to hit NBT!
stats and clue for the U fourth row?
Me too, Trifioso. I think I worked on this one for about two hours last night in the wee smalls, and had to list with about fifty to go!
up/6/27 and up/7/44

evening all - back for my last 72
Hi Glantarell!
hi, glan
Hi jan, lbd, ruru
gm glan
brb
hello glantarell - just printed out your chicken recipe - sounds PERFECT for a winter's night!
it is yummy
struggling with li5/16 - any clues?
but just to check - it's a 1/2 tsp dried thyme, not 12 tsps, correct?
half a teaspoon
good evening
12 tsps would be a bit overwhelming LOL
thank you!
Hi ruby
hello ruby!
morning, ruby
Yes, twelve teaspoons would disprove the oft stated truism, "you can never have enough thyme"
wokka wokka!
Hi Ruby.
There are two li/5/16s. One plays off the li/4 before it, the other is a homonym for a common word meaning "to go away"
Hi All
Morning hego
I'm working on my last 153! as hard as yesterday's grid
there are 3 li5/16s and i have them all now
{{hego}}
And Happy Holidays to all. In case I don't run into you again.
Hi Ruby!!
hello hego
Bah! Humbug! ;-)
we had our first big snow and everything is beautiful!
it was the homonym I was missing
but as for the holidays, I agree with glanta!
Oh, Glant. : )
None for us as yet.
we've has couple of flurries and the mountains look pretty but none lying on the gound, thank goodness
there are some very odd words in this grid
After our 31 incher last year We're immune to the beauty of snow.
and sweet Max had his annual "re-discovery of snow"
snow, smow, I would be happy if I never saw it again. I remember all the shovelling and chopping I did last year
cute Ruby
and bah humbug too!
Me too Peri
this season is way too commercialized
Oh, dear
just found the homonym for 'people'
Hmmm...
ty Glant
phantom: spiedie for anybody from upstate New York
Does the 8 build from a 7?
sort of but has a different meaning
I want it to take tuile
I agree that the holiday season is too commercialized. You can hardly go into a store after late October without being assaulted by Christmas muzak and red and green decorations. This year Nordstrom pledged not to do decorations till after November 24 and they got a lot of positive press on it. I don't think anybody wants the holidays to last for months!
first 4 letters are the same as the 2 words before it
ty Glant
I don't think of Christmas until after Thanks giving.
I simply refuse to.
we had our first xams items in the supermarkets in the frst week of september
no wonder i feel bah humbuggy
See!
But I admit to enjoying this season more than others. Our dear little grandnephew is experiencing his first Christmas--he's about three but cognitively impaired, so last year he didn't appreciate any of it. This year he loves the tree, the music, the lights...
It's great with a little one around
We took him to the Christmas carrousel downtown and he was just thrilled.
fun
hint for the se6/21?
Just started
Is that a comment or a clue Hego? LOL
comment, sorry Glant.

hi everyone - back for 1/2 hour before tee tie
i did get to do a food tasting recently because somebody is hoping to supply medieval picnics for some of our events
*time
it was very nice
you'd have to eat with your fingers!!!
What does one have at a medieval picnic?
only of one hand
one has pies
and tarts
One wants one now.
lol
and bread and cheese
and whole animals, I'll bet
chicken pie with elderberries was rather nice
cooked in a pit
amd a sort of cheese tart - imagine brie baked in a pastry flan case
whole animals spit roased
Too ob the best cold remedies together in one dish!
and pottage
(chicken and elderberries)
I love anything with cooked cheese, sometimes bake old Reblochons when they get too crusty to eat raw
pottage ranges form porridge to stew - some fishy, some veggie, some meaty

Hi Sue
Is that a particle accelerator?
Just started looking at the chog. got 6 move words. Thanks all.
Hi Mixi
it's the ATLAS experiment at CERN, hego - it was today's Astronomy Picture of the Day, but I also used to work on it
I'm VERY impressed Sue!
Wow. exciting.
it was very interesting but the experimental group was too big - I finally got fed up with it (didn't feel like I was making any useful contributions)
Must have been interesting.
And lookgreat on your resume. lol
it was, and I loved Switzerland!
I sang my first solo today.
also very impressive , Mixi
yay, mixi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what did you sing?
1/2 an aria in the Messiah.
ooh, nice, those are hard!
now you're blowing my mind!

"he shall feed his flock like a shepherd"
no sixteenth notes.
Good for you Mixi
I sang tenor in the choruses. TeeHee. lol

Bear instincts. Just pile on the fat and sleep.
de5/16 anyone?
Except I have been in control of my diet since last spring and don't believe in bulking up anymore.

de5/16 = slow down, postpone
Do not have it. I have 44 left.
ty sigh...
i went for a (short) horseback ride this morning. was kinda fun to get out.
too cold.
brrr...
wasn't bad, actually. an antsy horse'll keep you pretty warm...
only if he sat on me. lol
:)
heh. but then he'd be pressing you intothe snow :P
mittens help :)
Snow is supposed to insulate you.
The horse had mittens?
not when it melts into your clothing! :P
got it! big fish
no, i had mittens. it helps with keeping fingers from freezing.
much better than gloves.
Name that proper Bard of our generation.
bob seger?

lolol
dylan
you pulling my leg.
ding ding ding
well, can't be devo then... that's just a phantom.
:D
I knew, but couldn't think ofhis last name.
senior moment
YOU COULDN'T THINK OF HIS NAME?
Zimmerman!
i know, I know
that's it!!
zimmerman?
I still don't have that de5 you were discussing. Unless it's the old Speaker of the House Tom De***
yes, he changed because he admired Dylan Thomas
Born Zimmerman.
it's Tom okay
oh. i don't think i know him. the only dylan i know is bob...
de + now i *** me down to sleep...
He was a poet
there's another de5... plural of de4, the place to get a corned beef sammie
No, we are talking about the old speaker of the House. When they had a baby, they sent cards that said "there will be a little De***"
Monkey!!
Well, they COULD have.
hego!
hi monkey :)
You made that up, kap!!
I guess I did have the de's all the time.
Yeah, I did.
what!?!
cute icon hego
hi jes
monkey!!!
well, I'm done anyway. lol
It would have been funny if they had done it. But Tom De*** wasn't known for his sense of humor.
grats, hego :)
Hi Monkey.
bittie!
hi kap & anybody else here
the skins won right?
Bittie came out of lurk. yay!
hehehe
hi hego!

for some reason "pube" is not a word
Poof!
is the 8 a plural?
no
OK thanks lynxxxxxx

hmm
You would find it in old poems when they where talkiing about late afternoon

thank u!
yw
Heyas kids ..
hi Tor!
hi, babblers
hello Welki
evening all - thanks for the 8
hi Kazz
velp
oops sorry
no apology required - but would have been nicer if it was a word i needed :)
TOR
GA
LISH
OUS!!!!
yeah - i am having problems with reading far too many SciFi books and kep thinking invented words are real
i don't think we're ready for torg's jelly
Thanks for that reception!
LeslitAnn, what jelly are you talking about
bootylicious
thought that's what you were referencing
are we both speaking English?
i'm speaking beyonce
oh OK! *checking boyonce reference book*
Tor are u still in Joisey?
Yup ..
are u getting home to SD for Xmas?
On the phone right now trying to get a flight back Tues.
OK cool
Grooving to the hold music ..
can only be barry manilow or the fifth dimension
Once, in an elevator, I heard the muzak version of "Born to Run" veeeeeeeeery interesting
ew - springsteen on percocet
softly singing "tramps like us.... baby... we were boooooorn to ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuun"
I believe there were piccolos
I thought it was allowing slang for people but it is a tree - pe6.27
*really laughing and lil*monkey's sweet rendition*
pe6 is slang for a tree?
and = at
no, it is a tree
hi again all!
hi uusue
hi Sue
hey sue - just the gal i want to see :)
what's up, welki?
sue, in 20 words or less, what could i possible say to my physicist kid that would knock him off his feet and make him wonder if i've suddenly gone genius?
That's sorted .. *sings* I'll be home for Christmas ..
well done, torg :)
yay Tor!
Tell him that neutrinos can't possible go faster than the speed of light, because otherwise the neutrinos from SN1987a would have gotten here four years before the light arrived
watching reruns of the big bang theory doesn't cut the mustard :)
(that was probably more than 20 words, though...)
*cut and paste - will make into a recording to play in loops overnight for memorizing*
can't *possibly* go faster.....
sorry typo
OK got that tree :)
he and i take great pleasure in bs'ing each other - i love watching his eyes pop
ah, I got the tree too, was trying to put the sometimes vowel in it
should be fun, welki :-)
pepsi :)
that's a clue for the eu7, change the last vwl to a sometimes
when he was a kid, he'd ask me questions, just to test me (like all kids) - but weird ones, like, "why is this called a counter?" and i'd scramble to make up some cockamamie story about the origin of the word counter - from grecian times, when monies were tallied on long marble tables
and then he'd look at me - true or false? "go look it up"
ha, got it, lynxxx!
sounds like he kept you on your toes, welki!
they all did - still are
I bet he remembers them all too Welki
Welki.. he sounds like a great son! Hello all :-)
probably - and song lyrics, too. he'd test me on those - what is that song about? "that one by Amy Sky," and i'd tell him it was about a dog who ate a whole roast off a COUNTER - it was called, "love ate the whole damned thing" ---- go look it up. and then he saw it was "love, hate, the whole damn thing"
BBL got a frisky dog to walk
hi soodle!
oh it's a fragile relationship, but when we're together, it's good. he's not my biological son, but my step-son
(((welki)))) step relationships can be tricky
tricky is a gentle way of putting it, sue - i also have two step-daughters, and three biological daughters
Hey.. regardless of the biology.. positive relationships are all good.
*raises a glass to Soodle* amen, my friend
clues for the left column i please... i don't have ANY of the 5
*Came in just in time to raise a glass*
what your car engine does at the stop light

Happy to drink to Welki and her complicated arrangements.

oops, that's the upper i
id5 - stupid person
And very happy to raise a glass to Moll and Moll's clan!!!
in4 - in + 7th scale tone
talked to my dad this afternoon - he said that he hated being in the army (WWII) but remembered having some good times - he also hated being in the rehab center (last winter) and does not remember any good times there AT ALL. He is very happy to be home on his own.
ah thanks all!!!!
that box is now greyed and I have been fish thwacked 5 times
How lovely that he is content, Sue.
stinks, doesn't it monkey?
yes but thank goodness it's brief
bottom u clues?
it is good, soodle - as long as he is healthy enough to live on his own. If his health starts to fail it is going to be a very tough battle to get him out of his house.
just for everyone's information, littlebit & I saw the Sherlock Holmes movie yesterday and it is FANTASTIC!!!!!
up + I have a big **** of laundry to do
oh, Frank wants to see it - maybe we will go in the next few days! thanks lil!
i just got back from that, it was fun
up + don't step in that **** of doggy doo
ty
and then plural
yw uusue... it was so good, I would go again
There is no up6/27 to stepping in doggy do ..
Oh Sue... I am in that place with my parents. Independent living is looking less and less likely, but woe betide anyone who suggests any alterative.
that's the top tor... and given enough time, bet we could come up with one
Ah yeah .. fish me up6 the head ..
If you are ti5 you might step in doggy doo
ooooo - didn't have that - ty monkey!
If you are ti5, you might be doing the tu4 steak boogie
heh
well, soodle, so far he is fine, thinks he should be good to live on his own for another 5-10 years (HE IS 90!!!). I hope he is right.
i once stepped in what a friend thought was doggy doo, but it was only a clod of dirt. He'd never seen dirt that wasn't black before.
bet you'd never hear THAT in an elevator - well through the audio system anyway
LOL
tu4 steak?
I made the transition from independent living to assisted living with both my folks. You just have to do it as gently as you can.
I'm sure there are muzak versions of all the ZZTop hits :)
Blow your top, blow your top!
kje don't ev4 pretend you don't know
cheap sunglasses
evvy girl's crazy bout a sharp dressed man!
I know a gal who lives on the hill, she won't do it but her sister will...
*groovin' to 'she's got legs* by the harry mancini orchestra
lol Molly... hey how about dat game!
lol welki
henry, not harry - harry's his brother, the one with the dry cleaning store
And it's tu4 snake
uhm .. or steak, depending on who's in the room
in G-rated room - tu** steak = hot dog
Lil, it just figures we would beat the Giants this late in the season. Grr.
It was still very satisfying for me, Molly :D
bicycle inner tu4
hi all,si6 pls
*Leaves, dismissed from the G-rated room, wondering where the under age kids are and how my comment was offensive*
bu 6/33 is a riot. Never thought it would be in Enable
huh? how was your comment offensive? thought mine was more offensive than yours!
(but funny, all the same :)
You bet your sweet bu6 ..

hi, jess - how're the ponies doing? the dogs and cat?
not bad; took 2 of the rescues out for a ride this morning to see how they'll do. the third is too skinny to feel right making him pack me around yet!
eu7?
eu + variant spelling of the cola drink in the blue can
smarten up looks like a "palomino-paint"
si6 = small drink + house cat or dog
ty monkey!
amazing that they let you ride, jes - bareback?
yw... and thanks tor for si6
the 2 adoption prospects i had on the dog fell through though, so he's still stuck in the kennel.
She probably wears clothes welki
darn, but you know how that goes - and always best that they back out before they take those poor souls home (even if it's hard on you)
he's a registered paint, and pretty good lines, I'm told (I don't follow breeding a lot). damn shame to find him in that conditon.
jesdraggon aka Lady Godiva
hah! too cold for nekkid riding, welki! :)
No interest yet in the cats.
bummer on the dog, jes, but good to hear about the horses
he's got beautiful markings - my stomach hurt when i saw him though.
he's a sweetie so far, welki.
difficult to bring a starving horse back up, so easy to bloat
*packing a bag and moving in with jes*
yeah; not doing anything in a hurry, just lots and lots of grass hay.
heh. if you wanna go ramble about the country, I'll set you up with a horse and a dog :)
if it's near fishable water, that would be my idea of heaven
you'll have to hire a digger to put a pond in then, and stock it with fish.
well, if you want water on the place here, anyway. there are a couple lakes around, but a long horse ride from here.
hmm..you're in the midwest?
no, all the way west
1st pi5?
all the way west - well that narrows it down *lol*
as much as mid west does :P
kje past tensed of pi 4 before it
sorry, 1dt pi5/12?
ugh - mt. laundry is begging to be scaled. jes, will look for you next time i'm out west (i'm sort of west, but not as far as you, i suppose) - i'll be wearing a lime green fishing cap

ty big
heh. yes, I'll watch for you :)
pe 6/27 pls

"We scientists, whose tragic destiny it has been to make the methods of annihilation ever more gruesome and more effective, must consider it our solemn and transcendent duty to do all in our power in preventing these weapons from being used for the brutal purpose for which they were invented." -- Albert Einstein, Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, September 1948
and one extra since this is new...
Atomic bombs are just one of the weapons of destruction available.

Hi Doren
hi Dorens
hi dorens
i think i killed my ailing macbook. it has been funny lately, and dropped it. now it won't turn on---dropped it on carpeted floor, it's been done before
that doesn't usually end a mac... it is pretty drop-proof
time for the geniuses at the bar
exactly-- only problem is the applestore is at the mall.not quite a favorite destination this week
actually it makes noises and the green light comes on, just can't get the monitor fired up.
lolol
that almost sounds dirty, dorens ; )
se6/21-any clues?
anagram plural of jewish sandwich shops
Doren, sorry to hear that Mac can't get it up.
a sign of aging, or so they say
Maybe put a little Cialis in his hard drive.
haha - imagine trying to get my MD to write a script for it.
Poor Mac, his disc is floppy. Tell him it's not his fault.
guess something happened to the hard drive?
any other clues for se 6/21?
se + don't worship a false **** - change third letter
you didn't like my clue? i thought i twas a lovely clue

tx leslieann
*sticks tongue out at dorens*
I liked your clue Doren.
think it is four years... was a gift from ken. it is cute. i am not in the mood to buy a new one, bought my daughter an airbook in september and my new mac in august.
afternoon :)
thanks molly *sticks tongue back at LA and wiggles fingers in the ears too*
hi mr p. how goes it?
hoping the geniuses can come through for you, dorens
As with cars, laptop life depends on how much they are used.
i'm sure they can. just will cost some ucks! it was ready anyway - was actiing weird and needed some tinkering
that is bad though moll, i use it a LOT!
Well Doren, the more use that hard drive gets, the less fired up it will become. Especially with age.
I think I have officially worn out my cache of double entendre.
haha ok. will keep you posted when i brave the mall to see the geniuses
Time to say good night, Gracie. Dinner time. I made some of oodlebum's famous carmels. Someday I will cook it long enough. At least it is not spoon candy. Love to all. Take some caramels to the PB if you happen to go there.

techy question...on your mobile phones, do you need to charge it often? I rarely use mine and it seems to need to be charged daily.

Then charge again.

huzzah, fireworks
whoooo hooooo LA!!!
herin i have a stratosphere by samsung
and it's relatively new...like 2 months
Ok. Well it should be under warrenty. Return it
Congrats, LeslieAnn!!!!!
You could have a lemon battery.
that's what i was thinking. i have to go by the store tomorrow, so i guess i have another stop to make.
thanks herin.
It has a power saving mode
Apparently there is an extended battery you can buy for it but I suggest what you do is say it is being dodgy can I get a deal on that battery
i'll see what they say. I would think that it should last longer than two months.
Well if it is just draining out it seems like a lemon
all these new fangled electronic gadgets are just mind boggling! lol
Hi babblers! It's almost the shortest day - only gets better from here!
I haven't got a Samsung but I hatted mine
hiya shdy!!
lbd! *big hug*

hi herin!
Were you been hiding?
hibernating, not hiding, lol, i do it every winter, hate the cold
it's kinda funny, herin. I teach basic computers so i do know enough to teach the stuff, but when it comes to new techonology, i'm really out of the loop. i had to have some friends explain how facebook worked
plus the whole name change to br8 thing
Shady I missed uou
lbd, the best thing for new tech will always be a child under the age of 10!
shdy, are you going to go for the ph.d?
i think so, lbd, i just need to get through this dog thing first, not sure how long bear will be here, shady's spot is beautiful
oh dear, forgot about bear not being up to snuff.
sorry, herin, been kind of distracted, I'll do better?!
No no Just miss seeing you about
lol at getting a kid to help me! darn grandkids are in San Diego.
lbd, one of these days i will make a website, love them all. My song for Shady - Kenny Wayne Shepard, Blue on Black
LB I have problems with lighters that have kid proofing
hehe, grinning, herin!
i hate those types of lighters, herin. i also always ask the pharmacy for non child proof caps.
Same as those pharmacy things too
OOOOOOOO happy to say have not had a whole smoke since November
yahoooooo Herin!!
I have had a drag or two but not a whole smoke. Bene really good
