I cooked meals 4 days a week for a woman who worked with mrs ru.. for 10 years... when it was at the end.. it was just incredible. the release and the thanks and the love... I was paralyzed with sadness

I keep putting new straw in our youngest dog's house for bedding, others say why, it's not winter now, but the floor's so hard! Can't give him a pillow bed like the other (older) dog out there, because he says "whee" and shreds it up!! the older boy relishes his pillow bed.

yes, on his way to work. There is this bend in the road that is kind of known for its accidents. He was going slow, but somebody on the other lane was not. That one lost control over his car and blundered into Rob's. He is not yet coming home... they are looking for a replacement car. I offered to pick him up, but he says he is ok.

it's weird to think my cousin is about the same age and lost a leg in afghanistan but HE is happy and well
but you my lovely friends always help me get it right
it's been a while, but I seem to remember it gets into themind of one of these hyper-intellectual kids that tries to rationalize suicide..
and he comes to the conclusion that since life is not worth living, nothing is worth doing, including killing yourself, so he just keeps on going.
it touched me when I was in college - the same type - superbrainy, had it all, ended his life with a gun, and hurshy you're right, there's no explaining how some people can just keep pushing on no matter what
the suicide rate for bright gifted youth is higher than would be expected. there have been several studies and books written about this topic
actually there are studies which are exploring that topic. . .i took a trauma healing class as part of this peace keeping degree since trauma often goes along with conflict
they are looking at what make resilience (a term borrowed from physics i believe) and it is generally related to having survived smaller traumas before, strong relationships and forgiveness
all very important - but not all trauma involves forgiveness, unless you include self-forgiveness
well you do need to forgive yourself. . . me i still get upset about the time in jr high when i went into the blys bathroom! haha
