we had mothering sunday here back in March

we do it later here,no fun in the usual march weather
we have just spent the morning in the garden - planted onions (about 200), sweet corn, brussel sprouts
mmmm,brussel snouts:))
we also had to chase the cabbage white butterflies off - just planted the sprouts and 2 turned up so they have now been netted
:( when we used to do big gardens up north it was always potato bugs and deer eating the lettuce we had to worry about
the sprouts not the butterflies and we have also constructed a net over the onions to save them from the pigeons
start what you can indoors,plant in june and it all had to be out of the ground in october
our growing area is only 4m by 4.4m - hubby built a raised bed - we also bought another green house on of these plastic covered ones made of thin aluminium poles and have been hardening off the plants in ther
the main green house again only a small one has chillies and tomatoes - some of the chillies are 6inches long now
very nice,raised or terraced garden are nice and use the space well

way back when,my mum loved to garden,but always had back issues so my dad made long raised planter boxes just like garden rows but raised 4 feet off the ground with good drainage at the base.she could walk the rows,weed,plant all with minimal bending over
and it stopped the wild rabbits cold:))
of course it said to the deer "dinner is served" hehe
thats partly the idea behind this - the hard was quite sloping and we thought the raised beds would cure the problem - which it has to a certain extent. We don't have bunnies but we do have mice - a neighbours cat helps make a dent in the population - carried off one that had been caught in on the traps
believe it or not when we had the allotment we had a problem with deer. they loved the brussel sprouts
i am sure they did:)

my dad used to get one tag for each hunting season.beef was crazy expensive.one deer would carry us through most of the winter.you would trade with the butcher to dress it down for you he would grab a roast or 2 and all the rest would be cut and wrapped all nice to take home..the butcher never had to hunt
mum ( craftylady ) daniel just got 38 to go on birthday cake how mean is that lol xx
ate deer and moose growing up so much,that when we did get get beef,the beef tasted funny to us
i love deer - can't really afford it here now - its quite pricey and you have to decide where to spend the money
we have a chuck of buffalo in the freezer - there is a farm on hubbys route home and its fantastic

I am do 4/5 with the grid. Now I am re 5/16 to write a story of clues for today's da4/5 May 13,2012.When I was a te4/4ager, I wasn't in a very positive st5/10 of mind when it came to my self esteem. I te4/5ed to think the very worst of myself.I thought that I was a fa5/16 because my outfi4/7s were tight on me.I was not fo 4/8 of my weight. I started to buy non-tr6/27 clothes that were too big so others would not notice my weight.I went on a crash di4/5 and ate very little fo 4/8. I would never eat anything like ta4/4r tots. I would never tr 5/10 myself to a Mr. So 6/27. I would take little bi4/6s of whatever fo4/8 I was eating. My sister would always say "She ea 4/4 like a bird". I also didn't drink anything like so 4/7 or juice, only water. I thought I was fa4/7d to be fat my whole life. Hubby wants computer, but I do not give a di 4/5 this time. I will not surre4/5er the laptop to him anytime so4/4 like I usually do. I am going to be a st6/24 and st 4/6 here.I'll be here off & on to clue until my brain starts to fa 4/8 away. In the meantime, I hope you are able to find more words after re 4/5ing this story of clues
