I love goats, but unfortunately, they love roses. Sheep too. There are many places in France where they use goats or sheep to keep the grass cut.
I never thought of keeping a goat as a landscaper
and the farmers bring about 30 sheep down to the field across our road, every fall, to eat the long grass
on our morning news the Police was called out to a home with lots of animals dead and many others knocking on heavens gate--thats a sad thing to hear for those poor creatures
they both landscape and fertilize!

alexis, ours would act differently, depending on who was near him...my husband, the goat would rearup and put his hooves on his shoulders, and lick his sweaty face....the children he would very gently butt until they fell over....me, he always was very gentle with, and would stand quietly by my side, and let me scratch his head for him.

Hi, everyone! Bichon, I constantly sufer from allergies in every way imaginable. I'm my own worst enemy, though, since I'm allergic to cats and have three!! Allergic meds help to a degree but never completely take care of it.

I've found that I get kind of used to my own after awhile but then when I get around other cats I really suffer. It used to be bad when I worked with exotic cats at the wildlife park---I was constantly sneezing, rubbing eyes and taking medication. But I must feel it's worth it....can't imagine being without my cats now.

Growning up, I always wanted a cat, but my mom was allergic. I finally got my 1st cat when I was 19. My mom was coming over to visit and check up my new apartment, I told her I just got a cat but would vacuum well and put her in the bedroom....she laughed and told me " I'm not allergic I just can't stand cats"
It seems that people are more allergic to cats than dogs...not sure why. I'm also allergic to everything in nature (pollen, grasses, hay makes me crazy) and dust....great because I live in the desert and must dust every day. I should move to Antarctica because I don't think I'm allergic to snow!

we couldn't have pets because we lived in a place that didn't allow pets. We could have fish and parakeets
I was raised with my biological father as my brother. Met my bio mother at 22 and her 5 other kids but the funny thing was I was actually more like her than any of them including my looks...genes are weird.

My first child was born in England--she's the one who died recently--it will be hard going without her but if I don't go now, when. Am getting too old!
The father of my best friend of 43 years nicknamed us PB&J 40 years ago. Now if I have a PB&J sandwich, I'll ask her if I'm being a cannibal!!
My dad worked as a meter reader for the electric company and drove a taxi part time
