hiya scouser :)
hey sprite. did you see ruby's email re her DH?
hiya rose, yes I did :) Am happy it is nothing serious. They have enough stress without that already.
*catching up on chog* night isles, and thanx again for your help.
too true, sprite
and how are you today, rose?
sprite, new pain management regime going well. was only awake for 20 minutes overnight.
and you dearest? all well your end? is the sun shining?
oh wow! That is really good. Once you get your full sleep every night, you will start feeling so much better.
oh, yeah. i actually felt like going shopping today. didn't feel like it was a drag.
no sun, it is autumny here. Hard winds, lots of leaves flying around, not warm. Hoping for a bit of summer later on, sigh. Otherwise: all well! Husband's birthday and father's day today, but we decided to celebrate next week, when a dear friend of ours will come to stay.
oh isn't that the truth! It makes all the difference. Impossible to explain to 'normal' peepz how hard it is to do the simplest things when you are exhausted by pain.
oh, nice, sprite. please give himself my best wishes and many happy returns of the day.
will do! He is still asleep, grin. The dog sleeps with him and usually he is the one who feeds Terra in the morning. But I took Terra this morning, so Rob could sleep in.
name that proper name: famous Duck.
oh, dear. if you could only see what i see. himself toppled over just be6. leaned rather heavily on our remote control holder. it is polished wood, and quite nice. one side fell off.
Donald
ding ding ding! Well done bfdeel :)
now he has pulled the WHOLE thing apart, and is re-gluing every join.
oh dear. Did he hurt himself?
thank you
sprite and bfd, that is my adored hubby's name
oh what a lovely name!
i don't think he hurt himself, or else he wouldn't be kneeling on the floor, putting it together again....ON THE POLISHED WOOD COFFEE TABLE...AARRGGHH!!
all of the men I have known with the first name of Donald have been really great
well, no exception to the rule here, bfd
lol rose... relax.... breathe... if that is the price you pay for having your husband happy... it is minor ;)
I think your husband is the very first person I 'meet' who has this name.
he doesn't like it. we have an ad over here for processed meats. the actor says " is Don, is good" he had it quoted at him too many times. it's sad really. i love his name, along with the rest of him...
and then there is Donald Duck....so we can't call him Unca Donald.....but grandpa don works quite well.lol
oh, good, he had the perspicacity to put newspaper down first...whew!
oh wow... that is a new word for me, rose! Perspicacity? What does it mean exactly?
well, I love that name. You tell him :)
wisdom, foresight
lovely. I'll try and remember it.
the first c is hard as in candy, the second c is soft as in city
I figured it would be like that. And the 3rd syllable is stressed, right?
yes, sprite
thanks :)
arrrrggghh... my love is nagging....
hello?
Burt is all better, but I'm making him continue his antibiotics anyway
"why did you cut the bamboo sticks loose? Now I have to measure them all and saw them one at a time."
hi ruby. How are things? Burt feeling ok still?
ah good to hear, ruby! Yes, antibiotics must be finished or burt might end up with resistant bacteria.
ruby, exactly, my dear. one MUST take the full course of the antibiotics, as i said. otherwise, one may develop a strain of the bug which is immune to the medication
exactly. My first husband was named Donald as was the years'-ong BF aftrer that
lon*
long*
great name.
lol rose... almost the same text, you and me. Great minds...
and ruby, how are you today? Did you sleep? *hugs*
id wwe had to depend on our doctors, we'd probably all be dead by now lol
what has happened to my typing
your typing just reflects your creative nature
I must say I am usually pretty content with our doctors here. I do take a rather active approach with them, but they have a lot of knowledge.
but between rose and Google, I was totally prepared when the doctor arrived
that is wonderful, ruby.
if I had left it up to my local oncologists, I'm sure I ould be dead now
hi all - anyone computer-savvy enough to help. My Lickety fill-ins go with yesterday's grid BUT the printable form is today's. ???
but you took a very active approach and you are still with us, thank God
hi jwr, I'm useless for that
hi jwr, you may want to force-refresh. On windows that is Control + F5.
{{prite}}
and happy birthday to Rob!
thanks, I will pass it along :)
try refresh clues at top of screen
Hi Sprite -- I'll try that. (Ruby, join the club!)
fano
ditto, sprite. we have changed to a doctor who specialises in family medicine. she also looks at the dynamics within a family. very important considering our family consists of a 59 year old, a 61, and a 94 year old. also one of us is medically trained, another has a good deal of first aid knowledge...the last one is , well, she just is.
hi pms
hi sprite
roup
sorry. not used to typing in chat box.
*grin* Love the way you put it, rose. Yes it is very nice to have some knowledge yourself. My pov is that I am the specialist when it comes to my health. I know most about what ails me.
I think with cancer, doctors want to put people into control groups and not necessarily give a person the best chemo. I consulted at Mass General, had the head medical oncologist design my protocol and then "shopped" it in Miami
np PMS, glad to have you with us
wtg ruby. I think it is really important to be active, to look around and ask around and make sure you get the best for YOU.
and, although I had extremely strong chemo, I was never nauseous because the doctor in Boston said they must put Atavan in the drip
I was able to work through the whole thing, except for the afternoons I got chemo
Thanks for the idea, sprite. It refreshed the grid, just like the refresh icon (semicircle with arrow at one end) does -- but didn't affect lickety. Any other ideas; this is the second day in a row it's happened, tho the first time I spotted the printable form as being current.
wow that is great.
oh, you first have to click with your mouse somewhere in the clue area. Then do force-refresh.
Ruby, I caught the chat in the middle but I couldn't help noticing the reference to control groups. I've only known that done at teaching/research hospitals. Not coincidentally, hospitals named "General" (San Francisco G was where I worked), are usually teaching hospitals. Even then, though, unless you've volunteered to be part of a trial group, I can't imagine them putting you in one. Sorry if I got that wrong, just sticking my old nose in.
new word for the babble dictionary: agecap - the age at which you decide not to age any further
you're right, trial group. It's so long that I forgot the right word
one doctor gave me no choice so I aved bye bye
but to have your chemo tailors (without charge, I might add) by the chief at Mass General, was a Lucky break
tailored*
see you later, kids, off to lunch
bye ruby
and thank you for all your help and support yesterday
and today, I have totally different weather from Sprite; usually it is similar. Waving some sunshine in Sprite's direction
*woof*
true Ruby. It's a trade-off. Best wishes.
enjoy the sunshine, hun
Sprite is a genius, a veritable genius, a absotively posilutely smart cookie (with chips)
*giggles* I take it the force-refresh worked? ;)
nah. I was just making a vague, general observation . . .
lolol
xoxox, ruby. have a lovely day. hope burt continues to improve.
must be nice, knowing stuff. Oh and thanks. Bye Ruby. And all, for awhile. I'm at work, calls coming in and we're now working on live chat at the same time, a little headachy.
have a good day at work jwr!
Who wants to work in the daytime? That's for sleeping!
lol
have a good night at work then
lol, jwr...have a good one

Hi all :)
morning,liz
lol, crossy. i think if we couldn't view motoGP, DH would be very upset.
cooee liz
hola
Congrats on finishing the grid before lickety came online, Rose. Awesome!
hehe.i still watch programmes, but via streaming on the nex and soon on netflix, but on my terms without all the garbage that cable tv programming force feeds you along with the good
rosie kicked the grids arse!
hey kje
good for you, granny.... I'm finding this one challenging
I fast forward past all adverts! Rarely watch anything live on a channel with adverts!
aw thanx liz,
26 left here - mostly 5s and 6s - nasty grid.
i had a older cable box and tv,liz the only way for me to skip the adverts would of been to turn the tv off,but it was more in the offerings and paying for 400 channels when just 4 or 5 of them were worth using
90 dollars a month was a pile of money to follow 5 or 6 shows and wait weeks for half decent movies to come up
I understand that and we chose our package carefully but still don't use that many channels - the problem was wanting UKTV - finding a package, which included that!
that is the problem here, liz, the good channels are almost always in the next tier of service,so you pay an extra 30 or 40 a month for those one or 2 "specialty" channels
Most difficult is finding a show that we both want to watch!
fablier.... sure... let's try it... I'm just making stuff up now, Can't see anything!
we never did get the a la carte programming they are still experementing with
*giggle* still on free-to-air tv here. himself is too tight fisted to pay for cable/satellite.
I like that word, kje.
i read that a la carte would actually work out worse for the consumer - an economist in slate
lol, liz, that's why we have DVD's....
We had cable in the UK and it would've been difficult to move here and not have something similar. Especially for me - less so for my hubby!
I have no TV, got rid of it 6 years ago, don't miss it at all
we will never know, hurshy.they did a test group in london ontario and there it stagnated
hey hurshy...how are you, hun?
do watch Netflix though... just watched Objectified... highly recommend
We don't buy many DVDs but often rent them on the everything at $1 Tuesdays!
i'm fine thanks
indeed, kje.now i just stream exactly what i want from the internet
and like i say, netflix is on the drawing board very soon
We also use the computer and watch BBC iView.
we buy dvds movies once they hit the 5 dollar sale bin
oh, dear...carl crutchlow just low-sided out, and so did nicky haydn...same place. methinks something wrong with that corner of this track...
bit of oil or water perhaps\
Think I'm giving up for tonight. Not seeing any more words! Perhaps I'll have more luck with those final 26 tomorrow!
oh cross it just occurred to me, that the economics the guy argued might be different in canada. but, whatever.
in case you're wondering, hurshy. i'm wandering between babble and motoGP.
and then, if there is something I really want to see (Big Bang is the one current show I keep up with), then I can buy a season pass on iTunes which is usually around $30, which means I then own those episodes, can watch them right after airing, and still way cheaper than if I owned a TV (granted, I don't find I want to watch many shows... after being away from it for awhile, it becomes more annoying somehow)... someday that may change, but for now, I just like not having it in the house
Happy Rose - babble and bikes!
gn liz
here, the idea behind a la carte would of been this: you pay your basic so you get the feed and the cable box, then you cherry pick a 15 channel or 30 channel station pack of your choosing for a second price
oh, yeah. lol, liz
See you all again soon. Goodnight Rose and have a good day everyone else!
galier... more feminine
right i know but the ground work behind it all, what the government laws and consumer protections would be... would affect how the forces would shape the prices, etc.
good morning all
and obviously canada might have better laws than the US.
night, liz. you too, hun
we will never know now it seems
and good morning, teach
all i know is i am bummed out that we are still not allowed hulu
hence the "whatever" lol
hi wv

Hey Crossy and Mom. Yep, I am missing my Dad. It is our 2nd one without him and last year I was in a fog of raw grief.

Hi Harry

Is he a respectful, responsible young man, Crossy?

happy father's day to all dads and those who are celebrating their dads!
or maybe it is just the ones I know
Bad go of it, Peri?
not today
Peri, I see it in my office everyday both with kids and their parents. I should not be surprised anymore but I am still stunned at the rudeness.
I hope not, peri :(
Thanks JBV. I am celebrating my Dad today. He was the best and I was lucky to have him in my life.
peri,if i had ever talked to my dad the way my kid sometimes trys to talk to me,my da would of eith a: shot me for being rabid B: took a strip off my arse with a belt, or c: had me doing evil chores till i begged for mercy
Peri, wishing you a good day.

Wow, that is some claim to fame Peri. 2 members of Hootie And The Blowfish went to my son's high school. That's as close as I get.
chubby checker was in my class, reall name Ernest Evans. Fabian was a year or two behind
Dr. Spock went to the school at which I teach
I am not sure but I think Frankie Avalon also went to the same high school.
<----- wishes we had a Marshall's. Good for you for you for treating yourself
looks funny spelled that way bologna
Actors James Whitman and John Schuck went to my high school, ages ago.
hahaha, thanks crossy for standing up for the real spelling of the word ;)
:))
I bought a periwinkle nailpolish at Target yesterday! it is by Essie and much more expensive than any polish I have bought before. But I am worth it. Will take pics once I give myself a pedicure.
My ex went to college with Jack Wagner.
No one famous went to my schools. :-)
YOU went to your HS, Mom!
Please do, Peri
Good for you Peri. You ARE worth it.
aw, thanks Mom

hi crossy...and hello nononanette
think i will get to half way no problem, but after that i think this grid is going to get painful

:))
yaa for jilly!!
Yay for cross!!
<----thinks its the small things in life....
it is.if you never celebrate the small things, you just go from one unfulfilled thing to another and are unhappy
'morning, folks
for instance, today i got up on this side of the dirt!! yaaaa! no dirt naps for crossy!...and you just build from there
howdy,welki
I liked Molly's icon and sentiment on her post yesterday...we HAVE forgotten how to celebrate.
And, we truly should realize that drawing breath for another day is a celebration!
LOL, was typing my comment before I read yours crossy!
yup, because although life may suck, death is a bitch that does not put out at all:)))
stole that from frank zappa
And good morning welki!
the b,s are hiding well.only have 8 of them
I most of them if you need a clue crossy...they are quite twisty
i will dig at them a bit yet:)
have all of them now...
found 2 more
struggling to find the an8..
Monkeyed it!
and now it is time for crossy,s tidbit of the day!!!
an organism that doesn't use oxygen
Kleenex tissues were originally marketed as a cold cream remover, not a disposable handkerchief.
<-- a little late :)
but ty welki!
INteresting crossy but can't imagine using them dry to remove makeup!
apropos to the mini-convo you and crossy had, mary chapin carpenter's song, 'everything we got, we got the hard way' just came on
jilly - a kleenex and some pond's cold cream!
Well, just glad kleenex evolved....ewhh to cloth hankerchiefs....germy nasty...
Back in the day, women used to put cold cream on their faces. I believe the quote meant that Kleenex was marketed to remove cold cream, not makeup.
connection here is lagging - later, folks
bye welki
Help for re7 -- PLEASE!!!
re + started
THANK YOU, Molly!!!
There is a great scene in Mrs. Doubtfire where Robin Williams sticks his face in a cake frosted with white icing to make it look like he has cold cream on his face.
chuckling at molly's new icon....
I love that movie molly!
I do too. I love the scene where he pretends to be people calling about the Nanny position. I...am...job.
Or playing soccer to Ae4/4smiths Dude Looks Like a Lady...
Good movie to think about on Father's Day....
You know, the world pretty much sucks when CBS has decided not to air the national broadcast of the 4th of July Boston Pops concert.
I would hope that PBS will...
We get our local Capitol 4th show on PBS that night, broadcast from The Mall.
The Mall in DC, not the shopping mall (for all you non-Americans)
But God forbid if a sporting event was not broadcast...
Having a chuckle with grid, I had a dream last night that we went back to Hawaii....just found the la5/10 to go with the oc5/12...
and i used the clues :) <-- i have no shame
Oh fess up. You had a dirty dream about grass skirts and coconut bras : P
And with that note, going to head out. 26 left...have a couple garden chores then we are spending the afternoon taking hubby to a movie and dinner...
Hi/bye shirlockc!
And :P Molly...
hi
hi/bye jane too...*po4/9*
i'm guessing coconut bras would be a little uncomfortable
Depends on how much fruit is in the coconut.
love the icon molls
I's been that kind of week
*It's
lol
i wonder how coconut bras would go over in Montana?
I think they are more into cowboy boots and Daisy Dukes out there.
Howdilly doo, neighbors!
good morning judi
man.. two stinky boards in a row...
Heidely-ho Judi
Do we have to pay extra for big grids these days?
don't give Doctor God any ideas Molly :D
It's like a Babble drought
We've hit a dry "spell".
this is a difficult grid for me but I will persevere and then maybe give myself a pedicure with a bluish nail polish. not the periwinkle one.
All of our big grid skills are withering away. Woe is us!
one of the polishes is more blue and one is more purple. I like them both
Hi All
hi hego
Sounds good, Peri. I need a pedi myself.
waiting to see Peri's toes.
ah, blue toenails... I never get those unless I am stupid about dropping things... (((peri)))
hey all
it is a tedious process but less expensive than a salon
Hiya Stiddy
hi stiddy
I tried blue nail polish once. Looked like I had corpse toes.
lol
really, I hope my do not look like that, I will be very unhappy
green is worse, looks like a bad infection.
mine, even
Hi Ruru
hey ruru
I would never do green. Eesh.
I had teal nails last year but only used the polish once
good morning hego
<---glad he doesn't have to paint his toenails
I've seen it done Judi.
Lucky men.....
yours will be lovely, peri -- deeper blues work well for toes
hi stid
When we went to the car dealership a few weeks ago, our sales girl had 5 different polishes on each hand. I was way too much variety. Very distracting.
but these are not deep blues. I will see how they turn out. if not good, no one else will see them. they did have a darker periwinkle type blue but that was as expensive as the periwinkle one
I would not think that was professsional, Judi
young ones like that stuff.
she just couldn't make up her mind
If the periwinkle is too light, I will return it
Oh Peri, you would be surprised at the ugly stuff they do in some salons.
I love it when Grant gets his nails done -- he has had some really interesting patterns... :-) they often match his socks.
my granddaughter used to get M&M toes. You can imagine.
I have not been a salon in over a year
your son gets his nails done stid?
I have never been in a salon. Wouldn't know what to do if I did! LOL
Some of her nails had designs on them, too. I would think the manicurist would have advised otherwise, but, as long as she was willing to pay for it...
Grant gets his toes done? really?
68 left and stuck
sometimes, ruru -- it's fun, and apparently (teen talk mode) "it's a thing"
I miss inexpensive US mani/pedis
56 here and in the doldrums, peri
It is too costly here
Hi Ruby
I don't know if he has had his toes done, but his fingers many times
I am not in the mood to do a pedi. wish someone would offer to do it for me
bbl
hi hego
Hi Gang.. I see we are talking nail polish.. I vote for "azalea" toes, my "happy toes"..
oooh. like azaleas! hey Aloyisius!
DIL had blue toenails
I usually pay about $23 + tip here. I feel like I should pay more. I mean they wash and buff your feet, etc etc.
I have a bronze color right now.
and ruby ((hugs))
{{stidmama}}
wonder what the dahli lama charges
here it is more than $50 for a manicure which is insane
howdy stid!
Dahli lama?
Well, manis are more if you get gel nails or whatever. I can't do manicures. Don't like stuff on my fingernails.
oops the Pope.. doesn't he wash the feet of the poor?
do they use gold leaf, ruby?
Judi, that's what I pay too.
Mother Theresa used to was the feet of the poor.
doesn't last long on my fingernails
right Ruru. :)
I only did it once, before we moved here
I think I just read about the new pope having to do that
you did
it's some sort of weird vatican tradition
in Miami when I was working I had my nails done every week and my feet, once a month
The pope did do that. I think it was his choice - act of humility and all.
my manicurist and I still exchange letters
I get arylic Aloy, lasts forever.
Was it Madge, Ruby?
lol
lol
On ash wednesday, I think ruru ... priests wash the feet of a few people to demonstrate their "humility" but it's a rare pope who lives that rule the rest of the year.
Speaking of divas... name that proper noun. Last name of famous hungarian acting sisters.
Never seen a guy with nail polish on. Except for maybe Steven Tyler.
Gabor
I did
Gabor...
Ding! Ding! Ding! Molly wins a mani/pedi from the cabana boys!
I played tennis with a guy and he took his socks off and had red nail polish..
can I watch?
I hope you didn't follow him to the locker room
hey! how come I just got Ivory Flakes?
*aloy has a foot fetish*
I second what Ruby said
or, wose, that he didn't follow you
lmao
thankfully ruby I didn't drop anything :D
Fine print: *Prizes may vary depending on chat subject matter*
aaaargh
FunnyJudi.....
ummm, more like watching the cabana boys ru
oh
(-: rippling muscles,etc
in our family if a male falls asleep during a gathering his toenails and/or fingernails will often get varnished with the brightest possible colour
I haven't found a single word in a long time
down to 50 and saving the rest for tonight. :-) see you-all later. *poof*
note to self...do not fall asleep at Ursh's...
bye, stid.. hagd!!
In my dream life, I have a pedicure massage chair and foot bath in my house and someone comes to the house twice a month to do my nails.
amen, molly
ahh, sounds wonderful
In a perfect world...
* I can't print my dream life here in the chat *
That's funny Ursh : D
ii am moving to molly's dream life
Ruru is being bad....again.
this was the hardest half, ever
no wonder he can't find words, he is off in his dream world..
right Aloy
bo4 to be wild
can you belive I tried eggo?
In desparation.
lol, leggo my eggo
had a lovely fathers day barbecue at a 4x4 venue out in the country - one puncture and one breakdown - had to call a tow truck to get him out but was good fun - i like being out in the sunshine in winter
Leggo my eggo, hego.
lol Judi
lolol
glad all is well, ursh
good night everybody
sweet dreams, ruby
It's my process. I just kepp typing in stuff until something takes.
Night, ruby!
keep
is it only fathers day here in SA ?
need to go and smell the flowers. There is a wonderful plant that smells like jasmine but doesn't look like it.
No, it's Father's Day here too.
No father's Day here also.
I don't know what it is
Nope here too, Ursh :-)
here,too
Father's day is today in the USA.
aaah OK - happy father's day to all the Dads then
It's funny because Mothers' Day is different in France from the US
That is what confuses me Ruby
And Father's Day is different in Australia too. September I think.
It's all part of Hallmark's evil plan for holiday domination of the world.
I agree Judi
lol
my system of typing in any old thing is working well in this grid.
In Britain, and I guess France, mothers are honoured on "mothering Sunday" which originates with the churches I believe. It is not so commercially dictated as our Mother's day in Canada and U.S.
Hi diane
hi hego :-)
it is a Christian celebration and always falls on the 4th Sunday in Lent, so changes from year to year.
oops. Had to take a brief time out for kitty tummy rub and happy love bites.
sounds sexy
*puts skype on Judi's computer *
Now the cat is done using me. She has left the room
I knew that would awake Ruru
must be a male cat.
Pervs. All of you.
Judi wouldn't say happy love bites if it were Mike Tyson
Mothers Day and Fathers Day were begun in the US in churches here in West Virginia. Mothers Day was begun by Anna Jarvis who wanted to honor her own mother - the church in GRafton is called the Mothers Day Shrine. Then the minister at the nearby church in Fairmont instituted the first Fathers Day
:D
Hi Teach
hello Hego
*imagines Judi rubbing Mike Tyson's tummy*
And just for the record, the cat was biting me - not the other way around.
Cool story Teach. So we're not just a bunch of Hallmark heathens after all.
phew, with a lot of help from morewords, fw! anyone need a clue before I have fun with the laundry today? whistle while I work..
Congrats Aloy!!
Enjoy your wash Aloy...
Just finished also, so not for me, Aloy..but thank you.
Hallmark might have taken it over now - but it began in churches and these two churches still make a big thing of the celebration. The Fathers Day church has a big banner that in the time around now says "First Fathers Day church"
and congrats to Zooz too!!
yay, zooz... congrats!

funny clue, Molls
bunny foo foo.. is she related to honey boo boo?
Well, my first thought was the Dan Seals song I Wanna *** With You Baby, but I have no clue how many people know that one
Thanks, Molly. Now the song's stuck in my head :)
well I like the color, not sure that I like it on my toes though
I can't stand Honey Boo Boo!
Here's the thing, people in other countries see that Honey Boo Boo show and think that is what Americans are like. : O
oh dear, that is not good, Molls
I have only seen ads for the show and that was enough for me
Is it any wonder they make fun of us all the time?
28 left, this is slow going even with lickety
Although to be fair, I have seen some rather strange British and Australian TV shows. But I don't think all people in those countries are like that.
bs
Peri really needs to go back to bbs. People are going to misinterpret bs.
that is their problem then
You're right Peri. I am understandably over sensitive to the Babble Complaint Division.
: D
the older I get, the feistier I get and I really don't care what people think. I used to when I was younger
listen I don't like what some people say here but I just ignore them for the moment.
I don't care what people think either. The wailing and moaning gets annoying sometimes though.
if they are nice to me for the most part that is
it does, Molls
and I like some people more than others but that is life
if I'm moaning.. i'm not playing babble :D
hmmm, not going there
Mayhap some of the complainers should do more of that kind of moaning : D
re6?
haha, Molls, indeed
bbl
that would make an interesting intercourse
whoops I meant discourse
i think you were right the 1st time, ruru
re6...re + what you hit with a hammer

he's cute joso
al8 et's birthday
ty mo and joso
what sort of word is that?
you should see him try to herd the cats
yw.
and now it is time for crossys tidbit of the day!! today we look at how unoriginal we as a species are and how that the more things change the more they indeed, stay the same:) http://tinyurl.com/n75rzjt
lol joso
he looks like such a softie
he is, very quiet too.
how old is he joso?
i'll have to google bovies
10, sleeps alot now
is that a good age for them joso?
so true crossy.i will look when i've finished here
large dogs live to 10-15 years, he's starting to gray
it's odd, with dogs the smaller they are, the longer they live, rest of the animal kingdom is opposite
i watched an animal programme in mexico and it was about different breeds of cats and dogs and what illnesses each breed was proned to and the age they would live until.it was very interesting
i know alot of bigger dogs seem to be more prone to artritis and hip problems
Hi everyone
hi bichon
he's a good guy, full of quirks. can do a vertical leap of 6-7 feet, barks once to be let out waits 5 mins then barks again slightly louder, bounces on his front legs when happy
Is he a Newfie joso?
no, a bovie
he sounds like a lovely dog joso
full breed name is 'Bouvier des Flandres'
Sorry, a Bouvier
Not a breed you see much in the US
ez error, they look a lot alike, but shadow hates water, gives me a dirty look if it raining when I open the back door, like I made it rain.
bit large for most people
My Bichons hate the rain too. Bothers their curls
not familier with bichhon, but they look cute

hi TO!
debating listing
actually should be out walking, have been a big lump all day
ha, no debate here, TO, I am thoroughly stumped by this grid
the first 70% went quickly. now need 23
ugh, I am missing too many words for listing to be much fun. Going to go take the dog for a walk. Maybe after that I will see some more words.
no, you are most likely missing too many NON words that enable has legitimized.
fo4/9.....they have to be kdding
fo +o**
Any herbaceous plant that is not grass. Say what?
i think they were smoking some
i have iven up on some re rods and would love clues
re7, re5, re6 in that order . :/
then i can go walk
re7...re + started
There are 2 re5's...re + last three of Canadian province that starts Que and re + what little bunny foo foo did to the heads of the field mice
of course. anyone would use that word, as opposed to rebag
re6...re + what you bang with a hammer
I think this grid won the contest of how much gibberish can you cram into one grid.
okkty, that i should have seen
re5/16 the 2nd pls?
for real.
but some cool words to see, as well.
I clued both re5's at 6:41
ooh, let me see...
it si the bunny that is the last one... i don't know bunny foo foo. whrer is scrabbler when i need her?
re + rock legend The Big ***per...died in a plane crash with Richie Valens and Buddy Holly
oh for goodness sakes... ty but that is a word???
Little bunny foo foo hopped through the forest, scooping up the field mice and ***ping them on the head
i think i need a long long walk after this mess. i need to try to walk my love handles off
what book is that? sounds very violent
It's a kids preschool song
i don;t think the nuns would allow that.
they were the only ones who could bop anyone :)
Probably written by the same kind of person who wrote: When the bough breaks the cradle will fall, and down will come baby, cradle and all
our icons are a pair today, aren't they
They work for me, TO
and i must walk. i don't want to but i must. i must. i will be gald that i did. won't i?
Yes you will.
except i am often the one who has to remember to shut up ;)
i found a fun one for tomorrow . do you ever visit the merriam webster site? i do the games there
they had a photo contest to illustrate the word of your choice. great stuff
No, I'll have to check it out.
i only do three of the puzzles, dictionary decil is my fav. so refresh. i see the caption did not save, so i shall have a guessing game for the word
: D
clue: verb, 11 letters, begins with f
I've already seen it at the site. Great picture.
isn't it? not the winner but very cute
there are grida that make me look like that
