I'm off on Staurday to a funeral in Victoria, staying overnight, racing back to a bridge Xmas party on Sunday, then off to tha maniland and travel to my son's (about 50 miles) for Xmas, grandson's b'day on Boxing Day, a quiet day, and home on the 28th. Phew! a

I know--I try giving her things to do just for that--but I got to tell her everything to do step by step--with winter its much more harder
like using your normal things as exercise. For instance, when you go sit in a chair, don't make it to fully sit, stretch back up, then sit down.

push yourself up from the armrests a couple of times. Push your hands together as hard as you can. When you are seated, lift your leg or legs a couple of times.
the idea is you don't have to do anything you don't normally do already... just build on them and make them in4 a tiny exercise.
I use to like jumping rope--dont know if I still can with out tripping my self--lol
it is really hard on you, pug. You have to spend a load of energy and you don't get the results you would wish for your sister. That is doubly hard.

Not a bad day--office Christmas lunch and then a quiet afternoon (just 5 kids) because of another snowstorm

We have had snow daily for the last 9 days and have gotten close to 50 inches of snow!
We've had over a foot of snow so far and temps around zero all month. Yesterday and today we actually got above freezing for the first time in weeks. (I feel your pain!)
Normally we don't get this type of weather until January
The snow is wonderful for XC-skiing and snowshoeing! But we will have 4 days above freezing, with rain, starting tomorrow.
The good news (for us) is that the snow is still soft and fluffy. Not good for going sliding with my grandson; and I'm glad we haven't had too much wind with this.

it is indeed. We just got his biopsy results today, 12 days after they were taken. He'll need to go on some kind of medication for the Crohn's.

When DH went to see his Neuro doc this time for his "regular" appointment (he needs to be seen every 3 months due to some of his meds); the doctor spent almost 1 1/2 hours with him (us, really. DH has a memory problem). That's when he diagnosed the MS relapse.

I guess I was upset because they didn't tell me she was running behind, I felt they had forgotten me!

It does seem low, pen, but my doctor likes our cholesterol levels around 100 these days
now if the HDH is around 80, that's terrific, same with the triglycerides. And the LDL shouldn't be that high; so I ruled that out (that's the bad cholesterol)
I'll have to ask if they call about the poor rating I gave them, (I told them in the survey I wanted to be contacted)
