january 9th is about 6 weeks post-op. seeing surgeon then. ruru, the people i am dealing with are 20-somethings. they have no idea what is entailed with this sort of surgery. i have already told them i am not allowed to start full on physio until 6 weeks post-op.

They did not supply lessons or anything. the class is way in the back of the school and only has a heater to heat the room. I, as a sub, went through a background check and am still not allowed to log onto the computer system. All they have been doing in the weeks before me was watching movies. Now I come in and start reading "The Road Not Taken" with them, and they think I am of the devil. I have been subbing these kids since they where in elementary school and I know how smart they are, and now I see them giving up because no one cares. It makes me sick.

I think so - but that is soooo many years ago - I would have been around 8 or 9
Most feral cats do not make good house pets.
Time and patience...it took about a year and a half, and another litter of kittens, to convince this one to live indoors.
she followed us on New Years Day, we use to skate on the creek almost down to Lake Ontario and we never saw her again
We caught her surviving kitten from the first litter when she was about 4 months old and she was easier to convince.
we had her as a tiny kitten
But you can still tell they were feral. Both are skittish and terrified of strangers. Mama cat will probably never be a cuddler, but the younger one is.
it was heart breaking to think of her possibly freezing - but hopefully someone along the way took her in
Both are calm and loving around us but hide if anyone else comes over.

my sister has had a young feral cat coming to eat every night. The other cats were frightened of her. last week she went missing and my sister was distraught. She searched under every tree and in any shelter all around where she lives. No joy. yesterday, the cat turned up, a lot thinner, and my sister believes she may have had kittens so now the search is on for the hiding place. nevertheless, jill is delighted that the cat is back.
The ones outside will not be rehabilitated.
They do keep the rodent population down it you do that.

Oh, yes. They often bring me mice, moles and squirels in return for their kibble.

We think our momma cat, the one in my icon, was once a pet and was dropped off here when she was pregnant with her first litter. She had them under our house and it was shortly after that when we saw her for the first time.
There were only 2 kittens in that litter, the dark one we have now and another that was mostly white with gray tabby markings. We think the hawk got that one.
Well, time for me to get out in the kitchen and rattle some pots and pans.

one year,i worked at my station until 3 pm x-mass eve and began my shopping after I closed.went to a town an hour away,did my shopping all at once, drove an hour back home, made it back in town at 7;45 pm, only to find that I forgot wrapping paper and tape.found the last corner store in town open with 5 minutes to spare,paid way too much bor birthday wrapping paper and tape.got home at 8:15 pm and started wrapping and putting everything together.no food,7 or 8 vodkas,finished it all at 4 am Christmas say and my son,who was 6 and the time comes down at 04:30 am

Got the xbox360..i like the feel of it..although i do noot use it much yet for babble as there is not a keypad for the new controllers....love the new kinect & voice control.

In Sept, I usually start stockpiling the usual domestic, non perishible stuff, shower gel, shampoo, detergent, loo rolls etc, leaving me with a few shillings spare for the Christmas 'goodies'. For the Christmas presents, I'm in a club in the local pub. About 80 of us throw €20 a week in, €15 of it is put into a savings account, & a fiver is gambled. This year, we turned a profit of 29%. Sweet!

I did have the playstation then the playstation2 then the playstation3, Crossy, but Sony decided not to go backward compatible...thats when i switched over to the xbox side.
Yet saying that the xbox one is not backward compatible either..although some xbox360 games will be downloadable via the cloud system.
