Flosey, I saw Philomena on Dec 27 and found it very powerful. I can see why rose was mad at the church. The acting was magnificent by everyone.

pug, the travelling was interesting and a bit hilarious. It was all n the daylight, but there's a new highway my GPS didn't know about and onto which I inadvertently went. So here was "Felicity" (the name I call the voice) completely at sea and recalculating all the time, with the map showing my car in a blank space. Fortunately I had my iPhone with Google Maps up to date, and a book of maps too which showed the projected highway and I was able to figure it all out.
I have now updated the GPS!

please remind me not to go ne4 the nasty old man in the study. he is trying to make a watchable dvd of MIL's funeral. the funeral directors gave us a dvd, made from security camera footage. it really is appalling. but this dvd is going overseas to scotland to MIL's family there. and as usual, don wants it to be perfect.

We don't get snow very often and that's a good thing because we aren't prepared to salt or sand the roads.....so when the first snow flake falls everything closes down. It blew my mind when I moved here from KY, I was used to going to work and school whatever the weather. LOL

UUSue, sometimes (not often) when I am folding, my cpu goes to 100%, and the only thing I can do it stop it temporarily. I have a quad-core processor, and loads of room. Does that happen to you?
since I got my new computer it's almost always near 100% although I told folding not to do that - the computer seems to run fine anyway so I haven't bothered with it.
It does get cranky when the RAM gets near 100% but that usually takes several days of uptime, and I just reboot it. I don't know if that has anything to do with folding anyway.
Mmm... You answered another question (thank you!) which was, do I have an option to tell them not to run that much. I will go into my options and do that. Normally it's no problem, and it just runs anytime I have the computer on.
you do have an option to limit it to a certain fraction of CPU but that doesn't seem to work for me any more
