phantom: sleuth
ch7/40 rings a bell, er7/36 might describe a regal cap (a tale to tell?). ly7s are two ugly words from an ugly past. re 7/8 might be a re-application of Kiwi? sh7 is more familiar with an en- in front, and te7 is found amongst ten chessmen.

Hi Liz, doing okay and you
Fine here thanks.
It was a really strange issue and I took a stab in the dark and working out a solution. Had to change my FTP from Active to Passive - and now it works ok. Must have something to do with a new Wifi Router I have here - interfering with traffic or something. Anyway - that's techno babble - don't worry, letme know if any other issues.
thanks again Lickety, much appreciated
must get to bed now, very tired
bb tomorrow
night Flosey, take care
Sleep well Flosey

Hello Mrs Rose
hello dear friend
did the day wipe you out Rose
not too bad, pugs. i nearly wiped out the physio. she hurt when she massaged the muscle in my thigh.
whys that
how are you? how's the pain?
pugs, it's the muscle which was cut during surgery. and of course i have to use it in order to walk and do exercises. so it is going to be sore and stiff.
not too much pain but I just feel wiped out---Iam trying to make myself feel better than I do--lol
I understand that
you poor love.....
I spent three hours yesterday filling out this and that form for insurance and I got to call today to finish up
good girl...is this medical insurance?
yes, through the goverment
they ask some of the dumbest questions
yay....about time....
yeah...like....what was your grandmother's hat size?
just about--lol
I spent over an hour answering so many and their server went down and had to start all over
ugghhh, don't you hate that?? and of course nothing was saved, and you had to redo, right?
the rain is here....i love the smell of newly wet garden...
of course not--lol
oh I do too. Ive always liked the rain---I enjoy walking in it
dinner is being dished up. will definitely come back later, hun. don going out so we will be totally uninterrupted...lol
Nice! enjoy
back!! tummy full of yummy food. * sigh *
welcome back :)
Don, having a night out with the guys?
with the guys from church. our new deacon is going to speak.
that sounds nice
don has been asked to be on the small group of people to help with the deacons journey.
is your new deacon young
what journey is that
no, he's older than me...he was a late starter...lol
his journey with the Lord.
do you have a deacon for the youth and then one for the older people
don will be counseling him, helping him to do what is right.
oh--that special
not really, pugs. our youth are generally led by lay people.
don is very knowledgeable about the canons (laws ) of our church. he can help this new minister to understand whatis expected of him within the church.
sounds good for the deacon to feel he fits in then
did your old deacon retire or did he move away
lol, yes...last sunday it was announced that there was a picture of his newly ordained group in our church newspaper. i jokingly called out that instead of finding 'where's wally' it would be 'where's lachy'. he cracked up laughing.
sadly he died last october, pugs, after a long battle with cancer.
ahh, thats too bad. Why so long in getting a new one
hmmm, our vestry and wardens have to be careful as to who they select. the deacon has to empathise with his congregation.
sounds about like our goverment system here--lol
they interviewed quite a few ministers....asking questions about family, values, etc. ther would be no point in appointing a youngish man, say in his 20's, and ask him to spitiually guide people in their 60's, 70's.
it was in the 60's yesterday and to be so today too and then the temps are going to drop and snow/rain tomorrow
you dont have very many young people there in your church
good grief!! it's a wonder you all aren't dropping with pneumonia or flu!!
it was nice enough that I did open the windows for a bit to air out the house
not in this church, pugs. the area is mainly occupied by retirees. further up the hill, younger families and kids, further in towards town, younger families and kids. this particular area older people.
That makes more sense
the area is reasonably flat, and we have a good hospital just around the corner, the train and bus station is at the end of the street, doctors and chemist, and supermarket, newsagent and very good butcher all within 5-10 minutes of home.
Iam thinking, OO posted about the meaning of the phrase "good grief" and how it came to be--it was very interesting
do you take the train very much---I think thats so cool
not at the moment, pugs. i need to be safe, and be assured that i would get a seat. couldn't stand for too long.
growing up, the train ran right behind our house. Coming through town is slowed and we would hop on it to ride it across the trussel before it picked up speed again
nice, pugs. so daring of you!!
Its a wonder we didnt get ran over--lol
when i lived a bit further out, ( before i married don ) we had a vintage steam train pass almost by our back-door. if you google puffing billy, the dandenongs....you will see it.
when I was training in the nursing home, I took care of an older gentleman that was a hobo and thats how he traveled. He had some good stories
okay
i bet he did...lol
He was such a nice man.....I love listening to older people tell stories of their lives
yeah....they have such a wealth to share....and then suddenly, YOU are one of the oldies, telling stories to the kids and young folk. * sigh *
so true--lol
when you google search puffing billy, try the second site listed. it is the web site for the actual puffing billy society.
alright, will I see you there too? lol
they have vidoes too
cheeky possum!!!
okay
they done away with most of the trains here--which I think is sad
the one that use to run behind my old home is completly gone now---the tracks and all
strange! trains are so much a part of our infrastructure. use of public transport is highly encouraged.
I wish that were so here
I dont even know where the closest passenger train is here--maybe in the capital
here in melbourne, they are currently putting all trains underground where they once ran across a road. it is reducing so many level-crossing accidents.
like subways?
plus trains and commuting cars all run smoother. no pugs, just under the road they once ran across. then back up into the open air. that would be about 300-400 feet.
oh
we do have a subway in town centre, then the trains, as they emerge from the loop, are in the open air again.
does it cost much to travel by train or the subway
Sprite has train travel too there where she lives
compared to driving your car in, plus the cost of parking? no, it is a fraction of the cost.
is that how you get to work
we also have overland trains which run between our big cities, and quite a few which go into the country-side and back.
these are all passenger trains
unfortunately no, pugs. there is no public transport which links my home to my work. plus i am not too keen on travelling after 9pm on public transport. even with don. if there was a large group of us together, yes.
yeah, that wouldnt be too safe....it was spooky when I went to the ER. Their parking lot is not light up too great.
i have a small car, it runs on ethanol-based fuel, and uses very little at that.
i'm glad you went, even so, pugs. i can't begin to tell you how scared i was for you, hun.
well the shot did help me
sorry, back. phone call...DIL number 2 organising DIL number 3's birthday celebration.
oh, that will be nice--you all taking her out
phantom: contumacious ... perhaps
good morning OO and who is that?
I could be that at times--lol
OO, do you have passenger trains out there where you live
hey ya o-o. you doing goodly today?
He just drops us a big old word and then just leaves us--lol
No and no.
* climbs out from under o-o's word * gee, thanx buddy...lol
oh, o-o. sorry to hear that, mate. anything we can do to help?
good morning all
Yes, make your health and well-being a top priority.
Hugs OO--Iam really sorry about that for you
g'day spritey, and cooee
a special *hug* for you, o-o... may there be rays of sunshine that touch you today and make things a little more bearable.
good morning Dear Sprite
Just practicing my whining.
thanx o-o. ditto what sprite said. i am so sorry you are having a lousy day. * gentle smiles at o-o *
I would give up some of my health if I could OO for you to feel better
you never whine, o-o. You are a hero in my eyes.
I think it might be good for you to whine(if thats what you want to call it)
and pug, so happy to see you in babble, hope your back is recovering and you are taking things extremely easy
and you, rose, are you feeling better?
How is our Sprite today
I am fine, thanks pug :)
I feel wiped out but other than that I am better
hmz glad your back feels less painful. But feeling wiped out means you really need to rest and take things very very easy, hun... I hope you are doing just that.
No pugs, my well-being is my responsibility. The best thing you can do is love and forgive yourself ... you are a good person ... remind and reward yourself for that.
A-freaking-men to that, o-o
absolutely o-o.
thank you OO, but I worry very much about you, you are a friend OO, and if you need to reach out or gripe or cry Iam here for you as I know these others are too
unconditionally, yes
sprite, doing better than okay, hun. now actually raising my heart rate on the bike. and doing 5 minutes twice/day. also have dropped another of the pain meds. so now on 2 first thing, and then one at 2pm, then nothing of the strong meds until the next day.
oh wow rose, you are going so strong! So proud of you, hun. That was (and is) a helluva battle. Superrose!
lolol...thanx hun. it was last wednesday...i turned the corner, and there i was....no crutches, walking around the house aid-free. physio very pleased with how i am walking. not hitching that hip any more, either.
awesome, rose. Am so glad you have been loyal to your body's demands and stood your ground against well-intentioned but way too early pressure to build down the pain meds.
o-o, please understand, this circle of babblers are non-judgemental. we support and care for each other, either here in chog, or elsewhere.
I think OO needs some love and caring friends in his life to help over the rough times just as we all do
well I am here, for all three of you, whenever you need a listening ear and an open heart.
hello darlings
hey pink :)
oh and by the way, yesterday I got a wonderful littke book in the mail (love letters from God) do either of you know anything about that? there was no names from the sender

Sprite, I was telling Rose, it was 60 yesterday and to be that again today and then tomorrow 1-3 inches of snow, then rain and drop in temps

they make the most amazing possum fur sox in new zealand. the colours are brilliant. and i mean...BRILLIANT!!!
I have never even heard of them before now
i brought back possum sox for friends of mine. the sox were bright pink and purple.
lol, all the more easy to play possum with
I bet they are real soft arnt they
lolol, oh yes, sprite. and you need to play possum because????
yes pugs, so soft, like the down on a chick
brb, canary nagging me to cover his cage. *sigh* i am being ordered about by a canary, for gosh sakes!!!

LOL Rose
where is a don when you need him? it's his job, for goodness sake!!! oh, that's right...i sent him out for the night...oops.
does your bird have a set bedtime
yeah, when he says it is....try and do it before, and you have seen such an indignant looking bird...
try and do it after and he gives you hell...
lol---my dogs know when its their suppertime---they start starring at ya
he cracks us up. sometimes in the morning it is a mite chilly. and when you take his cover off, he goes from sleek, to puff ball in about 1 second.
and when you try to cover him to early, he does this 'owl' act. fair dinkum, he rotates his head almost 360 degrees, all the time staring at you.
well you probably wouldnt like it if someone jerked your blanket off either--ll
terra is often hungry before his dinner time and he starts staring too, and then we say no, too early, and automatically look at the clock on the wall... and when he sees that he gives a huge sigh, lol
lol, the exorcist canary
LOLOL, oh my...i didn't read the word blanket the first time. my eyes nearly popped out of my head.
omg rose, you are SO bad, lol
lol-Sprite---dont you just love it when they give you the guilt trip with their eyes

did we lose Ruby
maybe ruby is typing a longer post
A metamorphosis ... what is the stimulant that turns it back into a dog?
n, you could never loswe Ruby
opening the door, I think, o-o. Once outside they turn into dogs again, sniffling and peeing and wagging tails.
I'm bak from a taxing walk with Raffie. She is definitely a pug, decides where she wants to go. But I am training her, in these 3 ks, she is becoming much better
very nice, ruby
lol--OO----it takes some time for her to calm back down to a lady like dog
I'm sory about the typing my eyes are dim
I am soooo tired
sounds like time for a long nap, ruby
np Ruby, I understood it---and thats real progress
long nap It is only 11AM, not a chne
I am rapidly losing my typig skills, sorry, friends

good morning all
good morning all - right column grayed - whoohooo
Good morning friends. Stealth babbling from the back if chorus class.
And i need to vent- this is probably completely non PC to say, but the student i am the one on one aide for is driving me mental today. She is being an awful snarky little teenage PUKE?
I wish she could tell me whats making her so unrelentingly pissy. I feel helpless
O-0 don't understand the Gruffalo reference!
good morning everyone:). ((trif)) I am sorry you are immersed in teenage drama and angst today. They grow out of it...eventually.... around 35...
I dont know how you Para's do it - one of my close friends works one on one with troubled kids.......she is very upfront with them and does not let them get away with it.
they will test every limit to see what they can get away with, that is for sure
need tea - brb
This one wont, crossy, which makes it all the harder. She will sort of forever be between three and five, intellectually.
:((
And i TRY to be my best self, but she is pushing it hard today
this is run of the mill high school kids you are aiding?
No, a 13 year old girl with downs. I promise, most of the time she is lovely and we do very well. Butthe past two days- whoooooo boy
ahh ok. got it
yes, it can be very difficult
you are a very strong teacher to be doing that area of teaching.
she doesnt have enough verbal skills to tell me whats up. Its a wicked bummer
downs kids are usually very sweet - maybe she is not feeling well?
Thanks crissy. Not feeling very effective this week
I suspect so river
she is also at the age where female issues/hormones may affect her behavior
sorry, CROSSY? tough typing on a nook
it is ok, remember, I invented crossy speak
all experienced babbler should be able to translate and not point out the obvious. I see my own so much I just do it in my head and move on:)
Gotta run.... thanks for listening
tc trif
have a better day trif
I give her cudos for what she does - it is not an easy task.
13 year old girls.. lol.. us guys just move out of the house till the wife gives us the all clear or the kid graduates and moves out herself
lol crossy
my baby turned 21 this weekend......dont miss that 13 year age
our " baby" is a couch surfing slug of 20
she can be too when home like this week on school break. My other baby is 17. He is the active one.
do not know if any one else had this issue but I had to type the le4 for the top row a full FIVE times before it took!
no problems today for me
mm, I am losing my mind then.. we at least it does not hurt:)
I have 18 to go and stuck
I need to get back to English classes, that is my problem. This march break seems to go on and on
missing the pressure:)
how much time do you have off? My daughter only has this week.
we had last Friday off as well so a full 8 days
she did too only because she does not have classes on fridays. Her schedule is sweet this semester.
fireworks at last :)
glad to hear you are loving school
congrats Anita
ty. must go bye all
the march break came at a bad time. these classes are in 6 or 7 week chunks on the same course , then we move on. We had done 5 weeks, then this march break, then back to 4 days, then the final exam
it is amazing, river
back for*
thats crazy....
though I love doing the classes in chunks like this. Not like the old days where you had 6 or 8 classes of 35-40 minutes each
I love the look I get from the kids (18-25 year olds) in class as the old men and women ( 10 mature students such as myself out of a class of 25 people) continually bust the grading curve:)
thats because you REALLY want to be there
I am going into this exam with a 95%. Yes you are right in that
thats great - proud of you
:) you will be invited to the party in June:) (bring vodka)
absolute, gray goose.....what is your preference?
ugh... Ketle 1 please
or Smirnoff blue label
haven't tried that one yet
gray goose, your just paying for the name and the fancy bottle. Stick with crossy we can tour the GOOD vodkas
Good morning, all. Vodka for breakfast today I see.
but of course judi.. how do you think i flambé my eggs?
lol. Didn't know you could flambe eggs!
vodka is like bacon, it goes with anything
Haven't had brekkie yet. Needed a cuppa joe and some Babble to get me going first.
mm ,maybe you are right, i best have a tea before i haul out the medicine
Taking a spring fever day off today. Supposed to be sunny and 64 degrees. So far, not so sunny... but warming up!
sun is starting to break through the fog here....calling for 50 degrees today and a foot of snow tomorrow into Thursday. Typical new england weather.
Uhg! No snow in our forecast, thank goodness.
bright sun here and plus 6c ! nice:)
I have the re8. What are the other two 8s?

Sm8, y'all. Hi, Molls!
Sorry, that is the other 8, not from the middle S though
Oh ignore me, it is from the middle S, duh
it must be the middle S because that is where the M is
looking now
I see we have the Soviet counterintelligence agency featured in Ian Fleming's early James Bond novels in the grid today.......who knows that one?

ty jeff

babbling while on the clock is a particular joy of mine;)
lol cross
crossy - did you find the small white canadian animal?
vi5/16pls?
well, this is scary.. I am actually remembering some of the weirdo words from the past!
wow. I had no idea that microwave popcorn was so bad for you "Up until about five years ago, I had never even heard of perfluorooctanoic acid, or PFOA. It’s the chemical used to line the bags of microwave popcorn so that they don’t catch on fire. And while I’m a big fan of keeping flaming microwaves at bay, I’m alarmed by the fact that PFOA has been linked to cancer, postponed puberty, thyroid disease and high cholesterol in kids. Not to mention the chemicals that are used to get that “imitation butter†flavor so often found on microwave popcorn. Yuck. Steer clear of the microwave version and pop your own"
no, i have not,river
vi + make your ***servations now or you wont get a table
ty river
y river
oh rats, crossy.. sigh, enjoy m-wave popcorn
i have been making my own for years anyways

vi 4/9 uses the sometimes vowel
h'mm, ok.. saw it in the paper, will try to find it
wow, thanks crossy - I seldom eat it unless visiting grandson in TO - will warn them
small canadian white weasel in the winter is er 6/21

indeed, flosey. think the kids are most at risk, but do your own research, it is defineatly a sometimes treat only
ahh yes, i found that one earlier, ty
we don't use microwave (got rid of it after hubby had cancer second time)
I miss it though
ER 6 clue please?
Lawd have me5.18, I finally found it
I seldom use my microwave - only to heat up water for my tea
thanks Aloy, great clue
i have had cancer three times. Do not think it is so much my microwave as my 30 years spent in the petroleum industry that is my trigger
the er6 is the small white animal found mostly in canada
that and my ancestry
wow cross are you cancer free now?
you rolls the dice and take yer chances
yes, i am MLF :)
wonders of modern medicine and a universal health care plan:))
ongrats:)
ah, no history of it for hubby
We have them in Britain as well River, they're called stoats in summer
hi movieman, didn't know that
and they breed like crazy, hence the old term "jiggle like a stoat" lol
hi movieman
who really knows what triggers it....my Mom had cancer many years ago....cancer free now. She worked in an office, lived a healthy life style, never smoked....
so true River, have heard that many times
it is hard to say riverdance. it comes out of the blue, on some unsuspecting, sunny Tuesday afternoon and the doctor hits you over the head with a cancer verdict after a routine check up
usually it all boils down to how early you stuble across the first cancer while getting seen for something else
stumble
for example, if i had waited 6 more months before being seen, my first cancer would of killed me
so, needless to say, i do not give a flying fart that bacon is bad for me:))
though i am down to once a week
well folks, fw.. so.. out to work, can't put it off.. but the manual labor will be good and keep me out of trouble for a bit.. see you next time all, tc..

o-o the word I mentioned had no definition to be found. I do realise that all words were originally made-up,
howdy jaxx:)
Jaxx, where do you live?
In a small seaside town in Devon, England called Teignmouth (pronounced Tinmuth)
i have heard of that town. funny world it is. Must of been in a book i read recently
Oh. You Brits with the extra consonants.
I know. was in book called Raise the Titanic, by Clive Cussler. a good rip roaring read
We had them first! You Americans made things easier.
this is true. jaxx has you there
they also leave out all the letter u's jaxx;)
Some of the phrases you use like gotten are actually purer than ours, more related to the original old English.
but they are handy when you need to borrow some military equipment, the subs we bought off you we rather leaky lol
I wouldn't know about that. What does annoy me is the deletion of ph in, for eg Sulphuric, for an f. lazy!
lol the u missing in colour drive me batty especially on the word office programme, keeps coming up as an error
English is a very eccentric language and hard to learn to speak and write.
it is full of mysteries
You can put your your PC on British English and then it won't be an error :)
even in word? because it has its own spell check
there are so many settings i have yet to even touch on in that programme
Its all down to being conquered regularly and having an empire - we adopted the other languages where the word was better than an existing one eg Bungalow from India where there was no such word back in the day.
listed at 30 and i thought so. last few are all what i like to call un-words
In Word, click on Tools, then Language then Set Language. It even has "Canadian English"
cool
There you are problem solved, thanks Molly and Hi
Crossy, I like Clive Cussler's books but have not heard of that one.
You might have heard of Teignmouth in connection with Donald Crowhurst who faked his round the world trip and left from here.
Am I talking to myself? I do that regularly with my husband.
he has many good novels; but they are full of brio and not to everyones taste. i have many of them in ebook format. If you have an e-reader and would like some, just e-mail me
I am old fashioned when it comes to e-readers and don't have one. I prefer real books. I also don't have a mobile phone
nothing wrong with that. a few good titles are the raise the titanic, sahara, vixen 03, his early one the medeterranian caper.. so many.,..
just google his name and bring up the wilipedia on him and it will list all hsi works
hello crossy and all
howdy,westford
crossy I have a question if you don't mind
go ahead
I have been very stern with myself today and sorted out those books I won't read again. It hurts me to give them away but it must br done before the bookcase collapses. Thanks anyway, crossy
:) a prblem shared by many of us, jaxx
i have 400 books on my e-reader , however:))
my husband has been having so much trouble with his neck and shoulder can't lie down in bed has to sleep in his recliner finally went to the doc yesterday and got some pain pills and an mri I remember you had some problems with that and wondered what they did or are doing for you
sorry to butt in
I understand that it would ease the storage problem but I just like the feel and smell of a book.
no problem. they need to make sure he has not got a pinched nerve first. ask for a cat scan
and in keeping with the subject line I love The Story of English
he may have herniated disks like mine and not know it
or a simple pinched nerve
my neck is now also full of arthritis
In the meantime you could try rubbing in olbas oil. It is not just good for relieving congested noses.
a neck massage wil help him greatly
Okay that's what I'll tell him..He has had an on going problem with his C4 and C5 disc from an ejection years ago
has had surgery and has calcium build up but he says the pain is different
Was it a steroid injection?
my neck is a combination of three herniated disks, arthritis and a narrowing of some of the openings that the nerves pass through
no an ejection from his airplane
yes, a cat scan is your next step to see exactly what is going on in there
yes, the compression g-forces from an ejection seat can do damage very easily
I was thinking arthritis too and I know he has narrow openings
this has been very helpful thanks crossy
Compaction is the problem then. Try an osteopath or chiropracter for that massage. They can work wonders.
if he is in the service make sure all medical treatment is doccumented, you may get recompense later
thanks jaxx I know he wants to avoid more surgery
crossy he's a retired fighter pilot
but get the scan before you let a bone cracker touch him!!
they will do more damage then good if things are badly eroded or out of place imho
would you recommend heat or ice ?
i figured he was. lol. did not think he had his own personal jet in the garage:))
heat and ice in roataion
rotation
start with a bit of heat
they let him keep his ejection seat but he gave it away..I thought it would make a great commode
but get that massage in
thank you both so much he's really in a lot of pain
just ten minutes with some esential oils and it really, really helps
West, he's still eligible for medical treatment at armed services hospitals, correct?
or just baby oil
but i am guessing some disk issues at the very least:(
I had policeman's heel and conventional medicine was useless. I went to an osteopath who put it right. Plantar Fasciitis is the medical name. it could be the discs between four and five have been herniated.
yes he is Molly right now he's just seeing a regular doc
i would run any alternative medicine pass your doctor first
Almond oil which is used as a base for aromatherapy oils is very good as well.
babble is the best thank you all for your input
np at all, westford. a scan will give you tons of information then you both can decide on what type of treatment
There are very few ailments that we Babblers haven't had or know someone who has.
Just to clarify for people in other countries, retired US Military personnel are eligible for free medical care at US armed services hospitals. And they also cannot sue the US Government for anything.
but it can be agony indeed;(
so they can get treatment but never sue?
well, take the treatment anyways. you guys pay through the nose for that stuff
As far as I know.
well, we do too, just at tax time:)
he's really nervous about further surgery
tax time arghh
it is a tough decision. i am meeting with a neurosurgeon this spring and we have to decide the lesser of the two evils
There are so many back injuries as a result of military service.
yes it is
I don't pay tax now I am retired. My pension isn't very big.
i had a friend of mine who waited with the same three buggered up disks untill he could hardly walk, but after the surgery he was in a walker for the rest of his life:(
he's still working full time as an engineer
i, however, am still mobile and can live with it, for now
oh crossy, not good
do his arms go numb, westford?
somewhat
or does he feel a pulling sensation?
just don't let it go on for too long or operations become much more complicated. My brother-in-law found that out with his cataracts.
this seems to be a new thing that just came on suddenly he thinks he did it while exercising
cataracts are another thing. they get overripe
he's never mentioned a pulling sensation
i blew my 3 disks out while exercising...
Exactly but discs ossify
they do indeed
problem is the risks
I don't think I'll ever get out of bed lol
hence touching base with the neurosurgeon
Cheerful aren't we? Life is one big risk and I don't worry or I'd never get out of bed.
this doctor has no problem referring to others
he may also be full of arthritis in his neck, westford. that is what send me back to the doc 4 months ago. it was so bad, i could hardly hold my head up
my luck the ceiling would fall in on me
stay in bed too long and you will become a big bedsore lol
lol
jaxx, with my history, nothing bother me overmuch anymore. have 3/4 done my bucket list even
I had 3 things and have done 2
rode in bi-plane, did a parachute jump, rode in hot air ballon, bungee jumped.. still need the submarine ride however
give birth go to Ireland and learn to play the banjo
My husband has DISH - soft tissue hardening - and the nerve tunnels are slowly filling in with extra bone instead of cartilage. he suffers with extreme pain and numbness from the nerves trapped by the new bone.
West, you could have given birth in Ireland while playing the banjo. You would probably be famous : D
your list sounds much more exciting crossy
pass the hat Molly you can keep half
I have a feeling that is what is happening to my husband jaxx
ouch jaxx! my neck gave a might twinge at that!
It started off like arthritis in his shoulders and has just got worse. He is supposed to end up in a wheelchair but sheer determination has kept him moving and, although he has a stick,he is still getting around under his own steam.
good lord..
relayed pain, Crossy
there's a lot to be said for determination jaxx hats off to him
i have just one narrowing, so far other 2 are out of plumb and full of arthritis the doc says
there but for the grace of god/allah/the holy rooster go i..:(
Amen
listed at 30, down to 14 and have yet to hit on a word used in everyday conversation so i feel good about it all:)
I think he is fantastic. He has developed the hardening one side of the spinal column more than the other. In theory, he should have started twisting like a corkscrew as well. Luckily that does not seem to be happening, thank goodness. he has problems getting his shoes and socks off and on but what are wives for?
can they do nothing for him?
No.
:(
There is a lot to be said for the power of determination.
Some doctor marched in, stuck needles attached to a machine in his legs. Announced he had given him electro acupuncture and walked out leaving him bleeding. helpful - not
yikes !
just made the mistake of going to a medical site and reading up on D.I.S.H :(
though it varies widely from person to person
Poor man had nothing to wipe away the blood and didn't know if Dr Welby was coming back or not. The nurse did not know either and also did not have tissue handy. That is the NHS for you.
found a real word!! he4
It is fairly rare but at the time Nigel was diagnosed his GP had seen three others with it from the area.
how old is he?
Well done. I am giving up now. I have depressed myself with all this medical chat. I am going to make myself a hot drink and go to bed. Bye all!
69
tc jaxx
If I move to England I want Doc Martin to take care of me
Hey, Molly - one for you to giggle at.
good night jaxx thanks for your input
sorry, we depressed you, i just plow my way through crap like this; i must learn to be more sensitive, but i am a Taurus:)
You didn't really. Don't worry. i will be back tomorrow.
when the doc caught my firs cancer and told me he wanted to operate i said" got your swiss army knife with you, let's dig it out now"
