He was trying to shoot off a ray gun that he got at the circus(it had flashing lights and was pretty wild); mouth jabbering a mile a minute; and then also dancing/bouncing around the room doing poses (I think he was copying some of the circus performers bows)
Thanks lickety!

howdy, all!
Hi justa
Hi freep
not the most exciting grid to come back to after months away. Maybe that's a good thing.
hi, pug and liz
I'd like to say an easy reentry - but it's not!
brb
wonder where our Rose is?
Probably having a nice Saturday afternoon out somewhere - that's just stating the obvious!
I hope thats it
Was it today she was getting together with one of her sons?
Iam not sure Liz
Me neither!
But as it's now 5pm, Saturday afternoon where Rose lives, I guess it's likely she's been out for the day or afternoon.
btw pugs - sorry I haven't returned that e mail - but I hate chain letters and that's just a type of chain letter.
np--rose sent it to me---I dont know that many people so I fell short--lol
OK - didn't want you to think I was ignoring you!
Iam not crazy about them either
I used to hate the handwritten ones. from when I was a kid, too.
that didnt even enter my mind
Good - told you that you are a nice person!
Good - told you that you are a nice person!
I was never into stuff like that
Good - told you that you are a nice person!
have to agree about chain emails - especially the religious ones that say you wont get blessings if you dont forward to 10 people at least
server is acting up:(
I agree Ursh - those ones really upset some people.
Hey! Server acting up but you got my complement 3 times! :)
I never ever knew enough people to send them to so I just never got into them
Nowadays I think that they just clog up the internet!
and plus I dont believe in that stuff either
Hi all -- been lurking and *!* ta da *!* - see you tomorrow :)
Congrats, Nan
Sleep well.
Hi nan
OK - taking a break. 12 left. Will either finish later or tomorrow. Give hugs to Rose and sprite, if you see them, Pugs. Hugs to you too.

np
(ruby)
{{bo}}
are you up very early or very late?
5:40 am
we don't start DST until tonight which I think is very stupid
it is 6:40 am - day off and up early! bah, humbug
you'd think Europe and the US could at least agree on something
DST - what a deal! right?
we could start naming stupid laws.....
not enough time in the day...
the folks in d,c, have to have things to keep 'em busy so they can justify their existence and worth...
What do you do in DC, my son lives in DC on and off
on the news last night, there was an ultimate stupidity. The Italians, who have more than 60,000(!!!) "official" cars for the government, all of them German and luxury, have decided to sell 150 of them on e-bay to save money.
lol
not in DC Marc - S.C.
it's the kind of news that makes you want to climb into a cave
oh
uh oh, off to lunch
nice to see you, gents

Good day!
hi, scrabbs
hello, friends!
And Owl is he4!
in da house!
hi, owl
hi scrabs, hi welk.
a side effect of listening to those cds is having to listen to the folks they remind me of :)
What CDs, welki?
sorry, should have been clearer. owl gifted me with about 20 cds of various artists - i've been going through each one, but they sometimes remind me of someone else
Music triggers memories, for sure.

Yes, I have heard of that.
oh i wanna read that never heard of them
it is a interesting read

Oh bummer jes..that is so hard
LOL, you do have my sympathy ruru, I remember driving in the rain in CA...
Oh Jes, so sorry to hear that...I am glad your brother has you, but what an awful thing that is to go through...
it's time, or past time, old girl can barely walk anymore. but still probably not what I'd have picked for a weekend activity
Rain....merely a memory here....sigh.
sorry to hear, jes
JIlly...is nice to me..The couch potato is not
I'm going saddle shopping on the way there though, so that'll be more fun.
Haven't been on a horse in 38 years...
haven't been on a horse since last weekend :) (when my cinch broke while I was riding, hence saddle shopping today!)
I thought that is how people got around in Montana jilly..
Only to meet the stagecoach these days ;)
Seriously, horses are expensive....
fw and thanks everyone for clues - last word tu4/8

ty you
I had to help load a big pig into a truck in Mexico once.. oh my god the screaming

Gross, they are making kimchi on my cooking show.
CO 7 clue please?
hey! i finally found a word that uses the x
that's the trouble. we didn't have potato chips :D
I don't think I like the smell of Kimchee
mlf...add adjective ending to the 6 before it
darn it anyway then ru! it's hopeless.
uru the smell of kimchee is nasty
brb gotta put the cat out.
Well, what do you expect from rotten cabbage?
using potato chips jes?
fermented
I don't like kim anything ..kim the tyrant in North Korea, lil kim the rap star, and kimchee
potato chips to lead the pig into the trailer, so you don't have to push it.
<-----!!FW!!
yay jilly!
*Admits to "Lose It" by Lil Kim being a favorite*
this was a BIG PIG jes.. I don't think Chips would have made that much a difference
jilly i am lost
then use dip ruru
HA HA HA
Oh, I take that back. Lose It is by Little Jackie.
good one MLF
and the smell that kimchi leaves on clothes and breath eww
*shocked look* MOLLY?
I get my Lil's confused
hehe ruru:)
co7 = something sticky, builds off co6 which means to stick to.
Like here...Lil Bit...Lil Monkey...Lilianne...so many Lil's
maybe i need the other co6 i have 24 and 30
whch on my lis is one on top of the other
co7 is from co24
then there are a couple of 4 letter words between them
(between the co7 and the co6/30, not between the co6/24 and the co7
i hathe elbow plate
have the
co6/24
oh, sorry, no... there's a co6/24 way before that, which means to stick together.
more commonly an ad6 word
got them!
that ad6 part helped ty jes
Yay mlf
*wonders if molly follows lil abner*

YAY!!!
ok only 4 left to finally finish completely my first puzzle need help with to 4/7 - te5/16 - re 5/10 & he 6/21
hi Nicky, I'll look.
to 4,7 sounds like a haylo**.
forget the he 6/21
te 5,16 is spelled similar to the sense of to***.
the he 6 words start withthe same four letters as the one before. he 4,4
do not have he 6,21.
it is now time for Crossy's shout out of the day!! Today I would like to congratulate Gmail as it celebrates its tenth birthday today.! :)
re 5,10 refers to things from a previous time.
Hopes that helps.

Oh these modern kids.

Wow!!

Cat's in the cradle, etc..
Must go..Bye......
cannot stand that song. tell my kid to suck it up buttercup.get out there and carve your name across the heavens. do not worry because I sent you a crappy present via fed ex for your 9th birthday cause I was on a trip for work.
the past is carved in stone and dead. Do not miss your now by wallowing in what cannot be undone.
I show my son: "see, kiddo, some kid your age just figured out how to save the U.S. government $150 million in printer ink just by changing the font style they use in their paperwork. What have you done today, kiddo?" lol

for being dead, V.C Andrews pumps out more books thatn anyone I know;))
yup. gets tiring seeing nothing but v.c Andrews, Danielle steel, harlequin romances and zane greys
i liked two of her series
the flowers in the attic books and the one about this kidnapped girl who finds out her rapist is her brother and her uncle is her father lol
my beloved reads danielle steel. i get a charge over how the author goes out of her way to totally destroy all males in her books both physically and mentally. used to make me wonder at this ongoing pattern, until i looked her up in wiki and looked at her track record. lol
i got a beautiful hardcover gone with the wind. when we started weeding thru ours...and roots..
new book power play, danielle steel.. out now crossy lol
this one book I got today People magazine called it an adult version of harry potter meets twilight. kind of excited to start it

funny i was just about to have a shot
By the end of your vacation, you will be reading "The Philosophical Works Of Homer Simpson"
My teacher would know how to take that work and turn it into a grinding, tedious mound of work that gives you nightmares and gets you up at 4 am to work on it
I swear, she could take green eggs and ham and turn the thing into a 5000 word essay:(
I was just reading that that book was in the George W Bush Library
nothing else.. just copies of that book
lol
what? no oh the places you'll go?
I've heard they have started construction on the Obama Library. It will be nothing but all the issues of Golf Magazine. : P

Sacrifices. Sacred cow...

Puts on Tom Waits.."the pianos been drinkin'"...

the only time Iget to see my fried is when I sneak down after the dogs are given their treats and dh is sleeping
Yeah, we are all frieds here : D
it sure sounds like it. I;m not even drinking, but have trouble typing so late at night
Did soodle leave\?
Ruby why do you have to sneak around your veryown house?
I don't want to wake husband up
As if your tiny footfall would wake him. *Soodle has the internet attention span of a flea with ADD*
Did I tell you tat I fell asleep on the dog and now will probably ned flea and tick meds
Time for regular bathing and flea and tick dips for the dogs. Ugh.
forex the name of a brand of something I don't really know about\/
that's if you can catch the. It's still a little bit too cold to bathe them outide and they are mucy too big to bathe in the house
Aaarrgh. I'm back. (((Ruby)))
{{soodle}} what happened?
Too big to bathe them in the bathtub? Exactly how big are these dogs?
And (((Molly)))
they'd fit in my tub but who could hoist the in? Ruffino weighs close to 80 and Rafaella is catching up fast.
but walking her these 6 weeks has done me a lot of good. I am actually gaining muscle
Oh, wow. An uncle of mine died last Friday week. We buried him on Wednesday. Then another uncle of mine died this Friday gone. I'm a bit weary.
Oh I bet they would climb right in the tub if you put something interesting in there.
when we lived on Fisher \island there was a grooming service that picked up our dogs Rosie and Rufus and took them to their saslon. And, believe it or not it cost less thasn here
*Raises the parting glass*
I suppose I better get used to it.... Most of my uncles/aunts/parents are absolutely ancient.
"toasting soodle's uncles." How sad to have them both die so close together. Do they still have professional mourners in |Ireland; maybe that could be my next career
That's how Burt talks about all his friends (all???), that they are gone
Sadly, there comes a time in life when your "wedding clothes" get replaced by "funeral clothes". I've lost too many people over the last few years. It's depressing.
reminds you that you are mortal too.
and youd're so youg, Molly
LOL Rubes. No need to pay professional mourners in my clan. Theres so bloomin' many of us, that we could fill a church/crematorium/synagogue without any extras!
You are fortunate to have such a big family. I grew up with many cousins and aunts and uncles but we are widely disbursed and many have died (most actually)
And not enough babies to take their places.
Well, when Uncle Bob died last week, I phoned my boss to let him know I needed Wednesday off. As an aside, I remarked that this may become a regular occurance. Little did I know....
1st husband was an only child as is my second. My sister married an only child and each of us had "fils unique".
My Father was the youngest of 12. I remember when he lost his last sibling. It really mad him sad.
and my son and his wife aren't having any children
It made him really sad.
DH has 3 estranged children, 5 unknown grandchildren and 3 truly unknown greast-grands It's hard to imagine him making those choices
I have a friend who's the oldest of 12 but they're all going strong. She's my age and her mother still plays golf!
How right you are about the big family, Rubes. It was a pain in the ass when I was getting married... so many guests that HAD to be invited, and the associated costs. Now, however, it's really good to know that there is a significant support system.
See, that kind of stuff just makes me wonder why. Here I am, longing for just one grandchild, and your husband has 5 that he has no use for.
Exactly, Molly. At least I stay in regular touch with one of his daughters but when he had his last birthday, she was "too busy" to come.
Oh, Molly. I hear you. I would love a grandchild.
And now, since she has her 3rd grandchild and didn't hear fro him, she's gone silent
At least I have the dogs, thank God for them
That is very sad, Ruby. is he a difficult man?
You get to a point in life when it's time to have young ones around again.
My son wanted children, but his wife, from a very arge family, didn't want any and he acceded to her wishes. Now she's almost 50, so that's that
You also get to a point in life when the young are too much to cope with
Sorry, I just spit my drink at "is he a difficult man". Jaxx hasn't been around chat much.
jax, ywes, you might say he's "difficult" lololol
I'm starting to think that I could use a drink; where are those pool boys whe we need them?
Jaxx, Mr Rubyfoo was awarded 'Difficult Husband of The Year Award' for the last five years in a row.
I have never had a hard time coping with the wee ones. They are the people who still know about magic.
He can be charming, but not to me. He's either overly sentimental which makes me nauseous or very nasty. Then I just walk away
That' why I loved being a teacher, Molly.
Babies between birth and two months terrify the livin' daylights out of me. Once they get to about 3 months, I love them.
my father was too. he ruled the roost and gave my mother hell. he ignored us completely. There was a sort of justice in the way he died at the age of 46 with gangrene of the intestine followed by a heart attack. His last words to my mother were ' None of you will miss me, will you'
I like children from about 8 or 9 to 14. They're the most intereting to me.
Kids are fine until the hormones kick in
wow, jaxx, that's quite a story
Overly sentimental or nasty, both are barfy.
I even like teenagers, but wouldn't want to have one any more My son was a pleasure ecept for a couple of tough years
OMG Rubes.... they are not children between those ages. They are hormones on legs...
One of my friends has described my life as a soap opera - not at all it has been more dramatic than that.
|My favorite was teaching junior high; the kids were so uch fun
Jaxx, Is your Mom still around?
Everyone else's kids are fun at junior high age. Your own are walking, talking attitude.
No, she died 4 years ago at the age of 94.
And, ignore me if I am being too nosy, was her life better after your Dad passed away?
I think we have to start writing our books. I've tentatively titled mine "How Bluebeard, an English crook and the IRS ruined my life".
Oh for God's sake Ruby, there is so much more about your life that is positive and good. New title please.
We all had a better life. No more aggro and no more searching for mum after my dad had been really nasty and she had gone out.
That's the book to get me out of this jam. The other one is to make some money, tentatively called 100's of shades of all colors"
That's the one that |Molly will ghostwrite
I'm happy to hear that, Jaxx,
Forget the first one. No one wants to read a sob story. The juicy stuff sells.
I was very lucky with my parent and with my son, too
He was 6ft 2 and my mum was 5ft 2. The only time I saw her retaliate was when she got a stepladder, olaced it up against my father. he stood there and let her while she broke a carton of eggs over his head.
I thought maybe the NYPost
parents*
*placed, even
I spent many years in an abusive relationship, and I have fretted and worried about the effect it had on my kids. Its good to hear that kids come out the other end intact.
I thought an expose might embarrass the fisc into droppig the case
We all come out on the other end intact. If we set our sites on thriving.
For sure, Molly. I'm thinking of my kids.
Absolutely, Molly. Sometimes it takes a little therapy (I needed it to get out of the 1st marriage), but came out of it much stronger and very ambitious
Your kids sound wonderful, soodle, I think you've done a great job, husband be damned!
Kids are very hearty and take their cues from Mom. Your kids obviously learned healthy things from you Soodle. The past is gone, no need to live there anymore.
(and probably will be)
Some do. My father tolerated my brother and I because we were clever. My poor sister, on the other hand, was born when the marriage was creaking and Dad blamed her. He would sign our reports but refused to sign Jill's. he made her life a misery but she tells me that she's forgiven him while I find it so hard to do so.
But the good news is that Daughter of Soodle ( which sounds soooo much less ominous than Son of Soodle) has been shortlisted from 26,000 to 400 for a position in the Irish Police Academy.
Somehow, I don't think forgiveness works. Better to use some of thoe resentments to grow on
Cop Daughter Of Soodle. Oh there are so many places to go with that.
That is great news, soodle
(son of soodle sound too much like son of sam)
The names that start with Mac or Mc mean "son of". As an Irish person, Son Of Soodle never bothered me.
LOL Molly, don't think that I haven't thought of all of them. LOL.
So when I move to Ireland, I'll become Nellie cLief lol
McLief
My mother came from an irish background and she was one in a million. How she ran a B&B, brought up three kids while my father drank himself silly, I will never know.
MacLief
Of all the young boys who were friends of my son, one is now a cop and one is a fireman. I hope to never run into them while they are at work.
or I could keep the (misspelled Kelley)
Yep. Fair play to Sarah. In this recession ridden country, to land a job which is permanent and pensionable would be quite an achievement.
yay for Sarah!!
And, of course, her mother would never get a speeding ticket again.....
where are you Jaxx?
You wish!
Jacksonville? Jackson Hole?
LOL. Like Rubes said, where are you?
I am in the Uk in a small seaside town in Devon on the SW peninsular but my early life was spent in Manchester in Lancashire.
So you are not so far away. Do you go to the seashore and look for fossils?
SW peninsula..... sure, your practically in Ireland!
Isn't that where the French Lieutenant's Woman was set\\\\\/
Not in Teignmouth. At the moment after the gales, we have no beach to speak of. To get good fossils you have to go to the Jurassic Coast in Dorset (about two counties up)
Ruby... any positive news on the IRS front?
swimming distance, if you do't mind cold water and sharks
no, it just gets worse. They raise the bill about 20K/month. The numbers are ridiculous
No, That was set in Lyme Regis, I believe.
aaah, sorry, I'll have to look up a map
Has there been any progress at all?
Good morning all :)
I went to the Fr lawyer the other day and the whole thing is so stupid at this point that I could barely keep a straigt face and he must have thought I was a total idiot
Hiya Liz :-)
It is on the edge of the SW Peninsula in Dorset. Lovely part of the world.
hiya liz
Women often have to live through seemingly unendurable life situations. One of my favorite quotes is "we're women honey, strength finds us".
Oh Ruby. You poor pet.
Oh Ruby - I really hope it all gets sorted soon - it is ridiculous!
Come and hide in less than sunny south devon
I had better go as I am beat and will even lose an hour of sleep tonight when the time changes
it will never be sorted and they'll probably invalidate my passport
Sleep well Ruby - at least the time change means summer's coming :)
Don't fall asleep on the dog again.
my last resort will be very southern Italy. I already have someone with family there who will drive me and the dogs
Ruby, I swear to God I'm going to come over there and kick your tiny butt if you don't stop being so negative about this.
I swear to God.If men were the ones to give birth, everything would be different.
*Pardon Soodle and I while we swear to God*
One child only, my mum used to say
I actually feel a whole lot better than I did 6 months ago, now that I've made soe decisions
LOL Molly. ~that was synchronised Swearing to God!
when the money strts to be taken, I'll send everybody plane tickets -- better them than the fisc
Listen to the Helen Reddy song - I am woman, watch me grow. And i am showing my age again
I'm almost 71, jaxx, so I certainly remember that song
and you can all help me organize my papers and we can drink and start the smutty book
I remember that song Jaxx. Was it Helen Reddy who sang the song about Angie Babe?
Good anthem. Women are stronger than men. They don't live as long either.
"Feel me roar"
Angie Baby and yes.
I remember thee song Angie baby but can't recall who sang it.
Sounding stronger Ruby :)
and my calves are growing muscles, yay
Now I am going Quaker
Those dogs will keep you fit!
*Puts out the disco ball and cues up "I Will Survive" *
Feeling sorry for poor God. Getting bombarded by Soodle and Molly at the same time.....
good night, friends
Sleep well, Ruby and hugs :)
but I thinkhe's on our side!
He's used to it Soodle. We are on His "pesky list"
{{big big hug}}
Ruby, if God lets you down then we are all here to shout at Him
(((((Ruby)))) I will call you soon. XXXXX
Oy, it's all schmoopy and hugs and kissy in here.
female solidarity
Nah. God's gonna point his big foam finger down and zap one of us....
Nothing wrong with hugs and kisses ;)
Whoosh...from schmoop to doom and gloom in one big swoop.
Fireworks
I have been hitting the red wine tonight and Babble is beyond me. My brain has gone off and left me. I don't think God will mind us being pesky for a good cause. I am off to my bed. Night all and here's to tomorrow, Mother's Day here.
Sleep well Jaxx - and Happy Mother's Day.
(((Removing tongue from cheek))) Yay Lizz! Well done!
Thanks
Thanks, Lizlin, over and out
Sleep well too, Soodle and have a good evening, Molly.
♥♥♥...hugs...kisses...hearts...f\nlowers...birds tweeting merrily...
Enjoy Liz.
LOL!
Cursed \n
Note to self. Say 'Over and Out' rather that 'poof'. So much cooler.
Anything is better than poof.
poot
See, poot. SO much better.
I'd feel like Miami Vice or Kojak saying Over and Out. Poof just sounds boring now.
You could say *poink* when leaving
Or you could go Schwarzenegger and say "hasta la vista baby"
I like Toodle-Oooooooooooooo
Poink, reminds me of doink, which reminds me of dork.
I'm making cheesecake brownies right now
LOL. I just remembered. On the street I grew up on, in the late '70's / 80's, all the dogs were called after TV detectives. There was Canon Ryan, Starksy O Toole, Hutch Flanagan, Ironside Maguire, Columbo O Carroll (our dog....)
Mmm, cheesecake brownies. I found a recipe for caramel cinnamon brownies today. It's on my "to make" list.
terrific (is my phantom) hi all
Hi Gwen.
Well, it's over and out from Soodle. G'night all.
finish rows 1, 3, 5, so now I have a stripy pattern
nbt finally
Toodles, Soodle
oh Book Doc Gwen, would you clue center e word?

Oodles of toodles to Soodles.
Oodles of noodles to Soodles
does snoodle have poodles??
sorry....came to ask about the last CO word...
Soodles doodles with noodles
hunting for it now, penquis
The last CO word is co6/24
yes, i know that....just can't figure it out...
: O I did not know about Soodle doodling : O
only have 2 left to finish the whole kit and kaboodle... ;o)
OK, it's almost the nickname for an accountant... bean co*****
ty
I wonder if Soodle canoodles?
thought i had tried that....
no, she probably just toodles around...
snoodles has a book of droodles
"Thought I had tried that" is fast replacing "never mind" as the most popular Babble response.
hah....yes, i am sure that is true...
We should acronym it ... TIHTT is "though I had tried that"
she then goes home for some snickerdoodles....
or just TITT for thought I tried that hahahaha
Soodles doodles with noodles with oodles of poodles with Snickerdoodles
TITT works, even though I am not fond of short speak.
as she toodles down the street...
*Bets Soodles introodles her way back in here, because her ears are burning*
Ha! For certoodle!
sorry to interrupt the oodle fest again, but can someone clue the first RE 5/16 please?....
Kit & caboodle! re5/16 dictionary is a re5ence book
duh....ty....i am done
re5/16, re + the hairs on a cuddle critter (spelled wrong)
congrats, Penquoodle
Of course, Soodle may be spoonoodling with a doodle. Too busy to introodle.
Oooh Molloodle!
Or she could just be watching a movie and gorging on some foodle.
She is niboodling on some pizzoodle
Which would put her in a good moodle.
ha!
I have 30 woodles left
hi all!
good evening!
hi phand!
goodle noodle!
How goes it?
I'm fine and doodle
soodle is knoodling her poodle? has she lost her noodle?
We think so, ruroodle
I think she's had too much strudel
well, I sure have...
No such thing as too much stroodle or strudel!
agreed! Which is why I stay away from it...
too much stroodle will give you the toodles
does anyoodle have the first to4/7
to 7 is like not rough
add poetic word for many times.
never moodle
to4/7 in the head
thank yoodles
OH I shoodle waited
phantoodle: toea
LOL
I pulled a periwoodle
as long as you don't pull an 00dle
or is that 00gle.. I can never remember
AAAUUGGHHH!
auugh?
To oogle caboodle is all fine and doodle here.
*drama time *
I baked two dozen lovely gluten-free brownies for a big shindig we are having tomorrow, and the dog ate half of them!
auuughoodle!
I am VERY annoyed with her.
oogie boogie?
chocolate?
Yes, chocolate.
NOT good for her.
How did the dog get access to the brownies?
I made brownies too! Mine are intact! nyah nyah
if the dog ate chocolate.. take her to the vet immediately.. it is toxic to dogs.. it is an emergency
They were on the countertop, cooling on racks, and she reached up and ate them.
or call an emergency vet to ask
She is a rather large dog.
Dogs are allowed on the countertop?
call your vet.. I mean it.. sue.. it's really poisonous to dogs
Frank seems to think she'll be ok; there isn't all that much chocolate in them.
it also depends on the chocolate. Milk is less dangerous than dark.
don't delay
No, she is certainly NOT allowed on the countertop!
it was a brownie mix, the chocolate comes from cocoa powder
still to be safe .. call your vet
where is jes to be found when you really need her
I will.
12 brownies is a lot of chocolate. A call to the vet sounds on the safe side.
good thing we all weren't there.. there wouldn't be ANY left
:-)
gluten or not
I have a dog counter top story
I'm trying to figure out how to snitch Lil's all gluten, lots of chocolate, cheesecake brownies.
do tell, ruru!
ooh, cheesecake brownies sound really good!!
I bet you have a counter top story too, that has nothing to do with dogs (I hope)
I was having a tasting group of friends over.. so I pulled out a prime rib roast to rest on the counter (with balsamic vegetables).. to cool.. and got busy with the tasting.. and our new rescue dog Chance.. (who was a big time counter surfer) somehow got in the kitchen and pulled the roast down to the floor where all three dogs in the kitchen pretty much demolished the roast and veggies leaving us with nothing.. we had to order in Pizza :D
anyway I have put the dog in the bedroom for the moment, she is quiet, Frank has gone out to get some ingredients so I can make more brownies *sigh*
wow, a whole prime rib! Doggie heaven!!
I think you should take the dog to the vet .. really sue
I can't until Frank gets back with the car
unbelievable.. $145 cut of meat
you can call the vet.. and let them determine the urgency
I've been googling a bit, looks like a large dog would have to eat an awful lot of brownies to get really sick
well, that
that's probably a good idea, I think they have an emergency number
please.. I'll feel a lot better
hmmm, they refer to out-of-town places after hours, all of which are 30 miles away or more
just call to find out....also, mouse traps on counter work incredible to teach dogs to stay away!
feer
reef
Sue, do a Google search on chocolate being poison for dogs. Ru isn't kidding.
And large dogs are not immune.
call frank and tell him to come home with the car. and keep the dog near you.
It seems older dogs have a bigger problem with this.
evening all! damn needlecase
ty for that dan. nbt!
glad it helped
so apparently i have to induce vomiting. sigh
sorry sue :(
is there doggie ipecac?
Oh I just learned that syrup of ipecac is a no-no for kids when poisoning is suspected.
yeah ipecac was recommended when I had my first, but has since become looked down upon
Can you get on it sue?
halfway. this is a tough grid.
Same here Harry. But my first was many years before your first, I think. : )
my first was 2001 - my wife was quite pregnant on 9/11, and was working on a surgery rotation in a hospital in NJ where one of the nurses had a husband in the wtc and freaked out in the middle of a surgery
woo! got the 8
ok, the dog actually LIKED the mixture of milk and hydrogen peroxide that the vet suggested (I swear, this dog will eat anything!). Frank is out with her now hoping for some action. I am going to go bake some more.
that's totally disgusting sue
I'll put an update in my profile once things settle down.
Thank you sue
I put my dog outside when I bake cookies, cakes or brownies. JUst dont wanna risk it. Glad you called the vet in time it seems.
firewords! tx all cluers
Good idea Cos. If the dog is prone to get up on the counter, it's better to isolate it when baking with chocolate.
te5/16 that ends like the exclamation of pain was my last
31 to go....gotta list
