I did.. how is the recovery going?
did the surgery work out ok?
quite well, at last. Surgery was April 9. I was rolled into the OR around 8 am, back in the recovery room by 10 am, on my feet by 4 pm.

pugs, when we eat excessively of sugars they convert to fats. perhaps, as you are losing weight, it is vice versa. as the fat is released, it is being converted to sugar.
oh and pug, I learned that when you hardly eat, you actually force the liver to release glucose into the blood. So eating more regularly brings the sugar down further!
our body doesn't burn fat for energy, it burns sugar.
she said she would like to see it down to about 75--I think thats a bit too low but Iam no doctor

I always have trouble with food, lol, I have an eating disorder. But yes, the meds can cause this. I hope you can make yourself eat something every 3 hours at least.
Ive only been eating 3 meals and not much at those--I will try picking up on it
to keep your bloodsugar levels as level as possible, you should eat at least once every 3 hours. 3 meals and 3 healthy snacks. Try for slow release stuff... wholegrain bread or crackers etc.

Yes, mlf...you can get a small keyboard (same size as the iPad) that connects via bluetooth connection.

Back in November I broke my ankle badly and it should be healed by now but it turns out that I am sensitive to the metal they used to fix it. Now I have to go through the whole thing again when they take the metal out and let the bone fill in all the holes that will be left. I am disappointed
Bugs, the removal shouldn't be as bad as the original recovery.
I know because the bones have healed but the soft tissue is still sensitive and will have to heal properly. I just don't want to have to sit around with no weight bearing again. Do you know about that hego?

oh good news. I didn't get any details because I was so shocked to find out why it hasn't healed properly. The reason exlains the continuing pain and the swelling that never went down much but I didn't think to ask about the next time. I will do that when the hospital gives me a date.

I agree. Last time the whole foot was dislocated. This time the tendons and ligaments should be good, just soft tissue damage and hollow bones

Just joking, I have very strong belief in alternative medicine.
It is really helping and the first treatment I have done so far that is systemic rather than focused on one symptom or area. It's inexpensive because you are in a large airy room with other people receiving treatment in easy chairs or lounge chairs. It costs a sliding scale from 20-40, 10 bucks for special months.

I am now drinking a bit of vinegar before each meal and taking other supplements...seem to be helping...unless I'm just delusional...which is totally a possibility.

In the past 2 years I have done at least 50 sessions of PT, chiripractic, cortisone shots, antiinflammatories, and this one is the only thing that is noticeably helpful- my hands are much better, my back will take time.

Mine were also prompted by tightening of muscles in my shoulders since I worked at a computer all the time, so a muscle relaxer may be a good thing for you. I like Valium..it's the best antispasmodic around and we know what it does since it has been available and in use for a very long time. But you'll need to lie down when you take it since it will probably make you sleepy.

Nope...motrin vs. naproxen...different. Naproxen was the ONLY think that ever relieved period cramps for me, as a prescription. Unfortunately, didn't find that out until I was 30...all those years of pain...oh, we women do suffer...
I get either migraines or tensionheadaches- I'm not sure which but they hurt.
I get tension headaches now..not the same..migraines will totally incapacitate you. Spent many hours in emergency rooms getting narcotic shots...miserable.
The big problem with taking narcotics for migraines is the rebound effect.
