frankly, pugs, i am sick and tired of these whippety snippets of young women judging me, and saying these vile things to me, but never to my face, always via text messages or a third person. i mean, who the hell do they think they are? they have never made any effort to befriend me, and i have tried so hard to stay in the background and let them get on with their lives.
maybe that you've tried too hard Rose. its hard to please everyone and keeping a large family happy is not a easy task. We want all to be peace and happyness but it dont always go that way

i am also using spybot for extra security.
we( don and i ) run a free program of avast.
i am currently using Microsoft security essentials in conjunction with C Cleaner and Malwarebytes. seems to be working well

the bad/broken sleep often comes with age rose. but if your thyroid hasn't been checked... that helps regulate your body temp.

i have a paper on sleep hygiene that may help, i will see if i can get it to you via e-mail.... one of the first commandments is beds are only for sleeping and sex.... if you can't sleep, get up....i'll look for it
you get a Whole six hours!! lol. ever since my sleep apnea and bursistis and that thing that pulls the nerves all along the back of your leg and around the butt cheek, i am lucky to get 4 a night. the best sleep i ever get is the one hour mid-day power nap on the couch:(

crossy, it is only occasionally i get those 6 hours. usually it's more like 2-3 hours, awake for 1 1/2, then another hour, awake for another hour. and the restless legs...so i know and understand completely where you are coming from. you poor guy.

bichon, for me, it is like having an industrial vacuum ramming air down your throat all night long
you poor guy. i managed to train myself to sleep with my mouth closed. i now only have a light weight silicon bolster. it made such a difference.
the seal is always braking and air squirting in my eyes, dry throat, cannot tolerate it
ugh, yes, crossy. that is horrible. does your machine adjust automatically or is it on full blast all night.
on the bright side, my choking episodes seem to have naturally diminished
the air pressure is set by the doctor only
it has a slow ramp up feature however
I don't think I could get used to sleeping on my back. Fortunately I don't have apnea
that is my problem, bichon, i cannot sleep on my back, and laying on my side breaks the mask seal more often than not
i don't sleep on my back. with the nasal bolster i can sleep on my side or back. and i have had my machine set to a slightly lower pressure and it runs at that all night.
so, the machine is now a $1700.00 paperweight:(

well, granny, my secret problem is that i am also claustrophobic. My nose plugs up at night, i am a mouth breather and that darn mask feels like a coffin lid slamming over my face:(
until i got my machine and jiggled and experimented with it, i used to fall asleep sitting on a fence. couldn't keep my eyes open for more than a few hours. if i sat down at work, during a break, i would nod off.
so, for now, it sits

when i have a clear sinus night, it is so odd a feeling that i can actually register and feel the cold air hitting the back of my sinus passages as i breathe. feels like there is all the air in the world at those times

there are many good thing under the alternative medicine umbrella, but my needs are more specific because the cancer will get me first , so i stay right on top of it all with standard hospital/ doctor medicine for now
babs, i use natural remedies for my FM. what the doctor had me on was supposedly non-addictive. but it took me 12 weeks to get off the rotten stuff.
i have to do body triage as it were. things have to take a number.
your choice of course...cancer often the manifestation of pathogenic activity in your body...so attacking the cancer can be treating symptoms only
agreed, but for now, i will stick to traditional medicine for my cancer treatments and tests
