The surgery I had used an incision called "anterolateral" wherein no muscles nor tendons are cut, just retracted. This meant no weight-bearing nor movement restrictions. The anesthetic was spinal plus sedation rather than general. They had me standing six hours after surgery. I was home three days later.

phantom: ornery
Incredible, mel! So glad it all went so well! Are you having much pain?
phantom: an IBM typewriter model
Not much. The first two weeks were pretty painful. I was bruised from my buttock to just below my knees. I joked with the nurses that someone had to have had their knee up on the operating table. The bruises took a while to heal since I have to take blood thinners for four weeks to prevent clota.
pr 8
phantom: pornier
Is that a word to anyone besides ruru?
I worked in the ortho industry for 21 years, and seeing surgeries in sales training ... someone probably DID have their knee on you lol... so glad you have past the ouchy 2 week mark... hopefully every day will just get better and better.

Hey there, sprite.

Am feeling sooo proud of myself getting nbt in less than 10 minutes - another 254 words and I'll explode! lmao
yay you worzel.
good morning spritey. {{hugs}} to you all
I don't like that last o though, and i don't much care for the top p neither!!!
hello my darling rose :) *hugs*
ooo sorry - good morning Sprite xx
hello worzel
watching the news from arizona. it's just heart-breaking.
Good Lord - I've just been on the ABC news site. They have some footage of the tornadoes in action - they are whoppers! My heart goes out to them and may their God take care of them xx
ni4, worzel. it is devastating isn't it? we don't know how fortunate we are, living where we do.
we have started to have earth-quakes here in victoria. unheard of before. and we had small tornados in south australia. even so, they are minor compared to what the rest of the world endures.
So true. The UK suffers terribly from flooding around once a year in certain parts, but we get nothing like that. We once had a hurricane in the late 80s (well, they called it a hurricane) and it killed a fair few, but these folks get it year after year. Mind you, we do get quite a lot of elderly people die from the cold in winter and from the heat in summer, but that's because as a nation we are disgusting at taking care of our "senior statespeople" and should be ashamed of ourselves for that
i hear you worzel. and where do we start with a reform that takes care of our marginalised citizens? i say the pollies need to give up at least 50% of their so-called wages. it's disgusting the amount of money they award themselves, plus the perks.
horrible, rose :(
a wage implies that hard work is done to earn that money. yeah, right!! come and do my job, live on my wage, you mugs!!
True. Although they have no actual power over pay-rises in this country for us proles they do try to squeeze company profit margins so that pay-rises are hard to award to employees. And yet the politicians, who claim that Joe Citizen can live on a pay rise of around 2 per cent per annum, have just awarded themselves a 28 per cent pay rise the b*stards!!!
excuse my language but it makes me seethe
see??? i just said that...what do they take us for? a bunch of morons? *seething, right alongside worzel*
greetings friends
Hey, puglet.
hey my darling pug :) *hugs*
{{hugs}} my dearest miz pugs
what makes me laugh is that the average payrise - excluding top flight earners - was around 2.6 per cent. The cost of living rose by 1.9 per cent. Fair enough, but another 33 taxes were introduced by the UK last year so technically the pay rises were negated by the taxes. What a laugh ho-bloody ho!
Good morning pugs ((((hugs)))) xx
hugs and love to you all----I had a heck of a time getting to sleep last nigh-:(
aw that sucks, pugs. Can you take a nap later today?
were you sort of fretting because of the weather, pugs?
I'll be back in a bit - need a ciggie and another coffee! *mini-poof*
*calls out to worzel's back* have one for me!!!
all kinds of stuff rolling around on the mind Rose, just one of those nights
no the weather was pretty good here
*strokes pug's hair until all worries are gone*
ugh, dear. i awoke at 2 AM, read until 4:30AM, turned light off, dozed off again at 6:30AM, alarm went off at 7:15AM. *sigh*
*gently hits rose over the head with a rubber hammer*
okay, so what's fretting you, dear?
were you hurting Rose
awww, spritey....just the rubber one?? i need the sledge hammer please. and take a good swing...
not just one thing--just this and that--no biggies really
never, rose, don't want to hurt you or leave a lasting impression, lol. Just a gentle 'sleep NOW' swing.
looks like a big grid today
no, dear pugs, i had one with the lot last night, just couldn't sleep. kept going to glow-in-the-dark hot, even with a fan on me.
did you get rested up Sprite
fever from the candlelight dinner with don? lol
pugs, do you know the words to the ' gloria in excelsior '. when thoughts interrupt me in the night, i start reciting it. it is amazing how quickly God steps in, and calms my thoughts.
sort of. Must go to a funeral later today, think I will go to the service and then back home. Hope I can hug my friends before or after the service.
no I dont Rose
last night, i was drowsy, just couldn't get to that deep REM sleep.
someone close Sprite
oh, sprite. i hope the big fella upstairs gives you strength and peace as you go through the process today.
the mother of a friend of mine. Not very close to me, I am going for the friend and his wife and son.
pugs, try googling it, dear. if you can print it out, it would be good. we recite it in service evry sunday. i have been saying/singing it ever since i was about 8 years old.
I second what Rose said
okay Rose
thanks, my darling friends
even so sprite, it is very hard to watch your friend and his family go through the grief process. {{hugs}} dearest one.
yes, that is true. And we are also waiting for the test results on a removed tumor. The sister of the friend who just stayed with us. Would have been yesterday, but the hospital called and said it would take another week.
oh thats too bad Sprite--I hope it comes back with good news
ugh, sprite. the waiting is the hardest bit. once you know the results, you can move forward. i hope cobi's sister can handle it. will put her in my prayers.
yes we all do... somehow I have the feeling them postponing it is not a good sign. They did a biopt earlier and couldn't come to a diagnose based on that.
thank you both. Prayers are most welcome!
will do Sprite--do you have her first name for us
do you guys sometimes think that God hits the wrong people too? Cobi's sister is one of the most beautiful people I know, so loving, so pure.
her name is Rommy
I dont always understand his ways and dont feel safe questioning his ways really. God dosent cause bad things to happen for he cant look upon sin
I feel totally safe criticizing Him. He made me Himself, He knows exactly how I mean it :)
good question, sprite. not too sure what the answer is. i wish i was there and we could talk this out together.
back again - and feeling rather proud having noticed an 8 letter word!! xx
would love to see you IRL, rose! But you guys caring and praying is almost as good. It certainly transcends all distances.
well done worzel
Parental intelligence finally rubbing off Mum xx
phantom acetic
Wor, did you enjoy your shopping trip yesterday
Sprite, your name is almost in the grid
sprite, you should have heard me when my soul sister died of breast cancer, and left her 2 daughters, 12 and 14 with their dad. then said dad died 12 months later, ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. left those two girls orphans at 13 and 15.
D'you know, Pug, I did. And all I spent was £3!!! But it was lovely being out and about in the sun and although I had much to buy I just couldn't be spending the money because I am poor and would have felt bad about not being able to feed the budgie lol
oh I hear ya, rose! How horrible. Very very hard to be accepting and understandng about His ways then!
lol indeed, pugs... I am a phantom today, it seems
for goodness sake, worzel, stop it!! you will have pugs in tears...naughty man.
Oh, believe me, the animals come before me every time. I would starve so they could eat!
i'm not allowed to have anything but a bird as a pet. don cannot justify feeding an animal when there are so many humans, adults and children, starving to death each day. and i have to agree with him. and now we come back to the pollies. give up the moolah....feed the hungry, ya mugs.
34 words from that one S ! OO should love this grid-lol
Just been looking at the news - Iraqi elections are strange - they have around 30 candidates for every seat available. How many political parties do they need lol
lol yes pugs. A grid with a bite.
I got 11 words so far-lol---my brain is slow this morning
Animals always come before people with me. I much prefer animals to humans - present company, and Diane, excepted of course! xx
Even though she's laying next to me snoring her head off (so cute!!)
you had better, worzel...or diane and i want to know why..
Iam like that too Wor--I make sure they get their food first
Breaks me in two to see animals mistreated. But let's not go there - let's be cheerful!!!
wow, a male partner who thinks their woman's snoring is cute!!
It is cute - she knows she snores and she said to me only last night that she hopes it doesn't bug me too much. I really do find it cute, and it always makes me smile - I think it's love, because my ex-wife used to snore like a frigging pneumatic drill and it really got on me goat!!! Mind you, I didn't really care much for her . . . pmsl
oo-er just found a rather rood phantom, but dunno whether I should type it . . .
oh hang it, phantom clitoris!!!!
sorry . . .
it was because of don's concern, that i finally had a sleep study done. since my CPAP machine....we BOTH sleep better.
very good, rose. Apneu is a sneaky killer.
brb
ok pugs, hurry back :)
lolol, worzel. a male colleague of mine was so funny. he kept insisting a certain hotel was in Clitoris...he could not understand why a room full of female nurses were laughing hysterically. the town was Clematis.
very interesting freudian slip, rose, lolol
haha. That reminds me of a Polish girl I used to work with. She asked me one day in broken English what to ask for at the garden centre, so for devilment I wrote it down for her - I told her to ask for some clitoris (as in clematis, of course) and some trailing labia instead of lobelia! She came back the following Monday with a bit of a face on her, I can tell you!
that is cruel
cruel, Sprite, but so funny!
yeah, sprite. my brother, the next youngest after me, has it. his wife describes it exactly. he has now been diagnosed with SEVERE coronary artery disease. he has been anti-coagulated and had a stent in6ed. he now understands why his wife and i am so insistent on him having a sleep study do4.
cannot think were I get this naughty bent from . . .
*giggle* worzel?? down boy!!
sorry Mum! xx
how awful, rose :( Am so sorry. Yes, my husband had one do4 as well when I asked him to. But he didn't score at all high when sleeping in the hospital. The funny thing is, since that test he snores less!
Anyway, I guess I'd best go off and start some more gardening - also have housework to do and last night's dinner dishes - I'm such a lazy slut lmao! I hope you all have a good day/eventide, however you celebrate it xx
bye worzel
bye bye sprite tc xxxx
only in your household, sprite. for heavens sake!!
enjoy your day, worzel
bye mum and say hi to Dad or me xx
*poof*
ikr! Always something weird here. Well at least things are never boring.
bye Wor and Iam back
wb pugs!
oh I answered your email, rose. Did you have a good time with Don?
wb pug pugs :)
Iam having trouble of getting it going this morning-lol
yes, we had a lovely dinner. but FM was playing up, had to bring 3/4 of my small pizza home. had it for lunch today...so yummy.
sprite did you get my mail--my computer was acting up yesterday due to the wind I guess
hehehe :) Try working on some endings, pugs. We have -ier and -ic and -er, and of course plurals in spades.
yes I did, pugs! Lovely email. Will write back after babble.
my p4 lilac were almost touching the ground due to the wind
we can learn from nature... to bend in the wind, lol.
I just hoping they are still there when the light comes-lol They are almost ready to open their blooms and I love their smell
that would be great, pugs
sprite, himself tells me we are over our limit for down-loading. will check again tomorrow when our down-load is back up to speed.
ok rose! So different from how things work here, lol.
oh, pugs, i so love lilacs. our decorative pear tr4, has turned all different colours. the leaves are so striking.
Oh Sprite and Rose--got the wi-fi and reader is up and running--now I got to train myself on it---It came the night before Sara left and she didnt have time to really help me much but to get it hooked up and had to call a person to walk her through the hook up
oh awesome pugs! Am so glad! Have you been able to put some of the files onto the reader?
not yet Sprite--I got to learn how to operate it now-lol
ok! Wish I could help you there. We SOOO need a scotty to beam us over.
I do know how to turn it on--lol
that is the most important thing, lolol
Iam kind of waiting until I get my glasses so its not so blurry
good idea. Am so glad things are working out for you, pugs. *hugs*
ty
are we okay now on the mail thing
yes we are... will write as soon as I am done with this grid. A few more words :)
thats all thats matters-:)
lol
I will be on this grid for a day or two-lol
lolol... if only that were possible, right? It is actually a pretty easy grid for a biggie. Almost every word is part of a series.
there we are. Fireflies.
congrats!
ok, am off to the email and then the funeral. Hope to see you guys tomorrow *hugs* A blessed day and a peaceful night to you all.
same to you Sprite--love and hugs
WTG SPRITE!!! PRAYERS FOR YOU AS YOU MOVE THROUGH THIS DAY, DEAR.
aagghh, sorry...i didn't mean to shout.
and congrats to you too Rose
thanx pugs
is tomorrow your second day back to work Rose
yes, pugs. had a good talk to physio this AM. i may need to drop to 1 1/2 hours, or even 1 hour/day.
will pray for you----that sounds better to deal with for right now
think i need to retire. {{hugs}} miz pugs. i hope your day treats you and yours well. xoxox
night Rose and ths and same to you--hugs
Boo!!!
welcome back Wor
ty pug xx
that was a quick gardening job
yes it's started to rain a little so i thought i'd hold off for a while x
dont like making mudpies? lol
not with our mud it's too sandy - i could make sandcastles lol
Ive seen some pretty neat caslles on tv--are you very good at it
no - i haven't made one since i was a child and that was with one of those plastic buckets. Some of them are amazing though x
yes they are---well pratice makes perfect they say-lol---might be fun and something to try--and its free too
I could use our sandy soil and make myself a sculpture of somekind - maybe make an imitation lawn being as the grass wont grow on it!!!
there you go! some castles or whatever you come up with Iam sure would look nice in the garden(just try to keep it clean) lol
ooo I'm always clean . . .
yeah I've seen that on here-lol
teehee
haha - Diane's just called me something rather rood - just told her I informed you all of her snoring pmsl!!!
Iam sure she loves her name smeared all over babble land--lol
Just as well she's got a good sense of humour. She's the only woman I know, too, that looks as beautiful when she wakes up as she does all the time!
She knows how much I love her xx
well its a good thing--lol
Anyway, I'm off again - the sun's started to shine again, so I'm gonna see how much I can get on with. I hope you have a lovely day pugs and take care xx ((((hugs)))) xx

Morning Mr Zoom
Hello, Pugs, How are you?
just fine and dandy and you?
I too am fine & dandy :-)
good morning everyone:)
how did you do on the math test or have you had it yet
Morning Crossy
howdy puglet:)
Hello, Crossy :-)
Not yet, Pugs, it takes a few weeks for the test papers to arrive so i have been told.
WHoa! MAssive grid!
hi all, must be morning at last
Hi Scrabbler
Hello, Scrabbler :-)
bit of a fast tidbit. There is currently a security risk with the I.E browsers 6 thru 11(google it for specifics) If you are comfortable doing so you should switch to firefox or chrome while they(Microsoft) patch this issue.
It's morning here, Gwen.
Hello, BDG :-)
howdy scrabby
I saw that a couple of weeks ago, Crossy, I use firefox :-)
did you get your tooth fixed Crossy
I have used Firefox forever.
Scrabbler, Mimi, Was asking for your email address yesterday, She needed information about her 2 or 3 year old boy who was in E.R...not sure of the rest.
i was in yesterday, puglet. remember when i said that he thought my new filling had come loose? well, as it turns out, that tooth had split down the middle, right beneath my gumline, so they had to remove it and dig out the bits;(
Just thought i would pass on that bit of info.
poor Crossy--yuck
Oh, no, Crossy. Much pain today?
Eww that does sound painful, Crossy :-(
Zooz, I think my email address is in my profile
swolen and my cheek is still puffed out. Just as well though, there was a ton of infection hiding underneath it all
I checked..but could not find it.
ewwww, glad to hear you got that fixed, crossy
You do seem to be going through the ringer, Crossy, Glad you are getting it fixed.
well I do hope you heal soon Crossy---things havent been too good for you here lately with your health
Snap, BDG..lol
yes, gwen. It is nice to be able to close my mouth prperly again with all that out of there. i go back in a week so he can check the stiches
Zooz, I added my email address just now.
Poor Crossy!
well, it is just dental. My overall health has been fine, so i am good with it all
Ok,Scrabs, If I see. Mimi, I will let her know :-)
oh you got your sugar test back then Crossy and all was good
er...
well..
i have yet to get my bloodwork..
why are you putting that off? lol
Talking of sugar levels, how are you coping with your diabetes, Pugs?
Bad, Crossy.
just been busy of late. I promise i will get it done asap
its coming down and I got rid of all the infections--so Iam good--thanks
Hope you do, Crossy.
That is excellent news, Pugs!
well, zooz, not diabetic yet, they just wanted to check my blood for it all > the doctor gave me the evil eye when the wifes blood came back borderline last month
yaaa! good news pugs
Maybe not, Crossy, But it is still good to try and keep things in check chap.
agreed.
well when YOU do get around to it Crossy I hope all comes out well for you
i promise, it will be done in next few days
it is better to try and catch it early before you have to take shots
untill then i see some bacon with a side of fluffy buttermilk pancakes with grade #1 light syrup drizzled all over it
Mmm, pancakes.
in my near future*
I go for an over 50s free health check...I did go on the first of last month...but I was a month too early.lol..talk about embarassing.
I tried that turkey bacon and its not so bad Crossy-lol

I hope so for your sake Zoom--good luck
Yes i am very greatful we have a NHS here all medical attention is free.
But, as you all probably know, this will most likely be my last hurrah with free range no-holds barred diet. I see a future of being on a tight leash
I will be fine, Pugs, my body is good..it is just my mind that needs attention..lol
aging is so wonderful isnt it--lol
first we get private money out of public service. then we will be able to get a single-payer plan (equivalent to NHS)
lol, do not worry about you mind, zooz. When you do finally lose it, you will not know it.
I must admit i think you may be right there, Crossy. But i wonder why you have to be told by a docctor when you know that in your heart anyway..lol
because crossy is stubborn, that's why
LOL i like that, Crossy..very true..lol
brb. must step some tea and get some toast and marmalade going
I do hope so, BDG, it is wonderful knowing you can go to any hospital or doctors and get help without worrying about paying for operations...Do not get me wrong..we still have to pay for perscriptions though.

hahaha look at the size of it..And as you say the cost is a tad too high :-)
Just think though..in about 20 years or so. They might be small and slim enough to put on like a jumper. quiet enough too as not to annoy people..oh how nice..just pop up into the air and take some food with you and find a nice area to sit and look out to sea etc....geez what is in my tea..i must be going mad..lol

Not sure yet, zooz...they did admit him to the hospital but his first batch of tests (the serious ones) came back negative. I'm waiting to see how he is this morning. Thanks for getting em from Scrab....I appreciate it very much.
((crossy))
good morning! Whoa!!!! almost 400 words... Good thing I am working from home this morning... :)
Hi, Molly. The worst part of this for me is that I could not get over there to help. I felt like I was sitting on top of a stick of dynamite just ready to blow.
Glad to hear the serious stuff was eliminated. Hope he's feeling better soon.
Well i do hope it all turns out to be fine in the end..You always feel so helpless when i child becomes ill..I feel for you.
Hello, Enomis :-)
how are you zoo?
Like Zoom said, it's hard when the little ones are sick. I will keep him in my prayers.
I hope your granson gets well quickly, mimi.
ditto for me, mimi
My children never seem to need me anymore so when my son made me his first call it made me feel good that he wanted to come to his mother again for comfort and advice. I just wish he didn't live so far away since I don't have a car and the public transportation takes hours. I just wish I could have done more but he was able to get his father to help and he only lives a couple of blocks away.
I am well thanks, Enomis, Hope you are well too :-)
Thanks for the prayers and well wishes all...much appreciated. So good to be able to take some comfort here.

And much less effort.
Hego! Help!! Missing the re 7/52
7/52 tail feathers a bird uses in flight to steer with.
Ron!! THANKS!! Last one. somehow the x never registered

ty molly
For the oo words, think of a word that means germ (an sp word) and build on it
would love some clues for the 8s. so many of them.
sp word? spanish?
No, a word that starts with sp
mkg add to the pro 6/21 above the 8

Oh...no...this really isn't the place to share something like that...not at all...
i need a clue for the ir as well
po 7, please?
I'm just about ready to apply for Priesthood
molly you started it lol
i have re words that are similar but dont see it. i assume she refers to a hot man's organ but i dont see ere as a possibility. i only see ele but i have that word
ruru too late for that lol
sorry ru, couldn't resist it
q hot man's organ, tell me more
Ru is like one of those church ladies, who pretends to be all naughty and bad, but really, not so much. Which is why he's The Darling Of Babble Chat (t-shirts still available)
now i got it. not what i thought. not at all. bichon forget my suggestion. it is another word altogether
use another vowel after the r mkg (the male organ is very helpful within this word)
what word are we talking about?
ty ruru for the clue. sorry my mind went elsewhere.......there is a re 5 word that i thought it built on.
i need a clue for the ir
ir 8?
yes
same ending as the er 8
ir = sarcastic?
If this isn't a place to share that, then where is?
Molly, is it possible to access someone's profile if they're not in chat without going to rankings?
male organs are great for a lot of clues Nonnie :D
ty got it. six 8s now but still 7 to go.
lol ru, so true...
must go to work now.
sure mimi.. if you save them as friends
bye.
same here mkg

ir 6 + same ending
i got it was using the wrong word
do you have 6 now mlf?
Mimi, are you looking for Scrabbler's profile? Link: http://tinyurl.com/kq4tzyw
nonnie you mean 6 of the 8 letter words?
yes, mlf
no i have 5 of them
el, er, ir, oo, pr, and se are the 8s I have
havent found the el yet
negative energy? el8
is that el 8/45?
opposite of the pro 8 i believe
yes, mlf
i got it
ok good
Sorry...had a phone call. Thanks, Molly...yes, that was what I was looking for. Now my other grandson has the same thing but is not as bad....however, they're not considering it horribly serious now like we first though...whew!! I hate it when the babies aren't well...They're only 3 and 2.
What are their symptoms Mimi?
mimi do they have the flu?
First they both had high fevers but then the older one broke out in a full body rash that prednisone didn't help so they admitted him to the hospital yesterday. Now, the other one has the rash, too. They're thinking they had a reaction to a virus...doing more tests.
doesn't that kind of cross a boundary mimi?
Measles?
a virus? yikes
Sounds a lot like measles.
There is a measles epidemic out there. Even adults are getting it
It does...hope they get better soon, mimi
where are they bichon?
I'm wondering if it's a reaction to the valley fever we have here....everyone gets it eventually since it lives in the soil and also is airborne. No, they said it isn't the measles but that's what I initially thought, too.
These kids have childcare in their home and aren't really exposed to other kids much. They've been vaccinated against measles.
Valley fever? That's a new one to me
Offer my congratulations and thanks to their parents for getting them vaccinated!
Whenever we go from summer to winter or spring to summer people get sick here.
The technical name for valley fever is coccidioidomycosis....loved transcribing that one on a regular basis! I now can easily do so.
A lot pf people don't vaccinate for whatever silly reason. My husband was a baby in post-war Germany and he had diptheria and whooping cough. He's luck and survived
I think we should have a campaign with ribbons (red spots on white, perhaps?) indicating "I (My kids) have been vaccinated!"
It shows up on most people's chest x-rays if they've lived here awhile...shows up on mine though I didn't really have symptoms with it...some people do, though.
ri 5/14, please?
They asked me about vaccinating when they were having the first one and I simply told them the dangers of the diseases are MUCH more significant than the slight chance of a reaction to the vaccine. Especially now that whooping cough has returned.
We have huge numbers of children out of school here right now - they have been forbidden to come to school until the measles outbreak is over, for their own protection. Now we have one of the mothers saying she feels she's being bullied.
cyber i dont have it but looking as well
My niece was exposed to whooping cough while in the hospital when she was born. It about killed her...our little miracle baby, she was! They assume this is when she was exposed since another baby that was born during the same stay also got whooping cough. Very dangerous.
Too bad for that mother...people like that create epidemics that the rest of us end up paying for in more ways than one1
cant help myself- better that mom feeling bullied than those unvaccinated kids being in school
mimi are you writing to scrabs about this?\
don't you think that crosses a boundary of some kind?
I'm waiting until I hear from my son this morning to see what they're telling them now and then I might.
I agree, Wolvie.
cyber i dont have the ri 5/14 yet- looking
No, I don't think so at all ruru...especially knowing the kind of person she is. She posted the address specifically so I could get hold of her. To me, if any of us has areas of expertise/knowledge, I think most of us are happy to share.
ok.. up to you and scrabs...
wolvie for that 5 cyber is looking for i cant find it eiher still looking...
ri plus y**l come back now ya hear?
I'm doing a lot of research as well as trial and error on supplements and food to help with ailments and such and it's fascinating. Happy to share what I've found out with anyone. Those who want to stay more anonymous may easily do so.

Thank you!
Maybe the new line will help you find more words?!?!?!?
LOL, car.ee! I'd need some rewiring of my neurons and brain for that! :-)
I don't believe that for a minute....but see if we can get a volume discount for both of us!
Sssshhh Nef...Car believes that words come through the cable lines : O
you know, there are times I think it would be nice to have a properly functioning brain; other times I'm not so sure
well, Molly, in a way that's true. If you type one in, it's supposed to travel through the line
I have got to try to get a walk in before it starts pouring. See you in a bit.

it is pouring here too, has been raining all day
hi all

PA, outside of Phila
hi peri. We had rain for the last 2 days straight; over 4 inches of rain during that time
where are you mkg?
DC area.
wow all the way to minn? gee.
where near philly peri? son lives in merian or merien and brother in law in elkins park area.
wynnewood
well i am stuck at 156 words. gee tough grid.
Merion
I think you may be getting what we had; today it's just occasional spits and mist; nothing like the past 2 days
Still not getting re 7/52 and so 7/36 any further clues please
I hate the word philly. I used Phila or Philadelphia
ok.
I am getting tired of this grid but will carry on and I will finish
I'm going to give up early. I'm just glad that I'm not being dropped all the time right now
(Comcast came out and replaced the lines to the pole from the house this time

wtg, flosey.. I need to do that too.. hi all
hi Aloy :)

I wish I could..it let up but we expect heavy rain later and tonight
Many universities (and religiour organizations) are headed by a ****or + final stage of washing: **nse + in equations this letter denotes an unknown item (also: third from the of the alphabet: rstuv*yz

Hi Annie and Erda (& everyone that I've missed so far)
Hi Nef
Hi Nef...glad you were rewired. I could use some rewiring.
howdy Nef
*plops down* fireworks
It's official. The re7/52 has been clued 9 ways from Sunday!!!
wow, congrats Annie!!!
I hope gran got the word
*Fans Annie and hands her a cool drink*
*thanks Molly
No typing for me today. That alphabet sequence should read stuvw*yz
going to fold laundry..bye dear babblers
I *personally* need some rewiring too, Annie. Lately it seems I can't finish anything at all! I started cleaning off my desk; then started cleaning out the grandson's toybox in the family room, and have also started cleaning in what I want to call the hobby room (but grandson refers to it as "the electric room")!
bye, Annie.. (-:
Now my whole house is a mess (& I should get back to organizing it while he is at preschool!)
Fractured action
lol, have done that too, Nef.. but sometimes a good cleaning requires making a mess first
you just have to make one mess at a time
I know. My desk had to be done because the cable company asked where the cable line came in the house; was it through a plate or a hole? I had to move furniture to find out!
That annoys me. They wired the place, you would think they know where they wired it into.
We had the same thing happen at work.
The toybox got started because we couldn't close it anymore; and I started the "electric room" last week when we put 4X$ inch blocks under DH's chair so he could get out of it easier.
(That was 4 X4 inch blocks
Sounds like too much to do and not enough people doing it.
Goooooooooood evening fellow Babblers xx
Forgot to say thanks for all the help - finished about 15 minutes ago
That IS the problem, Molly. DH doesn't do much; our son has been trying to work by sitting near a public WiFi in the car (because he works from home here) and the grandson is only TOO eager to "help" (which doesn't get anything done)
YAY, gran!!! WTG!!!
hi worzel!
heya nef xx
Well, complaining isn't getting any work done here; I have 1 1/2 hrs left to perform miracles (clean at least 1 mess up around here)
NBS & NBT finally achieved too! BBL! Happy Babbling Everyone!
fireworks!
congrats angel xx
Back for more. It hasn't stopped raining here all day (

Sorry origami. We've had a very wet winter and spring here
If it thunders here I will have two dogs climbing all over me
I'm glad I'm home, but I still have to go fetch the boy. He usually walks home from work, but not in this mess.
The whole country had weather this winter, but was mostly in the 60s and 70s here and no rain.

Liz - is it still Tshirt weather up there the next 2 days?
Yup! Cold at night though - forecast is down to single figures on Saturday night - Friday 28 /11, Saturday 19 /6
Wow! I'll be surprised if it really drops to 19 on Saturday - sunny though on Saturday - probable rain tomorrow.
oh it probably has at least 300 normal words, enomis, maybe 350. I'm working on some that i've certainly never seen before, but not too many
Are you coming to the coast?
To Marcus Beach..BIL died..carry-on luggage only
Sorry to hear that. That's quite a bit further north.

it is hot here - hot
oh.. whew.. I was thinking this guy is quick
lol - a year isn't exactly rocket speed
I just heard from my friend the Somm at Jardiniere.. he's now at Quince and Cotogna
a year isn't really all that much time.. but that's great that he's so kind and thoughtful
I haven't been to quince yet but it is on the list
We gotta get Doren back out here and we'll go there. I love both restaurants
it was 94 here today .. maybe a little hotter
that would be fun! work your magic... maybe she'll come

Hey I've gotten word at 11:59 twice!
This is a piece of cake!
brb - dryer
it's strange. the biggies seem easier to do. is it because there are some many of the letters available, do you think?
There tend to be more buildings - like that in
i was surprised that the -ion ending didn't happen.
I was looking for that too. but the ic helped
and the ly
yes, it did. i don't know how many times i tried ion on the end. almost up to my last words. i felt like i had one shoes nailed to the floor, and i was walking in circles, in my head. lol
I kept looking for it but it hid.
The ly was used in the silliest places so I tried it often
hoot, are you hanging around for the flip?
yup!
oh, good. i was hoping so. but i didn't want to keep you up, if your pillow was singing to you.
I lost count - thatily or ly was used more than a dozen times and some were doozies!
I'm always here for the flip but don't do much talking
and the string i..c...a...l
yup!!
another biggie plz...say 476...lol
so...anyway...how are you?
hey ya diz.
Well arthitic hips, torn meniscus in right knee and need to get rid of a cataract - otherwise - fine & dandy!
