I got a email from Gradyn's stepmom yesterday and his mom is taking them back to court on the 26th to try to take him from his dad and they may need me to go. It will put more crap between my sister and I
yes, hun, it would help. but there is also the issue of the walking. it takes nearly 3 minutes at a brisk walking pace to get from recovery to the other end of the unit. and i mean brisk....some people tell me i am almost runnunig.

If you can, focus on the healthy thoughts. A. you stand up for Gradyn, which he needs. B. you are not to blame for your sister's bad attitude. C. Gradyn is lucky to have you and his father.
I know Sprite---with the younger sister mad at me she takes it out on all the sisters and I feel guilty about that--but you are right, I can only do what is right and thats the best I can do
her taking it out on them is HER choice and responsibility, not yours. Yours is to be the supportive family that Gradyn needs, and you do that. Feeling guilty about it is taking on responsibility that is not yours. And imagine how you would feel if you didn't stand up for Gradyn, and he had to go to his mother.

good news, btw: my friend's lungs are clean! So no metastases (sp?) and since they have been able to remove the whole tumor, things are looking good. She has to have regular scans of the arm to see if it comes back. That is all for now.

You said about my hip and the wear and tear - it wasn't exactly wear and tear that he said, it was mainly just "one of those things" kinda answer. He asked if I'd had any lower back pain recently which I had and he said it was just an extension of that and nothing to worry about. Plus I found a massive solid lump on my hip which he said was probably glandular and not to worry. Time to be put down methinks lol
