yes, it is called imodium here, I think. Can get that at the pharmacist's. Always a bit careful with stuff like that. I have diarrhea about 5 times a week, so taking it would have to be very often.
sprite, i just take it until the gripy pains stop. you take 2 at first, then 1 after each visit to the inside outhouse. the most i have ever had to take was 4 in one day.
and the effect lasts for a few days. no opposite effect, hun. which can be equally horrible for you and i.

last year, when we went to tassie, on our boat ride off bruny island, we had dolphins/porpoises swimming alongside the boat. i sooo loved it.
We get them sometimes too. Also flying fish and turtles. It's all so amazing and I just gasp at my luck in seeing these things.

on the same boat ride, we went past an area heavily infested with seals. everyone on the boat gagged at the smell...and i said...haven't any of you smelled a teenager's bedroom...it out-ranks this.

Yep, Annie...there are still some road closures and people evacuated from their homes. We're expecting more today. I'm loving it because I can stay home and am on the second floor, but those rescues they had to do were scary.

Was retirement mandatory then, Ruby? In the UK you can continue to work beyond the retirement date regardless of your age. It is seen as age discrimination to make you leave if you don't want to.
