diito. had a phone call today to tell me my claim for disability support pension has been granted.
oh, that's a relief! at least it was here for hubs, whew! long process.
not going to get too much in the way of cash until i use up some of my assets. but i will have the pension card which now gives me access to all sorts of discounts.
so does this mean you're retiring? or is it something that fills in during convalescence and you'll try to return to work?
i am now officially retired. the disability pension flips over to the aged pension in 2 1/2 years.
haha, not used to the K being so easy - tried a bunch of silly monkeying...
Hi all :)
Congrats on the disability pension coming through! Yay!
g'day liz girl. how was your walk this morning?
Sunny and lovely!
Just back from the gym now.
So a day full of exercise! So unlike the real me!!!!
liz, did you see my post at 1:37?
Yes, just as I came back to the computer - that's why i said congrats!!!
ugh...sorry i missed that. thanx * huge grin *
Rose, so glad something has gone your way at last
nm! You saw it in the end.
thanx chrissie. yeah finally, hey!
Hi Chrissie - don't think I've said congrats on your beautiful granddaughter :)
Thanks Liz :)
Did your hip pain finally settle?
that was to ro4, of course!
yes it did, thanx.
Good - so how was your day after that?
How on earth can you plural en 6/18? It's either the complete thing or it isn't!!!
i took it quietly. don dashed out and did most of the shopping.
we hit over 30 in our little valley today.
Good for Don and I'm sure that was good for you too. Mine's out picking up a few bits of fruit now before we get ready for the sabbath!
Phew! Also hit 30 today here.
But walking with feet in the sea compensated for the heat!'
it's got too hot too quickly here, and we are still getting quite cold nights. crazy weather.
Same here, though our nights not as cold as yours but I prefer the nights cooler, so not complaining.
When are you off to Lakes Entrance?
the 23rd november
Bet you're looking forward to that.
very much so, liz.
How far is the drive from you?
don is checking.
don't let him go to any trouble - just curious.
it's no trouble, he is sitting in front of the laptop anyway
:)
Are the h words obvious?
only one, the hu6, the others are hy words
thanks
okay, marlo is nearly 4 1/2 hours of non-stop driving.
that's the furtherest away, then we come back towards melbourne via orbost, and then lakes.
Will you take it slowly - is it a pretty route or will you just head straight there or is it just too early to think of such stuff!!!
we usually do take it slowly. we will probably have a couple of stops along the way. and yes, all through that part of victoria is pretty.
I know that we talk about one day driving the coast route from Melbourne to home or the other way!
So is this an area you both know well?
as we travel, we have the rule...if either of us sees something interesting we stop and have a good look.
Great rule. I'm sure we'll do similar in NZ.
we know it quite well. still exploring.
There's always more to explore.
Hope you'll take loads of pics.
don usually does. i usually get the ones of him emerging from the public loo everytime we stop....lolol
lolol!!!!
Album of loos through Aus!
Time for me to go and get ready - will probably be back later. Hugs
*choking on drink*....gasping with laughter.
maybe i'll be here. catch you then, hun

WTG DIZ!!!!
hehehe hello dear rose *hugs* How are you today?
not too bad, thanx hun. approval for my pension is through.
Mari are you there
did you sleep well last night? and how was yesterday?
ah that is good news, rose
I slept okayish. Yesterday was painful but otherwise ok. Kept a very low profile. Today is my turn to shop and cook. I need a very very quick, easy and yummy recipe.
impossible son made a turnaround and apologised, and even cleaned out his room.
well done boyo. he is starting to grow up, at last.
yes he is. falls back into bad behaviour when under stress. Which is normal, I think.
it's all about learning self-control, dear. it's a hard lesson to learn.
indeed. Well, he is learning. And where else to practise than at home?
you must feel better with the official approval for the pension in your pocket, I think? One part of insecurity gone now?
Hi all
hello Dianne :)
indeed sprite. and g'day dianne
how are you today, Dianne?
whew, back. getting stuff ready for dinner. also needed to top up my drink.

wow!! another medical break-through. doctors over here have developed a transport system for donor hearts which keeps the heart beating until it can be transplanted into the recipient.
wow
it means heart can be harvested from the other side of the country, and flown to the recipient's town.
fireflies
WTG SPRITE!!! nice grid wasn't it?
Very. Relaxing and lots of good words. Funny with that consonant maze in the middle. *hugs* and sleep well, rose.
{{hugs}} darling. hope your day is good to you, sweetie.
Sprite, just send you a yummy, easy recipe.
I thik I'm alone in here
sorry ruby. {{hugs}} stuffing my face with food, glorious food.
lucky you. So far, a frazzling morning. I think Burt is having trouble understanding what he reads as I leave specific WRITTEN instructions for him each AM: what to eat, what to do, until I get up. He doesn't seem to understand
What are you eating? Maybe it will give me some ideas
penne pasta carbonara, and pizza, bbq chicken.
I love carbonara! I used to make it for my beloved Ruby (she and I would share). It was her last dinner the night before she died
i bet your carbonara is delicious. do you use cream, in your sauce?
I add an egg at the end instead of cream, so it's more crisphy than saucy
interesting. you will have to make it for us when we come over....lol
it's embarrassingly simple, not usually "company fare"
it is for me....
I will make you anything your little hearts desire, including my "world-famous " gazpacho
ooohhhh, that too...for breakfast...
hahah
fast half but nothing big and no nbt
but at least I'm sitting down and not yelling!
nice ruby. well done you.
105 and now I have to see to old Burt....aaarghhh
{{hugs}} ruby...xxxxx
{{ro**}} you help me calm down when it's like this
I really appreciate it!
then my job is done, dear.

not at all! There are four words from that h, and I barely found ONE
there! I always do badly with yiddish:(
just found the ye 5 and 6 combo
I need some eye bleach....we went out dancing last night, and some CLUELESS woman was there in an unbelievable outfit - beige leggings that exactly matched her skin tone, skin tight. With the lights in the ballroom she looked completely nude from the waist down. It was not a good look for her. At all.
WHY oh WHY do females think leggings are pants????
that that usually wear such things should not while those that can don't
those that*
I usually say " oh! goodie!, a place to park my bike!"
Remember the LOVELY Esquire cover from long ago, with Angie Dickinson, and just a sweater? Imagine that, but horrible.
Hi all :)
howdy, Liz
Those leggings sound horrible!
Sadly, in this case you could have said that, and also "oh, so that's wear my camel has been walking"
hello lizlin!
lol trif
good morning babblebuddies
Hi bichon
howdy, bichon
good morning bichon
hi Liz, any more humbacks?
hi Trif
the bell is going to ring in a minute, so I will say my fond good byes now. Love to all!
Have a good day, Trif.
Yes, Bichon. We went out yesterday - saw a couple just swimming along but it's pretty much the end of the season for us now, so we won't go out again until next June.
darn, must be difficult to see them go
Strange we were saying how strange it was that we weren't going out again this year, as we beach walked today. Still kept looking out to the horizon, hoping for a breach!
Sorry about the double strange there!
They stay in the Antarctic for the summer?
Yes and that's when they eat! There's loads of krill down there. When they migrate they are opportunistic feeders but mostly starve for 6 months :(
Don't think I'd do well as a humpback
Me neither. Learnt yesterday that the milk that the calves drink, is pink!
Strawberry flavour, perhaps! LOL
Too cool.
mm whale cheese:)
Probably from the krill diet, like flamingos
Guess that could be the reason.
Those six months are the reason those whales have all those fat reserves.
blubber
That's right - you can see the spine more clearly on their return journey.
NBT for Crossy:)
Yes Bich, but in these days of political correctness (blech) I'm sure we are not allowed to say blubber
One of the humpbacks yesterday had lost its dorsal fin (careless, I know). Sadly lots of the whales are injured by boat propellors.
Can it live without it?
Think in the context of whales, you can still say blubber!
Well, i do anyway.
Yes it was swimming happily!
There's one whale known as blade runner because of the distinctive scar it got from an injury from a propellor in Sydney harbour.
The council is still debating building a cruise terminal here - we're very anti that idea because of the damage to the environment and the whales.
BLUBBR IS SOMEBODY WHO CRIES A LOT, N'EST-CE PAS?
sorry, didn't mean to shout
Yes Ruby and hi and hugs :)
<--doesn't get the us....
yes, another meaning of blubber ruby. Hi
Humans and their contraptions can really mess things up for some of nature's most beautiful things
Thinking of big things in the water, it would be funny to make a "loch ness monster" and pull it through our lake. It would be a hoot!
us + first 3 of not far
So true - and there are already cruise terminals in Brisbane (70 km away) and Sydney - so why another. Answer - casino!
ty molly
Casinos, hell pits of the world
That would be a laugh, Ruby.
But the businessman's delight! It's all about money!
Just my sick sense of humour.
I have never understood the appeal of casinos. Or Vegas for that matter.
the final en 6/7 pls?
en + a word that means work hard
The locals are rather dopy; they only sail onthis little lake when there's no wind. If they ever heeled (keeled?) over, they'd die of heart attacks
Me neither! Though the local casino is also the home to a very good theatre - have seen a couple of good productions there.
Every time I've been in a casino [not gambling related] I've been sick to my stomach. All those people mindlessly putting money in and getting nothing out of it
Thanks, Molly
In my wild and often broke youth, I used to play backgammon for money
Yeah, sailing when there is no wind is pretty dopey
Seriously ruby?
When I was in college, there used to be some serious backgammon for money games.
I've only been to a casino once and that was on holiday in Tunisia! We took $10 and when it was gone, it was gone. No desire to go back.
Yes U also used to be on horses when I had a little extra money. We used to do a lot of ocean sailing off Miami and the Bahamas
bet*
I once got hu6d in a chouette by two guys. I learned my lesson
I can see Ruby now, at the track in her attractive dress and cute shoes
I was there last June as a race Mr. Bich was volunteering for and my granddaughter was running in was there. We ate at the buffet
Ask Annie about OTB. I only went to the track with my father, when I was young, and with a beau, when I was much older
Once there was a tryout for "Jeopardy" there.
did you all find the th5? I thought it was a Fr shrub but I guess it's latin
No I don't have that word.
th5/18
That's where the baby dog sleeps' she has made a nest there
Looking!
Cute
she is a character
th5 ends with first two of rich person's boat
Thanks Molly. That helped.
ty, Molly, I couldn't clue it, didn't think of that
One of the many weirdo Babble words
but not weird here, everybody has them in their hedges
Looks like a type of cypress tree
Just googled it.
I'm sure if I knew more about landscaping it would be a familiar word
maybe. They were here when we bought the house aand give lots of privacy WHEN they are healthy
Good Morning Everyone
{{river}}
Hi River
Happy Friday
And the same to you
drug for ADD?
I think it's Friday cocktail time someplace!
bit early for me - only 8:23 am
Yes Ruby, but I think that is a proper noun
Friday bedtime here - well, almost!
*Mixes Ruby a drink
River, if you were inBinghamton, you'd have a beer and tomato juice for breakfast
already had a Ricard with lunch
yuck - maybe vodka and orange juice
or a bloody mary
Oh, like one is enough for you? : D
hahah
what is a Ricard?
Bloody Mary, extra spicy for River
or a bloody caesar
yes I like them hot....
It's licorice-flavored -- every Mediterranean country has one like it: raki, ouzo, anisette, etc.
I assume Ruby means the anise flavored liqueur
they start out yellow, but when you add water, they turn milky
I think Ricard is a little less sweet
Icky, I can't handle Clamato
I don't like Clamato, either, but a good Bloody Mary can be super
I like Clamato especially with the rimmer on the glass
Actually I was just introduced to Clamato this year when I went to visit my friend in Canada
I've always wondered who came up with mixing clam and tomato juice. Some New Englander no doubt.
and i dont like clam juice but for some reason I clamato
I used to like clam juice, but it's been years. I think, however, I'll drink almost anything (except Clamato) hahah
The beer and clamato combination really gives me the gickies
tastes change. I no longereat oysters and grew up eating them since \I was a little kid
beer and tomato juice, specific for Binghamton hangovers
Those Binghamton folks are hard party animals
I cant wait for this rain to stop - it is killing my hip
That storm came through here the other day. It was miserable.
does anybody else know about Cidty Chicken and Spiedis?
Good morning and hello everyone
City*
hello car.
hello car
Hi Car, is your eldest still among the living?
Yes
bye kids, see you later
When he did apologize, I told him he broke my heart.
bye ((ruby))
oh no car - I did not hear what happened but I know what you mean - my daughter breaks my heart all the time
I was flipped the bird and told to F off
Yeah, kids do that on occasion. But it is usually not their intention. The hormone years are hard.
Was the first time, but I know it won't be the last
oh boy - that is not acceptable
how old is he?
11
that is young for that - my best friends son has done that to her many times but he is 17. Loss of privileges is a constant at her house.
Yeah, that is about the age my boys started getting that "teenage boy smell".
I remember that smell - awful
1
and the odd part is he really is a great kid. But Mom is always at fault!
But of course
People (including kids) often go for the jugular in fights. It starts with I HATE YOU! when they are kids.
stay strong - their fazes change so quickly
*little kids
Well he picked a really stupid time to do it...dad was home.
Why is it any worse to do when Dad is home?
Someone else to correct him and punish him...very beneficial I believe.
react before thinking - their brains are not developing
I was emotional and heated at that point...so it was better handled by a cooler head.
you are right car
Did you all see that report about a teenager's brain being basically back at infant stage?
it wouldn't surprise me
at that age my daughter was a yeller, stomper and slammer......was not pretty
It has to do with the development and the amount of information they are taking in at school at the time
stats for the U please?
You forgot the eye rolling River : D
we had to take in all the information too but if I had done something like that I would have gotten slapped
us 5/12
No shit.
She is 21 and has the eye roll down perfectly
Got it, ty
In all honesty I think she gets that from me -- was a champion at the eye roll when I was still with my ex
I need to get back to work - have a great day - (((Car)))
Have a great day River!
I need to get mom to day program. BBL>
Good morning, all!
Hi Judi
Ah. There is life. :-)
Just me and all the lurkers
lurking.
Impressive invisibility cloak, mixi.
Be careful in those bushes Mixi. There are a lot of people in there with you.
They are well hidden.
This grid is going to be a bear I think.
really? it seems a lot better than yesterday i think
Does it have teeth? Oh, say it has teeth.
It seems rather fangish to me.
All the vowels have been flung to the outer edges.
didn't finish yesterdays. will finish today.

Une! last night was magical-- John Lithgow was stunning, and Glenn Close wasn't bad either
Sounds wonderful Dorens!
took my daughter and somehow ended up in the second row. Like sitting in their living room
that happened to us at a Toby Keith concert...awesome!
and no one can do words better than Albee. so damned clever
What did you see?
A Delicate Balance
I am not familiar with that but will look into it later today.
(Une never gets up to NY anymore these days, but loves the theater-- So when I go I am her vicarious theater-goer, sometimes she even tells me what to see. Not that I go all that often, but now that I'm retired......)
So, Edward Albee is best known for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.... but this one should be better known.
2nd row -- wow!!!!!!
love love love lithgow
Years back we had first row for Gilda Radner's one woman (plus Father Guido Sarducci) show on Broadway
how fabulous, jeff
I belong to tdf.org which has so many plays available for tickets ranging from $9-45 for (usually) orchestra seats.
That must have been awesome!
had seats like that at cabaret with joel grey
We just saw "Beautiful" last month-the Carole King musical-done very well
oh, jeff, that looked amazing
That I would LOVE to see
I didn't see the other musical "biography" shows but I think that that was one of the best
phantom: Geritol
Interesting that her writing partner Gerry Coffin was just inducted into the LI music hall of fame this past week

Hi Judi
I am heading out. HAGD all

So yes, Une. I recommend that you make it up to NY to see this one... Just brilliant, all around (and this was just the third night of previews, it will probably get even better)
before i go to NYC i've got to save enough pennies to visit Jennifer in Maine :-)
if only Jen could meet you in NYC and go with you!

Yes, I got it MLF.
can you break it down please?

Oh, it stinks AND it has teeth. Bad breath too I suppose. : P
Definitely. Have you finished it, Molly?
fw and off to enjoy coffee and the daily news
Only the en words left.
Congrats flosey :)
Hey Babble Friends....have a little something I need help with. Anyone still around?
Standing by, car!
OK...since yesterday, I keep writing the number 5 where it does not belong. When writing my work files names down (date, doc, office) I wrote them as 05 (may) instead of 10 (october). I keep typing 2015 instead of 2014....what is up with the number 5?
Is Crossy here? We need Elegant on this one, I think.
*holds hand up* Gimme 5!
lol Judi
Its driving me batty at this point.
Mystery car
Any significant annivesaries or other date related things coming up?
No
Any time or address relations that you can think of?
No
Maybe that's how many eggs were fertilized the last time you had sex.
If it was just happening today while I was typing I would just think I was tired or distracted. But the fact that I wrote several things down yesterday with the 5 is wigging me out
Are you very tired?
Oh myyyyyyy
Sorry. Just my sick mind at work. Please don't drop dead.
I will send Crossy an email to see if Elegant has any idea. Thank you friends! (sick minds and all! LOL! ) xoxoxoxo
Does Elegant have psychic abilities?
ee
Oh, there is a God. I just read that Honey Boo-Boo was canceled.
And... Fireworks!
It depends on what kind of meaning you are looking for. You can do a Google search on "the meaning of the number 5" and discover what you think it means for you. Having someone else interpret it will only give you their slant on the meaning of that number.
congrats judi
SO 5/12?
plural of so 4/5 above it :-) good afternoon all. :-)
hi wolvie
i have a so 5/10 that is a plural of the word above it
the s0 4/5 sounds like a weapon sw 5- minus the w - then plural
so that is- forgive my typing :-)
thanks wolvie
yw :-)
Well, that is an so5 that is a plural of the so4 above it.
: D
molly and the words i needed to grey the tile
lol good
i thought so too wolvie:)
i need the al 5/10 that is not a plural .. unless they both are as i have one of them?

mlf - the sa6/7 combo?
*opens lead balloon joke window*
*pushes balloon out window*
It's a tough room Ru. People just don't get it.
ah well.. that's the breaks
It's the polite woman's place to get a five dollar foot long.
(When in doubt, spell it out)
so spell it out then
Oh dear, I just did. It explains Ru's comment about Car's question about the number 5. *Keeps lead balloon window open*
What ARE you (not) trying to explain?
clue for the se7 please?
se7 is a plural
nm - got it
Car asked about the significance of the number 5. Ru made a joke about Subway. It went over like a lead balloon. I should have left it that way. Jokes just don't go over here. Best to keep it simple. How is the weather? How is your puppy? Your kitty?
Maybe this is the time to say goodbye to this game...
hi folks
help with h pls I have hu6/24
... dance from the disco era ... Do the xxxxxx
hello everyone :-)
I thought we all loved Ru's jokes.
peri i have hy 5 - have to do with water

Since I'm actually the same person, needless to say, I love Ru's jokes
one has to understand where ru is coming from...
not seeing that se 6-7 combo
and still don't see the in 8-9 that was called last night
Ted Bundy was as se6 killer
oh duh - ty annie
... or a string of tv shows strung together to tell a story
i nominate TH 5/18 of the "weird" (dumbn) word of the day - alt spelling for a species of the sandarac tree
gee - I could find that if I knew what a sandarac tree was!
it is an arborvitae
at least according to the definition
large coniferous evergreen tree of North Africa and Spain
in 8/9...if you blow up a balloon, you in7 it. One who does that is an in8, with a different ending.
no wonder I don't know it!
ty molly
You're welcome Nan. I have to go out and trim my th5 bush now. NOT
that went over my head -- obviously something tropical that doesn't survive our winters!
Well, Ruby says they thrive in France, so not that tropical.
TH + vowel + sometimes vowel + vowel
We have them here.
ty teach
arbor vitae, that is. Never heard that name.
Arborvitae is a Latin term for a cypress tree. Popular with arborists who have to study that stuff to get their degrees.
Also popular with landscapers.
Our development is crawling with them.
last sa 6, please?
don't have it Nan
SA 6 - what you did on a chair + either ** + vowel
just looked up arborvitae -- why don't they just say cedar trees? ---- our house is surrounded by a cedar hedge!
ty
ty teach
yvw
there certainly seems to be a latin influence in this one
it's making me nuts
don't you mean arachis or corylus?
:)
I swear i entered half of these words last night

Congrats nan!!

No thanks.
I'll hang in there.

Hello babbleworld!

No credit to me...Molly started it!
yes, so I see, looking back…thank you Mollyl.
In the last few days, it has become evident to me that people do not really read the chat. I should remember that and not comment the way I do.
Molly, I admit to being one of those. However, having said that, I always pay attention to whatever you have to say. (when I see it!) You bring remarkable truths to us all and thank you.
It is always the bigger ones that catch one's eyes...

But still valid.

Welcome, Joym999 :-)
is it spelled like that in the UK?
it is here, Bichon.Yes.
Another episode of spelling things differently. It confuses me sometimes.
zooz, I didn't realize that you are a man.
Hello again...
???
Hello, Jilly :-)
I was just looking at your bio. Not that it matters
Zoom is a man's man. : D
Studly and the ladies love him. : D
There aren't many men on the chog
I just bet
OK even though next to my monika is a little blue person.
Well, doh
Maybe i am too polite.to be male.Sorry not getting it.
Zoom, I have come to the realization that people don't pay very much attention to chat things.
I do, but just not the little person
Gotta get this done....going out for beer and pizza with a good friend that's been gone all summer...
Hope you have a nice time, Jilly :-)
Have a blast
Zoom, I love polite men. You are a good one. ♥
We should...LOL. Going to one of our local breweries
((Molly)) Thank you :-)
Two dances in grid today....
Hello all. I too am very fond of polite men. Pity they are so scarce... Zooz, you are a much sought-after commodity.
Blessed art thou amongst women!!
Hi there soodle!
Hiya Jilly :-)
Were the anniversary celebrations happy & memorable?
<---!!FW!!!
Indeed they were soodle! TY for asking. We had a 3 day event out of it! Including ending with breakfast and a reunion with one of our friends that sang at our wedding and was part of our college gang
Very happy for you, Jill! Here's to the next 40 ðŸ¸
As long as hubby's Alzheimer's stays stable....kinda scary, that's why we LIVE every day that we have!
Its a bank holiday weekend here. 25 years ago, on the October bank holiday, I got married. Bittersweet memories.....
Sheesh, Jill, life is never easy, is it? ((((Hugs))))
*Cues up mournful music and gets out the tissues

Oh bichon! Too many falls in babbleworld lately...Granny rose yesterday!
Soodle has apparently already had several drinks as she has forgotten how to spell my name
Damn autocorrect! :-p
That poor autocorrect gets so much bad press....
Shhhh Jilly. That's my excuse! Don't tell Molly....
I have those cheap nasty generic specs everywhere around the house. In the bedroom, bathroom, car, office. I am probably blinding myself, but at least I can read.
I murdered the chat, didn't I? I'll noodle off to the PB so. Sorry.
LOL...no I was in FB land!
I'm just pretending I don't hear people whispering about me. Happens a lot here, and on Facebook.
Aw, feckit! I was enjoying myself singing mournful sad songs in the PB, and feeling sorry for mysellf
hi all!
Oh woe is Soodle! Worra worra worra.

It's bleak in here Sue, enter at your own risk

hi all. sorry i had to disappear. any clues for the 9?
Not for me...throwing pompoms, FW and free drinks!
Not a bit of it, Sue!! It's only as bleak as you make it, and God knows , your not a bleak person! So.. How goes it with Frank?
I clued earlier to you mkg...it's the pl of the 8: one who blows up a flat tire
sorry jilly i had to go to business calls. . ok so one who blows up a flat tire. hmmm. i will try to find it.
or someone who blows up an ego
an ego?????? now i am confused.
Free drinks, Jilly? I think I'll have a Brandy & Baileys! (Only if you are paying...)
ok i dont know who blows up a flat ti*e other than a ti*e changer. or a mechanic. or the driver.
*Pretends she didn't hear the bleak stuff. Tends bar.
jilly is the ego one a real clue? i am confused
Mkg, if you want to get the kiddy pool ready, you have to in5 it.

Plural
And only use one T
Sorry, our vegetable delivery arrived!
ty. got it but weird word for sure.
anyway, Frank is doing much better now that the kidney stone is gone; he's still pretty worn out, though.
How do you get vegetable delivery?
We are part of a CSA (community supported agriculture) - often these are local farms, but this one is actually a whole set of community gardens
they bring a box every week (or as often as you sign up for)
Oh we have that too but you have to go to the farm and pick it up. Nice that you get it delivered.
THe gardens themselves were started about three years ago by one of our friends; they are on town and county property, including schools and city hall, and also some businesses and individuals
Excellent idea, Sue.
they grow an enormous amount; most is donated to food pantries, homeless and battered women's shelters, and the like, but this year they started the CSA - and you are right, it is very nice to have them delivered!
they've raised enough money through donations and grants that they were able to purchase some property (I think some of it was donated as well) and have planted fruit and nut trees, so in a few years they'll have those as well as the veggies
So how long will this last for you? It has to be close to the end of growing season in your area.
I'm not sure, Molly, I think it was supposed to be 15 weeks. We should be nearing the end of it. We've had a few frosty mornings but no hard freeze yet.
hi, all wow , sue, it's been along time, just reading your updates
hi TO!
maybe it's 20 weeks, Molly, I just looked up when we got our 1st one and this one is the 20th
anyway, TO, yes, we're back on the roller coaster
TO, just curious. Has anyone given you a hard time about your icon? I love it, but there are people here who get snooty about icon contents.
No hard freeze here. Waiting for it so the leaf mold spores will finally go away
hi bichon! Yes, my friends with allergies are eager for frost :-)
