I think it is interesting, the way some grids seem to flow and others are like pulling chicken's teeth. But when you ask in chat, some people experience them just the opposite way
it all depends on how the brain works i guess. sometimes the words just jump out faster than you can type. today's words are all over the place.
for myself, I know that grids with good endings flow best for me. Because you find a series of words for each word. Those grids with one-of's only are hard. But fun in their own way.

I have friends who cut out or down on socializing online during Lent; I haven't been able to do that. One thing I've tried to do for lent (& then carry it over for the rest of the year) is calm driving; not getting upset with other people's driving; praying for bad/dangerous drivers and those around them, etc.
Only way to survive on the road today.
And you don't even live in the northeast.
I'm not a person who gets angry behind the wheel; but this has been a very hard thing to do (especially trying to keep it up all year!)

For example right now I see and old ink-well i found that was made in the mid-1850's a candlestick holder with the build-up of many burnt candles cascading down its sides, a white crystal from god knows where, a wrist-watch is is forever stuck on 2:25 pm. All of this is idea fodder for my warped mind to transform into tall tales:))

... I can strip on of the 500 coats of paint people used to love to slap on them in the 60's, add some ligh min-wax stain and clear-coat it with 3 or 4 coats of marine varnish:)
I cannot tell you how muc lead paint I have had to scrape off of beautiful old trim work and doors cut in the Victorian era from amazing first-growth birds-eye maple:)
