Just got back from Europe. Well, a week ago. First trip there, and first time I've ever been away from home for more than two weeks.
Melon, are you before or after your EUropean trip?

That answered my first question. How was it?
It was wonderful. I also spent three nights in Iceland before heading back.
The best place?
Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Regensburg, Paris, Iceland. NYC on each end, to and from Cleveland via Amtrak. Trains all over Europe.. Airbnb for about half the trip.
Paris stole my heart. I speak passable French, which may have something to do with it.
I loved being utterly at liberty for five weeks.
Now you have to plan to come to Israel, though it will be very difficult toplan to come by train!
I am overdue for Israel, was there in 2002. My neighbor is Israel, her parents live on a moshav called Tirosh.
Plan on coming before the countryis destroyed from within.

two of our cats like to play king of the hill with a particular window sill. They will both start out down the hallway somewhere, then at the exact same time they will race to this window in the living room at 5000 miles per hour or so and try to beat each other. One is 2 the other is 6 years of age. The 6 year old wins more often than not:)
