yes. I was stuck at the cancer lodge in Toronto for 6 months and all owed home on weekends.
last two - de 6/24 and ho 9/66 clues please
No outpatient in some cases, however others just waltz in, take their chemo and off they go.
That is what I did, but I was living in Toronto at the time.
when I had chemo before, I would have the treatment and just sleep it off for half a day before going back to work
I used the Princess margerette Lodge;) So glad it was there for me.
With every person the chemo is individual and unique.
I was lucky, very few side effects. I just felt "fluey" the day I got my chemo.
In y case, it also had a short shelf life, I would sit there and get ready, and they would only brew it up once i was there and ready to go. oftentimes it was still warm when it got to me.
Mine almost killed me:(
I had no side effects (just hair, etc.) but was ravenously hungry all the time
i lost all my hair and lost 100 pounds
wow! 100 lbs.
and my white count crashed
My hair thinned and I gained weight.
yes, mam; a full 100 pounds
I was a walking skeleton by the end of it all
I guess it depends on the dosage too. My chemo was just in case there were still cancer cells.
I went for coffee with a friend yesterday and she said I looked like a skeleton, all my bones protrude.
You eat, ruby tuesday; do not make me come over there and cook for you...:)
Mine was stage 2A, so the chemo was strong but it was a very common, hormone-receptive cancer
(as it is nopw.....)
it is very well it was caught at stage 2
they removed 32 lymph nodes then and only 2 were affected.
I can't believe they mentioned The Man from UNCLE movie but didn't mention that Hugh Grant is in it.
My 2nd cancer was stage 3 in my lymph node syste, but was caught just a hair before it decided to travel any further
I imagine I'll need another scan to see if the tumors are getting bigger or smaller. It's unfortunate that they've reassigned my oncologist

Yes, things really are improving.
My first cancer had a 90% mortality rate in 1970, but a 90% cure rate when i had it.

If I may interject here....like many other Babblers, I have laid low on the chog recently. The reason is that I have been accused of taking sides in squabbles in the chog. I have never 'taken sides' . I have stated on the Babble FB page that I won't tolerate bullying or harassment. I have received screenshots via email, (from one person who purports not to be on Facebook) showing my posts, in an accusatory tone. I loved playing Babble. More than the game, I loved the chat. I no longer feel comfortable chatting. I'm still useless at finding words. Bah!

I'd love to see a puzzle with both horserace and stent in it. The count would balance out because lickety's doesn't accept it (not part of the database, but Doc G added it), but lickety's would accept horserace....
