how are you after yesterday? i have been praying for your inner peace to be strengthened.
I have done most of it, feel better now that I know I have a handle on it. Still need some papers that Rob must produce and he is constantly away, helping with the refugees. Was gone most of yesterday, all of yesterday evening and some of the night... and now he is gone again and won't be back till after dinner at the earliest.
so... I have decided to send them what I do have. Plus an email explaining what I don't have and why, and they can expect it later in the week.

well, ptsd, chronic fatigue, FM.....they are all much the same. except with ptsd a cause can be found. the others are idiopathic.
right. At least they are quite the same in how they express themselves. With ptsd, some parts of the brain are actually shrunken, which can be proofed... very nice for the doctors.
exactly. there is just no test which clinically shows FM and chronic fatigue. just the symptoms. all of which vary from one person to another. not only in variety but intensity.
ugh no hitmen. I remember. No hitman either. Stupid enable.
yeah which makes it so very very hard to prove you are really suffering from them. They love to argue away your symptoms by saying there is nothing that explains them, so they must be in your head.

as I have said a million times since the pelvic instability and the ptsd: much better to break a leg or lose a limb. At least people can see what is wrong and won't tell you you are imagining it.

I hate the battle of the litter boxes :( we try to get 4 days out of two litter boxes that are for 3 cats). I scoop daily, deodorize as needed, but then day three comes.. I am waiting for them to do one more poop. They are waiting contentedly, and under no strain whatsoever. The battle of wills beings. Then a mental picture appears of our jumbo butterscotch tabby--she is perched over top of my pillow in preparation for a protest statement, and I give in and change the boxes. I wash then, sterilize them, put the finest cat litter known to man in them ,and then, as a final gesture of servitude, I sprinkle the pristine surface with Arm & hammer cat deodorant. We all know what happens next.. lol!

you can use portable cd or ipods and such
if you purchase the books as electronic files you just put them on an MP3 player (such as an ipod), if you get cd's you can either use cd player, or upload from the CD to itunes or whatever and also use MP3 player.
possibly you can even still use cassettes and an old walkman

i still have my walkman, but most of the audio books are in cd format..
or you could take a friend along and have them read the book aloud to you as you walk, lol

i was playing duets with my recorder friend this morning....then lunch out....back by football....
but i think the washer downstairs (basement outside of apartment door) is stuck on wash cycle....i will probably have to bring wet soapy clothes to the other building's basement to wash again and dry....the machines don't have adjustable buttons....it's all or nothing...

I sympathize with anyone having to use apartment laundry facilities. It was a day of jubilee for me when I finally got a place with my own washer and dryer.
well the good news is that the washer is not broken....bad news is that someone dumped my stuff in the dryer and stole the washer....i had another load there waiting to go in....annoying...
even more exciting...being in a newer house with laundry facilities on the 1st floor, not down a rickety staircase in the basement...

Pen, any way you could get a stackable washer/dryer unit for your apartment? The people I know who have them, love them.
i don't think so....i would have to have a way to vent the dryer....and the kitchen pantry closet would have to be remade....
