g'day bichon
hint for the in 10, pls

Hello Sprite, Rose, Bich etc !

hi matty and bichon, how are you today?
*hugs rose* Hello dear friend, I am fine. How was your day?
I'm ok. Sunny day!
here as well :) Yay for sun.
not too bad. we went and saw the new emily blunt mov ie...sicario. it was very good. but full of images which could become nightmares.
ouch rose... glad you enjoyed the movie, but try and don't get nightmares
Pigly should so be a word.
I agree
In the southern US there's a supermarket chain called Piggly Wiggly
and i started the day filling out a three page form ready for my admission on saturday. i came very close to throwing it across the room.
aw cool name
omg rose, poor you! That is awful.
lollll.... just so's you know. i fully empathise with you.
which reminds me... my love told me yesterday that the refugees Amsterdam is housing have to fill in a registry form. It is (I am kidding you not) 42 pages long!
That's obscene
I hope Don is helping you with it, rose. We need someone to pull us through that kind of sh*t.
that is so wrong.....
isn't it, matty? I was so mad when he told me. Imagine... 42 pages in a strange language, on top of being a refugee in the first place. I'd go bananas.
what do you mean, you would go???
true, dat. Ok, I'd go bananaier.
roflol
Heh!
Is that ni7 a word I'm likely to use?
btw, sprite. did you hear from pugs?

new babble dictionary word: datacop - cybercrime policeman
oh good one sprite.
:D
OK, before getting clues, can you tell me, of the words I'm missing, which are words I may typically use? ic5/14, in6/27 and 8/65, pi6/30 and pi5/16? I just want to know which ones to focus on for the moment

I no like this puzzle
He also gave me a prescription for percocet if I need it.
Glad you are getting a night''s sleep tho.
That makes a lot of difference.
I've noticed I am also less sore on days I go to the gym.
a good sleep helps heal the soul as well as the body.
Also helps when my team is winning :)
sukee, did the jays clinch the division yet?
Magic number is 2. They could do it tonight.
And they will do it in Baltimore in front of some very rude fans :)
Even tho I am a Yankee fan, I say they deserve the win. Now I will go sulk in the kitchen and make coffee.
How are you doing Annie and lbd?

this is much too early to start the day!! 4:50 am!!
Howdy, Flosey :)
hi there Crossy
I get you, Flosey. when i used to manage my service station and before that in construction, I used to dream of the day when I would no longer need to set an alarm clock every morning. Now that the time for that has come, I am in bed at 1 am and up at 04:30 am-- all with no alarm clock. So I suppose I best be careful of what I wish for :(
ah yes, I remember the days when I could sleep in late on weekends!! those days have passed, no matter what the time, when I wake, I'm up for the day!
hello. I'm here for a couple of minutes and wanted to say "jhello"
Hi ruby, how goes it
Hi Ruby, I seldom see you these days

Burt's mood swings are wild as are his moments or minutes of lucidity.
The problems are that he doesn't sleep at night and fights against his covers and diaper, eetc.
And then it's either |"Where is my wife" every minute or so if he's with a caregiver or I" I hate you" and takes a swing
in9 is extension of in6 - a formal accusation
My mother was like that in the final stages
ty flosey

customs wasn't bad either way
of course I set off every security system and had to be wanded and patted down.....oh the thrill!
the Canadians were nicer than the Americans coming back in Customs
customs has always been a bit tedious. I wonder if i could walk through carrying two bundles comprising 35 swords today like i did in 1985.
oh that's a blast isn't it?
stats for the n's?
yes, yes they are, ruru!
I have to agree with you there.....

The swords were all from http://www.marianozamorano.com/en.htm\nl
oops. should've shortened it.
Toronto was great and folks were friendly. I had a 3 hour wait there. I had a 5 hour wait at LaGuardia. And no free wifi.

LOL Judi
yw kate...i forgot that li4 is a fishy also...
so 9 and 10 are both in?
ok i got the 10...
yes hurshy
are they related? do i just change the end?
not really, the 9 is related to the 6 - add gerund ending
i think i don't have the right 6
in6/24 - to officially accuse someone
ahhh thanks
yvw
the 9 and 10 are probably distantly related at some latin root level but i'm not that smart :)
yeah they probably are
In8/65 hint please
blah just gave it below
oh no what am i saying
that was 9 you want 8
well i need that one too
I have the 9 - just left with the in8

ouch!
and hi to all!
hi snuffy!
howdy jmc.. sorry to miss hego
me too. you'll forgive me if i don't try for your arms. . . that hurt!
thanks to great clues, have only 12 left, going to the list now for help in finding those... passes ice bags to jmc
*sigh*
thanks snuffy
nothing hurt but my pride as they say
just started. . . more unemployed than usually so figured it was time to hone my babbling skills again
ooh.. are you ok with "more unemployed" or not?
mmmmm. . . . .more employed would be better but life goes on and i can always dabble with the law and such. . .
happy my solar panels are paying there way. . .
ugh. . . their way. . .
ok.. daughter likes her solar panels too (AZ)
haha i would be getting even more bangs for my bucks there. . . it has been cloudy with no rain most of September. . . worst of all possible worlds since not much solar power and the veggies are thirsty
how are things with you snuffy?
I know.. we had such a dry spell here too.. trees very stressed, pines dropping so many cones I had to use a snow shovel to clean the sticky things up.. life here is good, we are getting ready to head south in a couple of weeks.. the weather has been lovely and we have really enjoyed our time "up north"
nice. . . yes. . . a move south early is called for since the leafs are going to be disapointing
Lots of maple leaves to mulch and to clean out of gutters.. we are hiring someone to do it this year. Otherwise, we would be here until beginning of Nov.
greyed the first column. . .
LOL.. wtg!
i am using a new computer (thought I would beat the other one dying at the middle of tax season (as old computers have a wont to do) and it is driving me nuts (as new computers have a wont to do)
I only have a tiny crepe myrtle and a sycamore. . . which my tree guy tells me is really a maple. . . and neither one near enough to the house to cause gutter problems thankfully. . .
yes, it is ruff until you make friends with it.. are you using a new platform too? I have forgotten how to use Apple computers, getting used to Windows 10 at present
yes. . . really can't get a new computer without a new platform anymore. . . my older ones were windows 7 so I am moving on to windows 10 since windows 8 was so sucky that they skipped windows 9
this thing also has a touch screen which is nice but it keeps opening up this arrow thingy that moves the page when i just want to check a box and i am having trouble with the tabs in the firefox browser. . .
good move on their part.. a friend of mine struggled for quite a while with Windows8 before she returned the whole unit to the store
not to mention i can't get it to right click properly. . .
yes. . . a wise bit of marketing. . .
this is a welsh looking grid. . . .
it is pretty friendly..
i have stumbled on to 18 words already :-)
fw here.. anyone need a clue before I scoot?
whooo hooo snuffy!
Happy Babbling.. good chatting with you jmc, hope you figure out your new 'puter soon.. (-:
how about a clue to the word you found most difficult? :-)
bye snuffy. . . .enjoy the weather
ooh, ok.. I never would have found the li7, li8 combo without a clue about "two fish". The second fish I knew, but the first fish is just a gerund ending
thanks. . .
yw (-:
jmc! hello!
howdy!
Hi, jmc, aloy
hows the real estate biz in Houston?
hi Seain. . . sorry you missed the bbq. . . it was a perfect evening. ..
bbq?
I missed bbq?
darn
Busy as usual. Was reading your post about the computer. I have a new one with Windows 10, and keep accidentally hitting Cortana. Make it stop!
I was sorry not to be able to be there, but the past winter resulted in the necessity to be elsewhere that weekend.
yes kje. . . you should have flown to DC to my annual affair. . . last weekend of August. . . .
it's always a lovely time, and i' know you'd be a great addition, kje
I unpinned cortana. . . unpinning is WONDERFUL!!!!
I bet it was good. Did any of you see the pope?
hello friends. its POURING out, and tertiare still has a game, in 15 mintues....please tell me I don't have to go!
I CAN UNPIN CORTANA?????
I make great ribs!
it's raining here in Northern Virginia, too.
don't go trif. . .ask doctor kje. . . its a matter of your health
i wish it was raining here . . . :-(
well, you have some southern roots, imc.... I'd trust your bbq skills!
clearly!
you feeling under the weather, trip?
trif?
it's always surprising to me how local rain is in our region, jmc
i made a point of leaving while the pope was here. . . so did thousands of others. . . the boy had to work and he said the streets were deserted (desserted?)
no. But there are a LOT of colds going around at work, and I really don't want to go stand outside in the rain for an hour
kje. . . she doesn't want to stand in the rain watching a game. . .
I can't imagine what mayhem it was there... I usually avoided DC in peak times (like July 4th!)
champ. . . right click on the tile and then you can unpin or even close it . . . all of them. . .
Did anyone ever cue the in8?
Bless you, Jmc!!!!
raincoat and a little whiskey?
I really should go....sigh.....
off I go
apparently everyone was so afraid of the mayhem it wasn't bad. . . my sister's friend slept on a sidewalk from 4 am on to see the pope and did and was at work by 11
I did it!!!! Let's see how this goes...
in8 - add adverb ending to in6
haha that is my kind of doctor. . .proscribing whiskey!
wow, not sure if I'd sleep on the sidewalk for much
yay champ. . . babbleland is the place to learn
enjoy trif! remember you won't always have to do this!
i won't even wait 15 minutes in line for a seat at a restaurant. . .
we'll... you've hit my weak spot... I might do it for a really awesome meal ; )
haha i would rather go home and cook. . .
in6 is in + anagram of sound a timer makes... then add adverb ending for in8
i did stand in line for the y2k stuff on the mall but if i hadn't been standing on line i would have been standing on the mall so i figured why not?
thanks for the clues kje
the one event I did go to DC for during mass crowd times is the cherry blossoms one year - that is truly gorgeous. Other years, I would try to hit mid-week either before or after that peak weekend bc the crowds are too much
yw
i always go at the crack of dawn before the tourists get up. . .my hubby and the boy and i would go and take chocolate croissants and hot cocoa and hot coffee. . .
well you always have a place to stay with me. . .
oooooo - I bet that was pretty. sunrise at the tidal basin
yes. . .and the boy got to daycare and we got to work after a lovely picnic. . .i still have great photos from then. . . harder now because of all the parking restrictions. . .
I actually really liked cherry blossom best right as the trees start to drop their petals and it is like a snow storm of pink-white petals swirling all around. That is like a fairy tale
i know what you mean. . . that is my favorite too. . . standing in swirling pale pink discs. . .
ok, back to work. happy babbling!
bye kje. . .nice to see you. . .
I feel like a doofus...can't get the in8 from that lovely clue...
just a** two letters that would make it an adverb. . . obviously you need to think of some adverbs and the right two letters will clearly be visible. . . .
A timer doesn't beep, it di4s
hi molls
That's a help...thx!
yw
the di4 did the trick...was thinking of a clock, not a timer.
oh. . . okay. . . . i thought you were stuck on the adverb. . . haha
Yes jmc...am clearly a second grader! ;)
oh i get by with a little help from my friends. . . .
Kumbaya!
me. . . i'm still looking for a fish that starts with li. . . .
Do you want a clue?
I do have that one, thanks to an earlier clue. Was a new word for me.
yes please
Never heard of the li fish, it rhymes with what a timer does
It one word here, but can also be two. The li4 is as Molly said, but add a fish and you get the li7.
a babble fish or a fish fish?
nm
fish fish. Just one I never heard of.
both really. . . hahaha
if the first is a fish, i ain't heard of it. :)
It is. I looked it up.
apparently so seain. . . .
Some fish from over in Euro country, I think
i was mainly using the wrong G
gotcha.
ugh. . . how do you highlight something to copy and paste it champ?
What are you doing/
i was trying to copy my list and paste it into lickety. . . but i can't highlight it to copy it. . . . grrrr
Do you have the single pad on your keyboard?
yes. . .
and a touch screen which i also can't figure out how to highlight with. . . .
Put your left finger on the left side of the pad and hold, while you run your right index finger on the right side of the pad. I don't use the touch screen for that.
You're holding down the left side as you track down the right side.
all i get is the stupid circle with arrows making it scroll too fast. . . . :(
maybe i can figure out how to disable that thing. . .it would make this work a lot better. . . i had no trouble with the touch pad on the last two laptops. . . .
You can disable the touch screen. That is the first thing I do with any new Windows platform.
I placed the cursor next to the first word. Then I held down the left side of the pad (as you would a CTRL key), then I dragged down on the right side, and it highlighted.
New computers are a pain in the butt!!! But we figure it out eventually. We will overcome!
i am not so much wanting to disable the touch screen as the scrolling device . . . do you know how to do that molls?
haha that is why i figure i am working right now since i am trying to learn how to use this thing before i have no choice!
Exactly. It takes time. You gotta get to know it.
well hello, jmc.
hi TO . . . you were on my list of people to email today! glad to see you. . .
sorry i have been so derelict in getting back to you. . . not a reflection of lack of interest as much as lack of energy . . .
i hope you will feel better soon.
thanks. . . i couldn't decide if i had allergies or a cold. . .
i was in md end of summer, so tried to reach you.
oh sorry to have missed you. . . entirely my fault. . .
did you call? you do have my number i think. . .
last time i did there was some confusion. i was just hoping i would hear from you as i had in the past.
i'll call you later and make sure you have the right number for the future. . . I either been working long hours or sleeping long hours. . . not my best summer. . . .
sorry i let you down. . .
as i said, hoping you are soon feeling up to snuff. you work long hours.
i began taling B12 at doctor's suggestion. i think it helps, but nothing replaces sleep.
haha not right now. . . i'm hardly working unfortunately. . . but i have been able to catch up on my sleep. . .
B12 is a miracle drug. . . I just need to be better about taking my vitamins regularly. . .
1/2 way. . . taking a break. . . bbl
tentative plan to go to md around halloween.
but if you are in the mood for a road trip, i am thinking louisiana. Researching it now.
for festival acadienes
I'll be around for halloween. . . not looking for a road trip right now. . . need to invest in work on house. . . but thanks
bye all

You need to quit your job and get a job as a photographer then.
Took hundreds to get the few I posted. I am gonig to get a tripod though :)
There are pictures posted on the internet by professional photographers that are not that good. And they sure don't use a point and shoot.
