The company hubs works for closed the plant he worked in. Rather than accept severance and try to find something new he applied for a transfer... in Minnesota. The company had 10 plants they would allow transfers to. Hubs figured, our kids are grown, why not have an adventure.

As a native Nova Scotian, I am inured to almost anything winter can throw at us. We get lots of wet, windy, snowy weather with often horrendous driving conditions.
