Haven't had snake yet. Willing to try it. Porcupine would be difficult to dequill/skin. Too much effort. The quills are quite pretty though.
Snake is very tasty, You clean it much like you would prepare a fish, skin it, cube it and batter it as you like, then you deep fry or pan-fry the chunks

My husband would be horrified ( he's deathly afraid of snakes ). I'll try just about any type of food.

Last year or so, I have been resurrecting old ,broken computers from my electronic junk closet. Playing on a venerable Eight year old machine that has vista on it as its last os :)
Has a whopping 40 gig hd as well :)
My desktop is eight years old as well...slow as molasses!
Lol, I just keep jamming parts from different old machines together till I get one that works--frankenputer :)

for me - doing a LOT better than I was. I was able to go outside a few times -- drove to town once to get berries, and rode in with Mother later so she could run an errand. My face only hurts a little bit, occasionally, now.

I am glad it's resolving -- was worried for a while I would have to cancel a silk painting day next week... but although the house and yard won't be as beautiful as I would like, I will have the energy to have my friends over, which is the real point. :-D If you were closer, would invite you!

Mother also decided to get me new stretchers and some pre-framed silk (circles and squares) for hanging in windows. I think it WILL be fun -- always good to have art in the summertime.
